- 1:24SPEAKER_00: Lauren Progner is amazing.
- 1:27SPEAKER_00: She's the founder and CEO of Well Inspired Travels, a luxury wellness travel company, and the founder of Superwell, a wellness education, consulting and lifestyle platform dedicated to helping people optimize their health, longevity, resilience, and overall well-being through practical evidence informed strategies.
- 1:44SPEAKER_00: Now, Lauren and I, it was so cute.
- 1:46SPEAKER_00: We got introduced through friends, and then she literally like jumped on a plane, came out to the IRL in Dallas last May.
- 1:54SPEAKER_00: We went out to dinner, we hit it off, and then we are in New York together over the summer for a female founders event and just had become really close.
- 2:03SPEAKER_00: I think when you find somebody who sees life the same way and is really not only, I don't know, like-minded, I guess you'd say, but just really fun.
- 2:12SPEAKER_00: We we we crack each other up.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: Her 80-20 rule, I joke about it because I'm more like 60-40.
- 2:17SPEAKER_00: We'll get into it today, but it's amazing.
- 2:19SPEAKER_00: And she's really clear on how she describes her life, her lifestyle, helping other women.
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: And I'm just obsessed with her travel piece too, because I love to travel.
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: And then when you can weave in wellness, I mean, that's like a dream come true.
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: So at no further ado, let's welcome Lauren Progner to the Loop Way podcast.
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: All right, Lauren and Sabi are here.
- 2:38SPEAKER_00: I can't believe that we like got it to happen between your travel schedule and mine.
- 2:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 2:42SPEAKER_00: But we first need to discuss, guys, like why I'm in this outfit.
- 2:47SPEAKER_00: So this is like my inspired version of you.
- 2:52SPEAKER_00: So Lauren, I love.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: You guys can see her hat.
- 2:54SPEAKER_00: So she rolls up, you know, in usually in her hat with lots of gifts.
- 2:58SPEAKER_00: So I got her a bunch of gifts this time.
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: You're so cute.
- 3:01SPEAKER_00: And um, you know, we're both eye patch girlies.
- 3:04SPEAKER_00: She gives zero fucks, either do I.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: And New Beach Country Club in my eye masks.
- 3:08SPEAKER_00: And then let literally they come and see some of the older men and they're like, what are those for?
- 3:12SPEAKER_00: Is it like football?
- 3:13SPEAKER_00: You know, they're trying to figure it out, which is really cute.
- 3:15SPEAKER_00: So I thought I was actually gonna show up a little bit inspired by you.
- 3:19SPEAKER_00: So and my even my I mean, I usually change.
- 3:22SPEAKER_00: I came from the gym and I'm like, yes, if anyone I can do it with, it's you.
- 3:25SPEAKER_00: So that's kind of our vibe today, just like post-workout, except you look like you're in full, beautiful glam, like you always do.
- 3:30SPEAKER_00: No, no, no.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: Lauren U.S.
- 3:32SPEAKER_00: walks to the door always, and you're like, am I with like a supermodel or stop it?
- 3:37SPEAKER_00: Seriously.
- 3:38SPEAKER_00: Okay, I'm coming on your podcast every day.
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: Please, let's go.
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: But you know, our story, which is which is really fun, and I said a little bit in the intro, but we met through our friend Ursula.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: And it's really fun, and I know we vibe on the same because of this.
- 3:52SPEAKER_00: It's like when you get a link arms, and at later in life, I'm not gonna age us too much, but like when you find like-minded women who are like girls, girls, who are like, let's like build everybody up, and there's like no one's competing, and it's just like we're all talking about the same things, our backgrounds are very similar with our education and what we're into and helping women and all the things, which I'm gonna have you deep dive into what super well is, but like I'm just so grateful, and I'm so grateful that like Ursula connects us, and before I know it, Lauren's in my house with her bringing her own tequila and at my IRL and with her eye patches on, and then at dinner that night, and like celebrating my birthday, and it was just like this like I think friendship that just was like this.
- 4:35SPEAKER_00: Then we have in New York together, which was even more fun.
- 4:38SPEAKER_01: And it's celebrated your birthday.
- 4:40SPEAKER_01: No, your birthday.
- 4:41SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, we celebrated yours and then mine was.
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: So I'm so happy we're here.
- 4:54SPEAKER_00: And by the way, I stayed in Newport so we could have this.
- 4:57SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
- 4:58SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I was gonna leave for Dallas actually today.
- 5:00SPEAKER_00: And I was like, oh no, no, no, we are we are doing this.
- 5:02SPEAKER_00: So but why don't we just jump in and why don't you introduce yourself from your own words?
- 5:08SPEAKER_00: I already did my intro, kind of super well, who you are, a little bit of background, why you love what you do.
- 5:12SPEAKER_01: I love that.
- 5:13SPEAKER_01: Well, thank you so much for the kind words and wonderful introduction and kind of just sharing more on our background and how we did really become such fast friends.
- 5:22SPEAKER_01: But um, you know, I think when you meet like-minded individuals and you're both passionate about sharing your mission.
- 5:31SPEAKER_01: And one thing that really resonated with me, which you don't find so often, especially with women at our age, is the vulnerability factor of you get what you get.
- 5:39SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 5:40SPEAKER_01: And I mean, you don't have there's no shame in the game of like, you know, this is who I am, take it or leave it.
- 5:46SPEAKER_01: And that's so refreshing.
- 5:48SPEAKER_01: And I really gravitate towards women like that.
- 5:50SPEAKER_01: And instantly I just felt that way.
- 5:52SPEAKER_01: But dinner we like threw up over each other.
- 5:54SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 5:55SPEAKER_01: I mean, seriously, it was like, I mean, we couldn't get enough words in fast enough.
- 6:00SPEAKER_00: And it was just like By the way, one of the best parts of that dinner was like, you kept being like, I need to go to bed, I need to go to bed.
- 6:05SPEAKER_00: And then, like, and then all of a sudden you're diving into your life story, which I loved.
- 6:09SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, oh, we got her.
- 6:10SPEAKER_00: We got her out tonight.
- 6:11SPEAKER_00: We got her going.
- 6:12SPEAKER_00: 20% Lauren.
- 6:14SPEAKER_00: It was so great.
- 6:14SPEAKER_00: It was I love the 20% Lauren.
- 6:16SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I know.
- 6:17SPEAKER_01: Okay, sorry, I interrupted.
- 6:18SPEAKER_01: No, you're good.
- 6:19SPEAKER_01: Um, but more on my background and and super well.
- 6:23SPEAKER_01: Um, so this is my personal brand.
- 6:25SPEAKER_01: It's a community that I have built.
- 6:27SPEAKER_01: Um, and it is all based upon my mantra in life, which is I am the well, striving to be super well.
- 6:33SPEAKER_01: Why the heck not?
- 6:34SPEAKER_01: And I'm here to be a guide for others to do the same.
- 6:36SPEAKER_01: And it's just comes from such a deep-rooted place of my mission, what I want to share.
- 6:42SPEAKER_01: Um, you know, I work with so many women in my community that deal with so many different health issues, um, not even health issues.
- 6:50SPEAKER_01: Maybe it's more mentally stuck in, you know, midlife or empty nesters and they don't know what to do next.
- 6:57SPEAKER_01: And every morning we have a fresh start to strive to be more super well.
- 7:02SPEAKER_01: Do we want to wake up every day and say, you know what?
- 7:05SPEAKER_01: I'm just gonna settle for well or okay and just get through another day.
- 7:10SPEAKER_01: No, I am not wired that way.
- 7:13SPEAKER_01: You're not wired that way.
- 7:14SPEAKER_01: The women that we surround ourselves, like Lori, we're all like, uh-uh.
- 7:18SPEAKER_01: I am striving to be super well in every aspect of my life.
- 7:22SPEAKER_01: Whether that means, you know, am I challenged through work?
- 7:25SPEAKER_01: Um, how do what choices do I want to make so I feel more optimal?
- 7:29SPEAKER_01: The food that I eat, how do I nourish my system?
- 7:32SPEAKER_01: All of the things that make us to be who we are today.
- 7:37SPEAKER_01: And, you know, we are at this, I mean, we're around similar ages.
- 7:41SPEAKER_01: I'm almost 50.
- 7:43SPEAKER_01: And to me, these are the best years ahead.
- 7:46SPEAKER_01: Like chapter two, I cannot wait.
- 7:49SPEAKER_01: We're almost empty nesters.
- 7:51SPEAKER_01: Our daughter is going, actually, both of our girls are gonna be seniors this year.
- 7:54SPEAKER_01: Um, and then we will be empty nesters moving to Austin.
- 7:57SPEAKER_01: And it's just so exciting because I have never felt better.
- 8:02SPEAKER_01: And I just feel like the, yeah, I don't know, the best years are ahead of us, and that's what I, you know, lead with with my community.
- 8:10SPEAKER_01: Um, and it's really exciting.
- 8:12SPEAKER_01: I wrote a book.
- 8:12SPEAKER_01: I mean, there's just a lot of things.
- 8:14SPEAKER_00: You guys can we discuss it's easier to make sure how beautiful this book is.
- 8:18SPEAKER_00: And then when you go in it, it's just like recipes and pictures of like you and how to eat clean.
- 8:23SPEAKER_00: It's just beautiful and like work out all of it.
- 8:25SPEAKER_00: Like, all of this is so well done.
- 8:27SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
- 8:27SPEAKER_01: I wanted it to be so interactive, a visually friendly, fun, because it really is a guide of blueprint insurance of actually, so it's a blueprint for your burnout insurance, is what it is.
- 8:40SPEAKER_01: So that is kind of really the reason why I wrote it.
- 8:44SPEAKER_01: And I want it to be a roadmap that is not only just words and you know, reading, but also just visually appealing of this girl really walks the talk.
- 8:53SPEAKER_01: And she, by the way.
- 8:54SPEAKER_01: Certainly do.
- 8:55SPEAKER_01: I mean, you see through my Instagram and everything.
- 8:57SPEAKER_01: I mean, I have, I don't care.
- 8:59SPEAKER_01: I rock those eye patches.
- 9:01SPEAKER_01: I've been doing that.
- 9:02SPEAKER_01: That was like what I was famous for going back, I don't know, 10 years ago.
- 9:05SPEAKER_01: I would just walk through the airport with my eye patches on, and my husband is just, I mean, he's this big guy, you know, hockey hall of famer, and he's well known.
- 9:13SPEAKER_01: And people are staring at him and asking for his autograph, but then they're looking at his crazy wife who's walking around the airport.
- 9:18SPEAKER_01: By the way, the multi-screen, other multitasking people just don't even know any better.
- 9:22SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and now it's everywhere, like everywhere.
- 9:26SPEAKER_01: And I mean, it's it's all about, you know, stacking your way.
- 9:29SPEAKER_01: I super well stacked through everything.
- 9:31SPEAKER_01: So if I'm working out and I want to get that fresh eyed, you know, bright-eyed, which I cannot wait to try yours.
- 9:37SPEAKER_01: I'm so excited.
- 9:38SPEAKER_01: You're gonna be the ambassador of these.
- 9:40SPEAKER_01: Yes, let's do it.
- 9:41SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna sell the heck out of them.
- 9:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah, they're really fun.
- 9:43SPEAKER_01: Um, but yeah, I'm like, what why not work out or walk through the airport?
- 9:47SPEAKER_01: And yeah, I also do up in air skincare.
- 9:49SPEAKER_01: I mean, that's a whole nother thing that I'm famous for.
- 9:52SPEAKER_00: So you do you have, I'm sure I gotta go look on your I mean, I've been off Instagram for so long, I don't know, but I would love to go and dig and see find that on your Instagram.
- 9:59SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 9:59SPEAKER_01: It's that's something because obviously with Well Inspired Travels, my other business.
- 10:02SPEAKER_01: That was my, you know, I have three children.
- 10:04SPEAKER_01: Jack's 24, George's 22, Lila's 18.
- 10:08SPEAKER_01: And then I say baby number four is Well Inspired Travels.
- 10:10SPEAKER_01: So that's where's Chris in that all?
- 10:13SPEAKER_01: Oh God.
- 10:13SPEAKER_01: He would be like He's not a baby in there.
- 10:15SPEAKER_01: He's like triplets.
- 10:17SPEAKER_01: Like, I don't know.
- 10:18SPEAKER_01: I mean, he's my biggest baby.
- 10:21SPEAKER_01: Oh gosh.
- 10:22SPEAKER_01: So um, yeah, so I have hacked the heck out of my travel life.
- 10:26SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 10:27SPEAKER_01: Because I do travel so much for well-inspired travels and just enjoyment too.
- 10:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 10:31SPEAKER_01: So over the years, you know, I just have figured out these time efficient hacks, you know, super well stacks to stay optimal while you're traveling and really not getting too off course.
- 10:43SPEAKER_01: And um, but I have a lot of fun along the way.
- 10:46SPEAKER_01: And it's just crazy stuff that I have done through my whole life.
- 10:51SPEAKER_01: And I mean, a day in a life of if I'm traveling, you know, I will always walk through security with my food.
- 10:58SPEAKER_01: I have like my bento boxes, so I always bring my own food.
- 11:02SPEAKER_01: And the security guys, at least in St.
- 11:04SPEAKER_01: Louis, where I travel out of all the time, they're like, Oh yeah, Ms.
- 11:07SPEAKER_01: Superwell, what do you got packed today?
- 11:09SPEAKER_01: And some of the guys will like open up my little bag, my little, you know, I have a travel bag that I put everything in with a cooling.
- 11:15SPEAKER_01: You're so stuff in it.
- 11:16SPEAKER_01: And they'll peek at that, and then you know, have my eye patches on, and I'll have my weighted vest.
- 11:22SPEAKER_01: All of that walks right through because I like to whenever I'm out.
- 11:25SPEAKER_01: You travel with wearing your weighted vest.
- 11:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you look at my store.
- 11:29SPEAKER_01: Well, you are really starting.
- 11:31SPEAKER_01: I mean, I've been really yesterday.
- 11:32SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I love because I wherever I am, I still want to be able to have movement and have that weighted vest on.
- 11:38SPEAKER_01: And I don't want to put it in my bag because I need that for shoes.
- 11:41SPEAKER_01: I'm not weighing my bag down.
- 11:43SPEAKER_01: It's actually smart.
- 11:44SPEAKER_01: So what do you take it off and put it through the conveyor box?
- 11:46SPEAKER_01: Sometimes I do, or sometimes I just walk it through.
- 11:48SPEAKER_01: It just depends.
- 11:49SPEAKER_01: Um and what vest, which one do you have?
- 11:52SPEAKER_01: I love the Aeon vest.
- 11:53SPEAKER_01: Shout out to my people at Aeon.
- 11:55SPEAKER_01: It's the best.
- 11:55SPEAKER_01: A-I-O-N.
- 11:56SPEAKER_01: Okay, we'll tag it.
- 11:57SPEAKER_01: Um, and put, let everybody know Lauren Pronger sent you because they'll hook you up super well.
- 12:02SPEAKER_01: I want one of the special Aeon, get after it with stuff.
- 12:05SPEAKER_01: Seriously.
- 12:06SPEAKER_01: Um, so yeah, that that's just like simple basic stuff.
- 12:10SPEAKER_01: Then I always have my ice roller with me and my gouache, depending on how long the flight is.
- 12:15SPEAKER_01: Um, you know, I might do some of this more in-depth up and air skincare, but I'll go to, you know, Hudson News or whatever, get a cup of ice, put my ice roll inside of the cup of ice.
- 12:27SPEAKER_01: By the time I get on the flight, it's ice cold.
- 12:29SPEAKER_01: So I'll do some lymphatic drainage, I'll do like a full-on face mask, I'll do the spritzing.
- 12:35SPEAKER_01: I have had flight attendants come up to me when we went over to Finland last two years ago, and they were like, could you give me a facial?
- 12:42SPEAKER_01: Do you do this?
- 12:42SPEAKER_01: I mean, seriously.
- 12:43SPEAKER_00: I was like, Oh my god, no.
- 12:47SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 12:47SPEAKER_01: Like for the entrepreneur in you there.
- 12:50SPEAKER_00: I mean, yeah.
- 12:50SPEAKER_00: Yeah, open air skincare.
- 12:52SPEAKER_00: Let's go.
- 12:53SPEAKER_00: Because I do the face, like only international, I'll be honest.
- 12:55SPEAKER_00: I'm I mean, I mean, I'm like 10% of what you do on local domestic voice, but international do a face mask.
- 13:01SPEAKER_00: Like I'll put it on and I go to sleep in it.
- 13:03SPEAKER_01: Yeah, like the collagen overnight one.
- 13:05SPEAKER_01: It's an overnighter, but other than like the biodance one.
- 13:08SPEAKER_01: Other than that, I'm like, well, I know it's a lot of it is, but I don't do it every flight.
- 13:12SPEAKER_01: It just depends.
- 13:13SPEAKER_01: But it's good.
- 13:13SPEAKER_00: No, I think it's like insane.
- 13:15SPEAKER_00: I think, and I want to I want you to share your story because I think your story is really interesting of like how you got to a place of burnout and then why you started super well based on that.
- 13:26SPEAKER_00: Because I, you know, we all have our whys, and I think they always say like some of the best businesses are born out of a need, and it's usually because somebody found themselves in a position where uh they needed something that wasn't there.
- 13:37SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 13:38SPEAKER_00: And so you're like, well, why not create it?
- 13:39SPEAKER_00: So do you mind sharing your story of like kind of because it's very aspiring?
- 13:42SPEAKER_01: Yes, no, thank you.
- 13:44SPEAKER_01: Um, I I think anybody in this space uh doing this things, you know, things that we are doing with these platforms usually comes from a place of pain or hurt or something that was, you know, really triggered that reason to rebuild yourself.
- 14:00SPEAKER_01: And for me especially, that's what fuels me every single day.
- 14:04SPEAKER_01: Because my story is I'm a very type A driven individual.
- 14:08SPEAKER_01: I always have been clearly you can see I'm wired like that.
- 14:11SPEAKER_01: You're like wired like that.
- 14:13SPEAKER_01: So I have always, you know, really had these tendencies to dip into burnout.
- 14:18SPEAKER_01: I've gone through it a couple of times in my life.
- 14:20SPEAKER_01: Um, but I would say probably safeguarded my my you know, just protection.
- 14:26SPEAKER_01: I would say solid over the last 15 years.
- 14:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 14:29SPEAKER_01: Um, but there were, you know, some pretty terrible years, in particular when my husband was playing.
- 14:36SPEAKER_01: Um, it's, you know, a beautiful life from the outside, but there are a lot of you know pressures.
- 14:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's right.
- 14:43SPEAKER_01: That's right.
- 14:44SPEAKER_01: They probably didn't have that term event.
- 14:46SPEAKER_01: I don't, I don't think they did, but I yeah, it's true.
- 14:49SPEAKER_01: Um, but you know, there's a lot of pressures that go along with it.
- 14:52SPEAKER_01: Your husband's on the road, you know, he was one of the best in the league, and there's a lot of attention on him.
- 14:59SPEAKER_01: They're on the road all the time.
- 15:00SPEAKER_01: You're really the only parent at home.
- 15:02SPEAKER_01: Um, you know, they get you get picked up and they get traded really fast.
- 15:07SPEAKER_01: I mean, fortunately, Chris didn't.
- 15:08SPEAKER_01: He was usually in a team for at least three years.
- 15:11SPEAKER_01: Um, lots of injuries along the way, just all the things.
- 15:14SPEAKER_01: And I think, you know, my body just got to a place where it was just done.
- 15:21SPEAKER_01: And in particular, I would say the worst burnout moment for me was when my had husband had a career-ending concussion and he was pretty much bedridden.
- 15:30SPEAKER_01: That was in 2011, and um, you know, here was this big guy, six, six, 220 pounds.
- 15:37SPEAKER_01: He was literally the captain of our family, he was the captain of the teams, and I always thought he was invincible.
- 15:43SPEAKER_01: And he had had multiple concussions through his career, but this was just a whammy.
- 15:48SPEAKER_01: And I really didn't know if he was ever gonna pull up and out of it.
- 15:51SPEAKER_01: I mean, it was as bad as it can be possibly very dark.
- 15:55SPEAKER_01: And it was not just okay, sleep it off for one night and bounce back.
- 16:01SPEAKER_01: Um, he was, you know, really having a hard time even just getting up to go to the bathroom.
- 16:06SPEAKER_01: And he was just dizzy spells and lines of the medicine that they had, you know, just to kind of bandage things up and let's see if we can get him to sleep a lot and heal him until he can get back to the body.
- 16:16SPEAKER_00: And they probably weren't talking about concussions and professional athletes like they do now.
- 16:20SPEAKER_00: Nope.
- 16:21SPEAKER_00: Because there are so many brain waves, there's so many they take it really seriously now.
- 16:24SPEAKER_00: But yeah, what 14 years ago, whenever it was like, yeah.
- 16:29SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no, it was they would say he got his bell rung.
- 16:32SPEAKER_01: Like, you're just seeing stars, you'll be fine, sleep it off.
- 16:36SPEAKER_01: Oh god.
- 16:36SPEAKER_01: I mean, it was really bad.
- 16:38SPEAKER_01: There were times where, you know, he we would be in the car coming home from a game.
- 16:43SPEAKER_01: This was before his last big one that he never played again.
- 16:46SPEAKER_01: He never returned on the ice.
- 16:47SPEAKER_01: But, you know, we'd be driving home and we'd have all three of the kids in the back seat.
- 16:51SPEAKER_01: Lila was in her little baby pumpkin seat, and Chris would be driving us back and he'd pull over the side of the road and he'd be like, You need to drive because I'm seeing stars.
- 16:59SPEAKER_01: Like, I can't get us home.
- 17:01SPEAKER_01: And so it's tough.
- 17:03SPEAKER_01: But yeah, he had this career ending concussion.
- 17:06SPEAKER_01: Um, shortly after that, my dad had a stroke.
- 17:08SPEAKER_01: Um, my parents were living in Naples, so I was far away from them.
- 17:11SPEAKER_01: We were living in Philly.
- 17:12SPEAKER_01: I wasn't like close to my own family.
- 17:14SPEAKER_01: Then my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer shortly after that.
- 17:18SPEAKER_01: Three little kids.
- 17:19SPEAKER_01: I couldn't babysit, you know, my husband and make sure he's okay and he can get out of the bed to get to the bathroom.
- 17:26SPEAKER_01: I had three little kids.
- 17:26SPEAKER_01: I'm still trying to drive carpals and Lila was a little bit more.
- 17:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and my parents and I had to get them back and settle.
- 17:33SPEAKER_01: It was just too much.
- 17:35SPEAKER_01: And going back to a type A-driven individual, you know this, like we demand so much of our own bodies.
- 17:41SPEAKER_01: And we're like, I can be enough for everybody.
- 17:43SPEAKER_01: I don't need enough sleep.
- 17:44SPEAKER_01: I don't need to fuel myself with nourishing nutrition.
- 17:47SPEAKER_01: I don't need to train the right way.
- 17:48SPEAKER_01: I was doing all the wrong things and stuff.
- 17:51SPEAKER_01: I knew it, but I was trying to keep my head above the water and I was drowning.
- 17:56SPEAKER_01: So, first thing in the morning, you know, I get up like way early and no nourishing nutrition.
- 18:03SPEAKER_01: I would just have loads of coffee, get that drug.
- 18:05SPEAKER_01: Get the workout going, get check it off your list.
- 18:07SPEAKER_01: Get the get the cortisol, which is boom, you know, just firing my system.
- 18:11SPEAKER_01: And then I would get the boys off.
- 18:13SPEAKER_01: And instead of strength training, I was a big runner.
- 18:16SPEAKER_01: I know you're bigger.
- 18:17SPEAKER_01: I would like run for stress management.
- 18:18SPEAKER_01: I put my daughter in the stroller.
- 18:20SPEAKER_01: We would just run, run, run, and then come home, you know, and maybe pick up some, you know, crust of grilled cheese from my kid's plate or whatever, and keep going and, you know, care for my dad and my my husband and all these things.
- 18:32SPEAKER_01: And then the evening would come around and be like, you know what?
- 18:34SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna have a couple glasses of wine to try and take it down, a couple notches.
- 18:38SPEAKER_01: And then you rate, lay your head on a pillow and you can't sleep.
- 18:40SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 18:41SPEAKER_01: And it's this relentless hamster wheel of burnout destruction.
- 18:45SPEAKER_01: Which a lot of women can relate to.
- 18:47SPEAKER_01: And that's why I wrote this.
- 18:49SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I wrote this book because I knew, you know, looking back, I was like, I knew it was happening, but I just kept thinking that my body would be okay until it wasn't okay.
- 19:00SPEAKER_01: And I would say the first thing that took me out was my sleep.
- 19:03SPEAKER_01: My sleep was gone.
- 19:05SPEAKER_01: And when you look at my car, my cortisol awakening response, it was literally when I had everything, all the tests done, it flipped upside down.
- 19:14SPEAKER_01: And I was an absolute disaster.
- 19:17SPEAKER_01: And I wired and tired at the wrong times.
- 19:20SPEAKER_01: And then you are just, you know, you're no good to any of your loved ones.
- 19:25SPEAKER_01: And then everything, like my thyroid started to go, and I had breakouts, my hair was thinning, I had that cortisol, belly, I mean, inflammation, puffy face, everything.
- 19:37SPEAKER_01: And like, oh no.
- 19:39SPEAKER_01: I was, yeah, I was like, I honestly was like, is this the new me?
- 19:43SPEAKER_01: Is this what is happening to me?
- 19:44SPEAKER_01: And you know, I remember having this conversation, it's very emotional for me.
- 19:48SPEAKER_01: Of course.
- 19:48SPEAKER_01: But with my mom, because she was, you know, struggling and trying to get herself well.
- 19:52SPEAKER_01: And and I was so scared.
- 19:55SPEAKER_01: I was, I thought, gosh, maybe this is what is happening to me, and I'm never gonna get back on the rails.
- 20:02SPEAKER_01: And you know, I I remember her clear as day saying to me, Lauren, I know you're in the eye of the storm, but you will pull up and out of this, and some gift is going to come of it.
- 20:12SPEAKER_01: I promise you.
- 20:14SPEAKER_01: And I I really sincerely believe that, bringing this full circle from what I said.
- 20:18SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 20:19SPEAKER_01: Everyone on a mission, like just like you, everybody has a pain point of why.
- 20:24SPEAKER_01: What is their why?
- 20:26SPEAKER_01: So from there, that's when I rebuilt myself based on all my years of education certifications, because I was like, Oh, I am figuring this out.
- 20:35SPEAKER_01: I am going to rebuild my system and be freaking super well strong.
- 20:39SPEAKER_01: Nothing is gonna take me down.
- 20:40SPEAKER_01: What do I need to learn?
- 20:41SPEAKER_01: Because I've always been very curious about health and wellness since I was a little girl.
- 20:45SPEAKER_01: I came from a family with a lot of health issues, and everybody has those.
- 20:49SPEAKER_01: Um, so whether you say it's post-traumatic stress of like how I protected my body, so I just really dove in further into my education as a way to really knowledge is power, and how do you build yourself back up that way?
- 21:06SPEAKER_01: And went through, gosh, a span of 15 years of multiple certifications in all areas of health and wellness, um, IAN, Institute of Integrative Nutrition, um, Master with Nutritious Life, breath work, um, sound healing, Pilates, neural chimney, yeah, you know, doctors SSRP, all of the things you just, you know, keep building and learning and really created this whole super well living method.
- 21:32SPEAKER_01: And obviously wrote the book, had this beautiful community, and um, and it's like I said, it's burnout insurance.
- 21:39SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 21:39SPEAKER_01: And I still myself have to go back and revisit the book and look at my eight pillars and how they are all vitally so important to feeling your most super well self every single day.
- 21:50SPEAKER_01: And I don't don't underestimate why those eight pillars will you quickly go through them?
- 21:55SPEAKER_01: Sure.
- 21:56SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 21:56SPEAKER_01: So actually it's funny because I'm looking at your little loop thing, which we, you know.
- 22:00SPEAKER_01: Talked about this.
- 22:01SPEAKER_01: My um symbol is also has been, but I actually am recreating it with my whole new rebranding, but has always been the uh infinity symbol for the intention of number eight for the eight pillars because the mindset behind that is every one of these pillars are interconnected to be feeling your most super well self.
- 22:22SPEAKER_01: And don't underestimate one of them.
- 22:25SPEAKER_01: So they range from well-aging to balance flow, which is your movement, to nourishing nutrition, to optimal sleep, emotional connection, social so uh soulful connection.
- 22:36SPEAKER_01: Um, actually it was emotional well-being, nature connection, and am I missing one?
- 22:42SPEAKER_01: I think I hit all eight of them, I hope.
- 22:44SPEAKER_01: But um, I don't say, because I in super well, I don't try to overwhelm individuals.
- 22:50SPEAKER_01: That would be defeating the whole purpose of super well living.
- 22:52SPEAKER_01: It's supposed to be let's live more in our parasympathetic nervous place.
- 22:55SPEAKER_01: Yes, make it achievable.
- 22:56SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 22:57SPEAKER_01: And I'm like the parasympathetic nervous system of rest and digest is my happy place.
- 23:02SPEAKER_01: Like I literally thrive and strive in that space.
- 23:06SPEAKER_01: And we all need to learn how to like recalibrate and get back to that because we're living in a society of 24-7 cortisol drip.
- 23:14SPEAKER_01: That's the technology, the demands, the fast life pace of everything.
- 23:19SPEAKER_01: And so those eight pillars are really how we remind ourselves to slow down.
- 23:25SPEAKER_01: To check in.
- 23:26SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 23:27SPEAKER_01: And I don't overwhelm individuals and sending them into a fight or flight by feeling like, oh my God, I gotta hit all these superwow stacks.
- 23:33SPEAKER_01: I've got to do all these pillars.
- 23:35SPEAKER_01: No.
- 23:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no, no, no, no.
- 23:39SPEAKER_01: I have I've created this whole method and all my superwell stacks for time-efficient practices that aren't overwhelming, that are intentional, strategic, and move the needle.
- 23:51SPEAKER_01: And that's what I have enjoyed through my years of like rebuilding myself is how do I do this so that I can, you know, really optimize my life, not add more pressure to myself.
- 24:04SPEAKER_01: And so with the eight pillars, when I say please touch those pillars every day and how important they are for the interconnectedness and feeling your most super well self, I don't say, okay, geez, that means you need to have, you know, five hours of so much sound whole healing.
- 24:21SPEAKER_01: You need a hike in nature.
- 24:22SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 24:23SPEAKER_01: You need to have only organic.
- 24:25SPEAKER_01: I don't say that.
- 24:25SPEAKER_01: And I'm not like, okay, you have to cook your nursing nutritious food.
- 24:28SPEAKER_01: You have to get perfect sleep every single night for optimal sleep.
- 24:32SPEAKER_01: What I do encourage though is just barely touch it.
- 24:36SPEAKER_01: Okay, right now we're having a wonderful conference conversation, an hour long of great soulful connection.
- 24:42SPEAKER_01: I got up this morning.
- 24:43SPEAKER_01: I had 20 minutes of a nice walk while I watched the sun come up.
- 24:46SPEAKER_01: Like that's nature connection.
- 24:48SPEAKER_01: And that's emotional well-being.
- 24:50SPEAKER_01: Um, optimal sleep is a huge one.
- 24:52SPEAKER_01: If you were to say, like, Lauren, which pillar with you, sleep is like, and it's the hardest sometimes when women are age.
- 24:58SPEAKER_01: It is.
- 24:59SPEAKER_01: It really is.
- 25:00SPEAKER_01: And that's what every time I've gone through burnout, that's what takes me out.
- 25:04SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 25:04SPEAKER_01: And it's the first thing that shows up.
- 25:07SPEAKER_01: Anybody listening to this, I'm telling you, if your sleep starts to go blinking red light, stop what you're doing, figure it out, and figure and make those choices real fast.
- 25:16SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 25:17SPEAKER_01: Protect your boundaries of how to prevent burnout.
- 25:21SPEAKER_01: Anytime I go through anything like that, as soon as my sleep goes, I'm like, uh, oh no.
- 25:28SPEAKER_01: Reset.
- 25:28SPEAKER_00: Oh, and my is I'm very similar to you.
- 25:31SPEAKER_00: And it is also there's usually when I am going through that and I get my blood work done, there's a bunch of other things going on.
- 25:37SPEAKER_00: So it's like me not handling the stress well, but there's also some other areas that are not functioning necessarily where they should be for multiple reasons, including hormones at our age.
- 25:49SPEAKER_00: But I do think just like the piece of like when you go through it and you create something, it's also like you revisit it yourself, right?
- 25:57SPEAKER_00: We're not a sitting in a place of like perfection, right?
- 25:59SPEAKER_00: You're just like, I've had many burnouts since then.
- 26:01SPEAKER_00: Because when you or we are wired a certain way, and I'm speaking because I'm going, I go through this.
- 26:06SPEAKER_00: My burnouts are like great, and then I burn out.
- 26:08SPEAKER_00: I'm still trying to find my cadence.
- 26:09SPEAKER_00: And um, my coach said something to me interesting the other day.
- 26:12SPEAKER_00: I was look at my schedule, and I'm like, why do I where are my coaching calls?
- 26:16SPEAKER_00: I have like one and I usually have packed.
- 26:18unknown: Yeah.
- 26:19SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, something's off.
- 26:20SPEAKER_00: And my team's like, no, everything it looks fine.
- 26:22SPEAKER_00: I'm like, something's off.
- 26:23SPEAKER_00: So I kind of freak out just because I like to like be busy and have certain things going on.
- 26:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 26:28SPEAKER_00: So instead of saying God or the universe, look at this great week I have.
- 26:31SPEAKER_00: Like, I've got time from, I've got space, I've got time to work on some of these other projects, I can go on a walk.
- 26:36SPEAKER_00: I went into like fill it mode.
- 26:38SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 26:38SPEAKER_00: And she goes, Stephanie, that is your protective mechanism because as a child, like you had to take care of yourself in many ways, right?
- 26:44SPEAKER_00: And so you're like, in survival, get shit done and move forward.
- 26:47SPEAKER_00: Well, I realized after it's a glitch in the system and it was a booking issue and all these other things, but I went into like panic mode.
- 26:53SPEAKER_00: Uh-huh.
- 26:54SPEAKER_00: And that is just a you know, that is a defense mechanism.
- 26:57SPEAKER_00: And it's something that I have to be aware of because there are weeks you need to slow down.
- 27:02SPEAKER_00: You know, I, you know, there are weeks I look at my schedule, I'm like, oh my God.
- 27:05SPEAKER_00: I mean, I you how is you how?
- 27:07SPEAKER_00: And so I think it's really cool that you have the pillars too to say, like, just check in with yourself.
- 27:12SPEAKER_00: Like, where are you out of alignment?
- 27:14SPEAKER_00: It doesn't mean they have to be hit perfectly.
- 27:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 27:16SPEAKER_00: But where's your central nervous system?
- 27:18SPEAKER_01: Yep.
- 27:18SPEAKER_01: That's exactly what I use that as a visual because of the interconnectedness of that infinity symbol and the number eight.
- 27:28SPEAKER_01: If there is a break there, you know, or even a big, you know, chunk out of that infinity symbol, then you're not gonna nothing flows.
- 27:36SPEAKER_01: Yes, nothing flows, and it's not interconnected.
- 27:39SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 27:39SPEAKER_01: And things, you know, fall through the cracks.
- 27:41SPEAKER_01: And so I'm such a visual person.
- 27:44SPEAKER_01: And I love that you just shared that.
- 27:46SPEAKER_01: And um something that really resonated with me was when you said the word space.
- 27:51SPEAKER_01: That's a huge word for me.
- 27:53SPEAKER_01: Um, you're gonna laugh at this.
- 27:54SPEAKER_01: So in 2025, every New Year's, I give myself a word.
- 27:57SPEAKER_01: Okay, yeah, we too.
- 27:58SPEAKER_01: We do that.
- 27:59SPEAKER_01: JP and I do that.
- 28:00SPEAKER_01: You do?
- 28:00SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 28:01SPEAKER_01: And so in 2025, my word was space.
- 28:05SPEAKER_01: Because as we both are very type A driven individuals, and I overbook and I look at, you know, my iCal and my Google Cal, and it's little oh yeah.
- 28:14SPEAKER_01: And it's every color and it's well-inspired travels, it's super well, it's family, it's travel, it's husband, wife stuff.
- 28:20SPEAKER_01: It's what we were just talking about.
- 28:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 28:22SPEAKER_01: And I just sometimes I look at my schedule and like, I just wish there was space.
- 28:26SPEAKER_01: Because if I had space, that's where my I create.
- 28:30SPEAKER_01: That's where I educate.
- 28:32SPEAKER_01: I still am constantly learning.
- 28:34SPEAKER_01: I love taking new courses.
- 28:36SPEAKER_01: I love going to you know, summits, I love going to conferences.
- 28:39SPEAKER_01: I'm constantly, and if I don't have space, I don't book those.
- 28:44SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 28:45SPEAKER_01: Or just a lot of things.
- 28:46SPEAKER_00: Let's go to one together.
- 28:47SPEAKER_00: This tell me what one of them, I know, because you would owe them all.
- 28:49SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, I love it.
- 28:50SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 28:51SPEAKER_00: Find your own favorite and let's let's go together.
- 28:53SPEAKER_01: Let's do it.
- 28:53SPEAKER_01: That would be so much fun.
- 28:54SPEAKER_00: Because if you don't create, like for me, I'm like thinking about, oh gosh, but I need to know ahead of time by a lot.
- 29:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 29:02SPEAKER_01: No, exactly.
- 29:02SPEAKER_01: And and you're a lot like me, where we probably just every week it just builds and builds and builds.
- 29:07SPEAKER_01: And I never see a gap where I'm like, there's space.
- 29:10SPEAKER_01: So I failed that word in 2025.
- 29:13SPEAKER_01: So I gave myself a big fat F, Lauren.
- 29:15SPEAKER_01: You failed.
- 29:16SPEAKER_01: So I brought it back in 2026.
- 29:18SPEAKER_01: Good.
- 29:18SPEAKER_01: Space and bold.
- 29:19SPEAKER_01: And so space is back.
- 29:21SPEAKER_01: And I think I'm getting maybe a BC right now.
- 29:24SPEAKER_01: I'm working on trying to get back to an A, but I do.
- 29:27SPEAKER_01: I love space just for freedom of being myself.
- 29:32SPEAKER_01: I creep back to burnout when I'm over extended, you know, just over exerting myself.
- 29:37SPEAKER_00: When you want to say yes too, because you're excited, right?
- 29:39SPEAKER_00: And you're like, I've done a thing too where like before I say yes, I I do take because I'm I'm impulsive.
- 29:44SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 29:45SPEAKER_00: So at that moment, that sounds great.
- 29:47SPEAKER_00: And then I get into bed and I'm like, oh, I don't, oh, I don't want to do that.
- 29:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 29:51SPEAKER_00: Why did I say yes?
- 29:53SPEAKER_00: So now I sit with it.
- 29:54SPEAKER_00: But you know, it's interesting too, you're talking.
- 29:56SPEAKER_00: Um I'm going to Aspen on Sunday with JP.
- 30:00SPEAKER_00: And I I realize I had two, I've had two nights without our children all summer.
- 30:04SPEAKER_00: Now, not all six of them, but like, you know, sporadic, which that means we haven't had a lot of time for play.
- 30:10SPEAKER_00: The old me would be working.
- 30:13SPEAKER_00: I'd have a call here and there.
- 30:14SPEAKER_00: I'd be like, oh, work here.
- 30:16SPEAKER_00: I'm like, or you're right, like, let's just okay, fine, I'll do, I'll do this live.
- 30:20SPEAKER_00: And I had protected Lauren.
- 30:22SPEAKER_00: I'm like, I am not doing anything.
- 30:25SPEAKER_00: I said, on Friday when I'm back in Dallas, you guys can do the lives, you can book me out, but like I'm I'm not doing, like, I need to just play.
- 30:33SPEAKER_00: Give yourself space.
- 30:34SPEAKER_00: And be in the mountains.
- 30:34SPEAKER_00: And like, I love how you said just like be creative because there's so many great things that come from that.
- 30:39SPEAKER_00: And just like, if I don't give it space and I let work creep in, and I don't have in my team, I'm like, protect the hell out of it.
- 30:47SPEAKER_00: Cause sometimes I'll get crazy.
- 30:49SPEAKER_00: And can you book this?
- 30:50SPEAKER_00: And like, your answer, Megan, is no, you're not booking it.
- 30:53SPEAKER_00: But I think it's really easy as women to just want to say yes and to be the pleaser and to say, like, of course I can do it.
- 31:01SPEAKER_00: But is that what you really should be doing?
- 31:03SPEAKER_00: Or need for yourself, right?
- 31:05SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 31:05SPEAKER_01: And I'm sure everyone listening, a lot of these women, it will resonate with them because we are really wired that way.
- 31:11SPEAKER_01: And and, you know, kind of piggybacking off of the word space, I brought it back to 2026, but I added another word.
- 31:18SPEAKER_00: Because I can see the boldness from when I met you.
- 31:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 31:21SPEAKER_00: Because I met you in May, even then, I'm watching the things you're doing and you're you're you're doing it, which is amazing.
- 31:26SPEAKER_01: And bold is kind of segues into a couple different things.
- 31:30SPEAKER_01: Bold is what you were saying, learning to say no.
- 31:34SPEAKER_01: Like instead of yes, yes, yes, all the time, because that's who we are.
- 31:38SPEAKER_01: I'm like, no.
- 31:39SPEAKER_01: Bold comes in on saying no when you need to say no, Lauren, and that's okay.
- 31:44SPEAKER_01: And like Abby, who is, you know, my right side, you know, she's my apps manager.
- 31:50SPEAKER_01: She, you know, steps in and reminds me of that word bold, and you know, kind of just holding me accountable to it.
- 31:57SPEAKER_01: Um, so I think they're beautiful words together.
- 31:59SPEAKER_01: And bold is also like going ahead and doing it.
- 32:03SPEAKER_01: Like, I let her rip, like on my Instagram and what I share with my community.
- 32:07SPEAKER_01: I am as real as they come to the point where it's so funny.
- 32:11SPEAKER_01: Our housekeeper who's been with us forever, she's like family, and also our house sitter who watched the kids when they were little.
- 32:17SPEAKER_01: Literally, she's been in our life for 26 years.
- 32:20SPEAKER_01: Oh, well, lucky you guys.
- 32:21SPEAKER_01: I mean, they're amazing, but they're in the house with us, you know, quite often.
- 32:24SPEAKER_01: They've seen all of it evolve.
- 32:26SPEAKER_01: And the people that follow me ask them on the side, they're like, is she really?
- 32:31SPEAKER_01: Is this this not?
- 32:32SPEAKER_01: There's no way she's like this, or the things that she does.
- 32:35SPEAKER_01: They're like, oh no, she does it every day.
- 32:39SPEAKER_01: All the crazy, all the stacks, all the things out in my front yard, you know, with my red light mask, doing my, you know, morning gut elixir, getting my grounding.
- 32:47SPEAKER_01: My neighbors are walking by, I'm like, hey.
- 32:49SPEAKER_00: And you know what I feel like like you're and me are not gonna be everyone's cup of tea.
- 32:54SPEAKER_00: Yep.
- 32:54SPEAKER_00: I mean, a lot of women I think will look at you and be like, she's beautiful, she's a lot.
- 32:59SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 33:00SPEAKER_00: You know, I get I'm a lot sometimes.
- 33:02SPEAKER_00: That's why I like you so much.
- 33:03SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 33:03SPEAKER_00: And you just have to go, like, you know, and I say this on social media, and it's the only way you can kind of show up, is like, God, I'd probably not like myself half the time.
- 33:11SPEAKER_00: Like, I'm not everyone's cup of tea, but if I show up who I am in the real, in the good, in the bad, not just the highlight real, and say, I do not have it all figured out.
- 33:21SPEAKER_00: And like, I will not tell you I have it all figured out.
- 33:23SPEAKER_00: There's some, I think, days I get an A plus and some days I get a D in different categories.
- 33:27SPEAKER_00: And I think as long as like you can be aspirational in a lot of things, but your realness, which is what comes through, I mean, and when you sit down with you, it's like, oh my gosh, like you there's so many facets of you that I think it's really important for people to see because yeah, you strive to be super well, but you're like, that's yeah, there's not every day that we're super well, and there's not every I mean, I had a really hard summer.
- 33:49SPEAKER_00: I was telling you about this.
- 33:50SPEAKER_00: Really, really challenging summer, but there's also been so much growth.
- 33:54SPEAKER_00: I mean, and I've dug in, like I've reached for tools, like I've reached back out to my coach, I've reached out to my friend who's a therapist.
- 34:00SPEAKER_00: Like, I'm gonna figure this out.
- 34:02SPEAKER_00: Like, I'm gonna figure out how I got here, and then I'm gonna figure out how to get myself out of it and that nothing's linear, yeah.
- 34:09SPEAKER_00: You know, with anything.
- 34:10SPEAKER_00: And I just want it's really important, guys.
- 34:11SPEAKER_00: When you see people on social media, you can't see me this summer.
- 34:14SPEAKER_00: So I couldn't be figuring out.
- 34:15SPEAKER_00: It's coming back though, girl.
- 34:16SPEAKER_00: It's coming back strong, but yeah, you know, it is a highlight reel.
- 34:19SPEAKER_00: And I think that's what I struggle with a little bit because and why I love the podcast, because I've been really vulnerable here.
- 34:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 34:26SPEAKER_00: And shared things that I later on, I'm like, oh gosh, Caesar, am I gonna cut this?
- 34:30SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 34:30SPEAKER_00: Do I want this?
- 34:31SPEAKER_00: And it comes out.
- 34:32SPEAKER_00: No, keep it in there.
- 34:32SPEAKER_00: That's it and it comes out, and you're just like, well, I don't want to pretend that like everything's great, or I don't want to pretend that I'm naturally look the way I look.
- 34:41SPEAKER_00: If I've had something done, I'm gonna talk to you about it.
- 34:43SPEAKER_00: And like, if you don't like that I have, well, that's okay.
- 34:45SPEAKER_00: But gosh, maybe I'm gonna like let you know that it's okay if you do, and you're just my doctor, you know.
- 34:50SPEAKER_00: Yeah, exactly.
- 34:51SPEAKER_00: At the end of the day, like I just, you know, I got a really funny response.
- 34:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you know, we I do have an ask in retreat, which you're gonna come next year.
- 34:59SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 35:00SPEAKER_00: But um, I had someone respond, and you know, for somebody who's and this this is not on social media, this is like through emails, because like that's how I'm communicating right now.
- 35:07SPEAKER_00: So they're in my community enough to get my email.
- 35:09SPEAKER_00: They respond to the email and say, if maybe she listens to this, more power if you do.
- 35:14SPEAKER_00: Um, I mean, you say that your wellness, like wellness needs to cost this much money.
- 35:20SPEAKER_00: Oh, wow.
- 35:21SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 35:22SPEAKER_00: That was bold.
- 35:23SPEAKER_00: Oh, very bold.
- 35:24SPEAKER_00: And my team told me I didn't even see the email.
- 35:26SPEAKER_00: She's not, she's not gonna be able to get the stars laughing and I just said, This retreat's not for you.
- 35:30SPEAKER_01: Yep.
- 35:30SPEAKER_01: And you know what?
- 35:31SPEAKER_01: I that's what I always say, even with well-inspired travels.
- 35:34SPEAKER_01: We're not for everybody.
- 35:35SPEAKER_01: Oh wow.
- 35:35SPEAKER_01: We stay in our lane, and you know what?
- 35:37SPEAKER_01: That's okay.
- 35:38SPEAKER_01: You can't be for everybody, but I do know the women in your community and the women in my community.
- 35:44SPEAKER_01: I love those women.
- 35:45SPEAKER_01: They they know exactly what they're getting and they see the value.
- 35:48SPEAKER_00: And but And they're mine, they're really down to earth.
- 35:51SPEAKER_00: And it's interesting because I think when you're in something, you don't really understand it.
- 35:55SPEAKER_00: But I've have my team lives all over the country in different places.
- 35:58SPEAKER_00: And so, two things when they came to the retreat and then they came to the IRL in Newport, they were like, Oh my gosh, we thought the women were gonna be kind of probably what you see in like housewives of Orange County, or like the perception of what Orange County is.
- 36:12SPEAKER_00: And they're like, that was so refreshing.
- 36:14SPEAKER_00: And like the women that came to my retreat and the ones my retreat's already half full.
- 36:19SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 36:19SPEAKER_00: And I just launched, I think I sent it out five days ago.
- 36:22SPEAKER_00: That's amazing.
- 36:22SPEAKER_00: But the women who have signed up, I'm like, these are badass women.
- 36:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they're the least bit bougie.
- 36:29SPEAKER_00: You know, they're all about wanting to grow, wanting to be the best versions, wanting to be super well, want to be in community, challenging themselves.
- 36:36SPEAKER_00: And like, I think sometimes there's a perception and then there's the reality.
- 36:41SPEAKER_00: And I think we're so quick to judge.
- 36:42SPEAKER_00: And I'm I'm one too.
- 36:43SPEAKER_00: I mean, I'm on social media, and like some it's easy to be like, oh, look at her, scroll, you know, and usually it's because they're triggering something in yourself, right?
- 36:52SPEAKER_00: Like, if you're jealous of somebody, I think you've got to look it into yourself and say, like, why are you envious of them?
- 36:59SPEAKER_00: They probably have something that you want.
- 37:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 37:02SPEAKER_00: And so it's so easy to shut something down versus being open and saying, Well, what if I show up and I'm pleasantly surprised and I get something from this that makes me be a little bit more like them if that's what you want or not?
- 37:15SPEAKER_01: No, and and as we both have, you know, teenage daughters and launching into college soon.
- 37:20SPEAKER_01: And I'm sure you've heard that song by Megan Moroni called Beautiful Things.
- 37:23SPEAKER_01: It's such an incredible song.
- 37:26SPEAKER_01: And it is, I remind my daughter all the time too, kind of on that full note of what you were saying about I say the prettier you are, the smarter you are, the kinder you are.
- 37:39SPEAKER_01: All of these things that make you such a beautiful individual, the more people are gonna hate you.
- 37:46SPEAKER_01: And I hate that about certain women.
- 37:49SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 37:49SPEAKER_01: But like you said, it's usually, you know, something deeper in them.
- 37:53SPEAKER_01: They envy you, and then their way of, I don't know, is to take you down or to criticize you.
- 37:58SPEAKER_01: And I'll be the first person to say, and I say it in the book a thousand times, I say it across my social media, yeah, I am not super well.
- 38:05SPEAKER_01: I strive every damn bit day, and that's what I'm here to do.
- 38:08SPEAKER_01: I'm here to inspire.
- 38:10SPEAKER_01: Just as much as I'm walking through this journey of life, I mean, wheels fall off all the time for me.
- 38:15SPEAKER_01: And, you know, I every day we wake up, we have another opportunity to strive.
- 38:20SPEAKER_01: And I always say, I'm your super well BFF, like striving to do this together, or I'm super well-ish.
- 38:26SPEAKER_01: You're practicing it, you're not perfect.
- 38:27SPEAKER_01: Yes, exactly.
- 38:28SPEAKER_01: And that's what this is all about and and sharing those vulnerabilities.
- 38:31SPEAKER_01: I'll be the first person on Instagram, which, you know, I've talked about, you know, I lost my oldest brother, and that was really hard.
- 38:38SPEAKER_01: And I have not been able to do a lot of contrast therapy, getting into the cold zips because my cortisol, my central nervous system is pretty jacked up.
- 38:46SPEAKER_01: Or, you know, we just sold our house, getting ready to move to Austin.
- 38:49SPEAKER_01: I broke out in hives.
- 38:50SPEAKER_01: Like I had hives on my face, I had hives on my back, like all the things.
- 38:54SPEAKER_01: And, you know, it's like those are things and moments that go on in our life.
- 38:58SPEAKER_01: You know, I'll have struggles with my kids, and but I share all of that because that's how we learn from each other and figure out how to navigate life.
- 39:06SPEAKER_01: And and there's always some little valuable nuggets.
- 39:08SPEAKER_01: So for the people that are judging us because we may look this way and we may be a lot, you know, whatever, take it or leave it.
- 39:16SPEAKER_01: If you don't want to stay in the space and learn from us, then fine.
- 39:19SPEAKER_01: Like, move on.
- 39:19SPEAKER_01: Follow.
- 39:21SPEAKER_00: You know, I've been saying this because it's actually very true.
- 39:24SPEAKER_00: Um, and I get hate for it, and I'm sure I'll get hate for it saying it again, but it's the truth, guys.
- 39:29SPEAKER_00: Like, if you see a woman, I'd say anywhere from 45 on, and you're like, wow, she looks damn good.
- 39:36SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 39:37SPEAKER_00: Not only is she working her butt off for it, especially if she's got muscle on her body, yes, it's expensive.
- 39:43SPEAKER_00: I'm just gonna lay it out there and I don't like, I don't care if I get hate for it.
- 39:47SPEAKER_00: Like, they're working hard for it.
- 39:49SPEAKER_00: They might be saving for it.
- 39:50SPEAKER_00: They might be working so hard because that's important to you.
- 39:52SPEAKER_00: But like, it does take the eight pillars.
- 39:56SPEAKER_00: And a lot of times, yeah, a lot of things are free, but then there are things that take are tweaks and tools and things that at the end of the day, like they didn't wake up looking that way.
- 40:05SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and it's been years of them taking care of themselves, whatever that means to the individual, right?
- 40:10SPEAKER_00: But it's taking them care of themselves.
- 40:12SPEAKER_00: And I think what I not think, what I know and I love about you is like you're aspiring and you're giving women tools.
- 40:19SPEAKER_00: And they they might look at the eight and say, I can do four.
- 40:21SPEAKER_00: And you're like, well, that's better than zero.
- 40:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I gotta meet them where they are in their wellness journey.
- 40:25SPEAKER_01: And I always say that when I do an onboarding with a new woman in my community, I'm like, let's hear what are your goals?
- 40:31SPEAKER_01: Where are you?
- 40:31SPEAKER_01: They may know nothing about health and wellness or they may be a complete biohacker.
- 40:36SPEAKER_01: I just meet them where they are and you know, what are you trying to achieve through this?
- 40:40SPEAKER_01: And like you said, they don't have to do it all in one day.
- 40:44SPEAKER_01: No, you don't have to do all these super roll stacks.
- 40:46SPEAKER_01: Take one, like I talk about in my book.
- 40:47SPEAKER_01: I talk about on Instagram all the time, like my AM superwow stacks or my PM.
- 40:52SPEAKER_01: And yeah, there's maybe five things embedded in a very time-efficient manner.
- 40:56SPEAKER_01: But if that means you can only grab two, do the two.
- 40:59SPEAKER_01: Try the two.
- 41:01SPEAKER_00: I think we're so hard on yours ourselves.
- 41:03SPEAKER_00: And like, I'll be honest, like oftentimes each day, it's like one category is doing really well.
- 41:08SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 41:08SPEAKER_00: And then the other category, you know, I've been taking a I've been taking a bath and a sauna every afternoon for the last four days, and I sleep.
- 41:16SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
- 41:16SPEAKER_00: It's like it's now like this, I realize this concoction.
- 41:19SPEAKER_00: Like the sauna isn't like a five, like a great go to bed.
- 41:22SPEAKER_00: Like I'll take it around four, like as I'm winding down, and then I'll have dinner and then I'll get into a Nepson salt bath and I go get right into my bed and I sleep so well.
- 41:31SPEAKER_00: Is that practical to do every day?
- 41:33SPEAKER_00: No.
- 41:34SPEAKER_00: Can I do it right now?
- 41:35SPEAKER_00: My boyfriend's not here, my kids are doing a lot of different things.
- 41:38SPEAKER_00: Like, that will not be the everyday.
- 41:39SPEAKER_00: But I'm if I'm doing this for four days and I'm feeling great, I'm like, okay, next week maybe I can do it for one or two.
- 41:45SPEAKER_00: But like, you gotta be realistic of like, yeah, there's these things that work, but it's probably not something for me, at least in my lifestyle, I can do every single day.
- 41:53SPEAKER_00: I I talked about this, but I still think it's ridiculous.
- 41:56SPEAKER_00: There's like a 26-year-old on TikTok.
- 41:57SPEAKER_00: It's the only place, by the way, that I can scroll.
- 41:59SPEAKER_00: And I like the long format.
- 42:00SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 42:01SPEAKER_00: But she's on there and she's like a model, and she's like, so um, this is kind of a day in the life of me, and it ends just like, so I eat dinner every night at four, and um, and then I'm in bed by eight.
- 42:13SPEAKER_00: Sounds a lot like me.
- 42:14SPEAKER_00: I know, but I'm like, do you have any friends?
- 42:15SPEAKER_00: Like, you eat dinner at four, like you've got at least a husband.
- 42:18SPEAKER_00: I'm like, you're 26 years old.
- 42:20SPEAKER_00: Oh God.
- 42:20SPEAKER_00: You eat dinner at four every single night.
- 42:23SPEAKER_00: If you're like, I eat dinner at four or four nights a week, I'd be like, I get that.
- 42:25SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 42:26SPEAKER_00: You eat dinner at four every single night and you go to bed at eight.
- 42:28SPEAKER_00: Like, I'm sorry, I feel sorry for you.
- 42:30SPEAKER_00: It's like you're missing out on life.
- 42:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 42:32SPEAKER_00: Like, where's there's no 20.
- 42:33SPEAKER_00: There's no 20.
- 42:34SPEAKER_01: No, you gotta find the balance for sure.
- 42:37SPEAKER_01: But I, you know, I think that's great though, that you're honoring your body's biorhythms of, okay, so you're doing this as a rebuilding to protect your burnout.
- 42:47SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 42:47SPEAKER_01: And you're really loading up.
- 42:49SPEAKER_01: It's like a gas tank.
- 42:50SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 42:51SPEAKER_01: For those four days of leaning into Stephanie, what does Stephanie need to make sure she's rebuilding and protecting that?
- 42:59SPEAKER_01: And then you can go into Aspen and get after the 20%.
- 43:02SPEAKER_00: Well, when we were talking and we're talking about trying to do something, and I said, Oh, I'm not drinking right now.
- 43:04SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna go to walk.
- 43:06SPEAKER_00: But like I have to honor that because, like, for me, I'm like four days of not drinking, your liver's reset.
- 43:13SPEAKER_00: If I am gonna go to Aspen, I will probably have some drinks.
- 43:15SPEAKER_00: And it's not that I'm normally like so, but I've been going, going, going.
- 43:19SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, if I don't regroup and use these minutes, I will burn out and I'll go to a bad place.
- 43:26SPEAKER_00: And that includes like, how am I resting and how am I recovering and how am I taking care of myself?
- 43:31SPEAKER_00: And like a friend like you is like, I totally get it.
- 43:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 43:35SPEAKER_00: And a friend who'd be like, oh my God, you're so lame, or you're this and that, or like, I'm in town, you know, I want to have, I want to do my 20%.
- 43:44SPEAKER_00: Why aren't you with me?
- 43:45SPEAKER_00: You know?
- 43:45SPEAKER_00: And I'm usually the person that's like, let's go take on this 20%.
- 43:48SPEAKER_00: I have no problem.
- 43:49SPEAKER_00: But when you know you gotta protect yourself, it's like, and you're old enough with confidence to say, this might not be what anyone wants to hear right now, but like I'm I'm gonna take care of me.
- 44:00SPEAKER_01: And this is a season that you're in.
- 44:01SPEAKER_01: And you know what?
- 44:02SPEAKER_01: I'm proud of you.
- 44:03SPEAKER_01: And that's exactly how I'm wired.
- 44:05SPEAKER_01: It's really funny because I always talk in my community about mom's weekend at SMU, which I hope you're there with me very soon.
- 44:12SPEAKER_00: By the way, we're we're manifesting our girls being roommates in the game.
- 44:15SPEAKER_00: We're manifesting our girls being roommates, which we fun, we can kind of announce if it happens.
- 44:19SPEAKER_01: Oh my gosh, it'd be amazing.
- 44:20SPEAKER_01: Um, but so my two boys, you know, my oldest one graduated two years, Jack's 24 now, but they're and George is going to be a senior at SMU, but the SAEs have a mom's weekend every spring.
- 44:32SPEAKER_01: And you know, I've been part of a beta testing.
- 44:34SPEAKER_01: I wear a CGM.
- 44:35SPEAKER_01: I've been wearing one for over four years.
- 44:37SPEAKER_01: And they always have me do all these like guinea pig hacks, you know, of try this.
- 44:42SPEAKER_00: Explain what that is, what a CGM is saying.
- 44:43SPEAKER_01: So it's a continuous glucose monitor.
- 44:45SPEAKER_01: You know, I'm a big nerd.
- 44:46SPEAKER_01: I do a lot of testing data.
- 44:48SPEAKER_01: I mean, I I love it.
- 44:50SPEAKER_01: I I live for it.
- 44:51SPEAKER_01: And some people don't.
- 44:52SPEAKER_01: I do.
- 44:53SPEAKER_01: I whoop or a CGM, but in particular, the it checks your glucose and your blood sugar.
- 44:59SPEAKER_01: And, you know, the goal is you don't want to be a straight flat line because we when we eat and things that happen in our life, it's always gonna come and down, come rise and fall, but just little blips.
- 45:10SPEAKER_01: It should not be like a roller coaster like this.
- 45:12SPEAKER_01: That's where the brain fog, you know, the mood issues, the sleep issues, the inflammation, the cellular dysfunction.
- 45:20SPEAKER_01: I mean, I can get real granular and really nerdy real fast, but I will save that for another time.
- 45:24SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we'll have a big talk about it.
- 45:25SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 45:26SPEAKER_00: What have you learned the most from it for four years being on it?
- 45:29SPEAKER_01: Um okay, that, and then I have to get back to moms or considerable.
- 45:32SPEAKER_01: Let me know.
- 45:33SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 45:33SPEAKER_01: Sorry.
- 45:34SPEAKER_01: No, no, no.
- 45:34SPEAKER_01: The one, the takeaways, I would say that it's not just the food.
- 45:38SPEAKER_01: Um, it's certainly your food order, but it's also stress, sleep, um, are huge factors in regulating your glucose and keeping it nice and happy.
- 45:49SPEAKER_01: Um so for example, with mom's weekend, it is, you know, they're checking all my data metrics on the best.
- 45:56SPEAKER_01: Wait, where's Lauren?
- 45:57SPEAKER_01: And they're like, oh my, what did you do to yourself over the last two days?
- 46:02SPEAKER_01: And I man, ma'am, I go into mom's and I'm like, green light, go.
- 46:06SPEAKER_01: Here we go, 20%.
- 46:08SPEAKER_01: And I mean, you're asleep, you're going to bed at, you know, two, three in the morning, you're eating the french fries that way too much to kill you.
- 46:14SPEAKER_01: You're taking shooters with your son.
- 46:16SPEAKER_01: Oh, I mean, all the things that, but you go back.
- 46:19SPEAKER_01: I mean, I was so inflamed, and it takes me about two weeks to recalibrate.
- 46:23SPEAKER_01: Then you're just gonna go back, which is fine.
- 46:25SPEAKER_01: But the funny thing is, it's like when you look at my data, and I do a lot of posts on this and my Instagram and share a lot of this, you know, privately with my community.
- 46:33SPEAKER_01: You look at a pretty happy Lauren Superwell week graph versus a weekend mom's weekend, it's like, whoa.
- 46:42SPEAKER_01: I mean, but it's so interesting.
- 46:44SPEAKER_01: I keep saying, I want to try one of those.
- 46:45SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna use work.
- 46:46SPEAKER_01: I could have brought you one.
- 46:47SPEAKER_01: I put it on Chris all the time, too.
- 46:49SPEAKER_01: Yeah, would you send me a link of where to get one from?
- 46:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 46:51SPEAKER_00: I mean, that's I only I'm the opposite, I'm not a data.
- 46:54SPEAKER_00: Like, I I'm a person where like I I want it for a month to know it.
- 46:59SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 46:59SPEAKER_00: To know, hey, what could trigger?
- 47:02SPEAKER_00: And then that like like I was an early adapter of the O Ring.
- 47:05SPEAKER_00: I'm actually gonna get it again and do another baseline.
- 47:09SPEAKER_00: But like you would love this.
- 47:10SPEAKER_00: I would have stacked with a little diamond.
- 47:11SPEAKER_00: I mean, I your stack is like really cool.
- 47:13SPEAKER_00: What I don't like about it, and I've toppled it on here just as me personally, is like I think it's great, just like I think it's great to do macros for a little bit, to understand where your baseline is, to understand what things affect it.
- 47:24SPEAKER_00: But when you're living and dying on the vine by this data, I see a lot of my clients where they're like, they walk in, they're like, I my sleep score was terrible.
- 47:33SPEAKER_00: And you're like, okay, well, so then I'm talking to the client, I'm just like, but you woke up feeling great, and then someone told you or something told you that you should not feel great.
- 47:44SPEAKER_00: So that's where I think where I struggle.
- 47:46SPEAKER_00: It's kind of like the scale.
- 47:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you know, I mean, this is actually I'm I'll be vulnerable here.
- 47:51SPEAKER_00: So like I've been so crazy this, and I don't love a scale, but like the scale sometimes just keeps you in check.
- 47:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 47:55SPEAKER_00: So I've not wanted to get on the scale for like six weeks just because I'm like, I'm like, it's been crazy with the kids and all this stuff.
- 48:03SPEAKER_00: And I was just like, nothing on that scale, whatever that scale is gonna say, either way, I don't want that information.
- 48:11SPEAKER_00: So like meaning you felt like, oh, I'm gaining weight and I just don't want to see it?
- 48:14SPEAKER_00: Because you always look amazing.
- 48:16SPEAKER_00: I well, I mean, but thank you very much.
- 48:18SPEAKER_00: As a female, we all have those days where you're like, you're blamed, or you're just I'm l I was living much more in the 40% than I was in a 20%.
- 48:26SPEAKER_00: And I just didn't want the I just didn't want the information.
- 48:29SPEAKER_00: I didn't want the information because I sometimes can lose weight.
- 48:34SPEAKER_00: And then I'm like, well, then I'm freaking out because then I'm like, oh, am I losing my anyway.
- 48:38SPEAKER_00: I just decided to to skip the information.
- 48:41SPEAKER_00: I'm like, that's not gonna help me.
- 48:42SPEAKER_00: Like, and I think a lot of women can resonate.
- 48:44SPEAKER_00: Like, do you want that information or do you not want it?
- 48:47SPEAKER_00: Where were you, what are you gonna do with the information?
- 48:50SPEAKER_00: If you're ready to be like, I want to get after it, well, get that information because then that is a tool, that's a baseline.
- 48:55SPEAKER_00: So this morning I I'm like, you know what?
- 48:58SPEAKER_00: I've been living really in the 80.
- 49:00SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna get on this guy.
- 49:01SPEAKER_00: I'm just curious what the last six weeks look like.
- 49:03SPEAKER_00: I learned I was exactly the same.
- 49:05SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 49:06SPEAKER_00: And everything's exactly the same.
- 49:07SPEAKER_00: So so much of it is in your head, where that is where I thought to myself, well, I wonder if I had data two weeks ago or three weeks ago, I'd have been like, Stephanie, you're in your head.
- 49:17SPEAKER_00: You might be living in the 40, but you're not the umpa loompa walking around.
- 49:21SPEAKER_00: You haven't lost all your muscle.
- 49:22SPEAKER_00: So that's where I'm contradicting myself a little bit, where the data could work in your favor if you know you're ready to just kind of deal with it.
- 49:30SPEAKER_00: But I think sometimes it's women were like so in here.
- 49:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 49:33SPEAKER_00: And it just takes one little piece of data to tell you something and you're like, what the fuck?
- 49:36SPEAKER_00: Yep, yep.
- 49:37SPEAKER_01: That will just kind of just kind of like throw you off kilter and then you just uh hyperfixate on it.
- 49:45SPEAKER_01: And I am personally such a data metrics.
- 49:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so it works for your brain.
- 49:49SPEAKER_01: It does, but I also have a lot of women that I work with that hate it.
- 49:52SPEAKER_01: And I see it from both sides.
- 49:54SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 49:55SPEAKER_01: Um, so you really have to look at each individual.
- 49:58SPEAKER_01: And um, I don't check my stuff all the time religiously.
- 50:03SPEAKER_01: Um, but I just like to know because I'm always hacking and changing things and really when you're curious what's gonna affect something like yes, yes, I am.
- 50:12SPEAKER_01: And I always like every year, I always get all my testing.
- 50:16SPEAKER_01: Like I'll get my DEXA scan, I'll do my Dutch, I'll do you you name it.
- 50:21SPEAKER_01: Like I do.
- 50:23SPEAKER_01: Your stool test, everything.
- 50:24SPEAKER_01: The GI map, I mean, you name it, and I love comparing all that data.
- 50:28SPEAKER_01: And I drop it into my yes, and I'm like, tell me all the, you know, just it'll kick back on things that have improved.
- 50:36SPEAKER_01: Like this year, I gained four pounds of muscle, which was huge.
- 50:40SPEAKER_00: I mean that's humongous for us.
- 50:42SPEAKER_00: R8, or I mean, you're almost 50.
- 50:44SPEAKER_00: The fact that you can do that is like you should scream it from the mountaintop.
- 50:47SPEAKER_00: That's hard.
- 50:47SPEAKER_00: It is work.
- 50:48SPEAKER_00: Hard work, as you were saying.
- 50:49SPEAKER_00: You cannot buy it, you have to earn it.
- 50:51SPEAKER_01: Dedication of eating a ton of protein.
- 50:54SPEAKER_01: The amount of protein.
- 50:55SPEAKER_01: So, my goal was to gain every year.
- 50:57SPEAKER_01: I want to gain more muscle.
- 50:58SPEAKER_01: And it's really, really hard.
- 51:00SPEAKER_01: But um, you know, I do a little bit of HRT, so that helps.
- 51:04SPEAKER_01: Um, I eat a ton of protein, so I just amped up my protein.
- 51:08SPEAKER_01: And my goal with my trainer was to progressively lift heavier and heavier.
- 51:12SPEAKER_01: I lift really damn heavy on my size, um, but safely.
- 51:16SPEAKER_01: And so we've just been really pushing that.
- 51:19SPEAKER_01: Um, and you know what?
- 51:20SPEAKER_01: The proof is in the pudding, and I'm like, fire.
- 51:23SPEAKER_00: If you do all the things, and that's something that you know I talk about a lot.
- 51:26SPEAKER_00: Like I have, I mean you you are on Brad's podcast.
- 51:28SPEAKER_00: You've met Brad.
- 51:29SPEAKER_00: You've worked out with my group.
- 51:30SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 51:30SPEAKER_00: So now on our app, we've actually have we we filmed it really professionally.
- 51:34SPEAKER_00: Caesar filmed it, and so it's the same two workouts for three weeks, and it's his thing survey, Caesar, uh, German recon program.
- 51:42SPEAKER_00: And you know, as you go through things, and I think you've experienced this, especially if you're a numbers person or you're you're deep diving into what works and doesn't work.
- 51:50SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 51:51SPEAKER_00: Me in the being in the peptide space, you know, when I first got with peptides, I literally thought they were magic bullets because I was rebuilding my body from nothing.
- 51:59SPEAKER_00: It looked like a scarecrow from my knee surgery.
- 52:02SPEAKER_00: And then watching how I was able to put on muscle and I was able to re-comp my body.
- 52:07SPEAKER_00: And I didn't give other things enough credit, right?
- 52:10SPEAKER_00: So I didn't give my diet eating all the protein and just what that looked like enough credit.
- 52:15SPEAKER_00: I didn't give my workouts enough credit.
- 52:16SPEAKER_00: I kind of gave the peptides.
- 52:17SPEAKER_00: I gave the peptides a lot more credit than they were really worth because I didn't know enough and I didn't wasn't educated.
- 52:24SPEAKER_00: Now I realize through watching a lot of other people I know on peptides, and then I watch the women and men in my community who are on the loop way who are doing our our method, which is very similar to super well.
- 52:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah, their body composition and how they look is night and day.
- 52:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah, the peptides are a simple tool.
- 52:43SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 52:44SPEAKER_00: And I'm telling you guys, I'm double downing on this workout, like I'm double downing on this progressive overload, and I'm double downing on just like I don't even tell my clients to look at macros.
- 52:54SPEAKER_00: I go, all I want you to ask yourself in every meal or snack is where's the protein.
- 52:57SPEAKER_00: If you can't tell me where that protein is, I don't want you eating it.
- 53:00SPEAKER_00: It's really simple.
- 53:01SPEAKER_00: Other than that, I don't care.
- 53:02SPEAKER_00: Do whatever you want.
- 53:03SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 53:03SPEAKER_00: And it works.
- 53:04SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 53:04SPEAKER_01: No, you're exactly right.
- 53:06SPEAKER_01: And that's what I always teach with the Super Well Living Method is the foundation is the cake.
- 53:11SPEAKER_01: I'm a very visual person and I that's how I teach too.
- 53:15SPEAKER_01: It is the cake.
- 53:16SPEAKER_01: It is all the beautiful, wonderful ingredients.
- 53:18SPEAKER_01: It's the butter, it's the sugar, it's the flower, it's all that and from the lifestyle factor.
- 53:23SPEAKER_01: And then the icing, the sparkle, and all of that are the peptides and the HRT.
- 53:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 53:28SPEAKER_01: And that is all not going to be salad, delicious tasting cake if you don't have that wonderful base in place.
- 53:35SPEAKER_01: And so you have to formulate that.
- 53:38SPEAKER_01: And then it's like, oh my God, the peptides and the HRT just are like, woo! It just like explodes and it's it's pure super well magic in your system.
- 53:46SPEAKER_01: But you know, Chris and myself have been using peptides for probably 10 to 12 years because he really had to rebuild his body after being in that brain.
- 53:56SPEAKER_01: And his brain, everything.
- 53:57SPEAKER_01: I mean, he played for 20 plush years and all the concussions, and he had 16 surgeries.
- 54:03SPEAKER_01: And the funny thing is, in our house, I'm always the guinea pig.
- 54:06SPEAKER_01: He's like, you try that, and if something happens to you, then I'll know.
- 54:11SPEAKER_01: You're like, oh, I see how it is.
- 54:12SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, exactly.
- 54:13SPEAKER_01: So I've always been the guinea pig.
- 54:14SPEAKER_00: He's the guy that he's in like literally like everyone on the boat, he's he's got his light vest on, he's got everything like all of it.
- 54:21SPEAKER_01: Let's see what happens to you.
- 54:22SPEAKER_01: Hopefully, Lauren's okay.
- 54:24SPEAKER_01: Yeah, exactly.
- 54:25SPEAKER_01: So I think I'm you know sitting here pretty strong, super well.
- 54:28SPEAKER_01: You're very strong.
- 54:29SPEAKER_01: Um, you know, the uh so the peptides, you know, I mean, I've been stacking for a long time.
- 54:36SPEAKER_01: And I really, you know, I love what you do in your community, and I watch it all, and it's brilliant.
- 54:42SPEAKER_01: And um, because it is very much a method and a cycle of am I, you know, rebuilding, you know, my mitochondrial health?
- 54:51SPEAKER_01: Am I rebuilding from a cognitive side?
- 54:53SPEAKER_01: Am I rebuilding my sleep?
- 54:55SPEAKER_01: Am I, you know, trying to lean out?
- 54:57SPEAKER_01: Am I trying to do muscle gains?
- 54:59SPEAKER_01: All of the ways that we can use these stacks.
- 55:02SPEAKER_01: And um, you know, we've worked with an incredible doctor for a long time.
- 55:06SPEAKER_01: And he is kind of like the OG and learned a lot through, you know, just working with him and and trying different things.
- 55:14SPEAKER_01: You gotta really try.
- 55:15SPEAKER_01: But giving breaks.
- 55:16SPEAKER_01: Like right now, I just have stopped everything because I just want to reset.
- 55:20SPEAKER_01: And I'm so excited because we've been doing a lot of traveling and everything, and I'm like so excited.
- 55:25SPEAKER_01: I'm like a little like mad scientist on, ooh, here's what I'm gonna go for.
- 55:28SPEAKER_00: You're set.
- 55:29SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's how I was went off of almost everything.
- 55:31SPEAKER_00: I was on two peptides for the lot for the summer.
- 55:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 55:34SPEAKER_00: And I got to go back on them, and when I say get, I got to go back on them, and I was like Christmas morning.
- 55:38SPEAKER_00: I was like, because they're my I stay on a lower.
- 55:40SPEAKER_01: What are what is your favorite?
- 55:41SPEAKER_00: So right now, my like what I'm kind of always on.
- 55:44SPEAKER_00: So I'm always on GHKCU.
- 55:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 55:46SPEAKER_00: Except when I cycle off.
- 55:47SPEAKER_00: So when I say I'm always on.
- 55:49SPEAKER_00: So you stay on GHKCU all the time.
- 55:52SPEAKER_00: Well, I take a month off.
- 55:53SPEAKER_00: So you do three, you do three months on, one month off.
- 55:55SPEAKER_00: So I always cycle them.
- 55:56SPEAKER_00: So when I say I'm on them, guys, it means I'm every cycle when I'm on them.
- 56:00SPEAKER_00: I take a month off, but I'm on it.
- 56:02SPEAKER_00: They're on my regular cycles.
- 56:03SPEAKER_00: The studies show you can take a you can take a lot.
- 56:05SPEAKER_00: So I can do it seven days a week.
- 56:07SPEAKER_00: You can do 2.5 milligrams.
- 56:09SPEAKER_00: Like you can, you can push that peptide.
- 56:10SPEAKER_00: So I push that peptide.
- 56:12SPEAKER_00: I'm always on thymus alpha one for my immunity, for the travel, for my so good.
- 56:17SPEAKER_00: It works really well for my um just keeping me in homeostasis.
- 56:21SPEAKER_00: I'm like, not gonna write, I'm like rarely ever sick.
- 56:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 56:24SPEAKER_00: Um, I stay on KPV.
- 56:26SPEAKER_00: Yep.
- 56:26SPEAKER_00: My gut.
- 56:27SPEAKER_00: Like it is so healing for me.
- 56:29SPEAKER_00: My skin.
- 56:30SPEAKER_00: People underestimate that one, and I think that's such a powerful, like such a and anyone who's like, if you're gonna put your child on Accutane, I'm telling you right now, try KPV first.
- 56:40SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 56:40SPEAKER_00: It works so well.
- 56:41SPEAKER_00: So those three, I'm trying to think what I Matsu.
- 56:44SPEAKER_00: I'm uh so no, this is an instrument with Matsy.
- 56:46SPEAKER_00: So I'm on um psalanc, I love.
- 56:48SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 56:49SPEAKER_00: So I'm back on Celank.
- 56:50SPEAKER_00: So those are, and then NAD when I'm not doing a mitochondria thing.
- 56:54SPEAKER_00: And then a microdose of a GLP when I'm on and off of it.
- 56:56SPEAKER_00: So I went off of it this summer.
- 56:58SPEAKER_00: I was on Pavamino and Sloop, and I just got back on a micro microdose of my I'm actually on lute-lean right now.
- 57:04SPEAKER_00: So bunch of septi.
- 57:06SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 57:06SPEAKER_00: So that's what I'm on.
- 57:08SPEAKER_00: Now then I get excited because next month I'm allowed to do my mitochondria reset.
- 57:13SPEAKER_00: So I'll do my MOTC and my SS31.
- 57:15SPEAKER_00: So I do that only three to four times a year.
- 57:18SPEAKER_00: So right now I'm doing it in the fall.
- 57:20SPEAKER_00: I do it in January and do it in May.
- 57:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 57:22SPEAKER_00: It's the best.
- 57:23SPEAKER_00: And so, and then like I won't do NAD while I'm doing that.
- 57:26SPEAKER_01: So that, but I'm also NAD and MOTC can really I it's so funny because you know, I push the envelope a lot of times with different things too, and I'm like, oh darn it, what did I do?
- 57:38SPEAKER_01: You know, because I get so excited for which is very common, you know, like the my the Matsy and like doing the I love to cycle NAD, you know, and I'll do injections or I'll do it through an IV sometimes, but oh my gosh, like not that long ago, I really overoptimized my system.
- 57:55SPEAKER_01: And which you can.
- 57:56SPEAKER_01: You can too.
- 57:57SPEAKER_01: And we're already wired like that.
- 57:59SPEAKER_01: And Chris is like, good God, woman, put that throwing stuff away, like stop.
- 58:03SPEAKER_01: And then you have to recalibrate.
- 58:05SPEAKER_01: And then, you know, I was bringing the DASP in at night and trying to reset and just get my everything back and flow.
- 58:12SPEAKER_01: And it's okay because I know my body so you've been doing it for a long time.
- 58:15SPEAKER_01: Yes, but for some people that don't know, they're like, oh my God, what did I do?
- 58:20SPEAKER_01: They they could really freak out.
- 58:21SPEAKER_00: Well, me being on six peptides, like I have my clients are I only start them on two and then on good behavior.
- 58:30SPEAKER_00: Like if they want to throw an NAD a month into it.
- 58:32SPEAKER_00: So, like, but I've been doing this for you know two and a half, three years, not as long as you have, but my body, I know what and I know what to stop.
- 58:40SPEAKER_00: Like, yes, I would never do like five amino NAD and go on a mitochondria reset.
- 58:46SPEAKER_00: Like, what are we doing here?
- 58:47SPEAKER_00: No.
- 58:48SPEAKER_00: So I feel like that's where, or when I, you know, off of Celank, I'm like, I'm gonna try dihexa.
- 58:53SPEAKER_00: Like, so I just kind of plug and play a little bit, and then I take breaks.
- 58:56SPEAKER_00: Like I do take breaks, but the ones that I use regularly, especially the KPV and the TA1, I'd say I almost treat it like a multivitamin.
- 59:07SPEAKER_00: Yep.
- 59:08SPEAKER_00: Or my probiotic, it's just like it's in my rotation.
- 59:10SPEAKER_00: So like I don't look at when I look at it, it's like they're not fun or sexy, they're just they're just part of what I do.
- 59:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 59:16SPEAKER_00: Okay, Caesar gave me five minutes, 10 minutes ago.
- 59:18SPEAKER_00: So on that note, you're gonna be in rapid fire, which is kind of like I love it.
- 59:21SPEAKER_00: Okay, so we if we could go back to 20-ish year-old Lauren, what advice would you give her?
- 59:30SPEAKER_01: Oh, this is a great question.
- 59:33SPEAKER_01: I would say, okay, number one, don't be so hard on yourself.
- 59:37SPEAKER_01: Uh like be gentle, like be kind and to yourself and really listen to the cues.
- 59:46SPEAKER_01: I always talk about in my book the word biorhythm of you know, just really listening to that rhythm, that symphony that's trying to play in your body from the mind, body, and the spirit.
- 59:58SPEAKER_01: And that's kindness.
- 1:00:00SPEAKER_01: Like that should be a beautiful symphony that plays wonderful music, that's in flow and balance.
- 1:00:06SPEAKER_01: And you know, I'm kind of like doing the infinity symbol here, but really listening to those cues and stop beating yourself up, like stop trying so damn hard.
- 1:00:16SPEAKER_01: Stop living from the intellect, yes.
- 1:00:18SPEAKER_01: You know, like you I've never felt like I guess I've looked better, like less inflammation and all the things.
- 1:00:25SPEAKER_01: So that was yeah, and um, so I would say, yeah, just be kinder to yourself and um that would probably be the the best.
- 1:00:35SPEAKER_00: And that's like what we all can use right now.
- 1:00:36SPEAKER_00: Like it's great, it's great words of advice for our daughters, you know, for 20-year-old you for all our listeners, like just be kinder to yourself for sure.
- 1:00:44SPEAKER_00: All right, this would be really hard for you.
- 1:00:46SPEAKER_00: This would be your like the hardest one because you only can pick one.
- 1:00:48SPEAKER_00: Oh god, I know you have it.
- 1:00:50SPEAKER_00: I know what's one daily non-negotiable for you?
- 1:00:54SPEAKER_00: Because I'm sure you have like 20.
- 1:00:56SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:00:57SPEAKER_01: I would probably have to say my morning gut elixir.
- 1:01:02SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah.
- 1:01:03SPEAKER_01: And it's uh very intentional.
- 1:01:06SPEAKER_01: Uh you're making this, right?
- 1:01:08SPEAKER_01: I I make it all.
- 1:01:09SPEAKER_01: Yes, but you're about the formula.
- 1:01:10SPEAKER_01: Formulation, because I can't wait, by the way.
- 1:01:12SPEAKER_00: I will be you love my protein.
- 1:01:14SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna be the endorsement.
- 1:01:15SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna be the ambassador.
- 1:01:17SPEAKER_00: That's okay.
- 1:01:17SPEAKER_00: We're gonna be the ambassador of um your elixir.
- 1:01:19SPEAKER_00: You can be the ambassador of my protein.
- 1:01:21SPEAKER_01: Yep.
- 1:01:21SPEAKER_01: Yep.
- 1:01:21SPEAKER_01: It's super well rise, is what it's gonna be called.
- 1:01:24SPEAKER_01: Um, and I love the pack.
- 1:01:26SPEAKER_01: It's so cute.
- 1:01:26SPEAKER_01: Like I have such fun packaging.
- 1:01:29SPEAKER_01: Um, but I'm selfishly so excited to have it because all the ingredients that I have on my bathroom counter are gonna be in one little packet, one canister.
- 1:01:38SPEAKER_01: Um, very intentional, like just next level ingredients.
- 1:01:43SPEAKER_01: Um and so I am so excited to have that.
- 1:01:47SPEAKER_01: But you know, you really protecting your gut by microbiome first thing in the morning.
- 1:01:52SPEAKER_01: Um, it's the first thing that touches my gut.
- 1:01:54SPEAKER_01: I I literally, as I said, I'm such a visual person on what are you doing to cushion your gut so that you're preventing leaky gut and how are you rebuilding, you know, that is your second brain from a nutritional standpoint.
- 1:02:07SPEAKER_01: I I can get really nerdy and detailed on this.
- 1:02:10SPEAKER_01: So I try to like dumb it down for my community, but it's like a fishing net.
- 1:02:14SPEAKER_01: So if you have all these holes from a nutritional standpoint, nothing is going to stay, it's not going to absorb.
- 1:02:20SPEAKER_01: They want to know how do you get that superwow glow, Lauren?
- 1:02:22SPEAKER_01: What do you do?
- 1:02:23SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, it's the nourishing nutrition and the vitamins and the minerals and all the things.
- 1:02:29SPEAKER_01: How is it absorbing?
- 1:02:30SPEAKER_01: Well, it's absorbing because that fishing net is so strong.
- 1:02:33SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 1:02:34SPEAKER_01: And it starts with first thing in the morning, having that morning gut elixir, very smart, strategic, and intentional with those ingredients.
- 1:02:40SPEAKER_01: When do I get it?
- 1:02:41SPEAKER_01: Oh my God.
- 1:02:42SPEAKER_01: It's well, we're gonna probably launch it at Secret Squirrel, but I'll let you know.
- 1:02:45SPEAKER_00: When you have samples and stuff, yes, I want I would love some.
- 1:02:48SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 1:02:48SPEAKER_01: And there's gonna be three rituals, and because that's part of my system.
- 1:02:52SPEAKER_01: Yeah, each one solves a problem and um are gonna be, yeah, very, very expensive.
- 1:02:56SPEAKER_00: And when you have it, I want you back on here too.
- 1:02:58SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 1:02:58SPEAKER_01: And we'll obviously carry it and my favorite.
- 1:03:01SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, I love your protein.
- 1:03:03SPEAKER_01: I'm known for that.
- 1:03:03SPEAKER_01: You guys see on Instagram all the time.
- 1:03:05SPEAKER_01: I always have that's another one of my hacks, yeah, hacks when I travel in Super Rowl Stacks is I always get my matcha and then I have my little loop ziploc bag, and which I forgot it for this trip, and I was like, no, but I was like, oh, I'm gonna see stuff.
- 1:03:19SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 1:03:19SPEAKER_01: I'm like, here's a bag.
- 1:03:20SPEAKER_01: Yes, keep me protein forward all the time, getting those muscle gains.
- 1:03:24SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 1:03:24SPEAKER_01: But I'll you know, take a scooper in and then I'm my frother.
- 1:03:28SPEAKER_01: I'll be at the airport and be like, what the hell are you doing?
- 1:03:30SPEAKER_01: It's so damn good though.
- 1:03:31SPEAKER_01: Isn't it good?
- 1:03:32SPEAKER_00: And your protein, like that vanilla and so well, and I love that it's so thin because I have tummy issues.
- 1:03:38SPEAKER_00: Like if I drink like a heavy protein thing that that's not a way isolate, it's like yeah, it's just it's easy.
- 1:03:43SPEAKER_00: It's great on pancakes.
- 1:03:44SPEAKER_01: You should play cooking with it.
- 1:03:45SPEAKER_01: It's a good cooking one, too.
- 1:03:47SPEAKER_01: You know what?
- 1:03:47SPEAKER_01: I am gonna be doing a lot of recipes for the whole rebrand.
- 1:03:51SPEAKER_01: So I'm gonna I put it in everything.
- 1:03:53SPEAKER_01: Like I would love that more protein the better.
- 1:03:55SPEAKER_00: So okay, so now we're this is probably gonna lean a little bit more into your 20%.
- 1:03:58SPEAKER_00: Oh, yes.
- 1:03:59SPEAKER_00: Um, so like what's like I'm not gonna call it daily, but like what's like something that is a guilty pleasure that's like not really so guilty in the big piece of life.
- 1:04:09SPEAKER_01: Oh gosh.
- 1:04:10SPEAKER_01: I mean, I love leaning into the 20%.
- 1:04:13SPEAKER_01: I I just shout it from the rooftops, it's all over my book, too.
- 1:04:16SPEAKER_01: You gotta enjoy life and give yourself grace.
- 1:04:19SPEAKER_01: Um, I always say I'm 80% nerd, 20% Barbie.
- 1:04:23SPEAKER_01: Um, yeah.
- 1:04:24SPEAKER_01: That's good.
- 1:04:24SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:04:25SPEAKER_01: And um, I really love the 80% nerd, though.
- 1:04:28SPEAKER_01: That's like my happy place most of the time.
- 1:04:30SPEAKER_01: Um and but 20% indulgence, I would say definitely clean tequila.
- 1:04:35SPEAKER_01: I am such a tequila guy.
- 1:04:36SPEAKER_01: That's that's another bonding you and I have.
- 1:04:38SPEAKER_01: Yes, yes.
- 1:04:39SPEAKER_01: We're gonna get to Mexico and have some.
- 1:04:41SPEAKER_00: And by the way, I invited myself to Mexico.
- 1:04:42SPEAKER_00: So if we're if we're on here again and I have not gotten invited, we're gonna hold this one accountable.
- 1:04:48SPEAKER_01: You're coming with me for sure.
- 1:04:49SPEAKER_01: Well, it's so much easier.
- 1:04:50SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and a good chocolate chip cookie with sea salt.
- 1:04:53SPEAKER_01: That's what I always like.
- 1:04:54SPEAKER_01: We have a lot in common.
- 1:04:55SPEAKER_01: Okay, that's I would that's and I love french fries.
- 1:04:57SPEAKER_01: Like my best friends.
- 1:04:58SPEAKER_01: That's fine, you know that's fine too.
- 1:04:59SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, my best friend's in Dallas.
- 1:05:01SPEAKER_01: I have a group of girls.
- 1:05:02SPEAKER_01: We always get tequila and french fries.
- 1:05:04SPEAKER_01: Like it's easy.
- 1:05:05SPEAKER_01: Can I get invited to that group too?
- 1:05:06SPEAKER_01: Yes! You need to meet them.
- 1:05:08SPEAKER_00: They would love you.
- 1:05:08SPEAKER_00: Oh, when we're in Dallas.
- 1:05:09SPEAKER_00: We're yeah, we're making Dallas happy.
- 1:05:11SPEAKER_00: By the way, Lauren's gonna come to our IRL when we get the information about that.
- 1:05:15SPEAKER_00: It'll probably be out by the time this comes out.
- 1:05:17SPEAKER_01: Do you have the or yeah, October, which we won't?
- 1:05:19SPEAKER_01: I'll let you know exactly the date.
- 1:05:20SPEAKER_01: We're gonna do that'll be such a fun weekend.
- 1:05:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:05:22SPEAKER_01: That's gonna be the football game.
- 1:05:23SPEAKER_01: We're gonna do the boulevard, we're gonna do all the things.
- 1:05:25SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:05:25SPEAKER_00: I'm showing Michaela to come that weekend too.
- 1:05:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:05:27SPEAKER_00: Um, okay, so my we're having such fun.
- 1:05:30SPEAKER_00: What is my next question?
- 1:05:31SPEAKER_00: I get it.
- 1:05:31SPEAKER_00: Um, okay, this is an interesting one, but if you could pick one peptide, it's hard for me, but what if you could pick one?
- 1:05:37SPEAKER_00: What would your peptide be?
- 1:05:42SPEAKER_01: I mean, I do.
- 1:05:42SPEAKER_01: I love so many um for different reasons, but I mean, I'm such a sucker for glowing skin.
- 1:05:48SPEAKER_01: So I'd have to say, yeah.
- 1:05:52SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's it.
- 1:05:53SPEAKER_00: I mean, actually, it's such a good idea.
- 1:05:55SPEAKER_01: It is, but I also love KPV.
- 1:05:58SPEAKER_01: Um it's kind of boring people.
- 1:06:00SPEAKER_01: I love MT cycle.
- 1:06:02SPEAKER_01: I really do.
- 1:06:04SPEAKER_01: Um, so I don't, you know, I mean, there, yeah, I would probably have to say for that glow.
- 1:06:10SPEAKER_01: Which hopefully you'll never ever have to pick one.
- 1:06:11SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:06:12SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 1:06:12SPEAKER_00: The final question before we wrap up, before Caesar kicks us all out of here is um on the flip side, like, where do you think you're gonna be in 20 years?
- 1:06:20SPEAKER_00: So you're turning 50.
- 1:06:21SPEAKER_00: Great question.
- 1:06:22SPEAKER_00: So you're about to turn 50 in a year.
- 1:06:24SPEAKER_00: So then when you're 70.
- 1:06:26SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 1:06:26SPEAKER_00: Which is so good.
- 1:06:28SPEAKER_01: Our plan is uh in Austin, summer's in Montana, which I'm so excited about.
- 1:06:34SPEAKER_01: Um I would say my hope is that this community is just continuing to grow.
- 1:06:40SPEAKER_01: And I've got big plans for this whole rebrand and a lot of really exciting things coming.
- 1:06:46SPEAKER_01: My goal has always had been to have all these extensions of like little Lauren's teaching the super well living method that I've trademarked, and so that they can go out and share.
- 1:06:56SPEAKER_01: And I have so many women in my community that have platforms that they want to grow of women that I worked through through cancer, and they are like, I want to teach about, you know, living super well through cancer, or younger girls living through super well through PCOS, or living super well through faith, or whatever it is.
- 1:07:13SPEAKER_01: And so I really want this, you know, movement to continue to grow.
- 1:07:17SPEAKER_01: And my daughter loves super well and she lives it.
- 1:07:21SPEAKER_01: She's like little miss super well, but she's I'm not sure.
- 1:07:24SPEAKER_01: She still has fun though.
- 1:07:25SPEAKER_01: She really does and like all the balance.
- 1:07:26SPEAKER_00: That's why our girlies are gonna like they they're gonna be like this.
- 1:07:30SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean, yeah, those apples don't fall far from the tree.
- 1:07:33SPEAKER_00: No, they don't.
- 1:07:33SPEAKER_00: I mean, when colostrum is out in our house, I mean, you would have thought that my seven, I'm like, you're you're 18.
- 1:07:39SPEAKER_00: You don't eat colostrum.
- 1:07:41SPEAKER_00: I'm like, Lord, I I haven't even thought about the colostrum that's been out of the house.
- 1:07:44SPEAKER_01: And it is like which one do you guys love?
- 1:07:47SPEAKER_00: I love chromas.
- 1:07:48SPEAKER_00: Okay, okay, yeah, there's so much.
- 1:07:50SPEAKER_00: Because it's non-dairy based.
- 1:07:51SPEAKER_00: Um Lisa can tell a lot more about it.
- 1:07:53SPEAKER_00: But I it actually for me digests really well.
- 1:07:55SPEAKER_00: It tastes very well.
- 1:07:56SPEAKER_00: I'm not, I don't get the ick.
- 1:07:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah, some of them I get the ick with the cow and the dairy person.
- 1:08:01SPEAKER_00: So like it just sits well in my stomach.
- 1:08:03SPEAKER_00: It's part, so I have my morning drink that's not sexy, but it's part of it.
- 1:08:09SPEAKER_00: And so um, but yeah, the daughter sometimes I'm like, you need to calm down, Michaela.
- 1:08:14SPEAKER_00: Like you need to calm down.
- 1:08:16SPEAKER_00: She's ADD, and like she just gets fixated, like hyper-fixated and certain things.
- 1:08:21SPEAKER_00: I'm like, they will be two peas in a bottle.
- 1:08:22SPEAKER_00: Oh, they will, they really will.
- 1:08:24SPEAKER_00: They'll be sharing your elixir and my protein every day.
- 1:08:26SPEAKER_01: I mean, they're gonna be the best to continue to share our mission and our movement.
- 1:08:30SPEAKER_01: And that's my goal is like really Lila loves this and she wants to continue to build it and scale it.
- 1:08:35SPEAKER_01: And then I'm just gonna drift off in the sunset into Austin Hill Country.
- 1:08:39SPEAKER_01: I love riding horses.
- 1:08:40SPEAKER_01: I grew up riding, so I'm gonna have my horse there, and I'm not probably gonna keep at this pace forever.
- 1:08:46SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I don't want to, you know, I want to build it and then like give it to everybody in my community to keep spreading this word because at the end of the day, you know, that's what this is all about.
- 1:08:56SPEAKER_01: It's like we all are a part of striving to be super well.
- 1:08:59SPEAKER_01: Why the heck not?
- 1:09:01SPEAKER_00: You know, well, and you have the blueprint, and then I think linking arms, you know, I think it's like I'm so excited for my community to learn from you.
- 1:09:08SPEAKER_00: You know, it's a whole different piece.
- 1:09:11SPEAKER_00: I talk about it, but it's a really you go in such a granular level that I keep my pillars pretty simple.
- 1:09:17SPEAKER_00: And I think being inspired by a book like this, that you can be more in-depth and give them tools and like I'm gonna have you in on the app doing lives and bringing your community to mind and my community yours.
- 1:09:27SPEAKER_00: And that's I think what sisterhood's all about, especially when you can link arms and being like, if we're all having the same message, right?
- 1:09:34SPEAKER_00: And we want to get it out there, like we're much better together.
- 1:09:37SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 1:09:38SPEAKER_00: So on that note, thank you.
- 1:09:41SPEAKER_00: Thank you for coming, thank you for your time, thank you for being you and for the gifts and being vulnerable.
- 1:09:46SPEAKER_00: And cheers to so much more.
- 1:09:47SPEAKER_00: You'll be back on, and I can't wait to hear what's gonna be next.
- 1:09:50SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 1:09:50SPEAKER_01: No, you're space and bold.
- 1:09:52SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's right.
- 1:09:53SPEAKER_01: Space and bold girl.
- 1:09:54SPEAKER_01: And you are such a blessing and a gift to me.
- 1:09:56SPEAKER_01: And um, I'm excited to see the future and what happens, you know, with all that we're both building.
- 1:10:01SPEAKER_01: And I I'm just, you know, grateful for you.
- 1:10:04SPEAKER_01: So thanks for the time.
- 1:10:06SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
- 1:10:06SPEAKER_01: Thank you, guys.
- 1:10:07SPEAKER_01: Thanks for tuning in.
- 1:10:07SPEAKER_01: And next time, we'll see you in the Loop Way podcast.
