Transcript
- 0:01SPEAKER_00: Hey y'all, this is Desi.
- 0:03SPEAKER_00: And this is Lisa.
- 0:05SPEAKER_00: Welcome to our podcast, Real Talk Real Healing, where we support women through their healing journey.
- 0:10SPEAKER_01: Through raw stories, authentic dialogue, and uncomfortable but very necessary conversations, we explore the full range of emotions, energetic, spirituality, and physical well-being that come with being human.
- 0:21SPEAKER_00: We believe in a world filled with filters and surface-level messages that healing begins with truth and a little bit of magic.
- 0:33SPEAKER_01: Hey there, Desi and Lisa.
- 0:35SPEAKER_01: We're back for another episode.
- 0:37SPEAKER_01: And today we're going to be talking about shifting perspective.
- 0:41SPEAKER_01: When life doesn't go your way.
- 0:43SPEAKER_01: So what if everything going wrong isn't actually the problem?
- 0:46SPEAKER_01: What if it's the meaning, meaning you were immediately giving it that is?
- 0:51SPEAKER_01: The exact same situations can felt feel completely different depending on where you are emotionally, physically, hormonally, and energetically.
- 1:00SPEAKER_01: So today we're going to be diving into all this and how we can really transform it for our highest good and for our highest timeline.
- 1:07SPEAKER_01: So instead of us like making everything have meaning or something really bad's happening, actually being like, oh, wait a minute.
- 1:12SPEAKER_01: It's okay that we're here.
- 1:14SPEAKER_00: Yes, this is a really good one.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: And we we could probably talk on and on about this one because there's so many examples in life.
- 1:21SPEAKER_00: And we tend to just attach so much meaning and outcome and expectation on every single thing in our life.
- 1:30SPEAKER_00: So exactly that is what we're going to get into first, is because whatever is happening in your life, personally, again, mentally, physically, emotionally, whatever that is for you, what are you saying about it in your mind?
- 1:46SPEAKER_00: And when something doesn't go our way, so when we meet, we deem it as bad or good.
- 1:52SPEAKER_00: When when we remain neutral in what's happening in our life, it does also help because the quote unquote bad allows us to spiral in a way that makes things bigger than they are.
- 2:06SPEAKER_00: So when you have somebody respond to you in a certain way or a certain tone, we tend to be like, oh, that wasn't good, or like, they don't like me.
- 2:15SPEAKER_00: So like, and we automatically assign this whole story based on our own experiences and past that we're like just because they said a certain tone that they hate us and they are mad at us and we're the worst people ever.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: We can literally go as far as that and as deep as that.
- 2:31SPEAKER_00: But there's other ways to reframe that and to help yourself step back from what this story is and actually change it.
- 2:39SPEAKER_00: Because when you change the meaning, that changes everything in your life because you're allowed to shift the energy.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: And when you're able to approach the person or the situation in that different energy, it can change a lot more.
- 2:52SPEAKER_00: It can definitely become something different.
- 2:55SPEAKER_00: So, for example, personally, I am doing this launch for my program called Instant Shift.
- 3:02SPEAKER_00: And Instant Shift has is like my baby, and it is something that I am really proud of.
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: I'm really excited about.
- 3:09SPEAKER_00: And I had seven women go through this first round and it was amazing.
- 3:15SPEAKER_00: And I had so much fun creating it and everyone's loving it.
- 3:18SPEAKER_00: I'm getting great feedback.
- 3:20SPEAKER_00: And, you know, I could say that it's not working by the end because some of the people fall off because life happens and they get sick and life things happen where they're not able to put the energy into the program.
- 3:34SPEAKER_00: And as much as I know they want to be there, you know, I can make that mean they hate it.
- 3:39SPEAKER_00: They the practices don't work for them.
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: So, you know, I could make this mean something about me and I'm a terrible coach and I'm a terrible guide and I made this thing and it's terrible.
- 3:49SPEAKER_00: And when I think that way, this next round that I'm creating and this next round that I'm having starting August 31st, I could take that meaning and take that understanding, because that's what I'm applying to it now, and I could be like, no one's gonna show up, no one's gonna buy it, no one's going to come into my group that I'm so excited about and I, it's gonna be crickets.
- 4:10SPEAKER_00: It's gonna be terrible.
- 4:11SPEAKER_00: And if I keep replaying this thought and replaying this story in my mind that doesn't even actually happen, it's doesn't actually physically happen right now.
- 4:20SPEAKER_00: Nothing, nothing actually is proving me correct with that.
- 4:23SPEAKER_00: I'm just creating this story about it.
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: So when someone says no, when someone says, you know, not right now, or whatever that is, we can immediately say, Well, you know, we're terrible and we're ugly and we're not perfect.
- 4:38SPEAKER_00: And no one loves me.
- 4:39SPEAKER_00: No one loves me, not good enough.
- 4:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah, exactly.
- 4:41SPEAKER_00: Like, how many things do you say to yourself when you're when you feel like you were quote unquote rejected, when someone doesn't answer you right away, when someone says no, when someone doesn't respond, you know, you can immediately say, uh, they're upset with me.
- 4:57SPEAKER_00: What did I do?
- 4:58SPEAKER_00: And like you're spiraling into like there's just gotta be something.
- 5:02SPEAKER_00: There's gotta be something that happened that caused them to feel this way.
- 5:05SPEAKER_00: And a lot of times it's not that way.
- 5:08SPEAKER_00: And when you're able to have the uncomfortable conversation about it afterwards, you can repair friendships, you can repair all these situations, of course, but it can even happen when plans change, right?
- 5:19SPEAKER_00: Like again, like how many times have plans changed with your friends?
- 5:22SPEAKER_00: I know a couple of my friends that I love, they're like sit like soul sisters to me, and we support each other so much.
- 5:28SPEAKER_00: And of course, life happens and we just haven't we keep planning like a date to hang out, and just like every time it happens, something happens, like just we just don't end up hanging out.
- 5:38SPEAKER_00: And it's like one person can't do it, and then the other person can't do it.
- 5:41SPEAKER_00: And then it's just like life is lifing.
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: And unfortunately, as an adult, friendships are a little tougher sometimes because everyone has their own lives and whatever, and we evolve, but we still have to show up, you know, in in a way that is compassionate toward each other and empathetic.
- 5:56SPEAKER_00: So again, another thing, you know, that could happen is if you don't receive a promotion or if you don't risk if you feel like you should achieve something already.
- 6:06SPEAKER_00: Maybe that is weight loss, maybe that is um something like a business like me and Desi are doing, maybe that is something that you're trying to do in your studies, in school, in in a job, a certification, and you're feeling like things are just taking forever and you're behind and you're looking at socially on social media and comparing yourself, and you're like, I should be further, I should have this much money in my bank account, I should be further and I should be successful.
- 6:31SPEAKER_00: And we just create so much meaning about what happens, and uh, most of the time it doesn't actually happen.
- 6:39SPEAKER_00: Or again, something we deem is bad, and that's what we create this story and this thing that happens.
- 6:48SPEAKER_00: Um, so whenever you get that no, whenever you get this person not responding to you, whenever plans change, when something is taking longer, when you don't get that promotion or you don't get that money that you were expecting, I want you to ask yourself a couple of questions.
- 7:08SPEAKER_00: Number one, what actually happened?
- 7:10SPEAKER_00: What is the truth here?
- 7:13SPEAKER_00: Like take the emotion a little bit out of it and just ask yourself, did this actually happen or what actually happened?
- 7:20SPEAKER_00: And then the second question would be, what am I making it mean?
- 7:24SPEAKER_00: Like, what is that story that you are creating about this uh situation?
- 7:30SPEAKER_00: And the last question is, do I actually know that it is true?
- 7:35SPEAKER_00: So this meaning, this story, do you know if this is actually true?
- 7:39SPEAKER_00: Can you actually see it happen?
- 7:41SPEAKER_00: And usually it didn't actually happen.
- 7:43SPEAKER_00: So we're literally creating something in our mind and we're literally putting energy toward that.
- 7:48SPEAKER_00: So when we put it towards that expectation, that is when it might actually happen.
- 7:55SPEAKER_00: So we want to remove that energy once we realize that uh we are putting this story to it.
- 8:03SPEAKER_00: So something happening and the meaning that you give it are two different things.
- 8:10SPEAKER_00: So allow yourself to redirect your emotion, redirect your energy to a different meaning.
- 8:18SPEAKER_00: And Desi, I don't know if you have any any other examples that you want to share as we're talking about this, but I know this next part that we're gonna get into is gonna be makes a lot, make, makes a lot of sense as well.
- 8:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah, perspective is everything because we can be having the same experience, but because we have had different experiences in our life, we had different um upbringings, different parents, different teachers, different, you know, experiences, traumas and stuff.
- 8:44SPEAKER_01: We perceive that experience a hundred percent different, right?
- 8:48SPEAKER_01: We can be having the same exact thing happen, yet we perceive it a hundred percent different because we are different people, and so yeah, of course, there's gonna be similar similarities.
- 8:56SPEAKER_01: Like me and my husband are probably gonna look at things similar because we hang out a lot together and my best friends, right?
- 9:00SPEAKER_01: So there are be similarities, but at the end of the day, like our perspective really is through the lens of what we have experienced in life.
- 9:08SPEAKER_01: And if you're a woman, this changes throughout our whole cycle.
- 9:12SPEAKER_01: And I know this got really loud for me yesterday.
- 9:15SPEAKER_01: I was like 10 days away from my cycle, like kind of coming into that like luteal phase.
- 9:19SPEAKER_01: And I can tell I didn't sleep that good, which I don't sleep that well, um, especially before my cycle.
- 9:25SPEAKER_01: I'm tossing and turning, and it's a whole thing.
- 9:27SPEAKER_01: And so I was like, oh, okay, I'm getting close to my my uh cycle.
- 9:30SPEAKER_01: And I woke up grumpy that morning a little, and actually, well, not even grumpy, just more tired.
- 9:35SPEAKER_01: And then the noise got so loud.
- 9:38SPEAKER_01: It was like, you're failing, you're not making enough money, you're not gonna be able to pay your bills, you know, da-da-da.
- 9:43SPEAKER_01: Like all like it isn't working, like all of it, like you're talking about, like it just got so loud.
- 9:48SPEAKER_01: And I was like, I just started observing, like, okay, all right.
- 9:51SPEAKER_01: It's like I'm getting up to do my morning routine, like the day hasn't even started, like there's nothing that triggered this.
- 9:57SPEAKER_01: Like, where is this coming from?
- 9:59SPEAKER_01: And then I was like, oh, okay, I didn't sleep good.
- 10:01SPEAKER_01: I have a sleep number bed and it was like all night.
- 10:03SPEAKER_01: You can see I was moving, like I said, I was I was tossing and turning for like over an hour and a half that night.
- 10:08SPEAKER_01: And then I'm like, oh, okay, that's cute.
- 10:09SPEAKER_01: I'm curious now.
- 10:10SPEAKER_01: Okay, when is my cycle coming?
- 10:12SPEAKER_01: Oh, okay.
- 10:12SPEAKER_01: So like I was able to really bring it back to like, okay, my hormones are dipping, like I'm starting to feel a certain type of way, and these thoughts are getting really loud, and I'm feeling really vulnerable to them, and they're actually feeling like more in control than of my their the dots were feeling more in control than myself having the quote unquote control over what I was experiencing, right?
- 10:34SPEAKER_01: And so where are you in your cycle when you're feeling that perspective?
- 10:38SPEAKER_01: Like they didn't take back, they didn't text back, and like we make it all about ourselves.
- 10:42SPEAKER_01: When like literally they're like, Oh my god, I'm so sorry, my daughter did it, and they like go into this whole story of something that happened, you're like, Oh yeah, it had nothing to do with me, right?
- 10:50SPEAKER_01: So, like when we start making things about ourselves, and like that is so important for us to be like, okay, is this actually true?
- 10:58SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 10:58SPEAKER_01: And so when we're in our ludical phase, when we're irritable and we have mood changes, we're fatigued, we're hungry, but like we don't want to eat, and then we have like sleep changes and like there's more sensitivity happening, like paying attention to what your perspective is saying in the ludicrous.
- 11:13SPEAKER_01: And then what's really cool is coming back to like your truth, right?
- 11:16SPEAKER_01: So yeah, if you know how you feel, like in your follicular stage where your energy, your mood is like good and like it's rising, it's getting better, you're like, oh my gosh, I'm finally got my bleed, and like you know, it's like cool, like things are starting to shift, right?
- 11:29SPEAKER_01: And like, what is the truth in those moments, right?
- 11:32SPEAKER_01: When you're in the ovulation where you're experiencing like higher energy, like you're more sociable, you want to go out.
- 11:36SPEAKER_01: Like, what are your truths then?
- 11:38SPEAKER_01: Because I know I wasn't having those thoughts like a week ago.
- 11:41SPEAKER_01: Like, I wasn't like in my head thinking like the world is ending and the sky is falling, like a week ago, right?
- 11:47SPEAKER_01: And so I was able to be like, oh, okay, this is what's happening.
- 11:50SPEAKER_01: And so really knowing where you are, right?
- 11:52SPEAKER_01: Like, if you're on your men's menstruation, like try not even to do anything, especially sometimes when we want to try to be more productive in these like periods where we're like in our luteal phase and we're PMSing or we're bleeding, it's like easy just for everything is a lot harder, right?
- 12:06SPEAKER_01: It's like easier to get into those thought patterns and get into the fear and like your partner's annoying you, and like you already have like low patience for that, right?
- 12:14SPEAKER_01: You're like last night I was like, how many more times are you gonna scrape your bowl of yogurt over there, right?
- 12:21SPEAKER_01: And I'm like laughing in my head and I'm just like listening to it.
- 12:24SPEAKER_01: It's like literally something probably does every single night, right?
- 12:27SPEAKER_01: And here's my perspective shift, it's really annoying me.
- 12:30SPEAKER_01: And I was just like waiting and waiting, and I was like kind of laughing, even though it was still annoying me.
- 12:34SPEAKER_01: And then I like made a joke and like we were joking about it, right?
- 12:37SPEAKER_01: But like sometimes it is not a joke, and I'm like, what are you doing?
- 12:40SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 12:40SPEAKER_01: And so um, you know, our energy changes throughout our cycle.
- 12:43SPEAKER_01: So, like knowing your cycle is just I think really important and really helpful.
- 12:46SPEAKER_01: I know we can't always like take time off and like and recluse, but sometimes we can.
- 12:51SPEAKER_01: And giving yourself permission to do that is the most liberating, healing, and free thing you can do for yourself, for your body, for your family, and for your mental, emotional well-being.
- 13:02SPEAKER_01: And so, you know, giving yourself that grace and you know, that emotional sensitivity and that stress tolerance starts to shift too, right?
- 13:10SPEAKER_01: And so we can't handle things as much when we are in these certain phases of our cycle.
- 13:15SPEAKER_01: And so being really graceful with yourself, it's like, oh yeah, maybe I'm snapping at the kids because like my mom used to lock us out of the house when she was on her period.
- 13:22SPEAKER_01: This is when you used to play outside.
- 13:24SPEAKER_01: She used to literally lock us out of the house.
- 13:25SPEAKER_01: It's so funny because the other day I was like, I was talking about the dogs and how like I'm glad I didn't have any kids because the these dogs are so annoying.
- 13:32SPEAKER_01: Like, I can't be like, kids are like a lot more, right?
- 13:35SPEAKER_01: You have to like be with their mom, and she's like, no, no, kids are different.
- 13:40SPEAKER_01: No, it's it's different than dogs.
- 13:41SPEAKER_01: And I was like, okay.
- 13:42SPEAKER_01: So I kind of sat with that, and then like a couple days later, I was like, wait a minute.
- 13:46SPEAKER_01: I was like, this woman used to lock us outside of the house when she was on her cycle.
- 13:49SPEAKER_01: Like, she I had, I think it's like PDMS or whatever, like the really bad stuff.
- 13:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, PMDD.
- 13:54SPEAKER_00: Yeah, uh-huh.
- 13:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 13:55SPEAKER_01: I mean, and this is when you used to play outside, so it was like not one of those, like, you know, we couldn't come into the house, but it was, you know, stay outside, like, leave us alone, leave me alone, right?
- 14:04SPEAKER_00: And so that's so funny.
- 14:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it is funny.
- 14:06SPEAKER_01: And so I called my mom, I was like, Do you remember they used to lock us out of the house?
- 14:09SPEAKER_01: She's like, Yeah, I guess you're kind of right, anyways.
- 14:11SPEAKER_01: So that's side tension.
- 14:15SPEAKER_00: That's hilarious.
- 14:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it it looking back, a lot of things are different back in when we were growing up.
- 14:21SPEAKER_01: You know, I was just going through all the different generations and like about like our different generations and stuff, and we're so different, like so different, so different from the kids today, from like what we grew up with, and yeah, it's just interesting.
- 14:33SPEAKER_01: But okay, so some phases may be more social and creative, you know, like confidence, right?
- 14:38SPEAKER_01: Like, where are you?
- 14:39SPEAKER_01: Like, how are you feeling socially?
- 14:41SPEAKER_01: How are you feeling, you know, creative?
- 14:42SPEAKER_01: Like, are you in your creation?
- 14:44SPEAKER_01: Are you, you know, being spontaneous, right?
- 14:46SPEAKER_01: Are you confident, right?
- 14:47SPEAKER_01: All those are gonna shift your perspectives.
- 14:49SPEAKER_01: And so the same problem can feel completely different depending on the day.
- 14:53SPEAKER_01: So when the thoughts and when the things get really loud, just taking some deep breaths.
- 14:58SPEAKER_01: I think that's the biggest thing I come back to all the time.
- 15:00SPEAKER_01: And you can share what you like to do, Lisa.
- 15:02SPEAKER_01: I mean, uh, instant shift, all of those practices in there are perfect, right?
- 15:06SPEAKER_01: So it's like if I know that I'm on my uh period or I'm gonna be starting it, right?
- 15:10SPEAKER_01: Like I need to, I need to take up a notch on my practices, right?
- 15:14SPEAKER_01: And so instant shift, you gave us so many practices in there for support uh and so for so many different emotions.
- 15:20SPEAKER_01: And I really loved having that as like a toolbox to go to.
- 15:24SPEAKER_01: So it's like sometimes you get that dis decision fatigue.
- 15:28SPEAKER_01: And so I think having something like you created an instant shift is so cool because then you just go there and like you know where you're going to, and like you can play with something new or you can just go back to something that you've been really enjoying.
- 15:38SPEAKER_01: And I I really love that about instant shift.
- 15:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, thanks.
- 15:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah, what's your go-to thing?
- 15:43SPEAKER_00: Uh huh.
- 15:44SPEAKER_00: I even think though, with that too, like from learning from from your inner child program too, like even just sitting with the inner child, you know, during those moments, because I can think of like especially when you're menstruating, right?
- 15:57SPEAKER_00: And you're like, and we're just so used to as women, when we're menstruating or whatever phase we're in, that we just have to keep pushing harder and keep showing up.
- 16:06SPEAKER_00: So it's like, yeah, of course, listening to your own energy and and having the tools and the breath and the different practices to release it somatically, but also I think sitting with that part of you that's like, you know, that's exhausted and that's like, I don't want to show up today and it's okay to rest, you know, like telling that little girl, like, it's okay to sit here and like watch a movie and like just binge out for a little bit.
- 16:30SPEAKER_00: Like I didn't do this that not this last cycle, but the cycle before, I I was getting cramps and I was just like, I'm just gonna lay for the here for the rest of the night and watch like a rom-com movie because I just need to cry a little bit and I just need to sit here and like with a heating pad and feel into my feels and like yeah, and that and I don't allow myself to do that very often.
- 16:49SPEAKER_00: So, you know, it's like giving yourself that little gift of like, what do you actually need in this moment?
- 16:56SPEAKER_00: And I think that's like something that I keep coming back to all the time.
- 16:59SPEAKER_00: And that's one of the mess, the one of the questions I think that we learned from one of our beginning mentors, like, what does your body actually need?
- 17:07SPEAKER_00: And of course, as women, of course, knowing your your your cycle is really important because again, if you have the flexibility, if you have the ability to shift your schedule or to know when it's coming, like that is ideal.
- 17:22SPEAKER_00: But again, of course, life happens and sometimes you don't have control with that.
- 17:26SPEAKER_00: So find practices that do work for you.
- 17:28SPEAKER_00: So maybe you do meditate, maybe you do take deep breaths, maybe you do one of the practices in an instant shift, you know, like you do one of these practices or you tap into more fun, you tap into being silly, like like a kid, like life is just we just make it so serious all the time, sometimes.
- 17:45SPEAKER_00: And you know, especially going into these negative cycles, like it's gotta be one way or or the highway, like you know, and it doesn't have to be like that.
- 17:53SPEAKER_00: Like you get to live.
- 17:54SPEAKER_00: And the other thing that I love about astrology too is that again, you're if you learn astrology and if you learn your your chart and you learn where your rising and your moon is, it really helps you give you a guide as well of where your emotions are.
- 18:09SPEAKER_00: And I'm in this this program right now that I'm really like kind of tapping into more of like understanding what's happening in the current world and like how it relates to my chart because things are coming up and I'm like, oh, that's why that that's what you're telling me.
- 18:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 18:23SPEAKER_00: Like yesterday I had something happen, and I was like, oh, okay, that makes sense.
- 18:27SPEAKER_00: Why there's a square and there's some tension going on.
- 18:30SPEAKER_00: Got it.
- 18:30SPEAKER_00: Okay, let me just get through these next couple of days.
- 18:33SPEAKER_00: Right now we have right now we have the moon and Scorpios just transit transiting to Sagittarius.
- 18:39SPEAKER_00: So it's like the bigger, the bold, the big picture, like could be a little fiery, could be a little bold, and like, you know, the little bit of hard truth, you know.
- 18:48SPEAKER_00: So there's certain things that you can also read into if a if your menstrual cycle or if you are a male that listens to us, you know, like obviously you don't have a mental cycle, but you could definitely listen to the moon and or well, sorry, not listen to the moon, but like track the moon, you know, and track what is going on cosmically, you know, like regardless, woman or man, you know, but that is also a great hack and a great tool to just understand what you're going through.
- 19:15SPEAKER_00: And sometimes if you have somebody else to talk through it and being like, okay, I'm not just being crazy, it's just, you know, you're feeling this too.
- 19:23SPEAKER_00: Got it.
- 19:23SPEAKER_00: Great.
- 19:24SPEAKER_01: I think too, like something that's been so helpful is like really having my husband understand my cycle, and it has not been an easy task.
- 19:32SPEAKER_01: Um, right.
- 19:33SPEAKER_01: I think it's it's a lot for guys to take it.
- 19:35SPEAKER_01: And I think, um, at least in my in my experience, and so sometimes I have to be like, let me remind you that like I I my patience is really short.
- 19:43SPEAKER_01: It is not personal.
- 19:44SPEAKER_01: I love you, but like also like I don't have the capacity to be as loving and patient and kind and like the little things are annoying me and it's not your fault, but like also like having them understand that has been such a game change, game changer, and also because we it is nice to have a little bit of that sweeter side um of our partners when we are feeling that, and that's been so helpful.
- 20:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I think that comes down to too at the end of the day, no matter what tool you do, um, astrology, uh, menstrual, like whatever you're doing, it's really understanding the compassion piece for everybody.
- 20:18SPEAKER_00: You know, like obviously, like with women, you know, we have these cycles and we don't have a choice.
- 20:24SPEAKER_00: So it's like as a partner, or as or hopefully your partner will understand it and and actually make a little bit of effort to understand it and and show up in different ways for you, because that's amazing.
- 20:36SPEAKER_00: And it makes life a little bit easier sometimes, you know, when you're going through it.
- 20:41SPEAKER_00: And but also like recognizing that like you're feeling a certain way.
- 20:44SPEAKER_00: So even you just sharing with your partner and being like, this isn't about you, but I'm just really irritable today.
- 20:50SPEAKER_00: And like, I'm sorry, just don't talk to me, or like just leave me alone for a little bit.
- 20:55SPEAKER_00: Like, you know, it's like one of those things where just like learning your patterns and learning this compassion and grace piece, whether you're the person that's being affected or you're the person that you know is given it or holding it, whatever, like it really does make a huge difference when you're able to come to each other because relationships are inevitable, like they're everywhere, and like whether it's your partner, your kids, your you know, co-workers, parents, whatever, like having compassion and grace for whatever they're going through, because a lot of times you don't know what they're going through unless you know you are open about it.
- 21:29SPEAKER_00: But we we just take it on personally all the time.
- 21:33SPEAKER_00: And I think it's having that compassionate peace.
- 21:35SPEAKER_00: And then, like we said in the last episode with the red flags and green flags, like having those uncomfortable conversations and being vulnerable and honest with the other person really opens up more connection for you.
- 21:48SPEAKER_00: So again, compassion and grace brings more connection to a relationship and it makes life better because you're able to go deeper, you know, in that way.
- 21:58SPEAKER_00: Okay, so This next part, we want to get into about how when things happen, all these scenarios, whether you're annoyed, whether you're agitated, whether someone said no, whether you don't get the promotion, X, Y, and Z, whatever is happening in your life currently, instead of just dismissing it and saying, like, everything's fine, I'm fine, I'm great.
- 22:23SPEAKER_00: And trust me, I have had this line my whole life.
- 22:27SPEAKER_00: I am fine.
- 22:28SPEAKER_00: How often when you ask somebody, how are you doing?
- 22:33SPEAKER_00: Or vice versa, and you're like, I'm fine, I'm great.
- 22:36SPEAKER_00: And that's not true, far from the truth, right?
- 22:41SPEAKER_00: And sometimes you can go, you know, under the surface with people, depending on who it is, and if you have time.
- 22:48SPEAKER_00: Or, you know, you kind of have to just be like, Yep, I'm great, everything's great, you know, life is awesome.
- 22:54SPEAKER_00: But how many times do you lie to yourself that everything is fine?
- 23:00SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 23:00SPEAKER_00: And when you really want to say, Well, like this happened today and this happened yesterday, and I'm just going through it, you know, and sometimes it's okay to pretend that everything is not fine, it's okay to be disappointed, it's okay to be angry, it's okay to cry, it is okay to actually feel what's going on.
- 23:26SPEAKER_00: And when you get to the emotion that you're feeling, so you know, say for example, someone says, How are you doing?
- 23:33SPEAKER_00: And you're like, Okay, what's going on there?
- 23:38SPEAKER_00: Why are you just eh, you know, and then get curious, get super curious, get really honest with yourself.
- 23:45SPEAKER_00: Like, I am feeling I just have like I just feel like crap today, you know?
- 23:51SPEAKER_00: And I'm just feeling really angry because I feel like a failure today, I feel like nothing's going right, and I don't know when it's gonna happen for me, when things are gonna work out in my favor.
- 24:03SPEAKER_00: I keep thinking it and it's just not happening.
- 24:06SPEAKER_00: And then you get really curious and you keep asking yourself questions to get to that root part.
- 24:13SPEAKER_00: Because when you do that and when you listen to the emotions, when you feel and you get curious, you start to understand what the core emotion that you're feeling is, and then you get to work through that emotion, work through that pattern because it's showing up in different areas of your life.
- 24:29SPEAKER_00: That's the unsexy part of healing, is that this pattern will keep showing up until you work through it.
- 24:37SPEAKER_00: And sometimes it's it's better for you to look at it in the moment instead of let it fester, instead of let it like become resentment or guilt or shame, because that's when it's like you're shaking up a soda bottle and it's just gonna explode eventually.
- 24:53SPEAKER_00: And that little bit of a trigger just pops the bottle off.
- 24:58SPEAKER_00: So instead of being like, eh, you know, work just sucks right now.
- 25:03SPEAKER_00: I'm so busy and I don't feel appreciated.
- 25:05SPEAKER_00: I don't, I'm not getting this raise like I thought I was, X, Y, and Z.
- 25:10SPEAKER_00: How can you change the angle?
- 25:12SPEAKER_00: How can you change the perspective on that?
- 25:15SPEAKER_00: And if you're feeling that way for a long time, this might be a little harder and you might have to work through it every single day.
- 25:22SPEAKER_00: But instead of just being like, I'm fine, everything's great.
- 25:24SPEAKER_00: I'm just like gonna gratitude the shit out of my job right now because that's what I see everywhere, that I just need to be grateful for it, you know?
- 25:32SPEAKER_00: Instead, you can just say, you know what, I'm beginning to look at my job as, you know, um being grateful for it, you know, I'm beginning to enjoy my job.
- 25:45SPEAKER_00: I'm beginning to, or I'm I'm shifting the way I look at my job because you know what, it's a really great opportunity because X, Y, and Z.
- 25:53SPEAKER_00: And you just start to soften the way you look at it and you start to have a little bit of gratitude toward for it.
- 25:59SPEAKER_00: So every time it gets a little bit bigger.
- 26:02SPEAKER_00: And when you start to actually look at, you know, what what story and what feeling is actually underneath this, also ask yourself, like, what could this be showing me?
- 26:12SPEAKER_00: What is this pattern?
- 26:13SPEAKER_00: You know, maybe it is a default pattern of negativity that you have and like nothing worked out for me.
- 26:19SPEAKER_00: Maybe it is a little victim, maybe it is a little like, ugh, I or maybe you're just feeling guilt, you know, for a certain thing.
- 26:26SPEAKER_00: Maybe you're going to a job and you work so hard, but you keep spending all your money.
- 26:30SPEAKER_00: And you're like, when am I gonna break this cycle?
- 26:32SPEAKER_00: You know, and so many things could be true and and so many different patterns.
- 26:36SPEAKER_00: And, you know, would love to hear from you specifically, like, you know, the listener, that what is going on for you so we can help you break these patterns, you know, this is why we created this.
- 26:46SPEAKER_00: So start to work on some reframes.
- 26:48SPEAKER_00: So instead of saying this isn't working and my life sucks, instead of saying that where it's just like the the like end goal, the end feeling, start to soften it a little bit.
- 26:59SPEAKER_00: So it isn't working the way I expected.
- 27:02SPEAKER_00: So, what could be true for this, right?
- 27:06SPEAKER_00: And instead of saying like I'm behind and I'm a failure and all these things, and it's like, okay, well, according to whose timeline, instead of saying everything's wrong, you know, life sucks, X, Y, and Z, start to zoom out and just say, you know, instead, a few things aren't going how I wanted.
- 27:27SPEAKER_00: So sometimes the phrase and the reframe isn't just everything happens for a reason and everything's happening for me, which I literally have tattooed in my arm to remind myself every day.
- 27:37SPEAKER_00: Sometimes that's not, it's not, you know, I'm not going right for that phrase.
- 27:41SPEAKER_00: I'm not going right for that phrase, you know, because it's sometimes we just don't know what it means yet.
- 27:47SPEAKER_00: And I have a an arrow on my my arm with the phrase the in perfect timing, because everything does happen for you in perfect timing and for a reason, you know.
- 27:57SPEAKER_00: I do truly believe that, but I have the arrow there because whatever's happening that's pulling you back, just like an arrow, it's always gonna shoot you forward.
- 28:05SPEAKER_00: You might be taking 10 steps back right now, but you're gonna go forward eventually.
- 28:10SPEAKER_00: You know, it's like it's like when you get to the end of the bottom of the hill, like you gotta go up somehow.
- 28:14SPEAKER_00: When you hit the bottom, you're gonna go up somehow.
- 28:17SPEAKER_00: So allow yourself to just shift a little bit, to allow yourself to think a little bit differently.
- 28:23SPEAKER_00: And that will create more momentum for you, and that will create a little bit more positivity for you, not toxic positivity, like some of us have been taught.
- 28:35SPEAKER_01: Oh, that's so good.
- 28:36SPEAKER_01: So I actually kind of want to go over this framework that I learned in a coaching certification by Christina Joy.
- 28:42SPEAKER_01: Shout out to her.
- 28:43SPEAKER_01: It's called Everything But Asana training, and it's something that I use personally with myself and my clients, and it's exactly what Lisa was just talking to, right?
- 28:51SPEAKER_01: So, like the 3D is that contrast and it's that distortion, right?
- 28:56SPEAKER_01: It's that contradiction.
- 28:57SPEAKER_01: It's like, ah, then nothing's working for me.
- 29:00SPEAKER_01: Like bad things happen in three.
- 29:02SPEAKER_01: Of course, this is happening.
- 29:03SPEAKER_01: Of course, I didn't get this, everything's going wrong, right?
- 29:05SPEAKER_01: That's that really dense, like 3D, you know, uh reality.
- 29:09SPEAKER_01: Like, I am this story, I am my wounds.
- 29:12SPEAKER_01: It's a rigid identity pattern.
- 29:13SPEAKER_01: So it's like grasping to old ways, right?
- 29:16SPEAKER_01: It's chasing that outcome, needing that external validation, right?
- 29:20SPEAKER_01: Avoiding discomfort and resisting growth.
- 29:22SPEAKER_01: Those are all like the 3D survival mode, you know, the control and like the loops that we go in, and then that anxiety, right?
- 29:29SPEAKER_01: So that's all like the 3D.
- 29:30SPEAKER_01: And so what Lisa was talking about is that 4D, right?
- 29:34SPEAKER_01: That awakening, that clarity.
- 29:36SPEAKER_01: Okay, it isn't working out the way I expected.
- 29:39SPEAKER_01: Um, a few things aren't going my way, right?
- 29:41SPEAKER_01: You're starting to shift your perspective into that 4D self-study, right?
- 29:45SPEAKER_01: So we're coming into like the correct scene, right?
- 29:48SPEAKER_01: Recognizing patterns and we're starting to awaken to the truth.
- 29:51SPEAKER_01: And so when we start shifting that, right?
- 29:54SPEAKER_01: Like the desire as our guidance, like, okay, I desire for things to work out in my favor, right?
- 29:59SPEAKER_01: I desire for me to get the job.
- 30:02SPEAKER_01: And maybe this was a I was just talking to a client about this.
- 30:05SPEAKER_01: Uh, she was interviewed for a job and she was feeling like, why, you know, why didn't they pick me?
- 30:09SPEAKER_01: And I was a perfect person.
- 30:10SPEAKER_01: And I guess she even talked to uh the people and they were like, no, you were a great fit, but this person had more um experience, right?
- 30:17SPEAKER_01: And so it's like, oh, that one little thing, right?
- 30:19SPEAKER_01: And then what I reminded her is sometimes rejection is protection, right?
- 30:23SPEAKER_01: And so, like, right in that 4D, that self-steady, you're like, okay, rejection is protection.
- 30:28SPEAKER_01: That means that there's something better out there for me, right?
- 30:30SPEAKER_01: And so we're really coming into this like surrender of life and like trusting it.
- 30:34SPEAKER_01: And so once we come into the 4D, then we can come into that 5D perspective, which is your soul's perspective.
- 30:40SPEAKER_01: It's your, you know, your unity, your liberation, it's that awareness, it's seen through the illusion of separation.
- 30:46SPEAKER_01: And that's not an easy task to go from the 3D reality to the 4D to the 5D.
- 30:50SPEAKER_01: And I even find myself in that too.
- 30:52SPEAKER_01: Like earlier, I was talking about, you know, yesterday when I woke up, I was in the 3D, right?
- 30:56SPEAKER_01: And so I noticed that I was in the 3D, and then I started shifting into the 4D, and I was like, I'm not having a bad day today.
- 31:02SPEAKER_01: Like, I, me and my husband have a day date planned together.
- 31:05SPEAKER_01: Like, I we're gonna go, we're gonna have breakfast, it's gonna be amazing.
- 31:07SPEAKER_01: Like, I'm not gonna worry about it.
- 31:08SPEAKER_01: And like, you know, I decided to get into that 4D perspective, which then brought me into my soul perspective, and we had like such an amazing day together, right?
- 31:16SPEAKER_01: And so yeah, it was really nice.
- 31:18SPEAKER_01: And, you know, so it's really dissolving the ego, right, ego and like coming into that soul unity, right?
- 31:24SPEAKER_01: Like when we're in like not in our human form, right?
- 31:28SPEAKER_01: We're in our soul's perspective and we're in our soul, right?
- 31:31SPEAKER_01: We're not in this human plane, like we are in unity.
- 31:33SPEAKER_01: In you, yeah, unity.
- 31:34SPEAKER_01: We're in unity, we're in love, right?
- 31:36SPEAKER_01: We're in union.
- 31:36SPEAKER_01: That was the word I was looking for.
- 31:37SPEAKER_01: Like, we're in union.
- 31:38SPEAKER_01: And so when we can get more glimpses of that is like when we can start like manifesting what it is that we do want.
- 31:45SPEAKER_01: And so um, I think that's just a really good way for us to start thinking, like really coming into that 3D, 4D, and that 5D perspective.
- 31:52SPEAKER_01: And sometimes, you know, we want to control versus trust, right?
- 31:56SPEAKER_01: And so that would be like the 3D perspective is trying to force the outcomes.
- 32:00SPEAKER_01: Like, yeah, who's guilty?
- 32:01SPEAKER_01: All of us can raise our hand where we're just like, okay, so if she does that and then he does that, and then she says that, and then we get there at that time, and then da-da-da-da-da.
- 32:09SPEAKER_01: Oh, like we have it all figured out, right?
- 32:10SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 32:11SPEAKER_01: So here, us silly little humans, like, I'm just gonna control the narrative narratives, and like I'm everything is gonna work out perfectly, then I will be safe, and then everything will work out the way that it's supposed to.
- 32:21SPEAKER_01: But like, what happens when we do that is like we're trying to control the whole outcome and we're leaving no space for the universe to bring in way more magical things than we could even imagine, right?
- 32:32SPEAKER_01: Like, we're not leaving any space for any kind of co-creation or you know, magic and miracles.
- 32:38SPEAKER_01: And so, you know, when we are trying to force the outcomes, we're just keeping ourselves in that 3D perspective.
- 32:43SPEAKER_01: So, like really letting go and be like, okay, I would love for it to go this way.
- 32:48SPEAKER_01: And also I'm trusting that it's going to go the way that it's supposed to.
- 32:52SPEAKER_01: And, you know, another thing that comes along with this is like surrendering to what is happening, which I think is one of the most challenging things we can do as humans because we are people that love to know.
- 33:03SPEAKER_01: We are humans that love to know what's gonna happen.
- 33:05SPEAKER_01: How is it gonna happen?
- 33:06SPEAKER_01: You know, what's gonna all the things like we like to have that safety, right?
- 33:10SPEAKER_01: And so the surrender doesn't mean giving up.
- 33:12SPEAKER_01: Like we're not just surrendering, okay.
- 33:13SPEAKER_01: I'm just gonna lay back and not give you anything, right?
- 33:16SPEAKER_01: And we just lay down and eat cherries at our, you know, our you know, bed all day long and like everything's gonna work out for us, right?
- 33:22SPEAKER_01: Surrender doesn't mean giving up.
- 33:23SPEAKER_01: Surrender just means I'm surrendering the outcome.
- 33:26SPEAKER_01: I am not gonna have to control everything.
- 33:28SPEAKER_01: I'm surrendering, even if it's like not what I think is what I want to happen, or if it's a really like hard sometimes, we surrender and then it ends up being like a really hard lesson that we need to learn, and that's okay too.
- 33:37SPEAKER_01: But when we surrender and we let go, we let God and we're not like trying to control everything, right?
- 33:44SPEAKER_01: And so sometimes we need to pause before we respond.
- 33:46SPEAKER_01: So remember, this whole episode is about perspective.
- 33:49SPEAKER_01: What is your perspective?
- 33:50SPEAKER_01: Where are you at?
- 33:51SPEAKER_01: Do I need to pause before I respond?
- 33:53SPEAKER_01: Like I did yesterday while he was eating the yogurt.
- 33:55SPEAKER_01: I like paused and noticed the 3D, the old Desi.
- 33:59SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, I would have like probably snapped it.
- 34:00SPEAKER_01: No, I not probably, I would have.
- 34:02SPEAKER_01: Um, the the unhealed inner child that was still very angry, all those little things I would pop off.
- 34:08SPEAKER_01: I would be like yelling and like I would be mean.
- 34:11SPEAKER_01: I was mean, really mean, honestly.
- 34:13SPEAKER_01: Where did I get it from?
- 34:13SPEAKER_01: Let's see, my mom used to lock me out of the house.
- 34:15SPEAKER_01: Sorry, mom.
- 34:17SPEAKER_01: Sorry, Numa, not sorry.
- 34:19SPEAKER_01: Um, we don't blame our parents, right?
- 34:21SPEAKER_01: We we we they are our biggest teachers.
- 34:23SPEAKER_01: And so, anyways, it's like, okay, so where do you need to pause?
- 34:25SPEAKER_01: And like maybe you need to sleep on it and get a good night's sleep before you have the conversation with your husband because you're really annoyed, right?
- 34:31SPEAKER_01: Or with your best friend or with whatever it is, and maybe you just need to move your body and just like shake it the hell out of the body, right?
- 34:38SPEAKER_01: Maybe you need to go put your feet on the ground outside, like get out of the house, right?
- 34:43SPEAKER_01: Go regulate, you know, check where you are in your cycle.
- 34:46SPEAKER_01: So, like instead of trying to control, we're letting go, and then from there decide what you want to do, right?
- 34:52SPEAKER_01: So it's actively like choosing what is my perspective over and over again.
- 34:58SPEAKER_01: What do I want my perspective today?
- 34:59SPEAKER_01: Well, I know I want my perspective to always be in like the five day soul perspective.
- 35:03SPEAKER_01: That'd be amazing.
- 35:04SPEAKER_01: My freaking coach is so good at this.
- 35:06SPEAKER_01: This is why she's my coach.
- 35:07SPEAKER_01: Like the way that she's able to spin what seemingly is like a bad situation into good, it just freaking amazes me.
- 35:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 35:14SPEAKER_01: And you know, it's like, wow, there is so many different perspectives and ways that we could look at situations for our highest good.
- 35:22SPEAKER_01: And even the hard stuff is like, oh wow, there is something that we can take out of it that's good.
- 35:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 35:27SPEAKER_00: I feel that too.
- 35:28SPEAKER_00: I feel like I've always been one that is I used to be, I mean, I still am for the most part.
- 35:35SPEAKER_00: Of course, I get in my own head sometimes, but like I used to always be the optimistic, bubbly person, you know, for my friends.
- 35:42SPEAKER_00: Like I would have been like, it's fine, everything's great, and like, but not in the way of like, you know, dismissing it like I used to, which I definitely have done that too.
- 35:50SPEAKER_00: But like more of like it all is happening for a reason.
- 35:54SPEAKER_00: And like I was totally like the spiritual person of being like, it's fine, it's gonna be great, and da-da-da, you know, like whatever, like you know, screw that person and whatever, like it's gonna be fine.
- 36:06SPEAKER_00: And I I've been like playing with that more lately, too, of like I'm I'm really good at the perspective shifts for sure.
- 36:12SPEAKER_00: And I think also we can share quickly our our what our other method is that we learned in our coaching, bitfar, because that is such a really great tool to remind you that you are literally creating your own reality by these thoughts and by these expectations and these control and whatever.
- 36:31SPEAKER_00: So we learned this framework called BitFar for short.
- 36:35SPEAKER_00: Um, but it's it's the letters B, T, F, A, R.
- 36:40SPEAKER_00: And B is beliefs, T is thoughts, F is why am I going blank?
- 36:48SPEAKER_00: Um beliefs, thoughts, feelings, feelings, feelings, action, and results.
- 36:52SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 36:53SPEAKER_00: So it is be so your results, right?
- 36:58SPEAKER_00: We we look at our outcomes and we look at our life on the daily, and we're like, well, I don't have enough money, I don't have this what this thing, and my body sucks, and da-da-da.
- 37:08SPEAKER_00: Well, you have to kind of reverse engineer it, like right.
- 37:11SPEAKER_00: So what it are the actions that you've been taking in order to get to that result, right?
- 37:16SPEAKER_00: And then it's like, what were you feeling in order to do those actions?
- 37:20SPEAKER_00: What were you actually thinking?
- 37:22SPEAKER_00: What were the thoughts?
- 37:24SPEAKER_00: And then what were those beliefs?
- 37:26SPEAKER_00: So your beliefs, whatever you believe, is true.
- 37:29SPEAKER_00: So like when you say you can, you can.
- 37:31SPEAKER_00: When you say you can't, you can't.
- 37:32SPEAKER_00: That is the truth.
- 37:33SPEAKER_00: That is like this, period.
- 37:35SPEAKER_00: So when you say, I can't lose the weight, I can't make extra money, I can't do this, I'm never gonna find love, X, Y, and Z, whatever that is, your belief and your, and I heard this recently is a belief is just a thought you think over and over and over and over and over again, that it literally solidifies into the body because your body thinks it's true.
- 37:55SPEAKER_00: So when you think these things, they become beliefs.
- 37:59SPEAKER_00: And when you are in that energy of that belief in that thought, because you're starting to with the stories, because your mind is looking for the examples and the proof.
- 38:08SPEAKER_00: So when you're thinking that, your mind is looking for, oh yeah, that's true.
- 38:12SPEAKER_00: You can't do that, and and you're injured now, and no, you can't do that.
- 38:16SPEAKER_00: And confirmation.
- 38:16SPEAKER_00: No, confirmation.
- 38:18SPEAKER_00: It definitely comes true because of these thoughts and beliefs.
- 38:21SPEAKER_00: So then when you think this, you start to feel this way.
- 38:25SPEAKER_00: The emotion solidifies and confirms that belief and that thought.
- 38:29SPEAKER_00: Then that feeling, because our feelings drive our actions.
- 38:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 38:33SPEAKER_00: So that feeling is going to drive our next action.
- 38:36SPEAKER_00: So are you going to just stay stuck?
- 38:38SPEAKER_00: You're going to do nothing, you're going to feel uninspired, you're going to feel like you're never creative and you can't do things.
- 38:46SPEAKER_00: All those things, of course, is going to equal the result.
- 38:49SPEAKER_00: The result not being what you want.
- 38:52SPEAKER_00: So where are the results that in your life?
- 38:56SPEAKER_00: What are the outcomes?
- 38:57SPEAKER_00: What is the thing that in your life that you feel like is the worst area of your life right now?
- 39:02SPEAKER_00: Out of, and I did this in instant shift where you take all the areas of your life and you rate it from like a one to 10.
- 39:09SPEAKER_00: And you see where you're at and see what the lowest score is.
- 39:13SPEAKER_00: And or what is that area that you want to focus on to change and notice what you're feeling around that.
- 39:21SPEAKER_00: Do you feel guilty?
- 39:22SPEAKER_00: Do you feel shame?
- 39:22SPEAKER_00: Do you feel like you suck?
- 39:24SPEAKER_00: Do you feel like nothing's working?
- 39:27SPEAKER_00: And then understand where that is coming from.
- 39:29SPEAKER_00: What is that thought?
- 39:29SPEAKER_00: What is that belief?
- 39:31SPEAKER_00: And you want to gently shift it.
- 39:33SPEAKER_00: You want to release the control.
- 39:34SPEAKER_00: You want to give yourself compassion and grace and go through this episode with us, you know?
- 39:40SPEAKER_00: And we can give you guys a couple of like a question real quick as well to help you reflect.
- 39:45SPEAKER_00: So with this area of life, maybe you already thought of one.
- 39:49SPEAKER_00: What am I trying to control right now with this area of life or with this intention or manifestation that you're trying to call in?
- 39:57SPEAKER_00: What are you trying to control about it right now?
- 39:59SPEAKER_00: Maybe you're trying to do every single thing to the line up exactly perfect, or maybe you think you need to have the whole plan or the whole staircase, you know, in order to make the first move.
- 40:10SPEAKER_00: Sometimes we do that and we stop ourselves as well.
- 40:12SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 40:13SPEAKER_00: And instead of that, you know, what else could be true about this?
- 40:18SPEAKER_00: Maybe you just shift it gently and then allow yourself to instead of just going right to the action piece, sometimes that's what we do, and we love to do that.
- 40:29SPEAKER_00: Instead, shift the energy and say, How would I respond if I trust in myself?
- 40:34SPEAKER_00: And this part of my life could be easy.
- 40:38SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 40:38SPEAKER_00: Like, what would you do?
- 40:39SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 40:40SPEAKER_00: And go from that energy.
- 40:41SPEAKER_00: And then you will notice a difference when you come from that energy instead.
- 40:46SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so good.
- 40:47SPEAKER_01: I love the BitFlar framework.
- 40:49SPEAKER_01: It's something that I use with my clients.
- 40:50SPEAKER_01: I know we've used within our masterminds, and I use it in inner child haven for one of the eras where we're like really those beliefs are coming on really strong.
- 40:57SPEAKER_01: Like, and so I help them rewrite those beliefs.
- 41:01SPEAKER_01: And it's a little challenging because sometimes it's hard to figure out what wait, what is that new belief, right?
- 41:05SPEAKER_01: So if we understand like our beliefs, thoughts, feelings, actions, then we can rewire them by rewriting our beliefs, thoughts, pro, you know, feelings, yeah, beliefs, thoughts, feelings, actions, results, right?
- 41:16SPEAKER_01: And so when we start writing it down, we start putting pen to paper, we start rewiring those neural networks in our brain.
- 41:22SPEAKER_01: And it's like obviously if it was like a one and done thing, we'd all be like millionaires and we'd all have like mansions because we'd have all these beliefs, right?
- 41:29SPEAKER_01: But there's just there's a lot to untangle there.
- 41:32SPEAKER_01: Um, but yeah, I I love this conversation.
- 41:34SPEAKER_01: I love this um what we brought today because I really feel it's so resonant with so many of us of like so easy to get pulled into that 3D reality.
- 41:41SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so easy to get pulled into the negativity.
- 41:44SPEAKER_01: It's so easy to see the perspective for the worst case scenario.
- 41:47SPEAKER_01: And so this is the muscle, right?
- 41:49SPEAKER_01: That I was just having a conversation with another client.
- 41:51SPEAKER_01: Like we have to build our muscles.
- 41:52SPEAKER_01: Like it's not a one and done thing.
- 41:54SPEAKER_01: Like we have to, like, just like we go to the gym, we're not lifting 30-pound dumbbells right away, right?
- 41:58SPEAKER_01: We're starting out with the fives, we're starting out with the tens.
- 42:01SPEAKER_01: Like it takes time, it takes repetition.
- 42:03SPEAKER_01: And uh, yeah, that's kind of what it all really comes down to.
- 42:06SPEAKER_01: Because I know we share so much on this podcast, like we give you guys a lot.
- 42:10SPEAKER_01: We like so much information, right?
- 42:11SPEAKER_01: Which is great.
- 42:12SPEAKER_01: Information is is great and you guys need it, but then implementation implementation is so important too, and that embodiment.
- 42:18SPEAKER_01: And like me and Lisa both do this for a living as coaches.
- 42:22SPEAKER_01: We help women thrive, we help them do exactly what we've been teaching you guys.
- 42:26SPEAKER_01: Like, we are in our own practices, we're doing it, and we're doing it for our clients.
- 42:30SPEAKER_01: And if you guys ever want to go deeper, like information is great, but application is so important.

- 42:56SPEAKER_00: So definitely write it down, maybe come go back through the episode and and go through some of the questions because that will allow you to start to shift it and recognize the pattern that you can stop.
