Transcript
- 0:25All right. After some trouble getting online and getting the recording started,
- 0:29we can finally start. Welcome back to Love Your Love Muscle.
- 0:33As you can see, I'm back here with Christina from Way to
- 0:36Yourself. So we're going to have a very interesting conversation
- 0:40today.
- 0:42The theme for today will be how to care without carrying
- 0:46everything. So we're going to talk about staying informed, at the same
- 0:50time, trying to stay compassionate and regulated
- 0:53instead of getting overwhelmed by everything that is happening in
- 0:57the world.
- 0:59My name is Seb, the founder of the Transformational Meditation Group,
- 1:03and this is a biweekly podcast that I hold for you.
- 1:07And since this is going to be a talk or interview, it's going
- 1:11to be a little bit longer than you are used to.
- 1:14Normally, when we are in nature and meditate there, we do a short session,
- 1:1830 minutes, and that's it. But now we're going to talk a little bit
- 1:22longer, most likely.
- 1:24And as you know, I'm not that keen on what is
- 1:28happening in society with our
- 1:31focus. We can't focus anymore.
- 1:34Like I say often,
- 1:36our attention span has gotten down to 47 seconds
- 1:41from several minutes a couple of years ago.
- 1:44So I think it's a crisis to say it that
- 1:48way.
- 1:49And some of it comes from what we're going to talk about
- 1:53today as well. But before we get started and
- 1:57reintroduce Christina,
- 2:00we're going to do a short self-regulation session, so you'll learn
- 2:04how to stay focused for longer, for more than 47
- 2:07seconds. So I just want you to find a comfortable position, move a little bit
- 2:11with your body
- 2:13so you sit good and well. Move your shoulders, your
- 2:16neck,
- 2:18and just take a nice deep inhale through your nose.
- 2:23Fill those lungs with air and breathe out through your mouth.
- 2:26When as you breathe out, let the day go. Feel yourself getting centered.
- 2:30Lower your shoulders. Loosen your jaw.
- 2:33Take another nice deep inhale through your nose
- 2:37and out through your mouth.
- 2:41Settle down. Feel that you're centered, more relaxed.
- 2:44You can close your eyes if you want to.
- 2:49And let's just focus immediately on our heart area.
- 2:52You can put your hand on your chest right there where your heart is to get more
- 2:56focus on your heart space.
- 2:59Become more aware of your heart.
- 3:05Settle down there with your awareness
- 3:10and just imagine that you're breathing through your heart, that the air
- 3:14goes in and out through your chest area, through your heart,
- 3:20with nice, slow, deep breaths,
- 3:25calming the nervous system down,
- 3:30settling down.
- 3:33And
- 3:39on your next out breath, feel that you're settled even more, that you're
- 3:42centered
- 3:44and focused on this moment, on the present moment.
- 3:50Continue breathing through your heart.
- 3:58Just say to yourself, set the intention
- 4:03in your mind,
- 4:05say to yourself that you're going to be focused and present
- 4:08throughout this session,
- 4:12that you're going to
- 4:14stay aware
- 4:17so you don't miss out on any important information.
- 4:23Because during these sessions, these interviews, there's a lot of
- 4:26interesting stuff going on.
- 4:30You don't want to miss out
- 4:33on this information that can benefit you and can benefit others.
- 4:39So again, set the intention to stay alert
- 4:43and focused
- 4:45on this session,
- 4:47the podcast you are watching or listening to right
- 4:50now. That you stay
- 4:54with us throughout the session,
- 4:57not only for your own benefit, but also out of respect for our guest,
- 5:01Christina,
- 5:04who is
- 5:06lending her time to us.
- 5:09Beautiful.
- 5:14Okay, breathe normally again. Move a little bit with your body
- 5:18and open your eyes if you had them closed, and welcome back.
- 5:21And let's get started. All right. So
- 5:26we have done some previous interviews with Christina from Way to
- 5:30Yourself,
- 5:31a beautiful organization that helps people
- 5:35around the world, but especially, I guess, in Uganda, in Africa,
- 5:40where you have been and visited and helped out, right?
- 5:44Yeah, that's true.
- 5:46Mm-hmm. And you also do weekly
- 5:49sessions
- 5:51with Tibetan meditations, or at least
- 5:56the
- 5:58old
- 6:00Tibetan knowledge
- 6:02Mm-hmm
- 6:03Is that what you teach?
- 6:05Yes.
- 6:06First of all, thank you so much for welcoming me
- 6:10back here. I'm very glad to be in this space again.
- 6:14And, yeah, for sure there will be weekly
- 6:17sessions.
- 6:19We do it Sunday evening online.
- 6:22And, as well, some self-regulation,
- 6:27some different knowledge which is
- 6:30combined, and for sure can help a lot in
- 6:34the everyday life.
- 6:37Beautiful. I
- 6:40got a link from you now recently, so I will post it under this video,
- 6:43under this podcast,
- 6:46with the times
- 6:47when these sessions are.
- 6:50So those that are following along, they can chime in
- 6:54on these dates and see if you
- 6:57can join those sessions.
- 7:01Let's go over to the theme for today, and if you see me looking up over, it's there
- 7:05where I have my notes so that you don't get confused and
- 7:09thinking, "What is Sep doing now? Why is he looking the other way?"
- 7:15That's because of the setup. We had a problem with
- 7:19the session before to get it started and recorded.
- 7:22So-
- 7:23Okay
- 7:24... we're over to plan B and doing everything on the mobile
- 7:27phone.
- 7:30What we want to talk about is,
- 7:32I guess everybody
- 7:36knows you want to stay informed, right?
- 7:37You
- 7:39often hear people say from the spiritual realm or from
- 7:42the spiritual space, the New Age movement, et cetera, saying,
- 7:46"First thing you have to do is turn off the television, don't watch the
- 7:50news,"
- 7:52but all those things, but you still have to live in the society.
- 7:57So there's still a way you need to stay informed, right?
- 8:00Otherwise you
- 8:02don't have anything to talk about, or you don't know what's going on around you.
- 8:06But the thing is, there is a
- 8:10good thing, the people saying, "Turn off the television, don't watch the
- 8:14news,"
- 8:16et cetera,
- 8:17but because you get overwhelmed so easily.
- 8:21There's so much information. We are so much of a global society now.
- 8:25There's so much going on that
- 8:28even if it's not in our direct area, in our vicinity,
- 8:32still affects us very much.
- 8:35So if you turn on the news now or go to the media
- 8:39websites, you will notice, of course, the war in
- 8:42Ukraine, Israel, Gaza, US and
- 8:46Iran, so lots of conflicts going on around the world.
- 8:51The war in Iran is also affecting
- 8:55everybody globally a lot because of oil shortages,
- 9:00that sort of things. So we get affected by it
- 9:03nevertheless.
- 9:05There is also things
- 9:09going on, if you're living in Europe, in the EU especially,
- 9:13with EU leaders
- 9:16trying to take away certain freedoms and
- 9:20privacy that we're so used to in form of chat
- 9:23control and digital currencies, and their whole
- 9:27digital life is getting looked at or watched,
- 9:31and it's almost becoming more like China
- 9:35in a way. So there's a lot of things that affect us that we can
- 9:39get concerned about,
- 9:41and that can cause uncertainty,
- 9:45stress, problem with sleeping.
- 9:49But you still want to stay informed, right?
- 9:51You still want to stay compassionate about, for
- 9:55example,
- 9:57refugees coming from these areas where there's
- 10:00war.
- 10:02You can't stay numb. Those are human beings.
- 10:05You have to listen to them and live with them, and yeah, maybe
- 10:09try to help them and understand them.
- 10:16So the question today is actually how do we do that?
- 10:18How do we navigate
- 10:21in today's world where there's so much going on and
- 10:25a big portion of it is affecting us?
- 10:29I don't know. What are your thoughts about that, Christina?
- 10:34Thank you so much for this topic for today.
- 10:36I see it's very important and very much up to date right
- 10:40now.
- 10:43There are different points which are important right now.
- 10:48First of all, we always will have,
- 10:53let's say, some difficulties in the world because
- 10:57this is how the world is created.
- 11:00When we really go back to,
- 11:03let's say, to the source,
- 11:06our planet is like this, that we are facing challenges.
- 11:11Because only through the challenges we are going to develop.
- 11:16We need to think about it. We need to overcome
- 11:20it. We need to do something. And
- 11:24the main situation is right now
- 11:28we are under the influence of, let's say, some higher
- 11:32forces.
- 11:34Higher forces which are
- 11:41giving us some limits maybe
- 11:44even, or some freedom.
- 11:47And the time is changing,
- 11:51so we have a time when there's a lot of freedom,
- 11:54when we are supported in it, and also time coming when
- 11:58it is more limited.
- 12:01And mostly,
- 12:03it's also coming from nature. It's like the
- 12:08influence from the higher forces, but as well,
- 12:13there's the situation when people start
- 12:17acting a lot by themselves, when they really forget
- 12:21about their
- 12:24true background.
- 12:26We are living in a world right now when people
- 12:30have a very--
- 12:34How to say this in English?
- 12:36Let's
- 12:41say people, they
- 12:43had a very good life. They had a lot
- 12:47of
- 12:48freedom. They had everything what they need.
- 12:51And that's a moment when people, they forget to pray,
- 12:56they forget to think about the higher forces, to think about
- 13:00God, because everything is fine, so you don't have this
- 13:03need. You understand?
- 13:06But when you forget about it, then
- 13:09God sees that some changes are needed,
- 13:14and then it happens that there will be some regulations.
- 13:18Because when the situation changes,
- 13:21then it happens that we need to come back
- 13:25to prayers. We need to remind ourself to connect
- 13:29more to God.
- 13:31We need to unite more with people to start to
- 13:35support each other, and then the situation will change
- 13:39again. And right now, I
- 13:42understand what you're talking about, when everything is limited
- 13:47with the,
- 13:48like you told about the
- 13:52online
- 13:54currency, what happening, you told about it's
- 13:58happening nearly like China.
- 14:02And so these regulations are there.
- 14:06And we need to remember more about God. We need to pray.
- 14:11Because when we do like this, we see that
- 14:15changes will coming.
- 14:17And the most important is
- 14:20our life always will be somehow limited.
- 14:24There will be always limits, because you live, for example, in
- 14:27Norway. Norway have rules,
- 14:30regulations. You have laws from the government.
- 14:34You have to follow them.
- 14:37Me in my country, I have the same. In some parts, they may
- 14:41be similar, some parts completely different.
- 14:45What for you, it's normal, for us, it's not possible to think
- 14:48about maybe.
- 14:50And so we always have these regulations and
- 14:53limitations. And
- 14:56the only thing is that we need to understand when we start
- 15:00the way of our self-development,
- 15:04when you start to learn more,
- 15:08to develop spiritually,
- 15:12automatically, you will get more freedom.
- 15:16Even if you are very limited in the space, if everything is
- 15:20narrow,
- 15:23it's
- 15:24anyway creating some freedom. You
- 15:28understand?
- 15:30Mm-hmm.
- 15:31I really like that you almost, or almost maybe you
- 15:35even went straight to maybe the cause of everything that's going on right
- 15:39now. Like we lost our connection to what you call
- 15:42God,
- 15:45where we don't lose the connection, but we are not so
- 15:48focused on it anymore because we had such a good life, and
- 15:52everything was like, "Yeah, why? I don't have to pray or ask
- 15:56God for anything like that." When I translate it to my
- 16:00world where God is not a person, to say it that way, but more like the
- 16:05source of life,
- 16:06and the natural law of things.
- 16:11Almost like we humans,
- 16:17we are getting further and further away from
- 16:20what life truly is and what it is being a human
- 16:24being. And then I come back again to
- 16:29what I always advocate, it's like the heart-brain connection.
- 16:32If we
- 16:33stop
- 16:35our hearts, there's the source. You can almost say God lives there,
- 16:39and it connects us to
- 16:41God, right? It connects us to each other, it connects us to the world, it connects
- 16:45us quite literally to the earth itself and the
- 16:49universe because it's all electromagnetic information
- 16:53and energy.
- 16:55So even the science shows this, like
- 16:59we are losing our connection
- 17:02with source, with what you can call God,
- 17:06because we're living up in our heads.
- 17:08Everything is here, and we only
- 17:11process the information from our five senses and not our sixth
- 17:15sense, our heart. We don't let our heart play with it,
- 17:19and
- 17:22listen to the input that our heart can give.
- 17:25And vice versa,
- 17:28how we live, and we see that with,
- 17:31especially, I must say, unfortunately as well,
- 17:35with our current politicians, our governments, it's like they are
- 17:39not
- 17:40living from the heart. They're not heart-focused.
- 17:43When they make decisions, it
- 17:46doesn't come from the heart anymore.
- 17:48And I think that also, like you say, that connection with the heart,
- 17:52that connection with God, however you want to see it,
- 17:58is
- 18:00leading us constantly into a
- 18:04blind way.
- 18:06It stops us, and it causes conflict.
- 18:13I recently talked with my father about all the things going on in the
- 18:17world as well,
- 18:19and
- 18:20we came to the conclusion as two old wise
- 18:25men,
- 18:27actually, it's all about education.
- 18:30If we grow up in a
- 18:34society where we learn at school, for example,
- 18:41human behavior, what is acceptable, what is normal,
- 18:45living from the heart, especially,
- 18:48how to be kind to each other, how to
- 18:53act or help other people when they have a difficult time,
- 18:57how to stand up for each other, stand up for yourself, and not
- 19:01let yourself get
- 19:03overrun by
- 19:05some
- 19:06people who want authority over you or want to pressure you in
- 19:10things you don't like.
- 19:12Those sort of things we are not
- 19:16taught at school anymore.
- 19:19Mm-hmm.
- 19:20We are learning about society,
- 19:24but we're not learning how to behave in society.
- 19:27Mm-hmm. And the
- 19:31only way
- 19:33we are now getting to know how to behave in society is by
- 19:37being taught
- 19:38the law,
- 19:40which only says all the things you cannot do.
- 19:43Like, it's forbidden with this, it's forbidden with that.
- 19:46And that's like
- 19:48even if you say to somebody, "You can't do this and that," and you
- 19:53use an hour to say all the things you can do,
- 19:57a human being normally would say, "Oh, right, so I don't have any
- 20:01freedom at all."
- 20:03Mm-hmm. And even maybe gets
- 20:08the idea to revolt
- 20:12against it and to actually go against it.
- 20:15Like, "Oh, yeah, I can't do this? Okay, great,
- 20:19then I'll try something else that maybe isn't good either."
- 20:24I sometimes say when I talk to some-- I talked to a lawyer once, I
- 20:28said, "Why is the law always saying the things you can't do?" I mean,
- 20:32the law books would be a lot thinner if you could just
- 20:36say the things you can do.
- 20:39And it would also say, "Hey, you have the freedom to do this and that,"
- 20:43instead of always saying, "You can't do this. You can't do that." Yeah.
- 20:47But,
- 20:49yeah. I mean, I think we agree on the point that
- 20:53losing our connection to how we live,
- 20:56the way of life, and
- 21:00not living from the heart anymore could be a cause of all the
- 21:04troubles we are in.
- 21:06And I guess also knowing
- 21:10this,
- 21:12and you talked a little bit about prayer,
- 21:15and prayer
- 21:17overlaps a lot with meditation because you're contemplating
- 21:22sort of in both ways, and
- 21:28not doing that anymore makes that you're not connected
- 21:33with life. What do you think so far?
- 21:37How are we
- 21:41doing?
- 21:43Do you think
- 21:45we agree, like meditating, praying,
- 21:49getting back to being a real human
- 21:53being instead of trying to figure things out without listening to
- 21:57what really life is about?
- 22:01Mm-hmm.
- 22:03Yeah, you have very important points and views.
- 22:07Thank you so much for speaking about this.
- 22:11Right now,
- 22:13our world is changing in a lot of areas, in a lot of
- 22:19everyday life situations even,
- 22:22and
- 22:24we
- 22:25see some, like, the changes, the regulations,
- 22:29in a lot of fields.
- 22:32I can give you an example. For example, during the last days,
- 22:36I had contact with a school. I saw the students right
- 22:40now,
- 22:41and, to be honest, I was very surprised because there
- 22:45happened a lot of changes as well. Like, when you go more deep
- 22:49inside of this topic, you see the changes there as well.
- 22:53And it's completely different than, for example, 10 years ago.
- 22:58A lot of changes. And
- 23:01so,
- 23:03for sure, we have to remember ourself
- 23:07that
- 23:09basically we are free. We
- 23:14can do whatever we want, but we need to think about that
- 23:17everything have a consequence, because actually we
- 23:21are following some, let's say,
- 23:25cosmic laws.
- 23:27Everybody is doing it, and even when you think you are free,
- 23:31you have these laws, and in one moment, it will have an
- 23:35influence in your life.
- 23:37And so
- 23:40I prepared a topic or some first
- 23:43today because more and more,
- 23:46we should remember about the ancient knowledge which we
- 23:50also find in the Bible.
- 23:53For a lot of people, for example, Bible is connected only for
- 23:57religion, but-
- 23:58Mm-hmm
- 23:59... actually it is not. It's just like what people,
- 24:03the human being, created out of it, but in fact, it's a
- 24:06lot of knowledge in it,
- 24:09and when we adapt it to our everyday life, it
- 24:13helps a lot.
- 24:15And already Christ told, "If you want to find a way to God,
- 24:19you have to pass me. You have to come through me to be
- 24:23able to reach." And so I prepared first,
- 24:27I don't know if you are connected somehow to Bible or if you
- 24:31are somehow in this topic,
- 24:35because this is what our world needs more
- 24:39and more, this
- 24:41connection to the ancient knowledge, to the prayer, to
- 24:45God, that we are able
- 24:49to get out of difficult situations.
- 24:53What we have to-
- 24:55I want to pause a little bit. I must say I've
- 25:00grown up amongst Roman Catholics. I've been to Roman Catholic schools.
- 25:04My parents weren't Catholic at all, but
- 25:07they sent me to these schools. So I know I've been around the
- 25:11Bible a lot,
- 25:13in church as well. And I didn't find it enough, so I went
- 25:17actually on and
- 25:19dug up the Gnostic
- 25:22texts-
- 25:23Yes
- 25:23... which has even more information that isn't available in the Bible.
- 25:28And it's like you say, there's so much,
- 25:32like you say, ancient knowledge, but
- 25:34it's actually talking about
- 25:38life, how life is built up. Right? And how we can navigate
- 25:42in life and who we are in the world, who we are in the cosmos and the
- 25:45universe. Who are we there? If you dig
- 25:49through this, it's so fascinating, and like you
- 25:53say, don't connect it to religion.
- 25:57Do your own digging, investigate.
- 26:00And
- 26:01you can go, I've done this also, go to a church.
- 26:05I
- 26:06did all this when I was still working at the hospital.
- 26:10So we have a hospital priest, right?
- 26:14And
- 26:16I did some rounds through the hospital on
- 26:19some QA control, QA checks, so I met them, too.
- 26:23So there's always a lovely conversation to have with priests
- 26:27and
- 26:28other religious people around you.
- 26:30You can even go to your local imam if you are
- 26:34a Muslim. You will find so much similar information that
- 26:38overlap each other, and the red thread to everything,
- 26:42to all the religions, basically, you will find so many connections and
- 26:46so many ancient knowledge which is the same or based on the same.
- 26:50And once you get digging in, it's just pleasant to see that
- 26:54all these religions are based on the same principles,
- 27:00more or less. And it's the way how you interpret it that
- 27:04makes the differences between them.
- 27:07But in the core, it's basically all the same,
- 27:13which
- 27:14I think is wonderful, and I really want to encourage, like you say as well,
- 27:18we
- 27:20must get back to
- 27:25ancient knowledge, and yeah. I would say take a huge step back
- 27:29so we can get forward again.
- 27:31Mm-hmm.
- 27:32Yeah. With all the information we forget or didn't focus on, we
- 27:36should take that and
- 27:40get back to that and take it with us again.
- 27:42Mm-hmm.
- 27:43Mm.
- 27:45To come back somehow to the roots, right?
- 27:47Yeah. And actually,
- 27:50quite recently, my eldest son, I have two sons, my eldest son said
- 27:55that a lot of his classmates and kids he knows,
- 27:59they are seeking their way to churches again,
- 28:03to the church, to religion.
- 28:06So
- 28:07there's
- 28:09hope
- 28:11I must say. Yeah. I find the youth today
- 28:16very wise.
- 28:17Mm-hmm.
- 28:18And when I see my kids and their
- 28:22friends, what they talk about and
- 28:26how they do things in life, what they prioritize,
- 28:31I feel like, wow,
- 28:33we need these kids in politics right now.
- 28:39Yeah.
- 28:39And clean up a bit because they, yeah.
- 28:44I don't know.
- 28:45But the
- 28:48generation right now that is like 18, 19 years old,
- 28:52they are wonderful. I'm not sure how you see that.
- 28:55How old were the kids you have met
- 28:58recently?
- 29:01Oh, basically, that was very special days they had because in
- 29:05our country, they are preparing now to come soon to summer
- 29:08holidays.
- 29:10Mm-hmm.
- 29:10And basically, all their education now is done for this
- 29:14study, for this moment, and so
- 29:17they are doing different projects.
- 29:20And
- 29:21it was a mixed class, not only like one level class,
- 29:25but different ages. I guess starting from 9 or
- 29:2910 years up to 14, 15
- 29:32years. And really, they think a
- 29:36lot. They are very wise. They are
- 29:40really great guys. But we need to,
- 29:44yeah, to guide them, to teach them, to guide them, and to
- 29:48give some,
- 29:49let's say some point for the future.
- 29:54You understand?
- 29:55Yeah, absolutely.
- 29:57Right now-
- 29:59And guide them in the right direction, right? Like what you're doing.
- 30:02Let them know about-
- 30:05Uh-huh
- 30:06... ancient knowledge and
- 30:09the Bible or God or whatever you want to call it.
- 30:12And
- 30:13yeah, reconnect them with that knowledge there, and hopefully,
- 30:17they take that with them in their decision-making and
- 30:21how they want to
- 30:23Want to build their lives.
- 30:25Mm.
- 30:28Uh-huh.
- 30:29Well, they
- 30:32need, for sure, the guidance and the knowledge, and
- 30:37some good examples. Because when you don't know, for example,
- 30:41you're told how to live for the
- 30:44future,
- 30:46you need to have the good examples to understand how
- 30:50is somebody living really, that you are able to follow it, that
- 30:54you can maybe adapt it, because you also want to have such a possibility
- 30:58in your life.
- 30:59And that's why it's really good to have these
- 31:03examples to be able to follow
- 31:07and to create it for the good future.
- 31:11I think it's also important to-
- 31:13I prepared-
- 31:13Yeah, go ahead.
- 31:18Uh-huh.
- 31:20I prepared one verse. If it is okay,
- 31:24I want to share it.
- 31:27It's okay for you?
- 31:27Sure. Yeah.
- 31:28Yeah.
- 31:30So, it's in John, in the chapter eight, the
- 31:34verse 31 to 32.
- 31:38"If you abide in my word, you are truly my
- 31:41disciples, and you will know the truth, and the
- 31:45truth will set you free.
- 31:48So, if the Son sets you free, you will be free
- 31:52indeed."
- 31:56Beautiful.
- 31:56I can send you after, when you want.
- 31:59And,
- 32:00so yeah, when you know the truth, the truth set us
- 32:04free,
- 32:05and when we are the truly the
- 32:09disciples, then already everything is changing.
- 32:13Because when we have the knowledge, we are
- 32:18getting more free.
- 32:20And then people ask the question, "But what is the truth?" Oh, you know the truth
- 32:24when you feel it in your heart. You know it.
- 32:27This
- 32:29feels good. That's often the truth, if you wonder.
- 32:32And you can also, what I often do with my students or
- 32:36my course participants or workshop participants,
- 32:40is asking our heart a question. And
- 32:44that is basically like what we did in the start, breathe through your heart,
- 32:48calm down, and then you ask yourself a question, a yes and no
- 32:53question. So you should be able to answer yes or no on it, nothing
- 32:57else.
- 32:58And you ask that question, and then you drop into your heart space,
- 33:02and the first answer that comes up comes straight from the heart because you
- 33:06haven't analyzed anything yet. It's just straight from source,
- 33:10as I call it.
- 33:11And that's then,
- 33:14most of the time, the correct answer.
- 33:17You have to trust it,
- 33:18trust your intuition, trust that knowledge there.
- 33:22So that's also a way to find truth. And sometimes you get the
- 33:26answer that you didn't expect or that you didn't want to hear.
- 33:30That's just the way it is.
- 33:32Just go for it and just say, "Okay." If your heart said yes, it's, "Oh, okay."
- 33:37Then trust it.
- 33:40And it's the same with if you hear something, truth, it rings a
- 33:44bell, as people call it, or it resonates with you.
- 33:48That's truth. That's the truth.
- 33:52Which also,
- 33:54I find difficult to accept as a European.
- 33:58Now I'm getting a little bit back to politics, for example.
- 34:01If you hear our politicians talk
- 34:04and speak, our NATO politicians, EU
- 34:07politicians,
- 34:09and especially when they answer questions, they kind of run around the
- 34:13bush. They don't want to answer full out.
- 34:17And I'm like, "Ah, okay, you're hiding something.
- 34:19You're not entirely speaking the truth."
- 34:24Contrary, when you hear
- 34:27our
- 34:28adversaries, like the
- 34:32head of state in China or President Putin from
- 34:36Russia or his foreign minister,
- 34:40Lavrov, if you hear them talk and speak and answer questions,
- 34:44it makes sense.
- 34:47I don't want to say they are right because then I'm being banned
- 34:50from everything in Europe, I guess, right now.
- 34:55But it makes sense what they talk about, and it's like
- 34:59it rings a bell. Yeah, it makes sense.
- 35:02And then I guess people can get confused.
- 35:06What is happening? What is the truth right now?
- 35:09And I'm just going to be honest with myself and say, hey,
- 35:14I tend to
- 35:17take the information that makes sense to me,
- 35:20even if it comes from a source that I've been told I shouldn't
- 35:24trust.
- 35:26I'll take that more as a truth, and then
- 35:29somebody talking around the bush, talking nonsense
- 35:33or illogical,
- 35:36and can't answer a question, like a definite question in a way that's, "Okay,
- 35:40this is the way it is."
- 35:42I find it very frustrating, myself,
- 35:45and I guess maybe many people
- 35:49in Europe,
- 35:51that our governments and politicians aren't
- 35:55open and truthful in some way.
- 35:59Have you experienced the same?
- 36:05First of all,
- 36:06there is some very simple, let's say maybe some kind of
- 36:10phrase. Because to realize the truth,
- 36:14it's always good to focus on your heart.
- 36:17When you connect to your heart, when you're really
- 36:21able
- 36:23to feel it deeply,
- 36:26there's the phrase, it means you feel God.
- 36:29You can feel God in your heart. And in this moment, you
- 36:33understand that it is true. It's something
- 36:38alive, something true. You feel it more
- 36:42deep.
- 36:43And we are living, of course, in a time when there are
- 36:47also
- 36:48a lot of dark forces coming, a lot of dark
- 36:52powers trying to affect the life of a
- 36:56person. In the Bible, they call it
- 36:59Saturn is coming,
- 37:01or the devil is there, devil is around.
- 37:05So,
- 37:07yeah, this is existing, of course. These powers exist.
- 37:11But when we connect to our heart, we understand
- 37:15what is the right, what is the truth,
- 37:18and
- 37:20we need to connect more to it, to this source.
- 37:24We need to connect more
- 37:26and especially now,
- 37:29what is also very important in our days, what I see, I
- 37:33guess you have the same in Norway, or
- 37:36I guess most of the European countries have
- 37:40similar
- 37:44situations,
- 37:47when people, they separate.
- 37:50People, they live
- 37:52very separate from each other.
- 37:56So everybody have a own life. People, they're working a
- 38:00lot.
- 38:02Somehow they try to manage their things,
- 38:06their topics, their difficulties alone.
- 38:10Maybe sometimes they don't have even another possibility because
- 38:14nobody is around.
- 38:16But in fact,
- 38:18to have such a modern life, it brings us
- 38:22as well obstacles.
- 38:25And sometimes it's good
- 38:27to think about it,
- 38:30maybe to change it somehow, to have friends around, to have
- 38:34your family, to have relatives, whoever is there,
- 38:38to support each other. You understand what I'm talking about?
- 38:43Yeah.
- 38:44For example, when we go back,
- 38:47from our last conversations, I am connected
- 38:50to African country, to Uganda,
- 38:54and to see how these people, they are living, it's very
- 38:58different from our way of life. Very different.
- 39:01And
- 39:03sometimes I really would love to adapt some part just from
- 39:07their life to bring to Europe because I know it would be a
- 39:11great
- 39:13possibility, a great influence to change it.
- 39:17And then,
- 39:19yeah, our life will blossom because then we already
- 39:23have a good basement,
- 39:25and when you have people around who are there
- 39:29supporting each other,
- 39:32who are trustful,
- 39:34you can ask for advice, you can
- 39:38somehow doing good things together,
- 39:42then a big step already is created.
- 39:48I think that you mentioned now one part of the solution
- 39:52as well.
- 39:54There are many
- 39:56possible solutions that you can do.
- 39:59I think, like you said, helping each other,
- 40:03and also learning from other cultures and other
- 40:07countries. We talked about the same last time as well, I remember.
- 40:11It would be wonderful if all the things we-- There are so
- 40:15many things we can learn from the cultures in Africa and in
- 40:19South America,
- 40:20how their community is.
- 40:24And research shows that as well, if you want to be more
- 40:27scientific, that we have this happiness report, World
- 40:31Happiness Report from the UN, which I say, this is
- 40:35BS because it's only based on money and nothing, and not
- 40:39how people feel themselves because the countries that are
- 40:44according to the UN, the happiest countries are also the countries with the most
- 40:47depressions, people with depressions.
- 40:50Mm-hmm.
- 40:50But the people that are really happy often live in countries with less money, but
- 40:54they are so dependent on each other.
- 40:55They form tight communities, and they help each other.
- 40:58Mm-hmm.
- 40:59And I guess that makes people happy.
- 41:01And like you say, we live in the Western world, in Europe,
- 41:06separated from each other. We have separated us from nature, from
- 41:09the source of life, from God, but we also separate each other from each other,
- 41:13which is actually basically the same because we are part of nature.
- 41:17We are part of God. We are all connected.
- 41:20But we try to separate each other. And if we
- 41:24can, like you said, the big part of the solution here,
- 41:29I'm very convinced about that, is connect to each other.
- 41:33And that's also why I find it so beautiful that the youth
- 41:36nowadays, and more and more people are getting back to, for example, the
- 41:40church, where they meet each other.
- 41:43They talk about certain topics. They connect to each other.
- 41:46And if that church is also
- 41:49an organization where they organize things around other people,
- 41:53like helping another member of the church or going
- 41:56around helping other people,
- 42:00doing that sort of things, I guess we're getting back to
- 42:05a way of life
- 42:07that is more human
- 42:09and more real and more truthful.
- 42:12Yeah.
- 42:13The caring aspect comes back instead of
- 42:16the competition, which is
- 42:20basically
- 42:21separating each other now.
- 42:25Yeah.
- 42:26It's true. I really like these words,
- 42:30because when we start to compare each other, we lose a
- 42:34big part of ourself. And basically, we cannot compare
- 42:38because everybody is very different. We are individuals.
- 42:42And our modern life, of course, brings us a lot of
- 42:46advantages, but as well a lot of
- 42:48separation. And I liked it before you were
- 42:52talking about South America,
- 42:55how the
- 42:57way of life can be. Because in this
- 43:01connection, I remember a long time ago, I
- 43:05had even some teacher from South America coming,
- 43:09and it was great experience because I saw she was a
- 43:13lady and she was
- 43:18some time already in my country, but still you saw she's
- 43:22very different. She's not fitting in this
- 43:26frame of our country.
- 43:28And she was somehow more free, more
- 43:33alive, more emotions, everything.
- 43:36And it was really wonderful to see.
- 43:40And, as well,
- 43:42I don't know much about the way of life there, but
- 43:46I see that these people very different than from Europe,
- 43:50and they are connecting more. They also have this ancient
- 43:54knowledge, this ancient way of life,
- 43:58which really
- 44:00what we need here very much. Because
- 44:03then our life changes. Situations
- 44:07will be more easier. We can overcome the difficulties more
- 44:12fast, maybe even more
- 44:15easy.
- 44:17Yeah.
- 44:20So I guess, people asking right now, what can I do?
- 44:25People that are watching this, listening to this, that are living in the EU,
- 44:29in Europe,
- 44:31in North America, the West, to say it that way,
- 44:35what can I do as a person? I would
- 44:39say try to find more knowledge, like
- 44:43Christina said, in the
- 44:45religious texts, ancient knowledge.
- 44:48And I can highly recommend even going beyond that
- 44:53to find even more information
- 44:56because, personally, I found the Bible
- 45:00nice, very good,
- 45:01but there's more. There should be more.
- 45:03And then I found even more in the Gnostic text, and there's so much going on and
- 45:07around that as well.
- 45:10And if you want to, find a group, a talk group, a prayer group,
- 45:16go to a church. But I find fascinating,
- 45:20now I talked about prayer, prayer groups, and if you don't like the word
- 45:24prayer,
- 45:26go to intention groups, which is basically the same,
- 45:31which are small groups of people that help each other
- 45:35by either praying or, if you don't like the word praying, setting an
- 45:38intention. And we have done that with the transformational meditation
- 45:42group as well, setting the intentions for people that need
- 45:46help. And it's so giving. It's so
- 45:50wonderful to do,
- 45:52and it really connects you to the other people in the group.
- 45:55And it also shows how strong we
- 45:59are and how capable we are in changing
- 46:04reality for real, that
- 46:07everything is energy. We can do so much just by changing our
- 46:10way of being, changing our state of being and
- 46:14be compassionate and help each other,
- 46:17lift each other up. It's not competition.
- 46:23Competition is games. That's what we do in sports, right?
- 46:26That's what the World Cup is for.
- 46:29That's for fun.
- 46:31But outside of that, we should help each other, we should be there
- 46:35for each other, and we should, as a society, a real society, lift each other
- 46:39up. We can't be there anymore saying, "This country
- 46:43is better than the other country." No,
- 46:45all these countries are on the same planet, planet Earth,
- 46:49and we all influence this planet. And Bruce
- 46:53Lipton, I recently saw an interview with him.
- 46:56I guess you know who Bruce Lipton is.
- 46:58I guess he's familiar to our listeners and viewers
- 47:02as well. He's like the father of epigenetics.
- 47:08He said recently we humans are the
- 47:10gardeners of the Earth, the planet, and also the guardians
- 47:14of the planet.
- 47:16We are here to tend to the garden,
- 47:20to the planet,
- 47:22and not to
- 47:23rip it apart, not to rip each other apart.
- 47:26We are here to make things blossom, make it even more beautiful,
- 47:31to tend to it, to like a garden. And I found that a
- 47:34wonderful
- 47:36thing. I think if we can live from that point of view,
- 47:40like why I am here, why are we fighting, why are we having so much
- 47:44conflict? If we stop that for a moment and say, "Hey, I'm here to
- 47:49take care of myself, other people, and the planet and the
- 47:53world,"
- 47:56then, yeah.
- 47:58It's so easy
- 48:01to say, right?
- 48:02Uh-huh.
- 48:03And it's also very easy to do.
- 48:06Mm-hmm.
- 48:07And that's the thing.
- 48:09You just have to start doing it.
- 48:11Mm-hmm. It's true. We are living all on the
- 48:15same planet, and so basically we need to take care not
- 48:19only about our countries, but about the whole planet.
- 48:23And we are the
- 48:26gardeners, how to say this in English?
- 48:28Gardeners,
- 48:30who are
- 48:32planting every day. We are giving out the
- 48:36seeds and,
- 48:38yeah. So if we have the people around,
- 48:43we can maybe even plant something together, something good together.
- 48:48And even to
- 48:50support, to lift up each other, to say, "Maybe you need to
- 48:54check your garden. Maybe something is going wrong.
- 48:59You need to harvest and to
- 49:02put some other seeds maybe."
- 49:06And basically, it's a good topic because I was thinking a lot.
- 49:11For example, in my country, we have a lot of rules, a lot of
- 49:15regulations.
- 49:16And it happened that when you come to other
- 49:20countries out of Europe, for example, you see that they don't
- 49:24care about the things what people care a lot in our country.
- 49:29And so
- 49:30it happened that
- 49:33I was thinking, "Why it is like this?" Somehow it's upside
- 49:37down. We cannot only care in one country,
- 49:42want to save the world, let's say,
- 49:45through different actions, but the rest of the world is not caring about
- 49:49it. And so we also need to have this
- 49:53knowledge, the understanding, the consciousness
- 49:56about how we are living, what we are doing, what we are
- 50:00really planting,
- 50:02to be able to have a good future out of it.
- 50:06Absolutely.
- 50:08Yeah.
- 50:08Absolutely.
- 50:10I think we can conclude with this,
- 50:14start
- 50:17living
- 50:19from the heart.
- 50:20It's always the core message. We come down to that every time.
- 50:24With the heart, we are connected to God, to the world, to
- 50:28each other.
- 50:29So reconnect the heart to the brain.
- 50:33Find community.
- 50:37If you feel alone, if you feel
- 50:41separated,
- 50:42find community. And we know already that
- 50:47some youth is already doing that, so take an example from our kids,
- 50:52I should say.
- 50:53And yeah.
- 50:57Start.
- 50:59Begin somewhere.
- 51:01Don't sit still and say, "Everybody else has to change," but you
- 51:05can contribute by changing
- 51:07your ways if you haven't done so yet.
- 51:11And
- 51:13it isn't like a pill. It isn't like, "Oh, I'm changing my
- 51:16ways. Tomorrow, everything is better."
- 51:19It's just
- 51:23if more people who do this, then you get that tipping
- 51:26point where everybody changes over as well.
- 51:31So yeah.
- 51:33Contribute. Go to your school. If you are a teacher, a meditation teacher,
- 51:37do like Christina, for example. Go visit the school,
- 51:41talk about self-regulation, living from the heart, maybe
- 51:45some religion if you want to pass that on as well.
- 51:50Spread the positive
- 51:52message about connection, community,
- 51:54and stop the
- 51:58separation. I guess that's the basic what it's all
- 52:02about. We are in the current situation,
- 52:06especially in the Western world right now, because of separation.
- 52:10I guess that's the
- 52:14big cause of everything. Hmm.
- 52:15Mm-hmm.
- 52:19Okay. Yeah.
- 52:23Let's conclude with that. Do you want something to add still?
- 52:27Is there something we forgot?
- 52:31I think for today, it's quite a lot already.
- 52:33So thank you for this conversation and for
- 52:37this possibility, and
- 52:40I guess we can continue in one moment, but for today,
- 52:43let's conclude.
- 52:46It's true, we should stop the separation and be more
- 52:50united and focused
- 52:53on the same goal, to overcome challenges, because
- 52:57they are there.
- 52:59Our life is not always blossoming.
- 53:02We also have the ups and downs. And
- 53:06yeah. So if we are connected, then it's more easier
- 53:10to overcome it.
- 53:12Absolutely.
- 53:13Let it be so.
- 53:15Absolutely.
- 53:17We're going to start the process of separating
- 53:21us digitally from each other and from our watchers and viewers
- 53:25and listeners,
- 53:27but we stay connected nevertheless through our heart, through the electromagnetic
- 53:31field of the Earth, and just by thinking.
- 53:34If you think about somebody, you're already connecting.
- 53:38That's how easy it is, basically.
- 53:43Thank you so much, Christina, for today, and I hope we will see you back
- 53:47very soon again. And good luck with all your projects
- 53:51and endeavors in the near future. And
- 53:55people that are watching and listening to this, look down
- 53:59in the description for the link to
- 54:01Christina's weekly sessions on Sunday at 8:00 PM
- 54:05Central European Time,
- 54:07if I'm not mistaken. Yep. And
- 54:11just try it out and see what it is all about.
- 54:14And maybe you'll see me there as well.
- 54:16I'm not always available Sunday at 8:00 PM, but when I am, I
- 54:20will definitely come and
- 54:24participate in Christina's session.
- 54:27Okay.

- 54:31and namaste.
