Transcript
- 0:01SPEAKER_01: Welcome to the Heal Yourself Podcast, where we dive deep into all things healing.
- 0:05SPEAKER_01: I'm Kira, a traditional naturopath and functional nutritionist.
- 0:09SPEAKER_00: And I'm Denise, a speech-linked pathologist and a self-love coach for adults and teens.
- 0:15SPEAKER_00: And we are here to guide you through the transformative process of healing your body, mind, and soul.
- 0:21SPEAKER_01: Which means we're not staying in one lane.
- 0:23SPEAKER_00: One episode we're diving deep from the clinical, the gut, the nervous system collabs, and the next we're unpacking identity, frequency, fate, whatever story we're realizing we've been attached to that week.
- 0:36SPEAKER_01: Because your body was never separate from the rest of you.
- 0:39SPEAKER_01: The gut, the nervous system, the story you carry about who you are.
- 0:42SPEAKER_01: It's all one conversation.
- 0:44SPEAKER_00: Honestly, think of it less like a polished podcast and more like sitting in on a conversation between two besties who happen to also be obsessed with healing.
- 0:53SPEAKER_01: So pull up a seat, no spiritual bypassing, no toxic positivity, just the truth about what it actually takes to come home to yourself.
- 1:02SPEAKER_01: Your body already knows the way.
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: Let's go remember it together.
- 1:22SPEAKER_00: But before I say what we're gonna talk about, we need to celebrate.
- 1:28SPEAKER_01: Oh my gosh.
- 1:30SPEAKER_01: We did we did.
- 1:33SPEAKER_01: We have 5,000 downloads.
- 1:35SPEAKER_01: Which guys, that okay, in the scheme of things, are we in the millions?
- 1:39SPEAKER_01: No, we don't care.
- 1:40SPEAKER_01: We have powered through for what 108 episodes.
- 1:44SPEAKER_01: So 108 shown up weekly.
- 1:48SPEAKER_01: This is this is like thank you, guys.
- 1:52SPEAKER_00: Not just that, like we have busy lives, busy schedules, and we dedicate time for this because it's non-negotiable.
- 2:01SPEAKER_00: And for us to like hit 5,000, it's so that means like you know, we have 5,000 downloads.
- 2:08SPEAKER_00: That's like a big deal.
- 2:09SPEAKER_00: I don't care if it's not a million, it doesn't matter.
- 2:11SPEAKER_00: That's a big deal for us.
- 2:12SPEAKER_00: So thank you so much for tuning in, for always listening.
- 2:16SPEAKER_00: Like it's just, you know.
- 2:18SPEAKER_01: Yes, and please keep sharing with people that need to hear it.
- 2:21SPEAKER_00: Yes, please, yes, yes, yes.
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: So today's topic, I know I brought it off to Kira.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: I'm like, let's talk about fear.
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: This is how this is how we roll, okay?
- 2:29SPEAKER_00: We don't script, we do not have topics sometimes lined up, and we just come up with it.
- 2:39SPEAKER_00: And then I just text Kira or she texts me, and we're like, How about talking about this?
- 2:43SPEAKER_00: And then we just roll with it.
- 2:45SPEAKER_00: So today's topic is all about fear, how a lot of us, I mean, me included, we allow sometimes fear to make our decisions to be in the driver's seat, and that only paralyzes us and doesn't it it doesn't help us heal, move forward, and grow.
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: And fear, when someone once told me, and I forgot who it is, false evidence appearing real.
- 3:15SPEAKER_00: I've heard that one too.
- 3:16SPEAKER_00: I don't remember where.
- 3:19SPEAKER_00: So we're allowing false shit to rule our lives.
- 3:24SPEAKER_01: And I'm gonna challenge you because you said some of us or many of us, I'm gonna say all of us.
- 3:29SPEAKER_01: Like at some point, we all let fear run our lives.
- 3:33SPEAKER_01: We just don't recognize it, right?
- 3:35SPEAKER_01: It's disguised as something else.
- 3:37SPEAKER_01: But think about fear of failure, fear of rejection, fear of being judged, fear of losing control, like anything.
- 3:46SPEAKER_01: Most decisions, most things that we do in our day-to-day life are fear-based, right?
- 3:52SPEAKER_01: Like, what was I just telling you?
- 3:53SPEAKER_01: I was like, oh my gosh, I actually had free time today, which rarely happens.
- 3:58SPEAKER_01: I should be writing emails for the rest of the month.
- 4:02SPEAKER_01: Did I say I want to?
- 4:03SPEAKER_01: No, I said I should, and why should I?
- 4:05SPEAKER_01: Because it's a fear of well, but what if my followers are expecting that email and I don't get it done?
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and it's Friday, and I don't think your followers are like waiting on the email, right?
- 4:17SPEAKER_01: So that's and the thing is, is it what it's not it doesn't go out today.
- 4:20SPEAKER_01: I schedule them out.
- 4:21SPEAKER_01: So like there are still emails for next week, but in my mind, I have to get it done because what if I don't get to it in time?
- 4:29SPEAKER_00: But it's beer.
- 4:30SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it is.
- 4:32SPEAKER_00: And I was, you know, we have a mutual friend, uh, you know who I'm talking about, and she asked me, we were at the beach one time, and she's like, Well, how do you know if the voice is your intuition or it is just like a false thought or whatever?
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: And how do you not know?
- 4:53SPEAKER_00: Like, because we always have thoughts, we always have voices like in our mind all the time.
- 4:58SPEAKER_00: And I said, Well, your intuition is not afraid.
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so if a thought is about fear and shrinking, that's not your intuition, that's your programming.
- 5:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I think she meant she asked, like, how do you know if it's programming or intuition?
- 5:13SPEAKER_00: You know, you can't differentiate.
- 5:14SPEAKER_00: And this is how I I feel that when it your intuition challenges you, your intuition pushes you, your intuition will give you something a little bit risky, scary, stepping out of the comfort zone, stepping out of the box.
- 5:27SPEAKER_00: However, the programming keeps you limited.
- 5:30SPEAKER_00: So if you want to this is how I differentiate.
- 5:33SPEAKER_00: I don't know if you have a strategy of how, you know, because intuition does not have fear.
- 5:38SPEAKER_00: And if it is something that is full of fear and doubt, that's definitely not your intuition.
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: That's definitely your programming.
- 5:44SPEAKER_01: No, I would completely agree.
- 5:46SPEAKER_01: And for me, intuition is just like little things that pop up.
- 5:50SPEAKER_01: Um, I don't know.
- 5:53SPEAKER_01: I guess I just don't overthink it either.
- 5:55SPEAKER_01: I don't think I've ever questioned, like, is this my intuition?
- 5:58SPEAKER_01: I just know and I go with it.
- 6:00SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 6:00SPEAKER_00: And then I mean, you go with it, and if it works, it works.
- 6:04SPEAKER_00: And if it doesn't, then it doesn't.
- 6:05SPEAKER_00: So I think it's just um, but yeah, like fear is it's literally just some I mean, sometimes it keeps people stuck forever.
- 6:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 6:15SPEAKER_01: I mean, again, go back to all the different types of fear.
- 6:19SPEAKER_01: Um, you know, like we've talked about this being a perfectionist, right?
- 6:25SPEAKER_01: I say I'm a recovering perfectionist.
- 6:27SPEAKER_01: Well, that's fear, right?
- 6:28SPEAKER_01: I'm afraid of criticism or how I'm gonna be judged, or people pleasing because um, I mean, same thing, or we don't want to re be rejected, or you overthinking because we're afraid of making the wrong decision.
- 6:43SPEAKER_01: There's so many things that we're doing on a regular basis that we don't realize are fear-driven.
- 6:48SPEAKER_01: But I'm gonna say this all goes back to something you and I have spoken about before.
- 6:53SPEAKER_01: If we are living in the present moment, we cannot be driven by fear because fear is often for the future.
- 7:00SPEAKER_01: Correct.
- 7:02SPEAKER_01: Like, truly, like if we're worrying, okay, that but that's fear about something that could happen.
- 7:07SPEAKER_01: I mean, hopefully we're not we wouldn't have a fear about things that already happened.
- 7:10SPEAKER_01: That's a different type of worry.
- 7:12SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but like I I'm just trying to think of an example of fear that would be present, and I I don't think I can think of one.
- 7:19SPEAKER_01: I mean, unless like something traumatic is happening in your life, right?
- 7:23SPEAKER_01: You're in the middle of a car accident, or I keep seeing all these social media posts about roller coasters that like stop working and these people are stuck at the top.
- 7:31SPEAKER_01: I understand fear in that moment.
- 7:33SPEAKER_00: This one, and this one is a fear of mine.
- 7:34SPEAKER_00: I don't like it, and I'm fine with it.
- 7:36SPEAKER_00: I do not like roller coasters, I am afraid of them, so I'm fine saying that.
- 7:41SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 7:41SPEAKER_01: But it if it's but that's not keeping you stuck either, you know what I mean?
- 7:45SPEAKER_01: No, because I maybe it's preventing you from getting stuck on a roller coaster.
- 7:51SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
- 7:52SPEAKER_01: I'm oh my gosh, if I get stuck on a roller coaster, I'll be like, No, these stories I'm seeing, like Ted's sending them to me.
- 7:59SPEAKER_00: I'm like, no, no, they're real or are they just AI?
- 8:01SPEAKER_01: No, they're real, they're real because one of them was here in Austin at a theme park that literally just opened up like two weeks ago, and they got stuck like this, like fully vertical for nine minutes.
- 8:11SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, new, mm-mm.
- 8:13SPEAKER_01: That's probably the longest nine minutes of their lives.
- 8:15SPEAKER_01: I might have had a heart attack up there.
- 8:17SPEAKER_01: Like literally, they might have had to take me to the emergency room.
- 8:21SPEAKER_01: Oh my god.
- 8:22SPEAKER_01: So, okay, that's a different type of fear, guys, right?
- 8:24SPEAKER_01: There, I understand that type of thing.
- 8:26SPEAKER_00: Well, but yeah, yeah, no, this one is is very justifiable.
- 8:30SPEAKER_01: But like things that are going on in your life, like how much are you letting fear run your life?
- 8:35SPEAKER_01: Hopefully, you're not walking around like, oh my gosh, I'm so afraid of roller coasters when you're not even getting on a roller coaster.
- 8:41SPEAKER_01: Like that's not impacting you versus like, should I make this change in my career?
- 8:46SPEAKER_01: Oh, I don't know because what if it doesn't work out?
- 8:49SPEAKER_01: Or do I need to go wash dishes because I'm so afraid that if I don't stay busy, I have to be with my thoughts?
- 8:55SPEAKER_01: Or you know what I mean?
- 8:56SPEAKER_01: There's so many different things.
- 8:57SPEAKER_00: Or I'm afraid of like the I'm afraid of the unknown, right?
- 9:01SPEAKER_00: Or I'm afraid I'm constantly popping the pills or popping the supplements and just constantly living in fear of.
- 9:08SPEAKER_00: Remember when we read Anita and she went, she had cancer, and she said that she lived most of her life being afraid of getting cancer, and she ended up getting cancer.
- 9:18SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and then she when she went to when she had the net the near-death experience, and her father's soul told her, Go live your life fearlessly.
- 9:30SPEAKER_00: And when you know she came back out of the coma, she didn't have cancer or whatnot, and she kind of talks about it very openly that her fear of getting cancer just you know, basically.
- 9:41SPEAKER_00: So sometimes a lot of people live in fear of getting a disease, or you know, whatever runs in my family, then must I must get whatever it is.
- 9:52SPEAKER_00: So they've been that fear and they try to and then they manifest it too, absolutely, even though they've tried not to get it, eventually, you know, gets to you, and I mean, maybe not all the time, but a lot of the times, right?
- 10:05SPEAKER_00: So, yeah, I mean, but what does now I just got the question and I'm gonna ask you what does live fearlessly?
- 10:15SPEAKER_00: Now that I remembered that quote from Anita mean to you?
- 10:19SPEAKER_01: Living fearlessly, yeah.
- 10:21SPEAKER_01: I think it is about being in the present moment for me.
- 10:25SPEAKER_01: That's what it means, right?
- 10:27SPEAKER_01: Because if I'm sitting here thinking about my business, but you know, I'm thinking, oh, this is what I want my business to look like five years ahead, that's living in fear versus right now of like, oh my gosh, I have this opportunity and I'm being grateful.
- 10:43SPEAKER_01: That's living fearlessly, and it's not letting those aspects of fear, worry, uh, perfectionism, people pleasing run.
- 10:54SPEAKER_01: Uncertainty.
- 10:55SPEAKER_00: Uncertainty is a big one for me.
- 10:56SPEAKER_00: I I think I don't like the unknown.
- 10:58SPEAKER_00: I like to I'm the type of person, I don't, and I'm the type of person who will want to read the last page of the book while I'm reading the book, so I know, okay, I'm at ease, fine, let's go.
- 11:10SPEAKER_00: Um, so that's why I read I read on the Kindle now, so I don't do that because it's annoying to go to the last page, like it's gotta keep whatever.
- 11:19SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh.
- 11:20SPEAKER_00: Um, I just don't do I don't know.
- 11:21SPEAKER_01: For some reason it prevents me from going to the last page, but uh so yeah, if you have uncertainty, just being present, not letting things run my life and those decisions I could be making.
- 11:35SPEAKER_01: The what ifs.
- 11:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and then for for those that don't know, I know we've mentioned Anita Morjani several times.
- 11:42SPEAKER_01: Um her book is called Dying to Be Me.
- 11:44SPEAKER_01: Highly recommend it.
- 11:45SPEAKER_01: Highly recommend it.
- 11:46SPEAKER_00: Oh, highly I've listened to it, I've read it more than 10 times more.
- 11:50SPEAKER_00: It's so good, it is so good that you and I love listening to it because I love her soothing voice, and it just, I don't know, it just like she's talking to you, not just reading a book.
- 12:03SPEAKER_00: And um, so I I love that.
- 12:06SPEAKER_00: But yeah, I definitely recommend Dying to Be Me because it it it also teaches you to be in the present moment and not to worry about the mundane things because at the end of the day, you know, it's it this too shall pass, nothing's gonna last forever.
- 12:22SPEAKER_00: And you know, so and to me, living fearlessly isn't in addition to living in the present moment, is always taking that next step instead of just staying stagnant.
- 12:34SPEAKER_00: I'm not saying overly productive, right?
- 12:36SPEAKER_00: Like you'd need your rest.
- 12:37SPEAKER_00: I'm not talking about you right now with the emails, but I'm just instead of just sitting in stagnation and you know, like five years, you're like, Oh, I should have, let's say someone who wanted to start their business, right?
- 12:47SPEAKER_00: Uh, they're like, Well, I should have started, and it's like five years down the road and they still have not started.
- 12:52SPEAKER_00: I mean, this is living in fear and doubt and the what-ifs, versus just taking the small next step, that one percent, and seeing where it takes you.
- 13:00SPEAKER_00: Because the more that you take that next step, the more the path is revealed, and the more you know if this is my path or not.
- 13:08SPEAKER_01: And that's the thing, like people are so afraid of failure, but failure is not a bad thing.
- 13:13SPEAKER_01: I mean, think about our kids, right?
- 13:15SPEAKER_01: When we teach them how to ride a bike, they're gonna fail.
- 13:18SPEAKER_01: They're they're gonna fail at so many things, and we're like cheering them on of like, no, this is great because you're gonna learn.
- 13:23SPEAKER_01: It's the same thing when we get to be adults.
- 13:26SPEAKER_01: Like, we have to have moments of failure to learn, to grow, to pivot, you know, and that's the thing.
- 13:32SPEAKER_01: I feel like we avoid things because we're so worried about being judged.
- 13:37SPEAKER_00: Um, what are they gonna say about me?
- 13:41SPEAKER_00: What are my parents gonna say?
- 13:42SPEAKER_00: But don't forget, too, it's it's a taboo to because you know, you have parents telling their kids you're a failure, you're a failure.
- 13:49SPEAKER_00: So they grow up with that idea, I'm a failure, I'm a failure, and they manifest it throughout their lives and they just live in that fear so they can prove that they are a failure.
- 13:57SPEAKER_00: But it is just it's like making mistakes is should be should be rewarded versus frowned upon, I feel, right?
- 14:10SPEAKER_00: But you know, look at our school system, right?
- 14:12SPEAKER_00: Making mistakes is not good.
- 14:14SPEAKER_00: No, you know, I grew up where with you know, pen and paper, and you got that freaking paper with the red situations all over it.
- 14:24SPEAKER_00: That was no bueno, yeah.
- 14:29SPEAKER_01: So and that's the thing, like it's funny.
- 14:33SPEAKER_01: I just wrote a Substack article about this today, but like I I called it about Amazon priming everything, but it it came down to like we just want these things because we don't want to deal with difficult experiences in life.
- 14:48SPEAKER_01: And and my thing with fear is like we're not supposed to avoid these difficult experiences, right?
- 14:55SPEAKER_01: We're supposed to trust ourselves and move through them and grow and evolve, but people don't like to do that, right?
- 15:02SPEAKER_01: Like it go, I'm gonna call you out on this.
- 15:04SPEAKER_01: Like you've said, I like to have control, but like does even what is me, what does having control even mean?
- 15:10SPEAKER_01: Like, does that really make us feel safer?
- 15:12SPEAKER_01: Probably not.
- 15:13SPEAKER_01: That can actually create more false sense of safety, yeah.
- 15:17SPEAKER_00: It's a false sense of safety.
- 15:18SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 15:19SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you're calling out a lot, Missy.
- 15:21SPEAKER_00: So sorry, sorry.
- 15:23SPEAKER_00: Okay, okay, you know we're working on the situation.
- 15:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 15:27SPEAKER_00: Um, yeah, I know, and I've let go a lot, like I've let go a lot, and I'm I continue learning, and it is it is a sense of because sometimes, especially when you live in you might be living in chaotic environments, you want to hold on and control what you can, and you think this is bringing you safety, but it's not, so you just unpack and unlearn and make different choices.
- 15:58SPEAKER_01: We all, and this is what I'm saying, not to call you, I'm calling myself out, right?
- 16:02SPEAKER_00: No, no, yeah, no, absolutely.
- 16:03SPEAKER_00: I love that because this is great, because I, you know, we are growing.
- 16:07SPEAKER_00: So if you don't, who's gonna do it?
- 16:09SPEAKER_01: Well, and this is what I was gonna say for those of you listening right now, call yourselves out.
- 16:14SPEAKER_01: Like, where are you seeing this in your life?
- 16:16SPEAKER_01: Because we all have it.
- 16:17SPEAKER_01: Like for Denise, maybe it's control.
- 16:20SPEAKER_01: Okay, it's not that for me.
- 16:21SPEAKER_01: I'm very good with the flow.
- 16:22SPEAKER_01: However, there's that people pleasing, there's that perfectionism, there's that I always have to be busy.
- 16:28SPEAKER_01: So trust me, there's plenty happening in there.
- 16:31SPEAKER_01: But I think you know, it's funny, you ask me a question.
- 16:35SPEAKER_01: I want to pose a question to the audience.
- 16:37SPEAKER_01: Like, if no one could judge you and nobody ever knew that you would fail, what would you attempt in life?
- 16:44SPEAKER_01: Like, I think that's such a valid question to sit with of like, okay, I'm pretending I can't be judged.
- 16:50SPEAKER_01: What am I supposed to go out there and do?
- 16:52SPEAKER_01: What should I try?
- 16:53SPEAKER_01: Because I think that's a big thing, is fear holds people back from doing all of these things that they think they want to do.
- 17:00SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 17:00SPEAKER_01: And I'm not talking about some big grandiose like go start a new business or go be the next billionaire, but like little things.
- 17:07SPEAKER_00: Why not?
- 17:08SPEAKER_00: This is your dream.
- 17:10SPEAKER_00: I think Gary V was um on Mel Robbins and he said something about embarrassment.
- 17:20SPEAKER_00: Let me see what he said.
- 17:21SPEAKER_00: Something about embarrassment to be your like superpower or something, you know, like not to let it oh my gosh, like I don't know, it's just like something like that.
- 17:37SPEAKER_00: He's on Mel Robins, you can listen to it, but like it is important to because you know a lot of people don't do the things because of embarrassment.
- 17:47SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but if you take that embarrassment as something that it doesn't matter what happens, then you do the things that you want to do.
- 17:58SPEAKER_01: And that I mean that goes back to the question I threw out there.
- 18:00SPEAKER_01: Like, what if what if no one was gonna judge you?
- 18:03SPEAKER_01: What if you wouldn't feel embarrassed?
- 18:04SPEAKER_01: What if you didn't have those fear-based emotions and you could just go out and do whatever?
- 18:10SPEAKER_01: But so many of us hold ourselves back because we're just afraid of that.
- 18:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 18:17SPEAKER_01: Um, and we always loved it.
- 18:19SPEAKER_01: I mean, it was I don't know if it was last week, the week before, I lose track of our podcast episodes, but we talked about Wayne Dyer a bit, um, and kind of broke down his six things, but he also talks a lot about ego, which you and I have talked about, and the fact that that's conserved uh like concerned with protecting our identity, maintaining control, getting this whole external validation, right?
- 18:41SPEAKER_01: That's our ego.
- 18:43SPEAKER_01: And when we're becoming attached to those things, that's where fear starts running the show.
- 18:49SPEAKER_00: And yeah, we're allowing it to be in the driver's seat and we're allowing it to drive our lives, to drive our car, and to and we have justifications as oh, I'm an overthinker, I'm a perfectionist, I'm a this, I'm at that.
- 19:03SPEAKER_00: I need to control my uncertainties, I need to control the environment, blah blah blah.
- 19:07SPEAKER_00: But this is all again, false things.
- 19:12SPEAKER_01: And that's the thing, when you're living from purpose, you're not gonna have that, right?
- 19:16SPEAKER_01: Like your decisions are based on your values and what feels right.
- 19:20SPEAKER_01: And this is where it also goes back to living in the moment of like just being present, not thinking so many years ahead of because that's when you get in your head of oh, but what if this happens, and oh, so-and-so is gonna think this, and you know, yeah, yeah.
- 19:37SPEAKER_00: And you see, like, on I mean, you can look on the internet or everywhere, and the people who are actually achieving the things that they want to achieve and achieving their dreams are the ones who are taking that, you know, feeling the fear and doing it anyway, right?
- 19:54SPEAKER_00: Because fear is not gonna go away, no, right?
- 19:57SPEAKER_00: You are going to feel it always, and but you are going to take that next step.
- 20:02SPEAKER_00: So a lot of the things in my business I've done afraid, and I just did it until until they be they became something that I'm not afraid of anymore, right?
- 20:12SPEAKER_00: So that's where because I think maybe like someone listening right now might think, Oh, how do I eliminate fear?
- 20:20SPEAKER_00: You're not, don't it is part of you, and it is in in situations like the oh my gosh, no, no, no, but in situations where you really need to be afraid and run for your life, like it helps you, right?
- 20:34SPEAKER_00: But in a lot of situations, it doesn't, it just holds you down, so it is important to just um recognize that you know what I am afraid, but I'm gonna do it anyway.
- 20:44SPEAKER_00: Yeah, we all of the great people were did stuff afraid, like no one just be like you just gotta go through it.
- 20:52SPEAKER_01: This was just reminding me when we did a um a conference together two years ago.
- 20:57SPEAKER_01: There was a beautiful, beautiful meditation where we went through fear.
- 21:01SPEAKER_01: Do you remember?
- 21:02SPEAKER_01: We took a sword and it was black and we chopped through it, and it was like, oh shoot.
- 21:06SPEAKER_01: No, I don't remember that.
- 21:08SPEAKER_01: The fear is there, you just push your way through it.
- 21:12SPEAKER_01: So that's the thing.
- 21:13SPEAKER_01: Like you can't you can't try to prevent fear.
- 21:16SPEAKER_01: The goal isn't to become fearless, but it's to stop viewing it as a stop sign, right?
- 21:22SPEAKER_01: Like you see fear and stop comes up, right?
- 21:25SPEAKER_01: All of your guards come up, but instead it's like just plow on through that stop sign.
- 21:30SPEAKER_01: We don't know, we don't have to have all the details figured out.
- 21:33SPEAKER_01: We don't we're never gonna know, we're never gonna have certainty.
- 21:37SPEAKER_01: We just do things afraid and we take the next step regardless, and be okay with uncertainty.
- 21:43SPEAKER_00: And that's what I have gotten really used to is being okay with uncertainty because and then and seriously, I mean in anything, it's just that you just keep taking the steps and the path gets revealed.
- 21:58SPEAKER_00: If you don't take the step, the path does not get revealed, right?
- 22:02SPEAKER_00: So if you have a dream, whatever it is, and fear is avoiding you from taking that step.
- 22:11SPEAKER_00: How are you gonna make that dream come true?
- 22:13SPEAKER_00: Because it's all you, yeah, it's with you, it's within you.
- 22:18SPEAKER_00: You have the dreams because you can achieve it, you can get it done, but you can't get it done, right?
- 22:23SPEAKER_00: Sitting on your couch eating bonbons.
- 22:26SPEAKER_00: No, you can't so that's I mean, that's what we're gonna say.
- 22:31SPEAKER_00: Live your life fearlessly, and with that we mean feel the fear and do it anyway.
- 22:37SPEAKER_00: Live in the present moment, obviously.
- 22:39SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and just look at the ways fear shows up in your life and like what little shifts, right?
- 22:45SPEAKER_01: We're always gonna go back to the one percent.
- 22:48SPEAKER_01: Look at the instances in your life.
- 22:50SPEAKER_01: Like I said, I just looked at the fact that I didn't write those emails.
- 22:52SPEAKER_01: Why I was upset about it, because it was a fear-based thing.
- 22:56SPEAKER_01: Let it be.
- 22:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah, just let it be.
- 23:00SPEAKER_00: And do you have a monte?
- 23:04SPEAKER_00: I am brave.
- 23:06SPEAKER_01: Let's go with it.
- 23:08SPEAKER_00: It's on my little thing on my computer.
- 23:10SPEAKER_00: It's a little thing that I have as all of the things.
- 23:12SPEAKER_00: Alrighty.
- 23:13SPEAKER_00: You know the drill.
- 23:15SPEAKER_00: Close your eyes, take a deep breath.
- 23:18SPEAKER_00: Um, no, no, not that close your eyes, hand on your heart, the other one on your belly.
- 23:25SPEAKER_00: Do not close your eyes if you are driving or your operating machinery.
- 23:31SPEAKER_00: Alrighty, we are going to do four, four, six.
- 23:34SPEAKER_00: So we're gonna inhale for four, two, three, four, hold, two, three, four, exhale, five, four, three, two, one.
- 23:48SPEAKER_00: I am brave again.
- 23:50SPEAKER_00: One, two, two, two, three, four, hold, two, two, three, four, and exhale, five, four, two, three, two, one.
- 24:02SPEAKER_01: I am brave.
- 24:04SPEAKER_01: I am brave, and guys, if this is an area of struggle, don't forget, look down below in the show notes.
- 24:12SPEAKER_01: We have the one percent shift that is only eleven dollars, and that will help you learn how to move through the fear.
- 24:21SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 24:22SPEAKER_00: See you on the next episode.
