- 0:05Welcome to The Hypnotist, the show that gives you inside
- 0:09access to cutting edge hypnosis with real clients facing
- 0:12genuine. Issues.
- 0:13Brought to you by the hypnotherapist, demanded by
- 0:16celebrities, CEOs and even royalty, Adam Cox.
- 0:20These recordings took place live from Evans Clinic in London's
- 0:24world famous Harley Street, so get yourself comfortable and
- 0:31enjoy today's episode of The Hypnotist.
- 0:38Do you ever put other people's needs before your own?
- 0:43And are you willing to sacrifice your own quality of life in
- 0:48order for someone else? Lack of worthiness quite often
- 0:52comes from childhood and in this hypnosis session, you're going
- 0:56to be listening to the very hypnosis that I did with a
- 0:59client that because they were told that they weren't good
- 1:03enough and they wouldn't amount to much in childhood.
- 1:06They carried that all the way through adulthood and spent
- 1:10their life as a people pleaser, putting other people's needs
- 1:13before their own. So in this hypnosis session, we
- 1:17use regression for them to go back to themself as a child,
- 1:22understand why they were told what they were told, and to give
- 1:25things a new meaning. And then to harness a really
- 1:28resourceful state and, and a feeling of really holding on to
- 1:33that feeling of worthiness and standing up for your own values.
- 1:39And then future pacing this and this uses a golf analogy of
- 1:42someone being very domineering and pushy because they found
- 1:45that that's actually where they felt a lot of unworthiness was
- 1:48on a golf course. So for them, that was the right
- 1:51environment to test. Could they actually feel worthy
- 1:54to feel of equal value to anyone else.
- 1:59So if you can relate to feeling unworthy, to sacrificing your
- 2:03own needs for other people, then I think you're going to get some
- 2:06value from this session. Just be aware that it was
- 2:08created for an individual. Golf might not be your thing and
- 2:12therefore that element might not quite link.
- 2:15So if you do like the idea of a bespoke hypnosis session for you
- 2:19and your individual needs, well then what I would recommend is
- 2:22that there's actually a hypnosis suitability test in the
- 2:25description. It only takes about two minutes
- 2:27to do, and you can kind of figure out if you'd be a good
- 2:29candidate for hypnotherapy. Or you can go straight to
- 2:34scheduling a free 30 minute consultation.
- 2:36Call with me over Zoom and we'll have a chat to see if I'm the
- 2:39right hypnotherapist to work with you.
- 2:42For now though, find a quiet, comfortable place where you
- 2:45won't be disturbed. Relax and enjoy the session.
- 3:06Take a deep breath in as you breathe in.
- 3:11Breathe in a feeling of relaxation, and as you exhale,
- 3:17just allow your eyelids to close, and as they close,
- 3:22position your body in such a way that you're able to feel more
- 3:26comfortable or relaxed, exhaling any tension.
- 3:32And then when you breathe in, breathe in deeper than the last,
- 3:40breathing in a wonderful feeling of relaxation and worthiness.
- 3:49I want you to imagine a color that best represents worthiness.
- 3:56Just allow whatever your intuition tells you, and then
- 4:01imagine breathing in a bright version of that color in through
- 4:05your nose. But as you exhale, just imagine
- 4:11a dark, shadowy color leaving your body, representing
- 4:16unworthiness. Any thoughts or ideas about not
- 4:21being good enough? Just allow that to leave your
- 4:25body in your outward breath before breathing in that bright,
- 4:31vibrant color of worthiness. And I want you to scan your body
- 4:43for where it feels like unworthiness exists.
- 4:49Sometimes people are surprised to know that emotions tend to
- 4:54have a home inside the body. Anxiety often is around the gut
- 5:01or lower chest. Stress sometimes around the jaw
- 5:05or the neck or the shoulders. But I want you to search for
- 5:11unworthiness. Just allow your imagination to
- 5:16have an idea of where it might be residing, and as you breathe
- 5:21in that bright, vibrant color of worthiness, imagine it melting
- 5:26away the unworthiness there in that location.
- 5:32And then as you breathe out, just imagine it leaving your
- 5:38body in the exhale as you consider this a transfusion.
- 5:47If you had infected blood, the transfusion might give you clean
- 5:52blood, and the infected blood would leave.
- 5:58And before long, all of your blood is clean, the infection is
- 6:03gone. And I want you to consider the
- 6:08idea that you caught an emotional infection in your
- 6:14childhood. Perhaps an insecure, controlling
- 6:21person had a benefit of lowering your confidence and self esteem.
- 6:30Because a controlling person wants to control.
- 6:35And who is easier to control than someone who believes that
- 6:40other people's needs are more important than their own?
- 6:45And let's just imagine that you caught that emotional infection
- 6:49in childhood. As you breathe in that bright,
- 6:54vibrant color of worthiness and you exhale the unworthiness,
- 7:01each breath is like that transfusion, meaning that
- 7:08emotional infection is leaving your body and you're able to
- 7:14feel more and more worthy, good enough with each and every
- 7:24breath. And as you continue to breathe
- 7:28in and breathe out, you realize that the deeper you breathe, the
- 7:34more relaxed you're becoming. And the more relaxed you're
- 7:38becoming, the deeper you're breathing.
- 7:43And as your body relaxes, your imagination awakens.
- 7:52So allow your physical body to stay exactly where it is, and
- 7:57allow your imagination to float back in time.
- 8:05Float all the way back, keeping all of your life experience,
- 8:11wisdom and knowledge, but going back to when you were perhaps
- 8:15just a small child, maybe six or seven years old.
- 8:24And I want you to think of a time when you would have been
- 8:28alone, perhaps wondering why you're such a bad person.
- 8:34And maybe that wondering followed lots of indoctrination
- 8:41telling you either you're bad, unworthy, not good enough,
- 8:49efficient in some way. And that's just evidence of a
- 8:55curious intelligent mind that if you're presented with something,
- 9:01why wouldn't you be curious as to why that thing may be true?
- 9:09So imagine floating back to that bedroom at your current age and
- 9:15seeing the younger version of you and then saying hello.
- 9:23Now, initially a strange person in a room might cause some kind
- 9:29of confusion, even shock, But I want you to let this younger
- 9:40version of you know that you are them from the future.
- 9:47And of course, they don't believe you to begin with, which
- 9:50is why you're going to tell them a secret that only they know,
- 9:57nobody else knows but you and them.
- 10:01And that's why when you tell them, they start to believe that
- 10:06you are indeed them from the future.
- 10:11And it might take one or two secrets you have to share.
- 10:15But when that younger version of you accepts that you are indeed
- 10:20them from the future, let me know by nodding your head.
- 10:29And I want you to tell them that version of you that feels
- 10:35unworthy, deficient, perhaps bad, that they are worthy,
- 10:47they're precious, valuable, capable.
- 10:53Give them a hug if they need it. And I want you to tell them that
- 11:00all of those things that their mother told them wasn't because
- 11:06it was true, it's because it made them easier to control.
- 11:15And I want you to see that intelligent young girl, almost
- 11:20like a light switch goes off in their head where they understand
- 11:27why they were being told what they were told and that
- 11:31something else is true. Why would someone that wants to
- 11:37control tell someone they're unworthy?
- 11:43Because if they knew the truth, they would be more difficult to
- 11:48manipulate. And if that younger version of
- 11:52you starts to believe your version of events, let me know
- 12:01by nodding your head. And then tell them the absolute
- 12:09truth. They are worthy, they are more
- 12:15than good enough, they are capable, and they deserve just
- 12:21as much as anyone else. They're not better than, nor are
- 12:26they worse than they are equal to.
- 12:29And when that younger version of you accepts that belief to be
- 12:35true, let me know by nodding your head.
- 12:41And I want you to think back to that color that represented
- 12:44worthiness. And then just imagine a glowing
- 12:49ball of energy in that color. I want you to hand it to that
- 12:55little girl and she places it to her chest, absorbing all of that
- 13:03worthiness. And then imagine all of the
- 13:09unworthiness melts away and the clues will be her facial
- 13:17expression, her body language, and she will stop wondering why
- 13:23she's such a bad person and think different thoughts rather
- 13:32than intrinsically accepting false narratives.
- 13:38She might want wonder why a mother would say things that
- 13:43aren't true. But I want you to feel that you
- 13:50are healing an old infection. And when you feel that infection
- 14:00at the emotional level is indeed healed, imagine it rippling all
- 14:06the way through time to the present.
- 14:12That's it. Give that girl a hug.
- 14:18Tell her that she's loved, is worthy, is valuable, is
- 14:23precious. And then say goodbye, saying
- 14:28that you return whenever she needs your help, and if she
- 14:34looks happier than when you arrived, let me know by nodding
- 14:37your head. That's in.
- 14:40And then float forwards in time, still in your past, but the
- 14:44future compared to this little girl, to a time when you were
- 14:51absolutely putting your needs first.
- 14:58I want you to think of that time.
- 15:01And you weren't willing to accept that someone else, their
- 15:05needs, their time, their attention, or anything else was
- 15:10more important than yours. And when you can see that
- 15:14version of you exuding worthiness and having the
- 15:18boundaries to defend that worthiness, go back to that
- 15:25moment and just observe how you breathe, how you move.
- 15:33And I want you to see someone with power, strength, and
- 15:38certainty. There is no need for aggression.
- 15:43The certainty is sufficient to just know you are valuable and
- 15:49worthy and your needs have value.
- 15:53And then imagine stepping into that version of you feeling that
- 16:02way. Worthy, powerful and equal to
- 16:07anyone. And when you feel that way, I
- 16:13want you to see a glowing circle beneath your feet in that exact
- 16:19same colour of worthiness, and then feel it expand upwards like
- 16:26a cylinder, like you're now standing in a beam of light in
- 16:31that colour of worthiness. And when you feel it, experience
- 16:39and know it's there. Let me know about nodding your
- 16:42head and then take that with you as you go forward into a
- 16:49fictional reality, a future that hasn't happened.
- 16:55I want you to imagine seeing yourself on a golf course, and I
- 17:02want you to see the person behind you on the previous hole
- 17:10is a dominant, entitled, bullying type of person.
- 17:19They deeply believe that they are more valuable, that they are
- 17:24superior to anyone else, including you.
- 17:30Now you're the observer here. But I want you to see yourself
- 17:35on the golf course, in that cylinder of glowing light full
- 17:40of worthiness, with the facial expression and the body language
- 17:45of someone that cannot be beaten or manipulated into accepting
- 17:53that they are less worthy than they are.
- 17:56And I want you to see an interaction where that dominant
- 18:00character is trying to make you feel small so they can control
- 18:05you. And I want you to see how that
- 18:09version of you responds. See that version of you refusing
- 18:17to back down, that maybe if this person would have asked nicely,
- 18:23you would have been different. But they didn't.
- 18:26There was an expectation and entitlement.
- 18:30And because of that, it creates the most defiant, powerful,
- 18:37empowered version of you. And if you can see how that
- 18:44version of you handles that situation and that you're proud
- 18:50of how that version of you handles it, let me know by
- 18:52nodding your head. That's it.
- 18:57And then rewind it and step into that version of you.
- 19:03Feel the worthiness. And then imagine seeing that
- 19:08dominant personality, being impatient, forceful, and feel
- 19:16that the right words come when you need them, that you are
- 19:19standing your ground. You have just as much right to
- 19:23be there as anyone else. They will need to wait their
- 19:28turn in the same way that occasionally you need to wait
- 19:33yours. And if it feels like it is
- 19:38impossible to make you feel rushed, pressured, or stressed
- 19:44because you feel so worthy, let me know by nodding your head.
- 19:51And just consider that you went all the way back in time and
- 19:57took a mighty oak tree out by its roots when it was a sapling
- 20:03when you were just a child, and instead planted a tree of
- 20:09worthiness. And that tree has been growing
- 20:14all of this time, and now the mighty oak is a mighty oak of
- 20:20worthiness, and not even a crane can remove it.
- 20:25From its roots. And when you feel this to be
- 20:29true, let me know by nodding your head.
- 20:35And all these thoughts and emotions you've been feeling are
- 20:39like the acorn acorns falling from that tree.
- 20:43Before they were unworthy and now they're worthy.
- 20:47And you don't have to do anything other than remind you
- 20:52that you are worthy and the thoughts and feelings will flow
- 20:57from that deep rooted belief. I want you to smile at that
- 21:05dominant character, knowing that you didn't back down and it's
- 21:10now time to float back to your present, taking all of these
- 21:12changes with you. So take a deep breath in through
- 21:17your nose and out through your nose.
- 21:21Just wiggle your fingers, wiggle your toes.
- 21:26That's it. As I now count from 1:00 to
- 21:2810:00 to awaken you. Starting to count 123 waking up
- 21:35456 more alert 7-8. Open your eyes.
- 21:39Open your eyes. 910. Wide awake, wide awake, wide
- 21:44awake. Thank you so much for joining me
