- 0:27[SPEAKER_02]: All right, welcome back to the Bill to your podcast and your host, Tim Lyons, joined in studio by Randy Aixen with a man.
- 0:34[SPEAKER_02]: Good day, my friend.
- 0:35[SPEAKER_02]: Good day.
- 0:37[SPEAKER_02]: Average is averages, averages, averages, average sucks in a lot of ways, but let's just discuss the fact that this whole world is designed.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_02]: for the average person.
- 0:50[SPEAKER_02]: The average person, I guess for a lot of reasons, one thing we homeschool, our doctor.
- 0:58[SPEAKER_02]: So homeschooling, but when you look at the public schools and what is available, it's for the masses, right?
- 1:06[SPEAKER_02]: And it has to be because how do you specialize each individual kids learning program?
- 1:13[SPEAKER_02]: and not to say anything's wrong with public school.
- 1:15[SPEAKER_02]: I went to public school, you went to public school.
- 1:18[SPEAKER_02]: My mom was this public school teacher, but the way it's designed, it's teaching you to be an employee, be it just to get a job, be average, do the thing.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_00]: Do the college career?
- 1:31[SPEAKER_02]: Yep, and it's real interesting.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_02]: And that's just kind of what you're brought up to believe, right?
- 1:36[SPEAKER_02]: And unless you have somebody around you,
- 1:39[SPEAKER_02]: that's quote unquote winning or getting ahead or define the average then you don't know any different unless you read or watch movies and you try to figure this out on your own and it's nobody's fault I don't believe especially the young youth coming up unless
- 1:59[SPEAKER_02]: You as a parent aren't teaching your kids, right?
- 2:03[SPEAKER_02]: I'm teaching my daughter what averages, what this world designed about.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_02]: I also talk a lot of conspiracy theories.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_02]: She loves it.
- 2:11[SPEAKER_02]: She loves it.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_02]: But I'm really teaching her to think outside of what she's being told.
- 2:17[SPEAKER_02]: In order for you to be not average, you have to break through the common, I guess, what you're being told, right?
- 2:26[SPEAKER_02]: you see this a lot when when somebody is getting ahead don't forget the little guys don't forget where you came from don't get too big for your bridges right don't you know
- 2:39[SPEAKER_02]: Don't work too hard or you should take a break or you are working too hard.
- 2:42[SPEAKER_02]: I heard this a lot growing up when I was working a ton.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_02]: And even when coming from my mom.
- 2:49[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, she's like, hey, you really are working hard out there.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, you know, take a break or you're going to get to Friday and you know, you can take a vacation.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, I don't need that, right?
- 2:59[SPEAKER_02]: That's not how I think, but the majority of the people think that way, right?
- 3:04[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 3:07[SPEAKER_02]: This kind of conversation is stemming from what we're seeing the averages in the industry are for revenue, right?
- 3:15[SPEAKER_02]: For the fitness industry.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_02]: Any report you're looking at these days, you're seeing kind of like the average revenue of a train jumped somewhere in the mid-twenties.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_02]: Whether it's twenty-two, twenty-seven, twenty-six, wait four, it's all right in the middle.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_02]: It's all under thirty.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I haven't seen any average report where the gym is making more than thirty thousand on average.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_02]: And so I start to think about it in like, okay, how could somebody have a gem put their life's work into?
- 3:48[SPEAKER_02]: going in every day, having a team, putting all that investment to open the gym, marketing, you don't turn it off when you go home.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_02]: You think about a twenty four seven.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_02]: You're thinking about it in your sleep.
- 4:00[SPEAKER_02]: You're always thinking about work.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_02]: But the payoff is a gym or a business that's generating somewhere around twenty five thousand dollars a month.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_02]: And what is that?
- 4:12[SPEAKER_02]: What trickles down to profit?
- 4:14[SPEAKER_02]: Like let's just say twenty percent, right?
- 4:16[SPEAKER_02]: Five grand a month is coming to to profit.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, is that worth it?
- 4:23[SPEAKER_02]: And I would probably argue most would say no.
- 4:25[SPEAKER_02]: Sure.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_02]: It's not worth it.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_02]: But they stay in the middle because that's the average, right?
- 4:31[SPEAKER_02]: Going against the grain.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_02]: And I noticed in this industry for sure, the think tanks are very siloed.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yep, echo chambers, right?
- 4:41[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so like yoga studios and bars do just kind of think this way and CrossFit thinks this way and personal training gyms think this way and big box thinks this way don't really share a lot or they're unwilling to look outside of the silo for information or out of the industry really and
- 5:01[SPEAKER_02]: I was talking to one of our iron shirkel members of the day.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_02]: She works with a ton of big box brands and stuff like that.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_02]: And they were telling her there's no innovation in the fitness industry whatsoever.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_02]: It's the same things that they've been doing for years and years and years because that's what the average person does.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_02]: And it just makes you wonder who's going to break through that?
- 5:21[SPEAKER_02]: Who's going to say enough enough?
- 5:23[SPEAKER_02]: Twenty-five isn't going to cut it for me and my family.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_02]: I need to do something different.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think you did a really good job.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, kind of in the beginning where you're talking about, like your daughter's influence and things like that, I always look at kind of your belief system.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_00]: You know, it is a big byproduct of the things that you take in the people that you surround yourself with.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_00]: You know, you kind of laid out that old crabs in a bucket mentality, right?
- 5:46[SPEAKER_00]: That one person goes and gets ahead.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_00]: You know, the crab start reaching out, pulling back, whether it be for their own gain or whether it be for the fact that, you know, you're the outlier, come back to the norm, you know, come back to where everybody else is at.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_00]: But that belief system is what you truly believe is possible is.
- 6:06[SPEAKER_00]: And so if you're surrounded by the average and the conversation every day is the average, you don't think that you could break thirty thousand.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_00]: You don't believe that it's possible to do sixty seventy eighty thousand dollars in monthly recurring revenue.
- 6:19[SPEAKER_00]: and until you change what your, I believe your influence, there you go, bye.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_00]: You're always going to find yourself somewhere in the average, right?
- 6:28[SPEAKER_00]: It even goes back to the whole, you're the average of the five people you spend your time with.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_00]: You know, look at your relationship, look at your wealth, look at your spirituality, all of these different things.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_00]: It's kind of weird when you actually sit back and you go, all right, who are my five people of influence?
- 6:42[SPEAKER_00]: And I would go one step further because I don't think it's just people anymore because of
- 6:46[SPEAKER_00]: How easy it is to be influenced through podcasts, through social media, through legacy media, all these different options, sure.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_00]: You know, they used to say,
- 6:58[SPEAKER_00]: Man, this is years ago, but like something like if you watched the news traditional legacy media if you watched the news it was an eight year difference on your lifespan You were traditionally lived eight years less.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god, if you were you know addicted to the negative because it was a negative yeah, right?
- 7:13[SPEAKER_00]: So if you look at that right like flip on the news or just just kind of audit your day
- 7:18[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I mean?
- 7:18[SPEAKER_00]: Are you getting up?
- 7:19[SPEAKER_00]: Are you listening to podcasts?
- 7:21[SPEAKER_00]: Are you reading books?
- 7:22[SPEAKER_00]: Are you showing up and doing things to intentionally defy the average?
- 7:27[SPEAKER_00]: Or are you just kind of, you know, getting out there, opening your email, getting to work, doing whatever it takes to get through the day, putting out fires, and also, and you find yourself right smack dab in the middle of the average.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, letting things happen to you.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_00]: Correct.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_00]: Take time.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and I'm really worried.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_02]: It's the people you hang out with, right?
- 7:50[SPEAKER_02]: So every time I look at my business is getting ahead.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_02]: It's because of the groups that were, right?
- 7:58[SPEAKER_02]: It's the master mind we join with Russell or Todd Brown or STS or whatever.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_02]: It serves you at that point in your time.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_02]: Either you grow out of it or you float away from it, but like when you get out of those groups, a lot of times you stagnate.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_02]: It's really interesting.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, why is this happening?
- 8:14[SPEAKER_02]: Because you're not around
- 8:15[SPEAKER_02]: The movers and the shakers and stuff like that and it's and it's like there's I've never been to New York But the three people that I talked to recently just been to New York They say there's a different aura or buzz in the city of New York where everybody's kind of operating a higher frequency and it makes you want to work harder and makes you
- 8:35[SPEAKER_02]: take it either bigger risk or you're right around the right people and the good things happen to those folks and they're starting to make they make a lot more money being around others that make a lot more money just totally makes sense right so it's a threshold that they believe is normal you know they that it that creates their new normal in a way
- 8:51[SPEAKER_00]: Right?
- 8:52[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, we think about it in movies, you know, when you look at whether it's made most major big cities, right?
- 8:57[SPEAKER_00]: LA, Chicago, New York, the hustle and bustle, right?
- 9:00[SPEAKER_00]: These people are, you know, if they're working, you know, if they're doing trades and things like that, or working Wall Street, right?
- 9:06[SPEAKER_00]: They're up, they're in the office before seven, and they're like, you know, having the cocktail at nine o'clock at night with the co-workers, still part of their work day, they go home, they sleep, they're right back to it the next day, but that level of work,
- 9:19[SPEAKER_00]: And the willingness to do that doesn't happen by just human nature.
- 9:22[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you know, you're going to find the easy button.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to find a way to to spend your weekend relaxing or taking the vacations or doing all of what everybody else deems as normal until you accept the fact that like normal's not for me.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_00]: I want like this.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_00]: I want this to be my normal.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_00]: It goes back to the Roger Bears.
- 9:41[SPEAKER_00]: You bear aster the thought, you know, five minute mile or minute mile back then, right?
- 9:45[SPEAKER_00]: So banister.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_00]: When we accept something new, and you change your belief systems, you change what you believe is actually possible, and when it happens,
- 9:59[SPEAKER_00]: That's the gateway.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, everything, it's like taking off the governor on your car.
- 10:04[SPEAKER_00]: It's insane how different you can operate when you accept a different norm.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that the problem is, especially in this industry, it's the echo chambers.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_00]: It's the, why do we do what we do?
- 10:16[SPEAKER_00]: It's because that's what we've always done.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_00]: There is a massive lack of innovation.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_00]: Because it's only going to happen from those that decide
- 10:24[SPEAKER_00]: to not accept what everybody else is doing.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_00]: There you go.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_02]: And it's not the, that's, that's like the fraction of a percent.
- 10:31[SPEAKER_02]: Exactly.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_02]: The fraction of a percent because again, everything in your life is told you to be average.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_02]: Don't rock the boat.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_02]: Like every term, like, what are those things called?
- 10:42[SPEAKER_02]: One line is every, I'll rock the boat.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_02]: You don't want to, but, you know, so Apple doesn't fall, fall from the tree, right?
- 10:50[SPEAKER_02]: Like everything,
- 10:52[SPEAKER_02]: in life, it seems to drive you to the middle.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_02]: And for good reason, because that's how they can control the mast or they can serve the mast, just as right?
- 11:03[SPEAKER_02]: You can only serve, again, going back to public school, the mast is if you're just generalized.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_00]: Well, if even if we look at that and relate it to the Catholic audience that we talk about all the time, right?
- 11:15[SPEAKER_00]: They're breaking it down, right?
- 11:16[SPEAKER_00]: Employee, self-employed, business owner, investor.
- 11:20[SPEAKER_00]: One, you know, investor, what percentage of the US is actually living or surviving off of the profits of the, they're, they're very, very small business owner, fraction of the population.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_00]: Self-employed, a little bit larger than business owner, but still fraction of the population.
- 11:38[SPEAKER_00]: Employee, probably eighty something percent of, I mean, I don't have those stats, but like, it's like, God's got to be over ninety percent.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, because the most people,
- 11:47[SPEAKER_00]: Most people aren't willing to take the risk to become someone or business owner.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_00]: Taking risk is the opposite of the norm.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_00]: And that's what all this comes back down to.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_00]: You have to believe that you're betting on yourself.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_00]: You have to be capable of, if I don't know the knowledge, I'm going to go do it.
- 12:05[SPEAKER_00]: If I can't figure something out, I'm going to source the person or the system that's going to help me do it.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_00]: All of those things are not normal.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_02]: Here's the ironic thing about that.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_02]: The Jim owners in the averages took that huge risk to open the Jim, okay?
- 12:22[SPEAKER_02]: So they broke through the norm and then they settled back into what the averages.
- 12:27[SPEAKER_02]: Now, there always has to be an average.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_02]: No matter any large group of numbers, there is always an average.
- 12:36[SPEAKER_02]: But if the average was like a hundred thousand dollars a month, I wouldn't be having this conversation.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_02]: Exactly.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_02]: It's twenty five thousand.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_02]: And that's like, that becomes the line where is it even worth it?
- 12:49[SPEAKER_02]: To me, like I've said this before, if this gym never got past thirty grand, I would have closed because it's not worth it.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_02]: Worth it to me is a financial result.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_02]: That's it.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_02]: Now, do I have good mojo and feelings about what we've created and helping people absolutely?
- 13:08[SPEAKER_02]: That's the start of it.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_02]: And I've always said two major things here.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_02]: We're not selling cigarettes, the kids on the corner.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_02]: What we do is good work.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_02]: And so like to be in that business of serving and helping human beings get healthier, live longer lives, you know, that's the business I want to be in, right?
- 13:28[SPEAKER_02]: I don't want to be in something just to sell things and make money.
- 13:32[SPEAKER_02]: That's the opposite of what I'd rather do.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_02]: In fact, there's been a lot of opportunities to go and
- 13:37[SPEAKER_02]: down a different road and I've said no to things because it doesn't align with morals who like the fact that we're helping people absolutely
- 13:45[SPEAKER_02]: But you got to financially get the reward for that.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_00]: That right there, right?
- 13:50[SPEAKER_00]: Those two concepts, the goodwill and the profit for the business.
- 13:54[SPEAKER_00]: Those are not mutually exclusive.
- 13:55[SPEAKER_00]: And for some reason, this industry feels like if I want to go help and serve people, I can't make money along the way.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_00]: And I would be the one to challenge that and say, hey, the more people that you can serve and the more money that you can make, it's cyclical.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_00]: If you're in where your intentions lie, where your morals lie, if you continue to serve the population, you need profit in order to do so.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_00]: It's your obligation to go make money so that if that is the desire to go put it back into the community and serve more people.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_00]: Why is that such a hard concept for so many to grasp?
- 14:28[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I don't know if it's the concepts hard for them to grasp or the what it takes to get further is the well, there's more risk involved and so and again, it's ironic because the risk the biggest risk was opening the business walking away from a job or doing whatever you were doing to start on this journey.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_02]: That was the biggest risk.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_02]: At least it was for the people I'm I am I'm aware of like that's that's huge.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_02]: You're kind of like saying I'm going down this path now, which is against the average big time.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 14:56[SPEAKER_02]: So you went down this path, but now you're unwilling to take additional risks to break through what what the average is.
- 15:06[SPEAKER_02]: Now by default again, there's always an average, but here's the even I guess it's a worse number.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_02]: our buddy Dan had posted the he's a founder of pushpress he just threw it out there and he said hey what is the what does it take on a gross monthly revenue number to be in the top ten percent it was twenty four thousand so his averages much less than mid-twenties is probably high teens maybe eighteen seventeen thousand is the average of that selection right and so but but then you look at the iron circle for example
- 15:41[SPEAKER_02]: The average of the iron circle gyms is going to be just under a hundred thousand, right?
- 15:48[SPEAKER_02]: It's going to be somewhere in like the seventies, right, seventy five, seventy six, I'm in there.
- 15:53[SPEAKER_02]: That's the average of what the iron circle gyms is.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_02]: Now, when you're in that group, there's always going to be so many lower and so many higher.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_02]: But it's interesting what happens in that group.
- 16:05[SPEAKER_02]: Very interesting is very telling and it's very case and point about the average of the five people hanging around with the most where you get in your information is the gyms that have been kind of down this path of maybe they were doing forty fifty thousand.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_02]: They explode into these new record breaking revenue numbers.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_02]: And it's one hundred percent because of who they're surrounding themselves.
- 16:30[SPEAKER_02]: And we hear it.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_00]: Like though I could say one of the biggest most common shared, you know, expressions of what changed was when I surrounded myself with these people, it made me think bigger.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_00]: It made me think that this was possible, right?
- 16:50[SPEAKER_00]: And that right there.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_00]: it's like it's the door we never presented itself they just people were just like oh well this is good you know until you saw everybody else doing something that seemed impossible it's like walking into the room everyone's running a four minute mile well now you damn well better be able to run a four minute mile you know it's possible you just rise up and you you exactly but it's it's almost forced when you put yourself in the right room it almost like rubs off or by product of just being there where
- 17:20[SPEAKER_00]: every little decision you're just like, well, I know that he made that stuff for me, but then you see everybody else doing something big like that and you're like, well, shit, if they can do it, so can I. Yeah.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_02]: And even if you don't get to exactly where they're at, you're much higher than where you were, which is very interesting.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_00]: Even by accident, right?
- 17:36[SPEAKER_02]: And the identity changes with these gym owners, and I'll have a great example.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_02]: Well, and on this, uh, had a great call with one of my own circle members since but she's been in the group for a couple years now.
- 17:45[SPEAKER_02]: and she's told me she goes somebody asked me what I did the other day and I told her I was a gym over and you know what it hit me she said you know six months ago if somebody would have asked me or twelve months ago I would have said I was a personal trainer
- 18:01[SPEAKER_02]: But I feel like I'm a gym owner now.
- 18:03[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like I've made it to the other side and I said, welcome to the club, right?
- 18:07[SPEAKER_02]: Because that's essentially what what it is.
- 18:10[SPEAKER_02]: It's your identity change.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_02]: It's what she believes she is and and and and she said, I just love it more, right?
- 18:17[SPEAKER_02]: It just gives me a new
- 18:18[SPEAKER_02]: identity.
- 18:19[SPEAKER_02]: I feel better about it.
- 18:20[SPEAKER_02]: The decisions I'm making all based on this new identity of being a Jim owner.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_02]: And I was like, that's awesome.
- 18:26[SPEAKER_02]: That's probably the best testimonial or best something somebody could say because her whole life is now in a different, I guess, lens.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_00]: You don't show what you think about your business and in the decisions that come across the board, the way you operate and the actions you take, all of that stuff changes.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_00]: because the belief system changed, because the belief system changed, because you put yourself around people that had a different belief system than where you were.
- 18:51[SPEAKER_00]: One of the longest running, again, one lineers or whatever health, you know, those things are called, all we've always said, growth or decay, there is no maintenance, right?
- 18:59[SPEAKER_00]: And unfortunately, if you're not forcing yourself to think bigger, if you're not listening to the things that are gonna help you think bigger, if you're not putting yourself in the mastermind of the coaching groups of the things where people are thinking bigger,
- 19:11[SPEAKER_00]: chances are you're just you're accepting average and you know there's probably some writing in the wall that you might not be getting ahead if you're not constantly looking for more revenue and again it's not just the number but the cost of doing business goes up every year your business isn't making more money than you were last year your lifestyle your home life your
- 19:31[SPEAKER_00]: You know, the things you put on your dinner table, your kids opportunities to travel, all of these things are going to be affected because you're not ascending past the increase in cost.
- 19:44[SPEAKER_00]: It's the obligation, right?
- 19:46[SPEAKER_00]: Every single day that you show up in your business, the goal should be to make more revenue, turn a profit, make this as
- 19:53[SPEAKER_00]: lean and leverages possible so that you win as a business owner as a gym owner in this industry.
- 19:59[SPEAKER_00]: It's huge, but it's intentional.
- 20:03[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it never stops.
- 20:05[SPEAKER_02]: It's, as soon as you stop you go backwards, like you said.
- 20:07[SPEAKER_02]: So it's like you're, you're always going through the current, the current.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_02]: So we're trying to push you back and you've got to power through
- 20:14[SPEAKER_02]: Was that like a head current?
- 20:15[SPEAKER_02]: Where does that called head winds and flying on flying?
- 20:19[SPEAKER_02]: But like, I don't know, you're going to get the current.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_02]: You're going upstream, right?
- 20:23[SPEAKER_02]: The salmon fight.
- 20:24[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, right.
- 20:25[SPEAKER_02]: And they jump up the upstream and they to whatever, you know, later age and stuff.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_02]: Like that's constantly what business is.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_02]: It's just like obstacle.
- 20:34[SPEAKER_02]: And like today this morning, I had probably fifteen obstacles in it.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_02]: It just hit me.
- 20:39[SPEAKER_02]: I was like, this is just really interesting.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_02]: Isn't it?
- 20:41[SPEAKER_02]: And you just have to look at it.
- 20:43[SPEAKER_02]: One of those, you know, the more you've been hit in the face in this business world, the easier it is to take a punch, right?
- 20:50[SPEAKER_02]: Just as you got scars, right?
- 20:52[SPEAKER_02]: It doesn't hurt as much.
- 20:53[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, you do have to step back and like, yeah, this is life testing me and brace it.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_02]: It is what it is.
- 20:59[SPEAKER_02]: And, you know,
- 21:01[SPEAKER_02]: You'll get through it again.
- 21:02[SPEAKER_00]: And the thing is, you know, most of business is putting out, not I always say putting a fires, but it's solving problems.
- 21:07[SPEAKER_00]: Solving problems.
- 21:08[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
- 21:09[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 21:09[SPEAKER_00]: So, and it comes back to, yes, is it difficult to go increase revenue of ten or twenty thousand dollars a month when you're doing twenty twenty four?
- 21:19[SPEAKER_00]: It seems that way, but you know, it's real hard not feeding your family, right?
- 21:23[SPEAKER_00]: So like that old choose your heart.
- 21:25[SPEAKER_00]: I would much rather put all of my time and energy and effort towards something that is going to serve and feel good and give you the ability to not struggle from a day to day situation or not, you know, be able to take time off and take the kids to whatever and
- 21:42[SPEAKER_00]: Like, it's going to be hard to regard this.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_00]: You made the decision when you became a business owner, but choose the hard it's going to pay off in the future, not just settle for the average of today's hard.
- 21:53[SPEAKER_02]: Yep, so hopefully that helps you guys kind of reevaluate your perspective and it really should light somebody up that doesn't want to be average and hopefully that's what this show did for you today because it's pretty awesome on the other side of average and then there's a new average to fit and you just keep going but like at the end of the day make this worth it to you and don't like resent your business because it's not getting ahead.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_02]: Do the work, choose your hard
- 22:18[SPEAKER_02]: Hopefully that helps you guys.
- 22:20[SPEAKER_02]: Hopefully we see a Nashville until next episode.
- 22:22[SPEAKER_02]: Keep changing lives.
- 22:22[SPEAKER_02]: See you on the next one.
