The wrongful dead lawsuit filed against Karen Reed is facing

delays now that Reed is involved in a second lawsuit in a

different county. Reed, of course, was acquitted

on charges of second degree murder in the death of her

boyfriend, Boston police officer John O'Keefe.

And I really wish that John O'Keefe did not get lost in all

Canton PD that John O'keefe's killer probably will never face

hitting him with her Lexus and leaving him to die in the snow

after a night out drinking. His body was found on the front

lawn of a friend and fellow police officers home in Canton

during a Blizzard in the early morning hours of January 29th,

2022. She was found not guilty.

O'keefe's Family While she was found not guilty of criminal

responsibility, O'keefe's family has filed A lawsuit claiming she

carries civil law liability for his wrongful death and emotional

distress. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah

all resolve itself months ago. Mark Diller, the attorney for

the O'Keefe family, said at Friday's hearing.

Unfortunately, it wasn't until Monday night that the defendants

withdrew their motion and started on a different track

with a different model. Instead of adding parties to the

wrongful dead lawsuit, Reed wound up filing her own lawsuit

in a different county targeting the so-called house defendants

as well as the investigators. OK, so there's a whole bunch

here. But basically the wrongful dead

lawsuit filed against Karen Reed is now facing some delays

because the parties, basically the same parties are involved in

different lawsuits filed by the different sides in different

counties. So we are going to see how that

Robert Grove's body was discovered on November 2nd in

the 3300 block of Egypt Central Rd. in the Raleigh community.

Grove was reported missing after he didn't return to his home on

October 27th. The next day, family members

tracked his phone to the Surrey Apartments and found his Chevy

Police were called to the scene after relatives sound said they

found blood on the front seat of his vehicle.

case that investigators say escalated far beyond troubling

School teacher Dylan Robert Dukes, 27, this is Mr. Dukes

right here, pleaded guilty this week to 1st degree harassment

after authorities uncovered what they described as an extended

pattern of obsessive behavior toward the child.

Prosecutors said that Dukes wrote the girl more than 60 love

letters, a detail repeatedly noted in arrest warrants cited

ornaments, pictures and what authority call authorities

called unwanted hugs that made the student uncomfortable.

old girl, kind of a serial runaway from Lake Elsinore, CA,

Southern California, appeared to be in a relationship with 20

VD. And in September, her body, her

remains, let's call them her remains, were found in the trunk

of David's Tesla Model X. It was the front trunk area.

the neck, a source briefed on the investigation told ABC News

on Friday. Investigators also found two

bruises on the side of her neck, the source said.

The FBI has continued to decline to comment, citing the ongoing

investigation. The Miami-Dade medical

examiner's office declined to comment Friday.

According to the source, the preliminary information

indicates there were no signs of SA, and there did not appear to

Now asphyxiation, asphyxiation is different than strangulation.

Strangulation is when the blood flow is, is cut off like those

two bruises on the side that would be considered

strangulation. We are cutting off the blood

flow. Blood or oxygen does not flow up

into the brain. You lose consciousness and

ultimately result in death. No, this is asphyxiation.

That means that the airway was impeded.

know what I mean. Across the front of the neck,

perhaps collapsing the windpipe, making it impossible to breathe.

At Thursday's preliminary hearing, it was yesterday the

judge dismissed the case after hearing audio of a conversation

between Ashley Buzzard and the alleged victim, Tyler Brewer,

and found the audio didn't match what Brewer told law enforcement

and the media. So he was wearing a wire.

Does that mean that law enforcement heard that and

agreed with him? I don't know.

Buzzard had been arrested on the false imprisonment charge on

November 7th and she pleaded not guilty last week.

Brewer claimed Ashley Buzzard armed herself with a box cutter

and kept him from leaving her home on November 6th.

Meanwhile, the search is ongoing for Buzzard's 9 year old

daughter, Melody, who was last seen on October 9th at the Utah

Colorado border. Buzzard has not been charged in

her daughter's disappearance, but authorities have said she's

not cooperating with the investigation.

You know, one of the most, I guess dissatisfying, really

frustrating things about this case is that Ashley Buzzard is

remaining tight lipped. I would give that advice to all

of us. If we are in some kind of a

situation where we are being investigated by police, we

because we've got a missing 9 year old girl and the person who

assisted care facility. The man arrested in her

murderous man in Keon King. From the information that we

have so far, I do feel like Mr. King.

He's probably rightly accused here.

Of course, he's innocent until proven guilty, but does not

matter to Kada who is gone from this world and to her family who

are living with the fallout of such a violent and tragic end.
