- 0:00Speaker: I see all good people.
- 0:01Speaker: Finding ourselves in another glorious day of being alive, aware, awake, contemplating ourselves, this dialogue, our circumstances, our presence where we might be at physically, spiritually, mentally.
- 0:27Speaker: It's one big stew of life or a pudding.
- 0:32Speaker: It is a mix in which we do have a contribution and is why we are interested in mindful meditation.
- 0:40Speaker: The adding of our own ingredients into this mix, we do change the direction of our ship of life.
- 0:50Speaker: The helm and rudder.
- 0:53Speaker: Guiding our ship's direction as much as we can, understanding it's a lot of influences.
- 1:02Speaker: In fact, there are, if you think about it, an infinite number of influences on every sequential moment of time.
- 1:11Speaker: Infinite.
- 1:12Speaker: There is so much going on we choose to ignore, in my opinion, too much.
- 1:21Speaker: We are leaving some of the important aspects of our being left in some sense undiscovered, unread, unverbalized, untaught, in a sense misunderstood or not understood.
- 1:38Speaker: Because we need to learn about ourselves.
- 1:43Speaker: We need to study.
- 1:44Speaker: We need to practice an awareness of whom and what we are.
- 1:49Speaker: This is mindful meditation, period.
- 1:52Speaker: No more, no less, because it encompasses everything.
- 2:01Speaker: It is not anything other than being here, present.
- 2:09Speaker: Aware of the commonality, the immersion that we are witnessing in this fabric of our universe, atmosphere, primordial energy.
- 2:23Speaker: Feeling this now, feeling one's skin shimmering, feeling the warmth or the heat emanating from whom?
- 2:33Speaker: From you and I.
- 2:34Speaker: We are torches of energy in the atmosphere.
- 2:41Speaker: We are torches of energy.
- 2:46Speaker: If we choose to be aware in our minds, this is in part whom we are.
- 2:56Speaker: I like to say we are bundles of miracles for these kind of reasons, for our DNA.
- 3:06Speaker: For the millions of years it has taken to develop just our legs or our arms, our hands, our feet, our appendages.
- 3:19Speaker: Millions of years of evolution.
- 3:22Speaker: Maybe tens of millions.
- 3:24Speaker: I don't know.
- 3:26Speaker: Being aware of this kind of energy also, because this is a different kind of energy, but it is energy nonetheless.
- 3:36Speaker: It is energy becoming increasingly more complex.
- 3:41Speaker: It is, in a sense, building.
- 3:44Speaker: It is twisting and turning and pulling and shoving energy in different directions and becoming something different again, like a ball of twine.
- 3:56Speaker: What kind of knots will develop over time?
- 4:00Speaker: And this is what's happening.
- 4:05Speaker: The fabric of our universe is what we are talking about being everywhere, just allowing oneself to feel, just being peaceful and calm.
- 4:17Speaker: Not expecting, just relaxing, being receptive to the ambiance of one's own being, of one's warmth emanating from oneself, one's chest slowly rising, pausing, falling, and pausing again.
- 4:37Speaker: Around twenty thousand times every day.
- 4:44Speaker: How often are you thinking of your breath?
- 4:47Speaker: Great meditation, great practice to be consumed, to enjoy, to be playful with, curious about one's own breathing, one's own technique, one's own depth, one's own understanding of what we're doing.
- 5:09Speaker: One's pulse.
- 5:12Speaker: Again.
- 5:13Speaker: So just in one's own physicality, there is a great depth that we can acquire in focusing and concentrating our majesty, our minds, our spirits, our souls, our harmony, our physical selves.
- 5:29Speaker: To what?
- 5:30Speaker: This is a foundation.
- 5:32Speaker: Our DNA, right?
- 5:34Speaker: Is a foundation, our physicality.
- 5:37Speaker: It is our senses, our five senses.
- 5:39Speaker: Without this, we're nothing.
- 5:41Speaker: Without our breath and our pulse, we're nothing.
- 5:43Speaker: So we're talking about the basics here.
- 5:46Speaker: Not civilization, five, ten, fifteen, twenty thousand years.
- 5:50Speaker: We're talking about life itself, evolution.
- 5:54Speaker: We're talking about the stars, our sun, evolution.
- 6:02Speaker: We're talking about the planets, our earth, its evolution.
- 6:09Speaker: And we're talking about life forming upon our earth.
- 6:14Speaker: Our evolution.
- 6:17Speaker: And so recently, within the context of, let's say, twenty thousand years, as far as we know, what happens, man's ability increases more, and we become able to be more than just uh savages or animals of a more lowly form, you know, surviving, to being able to start building in all ways, right?
- 6:43Speaker: Intellectually, physically, uh, etc.
- 6:47Speaker: Here we are, ten, twenty thousand years later, bundles of miracles.
- 6:54Speaker: And we have come to this realization now with our knowledge, with our curiosity, with our insight, experimentation, with our quest for improvement.
- 7:06Speaker: Pretty amazing.
- 7:09Speaker: Being here now, remembering over and over again through one's day, one's breathing, one's pulsing, one's shimmering, heath emanating majesty, one's grace, one's calm, one's sense of receptivity and peace.
- 7:32Speaker: I am here now a bundle of miracles, in your own words, in your own way, humbled by the immensity of what there is to share of what we each have.
- 7:49Speaker: Regardless of what we actually in quote have physically, we each have.
- 7:55Speaker: It is the very air we're speaking about.
- 7:59Speaker: Your next breath we're talking about.
- 8:02Speaker: Space, time.
- 8:05Speaker: These are all gifts, cousins.
- 8:09Speaker: Everything to be thankful for.
- 8:14Speaker: Aware.
- 8:16Speaker: Humble.
- 8:19Speaker: Thankful.
- 8:21Speaker: These characteristics are the most important we share.
- 8:27Speaker: Aware.
- 8:30Speaker: Humble.
- 8:32Speaker: Meaning experience, having wisdom, expansiveness.
- 8:37Speaker: Thankful.
- 8:41Speaker: Knowing life itself is a gift.
- 8:44Speaker: The music continues for another minute.
- 8:50Speaker: Joyful, calm, expansive, knowing thyself. namaste
