- 0:00Speaker: I see all good people.
- 0:12Speaker 1: Good morning.
- 0:13Speaker 1: What are our goals?
- 0:17Speaker 1: Making an effort to be happy.
- 0:20Speaker 1: To find a sense of brightness in our being, a sense of value, a sense of worth.
- 0:27Speaker 1: This is what we do.
- 0:29Speaker 1: How do we do this?
- 0:32Speaker 1: By accomplishing, by making goals, little and large.
- 0:38Speaker 1: And what are our tools?
- 0:43Speaker 1: What do we utilize to find improvement?
- 0:47Speaker 1: To make headway?
- 0:50Speaker 1: Many different things.
- 0:52Speaker 1: We, as mankind, have come a long distance from even twenty thousand years ago.
- 1:03Speaker 1: And here we are, wondering what kinds of scents or moisturizers or shampoos, conditioners, what kind of soaps to use on our bodies to clean them, what kind of beer to drink if you drink beer, something from Turkey or Greece or England or Germany or the USA or Mexico or Denmark or wherever.
- 1:35Speaker 1: And yet the most important, in my opinion, ingredient necessary to actually accomplish this task of helping make ourselves content and happy and feel rewarded, is to come to one's own senses, to be here now, present with one's own being in the eternal universe, the presence of what your ears are now discussing with your brain.
- 2:23Speaker 1: What's going on right this instant as you are listening to these words?
- 2:29Speaker 1: You hear multitudes of ambiences of sound.
- 2:35Speaker 1: One feels the potential of what may come.
- 2:43Speaker 1: One hears my utterances, this air that is passing through my lips, over my tongue, through my throat, and everything else.
- 2:59Speaker 1: What is it we know?
- 3:02Speaker 1: Well, if we know we don't know very much, we're ahead of the game.
- 3:10Speaker 1: It's called humility, and everyone needs it because it is a key, a way of opening up one's own self that we might better view ourselves honestly, and take a snapshot, take a moment's picture and say to ourselves, okay, whom are you?
- 3:41Speaker 1: Meaning me, meaning I.
- 3:45Speaker 1: And in so...
- 3:51Speaker 1: being humble, have an opportunity of being receptive enough to be honest when you say hello, that you view with a sense of equanimity, of being a witness, non-judgmental or biased, just wanting to come to the greatest possible depth of understanding of whom this subject is in front of one's mind, one's visualization, one's reception of events as they are occurring.
- 4:37Speaker 1: To take a fair look, and then henceforth to analyze and move forward, positive and negative, both.
- 4:56Speaker 1: We need to foster improvement and continuity in one and make positive changes in the other.
- 5:10Speaker 1: It is learned.
- 5:18Speaker 1: We need all the help we can get.
- 5:23Speaker 1: But the greatest hope one has, the greatest helper one has is oneself.
- 5:37Speaker 1: It is also then, by definition, that which can be the most detrimental, or that which gets in one's way the most, rather than the littlest.
- 5:56Speaker 1: It is a pendulum swinging back and forth through moments of time.
- 6:04Speaker 1: It is what it is.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Coming to terms with what is occurring and leaning in the direction of positive momentum, we can more likely find success in our endeavors, in our goals.
- 6:31Speaker 1: This is common sense.
- 6:33Speaker 1: So doing this all of the time, as much as one can.
- 6:42Speaker 1: More than not is the point.
- 6:48Speaker 1: What is important to keep reviewing, remembering, savoring, enjoying, being appreciative of, and humbled before one's own being.
- 7:02Speaker 1: There is a series of phrases I like to say to myself.
- 7:09Speaker 1: It helps change my attitude.
- 7:14Speaker 1: Sometimes I call it a sacred phrase because it is to me, but in actuality, every utterance that has ever been vocalized is sacred as well.
- 7:27Speaker 1: It is just one's awareness of it, the actual ability to vocalize in the first place, Is not this a miracle, a gift?
- 7:39Speaker 1: We are here now, bundles of miracles, savoring this in one's heart, in one's soul.
- 8:00Speaker 1: We are here now bundles of miracles.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Beyond our imagination, old, each of us, beyond one's imagination.
- 8:22Speaker 1: It is your DNA, not your ego I'm talking about.
- 8:27Speaker 1: It is not the itch on the end of your nose, it is the accumulated knowledge, wisdom, physiological changes of millions upon millions of iterations or generations of evolution.
- 8:44Speaker 1: This is whom each of us are.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Humbled by this, if for no other reason one can consider, pinch yourself and remember, thankful for being appreciative of this moment in time and space.
- 9:13Speaker 1: Learning, recognizing our, my need to remember just how precious everything is.
- 9:34Speaker 1: The music's going to continue for another minute.
- 9:42Speaker 1: Ponder your being and be positive.
