- speaker-0: Mm. speaker-1: Anna, we're we're recording a podcast. That's pretty cool. speaker-0: I know. It's been a long time coming. I'm really excited that we are finally doing this. speaker-1: Yeah. Well, we have this idea. We've been talking about it for about a year. We think about aging well day in, day out as we build out the Neverstop program. And we've been talking with so many interesting people as we pulled together the clinical protocols and the way we engage older adults and the way we think about health and wealth tied to aging well. So we we thought we could pull it all together and bring on some really exciting guests. We're calling the podcast The Long Run. And and I think as we think about the name, it's not just about kind of living a long life. It's it's really about how do we live that life well and what are the things that we can learn and do and change to make sure that we are are maximizing kind of our our moments. speaker-0: And you know, thinking about the long run, it's something that I've thought of about for many years. I'm an occupational therapist by training. So I've always cared about whether you can still do things you want to do. And life is the ultimate long run. And if you can't do those things, I've been able to help you get back to them. And here's the part I find genuinely fascinating about aging. So when you aim at what you want to do, you get What you'd expect, a better quality of life, people are happier, they're doing more of what they want, and they stay in their own homes longer. And when you move that, what's underneath also moves. You get stronger, you get faster, your long run gets easier. And that's why I'm so excited about this podcast. speaker-1: Absolutely. And that's our commitment to kind of pulling together interesting speakers who have experience, you know, a wealth of kind of learnings and insights that they can bring. And we hope to have fun while doing it. So stay tuned.
