Transcript
- 0:28Okay.
- 0:29Hello everyone. Welcome back to another session
- 0:32of Love, your Love Muscle.
- 0:33And as you can see, we back with Erin. Erin Herlihy.
- 0:37Welcome Erin. How are you? Thank you for having me again.
- 0:41People are watching me. Maybe they see I'm tired.
- 0:43It's been a long week for me,
- 0:45so maybe Erin will do all the talking today.
- 0:47We'll see. But before we,
- 0:51before we get started, I want just, just
- 0:53because this is a session, when we talk to Aaron,
- 0:56I have these conversations.
- 0:57We all have quite important topics. Uh, they're interesting.
- 1:02And, uh, if you are like me
- 1:04and, uh, start listening to something
- 1:06and you are on your device, uh, how often do you notice
- 1:10that you're kind of being drawn to, okay, I'm listening.
- 1:13Let me see what, what's on my Instagram. Right?
- 1:16Such a short, shorter things.
- 1:19Uh, it's understandable,
- 1:21but that's not why Erin and I are here.
- 1:24Uh, we want you to listen
- 1:26because there's so much you can learn from our
- 1:29conversations, uh, and uh, and benefit from.
- 1:33So, so, I want you to, I want to invite everybody just
- 1:38to sit down
- 1:40and do a little reset, a little heart, brain coherence,
- 1:43just a few minutes.
- 1:45Just notice how more in tune you are with,
- 1:48with the conversation and, and,
- 1:49and how more easy it is to stay focused.
- 1:55Okay? So just sit straight up, everybody,
- 2:00feet on the ground, lower your shoulders.
- 2:04And if it's the end of the day, just take a nice deep inhale
- 2:07through your nose, fill those lungs with air,
- 2:12and then breathe out through your mouth
- 2:14and letting the day go, let anything go
- 2:18that shouldn't bother you right now.
- 2:21Lower your shoulders, loosen your jaw,
- 2:23then take another nice deep in.
- 2:25Inhale through your nose
- 2:28and out through your mouth.
- 2:30Ah, just let the day go
- 2:34and feel yourself getting centered.
- 2:36Feel yourself here with us, with Aaron
- 2:39and me in this little conversation.
- 2:43Breathe normally.
- 2:47And then to calm your nervous system down.
- 2:49Breathe slower and deeper.
- 2:5425 second inhale, or five second exhale.
- 3:02And even better. So if you make your exhale longer than you
- 3:06inhale,
- 3:13just breathe in a tempo in a way
- 3:17that's comfortable for you, but just slow down your breath.
- 3:24Calm down your nervous system. Slow down your system.
- 3:34Just notice where in your body you
- 3:36feel your breath the most.
- 3:40Maybe you feel your breath the most in your nostrils,
- 3:43the back of your throat or your chest or your tummy.
- 3:51Just focus on that point in your body
- 3:53where you feel your breath the most,
- 4:01and make a mental note of
- 4:03how it feels breathing through that point.
- 4:19Maybe you feel the colder air flowing in
- 4:23the warmer air flowing out.
- 4:32Wonderful. Now, try to move your focus point into the middle
- 4:36of your chest right there, where your heart is.
- 4:44And if you want more help to focus on your heart space,
- 4:47just put your hand on your chest right over your heart.
- 4:54And just imagine now that you are breathing
- 4:57through your heart,
- 5:02just imagine the air flowing in through your nose,
- 5:06going down through your throat, down through your heart
- 5:09and into your belly,
- 5:10and then back up again through your heart and out again
- 5:22in the same nice calm temple.
- 5:41And try to set the intention for yourself to be present
- 5:46throughout this conversations routed post session
- 5:53to pick up useful information
- 5:57that you can use in everyday life.
- 6:05Maybe you want to take notes during the session
- 6:07and want to ask questions afterwards.
- 6:10In the comment field,
- 6:17set the intention to stay focused
- 6:21and be there with us, with Aaron and, and me, ep,
- 6:28and all the other people that are watching or listening in.
- 6:34We all connected
- 6:36and actually we all connected through that field
- 6:39that our heart creates.
- 6:44Beautiful. Now just get back,
- 6:50Breathe normally again, maybe you want
- 6:52to take a nice deep inhale
- 6:55and exhale again, move your body a little bit
- 6:58and just feel how present you are right now.
- 7:01Beautiful. And Erin, you're not the only one yawning
- 7:06during those kind of kind of sessions.
- 7:09So it's interesting, it's that your, let's say yawning is
- 7:14because your brain tries to cool down.
- 7:18Mm-hmm. But I think it's like when your body re relaxes,
- 7:21your brain relaxes as well,
- 7:23and it's like getting that little extra fresh air.
- 7:27And then ha and finally, you know, and that's thing focused
- 7:31because all sorts of things, when you ask people
- 7:34to get centered, they really, they focus inwards
- 7:38to their self, to the present situation
- 7:41and all the things
- 7:42that they're having going on in their brain at the same time
- 7:45that they want to take, have control over and fall away.
- 7:49And their brain is like, ah, stretching nice. Yeah.
- 7:54So you're actually right, actually introduced. Yeah.
- 7:57So I have some friends in the southwest
- 8:00of the United States,
- 8:02and they do a lot of breath meditation.
- 8:05And one of the things that you'll come
- 8:07to find is when you yawn,
- 8:09when you take in those deep breaths, it's getting
- 8:12that fresh oxygen, rich blood
- 8:14to circulate even further into the body.
- 8:17When you're taking those shallow breaths,
- 8:19it doesn't have the emphasis to go to the ends
- 8:22of your fingertips, your toes
- 8:24and whatever in your body is not getting oxygen starts
- 8:27to deteriorate, which
- 8:28that goes right along with your energy.
- 8:30So yes, it's a multitude of things.
- 8:33Your, you, your brain's trying to cool off.
- 8:35Your body is trying to get that oxygen to the very tips
- 8:39of your fingers, your toes, every organ,
- 8:41every cell inside the body.
- 8:43It wants to be, you know, witness.
- 8:46It wants to be alive, it wants to circulate.
- 8:48But not only that, when you take in that deep,
- 8:52beautiful breath that you have us take, it gets you
- 8:56so focused in on your body, it gets you grounded so
- 8:59that you can be in the present moment.
- 9:01So in a lot of the work that you do
- 9:04and some of the work that I do is it's
- 9:07that motion of awareness.
- 9:09So it's massively essential what it is that you do in that
- 9:15Breathing is the most important thing we do.
- 9:18And, uh, breathing in a good way
- 9:21and know what, uh, what what breath can do to you,
- 9:25what you're oxygen as your body is so important.
- 9:29Yeah, absolutely.
- 9:31Um, if you're wondering who is Aaron
- 9:35and who is s we did a podcast, uh,
- 9:39a few weeks back, and I want to just, uh, say to you,
- 9:44I will post a link, uh, underneath the, the description
- 9:48of the podcast as well to that, uh, to that episode.
- 9:52Uh, tune in there in the first, uh, four me five minutes,
- 9:56you'll learn exactly all about Erin.
- 9:59And of course, underneath this podcast as well,
- 10:03you will get all the links to social media that Erin has
- 10:07where you can reach out to her,
- 10:08where you can ask questions, et cetera.
- 10:11So it's a bit like every time we're introducing ourselves
- 10:15takes away time and people, people
- 10:18who are watching all the time, they know,
- 10:19they know us by now.
- 10:20Yeah. So, exactly.
- 10:24Um, last time we talked about how powerful we are
- 10:28as human beings, and I was thinking before we,
- 10:33before I tuned in, uh, with you here on Zoom, uh, Aaron,
- 10:37about who are we, uh, who are you as a person
- 10:41and, and, and how do I feel about who I am
- 10:45as a person or human being?
- 10:47I, I, I tend to say like I, I tend to see us
- 10:51as human beings that are using
- 10:57our full potential, like with your work
- 11:01in coaching, with your knowledge about also psychology
- 11:07and, and, and also the more spiritual side of things.
- 11:12And like we talked about how powerful we are,
- 11:15and we are going to talk today about, uh, manifestation
- 11:18and a law of assumption as well.
- 11:21Um, we use this in everyday life, right?
- 11:24Uh, so I almost tend to say like I'm, I'm utilizing
- 11:29all functionality that I know about a human being has.
- 11:34Mm-hmm. And,
- 11:35and I feel when I started, personally,
- 11:38when I started doing this work, especially self-regulation
- 11:40and meditation, because that, that taps into that awareness
- 11:46of who your whole being, not only your five senses
- 11:51or the physical world,
- 11:52but I mean, that's, that's only a 0.5
- 11:56to 1% of what is reality actually, if you say,
- 12:00if you look at it with a, a physicist, uh, kind of view.
- 12:05And, and being able to utilize more than that
- 12:09and also get results from that.
- 12:11I feel I, when I started doing this work,
- 12:13I always felt like I'm more whole.
- 12:17Not that I don't get sick or anything like that,
- 12:19but I feel like more whole as a human being.
- 12:22What do you feel or think about that, Erin?
- 12:25Oh, goodness. In getting into this work, you do feel
- 12:31a lot more whole.
- 12:32And yes, you're a sense of humanity, yes, that connection
- 12:36to other people, but also you start to become very
- 12:41self-aware of yourself, your life, your experiences,
- 12:45what you've been through, what you haven't worked on.
- 12:48And every single aspect of it gets brought up to you to
- 12:54witness and to decide to transmute into healing energy
- 12:58or to whatever it is that you would need at the time.
- 13:01So when you do say yes to this work, when you do say yes
- 13:05to this path, which everyone who would be listening to it,
- 13:09anyone who would find their way to it, it they will,
- 13:13they will find their way.
- 13:15They are in their own way saying yes, in that moment.
- 13:18They're going to start to notice all
- 13:20of these unique things about them.
- 13:22So, um, it's, it's not just
- 13:27that it makes you feel whole, it shows you everything
- 13:31that has been a strength of yours, what has been an excuse.
- 13:36It puts you out in front of yourself in such a unbridled,
- 13:41undeniable, authentic way that, um, you have
- 13:46to kind of see yourself in that new light.
- 13:49And it's not like you have to see yourself as superhuman,
- 13:51because it's not like anyone is better or worse than anyone.
- 13:55It's like taking away just this basic concept
- 13:59of you are just walking through an experience in this world.
- 14:03You are in fact the experience of the world.
- 14:08You are not separate from the sunlight
- 14:11that's coming towards you, the shadows
- 14:12that you cast upon life, the neighbors that you have,
- 14:15the pets that you choose to have.
- 14:17Everything that you are, everything
- 14:19that you witness is in collaboration with itself.
- 14:22Does that make sense? Yeah.
- 14:24It, we, it's all connected.
- 14:26And, and that's, that's the beauty of it.
- 14:28When you realize that
- 14:29and become more aware of that, like, oh, wow.
- 14:32And, and everything, uh, like we talked about last time
- 14:35or the state of being,
- 14:36and we most likely will go into this today as well.
- 14:40You, your, your state of being determines
- 14:43how you experience your reality
- 14:46and also what you pick up, um, more
- 14:49of, right?
- 14:51Because def your state of being the frequency you are in,
- 14:55uh, both psychologically
- 14:57and energetically, you are, you are getting, um, you get you
- 15:02on your path through life, through the,
- 15:04throughout the day even you are getting confronted with
- 15:09things that match that state of being you are in.
- 15:13And and that's why I want to talk about the law as
- 15:17of assumption and a law of attraction as well,
- 15:19and manifestation, because that's the whole
- 15:22everything together, it's all overlaps.
- 15:25It's partially the same.
- 15:27Uh, it's just different way of, of, of, of, of,
- 15:30of explaining things.
- 15:32I I say them, uh, it,
- 15:36it all comes together in this beautiful way that, okay,
- 15:40my frequency, the way I feel is how the way,
- 15:46partially how the way other people see me
- 15:49and influence how they see me.
- 15:52And it's also how the world reacts to me.
- 15:56Um, and that it's, if it's, if that sounds spiritual,
- 16:00it's actually not because just, just become,
- 16:05just get up in the morning and go to work
- 16:07and decide to be a grateful person
- 16:11that day and show gratitude.
- 16:1321st of September was World's Gratitude Day,
- 16:16and I've been talking about gratitude ever since.
- 16:19Um, but it's suddenly, it's the key to manifestation.
- 16:22I always say, because when you are in a state of gratitude,
- 16:26you will naturally come across things throughout the day
- 16:30to be grateful for even if something negative happens,
- 16:36when you are in a state of gratitude,
- 16:38you have that frequency.
- 16:40You, you, you, you notice a that sucks,
- 16:43but your experience of it is that it sucks less
- 16:47because you have a state of gratitude
- 16:49and tends to be more grateful for it than you would be
- 16:53otherwise if you were not.
- 16:55So it's less, you experience it as less negative.
- 17:01So I fully agree with that.
- 17:04In addition to that, it,
- 17:05I do feel like gratitude is not just about, um,
- 17:12the, it's not just about good.
- 17:13It's what commands your focus.
- 17:16It's what stands out above everything else
- 17:18that is in vibration with you.
- 17:21So, um, what is it that you are grateful for
- 17:25that you keep chiming into, that you keep, uh, seeing
- 17:29that is like the good or the challenge around you?
- 17:33Okay, so yes, when you wake up, you choose how you are going
- 17:38to preset your day.
- 17:40What is it that you want to experience?
- 17:42What is it that you wanna feel that you wanna see?
- 17:44And generally it's a, it's a, you want to start the day off
- 17:50with a positive op.
- 17:52Well, optimism. It's optimism.
- 17:54I can't really fathom somebody who wakes up
- 17:57and just wants to make the entire day a nightmare.
- 17:59You wanna know, I'm gonna treat myself today.
- 18:02I'm gonna see how much I can hate today,
- 18:05how much I can hurt things, how many people I can tick off.
- 18:09I'm looking forward to flipping everybody off in traffic.
- 18:13I can't imagine that that would be something
- 18:16that people wanna have as a preset
- 18:18to their day in the world.
- 18:20And it's not just that there's going
- 18:25to be things that either s uh,
- 18:29open the, the pathway for that gratitude that's going
- 18:33to fall in line with that optimism
- 18:36that you wanna start the day.
- 18:38Um, did you ever see that sleeper hit of 2008?
- 18:43Uh, the Secret, I know you've heard pr, you've,
- 18:46I know everybody did.
- 18:48Like it's not, that was a tip
- 18:50of the iceberg. Did you ever see it?
- 18:54I read it, I seen it,
- 18:55and yeah, like you say, it's the tip of the iceberg.
- 18:57It doesn't tell you everything.
- 18:59Did you ever see the follow up to that?
- 19:01What the bleep do we know? It's actually called bleep.
- 19:04They don't, okay. Yeah.
- 19:05So we have all of these, um,
- 19:10oh God, it's that wolf guy.
- 19:12Uh, it's, it's a type of,
- 19:17it's not a psychologist, it's like a physiologist
- 19:20or something to that effect.
- 19:22But, uh, they do all these studies on energy.
- 19:25And in the secret, there was this, uh, instance
- 19:29where this woman, she woke up
- 19:31and she flipping stubbed her foot getting outta bed,
- 19:35and it was, it was awful.
- 19:37And have you ever woken up and you just hit your foot
- 19:40and it's instant pain the moment that you wake up.
- 19:43Mm-hmm. How did that set the tone for the day,
- 19:46and how did you turn it around?
- 19:48Were you able to turn it around?
- 19:51How can you take a challenge that's put in front
- 19:54of an intention and transmute it?
- 19:57I think that's kind of what I wanted to get
- 19:58to at that point in time.
- 20:02So let me ask you, how can, how can you start off
- 20:05with an intention, see the next step after that,
- 20:09and either accept it or transmute it into something else?
- 20:13What has been sub's experience with that?
- 20:17Uh, when I get up in the morning,
- 20:19and I have this, I, I, I, I haven't, I haven't hurt my foot,
- 20:25so I have almost fallen out of bed once, but, uh, but,
- 20:29but I, I like everybody else, especially on a Monday,
- 20:34uh, I like, oh, I have to get into work.
- 20:38But I overwrite that
- 20:39because I mean, even if that's,
- 20:42that's why I do my morning meditation.
- 20:44And, and I noticed more and more people doing that.
- 20:48They, they have a morning routine where they just have,
- 20:52just use five minutes for themselves to, to, to set their
- 20:56state of being, to set their intention
- 20:58for the day, basically.
- 21:00And that's what does it for me.
- 21:02I mean, because I know from experience
- 21:06and everybody else will experience that, that, okay,
- 21:08when I get out of bed with a bad mood
- 21:10and I drag that with me throughout the day, it's not going
- 21:14to be a good day, right?
- 21:16Mm-hmm. Uh, and, and, and for me, I'm always concerned
- 21:20not when I, I worked a lot with, with cancer patients, like,
- 21:25you know, from the, from a last conversation, uh,
- 21:29I don't want that mood to, uh,
- 21:33to be transferred to my patients.
- 21:37That's not, that's no help for them.
- 21:39I mean, I'm, I'm not, that's not my work.
- 21:42So I have to, uh, I won't say trench mood.
- 21:47I have, I have it as knowledge, right?
- 21:49Oh, today I got up, we're in a less pleasant mood,
- 21:54but I reset that meditation reset, like just what we did
- 21:59a few minutes ago before we started this session.
- 22:01It's so important, uh, to do
- 22:04because you reset, you refocus,
- 22:08and all the things that you were busy with, like
- 22:11what I said, your Instagram, whatever, that's
- 22:13what you also can have in the morning.
- 22:14Oh, I have to check my mails, et cetera.
- 22:16Like, no, don't do that. Mm-hmm.
- 22:18Just, you just reset time for yourself. I'm here right now.
- 22:22What do I want to bring to my day?
- 22:27How do I want to be treated? How do I want to treat others?
- 22:31How, what, what state of being do I want?
- 22:33How can I be both pleasant to myself
- 22:37and others and be productive?
- 22:39Mm-hmm. And that is so immensely true.
- 22:43And the thing is, I look on both sides of this.
- 22:46And while you're saying that's true,
- 22:48and you have to take five minutes for yourself,
- 22:51you'll find situations
- 22:52and people will be like, well, I don't have five minutes.
- 22:54I have to get up and go, all right, well,
- 22:57you could get up five minutes earlier, can't you?
- 22:59Well, I can't 'cause I need my sleep. Okay?
- 23:01So what you're telling me is your experience,
- 23:06you feel limited in your decisions,
- 23:08and you feel like you have to accept the reality
- 23:12that you are working and running on other people's dimes.
- 23:16You time your efforts is all to be utility to everyone else,
- 23:21and you are just here to be whatever for somebody else.
- 23:26And then the fact is, that is such a limiting mental belief,
- 23:30and that is actually where their,
- 23:33where their assumption is, that's
- 23:36who they see themselves as.
- 23:37That's what they have forfeited, I guess, their power into,
- 23:42I'm going to do this because I don't know any other way,
- 23:45or I am not allowed any other way,
- 23:48and I am, I'm here to challenge that.
- 23:50You can, they may not like it.
- 23:52You may get some blow back on that,
- 23:54but it's not for you to just fold
- 23:58underneath that pressure.
- 24:00This is where it's, is this gonna be my excuse
- 24:04or is this gonna be my determination?
- 24:07You may not wanna get up five minutes early
- 24:09because that snooze alarm is so immensely attractive,
- 24:14but you are going to have to learn to put through
- 24:18that discipline.
- 24:20Discipline is not always gonna
- 24:22to be something that you wanna do.
- 24:23And it leads to this idea of somebody faking it.
- 24:26That's the imposter syndrome.
- 24:29And that's the thing, as you are developing a new pattern,
- 24:33I, I don't care how small it is, a new way of being.
- 24:36Again, don't care how small it is.
- 24:38You are deviating from these deep grooves
- 24:42of programming within yourself that you have either agreed
- 24:45to or that you have, uh, that have been pressured on you.
- 24:49And you're going to have resistance on that.
- 24:51But it's not that it's not right for you
- 24:53or that you're not meant to do this.
- 24:55You have to decide if this is something
- 24:58that you truly do want for yourself,
- 25:00and then act on that, which,
- 25:02that puts the power back in your hands.
- 25:05Okay, no, I really wanna do this.
- 25:06I'm gonna try, I'm gonna keep trying.
- 25:07If I fail, I'm gonna try again.
- 25:09And eventually, I don't care how long it is, it is going
- 25:13to click into place, you will be begrudgingly getting up
- 25:17that extra five minutes early,
- 25:19but you're going to start to have an easier time
- 25:22after a while, and then it's gonna become just as easy
- 25:25as if it were already set
- 25:27before, in the while back when you weren't doing this.
- 25:31You start in a place of just
- 25:34complete fresh platform for you.
- 25:37It is up for you to decide if you wanna go through with it.
- 25:40Do you get what I'm saying? Yeah.
- 25:43And I would say it's, it actually quite natural
- 25:46to not wanting to do is
- 25:48because when I think back about my kids
- 25:50and maybe those that are, are watching
- 25:52and listening, they have kids by themselves, for themselves.
- 25:55Uh, my kids didn't want
- 25:58to have their clothes on in the morning.
- 26:00Yeah, right. It's like, ah, I don't care.
- 26:02I want to just go up and play. Right? Yeah.
- 26:05And, and it's, and, and, and,
- 26:07but you, you, you learn that you how
- 26:10to take your clothes on in the morning yourself, you mm-hmm.
- 26:14You learn how to brush your teeth in the morning
- 26:16and in the evenings.
- 26:17You didn't want to do that before either.
- 26:20It's like, what's a waste of time? Mm-hmm.
- 26:22So, okay, now you're an adult,
- 26:28but you can still learn, right?
- 26:30You can still say, oh,
- 26:31that I can't get up five minutes early,
- 26:35but what if I go to bed five minutes early
- 26:38and then also get up five minutes earlier in the morning?
- 26:41I just move my whole night, five minutes is I, I would like
- 26:46to get to, to bed five minutes earlier
- 26:49because I'm tired in the evening.
- 26:50Oh, okay. Well,
- 26:51naturally you would just move your whole night,
- 26:54five minutes, and all
- 26:55of a sudden you're awake five minutes earlier
- 26:57and you, what you, what you didn't want
- 27:01to do in the evening, you can now do in the, in the morning
- 27:04because you're awake
- 27:06and ready to, to take a little reset a little time
- 27:08for yourself to, to prepare yourself for the day.
- 27:13And you're going to meet in those instances, people
- 27:17who are actually going to have
- 27:18to decide if they are that person.
- 27:20And it's not a bad thing.
- 27:22So it's like, okay, no, this is stupid. I don't wanna do it.
- 27:26I just wanna sleep in. I just, I want to be able to do this.
- 27:30But like we were talking about before,
- 27:32before we're on this, you are going to start
- 27:35to see the difference in people
- 27:38and how they want to start being more for themselves.
- 27:42It's not, again, better or worse, it's not better or worse.
- 27:45It's just that different caliber.
- 27:47You know, how people do like this work routine, this diet,
- 27:51this exercise routine.
- 27:53And they'll have like the cheat days,
- 27:56the cheat days when they're like, okay, now I can relax.
- 27:59I can do what I really wanna do.
- 28:01What they really wanna do that is still the base of
- 28:03who they are and this,
- 28:05and what they're behaving
- 28:07with throughout the rest of the days.
- 28:09That's who they aspire to be.
- 28:10But there needs to be a transition from who they are into
- 28:13what they wanna be with less of a, with less
- 28:17of a shift, if that makes sense.
- 28:20So eventually that person is not going
- 28:22to just stay on that routine.
- 28:24They're either going to be all about that new life
- 28:27that they're stepping into,
- 28:29or they're just going to start being like, I want
- 28:31that extra day off, the additional day off.
- 28:32And then they're going to slip back into patterns
- 28:35of behavior that are enabling for themselves,
- 28:39but it's not getting them to where they wanna be.
- 28:41So they learn to want less, they learn to want to do less.
- 28:45They learn to want to, well, I don't wanna say be immobile
- 28:50or anything like that, because it's not like that,
- 28:52but it's just
- 28:56take away from the growing in their life.
- 28:59Yeah.
- 29:01Not just stagnate or just stay the same.
- 29:04Mm-hmm. Um, I, I, I would, what I find, uh, interesting
- 29:08or challenge is I was thinking,
- 29:10how can I make it more fun mm-hmm.
- 29:14For people like, uh, turn things into more of a game.
- 29:18Like they, people get more engaged into changing.
- 29:22Mm-hmm. I think that that would be a great part
- 29:26because one of the things that you start to see with others
- 29:30as they move on to different energy levels in life,
- 29:33they think they have to present a certain way.
- 29:36And the thing is, the world needs you to kind
- 29:39of be uniquely yourself.
- 29:40And before everything was compartmentalized and structured
- 29:44before you, you were this abstract piece of art
- 29:48that was just kind of designing its way through the world.
- 29:51You need to take that design and elevate it up with you.
- 29:53Does that make sense? Yep.
- 29:54Yep. Absolutely.
- 29:57So with the unique character that you are,
- 30:00with the life experience that you have had,
- 30:03which it's different
- 30:04for all 8 billion people on this planet,
- 30:06from the 8 billion different perspectives that we have,
- 30:09what is unique
- 30:11and so special about you that you can still have like this
- 30:16elevation in the vibration of what it is that you want
- 30:19to experience in the own unique way that you can?
- 30:23So that's, that breaks it down even more.
- 30:26It's this big convoluted, um, yeah,
- 30:30I'm gonna say this energy field, it is
- 30:32that sense of oneness.
- 30:34Yeah, it is. And this is where I start to kind
- 30:38of get into the chaos theory of it,
- 30:40because it is the sense of oneness
- 30:43and its uniqueness on the same breast.
- 30:46It is the sense of having these different levels
- 30:49and then having the reach up
- 30:51and that you just see something that is on level
- 30:54with you that is different.
- 30:56And, um, I know that this is gonna sound just as weird
- 30:59as it is, but everything is,
- 31:01and it isn't at the same time, it is the zeros
- 31:04and the ones that you get to experience in life.
- 31:07Is it going to be your on switch?
- 31:08Is this going to be your Yes.
- 31:10And what is it that you are saying no to? Does that compute?
- 31:15I know how it can sound
- 31:16because it just, it's an experience, it's a perception.
- 31:20It's a decision of awareness.
- 31:25And the, um, I would say,
- 31:31um, uh, this, the, I would say that's, that's
- 31:35how life is, right?
- 31:37And also, we all experience our lives in different ways.
- 31:42Mm-hmm. Uh, because we have our culture, our history,
- 31:47what we've learned at school,
- 31:48what we've learned from our parents.
- 31:50Uh, we all have the world according to me, right?
- 31:55You have your world according to you.
- 31:56You are, you're, you are born
- 31:59and raised in a different side of the globe,
- 32:02uh, me as well.
- 32:04So we have different culture, different perspective,
- 32:06and that's what, what this, what fun part is,
- 32:09I think we talked about it last time as well,
- 32:11but the, the, instead of, uh, looking at it
- 32:14as being different, we should combine all those experience
- 32:18because that's what we, that's what connects us, right?
- 32:22When we combine all the experience and combine all our views
- 32:28and not look at it as being, uh, different and,
- 32:31and necessarily something bad, but just as,
- 32:34and as be open to it and,
- 32:36and try to understand it from different perspectives.
- 32:40It gives you such a more broader view of the world
- 32:43and life in itself.
- 32:44It's it, which I think is helpful in itself
- 32:46to navigate through true life.
- 32:49Uh, yeah, we did touch on it.
- 32:51It was either the big mosaic painting
- 32:53or the quilt, the very thread that you are, that makes you
- 32:56so unique in what your place is in the world.
- 32:59Hmm. And it stands just as true as it does now.
- 33:02So one of the things is, is what do you want?
- 33:07Do you like who you are in life?
- 33:09Do you like what you have or what you want in life?
- 33:11If the answer is yes, then you keep doing what you're doing.
- 33:15If not, then what are the changes that you need to make
- 33:19to get on a higher vibration, to see things on
- 33:21that higher vibration that are just so simple for you
- 33:24to reach out and grab?
- 33:25Because okay, let's think about it this way.
- 33:28What is your vibration? What stands out to you the most?
- 33:31What is your day to day for you?
- 33:33For me, it's like you wake up
- 33:36and I hit that snooze at least once.
- 33:38I do, no matter how hard I try, it's,
- 33:41it's a reflex at this point.
- 33:43And I'm that person who wants to have
- 33:44that additional sweet extra 10 minutes of sleep.
- 33:48But then my favorite thing to do is to go make that cup
- 33:53of coffee, because I can smell the aroma.
- 33:55It is such a simple pleasure.
- 33:56And I know exactly the way that I like to make my coffee.
- 33:59And the exact way that I like to enjoy it,
- 34:02and the exact time
- 34:03that I'm having it is when I'm having my first session
- 34:06with my first client, where she's in a different part
- 34:08of the state and we're doing a morning exercise routine.
- 34:13Like that is the person that I am.
- 34:15I wanna wake up and I want to start the day with something
- 34:19that is simple, that is going to allow me
- 34:21to be helpful to somebody else.
- 34:23My sons are old enough to
- 34:25where one is a sophomore in college
- 34:26and he gets himself ready for school,
- 34:29and the other one he doesn't take much to get ready.
- 34:32So this, it's like, it's something that is pretty automatic.
- 34:36Everybody is in their comfortable routines,
- 34:39and it's like a baseline of having comfort to start the day,
- 34:43to be of service,
- 34:47and to have a time of interpersonal education, a time of,
- 34:52you know, having chaotic busyness
- 34:54and seeing how far, uh, you can reach out to others to be
- 34:58of service, to be of help to them,
- 35:00because that is work that feels so validating.
- 35:02That's work that makes my soul feel like it's enriched
- 35:05and that it's filled with life.
- 35:07And it's just to see somebody
- 35:09and to know that their transition
- 35:11and something clicks into place
- 35:13and that highlight in their eyes, that is a vibration.
- 35:16I love to witness change in others.
- 35:21So my preset, my vibration
- 35:23of everything is looking for evolution.
- 35:27It's absolutely a passion.
- 35:30So if I were to ask you,
- 35:32what is your preset, what is your routine?
- 35:35What does this say about you? Who are you to this?
- 35:38Is this something that you like?
- 35:40And do you still wanna pursue it?
- 35:41If the answer is yes, then you follow that.
- 35:43If not, then what needs to change?
- 35:45So, Seb, what is your preset? Who are you in this world?
- 35:49How does that feel for you?
- 35:51Almost the same, except for the coffee
- 35:53and the snooze button, because, uh,
- 35:56if I hit the SNOO button,
- 35:57I don't trust the snooze button to wake me up again.
- 35:59So I get up straight away,
- 36:03Oh, Get up straight away.
- 36:05I actually, I, I, I either lay down, I shouldn't do that,
- 36:08but I do that quite often.
- 36:10But normally I should sit down in my bed,
- 36:14close my eyes again, not fall asleep,
- 36:16and just, okay, which, what, what thoughts do I have now?
- 36:20Just check in with myself.
- 36:21And I, I've made that, I've made that my routine
- 36:24because that's what I did.
- 36:27Uh, from that moment, I decided to change myself
- 36:30because I was in a situation where I was maybe losing my job
- 36:34and I wasn't pretty happy with myself
- 36:36and the world around me.
- 36:37So that routine worked so well for me that I just kept that.
- 36:42And it's also, therefore, I also recommend people
- 36:44to do a short self check in self-regulation,
- 36:48meditation, whatever you want to call it.
- 36:50Uh, and, and like you, um, I, I,
- 36:55I am a service to the people, to the world, to,
- 37:00to myself, because that's essentially the same, right?
- 37:04We all together connected.
- 37:05And even if you feel, even if you do something
- 37:08for somebody else, uh, there is this mirror effect.
- 37:11It affects you as well.
- 37:13Um, and I have the same experience as you.
- 37:15Like, if you have a client in the morning
- 37:17or later the day, doesn't matter.
- 37:19The moment you see things, click with them
- 37:23and oh, and you see them.
- 37:24That's like, like having a baby
- 37:26that takes its first steps, right?
- 37:28And, and, and nails it right away. It's like, yes.
- 37:31I mean, to be happy, uh, on behalf
- 37:34of others is such a great feeling.
- 37:37Uh, and, and,
- 37:38and see people get it, that it gives so much gratitude
- 37:41and satisfaction, uh, that that's what I also, I'm
- 37:45so excited about and, and live for.
- 37:48Uh, and even in, in, in the corporate world,
- 37:51it is the same if you work for a company, uh,
- 37:54where you sit in the office all day, there is still some,
- 37:57you be you, you're being of, of, of service,
- 38:01uh, no matter what.
- 38:04That's, that's like, you're not, of course, uh,
- 38:08getting your paycheck is important in this world, right?
- 38:13But that isn't the only thing you getting up in the morning,
- 38:18uh, go to work, be with your colleagues,
- 38:21do something together that
- 38:26I hope, I hope for your, you
- 38:28and your company, is something beneficial for the world, uh,
- 38:33is that service you are providing.
- 38:36Yeah. So, yeah. And even if mm-hmm.
- 38:40Inter interactions with your colleagues.
- 38:42I mean, uh, for me, the first time I heard I, I got a,
- 38:47a sign of gratitude or a compliment from a colleague.
- 38:50It was so enlightening for me, a colleague that said to me,
- 38:54oh, sep, it's so nice to work together with you,
- 38:56because then everything goes more smoothly.
- 38:58Like, everything just flows. I said, oh, okay.
- 39:02Just, just those small kind of hints,
- 39:04just a little compliment here, a little notice, like, oh,
- 39:09I know, I noticed that, but people feel seen.
- 39:13Mm-hmm. Even those small gestures that give
- 39:15so much in return and just decide to do that.
- 39:19You can, you can get up in the morning
- 39:22and you have no clue what you are going to do.
- 39:25Just say to yourself, set the intention today.
- 39:27When I'm at work and I find something positive I see
- 39:32with a colleague, or I want to thank them in some way, uh,
- 39:37uh, notify them that I see them, I,
- 39:41that I appreciate why that they're here
- 39:43with me, that we work together.
- 39:45Just a little gesture,
- 39:47just two words may be all it takes.
- 39:51And, and just notice how that feels. Yeah.
- 39:54And that's already being of service.
- 39:57You're absolutely right. And it's so important
- 39:59to be validated.
- 40:01I don't care who you are or
- 40:02how proud you feel like you have to be.
- 40:04If you want people to just ignore you, that's not
- 40:07genuinely the case.
- 40:08There's a reason why you're feeling that way,
- 40:11but words without any kind of action,
- 40:14you just feel like you're being manipulate
- 40:16and manipulated and lied to.
- 40:18If you have just action with no words,
- 40:21it makes a person feel invisible.
- 40:23When you have action
- 40:25and words, it feels completely validating
- 40:29and witnessed in your life.
- 40:32You have mattered. You have a voice, you have a place.
- 40:36And that's kind of what everybody is wanting,
- 40:38either on a conscious or a subconscious level.
- 40:41You have people who want to just be away from everyone
- 40:45and do their own little thing
- 40:46and have that validation in themselves that they don't have
- 40:49to be bothered by another human being.
- 40:51And they have that for their own specific reasons
- 40:54that they have been.
- 40:56So, uh, the reasons are going to vary.
- 40:59But for all intents
- 41:00and purposes, uh, for this instance, a person
- 41:03who would wanna be away from everyone and everything,
- 41:05and just have their own little small place in the world,
- 41:07in the woods where nobody bothers them, that's
- 41:09because this person has either been taken too much,
- 41:12or they have, well, not that they have taken too much,
- 41:15but people have either invalidated
- 41:20or sucked the life force outta them too much,
- 41:22where they don't trust that people
- 41:23aren't going to do it again.
- 41:25They just wanna be isolated alone
- 41:26and recuperate and heal themselves.
- 41:28Or you have all the people who want all the acknowledgement,
- 41:32all of the recognition,
- 41:34because it's something that they had not had.
- 41:37And they are looking for that sense
- 41:39of fulfillment in themselves.
- 41:40And it's okay to want attention.
- 41:43It's okay to wanna be witnessed.
- 41:44We are cohabiting creatures.
- 41:46We're not meant to be isolated
- 41:48and away from absolutely everyone
- 41:50and everything, even though sometimes that we want to.
- 41:53So when a coworker is telling you, God, everything just runs
- 41:57so smoothly with when you're here, you know, I don't know
- 42:00what we would do without you that proves to you
- 42:03that your actions and your place of service is one
- 42:06of the most helpful things,
- 42:08and that nobody is taking it for granted.
- 42:11And that makes your sense of purpose, your sense of energy
- 42:15and desire to do that, to be even more so,
- 42:18it's feeling in alignment
- 42:19with purpose. Does that make sense?
- 42:22Yeah. And it, and it can transform, uh,
- 42:25the work environments completely.
- 42:27Mm-hmm. Uh, especially in high stress environments.
- 42:31Uh, it gives team spirit,
- 42:33it gives recognition to each one another.
- 42:35And you, and you also feel less alone.
- 42:38And you notice you're working together towards a goal.
- 42:43And I love, love, love that you say that
- 42:44and that togetherness,
- 42:45because that is raising up that, that sense
- 42:49of not only the law of assumption,
- 42:51but that sense of oneness.
- 42:52If everybody is building each other up in an authentic way,
- 42:56then the entire vibration of the environment comes up,
- 43:00and that goes into the next crowd of people,
- 43:02because it is bearing witness to
- 43:04what it is that you are doing.
- 43:05And that starts to become elevated.
- 43:08And one of the things that goes with
- 43:10that is the genuine authenticness of, if we're listening
- 43:15or witnessing or interacting with something
- 43:17that is probably not the best,
- 43:19but we're saying that it is, that's going to start
- 43:22to show immense pitfalls immediately,
- 43:25because it's not anything that is being worked on.
- 43:28It's just being yes to death.
- 43:29It's an echo chamber of, I don't wanna say toxic positivity,
- 43:34but it's an echo chamber of delusion.
- 43:37So if you have something where everybody's rising up,
- 43:41and then we have over here, uh, most of it rising up,
- 43:46and then there's this little part that's like, no, we'll,
- 43:48we'll drag you along with this.
- 43:49No, come on, you'll get it eventually.
- 43:51And it's still not doing the work.
- 43:52You're going to have to see that for what that part is
- 43:56and address it immediately like this.
- 43:59And this is what this is not doing.
- 44:01This is what this needs to be done.
- 44:03And you have to decide if this is truly for you
- 44:07or if you would feel different in a different vibrational
- 44:09wavelength or a different area, different compartment.
- 44:12So it really does not, it's not a level of separation,
- 44:18but if something isn't authentically on level with you,
- 44:21it's either going to have to step up
- 44:23or it's going to have to, to step aside into something else,
- 44:27because that will not be sustainable in the long run.
- 44:31It can be there for a little bit in the hopes
- 44:33of something is going to be transmuted,
- 44:35but it's not going to be able to move
- 44:38as forward as you would like. Does that make sense?
- 44:40Yeah, exactly. Uh, yeah, that's the whole dynamic.
- 44:44But, uh, I wanna go back a little bit about,
- 44:47uh, law of assumption.
- 44:49Yes. Because people might be wondering,
- 44:51when are we going to talk about that?
- 44:53You said the words a couple of times,
- 44:55but that's actually what we, what, uh, are you,
- 44:58do you agree when I say what we've been doing now so far,
- 45:01and also in other talks,
- 45:03and we'll, mostly likely do in other,
- 45:05and in common talks as well, is
- 45:08that we change people's assumptions.
- 45:11Yes. And your job in this world is to
- 45:16see your assumption and to decide what it is that you are.
- 45:19If I tell you not to think of an orange car,
- 45:23you're gonna think of an orange car.
- 45:24If I tell you, don't look for an orange car,
- 45:26you're gonna start to see orange cars pop around
- 45:29because your brain works like a colander,
- 45:32and it's going to start to filter out what feels like it's
- 45:37authentically you.
- 45:39Yep. What, what is authentically called to it, what
- 45:41what it's supposed to pay attention to.
- 45:44You become what it is that you pay attention to the most.
- 45:47Your reality starts to become what you pay attention
- 45:51to the most, for better or for worse.
- 45:54So you'll have situations
- 45:57and people who are thinking about death disease,
- 46:00and they, they can't think about it.
- 46:01They can't go near it.
- 46:03And suddenly it's this, oh, crap,
- 46:05something real is happening.
- 46:07I can't believe this is happening.
- 46:08I've been watching out for this whole time. Yeah.
- 46:10You've been watching out for this whole time,
- 46:14and you should have been living your life.
- 46:16You should have been, you know, doing your best
- 46:19and not living in that fear state.
- 46:21There's so many elements to that.
- 46:24So in the law assumption, what is it that you,
- 46:27that feels the most natural that you see?
- 46:29What is it that you pay the most attention to?
- 46:32You get it is, am I, am I explaining this? Well,
- 46:36You do. And I want
- 46:37to add to it, like, when people ask like,
- 46:39does the laws as assumption work?
- 46:42I say, yeah, because just look at the world around you.
- 46:44Mm-hmm. Because we all assume things,
- 46:49uh, to be true.
- 46:52Uh, and, uh, and that also becomes our truth.
- 46:56It's like we said in the start, the world, according to me,
- 47:00or the world according to you,
- 47:02we all have our different experiences based on that.
- 47:05So that's our reality. What we experience.
- 47:08Um, when you, I had a, in the workshop I had
- 47:13that Saturday, there were some people from other countries,
- 47:17uh, one woman from Poland, uh, for example.
- 47:20And, and in Norway, and I don't know how this in the states,
- 47:23but I, I reckon in, in, in, in many countries,
- 47:26people are very, uh, occupied with where you're from.
- 47:31Uh, so, so, oh, where you're from? Yeah, I'm from Poland.
- 47:34Okay. And then
- 47:36because they have heard things, they've learned things,
- 47:41they assume that
- 47:42that person from Poland is like everybody else from Poland.
- 47:46Yep. And kind of like, so the view of
- 47:49that Polish woman becomes be
- 47:53that woman in front of you that you, that you said
- 47:56that you learned about this polish.
- 47:58You then assume a whole set of values
- 48:00and things about her that might
- 48:05or not, might not be true, but for you it's true.
- 48:07So you assume certain things.
- 48:10Um, and that's happens in everyday life.
- 48:14It's, it's what what politics are run through as well.
- 48:17We are getting fed with information
- 48:20to make us assume that it's true.
- 48:23Mm-hmm. Uh, so we assume that what the politicians say,
- 48:28or what we talked about, uh,
- 48:30before we, I had to record button
- 48:32with you about radiation, for example.
- 48:34We assume because it's coming from, uh,
- 48:37what we think is a reliable source of choice we can trust
- 48:40and we assume that it's, it's the truth doesn't have to be,
- 48:44uh, but we base our reality on it.
- 48:49And, and for better and worse.
- 48:53And, uh, that I, I would say the law of assumption,
- 48:56if you change your way of thinking, your exp your,
- 48:59your perspective on things, you start
- 49:01to assume different things.
- 49:02Your reality different too.
- 49:04It's very natural for human beings
- 49:07to think what's the worst things that can happen?
- 49:09That's, that's very natural. That's our survival instinct.
- 49:13When we are in a place
- 49:15and we want to survive, it's from na from a,
- 49:18the time we grew, we, we were living in middle of nature.
- 49:23What is the worst that can happen right now? Right.
- 49:25Where's the tire coming from?
- 49:27Uh, I should better sit in that space
- 49:30because the wind is coming from that direction.
- 49:33So we are always preparing
- 49:34for the worst things that natural.
- 49:36But if, well, if we are going to think about, okay,
- 49:39what's the worst that can happen to us?
- 49:41If we going to change that and,
- 49:43and think what is the best that can happen to us?
- 49:46We assume the worst.
- 49:47We assume the best instead of the worst.
- 49:49Mm-hmm. As a way to protect ourselves.
- 49:53Well, you start needing reasons to protect yourself,
- 49:55and everything starts looking like a threat.
- 49:58Yeah. Yay.
- 49:59So you enter everything with a wall up,
- 50:02and you're suddenly a barrier from everything,
- 50:05and it's just, it's unreachable.
- 50:07There has to be something, a light in the,
- 50:10and there has to be a light, a hope in the dark
- 50:11that chips away at that wall
- 50:13and starts to show you that life is not all bad,
- 50:16and that you life that you wanna live is possible.
- 50:20But you have to stop looking outside
- 50:24and start looking inside and communicating.
- 50:27Like as I'm talking to you, suddenly I started coughing.
- 50:30Something needs to be communicated from the inside out.
- 50:34What is the baseline? Where have you been?
- 50:36What has set up these thoughts inside of you,
- 50:38and why is it that you still believe them?
- 50:40It's a point of questioning everything about yourself.
- 50:42And yes, it seems daunting,
- 50:44but you've gotta be that bouncer of the internal club
- 50:47that's going on with you.
- 50:50So if you're looking at everything like it's going
- 50:53to be a threat to you, if it's going to make you sick,
- 50:56my God, are you going to be a walking nervous case
- 50:59and everything is gonna be out to get you?
- 51:01But if you have even anything that can switch into a shred
- 51:06of hope and a shred of light in the dark, you can follow
- 51:09that and start to minuscule on a molecular level, start
- 51:13to transition from one place to another inside of yourself.
- 51:17And your assumptions about the world
- 51:18and how it responds to you is gonna start
- 51:20to be in correlation.
- 51:24It's personal evolution.
- 51:28Exactly. Yeah.
- 51:29And that change is important, uh,
- 51:31for those working in healthcare and,
- 51:33and trying to communicate
- 51:35to their patients all the side effects
- 51:38of treatment.
- 51:42How do you think a patient that is, uh, assuming the worst
- 51:48is going to react when you, uh, when you say, oh,
- 51:52when you just give a list
- 51:53of all the side effects of the treatment mm-hmm.
- 51:56I've experienced it myself.
- 51:57If you say it can, it can be that you feel this and that,
- 52:00and this and that, and the next day they come back and,
- 52:02and they have had all the side effects.
- 52:05Mm-hmm. Because they, they, they assume
- 52:08that this can happen, but the mo
- 52:10but the moment you tell them, I have to tell them,
- 52:12I have to tell this to you.
- 52:14So you, you know, it, you,
- 52:17but most of the time, this doesn't happen to any anybody.
- 52:22Mm-hmm. But if you experience it, you know that it's,
- 52:24that it's normal or it can happen.
- 52:26You don't have to worry about it.
- 52:28If you start your conversation and then say this and this
- 52:31and that, that can can happen.
- 52:33But often
- 52:34or not, it, you don't, you don't notice anything. That's a whole
- 52:39Thing.
- 52:40Yeah. How do you get your clients, your patients, to
- 52:46go beyond what the side effects could be
- 52:48or what the negative reactions can be?
- 52:50How do you get them to have a better response?
- 52:56I'm, I'm asking, you know, you personally,
- 53:00'cause I think that that is immensely great.
- 53:02You can give them everything and be like,
- 53:04I don't think this is gonna happen to you.
- 53:05And I'll tell you why. So I wanna hear
- 53:08what your thoughts are on that, what you know to be true.
- 53:12Yeah. You don't have to lie about it.
- 53:13You just say the facts. Right.
- 53:15Because the, the, the thing is, uh, in Norway,
- 53:18at least nurses have
- 53:20to tell their patients about the side effects,
- 53:22because if they don't tell about it, they can,
- 53:25the patient can say, Hey, I didn't know that.
- 53:28Mm-hmm. Right. That I could get this.
- 53:30And I, it scared me
- 53:31and I No, maybe in the US you can sue sue your,
- 53:35Oh God. Yeah. You can
- 53:36As Well for wearing a black tie. Come on. Right.
- 53:39So, uh, just say, I just say you have, I have
- 53:43to tell you this, this is information about side effects
- 53:47that can happen.
- 53:50Uh, but they, they don't have to happen to you.
- 53:54But if you notice, uh, I always say,
- 53:57don't go and wait for it.
- 53:59Just go your normal life.
- 54:02But if you happen to notice something like this, this
- 54:05and this and this and that, just know that it is normal.
- 54:08It is no nothing to be afraid of.
- 54:12And just when you come back to me next time,
- 54:15just tell me about it.
- 54:17And we follow up on that.
- 54:19And it's just the soothing, instead of giving them a list
- 54:24and not preparing them for, for it.
- 54:27If, if, if your patient
- 54:28or your client is in that state of, in a mindset of
- 54:32what is the worst that can happen to me, then then they're
- 54:35Gonna find out, then Find it.
- 54:37And, and the placebo effect is very strong.
- 54:41Oh, god. Yeah. People's resilience
- 54:43and desire to live is incredible.
- 54:45Yeah. I can give a piece of paper with a side effect
- 54:47to say this, this is what can happen and be done with it.
- 54:53Then people can interpret it as OI, oh, I have to make sure
- 54:57that this, and this doesn't happen, like you said
- 54:59with the orange scar, right?
- 55:00Mm-hmm. Don't look at the orange scar,
- 55:02and then you, you start searching for it.
- 55:05It's everywhere. Then side effects.
- 55:07Yeah. So in changing their mind
- 55:11and getting them to be optimistic instead of playing on,
- 55:15you know, the se well, not the seriousness,
- 55:18I'm sorry, poor choice of words.
- 55:19In that instead of playing on fears, instead
- 55:22of playing on the warnings of everything
- 55:24and just informing them, getting them to see the hope in it,
- 55:27getting them see that, how resilient they are, getting them
- 55:30to see that not everything is lost.
- 55:33And showing them that they are,
- 55:35for the most part in control.
- 55:37They do have the ability to overcome things.
- 55:41And it's not just about the resilience,
- 55:43but that's honestly where you can see miracles happen.
- 55:47I've seen people come back from what, like in documentaries
- 55:51and sometimes in personal life,
- 55:52I've seen people come back from, like,
- 55:55I've seen people come back from cancer.
- 55:58I've seen people come back from, you know,
- 56:00long-term illness and disease.
- 56:02But I've also seen somebody who is probably one
- 56:05of the most pessimistic down ridden people go in for one
- 56:09of the most common surgeries that had no issues with it,
- 56:13and they passed on the table.
- 56:15This happened, I wanna say 15 years ago.
- 56:18And this person who should not have passed,
- 56:20who had no medical issues from the hospital's end,
- 56:25she just didn't make it through her.
- 56:27She could not get through the surgery,
- 56:29and it was a common surgery,
- 56:33and they couldn't find anything in the report as
- 56:36to something that was wrong.
- 56:39There's always something that can happen.
- 56:41There's always a risk. And that's always in life.
- 56:44You can walk out the door one morning
- 56:46and get hit by a truck.
- 56:49Absolutely. And, and, and, and I mean,
- 56:51these things happen.
- 56:52I mean, if you are going to be concerned about that,
- 56:56then you are, yeah.
- 56:58You can't even sit inside your house
- 56:59because your roof might fall down.
- 57:02I mean, that's, that's part of, of, of life.
- 57:05And we shouldn't be afraid to live life, uh,
- 57:10in including not be afraid of all the hazards we might
- 57:15or might not have around us.
- 57:17And joy, every pH moment, uh,
- 57:22in my experience with, uh, with very sick
- 57:25and young patients, it just, it helped me realize that
- 57:30if I don't enjoy and make the best out of every day
- 57:35and, and take care of myself
- 57:38and my experience, uh, I mean,
- 57:43that's what I, what I mean
- 57:45by living a whole life and feeling whole.
- 57:47It doesn't matter. I mean, I can, I can, if I,
- 57:52if I, if I don't wake up the next tomorrow morning, uh, um,
- 57:58for myself, I wouldn't be sad
- 58:01because I know I,
- 58:04I have done the things I could have done in the best
- 58:07possible way I've tried.
- 58:09Right. It's not that I feel sorry or anything like that.
- 58:13Uh, it's more like, okay, I feel sad for my family,
- 58:16you know, but that's, that's even, even that.
- 58:20But those are things, I mean, it's all part
- 58:24of life, life and death.
- 58:27Uh, and, and, and,
- 58:28and what I find sad is people who don't, who don't,
- 58:34and I, I respect them nevertheless,
- 58:36but people who don't want to open up
- 58:40to becoming more than they are
- 58:43becoming more than a human being,
- 58:45as being defined in the dictionary.
- 58:48Mm-hmm. And the whole co course
- 58:49that's called you are more than a human being.
- 58:51This, this just about that. Yeah.
- 58:53Like what we talked about last time,
- 58:55what you also tell your, your clients is we are so
- 58:59immensely powerful.
- 59:00And the lowest of assumption is also part of that.
- 59:04We can learn to see the world in a different way, um,
- 59:09in ways that are beneficial to us and others.
- 59:14Uh, and, and like we said previously, uh, why,
- 59:17why don't we assume, uh, what the best is that can happen?
- 59:22Absolutely. And that's actually something
- 59:25that I really love working with people with.
- 59:28And it's not that things can't happen in life
- 59:32and that you can't get things out of left field.
- 59:34It's how are you going to respond?
- 59:36Are you going to control yourself?
- 59:38How are you going to adjust, adapt, and overcome?
- 59:41And how are you going to recover from this?
- 59:44Because it's not going to be something that's negative.
- 59:48It's something that can be a challenge. Absolutely. Hmm.
- 59:52But it's meant to, you know, it's meant for you
- 59:54to overcome something.
- 59:55It's meant for you to be powerful.
- 59:57And one of the things that I really love teaching people
- 1:00:01and getting them to see the power within themselves is
- 1:00:04when they do have something that is, uh, kind of new
- 1:00:09that's happening in their life, it's the fact that they can,
- 1:00:13um, uh, I'm trying to find the words.
- 1:00:16Hang on. It's on the tip of my tongue.
- 1:00:18But it's, uh, them in that moment
- 1:00:22not letting it derail them.
- 1:00:24And it's something that they can use
- 1:00:26as a stepping stone from themselves.
- 1:00:27It's something that they're not only resilient from,
- 1:00:29they come out stronger with,
- 1:00:31and they have more sense of a freedom
- 1:00:34and a relaxation in their life.
- 1:00:37And one of my goals is whoever I'm working with, I don't,
- 1:00:40because I, I work with people either short term
- 1:00:43or long term, and it's perfectly fine.
- 1:00:44People come and go and they are absolutely
- 1:00:46wonderful all walks of life.
- 1:00:49I never want somebody to finish their life dying.
- 1:00:51I want them to finish their life.
- 1:00:54Like, I don't want people to die.
- 1:00:56I just want them to finish living, live a life that is
- 1:00:59so fulfilling that it moves on
- 1:01:02beyond their, their time here.
- 1:01:05Like they have something that is a legacy to them,
- 1:01:08that something that they can feel comfortable
- 1:01:10and proud with, that they have a sense of peace with.
- 1:01:13And I see that in some people, that they have a life that is
- 1:01:18so amazing, so enriching for themselves,
- 1:01:21and again, through all different walks of life.
- 1:01:24And it's, when they finally go into that transition
- 1:01:29of life into the afterlife, it's like,
- 1:01:32it is a celebration of your life.
- 1:01:34I can't believe all the things that you were able
- 1:01:36to overcome, the footing you were able to make for yourself,
- 1:01:39what, what it was that came after it.
- 1:01:41The things that you healed within yourself
- 1:01:43that transmuted into the external experience outside of you.
- 1:01:47It is remarkable.
- 1:01:49And I've seen some people that I work with,
- 1:01:52and they have made reconnections and reconciliations
- 1:01:55and closures in their life.
- 1:01:57And that whoever that they had done in a few instances,
- 1:02:01they had passed on.
- 1:02:02They had finished living, and they got that sense
- 1:02:04of closure, that sense of peace, that sense
- 1:02:06of reconciliation.
- 1:02:08There is truly that,
- 1:02:11that I'm just gonna be super cheesy
- 1:02:13and say the set sense of oneness.
- 1:02:15Yeah. And
- 1:02:16I, I want this very amazing what you say right now and,
- 1:02:20and for people watching and,
- 1:02:21and listening in, like, you don't have to be
- 1:02:24the next dar lama
- 1:02:26or the next president of the United States
- 1:02:28to make an impact.
- 1:02:30I mean, such, you have such a ripple effect
- 1:02:33by just telling your colleague that you appreciate them.
- 1:02:37Mm-hmm. Just that one little thing, I mean, that have such,
- 1:02:41that can have such an impact on not maybe one person's life,
- 1:02:45but think about that family of that person's life.
- 1:02:48You're, uh, you're affected with that.
- 1:02:50It has a ripple effect that goes
- 1:02:52all over the world, in essence.
- 1:02:54Absolutely. Uh, so, but the, and that's just a tiny thing.
- 1:02:59It cost you two seconds of your life and two nice words.
- 1:03:04And it's just, and, and, and,
- 1:03:06and that's the amazing impact you, you have,
- 1:03:09uh, on, on the world.
- 1:03:11And that ripple effect has also a mirror effect
- 1:03:14because it comes back to you.
- 1:03:17It comes back to you.
- 1:03:18The scent of the rose remains on the hand of the giver.
- 1:03:22Yeah,
- 1:03:23Exactly. Yeah.
- 1:03:24And, and, and,
- 1:03:26and then what I find so beautiful is when people
- 1:03:30start doing this, they get it.
- 1:03:32They notice it, they become aware of it,
- 1:03:35and then it's like, oh, wow.
- 1:03:37It's like a gift that keeps on giving and, and,
- 1:03:40and forgive yourself for not feeling well one day
- 1:03:44and not being in the mood one day because it's all allowed.
- 1:03:47Right. We can't be, we can't be out there all the time.
- 1:03:53I mean, we get a cold, we get in the, the flu.
- 1:03:57Uh, we can fall from the stairs and break a leg, et cetera,
- 1:04:00but know that you make an impact.
- 1:04:04Well, different ways when you fall from the stairs as well.
- 1:04:08But, but you make, you make it, you make it,
- 1:04:10you have made an impact.
- 1:04:12And even if you get into a situation where you, where you,
- 1:04:16for example, break a leg, uh, you notice that ripple, that
- 1:04:21that mirror effect coming back to you
- 1:04:23because people will, uh, will acknowledge that Will, will,
- 1:04:27will, will try to help you, will tune in
- 1:04:30and say, Hey, how are you doing?
- 1:04:32Right. Just because they, they know you as a person that is,
- 1:04:37I won't say positive, but sees other people
- 1:04:40and has an impact on the wh you're not
- 1:04:42alone anymore. You never
- 1:04:45Were. Yeah,
- 1:04:45You never were. But you
- 1:04:46do. You shouldn't feel that either
- 1:04:48because, uh, just by doing small, small things
- 1:04:54Well there and that you shouldn't feel alone.
- 1:04:58That's something I think that we should address in a future
- 1:05:00podcast and how we can be of service even more
- 1:05:04to one another and be that sense of community that we
- 1:05:08as human beings crave.
- 1:05:11And, um, I think that there's, uh,
- 1:05:16a polarity that I kind of want to get enmeshed in next time,
- 1:05:19because I would love to have another one
- 1:05:21with you if you're ever open up to it.
- 1:05:23But, uh, yeah, I think that that sense of alone
- 1:05:26and why is that happening, I think that'd be a great topic
- 1:05:30to uncover next time.
- 1:05:32Absolutely. Absolutely.
- 1:05:34Uh, and a very good topic
- 1:05:36for especially the Scandinavian countries.
- 1:05:39Let's wrap it up. Yeah,
- 1:05:40Let's wrap it up. That
- 1:05:41was a really important note
- 1:05:43to put things at for next time.
- 1:05:46Hmm. Uh, so yeah. Thank you, Erin.
- 1:05:50Thank you for having me. It's a pleasure.

- 1:05:59and listening, uh, thank you for, uh, holding on
