- carrie kirby: Alright. I'm coming today with information I feel is a little maybe off what you've already seen on this podcast, but I feel like it's going to be very helpful. We are, mark my words, going into one of the most aggressive. Cold and flu seasons, I think. I feel it is a deep knowing that is that's what's going on. It's an intuitive thing. I've also seen evidence of it in my own house. you probably hear about it amongst your community, but these bugs, you guys, are not natural. They are definitely altered. If you learned anything during COVID. learned that is completely possible and humans are capable of a lot of things that Make you question everything. So that's not what we're talking about today. We're not talking about theories, we're talking about things you can do to keep your immune system healthy and strong and boosted going into fall, well being in fall and winter. These are just for a little bit of background. I have treated my family in myself with natural medicine, herbs, tinctures, oils, homeopathy, supplements, and using God's gifts to us from the earth since I became a mom and even before that. I have a very crazy background with being over prescribed antibiotics growing up as a child because that's a long story that I can tell another time. I had chronic strep throat and skin issues and all kinds of stuff that had me on antibiotics for over ten years. So I am not anti-Western medicine. Just to be clear, there is a time and a place for Western medicine and antibiotics, but it is not for viruses. It is not for a cold. and you know what, this is not medical advice. This is me sharing with you as a holistic health expert and someone who is very passionate about the integrity of the body and believing that the body knows what to do. using what is given to us on this earth as resources. for optimizing what God has given us as far as our immune system. We are up against a lot of toxins, biotoxins, toxins in our water, toxins in our food. It's all around us. It's in our air. It's all around us. And again, I could like really branch off of this and go into all of that. And maybe I will. But I really wanted to give you guys a tangible list. And this is not me giving you specific supplements to go buy. I'm not making money off of this. I'm not partnered with any of these brands. I don't even know if I'm gonna name the brands. I might, I might give you a list of like brands that I trust, but I just want you to know this is what my family uses, this is what I I use to keep our immune system optimized, period. So I hope this helps. So you probably know some of this, and some of it might be new to you. So I'm gonna start because I don't want to yap your ear off. First and foremost, get this, have this all around your house, have it in your car, have it in every room. Hypochlorous acid. Yes, I said that. Hypochlorous acid. If you don't know what it is, please know I'm holding the bottle that I have them all over my house. I've used this brand, there's other brands, pretty much every brand is use is making it now. interestingly enough, if you don't know, I have a skincare line that I launched, I don't know, four years ago, but I created about 16 years ago. I used it to heal my skin from all kinds of crazy issues. And I also came out with a hypochlorous acid product that I sought like I I never really launched it. I ended up just using it. there's an additional ingredient. And so I use that if the regular stuff doesn't work. But this stuff you guys is naturally occurring in humans. It is in the neutrophils, in your white blood cells. It is a like combination of atoms and the spray. literally is like a must-have. You shake it really good, you can spray it after the gym onto your face if you're trying to avoid breakouts. You can spray your hands, spray your steering wheel, spray your kids' hands. This isn't something like a sanitizer where you wipe it. It's something that you spray. If you shake it really well again, I'm not Promoting this brand, I'm just saying you spray it and let it sit on the surface for at least 15 seconds and it will kill everything. Fungal, antifungal, antimicrobial, antiviral. You get the point. This stuff is a lifesaver and it's amazing for your skin if you're like into that. There's so many benefits to this. You guys, have this on hand. I spray my kids' hands. I spray them in their face. Remember that viruses and bacteria can enter through any hole. Ears, eyes, nose, mouth, skin is an organ. So have this on hand and spray it everywhere. Give your kids some to take to school. Literally have them spray their face like throughout the day. Okay. Hypochlorous acid, a must. to that, I do have my phone here because I have I have a lot of ideas and I'm trying to keep it consolidated so that it's like a tangible list and it's not like get 50 things. Even though if you saw my supplement cabinet, you would be like, okay. So in addition, vitamin A. Okay, now again, this is not medical advice, but you want to get the right vitamin A. I'm going to say a lot of these I really lean on the brand Seeking Health. It's a practitioner grade brand. I am not partnered with them. I am a practitioner, but it is available to the consumer. And I like it because I trust the doctor that created it. He's a holistic-minded doctor. Not medical advice, just trying to recommend and help you guys out. so I really like the vitamin A. There are different forms of vitamin A, and you don't want to overdose on vitamin A. So do your own research as to how much you should take. But vitamin A is crucial to the immune system and most people miss it. If you're not taking a multivitamin, which most multivitamins are shit, Definitely boost with vitamin A. Okay. Seeking Health has one with that. Vitamin D3 K2. So that's a combination. There are different types of K2. The one that I like is also from Seeking Health. Not partnered, just I really like them. They have a tincture. I will say all of the things that I recommend, I want you to get liquid, liquid over pill, because 99% of the time, like 20 to 30% of the actual thing will make it into your body because your digestion has to work on the pill to break it down in order to get what's inside the pill. So you really want to give your body bioavailability when it comes to taking supplements and trying to take care of your body. So that means like anything that will assimilate liquid-wise will assimilate faster. Anything liquid will assimilate faster. assimilate means like pull into like when you assimilate nutrients your body's like to the nutrients. So the D3K2 is a combination you can get on Seeking Health's website. Love that. And you definitely want to make sure that you are being aggressive. I'm not gonna give you doses. That's not what I'm here for. I'm not your doctor. but Your kids, you all should be taking that. Okay. a B complex, again, liposomal, which means liquid and fat soluble. everyone is deficient in bees and magnesium. So I'll just add mag magnesium in that too. Magnesium is responsible for over 400 cascades in the body. guaranteed you are having some sort of symptom from being deficient in magnesium because of our soil. So a B complex magnesium glyconate is the most absorbable. I really like a multi-magnesium, so some sort of magnesium complex. I like the magnesium breakthrough that is actually a pill, but it is has multiple forms of magnesium. There's magnesium sprays, magnesium citrate, there's all different forms of magnesium, and each one has a job or like an optimal job. The one that I like the most is glyconate and threonate for mental and body support, nervous system support. Glyconate's great at night to like relax your nervous system. It is a game changer. Get your kids on magnesium. Get yourself on magnesium. If you have any toy any type of migraines or headaches or anxiety, do it like it covers so much ground. Do not miss out on the magnesium. Okay. vitamin C seems like an obvious one, but it is crucial antioxidant and immune support. your body will tell you if you take too much vitamin C, you'll just get the shits. I like a buffered vitamin C Oster C is what we take or and a liposoma one. I like the one by Body Bio. that's a great brand. I love that brand across the board. There's so many other ones, you guys. I'm just trying to keep it somewhat dialed in. It's just not my strength. So vitamin C. Get a liposoma one. Ideally, you want like a high dose a thousand milligram vitamin C. you probably know Elderberry and Echinacea. those are not the same thing. Those are two different plants. they're both excellent for boosting the immune system. I like to be a little bit a lot. Like bang for your buck and combined supplements if I feel like it's formulated right. there are plenty of elderberry and echinacea combined tinctures. Just get the tinctures. Tinture, it's gonna be organic, it's gonna be well sourced. A brand that I like is Global Healing. please don't buy randomly off Amazon. If you have to buy off Amazon, make sure it's from the storefront of the brand. That is not me telling you Amazon's okay. I literally just got done telling you don't buy on Amazon from like a different video. I stand by that. But if you must, because I know you guys are gonna do it anyways, don't do it unless it is absolutely the brand's storefront. And even then I can't get behind it. Okay. Okay, propolis. Are you familiar with propolis? It comes from bees. Bees are literally life. There's a propolis spray. It's an immune support spray. This is actually a specific brand by it's called Beekeepers. I am not affiliated with them. I absolutely love their products. So anything from them is solid for immune support. But the throat spray, the immune support spray, is I should have brought it in here. I didn't. you just shake it and spray. My kids take it, the littlest one takes it, it's sweet, it tastes like it's got honey in it. So propolis is highly immune regulating and Trying to see what else I can name that's on my list without going crazy. it supports the killer cells, it's antioxidant, it increases the anti-inflammatory pathways. It's excellent and it does a lot of good in one or like I think it's three sprays or something like that. Really, really good to have on hand. Again, you can keep it in your car with this, pick your kids up from school, or it if you're at work or whatever, it's great to have on hand. These are things that I literally give my kids and myself every single day. zinc, everybody knows that zinc is part of like what you take when you're getting sick. Don't wait for you to get sick. Don't take too much daily, but definitely take some. Zinc needs to be balanced with copper, so you don't want to like throw your copper off. If you can find a zinc that has copper in it that is well made, that is ideal. liquid zinc, okay. zinc's job essentially will stop the replication of viruses if and when you were exposed, which were exposed all day long. So if it replicates, it means it's like landed and it's like, we're gonna get we're gonna take over, and then the person gets sick. And then your immune system is like pinged and all of your killer cells are like, there's a there's a an invader, we need to amp up the killer's T cells and all of the you know, all the killer guys in your body that are meant to fight which is what mounts in it a fever which is like the body's way of turning up the heat inside your body to flush out the pathogen. Zinc is great baseline because it keeps those mechanisms going but also to increase it if you feel like you're undown or anything like that because anything you've been exposed to it will stop it from replicating. if you're not on a good multiv, I really recommend a good multivitamin for your kids. For us, there's so many gaps in our food and our diet and like the integrity of our food, which is not our fault if you're trying your best. I really commend you for, you know, buying organic. Hopefully you're gluten free. If you're not, that's a whole other podcast. But lastly, and not because it's the last important, it's actually the most important. Probiotics. Probiotics, probiotics, probiotics, postbiotics, prebiotics, probiotics. But what the ones I'm going to recommend, and I am going to recommend specific ones because these are my favorite, the ones that will survive the truck down into your digestion the best. They are the most diverse as far as strains of bacteria that are it's super crucial for healing inflammatory conditions. Again, this is not medical advice, this is just me sharing my knowledge and experience and what we use in my family. so I'm going to recommend a few different probiotics, and you can get all of them or none of them. I love Omnibiotics, first of all. It is geniusly formulated. It is amazing for after antibiotics if you are someone that takes them regularly, or you have taken them, or you have to take them. I am making a part two video of the top remedies if you get sick. So keep an eye out for this. I think you guys are gonna be really surprised what is on that list. These are must haves for if you get sick. So, probiotics, omnibiotics, if you go on their site, you'll see there's like all these options. I really like their gut reset bundle. It's not cheap, but it does, it's a powder that goes into the water and assimilated and bioavailable to the body. It's excellent. Another one that I really love is V visbiome. Visbiome well they're they're sort of targeted to heal inflammatory conditions like I B D, like inflammatory bowel disease. That's not a medical claim on my end. You can go on their site and read visbiome. It's V-I-S-B-I-O-M-E. I've been using them for a really long time. They have intensive probiotics like in a packet and then they have capsules. I go and rotate between the two of them. it's Chris Cresser's product called Protect is the third one that I really like. It comes it's in capsules, not ideal. Comes in a packet, like a packet, like a a sealed packet, and then it's in capsules. I really like how diverse the strains are between the three of those products. You can easily slip these into your children's cereal, yogurt, smoothies. Please do. Please, please do. Our kids need diverse strains to support their gut, especially if you had a c-section baby. If you had a c-section baby, you need your child needs probiotics immediately. why? Because Kids get their first inoculation through the birth canal. And if the baby was not born through the birth canal, because you need to have C-section and they weren't seated at, and seated as being seated is a whole other thing, you can Google it S-C-E-E-D-E. E D seeding the baby. if you're pregnant and you're watching this and you're gonna have a c-section, please consider seeding your baby. let me know if you guys want me to go off on that. But probiotics, y'all, our guts are a problem. They are all pretty much everyone has dysbiosis on some level. If you're gassy, if you're bloated, if you're nervous gut, if you're have heartburn or gastritis, or GERD, or even if you don't, please take probiotics. I guarantee that just through life itself, your gut needs to have that support. And our immune system literally resides in our gut. If you did not know that. Our gut has been considered the second brain and now is being called the first brain. Yeah, because neurotransmitters are built here. I'm pointing to my gut. our hormones are built there, our liver is there, which is responsible for so much. Y'all should be on liver support too. But, anyways, that is my suggestion, my list of suggestions for solid immune support, baseline support. year round but especially during fall winter and going into this crazy winter of bugs so I really hope that helps and look for the second part of this which is my top remedies to naturally kill any virus or well naturally kill any bugs that come through. Okay see you guys soon
