- Jessica Figueroa: Hey listeners, welcome back to just for today, where we take the principles that Dale Carnegie teaches and how to stop worrying and start living, and we apply them to something we could do just for today. So our action item of just for today is we are going to smile. We are going to smile today when it feels awkward. We're going to smile when we're driving in our car. We're going to smile when we're talking to people. We're going to smile when we're sitting at home watching TV. If you're scrolling on your phone, I just want you to smile. You don't need someone there. Nothing needs to be funny. Today, I want you to smile. Just for today, we're gonna smile throughout the day because there is science on the fact that smiling improves our mood. And we're not gonna argue that improving our mood won't help our day, because improving our mood will help our day. So today, everybody, maybe when you're listening right now, are you smiling? I want you smiling right now. So just for today, I want you to smile throughout the day for no reason. And I want you to see how life reacts to you when you go into the store or when you interact with your coworker, when you see that mom friend at drop off, just smile. Just a big old goofy kind of smile. Just get it out there. And then at the end of the day, I want you to think about how your day went. How did smiling impact your day? So just for today, please smile. I'll see you guys tomorrow.
