Transcript
- 0:05Speaker 1: Apogee Production. Welcome to the She Rises Podcast. I'm Ashy
- 0:13Speaker 1: and I'm Tiana.
- 0:14Speaker 2: This podcast is about female empowerment and encouraging you to
- 0:17Speaker 2: be your biggest, boldest, and most authentic version of yourself.
- 0:20Speaker 1: We help you shed the shame, grow to a new level.
- 0:23Speaker 1: We're gonna laugh, cry, and talk about the topics everyone
- 0:26Speaker 1: else is too afraid to talk about.
- 0:28Speaker 2: Get ready for your next level of self. Welcome back
- 0:31Speaker 2: to another episode of She Rises with Ashy and Tiana.
- 0:34Speaker 2: It is Monday morning, so wherever it is that you're
- 0:36Speaker 2: plugging in from the car or walk your home, your bed,
- 0:39Speaker 2: even who knows, we have an episode for you. We
- 0:42Speaker 2: want to talk all today about our inner child when
- 0:45Speaker 2: we first met her in a child, personal experiences of
- 0:47Speaker 2: our inner child sabotaging us out of fear, and how
- 0:50Speaker 2: you can kind of come into yourself and really bring
- 0:53Speaker 2: yours forward and connect with her today.
- 0:55Speaker 1: And if you're listening thinking, oh, I don't need to
- 0:56Speaker 1: do that work or I don't connect with my inner child,
- 0:58Speaker 1: I just think that as well. But this work is
- 1:01Speaker 1: truly so transformative and actually are freaking important that you
- 1:06Speaker 1: connect with you and your child because she is always
- 1:07Speaker 1: a part of you before we get in Share of
- 1:09Speaker 1: the week when I go first.
- 1:10Speaker 2: Absolutely so. My Share of the Week is actually a
- 1:13Speaker 2: jewelry brand that I found. So it's called Y C. L.
- 1:16Speaker 2: I believe there's a little pop up store at Pacfair
- 1:19Speaker 2: in front of Honeybourdette. If you know where it is,
- 1:22Speaker 2: you'll find it there. It's actually where I bought Ashy's
- 1:24Speaker 2: birthday present from her necklace. It's a four four Ford necklace.
- 1:28Speaker 2: It's very cute.
- 1:28Speaker 1: That's my birthstone on it too.
- 1:30Speaker 2: Yes, And I just I love all the jewelry pieces.
- 1:32Speaker 2: They're very dainty jewelry. They've also got big and bulky
- 1:34Speaker 2: jelry there too, but it's just really cute, fine necklaces, bracelets, rings,
- 1:38Speaker 2: And I'm just very in a jewelry error at the moment.
- 1:41Speaker 1: I love that we are in our jewelry era.
- 1:43Speaker 2: Don't build my stack, babe, Yeah.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Love it. And then my recommendation, I'm doubting myself for
- 1:48Speaker 1: I've already recommended this. But it's a TV show called
- 1:51Speaker 1: The Beast in Meat. Okay, it is very edge of
- 1:54Speaker 1: your seat. It's crime. It's a bit of thriller. There's
- 1:57Speaker 1: murder in there. It's twisted it's based around this author
- 2:00Speaker 1: and a serial psycho killer. And yes, the actors actresses
- 2:05Speaker 1: are just incredible in there. And we've binged it in
- 2:08Speaker 1: a couple of days. I think, Oh, I love that.
- 2:09Speaker 1: That is only eight episodes, but things happen that you
- 2:12Speaker 1: didn't think were going to happen. I love those ones
- 2:14Speaker 1: where I can't figure out what's gonna happen.
- 2:15Speaker 2: Yeah. It keeps you thinking, yeah, yeah and excited.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Really good, all right, let's get into it in a
- 2:21Speaker 1: child work. Really, I feel like I got introduced to
- 2:24Speaker 1: in a child where probably over ten years ago, and
- 2:26Speaker 1: I remember the first time that I was introduced to
- 2:29Speaker 1: I was like, what the fuck is this bullshit? I
- 2:31Speaker 1: honestly I did, and I was like, this is just stupid.
- 2:34Speaker 1: I'm not a child, I'm an adult, Like, what do
- 2:37Speaker 1: you mean connect with her?
- 2:38Speaker 2: Like?
- 2:38Speaker 1: I just couldn't understand the concept. And it was only, honestly,
- 2:42Speaker 1: maybe a couple of years ago. But the first time
- 2:45Speaker 1: I did a guided meditation with Megsie. I've done a
- 2:48Speaker 1: bit of work on it before, and I definitely believe
- 2:50Speaker 1: the importance of it, and I understood it to a
- 2:52Speaker 1: certain degree, but I hadn't fully connected with my inner child.
- 2:56Speaker 1: So she took me through this beautiful guided meditation and
- 2:59Speaker 1: took me back through all these really traumatic times in
- 3:02Speaker 1: my life. I remember things I didn't even I'd never
- 3:05Speaker 1: spoken about before, I'd never remembered. She wrote it all down,
- 3:07Speaker 1: so we got to talk about it afterwards. But I
- 3:10Speaker 1: vividly remember like sitting at the end of my bed
- 3:12Speaker 1: with my in a child and like me, age must
- 3:14Speaker 1: have been five or six or something, and like white
- 3:17Speaker 1: blonde hair, and just what I was wearing and how
- 3:19Speaker 1: scared she was and what she felt. And I was
- 3:22Speaker 1: just bawling my eyes. And ever since I've connected with her,
- 3:25Speaker 1: it's like, you can't not be connected. Yeah, She's like
- 3:28Speaker 1: with you, and she always need you. And every time
- 3:31Speaker 1: that I get scared or something shows up, I'm just like, oh,
- 3:35Speaker 1: what does she need right now? Because even though the
- 3:36Speaker 1: adult part of me is showing up, is scared or
- 3:39Speaker 1: frustrated or wanting something, it's your little girl there too,
- 3:42Speaker 1: who's like screaming to be seen and screaming to be
- 3:44Speaker 1: heard or validated. And it's just so cool when you
- 3:48Speaker 1: have that compassion for her, you have that compassion for
- 3:51Speaker 1: yourself because you're your one. Yeah, if that makes sense. Yeah, absolutely,
- 3:54Speaker 1: that's what I can describe it. It does, it is
- 3:56Speaker 1: and so true.
- 3:57Speaker 2: I didn't really know what in a child work was
- 4:00Speaker 2: before I had worked with this one coach. He is incredible,
- 4:04Speaker 2: say beautiful, such a healing like masculine presence to be around.
- 4:08Speaker 2: His name is Rick William who's.
- 4:09Speaker 1: Actually coming in Rise and Side.
- 4:11Speaker 2: He's actually an expert guest who's bringing an expert training
- 4:15Speaker 2: for you guys inside. And honestly, he changed my life,
- 4:19Speaker 2: Like we worked together consistently for six months, incredible, and
- 4:23Speaker 2: we basically did in a child healing for six months
- 4:25Speaker 2: straight weekly, one call a week for six months and
- 4:29Speaker 2: we just went ham every single week. And at first
- 4:33Speaker 2: I couldn't describe how it felt after the fact, but
- 4:36Speaker 2: I just remember even in the very beginning when he
- 4:38Speaker 2: first took me through that process, feeling so just like
- 4:41Speaker 2: gobsmacked and so shocked with how much lighter energetically I
- 4:45Speaker 2: felt afterwards. And at first, obviously when you're doing the
- 4:48Speaker 2: process and I'm sure he'll take you through something inside
- 4:51Speaker 2: Rise and Side, it's a scary thing to go through
- 4:54Speaker 2: because it's a very vulnerable thing and you're right, like
- 4:56Speaker 2: you remember things and remember moments in time that you
- 5:00Speaker 2: don't consciously think about. You don't think that you remember that,
- 5:03Speaker 2: and then your body remembers. It's crazy, crazy experience. I
- 5:07Speaker 2: remember going to him just feeling really lost and not
- 5:09Speaker 2: knowing my next steps and feeling really disconnected from myself
- 5:12Speaker 2: and really scared. I felt real timid and just terrified
- 5:16Speaker 2: of life and big things and gross and all of
- 5:19Speaker 2: those things. After working with him, I really noticed myself
- 5:22Speaker 2: really start to come out of my shell in terms
- 5:24Speaker 2: of not being scared of being visible anymore. Like I
- 5:27Speaker 2: was like, okay, cool, Like no, I can talk on
- 5:29Speaker 2: social media more and I can be visible and people
- 5:31Speaker 2: can see me as myself and see me sharing my
- 5:34Speaker 2: wisdom the things that I want to express and get
- 5:36Speaker 2: across to people. And it just gave me this confidence
- 5:39Speaker 2: in myself because I was able to let go of
- 5:43Speaker 2: all of the fear that was kind of I was
- 5:45Speaker 2: hiding underneath. And it was like we pulled back every
- 5:47Speaker 2: single session. It was like a layer of fear being
- 5:50Speaker 2: pulled back, and slowly I kind of started to come
- 5:53Speaker 2: out and emerge oh and felt just more confident in
- 5:56Speaker 2: myself as a human. And it was through connecting with
- 6:00Speaker 2: that version of myself. I had so much compassion for
- 6:02Speaker 2: the little girl in me who was terrified of life,
- 6:06Speaker 2: terrified of experiencing life, of failing, of being seen judged,
- 6:12Speaker 2: all of those things, all things that I experienced so
- 6:14Speaker 2: much when I was younger, And so yeah, it was
- 6:18Speaker 2: just a really pivotal experience and it really was a
- 6:21Speaker 2: catalyst in my growth and personal development journey to feel
- 6:25Speaker 2: not so scared of being visible, you know. And I
- 6:27Speaker 2: remember doing an interview with him after and he was
- 6:30Speaker 2: just like, Tiana, I just can't believe how much you've
- 6:31Speaker 2: come out into yourself now because of all of that.
- 6:34Speaker 2: And I'm like, that's because for six months straight, once
- 6:36Speaker 2: a week, I was crying my eyes out while you
- 6:38Speaker 2: walk me through it in a child process. Yeah.
- 6:40Speaker 1: So every session was like recession. When you say process
- 6:43Speaker 1: is like a guided meditation, yeah, like makes it.
- 6:45Speaker 2: Yeah, So he gets me to close my eyes, it
- 6:47Speaker 2: walks me through a process, and every single time it
- 6:50Speaker 2: was like a guided meditation slash in a child healing.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:53Speaker 2: And I just met myself in so many ways that
- 6:56Speaker 2: I'd never met myself before. I had let go of pain,
- 7:00Speaker 2: I had let go of fear of self punishment, of
- 7:03Speaker 2: judgment of you know, mental limitations, you know stories that
- 7:07Speaker 2: I used to tell myself, and without all of that
- 7:10Speaker 2: being myself didn't feel so heavy.
- 7:12Speaker 1: How old would you like, you know, you connect with
- 7:14Speaker 1: a certain age, Yeah, should you connect with it?
- 7:16Speaker 2: I remember connecting a lot to when I was around six. Yeah,
- 7:19Speaker 2: and then different stages like seven, eight, twelve, sixteen, fifteen,
- 7:23Speaker 2: twenty one, like all different ages. Yeah, but it started
- 7:27Speaker 2: as low as like five six.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Yeah. It sounds like it's kind of like a process
- 7:31Speaker 1: of meeting it at the different ages. It's like almost
- 7:34Speaker 1: not reliving trauma, but kind of going back and visiting
- 7:37Speaker 1: yourself in those moments. And I remember makes you ask
- 7:40Speaker 1: me like what does she need right now? I'm like, Oh,
- 7:43Speaker 1: she just wants to be held, hug her. It's like
- 7:46Speaker 1: every moment I got to go back and yeah, it
- 7:49Speaker 1: does remove pain that they're feeling, that you're carrying still
- 7:52Speaker 1: in your bodies. I think that's the intention of it
- 7:54Speaker 1: is to actually go back there, meet her there, feel
- 7:57Speaker 1: her in it, hold her in it, and then it
- 7:58Speaker 1: like moves through your body.
- 8:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:00Speaker 1: And for me it was through a lot of tears,
- 8:03Speaker 1: which is so beautiful. It's such important way okay.
- 8:05Speaker 2: And it's funny, and you said things that you don't remember,
- 8:07Speaker 2: things that you don't think that you're remember but your
- 8:09Speaker 2: body remembers. And so to like actually let go of
- 8:12Speaker 2: the things that you don't think impacting you but actually are,
- 8:16Speaker 2: It's like, no wonder why we will walk around feeling
- 8:18Speaker 2: so heavy all the time, drained, exhausted, tired, feeling like
- 8:22Speaker 2: I can't hold one more thing or I'm.
- 8:23Speaker 1: Going to explode.
- 8:24Speaker 2: Yeah, when you think about all the things, all of
- 8:27Speaker 2: the times where you were neglected, dismissed, punished, never held properly,
- 8:32Speaker 2: didn't get your emotional needs met, you're carrying the emotional
- 8:35Speaker 2: trauma from all.
- 8:35Speaker 1: Of those years ago. It's a lot to hold.
- 8:37Speaker 2: It's a lot to hold, and it's hard to have
- 8:39Speaker 2: capacity for anything else. Yeah, when you're carrying all of
- 8:42Speaker 2: those things, You.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Know what in a trial work has made me true,
- 8:45Speaker 1: it's maybe more empathetic and more compassionate. So I think
- 8:48Speaker 1: I was a lot more judgmental for this that if
- 8:50Speaker 1: I saw a man or someone behaving a certain way,
- 8:53Speaker 1: I'd be like, oh, that's so shit, like they shouldn't
- 8:55Speaker 1: be doing that, Whereas now I'm like I just see,
- 8:57Speaker 1: like a wounded little boy that just wants to be seen,
- 8:59Speaker 1: absolutely just wants to feel significant, he wants to feel needed,
- 9:02Speaker 1: or a girl. I'm like, oh, I just see that
- 9:04Speaker 1: little girl so desperately wanting to be validated her experience,
- 9:08Speaker 1: and now it's coming out and maybe not so healthy ways.
- 9:11Speaker 1: So it just makes you more compassion to think about,
- 9:13Speaker 1: like what they might have actually gone through to see
- 9:15Speaker 1: them behave like that, because it's not the behavior that
- 9:18Speaker 1: who that person is. It's normally what they've gone through
- 9:20Speaker 1: how they have not dealt with it yet.
- 9:21Speaker 2: Yeah, And that's as skill to be able to read
- 9:23Speaker 2: between the lines of people's behavior, yes, because that means
- 9:25Speaker 2: that you're not taking their behavior personally because you also
- 9:29Speaker 2: understand that with yourself, the way that you behave is
- 9:32Speaker 2: just the little girl inside of you, Yes, scared, fearful,
- 9:35Speaker 2: wanting love, wanting connection, and.
- 9:37Speaker 1: We literally do it to each other like sometimes if
- 9:39Speaker 1: we have I'm trying to think of an example, maybe
- 9:43Speaker 1: something with a friendship you know, will come up and
- 9:45Speaker 1: I'll be like, oh, I could just feel the little
- 9:47Speaker 1: girl inside me that was never felt like she belonged
- 9:50Speaker 1: and is scared of getting abandoned again Like that little
- 9:52Speaker 1: girl is so prominent in me, and yes, it's how
- 9:54Speaker 1: I'm feeling as an adult, but it's also stemmed from,
- 9:57Speaker 1: you know, being bullied in high school in primary school
- 9:59Speaker 1: and never feeling like I had my safe circle of
- 10:02Speaker 1: people that I could really lean on. We often say
- 10:05Speaker 1: it's like, oh, my little girl is just feeling like this. Yeah,
- 10:07Speaker 1: I remember the TikTok dresses. Oh yes, yeah. We ordered
- 10:11Speaker 1: these two dresses and Tana's idea was like, well, rocks
- 10:13Speaker 1: is paper for whatever one. I was like, yeah, cool,
- 10:15Speaker 1: that sounds good, and then we talked about which one
- 10:17Speaker 1: we actually wanted. I was like, oh, well the orange
- 10:18Speaker 1: and I've had my eyes on a few years and
- 10:19Speaker 1: You're like, yeah, I want that dress too, and then
- 10:21Speaker 1: you were like started apologizing. You're like, oh, sorry, I
- 10:23Speaker 1: just feel like i'm getting a brat right now, and
- 10:25Speaker 1: I'm like, you're not being a brat, and you're like yeah,
- 10:26Speaker 1: but I can notice the little girl and me, yeah,
- 10:28Speaker 1: that felt like being the fourth daughter that always kind
- 10:31Speaker 1: of got the hand me downs and didn't get to
- 10:32Speaker 1: choose because my older sister's got to choose before me. Yes,
- 10:35Speaker 1: and I'm having a moment where it's like you're not
- 10:37Speaker 1: doing anything wrong, there's nothing wrong, or I love the
- 10:38Speaker 1: pink dress. Just having this moment my little girl's coming
- 10:41Speaker 1: forward of like, well I want to have choice here. Yes, Yeah,
- 10:43Speaker 1: it's really interesting.
- 10:44Speaker 2: And that was cool one of those moments. Yeah, it
- 10:46Speaker 2: definitely was because I was having my own experience of
- 10:48Speaker 2: being like, oh, I didn't get to choose what I want,
- 10:50Speaker 2: but you choosing the dress didn't necessarily take away from
- 10:52Speaker 2: my choice. It was just what it brought up for
- 10:55Speaker 2: me was my past experiences. Yes, because I was.
- 10:57Speaker 1: Like, you have the orange dress, baby, like, oh, it's
- 10:59Speaker 1: not actually.
- 10:59Speaker 2: It's not the dress, it's not the harrass dress.
- 11:02Speaker 1: No.
- 11:02Speaker 2: It was just about yeah, feeling like I didn't to
- 11:05Speaker 2: have choice and my once and desires always came second. Yes,
- 11:08Speaker 2: And so that's what that moment triggered for me. That
- 11:10Speaker 2: wasn't about the dresses, it wasn't about you. I ended
- 11:12Speaker 2: up loving the pink dress. I was like, I actually
- 11:14Speaker 2: love this, It's beautiful. But it was just in that
- 11:16Speaker 2: moment that's what came up for me. And talking through
- 11:19Speaker 2: it really helps because it helps you detach from the
- 11:22Speaker 2: moment too. And then that way when I can talk
- 11:24Speaker 2: about it and I can bring it up to you.
- 11:26Speaker 2: I can actually say to you, babe, my inner child
- 11:29Speaker 2: right now is just feeling like, oh my gosh, I
- 11:30Speaker 2: need a bit of love. I can describe it in
- 11:33Speaker 2: a way where I'm not sitting here pointing the finger
- 11:35Speaker 2: at you.
- 11:35Speaker 1: You never let me choose, because why do you get
- 11:38Speaker 1: the orange hirt?
- 11:38Speaker 2: Yeah, that's not at all case. It's not even that
- 11:41Speaker 2: isn't even relevant. But it's about being able to communicate
- 11:45Speaker 2: it in a way where the other person doesn't automatically think, oh, oh,
- 11:48Speaker 2: this person is upset with me.
- 11:49Speaker 1: Yes, but how important is this work? Because if you
- 11:52Speaker 1: didn't do that work with Rick in that moment, I
- 11:55Speaker 1: think it might have come out differently to me. I
- 11:57Speaker 1: would have heard it differently, and maybe you know, would
- 11:59Speaker 1: have been projected differently. I might have felt like I'd
- 12:01Speaker 1: done something wrong. Yeah, there just could have been an
- 12:03Speaker 1: energy that you didn't know how to plain and communicate.
- 12:06Speaker 1: So then it would have been like, oh, I'm just
- 12:07Speaker 1: feeling a sit mind. I'm so I don't know why
- 12:08Speaker 1: am I feeling like this? Anyone listening have you ever
- 12:11Speaker 1: had that moment You're like, I don't know why I'm
- 12:12Speaker 1: still upset. I don't know why this keeps happening or
- 12:15Speaker 1: why I'm still upset about X, Y and Z, like,
- 12:17Speaker 1: and for all the time, there's unhealed trauma and upset
- 12:20Speaker 1: and moments where you've been dismissed and not heard and
- 12:23Speaker 1: validated as a child that then comes out in your
- 12:26Speaker 1: adult life.
- 12:27Speaker 2: I love that you mentioned that because I feel like
- 12:29Speaker 2: this is really relevant for women in relationships. Yes, you know,
- 12:33Speaker 2: I have a fight with your partner and then it's
- 12:34Speaker 2: been like four weeks and you're still going on about it,
- 12:37Speaker 2: and you still internally feel like something here, there's energy,
- 12:40Speaker 2: but I can't explain what it is. And then you're like,
- 12:42Speaker 2: why am I being like this? He's like doing all
- 12:44Speaker 2: the things and doing all the right things and saying
- 12:46Speaker 2: all the things. Why am I still not receptive to it?
- 12:49Speaker 2: I feel like this is really relevant to that. So
- 12:51Speaker 2: the reason why this is so important is because it
- 12:54Speaker 2: allows us to one let go of emotional pain that
- 12:57Speaker 2: holding onto. It allows us to show up in a
- 12:59Speaker 2: way that we're actually really proud of. And it also
- 13:03Speaker 2: allows us to cultivate, like just a shit done, have
- 13:05Speaker 2: compassion for ourselves, you know, having another passion for yourself
- 13:09Speaker 2: and others is almost like a skill that you have
- 13:12Speaker 2: to learn how to do, and when you do, life
- 13:15Speaker 2: feels a lot lighter because you're not assuming the worst
- 13:18Speaker 2: case scenario, you're assuming the best of people. You get
- 13:21Speaker 2: to connect deeper. You also understand why people do what
- 13:25Speaker 2: they do without automatically taking it personally and feeling like
- 13:27Speaker 2: everything that everyone else does is a personal attack because
- 13:30Speaker 2: it's so easy to do that. I've been that person.
- 13:33Speaker 2: I used to think that all the time, so to
- 13:34Speaker 2: think that the world revolved around me and everything everyone
- 13:37Speaker 2: did was always about me, when in actual fact, it
- 13:39Speaker 2: actually does nothing that it's none of my business. What
- 13:41Speaker 2: people do is not about me. It's about what's going
- 13:44Speaker 2: on inside their world and what's happening for them. And
- 13:47Speaker 2: we wanted to bring just a highlight importance to this
- 13:49Speaker 2: because this is exactly what we're working on this month
- 13:51Speaker 2: in Rise Inside. Rick william is going to be our
- 13:55Speaker 2: expert guest speaker this month, and he's going to bring
- 13:57Speaker 2: a beautiful expert training in supporting you in navigating and
- 14:01Speaker 2: learning you're inner child, connecting with her and really being
- 14:05Speaker 2: able to free her from all the pain that she's
- 14:07Speaker 2: holding her. Yeah, we also have two trainings from us
- 14:10Speaker 2: as well, so we're going to have dive into the
- 14:12Speaker 2: inner child and really lead you through it as well
- 14:15Speaker 2: in two trainings.

- 14:28Speaker 1: a lot of inner child healings, meditations, processes. We take
- 14:32Speaker 1: you through quite a bit in there, so you really
- 14:35Speaker 1: get to experience what we have experience and it is
- 14:37Speaker 1: just absolutely life changing. Plus is a PEP talks as well,
- 14:40Speaker 1: and then obviously the forum where you get to chat
- 14:42Speaker 1: with all the other girls. It's going to be absolutely incredible.
- 14:45Speaker 1: I can't wait for Rick. He's so cool.
- 14:47Speaker 2: You're going to absolutely be blown away next month when
- 14:49Speaker 2: the content drops on the first effem.
- 14:51Speaker 1: Yes, So if you have not joined us, we'll leave
- 14:53Speaker 1: the link below you can jump in even if you
- 14:55Speaker 1: just want to do this month, Like if you've listened
- 14:56Speaker 1: to this podcast and you're really resonating with it, or
- 14:59Speaker 1: you've heard a little bit and you've seen a little
- 15:00Speaker 1: bit on social media, like I want to learn more.
- 15:02Speaker 1: You can just come in for the month and then
- 15:04Speaker 1: leave if you want to. This is a really important mom.
- 15:06Speaker 2: Absolutely, and if you had any questions, or you feel
- 15:08Speaker 2: like you're in a child has come out, or you
- 15:10Speaker 2: have had experiences where you've been fearful and haven't wanted
- 15:14Speaker 2: to show up, do something, go after a goal, or

- 15:18Speaker 2: as well. So if you don't have any questions, pop

- 15:25Speaker 2: in there. The girls are very, very active. Not only
- 15:27Speaker 2: will you get access to us, you'll also get access
- 15:29Speaker 2: to the community too, and the girls are just incredible inside.
- 15:32Speaker 1: One thing I think I want to leave this podcast
- 15:34Speaker 1: with is I saw I know who posted it was
- 15:36Speaker 1: some of my dooms girl. It's basically people in relationships,
- 15:40Speaker 1: if you are having an activated argument with your partner
- 15:42Speaker 1: and you feel like they're being unreasonable or they're not
- 15:44Speaker 1: knowing how to communicate, is to like have a photo
- 15:47Speaker 1: of them when they're a little child on the back
- 15:49Speaker 1: of your phone and like just take a moment to
- 15:51Speaker 1: look at that photo, because just know when you're dealing
- 15:53Speaker 1: with your husband or your wife. You're not just dealing
- 15:56Speaker 1: with them, You're also dealing with that little boy or
- 15:58Speaker 1: that little girl inside that is wanting to be seen
- 16:00Speaker 1: by you, wanting to be heard, maybe wanting to be right,
- 16:03Speaker 1: whatever it is that they're going through. Like, that's who
- 16:05Speaker 1: you're dealing with, because that's what's coming up a lot
- 16:07Speaker 1: of the time. I thought that was really helpful. I
- 16:09Speaker 1: haven't practiced it yet, but I should.
- 16:12Speaker 2: I'm going to print a little photo of you in
- 16:14Speaker 2: the back of all but not just you and me
- 16:15Speaker 2: side by side.
- 16:16Speaker 1: That's actually so cute.
- 16:17Speaker 2: That's really cue. We should do that.
- 16:19Speaker 1: It's very cool.
- 16:20Speaker 2: We actual you guys know how we go. I think
- 16:21Speaker 2: that's amazing.
- 16:22Speaker 1: It is really nice. So I hope you guys enjoyed this,
- 16:24Speaker 1: and we hope to see you inside. Rise inside.
- 16:26Speaker 2: We'll see soon.
- 16:27Speaker 1: Bye bye
