- 0:01Speaker 1: Radio.
- 0:03Speaker 2: She's on the Money Radio Show.
- 0:07Speaker 3: With Victoria Divine starts now.
- 0:10Speaker 4: Hello and welcome to the She's on the Money Radio
- 0:12Speaker 4: Show podcast, the radio show podcast for millennials who want
- 0:16Speaker 4: financial freedom.
- 0:17Speaker 5: Hello, I'm excited this week with Ditch Miitchchury, million dollar,
- 0:22Speaker 5: Mitch is out, billion dollar Byron is In, Barron Cook,
- 0:25Speaker 5: welcome to the pod.
- 0:26Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 0:26Speaker 1: Also one of the DJs here, part of the Kiss Network.
- 0:29Speaker 1: And I believe I have about as much of a
- 0:31Speaker 1: financial qualification as Mitch does, which is.
- 0:34Speaker 6: Bugger basically nothing.
- 0:36Speaker 2: Not a very high bar at all. Mast was low.
- 0:39Speaker 6: You sleep straight in.
- 0:42Speaker 2: Hey.
- 0:42Speaker 4: We had some really interesting stuff on the show this
- 0:45Speaker 4: week because we usually are a little bit safe.
- 0:47Speaker 6: But you mean safe safe, well.
- 0:50Speaker 2: I mean we had we had a well, I don't
- 0:51Speaker 2: want to say a sex worker.
- 0:52Speaker 6: Because we did well that's exactly what goes, all.
- 0:54Speaker 4: Right, if you want to go there, that's fine. So
- 0:56Speaker 4: we had Renee Gracie, who is one of Australia's leading
- 0:59Speaker 4: only fans models making how much money.
- 1:03Speaker 5: I'm not going to tell you yet. You'll have to
- 1:04Speaker 5: listen for that, but I definitely ask her you do.
- 1:07Speaker 1: And that's what I found it extraordinary because you know,
- 1:09Speaker 1: I thought we might just tiptoe around it all and
- 1:12Speaker 1: old mate over here, she just goes straight in, how
- 1:14Speaker 1: much money are you making?
- 1:15Speaker 7: All right?
- 1:15Speaker 2: Not enough?
- 1:16Speaker 6: That's who I am. She's on the money.
- 1:19Speaker 5: I ask people what they make each and every single week,
- 1:21Speaker 5: and we shouldn't be shamed about it. In fact, it
- 1:24Speaker 5: can be inspiring, it can be enlightening. It can actually
- 1:27Speaker 5: make a lot of sense, right because you see people
- 1:29Speaker 5: on social media and you're like, Wow, they've got a
- 1:31Speaker 5: nice house and they've just done a pool.
- 1:32Speaker 6: I wonder what.
- 1:33Speaker 5: They're they're earning, and actually is really constructive to know
- 1:37Speaker 5: that different areas pay different amounts and this is what
- 1:39Speaker 5: this person is making and how it works. But also
- 1:42Speaker 5: the thing that I found really interesting with Renee was
- 1:44Speaker 5: like she's.
- 1:45Speaker 6: Like, I know that this is not forever.
- 1:47Speaker 5: So she's trying to make hay while the sun is shining,
- 1:49Speaker 5: which a lot of women in the sex work industry
- 1:51Speaker 5: are doing as well. So you best believe they're really
- 1:54Speaker 5: good at investing, they're really good with their money.
- 1:56Speaker 1: And not that anyone would stop now they're going to
- 1:58Speaker 1: listen to the whole podcast, but sure he keep listening
- 2:00Speaker 1: because she actually answers the question, and I can't believe
- 2:03Speaker 1: what the answer was.
- 2:05Speaker 5: What Byron actually resigned from his role here at Kiss
- 2:09Speaker 5: and now he's on the role.
- 2:10Speaker 1: I just came back to do this intro, but in
- 2:13Speaker 1: the middle of this show will walk out when I
- 2:15Speaker 1: find out how.
- 2:15Speaker 2: Much she makes Fantastic.
- 2:16Speaker 4: Wow, that is I can't believe the foresight that you
- 2:19Speaker 4: have in the future telling right here. I feel though, Okay,
- 2:23Speaker 4: we didn't talk about this in here because we all
- 2:26Speaker 4: we wanted to keep it about money. But for me personally,
- 2:29Speaker 4: and I don't know about you, Born, is that if
- 2:31Speaker 4: a partner goes and does only fans, is that a
- 2:33Speaker 4: deal break a few because it definitely is for me.
- 2:36Speaker 1: For me to talk about relationships, I have even less
- 2:38Speaker 1: authority on relationships than I do with money. We don't
- 2:42Speaker 1: even want to start with that.
- 2:43Speaker 6: I reckon about communication and consent.
- 2:45Speaker 5: My friend is acceptable in one relationship might be wildly
- 2:48Speaker 5: unacceptable in another.
- 2:50Speaker 6: And to be honest, it's up to you exactly.
- 2:52Speaker 4: And you know what is acceptable saving money, because we
- 2:54Speaker 4: actually had some really great saving now accepting.
- 2:59Speaker 5: How good steps are saving money, it's a good piece
- 3:02Speaker 5: of news.
- 3:02Speaker 6: You've been doing it for a while am I going
- 3:04Speaker 6: to be in trouble?
- 3:05Speaker 4: Yeah, you are, because not only are you going to
- 3:06Speaker 4: tell somebody how they can upsize their house where they're
- 3:10Speaker 4: living in a little box with.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Six was it six kids?
- 3:13Speaker 3: It was four four six, very small.
- 3:16Speaker 6: House in a tiny home, she said.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Which might have had to do with the only I'm
- 3:22Speaker 2: not even going to do.
- 3:22Speaker 5: You are going to end up in the bin this
- 3:24Speaker 5: week if you're going to come for sex workers.
- 3:26Speaker 4: May I'm not coming for sex workers. People are free
- 3:29Speaker 4: to do whatever they want. I'm just saying it's not
- 3:31Speaker 4: my thing.
- 3:31Speaker 6: Let's get into the show.
- 3:33Speaker 2: No, you were going to save us how much money?
- 3:35Speaker 6: I'm going to save you a heap of money.
- 3:36Speaker 5: I'm going to save you fifty percent on your groceries,
- 3:38Speaker 5: and I'm also going to tell you exactly how much
- 3:40Speaker 5: money you can save by using.
- 3:41Speaker 6: The first time Super Savis scheme. I wouldn't go anywhere.
- 3:43Speaker 4: If I were you, even if you did want to
- 3:44Speaker 4: go somewhere, that's your prerogative. Your business is your business.
- 3:48Speaker 4: But I hope you don't because it's a great show.
- 3:49Speaker 4: And she's on The Money radio show starts right now. Yeah,
- 3:53Speaker 4: for your Saturday morning. She's on the Money radio show
- 3:55Speaker 4: with Australia's number one finance podcaster and also bookseller. Right
- 3:58Speaker 4: now Victoria Fine number one in our hearts.
- 4:02Speaker 1: And five in the country in the country, number one
- 4:05Speaker 1: in her category.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Yeah, well the.
- 4:07Speaker 5: Byron Cook but also billion Dollar Byron as we've now
- 4:10Speaker 5: decided to call him.
- 4:11Speaker 4: Yeah, he's sitting in here filling in for Mitchtury and
- 4:14Speaker 4: right now, guys, we are talking about side hustles, how
- 4:17Speaker 4: you can make some serious coins.
- 4:19Speaker 5: So it's been a pretty hot topic in our community recently,
- 4:22Speaker 5: and that is Only Fans, and I think it's become
- 4:25Speaker 5: a pretty hot topic because I've had a few of
- 4:26Speaker 5: my clients on the show recently and as you guys know,
- 4:29Speaker 5: financial advisor who gives legit financial advice, and a lot
- 4:32Speaker 5: of these women are making bank and want somebody who
- 4:34Speaker 5: just gets money to actually help them along because they
- 4:37Speaker 5: get content.
- 4:38Speaker 6: I'm telling you, they get content.
- 4:40Speaker 5: So, for those of you who haven't heard, OnlyFans is
- 4:42Speaker 5: basically an online platform and app. It was established in
- 4:45Speaker 5: twenty sixteen with the intention of people being able to
- 4:47Speaker 5: share photos and videos for a subscription, so people subscribe,
- 4:51Speaker 5: but then once you're subscribed, you can also request custom
- 4:55Speaker 5: made content, and a lot of people are now using
- 4:58Speaker 5: it to create adult content and for that they are
- 5:01Speaker 5: making absolute banks. So this week we are joined by
- 5:04Speaker 5: Renee Gracie, who ex Supercar fan Trav You're going to
- 5:07Speaker 5: love her, but also absolute star on OnlyFans. Renee, Welcome
- 5:12Speaker 5: to the show.
- 5:13Speaker 7: Hi guy, Thanks for having me.
- 5:15Speaker 5: No, of course we want to talk about it because
- 5:17Speaker 5: we know it's very lucrative, but I also feel like
- 5:20Speaker 5: it's very not known. At the same time, it's also
- 5:23Speaker 5: shrouded with judgment, which it absolutely shouldn't be.
- 5:26Speaker 6: So we want to know how did you begin this
- 5:28Speaker 6: side hustle.
- 5:29Speaker 7: I had no idea it was going to turn out
- 5:31Speaker 7: to what it turned out too. I had just moved
- 5:33Speaker 7: back from Melbourne. I had left not a spoort, I
- 5:35Speaker 7: had nothing else to do. My sister and I were
- 5:37Speaker 7: looking at starting a business together. Let's just do something
- 5:40Speaker 7: for ourselves, not work nine to five for other people.
- 5:43Speaker 7: I had no money, spent all my money trying to
- 5:44Speaker 7: open this up, and I thought, God, I would just
- 5:46Speaker 7: love like another thousand bucks a week or a little
- 5:48Speaker 7: bit of extra money until our business actually starts making money.
- 5:51Speaker 7: And I had a few girlfriends who are like you
- 5:53Speaker 7: should really get on OnlyFans. I had a few fans
- 5:55Speaker 7: that were messaging me and I thought, you know what,
- 5:57Speaker 7: I'm just going to do it, and yeah, I started
- 5:59Speaker 7: my a couple of days later and it's been history
- 6:02Speaker 7: ever since.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Basically, Renee, would you agree that having a profile you're
- 6:07Speaker 1: a V eight supercar driver and that brings with it
- 6:09Speaker 1: some profile We've seen other onlyfan success stories who may
- 6:12Speaker 1: have been on a reality TV show. Just that gives
- 6:15Speaker 1: you sort of that position. Do you think that gave
- 6:18Speaker 1: you an edge?
- 6:20Speaker 7: Yes, definitely. I was very fortunate when I started. I
- 6:24Speaker 7: knew that my race fans were quite loyal, so I
- 6:25Speaker 7: knew that they would support me no matter what I did.
- 6:27Speaker 7: They followed me even though I wasn't racing, So I
- 6:30Speaker 7: felt confident in doing that and I knew that that
- 6:32Speaker 7: fan base was going to be there. Knowing that I
- 6:34Speaker 7: had that support system in the beginning is probably what
- 6:37Speaker 7: maybe do it. And I definitely think if you're known
- 6:39Speaker 7: and have a good following base, it really does make
- 6:41Speaker 7: it easy to get those subscribers. Then growing from there
- 6:45Speaker 7: and having people come on your page and those fans
- 6:47Speaker 7: going to their friends, Hey have you seen this person?
- 6:49Speaker 7: Have you seen this girl, you should subscribe her. That's
- 6:51Speaker 7: how you then grow from there. But definitely having a
- 6:54Speaker 7: base of fans who follow you and support you. It's
- 6:57Speaker 7: sort of lucretive for only fans.
- 6:59Speaker 4: So you were saying that obviously it wasn't planned and
- 7:01Speaker 4: it's actually grown into something that you never thought it
- 7:04Speaker 4: could do. So what is the plan, Renee, Like, where
- 7:06Speaker 4: do you want to go from this? What kind of
- 7:07Speaker 4: money are you thinking of making? And how are you
- 7:09Speaker 4: going to I suppose grow your career but also your
- 7:12Speaker 4: life around that.
- 7:14Speaker 7: Honestly, I still every day. In November, it'll be three
- 7:17Speaker 7: years I've been on OnlyFans, and I still get shocked
- 7:20Speaker 7: that I'm still in this position. Ever since I've started it,
- 7:23Speaker 7: it's almost been too good to be true. So I've
- 7:25Speaker 7: been setting myself up from day dot when the money
- 7:27Speaker 7: started rolling in, to know that this will eventually fall
- 7:30Speaker 7: off and it's not going to be forever. But I
- 7:33Speaker 7: think because I have that mindset and that mentality, I
- 7:36Speaker 7: think it set me up to be comfortable knowing that
- 7:38Speaker 7: it will end one day, but it just hasn't, which
- 7:40Speaker 7: is great. So I have all these exit plans and
- 7:43Speaker 7: then I just keep going and my page keeps growing,
- 7:45Speaker 7: and I travel overseas and now I have it overseas audience.
- 7:48Speaker 7: So I feel like for me, i've really in the
- 7:51Speaker 7: last year or two years, the content is my passion.
- 7:54Speaker 7: I love doing the content. I love making videos. I
- 7:57Speaker 7: love taking photos of myself. I love taking photos as
- 8:00Speaker 7: other girls, collaborating, traveling around the world to create content.
- 8:04Speaker 7: And I feel like that's a passion of mine that
- 8:06Speaker 7: I've sort of stumbled into across this Only Fans journey,
- 8:09Speaker 7: and I don't think that's ever going to stop. I
- 8:10Speaker 7: think it's something that I want to do for as
- 8:12Speaker 7: long as as far as I can see. I want
- 8:14Speaker 7: to travel around the world, take amazing photos, take amazing
- 8:16Speaker 7: videos in beautiful locations, and sell them online. I want
- 8:20Speaker 7: to do that forever.
- 8:20Speaker 6: Basically, I adore that.
- 8:22Speaker 5: I feel like you sound so passionate, and as someone
- 8:24Speaker 5: who has been watching you, I hope in a not
- 8:26Speaker 5: a weird way watching you from the sidelines, I'm one
- 8:29Speaker 5: of your TikTok followers. I feel like you're one of
- 8:31Speaker 5: the more authentic girls in the industry.
- 8:34Speaker 4: Hey, we've got to take a quick break here, Renee
- 8:36Speaker 4: Gracie from Only Fans. If you don't mind sticking around
- 8:38Speaker 4: for a little bit. And Victoria, I know there's a
- 8:40Speaker 4: question you want to ask her. You haven't asked it yet.
- 8:42Speaker 4: Come a wait, I want you to do it straight
- 8:43Speaker 4: after this.
- 8:44Speaker 3: Oh, this is a.
- 8:45Speaker 6: Money radio show.
- 8:46Speaker 5: I'm going to be asking her how much she makes
- 8:48Speaker 5: and low key off the record, I reckon it's going
- 8:50Speaker 5: to be in the six figure.
- 8:51Speaker 3: Around Oh my god.
- 8:52Speaker 5: Yeah, like you're going to retire from radio, my friend,
- 8:55Speaker 5: You're going to become actual billion dollar virus.
- 8:58Speaker 3: So we're actually going to ask that after this.
- 8:59Speaker 6: Yeah, actually going to ask her how much money do
- 9:01Speaker 6: you make? Otherwise, why are you coming on my show?
- 9:03Speaker 2: Stick around? What are you going to do that? Next?
- 9:05Speaker 2: You might hang up? Hopefully she doesn't stay right for me,
- 9:08Speaker 2: she sticks around. Victoria. If people have just tuned in,
- 9:11Speaker 2: tell them what we've been up to.
- 9:12Speaker 6: We've been chatting to Renee.
- 9:14Speaker 5: She is an absolute hustler on the platform only fans
- 9:17Speaker 5: if you haven't heard of it before. It's an online
- 9:19Speaker 5: platform and app that was established in twenty sixteen where
- 9:22Speaker 5: people can pay for content, photos, videos, live streams for
- 9:26Speaker 5: a monthly membership, and they can also request custom content.
- 9:30Speaker 5: Renee has been making bank on this, but I want
- 9:33Speaker 5: to go back to it. You said something before which
- 9:34Speaker 5: I think a lot of people think about this type
- 9:37Speaker 5: of content, and that's that it's not going to last forever.
- 9:39Speaker 5: And I talk to all my clients doing this, I'm like,
- 9:42Speaker 5: what's the game plan? Are we starting another business? Are
- 9:44Speaker 5: we investing? Are we creating wealth in the future. I
- 9:47Speaker 5: know you have a beautiful home that you are currently
- 9:50Speaker 5: investing in, but are you investing in it any other way?
- 9:53Speaker 7: Property is my side hustle. That's where I put my
- 9:55Speaker 7: money into an invest I've done other businesses, but I
- 9:58Speaker 7: just dealing with customers and stuff like that. Quite honestly,
- 10:01Speaker 7: it's not my thing. I'm just too much of a hothead.
- 10:04Speaker 7: I don't have patience. I like being in control more so,
- 10:07Speaker 7: I've discovered sort of me being in control of my
- 10:09Speaker 7: own content and how I make my money now is
- 10:11Speaker 7: exactly how it needs to be. So for me, it's
- 10:14Speaker 7: the property side of things. It is like my ultimate goal.
- 10:17Speaker 7: I've got investment properties at the moment, the plan to
- 10:20Speaker 7: potentially develop and build properties. That's sort of how I
- 10:23Speaker 7: see my future going. I've done a little dabble in
- 10:26Speaker 7: the building side of things with this home that I've
- 10:28Speaker 7: been at the moment and invested in building a pool
- 10:30Speaker 7: area and increasing the value of my property. And it's
- 10:32Speaker 7: a weird addiction for me because I love like building,
- 10:35Speaker 7: DIY being creative. I think that's a part of the
- 10:38Speaker 7: content side where I'm so passionate about it. So I'll
- 10:41Speaker 7: see a bathroom and be like, that's a really nice bathroom.
- 10:43Speaker 7: Going to take a photo of this because I want
- 10:44Speaker 7: to make this bathroom in a house that I buy
- 10:46Speaker 7: in the future or something like that. So I love
- 10:48Speaker 7: for me, that's my goal.
- 10:49Speaker 5: Yeah, I feel like you are so switched on, and
- 10:52Speaker 5: I think that this is such a misconception about the
- 10:54Speaker 5: industry that you work in, that everyone might be a
- 10:57Speaker 5: little bit airy fairy, Whereas I find that my clients
- 11:01Speaker 5: and the girls that I know that do only fans,
- 11:03Speaker 5: they know what they're doing. They are making bank and
- 11:05Speaker 5: putting future them in the best possible position, and I'm honestly,
- 11:08Speaker 5: I'm always so shocked and proud of them because I'm like,
- 11:11Speaker 5: get it.
- 11:12Speaker 7: Yeah, it's one of those things, the stigma that comes
- 11:15Speaker 7: with the sex industry obviously, but a lot of girls
- 11:17Speaker 7: I've found I've done coaching and stuff as well for
- 11:19Speaker 7: girls on only fans, and most of them are in
- 11:21Speaker 7: the sex industry, whether they're you know, sex workers, maybe
- 11:24Speaker 7: they just work at a bar, at strip club, whatever
- 11:26Speaker 7: it is, but they're studying seeing people. The money is great.
- 11:30Speaker 7: Most of these girls are trying to better themselves that
- 11:32Speaker 7: most of them want to be nurses or buy a
- 11:34Speaker 7: house or do something for their kids. And most of
- 11:37Speaker 7: them understand that what they're doing is giving them enough
- 11:41Speaker 7: money to get to where they want to be. So
- 11:43Speaker 7: they're all quite intelligent and smart in how they're using
- 11:46Speaker 7: the money that they have because they also know that
- 11:48Speaker 7: they're not going to be a striper forever. They're not
- 11:50Speaker 7: going to be in the sex industry forever, because there
- 11:51Speaker 7: will be time a time where they're forty, fifty, sixty
- 11:53Speaker 7: years old and they don't want to be in it anymore. Yeah,
- 11:56Speaker 7: and a lot of them have that in the front
- 11:58Speaker 7: of mind when they're working, which actually for them to
- 12:00Speaker 7: be quite intelligent, smart and strategic with what they do
- 12:03Speaker 7: with their money and how they set themselves up.
- 12:05Speaker 6: Yeah, one hundred percent.
- 12:06Speaker 5: I mean, it's the oldest industry in the entire world,
- 12:09Speaker 5: and at the end of the day, sex work is
- 12:11Speaker 5: real work. It is real money and it is not
- 12:13Speaker 5: an easy thing to do, so I applaud you for
- 12:15Speaker 5: being so passionate about it.
- 12:16Speaker 2: Thank you, and Renee.
- 12:18Speaker 4: If you ever want to buy yourself an F one team,
- 12:20Speaker 4: I would make an amazing team principle, So just keep
- 12:23Speaker 4: that in mind, you shameless.
- 12:26Speaker 7: I hasn't been out of my budget at the moment,
- 12:29Speaker 7: but at.
- 12:29Speaker 5: That moment I like the optimism. Renee, perfect question. But
- 12:33Speaker 5: this is at the end of the day a money
- 12:35Speaker 5: radio show. I want to know how much money are
- 12:37Speaker 5: you making.
- 12:39Speaker 7: I'm clearing safely over one hundred thousand dollars a month.
- 12:42Speaker 3: Holy moly.
- 12:43Speaker 1: Well, and I'd just like to announce I've retired from
- 12:47Speaker 1: Kiss and I'm getting into only fans guys.
- 12:49Speaker 3: So you, guys, so you have a.
- 12:50Speaker 2: Good time, good life.
- 12:52Speaker 6: Billion dollar Byron.
- 12:53Speaker 4: I've seen what he's got to offer, and it's not
- 12:55Speaker 4: worth one hundred grand a month.
- 12:56Speaker 2: I'll give you.
- 12:56Speaker 5: Oh well, Renee, maybe can coach him a little bit.
- 13:00Speaker 4: Hey, Thank you so much Renee for jumping on the
- 13:02Speaker 4: line with us this morning, right here, and she's on
- 13:04Speaker 4: the Money radio show.
- 13:05Speaker 7: Thank you so much, guys, thanks for having me.
- 13:06Speaker 4: And look, if OnlyFans isn't an option for you. But
- 13:09Speaker 4: you still got yourself a money dilemma. You need a
- 13:11Speaker 4: little bit of a helping hands. You can hit us
- 13:14Speaker 4: up anytime, just search. She's on the Money on Socials.
- 13:18Speaker 4: This week we've got Claire who wants to know this.
- 13:21Speaker 1: Byron, Oh, her house is bursting at the seams, Victoria,
- 13:23Speaker 1: I mean this is extraordinary.
- 13:25Speaker 6: For it a problem you can resonate with is.
- 13:27Speaker 3: Well, No, it's not as a bachelor who lives alone.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Thanks for reminding me, Billy, you dollar mansion a tiny
- 13:32Speaker 1: home for Claire with a husband and four very young kids.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Now there's a situation she finds herself in. She desperately
- 13:37Speaker 1: needs your help.
- 13:38Speaker 4: We'll get to that next right here on she's on
- 13:41Speaker 4: the Money radio show.
- 13:43Speaker 2: This is She's on the Money radio show.
- 13:45Speaker 6: We've got a money dilemma, don't we track?
- 13:47Speaker 3: Let's do this not their slogan.
- 13:50Speaker 4: Yeah, each week we bring somebody's financial story on her
- 13:53Speaker 4: to give Victoria's advice on what they should do. Now Byron,
- 13:56Speaker 4: Clara centers a DM which you can do at any time.
- 13:59Speaker 2: Just search. She's on the Money on Socials.
- 14:01Speaker 1: Yeah, she says, hi, v I live in a tiny home.
- 14:03Speaker 1: With my husband and four very young children. The kids
- 14:07Speaker 1: share a bedroom. We have one bathroom, victoria, no playroom,
- 14:12Speaker 1: no space. I feel like we're bursting at the seams
- 14:15Speaker 1: in kastrophobic. The thing is, we'll have this house's mortgage
- 14:18Speaker 1: paid off in six years time, We'll still be young,
- 14:21Speaker 1: and we can look at investment opportunities.
- 14:22Speaker 7: Then.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Now, if we were to renovate or buy a larger
- 14:26Speaker 1: family home, which clearly they want to they need the space,
- 14:29Speaker 1: we would then have a mortgage of one to one
- 14:31Speaker 1: point one million. I'm not sure I can stick out
- 14:33Speaker 1: the six years. I don't want the kids to be
- 14:35Speaker 1: too old to enjoy our dream home. Do we buy
- 14:38Speaker 1: at the bullet and live our dream now and put
- 14:40Speaker 1: ourselves in more debt? Or do we just suck it
- 14:42Speaker 1: up and say, all right, we're sacrificing our sanity and happiness.
- 14:45Speaker 3: Or is there another way? It's an interesting one.
- 14:47Speaker 5: There's one thousand percent another way, and the other way
- 14:49Speaker 5: is to either talk to a financial advisor or a
- 14:51Speaker 5: mortgage broker. I just feel like this is worthy of
- 14:54Speaker 5: a bigger conversation, because if you're going to pay off
- 14:57Speaker 5: your mortgage in six years time, that might be your
- 14:59Speaker 5: number one priority and your absolute value. But if you
- 15:02Speaker 5: talk to a mortgage broker about the equity that's currently
- 15:05Speaker 5: in your property, you might be able to leverage it
- 15:07Speaker 5: up so that you can buy another property. You might
- 15:10Speaker 5: go into more debt, but you could maybe rent out
- 15:12Speaker 5: the one that you have and end up in the
- 15:14Speaker 5: long term in a better, more secure financial position. But
- 15:17Speaker 5: it's all about the strategy in planning. You don't want
- 15:20Speaker 5: to sit down and just go, oh, my gosh, the
- 15:21Speaker 5: debt is the biggest problem, because we know there's good
- 15:24Speaker 5: debt and then there's bad debt. Good debt is the
- 15:26Speaker 5: type of debt that creates wealth for us. It means
- 15:29Speaker 5: that once it's paid off, we're in a better financial
- 15:31Speaker 5: position because of it, and bad debt is consumer debt
- 15:34Speaker 5: like credit cards or things that actually put us in
- 15:37Speaker 5: a less profitable and less good position, where at the
- 15:41Speaker 5: end of the day, once a debt's paid off, we're
- 15:43Speaker 5: left with nothing. So what type of debt is this
- 15:46Speaker 5: and what type of goals do you have for wealth
- 15:48Speaker 5: creation in the future, and how do we actually make
- 15:51Speaker 5: it all fit together so that you live the life
- 15:53Speaker 5: that you deserve now but also put yourself in the
- 15:56Speaker 5: best financial position in the.
- 15:57Speaker 1: Future right because the kids, and she said, like an
- 16:00Speaker 1: incredible mum and very committed, you would hope that you
- 16:03Speaker 1: could try and live in a situation that wasn't like this,
- 16:06Speaker 1: because you don't want the kids to look back on
- 16:08Speaker 1: their childhood as here, I shared a room with my
- 16:11Speaker 1: two brothers and life was tough, Like if there's a
- 16:14Speaker 1: way to change this, you'd want to try and find it,
- 16:16Speaker 1: wouldn't You.
- 16:16Speaker 5: Think it's about just putting yourself in the best possible position.
- 16:19Speaker 5: I mean, there's a lot of privilege in already owning
- 16:21Speaker 5: your own property. That is definitely a dream that doesn't
- 16:25Speaker 5: come true for every single Australian. But it's all about, well,
- 16:28Speaker 5: what options do we have out there? Another option if
- 16:30Speaker 5: you don't want to go into one to one point
- 16:32Speaker 5: one million dollars.
- 16:33Speaker 6: Worth of debt, is rent vesting an option for you.
- 16:36Speaker 5: That's where we buy a property rented out in a
- 16:38Speaker 5: position or in a location that maybe you don't want
- 16:41Speaker 5: to live at the moment, go and rent a property,
- 16:43Speaker 5: but the income that you gain from renting out your
- 16:45Speaker 5: property pays your rent in another location, while you still
- 16:49Speaker 5: spash down your mortgage and you end up in a
- 16:51Speaker 5: very good position long term. So it's just what do
- 16:53Speaker 5: you want to do when it comes to the bigger picture,
- 16:56Speaker 5: and sometimes you need some professional help to get you there.
- 16:58Speaker 4: And I also think that people have the wrong way around.
- 17:00Speaker 4: They think they need to buy a place and live
- 17:03Speaker 4: in that place, where no, you can go and buy
- 17:05Speaker 4: that investment property, live the life that you want to
- 17:07Speaker 4: and then before you know it, you could actually buy
- 17:09Speaker 4: the place that you've been renting, or a place that's
- 17:11Speaker 4: in the same area you've been renting.
- 17:12Speaker 5: And I'd argue, let's be honest, little financial advisor hat
- 17:16Speaker 5: on here, if you're saying that you can service another
- 17:19Speaker 5: mortgage of one to one point one million dollars, you're
- 17:21Speaker 5: probably in a pretty okay financial position, and advice would
- 17:25Speaker 5: be a really good idea because let's make the most
- 17:28Speaker 5: of that instead of guessing and hoping and making sure
- 17:30Speaker 5: it works.
- 17:31Speaker 6: Financial advice, honestly, I know it can be quite.
- 17:34Speaker 5: Cost prohibitive for a lot of people, but it puts
- 17:36Speaker 5: you in such.
- 17:37Speaker 6: A better position.
- 17:39Speaker 5: You could put your clients in a position where they
- 17:40Speaker 5: literally have millions of dollars worth of money because of you,
- 17:44Speaker 5: and your fees are at what three to six thousand
- 17:46Speaker 5: dollars or if you see a mortgage broker, they don't
- 17:48Speaker 5: even charge you money.
- 17:49Speaker 4: Win money. When she's done it again by why she's
- 17:52Speaker 4: a subtle.
- 17:52Speaker 5: Plug for Zella Money, my financial advice and broken company subtlereack.
- 17:57Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm as subtle as a bull in a china shop.
- 17:59Speaker 7: All right.
- 18:00Speaker 4: If you've got a question on how Zella Money can
- 18:02Speaker 4: work for you, know how we can help you right
- 18:05Speaker 4: here at She's on the money. All you got to
- 18:07Speaker 4: do just search us on socials anywhere. We'll get another
- 18:10Speaker 4: question next.
- 18:10Speaker 5: So she's on the money literally on any platform or
- 18:13Speaker 5: Zelo Journey, whichever one's after here.
- 18:15Speaker 4: All right, mate, it's time for you to do some work.
- 18:17Speaker 4: Super Savi Saturday coming up next. We want to know
- 18:20Speaker 4: what super saving tips you've got in your little back pocket.
- 18:23Speaker 3: Divine.
- 18:23Speaker 5: It is my favorite time of the week, which obviously
- 18:26Speaker 5: at this point in time.
- 18:28Speaker 6: If you'll just got really expensive, I'm over it. I'm
- 18:31Speaker 6: over it. We need to save more money together.
- 18:33Speaker 3: Super Save a Saturday.
- 18:35Speaker 4: Yeah, every single week, Victoria, you give us a little
- 18:37Speaker 4: bit of sneaky tips on how we can keep more
- 18:39Speaker 4: money in our bank accounts.
- 18:41Speaker 5: I pretend to so far, so good though, and this
- 18:43Speaker 5: week I've got one for you about groceries. But before
- 18:46Speaker 5: we get there, I'm going to talk about the first
- 18:48Speaker 5: time super Savis scheme, which is an absolute mouthful. If
- 18:51Speaker 5: you say it that quickly, you will yeah, thank you,
- 18:53Speaker 5: thank you. I've been saying it for a really long time,
- 18:55Speaker 5: but recently my community people have been asking about it,
- 18:58Speaker 5: so I thought that we'd put it in as a
- 19:00Speaker 5: tip because you can actually be in a much better
- 19:03Speaker 5: financial position because of it. So when it comes to
- 19:06Speaker 5: purchasing your first home, everybody in Australia that has a
- 19:10Speaker 5: supranuation fund has access to this scheme. And basically what
- 19:13Speaker 5: it means is that you can make voluntary contributions, which
- 19:16Speaker 5: sounds a bit lame, but basically voluntary is where you
- 19:19Speaker 5: volunteer to make additional contributions to your superranuation and this
- 19:24Speaker 5: helps you save for your first home. So I've said
- 19:27Speaker 5: it on my podcast before, but I believe that supranuation
- 19:30Speaker 5: or the system of superannuation is the closest thing that
- 19:33Speaker 5: you can come to in Australia as a tax haven.
- 19:35Speaker 5: So basically what this means is you can contribute up
- 19:38Speaker 5: to fifteen thousand dollars each.
- 19:40Speaker 6: And every single financial year.
- 19:41Speaker 5: To this scheme, you basically just dump it into your
- 19:44Speaker 5: superranuation up to a total of fifty thousand dollars money win.
- 19:49Speaker 5: And that means that the tax rate inside super is
- 19:52Speaker 5: used instead of your marginal tax rate. So let's say
- 19:55Speaker 5: TRAV you have a tax rate of thirty two and
- 19:58Speaker 5: a half percent each and every single year, which most
- 20:00Speaker 5: Australians do before super.
- 20:03Speaker 6: If you put fifteen.
- 20:04Speaker 5: Thousand dollars into your bank account at thirty two and
- 20:06Speaker 5: a half percent tax, it means that you would have
- 20:09Speaker 5: after tax ten thousand, one hundred and twenty five dollars. Okay,
- 20:13Speaker 5: that makes sense before tax. If you decide to put
- 20:16Speaker 5: it into your first home super savor scheme, fifteen grand
- 20:19Speaker 5: at a fifteen percent superranuation rate becomes twelve thousand, seven
- 20:24Speaker 5: hundred and fifty dollars more than twenty seven hundred dollars
- 20:28Speaker 5: just by using this scheme, and if we extrapolate that out,
- 20:31Speaker 5: means that if you go up to the cap of
- 20:34Speaker 5: fifty thousand dollars, so over a few years you've been
- 20:37Speaker 5: saving for your first home, you are thirteen thousand, seven
- 20:40Speaker 5: hundred and fifty dollars better off by using this system
- 20:43Speaker 5: free money.
- 20:43Speaker 3: Can can you ask your payrolls?
- 20:46Speaker 2: Yep?
- 20:46Speaker 1: Can they make those contributions for you? You literally just
- 20:48Speaker 1: say to them, can you put extra inpluce?
- 20:50Speaker 7: Yes?
- 20:50Speaker 5: Absolutely, you can ask payroll or you can wait until
- 20:52Speaker 5: you've got money in your savings and you're comfortable to
- 20:55Speaker 5: pop it into super so it can have already come
- 20:57Speaker 5: to your bank account. You can already have been paid
- 20:59Speaker 5: it because you can actually just choose to transfer it.
- 21:02Speaker 5: You can just be pay it so easy straight to
- 21:04Speaker 5: your super fund. It means that you will get the
- 21:06Speaker 5: tax back at tax time because you've obviously already paid it.
- 21:09Speaker 5: But it all comes out in the wash, and in
- 21:11Speaker 5: the wash you end up in a far better financial position.
- 21:13Speaker 6: So that is my first hot tip.
- 21:15Speaker 4: Well, okay, you have a big shoe to fuel right there,
- 21:19Speaker 4: fir and cook?
- 21:20Speaker 2: What what you got is your second tip?
- 21:23Speaker 5: Like, I got a sandwich fifty percent off because I
- 21:24Speaker 5: bought it at three pm?
- 21:25Speaker 3: Okay, okay, remember who the guest is here? Please?
- 21:29Speaker 1: No, I know we're in sort of the realm of supermarkets, okay.
- 21:32Speaker 6: And I know it's supermarkets.
- 21:34Speaker 1: There is this popular half price app with up to
- 21:36Speaker 1: date specials for your favorite Ossie supermarkets, so you're literally
- 21:39Speaker 1: getting stuff for half price.
- 21:40Speaker 2: Yeah legit, Oh yeah, half price app. I use this one.
- 21:43Speaker 4: So basically it shows you every supermarket, Willis, Coles, you
- 21:46Speaker 4: name it, and everything that's fifty percent off install that week.
- 21:49Speaker 1: Absolutely, I mean, let's be very transparent about this. I'm
- 21:53Speaker 1: literally just reading this off a sheet that Victoria gave me.
- 21:56Speaker 6: Yeah, you're welcome.
- 21:57Speaker 1: But if I knew where to find that app right now,
- 21:59Speaker 1: which try to make you would be a store.
- 22:00Speaker 3: Yeah great? And so do you literally just type in
- 22:02Speaker 3: tolf fction half.
- 22:03Speaker 6: Price app to your apps to download that app.
- 22:05Speaker 5: And the cool thing is gorne of the days of
- 22:08Speaker 5: you going to your mailbox, getting all the catalogs, going
- 22:10Speaker 5: through it seeing.
- 22:11Speaker 6: What's on special.
- 22:12Speaker 5: All of the supermarkets are on one app, so you
- 22:14Speaker 5: just scroll through, workout where everything is the cheapest, and
- 22:17Speaker 5: then go shopping.
- 22:18Speaker 4: I used to be a pamphlet deliver I used to
- 22:19Speaker 4: get ten bucks per week delivering those pamphlets.
- 22:22Speaker 6: Hey that's a really good deal for the person who
- 22:24Speaker 6: wanted the pamphlets.
- 22:27Speaker 1: Now that is a great app, and I would just
- 22:28Speaker 1: say this is an additional supermarket tip. So I put
- 22:31Speaker 1: this in as two A it's like an addendum, use
- 22:34Speaker 1: avocado for everything. Seriously, avocados are still so cheap. I've
- 22:38Speaker 1: been making so much guak you wouldn't believe it.
- 22:40Speaker 3: Guys, that's a good tip. Genuinely, they are so cheap.
- 22:43Speaker 1: They're about a dollar seventy depending where you are in Australia,
- 22:45Speaker 1: and they're ripe, and they're delicious, and there is still
- 22:47Speaker 1: an oversupply of avocado.
- 22:49Speaker 3: Google avocado recipes and cash in.
- 22:51Speaker 5: Billon dollar Byron brought to you by Avocados Australia.
- 22:55Speaker 2: The hell are you talking?
- 22:56Speaker 3: Oh?
- 22:57Speaker 6: He thinks is so funny.
- 22:58Speaker 5: Do you know what he would have spent all of
- 23:00Speaker 5: that time that you were talking thinking up.
- 23:02Speaker 4: That now going to a better one will be the
- 23:03Speaker 4: jest that I was going to walk into the station today,
- 23:06Speaker 4: but I have.
- 23:07Speaker 3: A CARDO have a car.
- 23:10Speaker 2: On that though. We've got to get out of here.
- 23:11Speaker 4: But Victoria, you're going to be at the Tivley tonight
- 23:14Speaker 4: in Brisbane.
- 23:15Speaker 5: You can still get hicks come say hi, I wait around. Honestly,
- 23:19Speaker 5: I will be there until the last person leaves.
- 23:22Speaker 7: Good.
- 23:22Speaker 1: Probably have when you're number one in your category, number
- 23:24Speaker 1: five in Australia.
- 23:25Speaker 6: Yeah, good from us.
- 23:26Speaker 5: All right up next, you've got million dollar Mitch back.
- 23:29Speaker 5: Don't worry, he'll be back next week. The lauron't have
- 23:31Speaker 5: to put up with billion dollar Byron for too long.
- 23:33Speaker 6: Jeezu, slide into my dam you.
- 23:36Speaker 3: I've given you the avocado.
- 23:37Speaker 6: Tip tip was elite, all.
- 23:40Speaker 3: Right, thank you.
- 23:40Speaker 4: The Life One Cut Show Laura BYRN Brett Hockley that
- 23:43Speaker 4: is coming up next.
- 23:43Speaker 2: We'll see you next week, guys,
