- 0:07SPEAKER_00: If you are great at what you do, your reputation is solid, and your network is full of impressive names, but none of it is helping you get closer to your business goals or professional aspirations, you are in the right place.
- 0:19SPEAKER_00: Welcome to the Social Capital Method.
- 0:21SPEAKER_00: I'm your host, Sabine Gideon.
- 0:23SPEAKER_00: This is the show for the high-performing professional, founder-led business owner, or consultant ready for the referrals, revenue, and recognition your work deserves.
- 0:33SPEAKER_00: Tune in each week for a breakdown of the strategies, systems, and identity level shifts behind sustainable relationship-driven growth.
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: Let's get into it.
- 0:56SPEAKER_00: So, what are those three roles?
- 0:58SPEAKER_00: They are the connectors, collaborators, and champions.
- 1:01SPEAKER_00: So let's break down what each one of them are.
- 1:03SPEAKER_00: The connectors are the bridge bridge builders.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: These are the people who open doors, they make introductions, and essentially expand your access.
- 1:10SPEAKER_00: They may not necessarily be the people who are going to be your buyers, but they are the ones who will more than likely bring you opportunities, clients, or visibility through their network.
- 1:21SPEAKER_00: Then you have your collaborators.
- 1:23SPEAKER_00: These are your co-creators, these are strategic partners.
- 1:26SPEAKER_00: Maybe they are people with aligned audiences, they have complementary expertise, shared missions, and you help create value together, whether that's in collaborations, workshops, panels, joint ventures, whatever that looks like.
- 1:41SPEAKER_00: These are usually people who sit in the same industry as you do.
- 1:45SPEAKER_00: Maybe they do the same work that you do.
- 1:47SPEAKER_00: And then there are the champions.
- 1:48SPEAKER_00: These are the advocates.
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: These are the people who are your cheerleading squad, so to speak.
- 1:54SPEAKER_00: And so they're the promoters, they're the believers, they can include clients, they can include peers, they can include mentors, people essentially who are speaking or willing to speak your name in rooms that you are not.
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: With all three C's, they represent the core layers of a healthy ecosystem.
- 2:12SPEAKER_00: So people who connect, people who help you create, and people who champion on your behalf.
- 2:17SPEAKER_00: And when all of these individual roles are aligned and balanced, your network becomes this living system that expands your reach naturally.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: Now it doesn't happen overnight.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: Again, you still have to sow those seeds, but once you can identify who's playing what role, then you're really able to strategically navigate and leverage the social capital that you have access to.
- 2:45SPEAKER_00: Thank you for tuning in to this week's episode.
