This is Enough and Evolving, and today's episode is really personal I want to take you behind the scenes ⁓ one of the biggest transformations that I've experienced over the last six months. recently returned from a beautiful mastermind retreat in Hawaii it was a celebration ⁓ a mastermind group that I've been a part of the last six months that I joined ⁓ ⁓ improve that my business growth ⁓ and my ⁓ money and I thought of course yeah I'm gonna learn all these great strategies about maybe sales, marketing, finance, blah, blah, blah. And what I really found is that the greatest transformation wasn't just my revenue. Of course I did have a bump in revenue. That was really great, but it was really my identity, who I'm becoming. And I think that's something that every single one of us can relate to. Because every dream you're trying to create eventually asks one question. Who do I have to become in order to hold it? That's what I loved exploring in my mastermind. I want to explore with you today. Now to understand why this mastermind changed me so deeply, you have to understand my relationship with money. Growing up, I quietly believed that people with money somehow were more significant. didn't consciously think that, but I definitely felt it. I compared, I felt less than. ⁓ believed that my circumstances somehow determined my value. And in my 30s, life reinforced that story. My husband and I built what we thought was financial security through real estate. And then there was a housing crash in And we lost everything. Our rental properties, our home, ⁓ and had to file bankruptcy. And Suddenly all of those childhood feelings I'd tried so hard to outgrow came rushing back. financial shame, the embarrassment, the fear. And looking back now, I realized I unknowingly became that little girl again. The one who believed her bank account determined her worth. Now over the last decade or so, I've done so much healing around that story. I've rebuilt my confidence, I've rebuilt my relationship with money, I've rebuilt my nervous system, I've rebuilt my life. But what I didn't realize there were still subtle ways ⁓ my old identity ⁓ quietly running my business. When coach invited me first to this mastermind, I almost didn't join. ⁓ I didn't think I belonged there. In my mind, I hadn't achieved enough financially, and I didn't think I qualified. The room of women that were in there were of them ⁓ definitely earners. but my coach, she saw something I couldn't see. She ⁓ was looking my She the woman I was becoming ⁓ before I could. Sometimes we have to borrow belief until we can build it ourselves. That's definitely something that I do with my clients. When I coach clients, a lot of times they come to me with maybe a little bit of belief in what they were they're wanting to achieve, but sometimes not even able to see that belief. And I'm helping to open the window to open the door to seeing what is truly possible. And so I think that is truly one of the greatest gifts another human can give us is seeing our own potential when we're not able to access it. Now the beginning of the year I was already restructuring my business. I was ⁓ letting go of hustle learning to regulate my nervous system, building marketing that actually felt aligned. But there was one place I kept avoiding, and it was my numbers, my financials. ⁓ open up my business finances and feel discouraged and myself to other coaches that I knew and what they were achieving, ⁓ and I would feel ⁓ that embarrassment, that shame all come back up. Because I was making the numbers mean that I was behind, that I'm not growing fast enough, that maybe I'm not cut out for this some way. And the ⁓ ⁓ the thing hurting me. It was the story that I had around the numbers. Now one of the biggest breakthroughs I had in this mastermind was learning to see my numbers as neutral, learning to see my numbers as data, not as evidence of my worth, just information. more. That's when something changed, something clicked. stopped avoiding my finances and I organizing my business. I cleaned my backend, created new systems ⁓ in my bank account, ⁓ and then ⁓ more about investments. I started making decisions like a CEO instead of reacting like that scared little girl. The numbers didn't magically change overnight. changed first. And I changed, ⁓ everything to change as well. That's when I saw the revenue bump. That's ⁓ identity That's how you shift. From where you are to where you want to go. Now, today I wanted to share with you four of the ways to reshape your identity that I used in reshaping mine. And number one is become aware of the identity that you're protecting. Ask yourself, who am I still? trying to be. ⁓ me, it I was to be that protector of the girl who doesn't feel like she's enough because of her bank account. So who are you still trying to be? The people pleaser? The protector, perfectionist, the girl afraid she's enough, the nervous system will always protect what's familiar. Even when what's ⁓ is keeping you Awareness is where ⁓ freedom begins. So more you create awareness about Who ⁓ trying to be or trying to protect, the more you will open up possibility and create freedom. Now, number two is ⁓ your worth from your current circumstances. Your bank account isn't your identity. Neither is your relationship, your weight, your career, or follower account. simply data points. Your loves ⁓ turning ⁓ into Practice separating those two. That's one of the healthiest things that you can do. Number three, start acting from that future version of yourself. Not pretending, not bypassing what you are currently feeling. Simply asking yourself, if I already trusted myself, how would I respond? How would I show up in this situation? would ⁓ organize her finances? How she lead her business? How would speak to yourself? How would you rest? How would you These tiny ⁓ actions, shifts create. Your new identity. An identity creates results. number four, borrow until it your own. Like I was saying earlier, sometimes someone else sees your potential before you do. Maybe it's a coach, maybe it's a mentor, a friend, a spouse. instead of arguing with their belief in you practice receiving it receiving is a whole in itself and probably come up with a great podcast in the future all about receiving because I know I have a lot to say ⁓ about I feel like I have in this experience of the mastermind especially going on that retreat I have really expanding my practice of receiving. so ⁓ ⁓ something that will really ⁓ a game changer if you start to practice receiving. Because one you'll realize ⁓ those those those that saw your potential before you did, they weren't seeing something that's impossible, that's high in the sky. They were seeing the future version of you. that ⁓ who I hope you began to see. That who ⁓ I'm that I empowered you start to lean ⁓ the possibility and of in this podcast today. In closing. If there's one thing I've learned over the last six months, that the life you're trying to create ⁓ start with changing your circumstances. It with changing the story of who you believe you are Today I no longer identify choose ⁓ identify as the little girl ashamed of her bank account. I'm a woman ⁓ who how to steward wealth, who leads intention, who takes care her business, who trusts herself. Who believes abundance isn't something she has to chase. something she creates by becoming ⁓ person who can hold it, by it within her already. And I that's true for ⁓ every dream have. Before reality changes, your identity usually first. So let me leave you with one question. Who are you becoming? Not who you've been, not who your past says you are. are you choosing to become? Because ⁓ person, she's already waiting for you. Thank you so much for spending this time with me today. always, you are enough and you are evolving. Have a great week.
