- James @ Daily Flow: Hello friends. Thanks for downloading the audio version of today's 10 minute mornings practice. The YouTube video is linked in the show notes. And if you're staying with just the audio, don't worry about doing it right. Just move and breathe in a way that feels honest. That's enough. a follow or review goes a long way. And of course, you're always welcome to practice live with me on YouTube, 8 a.m. weekdays. James: The coffee isn't quite coffeeing yet, but you still have a day to take on in a body that may not quite be ready for it. I've got something for that. Hello friends, welcome to your daily flow 10 minute mornings practice. My name is James. ⁓ and of course be sure to practice till the end. We'll pull a card, set some intention together, and be sure to hit like and subscribe on your way out. Come to stand at the top of your mat. Firmly root your feet. Feel like you're trying to pull the mat apart, give your shoulders a nice roll up and back. Yarms ever had as you inhale. This today as you exhale, take your hands behind your back and interlace your fingers. Feel that reaching down to the knuckles. And then maybe flip your palms inside out so that the ⁓ heels of your palms face the floor. And then just start to with soft knees, start to fold forward, let your knuckles scrape the ceiling. I'm keeping my knees very bent and my tailbone tugged. So there's no hyperextension. I'm just opening up the shoulders and giving a little back release. Lift your heart, look forward, inhale. Exhale, maybe go a little bit deeper. Release those hands down to the floor. Step back the left foot, step back the right foot. Inhale. Exhale, lower your knees, your chest, and your chin. Go propose, inhaling. Downward facing dog. Exhaling. Let's take a second here in our first down dog of the day. Well, mine at least, maybe not yours, I don't know. Bend your knees, really pull your heart back, energize through your fingertips. Maybe shake your head out. Turn your gaze, your drid up towards your navel. Inhale. Exhale. Coming forward to plank, release both knees onto the floor. And then Cow pose, tuck the toes, pull the heart forward, little cat, really round the spine. Inhale, cow lengthen, exhale. One more time, inhaling. Step the left foot back, down dog, split the right leg. Maybe bend the knee and stack the hips, make some circles through those joints, get some circulation going. And then step your right foot all the way between your hands. Rise up to a high lunge. I'm gonna interlace my fingers on top of my right thigh. Keep a little micro bend in that left knee, but really push back through the ball of the left foot. Nice little stretch through the heel there. Lift the heart, maybe flip the arms. Inhale. Exhale. Let's find a warrior two; open yourself out. Right heel, bisex, arch of left foot. Everything is traveling to the pinky toes. Inhale, straighten the right leg. Exhale, triangle pose, left hip back, right arm forward and down. Maybe hand is on the knee. Maybe fingertips are wrapping around that big toe. Look up. Inhale. Exhale back to your Warrior 2. Flying Warrior, straighten the right leg parallel to feet, and let's take Warrior 2 facing the back. Now the other day I did this and I screwed it up, but we're gonna go a little differently this time. Cartwheel your hands down to frame your left foot. Step it back to your plank. Inhale. Exhale, lower knees, chest and gin. Cobra pose. And downward facing dog. Down dog split the left leg. Inhale. Exhale, big step forward with that left foot. Come up to your high lunge. So as you can see, we're just sort of mirroring here. Again, bend in the right knee, push back with the ball of the right foot. Nice little stretch in the ⁓ right ankle. Then maybe float the arms inhaling. Exhale, look and out, warrior two. Take a second here. Feel those thighs spiraling out. Feel the grounding of your feet. Straighten the left leg as you inhale. Triangle pause as you exhale. Triko nasana. Keep that left hip wrapping under. Look up, maybe your right hand. Beautiful day today here. Inhale. Exhale. Warrior two. Inhale, flying warrior. Exhale, warrior two to the right. Take the pause. And then take a vinyasa. Both hands come to frame that right foot. Step it back. Inhaling. Exhale. Lower knees, chest and chin. Take your vinyasa. Skip it if you'd rather. Always. Take a breath. Find your down dog, inhaling. This time step the right foot forward, step the left foot forward. Find a long spine and bow deeply. Press down, rise up, inhaling. Exhale. Let's flaw all hope you can hear me. Let's follow all of that just a little bit more. There go. Let's follow that just a little bit more. ⁓ see how it feels. ⁓ just to move and breathe. Feel your feet firmly rooted. Inhale, floats the arms. This time as exhale, just fold forward. Inhale, long spine. Exhale, step back, plank position, top of a push-up. This time chaturanga, or maybe knees just again. Cobra or up dock. And downward facing dog. Down dog, split the right leg, inhale. Exhale, big step forward. High lunge inhaling. Warrior two. Exhale. Inhale, straighten the right leg. Maybe triangle, maybe half moon. Exhale. Take your breath. The moon or landing warrior two. Float up through your flying warrior. Warrior two to the left. Inhale. Exhale. Cartwheel those hands down. Take your float. Skip what needs skipping. Add if you need to add. Breathe and then down dog split the left leg high to sky. Big step forward. High lunge. Warrior two. Straighten the left leg. Triangle or half moon. Yogi's choice. Take your breath. And then big step back. Warrior two. Flying warrior. Warrior two to the right. Inhale. Exhale. Take a vinyasa. Follow your breath. No holds these breaths, ease. Inhale. Exhale. Inhale, bend the knees, look forward, stepward, float, flat back. And bow deeply on your exhale. Press down through the feet. Rise up, sweep the arms up, reach up. Take a breath as I go grab the cards. Taking this pause this moment. Just to maybe see if there's a little grounding, a little inspiration in store for us. Pose a shoulder stand on the shoulders of giants. Learn from those who have traversed your chosen path. Where are the masters? Not even where are the masters? Where are the people who are doing it? In your field, in humanity, in the world. It's not about copying someone. You don't have to walk the path in the way that they've walked it. But the path is there. I heard a speaker yesterday, whose name I'll have to put later in the caption, because I don't know how to spell it. However, Оно в цей закругло із на релігін. It is a philosophy and that yoga does not tell you which path to take, it tells you it tells us or helps us rather be the best in that path. So if you have a religious practice, you deepen your connection to that religion. If you have career path, it helps you walk that path with more surety, more clarity, and a deeper connection to that deepest part of yourself. On the shoulders of giants. And I bet I bet you're somebody's giant as well. The light that is in bows to honors and is so grateful for the light that is in you. Namaste. Thank you as always for spending this time. ⁓ tomorrow I'm not sure, Friday. ⁓ I have an early day here and then a travel day Saturday. So ⁓ I'll probably post something, but it it probably won't be on schedule, so I apologize. But ⁓ please be sure to hit like and subscribe and hit the bell icon and you'll get that notification whenever I go live. ⁓ or of course it's YouTube, so it'll be there probably forever. Have a great day. Thanks for spending this part of it with me. Namaste.
