- 0:00Most people are still apologizing because they're not
- 0:02in alignment with their true authentic self.
- 0:04They're still not in alignment, so that's why they're still
- 0:08apologizing. Yeah.
- 0:10And that can be challenging because you could be 1 foot in
- 0:14and 1 foot out. And I'm going to tell you why I
- 0:18was not living unapologetically yet.
- 0:21I opened happy whole you the very first one in 2018.
- 0:26I did not leave my career till four years later.
- 0:30I was 1 foot in and 1 foot out. Always justifying what I was
- 0:35doing, where I was at, how it was showing up because I had
- 0:38this other career, Yeah. And then I also had this side
- 0:42thing going on and I could call it like, yeah, this is my side
- 0:45business and I, this is a freaking company.
- 0:47This was $1,000,000 company I was.
- 0:49This is not just a side hustle. I was treating it like, and it
- 0:54was my dream and I was treating it like, Oh yeah, I'm just doing
- 0:58this thing, this little thing. No, I was, the moment I became
- 1:04unapologetic, like is when I stepped into it and fully
- 1:06believed in myself and said I am going to do this thing and I'm
- 1:11stepping into it fully. And that didn't happen till I
- 1:13was 40. So I understand the scarcity.
- 1:17I understand the fear when you have a family and you have bills
- 1:21and you have all of these things going on and I'm going to walk
- 1:26from that. I spent 18 years of my life
- 1:29getting myself to a position of the title, of the money, of all
- 1:35of the things, and I'm going to walk from that.
- 1:38That's where society brainwashes us.
- 1:41Hello, welcome back to the Field Podcast.
- 1:44Today I'm your host, Melissa Crook.
- 1:46I'm here with a friend that I met through one of these
- 1:49collaborations that I'm so fortunate to do.
- 1:51It was through the power of just 1 * 2 event.
- 1:55It was the second one of these through Lulu Aegon, who's a
- 1:58woman that I met earlier in 2025.
- 2:01He was just doing really important work for women in the
- 2:04world. And she invited myself and my
- 2:07guest today, Doctor Anna Marie Frank, into this, in his journey
- 2:11with her, this conference that was virtual.
- 2:13And Anna Marie and I were both able to contribute to it.
- 2:17But also, Lulu provides a great platform where we all get to
- 2:20meet each other and connect with each other.
- 2:23And so as we were sharing our stories, we realized we only
- 2:26live 90 miles apart. Like, that would be wild because
- 2:29the women on this conversation are literally from all over the
- 2:32world. So I like DMDR.
- 2:34I'm like, Oh my gosh, I'm in Fresno.
- 2:38And so and I and after listening to her story, I'm like, oh, I
- 2:41knew I wanted to talk to her more.
- 2:42And so we did connect. We were to talk.
- 2:45I've been able to be a guest with her on her really powerful,
- 2:49important podcast, the Happy Whole View podcast.
- 2:52And now she gets to be with me. So I'm welcoming today my new
- 2:57friend, Doctor Anne Marie Frank, Anna Marie, how would you
- 3:01describe yourself? If you were to share your
- 3:04character traits with our audience, how would you describe
- 3:08yourself? Oh man, well describing myself.
- 3:15I did this exercise once with this gal and she had us actually
- 3:19describe ourselves. Like not in the way we would
- 3:23normally describe ourselves. And the way I described myself
- 3:26is I am sunshine and rainbows, bare feet on the grass, coffee
- 3:32in my hand, trying to get to the beach anytime I can.
- 3:37Joyful want to be outside type of gal.
- 3:43I love that that just gives me such a warm, sunshiny, kind of
- 3:48cozy feeling for you. And what and this really goes
- 3:53nicely into as we kick off this conversation today, we're going
- 3:56to Share your story through our talking points and how it is you
- 4:00became the doctor you are today, the unique offerings that you
- 4:05provide that I think 10 to 15 years ago, we were like, oh,
- 4:08that's so woo woo to now we're like, no, that's actually
- 4:11science that has been around for thousands of years.
- 4:15We're just finally connecting back to it.
- 4:17And I think there's this kind of revolution and you're one of the
- 4:20revolutionaries that he's offering these opportunities to
- 4:23people. But let's go into you've
- 4:26identified very clearly things that you value, things that feel
- 4:30your cup through how you've introduced yourself.
- 4:33So talk to me about yourself care.
- 4:36You have the kind of job where you're hearing a lot about other
- 4:40people's challenges all the time, which requires that
- 4:45there's an emotional energy that goes with that.
- 4:47And so you, you already said to me this morning, you've already
- 4:51been out on a hike this morning. You've already rejuvenated your
- 4:54soul before you got into the office today to set yourself for
- 4:59the day. So talk to me about this kind of
- 5:02like the revolution of that, the birth of that which you realized
- 5:06you needed to fill your soul. Yeah, I mean, getting here has
- 5:12been, it feels like many, many lifetimes.
- 5:15And the reason I do the work that I do now is because I had
- 5:22to heal my own brain going through challenges in my early
- 5:2520s and just rediscovering and deprogramming how to be and
- 5:33what's available in terms of holistic healing versus just the
- 5:37Western world of healing. And so, yeah, the self-care
- 5:43piece is I used to be kind of a control freak.
- 5:49Like I wanted to control my entire environment, everything
- 5:52with my kids, to my husband. And I'm actually actively
- 5:57recovering from that. And what I learned is, I mean,
- 6:00that's more of a PTSD response, if you will, if you want to put
- 6:04it into some type of terminology.
- 6:07But I mean, honestly, through my journey, I've had a lot of what
- 6:11I call emotional concussions. So.
- 6:15You look at, you know, I really focus on the brain, emotional
- 6:18brain health and nobody ever really teaches us that the
- 6:23psychological concussions or the psychological trauma that we go
- 6:28through how it really impacts our physical body.
- 6:32And I started to really connect the dots after, you know, my
- 6:37early 20s, my offerings when I was struggling with depression
- 6:41and just not wanting to be alive and just really at at a bottom
- 6:46point in my life. It was offered to me to go on
- 6:51SSRIs, medication, antidepressants, you know,
- 6:55Adderall from my ADHD and you know, these meds.
- 7:00And it never, it was like they wanted to address my brain
- 7:06telling me I have a brain chemical imbalance, but yet they
- 7:09never scanned my brain, never tested my brain.
- 7:13They just asked questions. And so then it was like I set
- 7:17forth on a journey to figure out, OK, God, you have like this
- 7:22amazing world right here. There's no way you haven't
- 7:25provided these opportunities or things to help us really remedy
- 7:32what's going on within us. And so then, yeah, I started to
- 7:36study herbology, energy medicine, Chinese medicine.
- 7:42I just went down all the rabbit holes of holistic health and
- 7:46slowly over a decade of my life, started to heal my brain and to
- 7:51heal myself. And out of that came a beautiful
- 7:55facility called Happy Whole You. And we've opened up a few of
- 7:58them throughout the country. And then during COVID, we
- 8:01actually sold, sold some of them to different doctors.
- 8:04And now it's the one in Bakersfield still open.
- 8:07But nevertheless, the whole journey and the whole process
- 8:11has gotten me to the point where now I work with people and our
- 8:14physical ailments are actually lessons of something
- 8:16psychologically and emotionally stored within us that's causing
- 8:20that physical pain or that discomfort.
- 8:22And now we get to learn how to decode it in a way that really
- 8:27never taught. But that going back to ancient
- 8:29wisdom. So I don't know if I answered
- 8:31your question. I kind of went all over the
- 8:32place there, but that's in, in a nutshell, kind of what got me to
- 8:37where I'm at right now. And it was just my own, my own
- 8:40journey. Yeah, I love that, that kind of
- 8:43that curiosity that I mean, and I think that that's what women
- 8:47have started to become like. I don't want a Band-Aid.
- 8:50I want to know what's happening here.
- 8:52This wasn't happening before. Why is it happening now?
- 8:55What is going on within my systems?
- 8:58And we're going to get to the mental, emotional, physical
- 9:00health connections in a minute because I this is exactly.
- 9:03What you do? Is you connect the dots on all
- 9:06of that. But before we do that, I want to
- 9:08get into learning about healthy boundaries in your life and the
- 9:12need for that, how to protect your time, your space,
- 9:17surrounding yourself with what fills you up, filling up your
- 9:22energy capsule, learning how to say no to the things that don't
- 9:25serve you. That's that's also part of this
- 9:28journey of connecting the dots with our mental, emotional.
- 9:31Physical. Spiritual Health.
- 9:34Yeah, I think, you know, it's not my job to make other people
- 9:39feel comfortable. And that has like taken me a hot
- 9:43minute to get to, you know, we, we naturally don't want to make
- 9:47other people feel uncomfortable. We want everyone to feel safe
- 9:50and secure and feel good. But we'll do it at the expense
- 9:54of our own safety, security and us being OK inside.
- 9:57And so, I mean, I have a perfect example.
- 10:00When I meet with people, I have 0 filter in terms of a
- 10:06one-on-one session. And I do try to be cognizant of
- 10:12can this person handle this right now?
- 10:18And literally just yesterday, I had a new hire.
- 10:21We were talking about this right before.
- 10:22And I do a 2 hour after they're trained and all that 2 hour
- 10:25intake of what I do with clients, just so they know,
- 10:28like, how does somebody even get started with me?
- 10:30Yeah. And there were things that came
- 10:33up and I had 0 filter, which, you know, I guess is your
- 10:36employer. I don't know.
- 10:36But yeah, she sent a letter this morning resigning.
- 10:41And she's resigning because of the awakening that she had from
- 10:46our session about through authentic self because she's a
- 10:50people pleaser. And she's realizing that there
- 10:55are some things that she wants to do, but she has been holding
- 10:58herself back from doing them because she thinks her life
- 11:02supposed to work a certain way. She thinks she's supposed to do
- 11:04XY and Z based on, you know, mom and society and all these
- 11:09things. And it's like, I just want to
- 11:11shake you and say, hey, these physical things you're feeling
- 11:14are completely your responsibility because you're
- 11:17thinking and speaking about your life in this way and just
- 11:20connecting the dots. Because usually we just want to
- 11:25and blame other people or not take that personal
- 11:28responsibility of where we're at.
- 11:30We're like, well, I feel this way, but it's because I'm
- 11:33getting older, it's because of this.
- 11:35And it's really because you're out of alignment with your true
- 11:37authentic self. So when it comes to like my own
- 11:42boundaries, I have had to actively get out of the wanting
- 11:49people to like me, people pleasing mode and I get to
- 11:54essentially show up as my true authentic self and, you know,
- 12:00help people where they're at. But I also it's not my job to
- 12:04constantly make people feel comfortable.
- 12:06I feel like it's, it's up to me. Like when I'm, when people pay
- 12:11me, I'll say this, when people pay me money, big money to
- 12:16really give them what I do, I can't hold back on that.
- 12:22You know, I get to to share it with them.
- 12:25So, so, yeah. So there's the whole boundary
- 12:29thing is, you know, I only allow certain people into my life.
- 12:35I choose the clients that I want to work with, especially like
- 12:39clients like that is a sacred space.
- 12:42And yeah, I'm no longer trying to please everyone.
- 12:46And, and no is a complete, complete sentence.
- 12:49And yeah. And it is something you, you
- 12:51actively work on because sometimes, like your mind tells
- 12:54you one thing, which is like society standards.
- 12:56And then your heart is, yeah, this doesn't feel like a yes,
- 13:00but my mind's saying, you know, I should do this.
- 13:03But like if your core, your heart, your true, like gut
- 13:07instinct is like this is a no and it's a no.
- 13:10We like try to like in our minds, make it turn into a yes
- 13:14when and then when we do that, the thing doesn't work out
- 13:17anyways. Exactly.
- 13:19And I, I could give so many examples of that in my life, but
- 13:23I think you said something really important.
- 13:25And I talk about this a lot too. Comfort is really the end to it.
- 13:30You can't, you can't be comfortable and heal.
- 13:32I'm just going to, I don't believe that you can and not in
- 13:36it that it's supposed to like, oh, I'm going to inflict
- 13:38physical pain on you. No, no, no, no, You've got be
- 13:40willing to get curious and get outside of this comfort zone
- 13:44that you've lived in because it, it has gotten you to being in
- 13:48Doctor Anna Marie's office today or working with me one-on-one in
- 13:52empowerment sessions. It hasn't served you.
- 13:54And so that also applies to us. And knowing that if you're going
- 14:00to work with me, there's an accountability that goes with
- 14:03it. I love what you said.
- 14:05Like I run into women all the time who like, I don't have any
- 14:08choices. Yeah, you do.
- 14:10People don't want to be held accountable by them.
- 14:12Yeah, they don't. They, You have choices, you have
- 14:16to be willing to make them and, and make a choice and, and, and
- 14:22then come to an understanding of will there be consequences?
- 14:26Yes. Does it require you to, if
- 14:29you're not abandoning yourself anymore and you're doing and
- 14:33taking accountability and making choices that are healthy for
- 14:35you, that's the first step that it requires sometimes, a lot of,
- 14:40most of the time, a lack of comfort.
- 14:42And it also requires us as we work with people, to be very
- 14:46clear. My PR branding friend really
- 14:50helped me with this. Drea.
- 14:52Intel was fantastic. She's like, we're going to put
- 14:54together what your, she calls it your champagne client.
- 14:58And it's going to help you define and understand who is
- 15:03really equipped to work with you because you're not for everyone.
- 15:07And that's OK. And that was so helpful because
- 15:12it helped me realize there are people that are going to come to
- 15:15me and I'm going to have to be like, I don't think you're ready
- 15:19for this. And if you know, so, so maybe
- 15:23try these things over here and they get in touch with me.
- 15:26But there are some things I'm going to ask of you that you're
- 15:30not going to be willing to say yes to.
- 15:32And if you can't say yes to those things that I can't help
- 15:36you, you know, so I think that. And so realizing that and I
- 15:41think for you as a healthcare practitioner, you've there's
- 15:44this undefined expectation that kind of comes with it that I'm
- 15:48supposed to make everybody healthy and comfortable.
- 15:50And it's like actually the way I'm going to work with you is
- 15:55going to be a little different than that.
- 15:57And you're going to thank me later.
- 15:59But you're going to have to be willing and releasing that idea
- 16:02that everybody's going to be for you and everybody's going to be
- 16:05the right match for you. Yeah, and I think too, it's like
- 16:09we get to pick our hard, you know, it's hard to have those
- 16:15deep conversations. It's hard to hear when we've
- 16:20been getting in our own way and it's actually us that needs to
- 16:24shape up or ship out or fix some things because you know it.
- 16:30And it's also hard to blame other people and feel like
- 16:32you're a victim and feel like you can't do anything about it.
- 16:34So you get to pick your heart. You know, and I always say we
- 16:39either pay now or we will pay later.
- 16:42I mean, there's certain things that I did in my early 20s that,
- 16:49you know, I am paying for now psychologically.
- 16:53There's also some really great things that I sacrificed and I I
- 16:57paid for in my early 20s that have given me so much abundance
- 17:01now and opportunity. But in with that, I'm not paying
- 17:08for that anymore because it's abundance and opportunity with
- 17:10the other stuff that I was I was doing.
- 17:13I'm paying for it now. So it's pay now, pay later.
- 17:17But either way, you're going to pay the piper.
- 17:18I mean, that's, that's what's going to end up happening.
- 17:21And so I believe there's no time like the president.
- 17:25The more the quicker people can wake up, like the quicker you
- 17:30can wake up like it just can grow exponentially.
- 17:36You have a whole lifetime ahead of you.
- 17:37I literally had a client here the other day who's 44 years old
- 17:41and she is just struggling to even like function, like does
- 17:46not want to function. And she is beautiful, gorgeous
- 17:50woman. She works from home and really
- 17:53it came down to she wants to be a nurse and she works from home
- 17:58and does medical billing and she is not happy.
- 18:01And I'm like, OK, what's preventing you from going to
- 18:04school to be a nurse and starting and taking one class?
- 18:07Just starting with one class. She's like, Oh well, I'm 44 and
- 18:12I said OK, excuse me? Like 44546474.
- 18:19I mean, you can work till you're 80 if you want to go 84, but if
- 18:22you work till you're 74, that's 30 years.
- 18:24You have 3 decades ahead of you and you've already decided those
- 18:313 decades. You don't.
- 18:32You don't get to step into what is calling in your heart.
- 18:35Yeah, that's. Why You won't feel good inside.
- 18:39You're working from home, doing something that doesn't bring you
- 18:42joy, and you have this burning desire.
- 18:46Your kids are grown. They're out of the house.
- 18:49I'm like, girl, you have every opportunity now.
- 18:52So I don't know where it came into play that if you don't do
- 18:56something when you're in your early 20s that for some reason
- 19:00you can't start when you're 4050, sixty years old.
- 19:03Like this is that is brainwashing.
- 19:06Like we have the opportunity to step into whoever we are and
- 19:10whatever our heart desires at any moment, at any time.
- 19:13And I share that also because I was the 40 year old in an 18
- 19:18year career feeling unhappy, unsatisfied.
- 19:21My body started to physically have symptoms of illness because
- 19:26I knew I needed to leave that position.
- 19:28And I held on. I stayed because of the six
- 19:31figure income, because of the health benefits, because of the
- 19:34retirement, because check every single box.
- 19:36People were telling me I was crazy if I would walk away from
- 19:39this amazing career. But internally I was literally
- 19:43dying inside. So on my 40th birthday, I wrote
- 19:46it like I, I didn't even resign. I said I'm retiring.
- 19:50That's The funny thing is I was 18 years in this career.
- 19:53I turn in a letter that says I'm I'm retiring.
- 19:56My birthday is October 11th. It was October 11th, 2022.
- 20:01I am retiring. And I send that to them and
- 20:03they're like, OK. And then they come back to me
- 20:06like, hey, by the way, you're too young to retire.
- 20:07We need you to put give us a letter of resignation.
- 20:10I said I will not. I can decide what I'm doing with
- 20:13my life and I'm retiring like this is me in retirement.
- 20:17And I retired into a new career and it's really wasn't even a
- 20:22new career still in the health and Wellness space, but it was,
- 20:25you know, going full time into my company.
- 20:28Happy whole you and you know my company grew over 100% in that
- 20:33first year of me just choosing to step out to provide space and
- 20:39energy for something new to come in because when we have 1 foot
- 20:42in and 1 foot out, we can't fully embrace what God has
- 20:47available to us. And that's why we have to jump
- 20:50in and we have to have faith and yes we can leverage where we're
- 20:53at and be strategic in it as well.
- 20:56But if fear is the only thing holding you back, like we have
- 21:00to check ourselves because we are meant to live in a full
- 21:03expression of who we are and how we help other people.
- 21:06Yeah. Oh, that's seated so well.
- 21:08And that's really goes into what we'll get to you in a bit about
- 21:12living in apologetically. That was a decision that you
- 21:15made that day. Before we do that, I want to go
- 21:18back to that mental, emotional, physical, spiritual health
- 21:22connection. You made that connection for
- 21:25yourself. You saw it was like, wait a
- 21:27minute, I've only not only made it in me, I can now help other
- 21:30people make that as well. I had my own connection with
- 21:32that. I had my own breakdown in the
- 21:35fall of 2019 where these physical manifestations were a
- 21:39direct connection to unresolved trauma and emotions that have
- 21:44been stuffed and living out of everyone else's expectations
- 21:47except for my own, All of that. So you and I have both had our
- 21:51own personal journeys in this that have led us to where we are
- 21:55today. I think it's so important too.
- 21:58I talk to people about this all the time.
- 22:00Emotions are not good or bad. They're clues.
- 22:04They're clues as to what's going on with that.
- 22:07So, so talk to me a little bit more about when you're working
- 22:10with people to help them see this connection, how do you,
- 22:14it's because we in Western medicine, we hear, we separate
- 22:18it all out. It's compartmentalized.
- 22:20And I said a few years ago, I'm like, in my perfect world, my
- 22:23therapist and my medical health practitioner would have a line
- 22:28to each other to talk about, you know, what's going on with
- 22:32Melissa so they can make the connections holistically
- 22:35together. Talk to me about that process
- 22:37you go through when you're meeting with someone to help
- 22:40them make that connection. Yeah.
- 22:43And honestly, it's getting them to feel that connection.
- 22:46I think we'll we'll act when we feel.
- 22:52The other thing is our body will always follow what our brain
- 22:57tells it. So when we start to shift the
- 22:59narrative in our mind, it biochemically proven in science
- 23:04shifts how cells are responding. You can shift a thought alone,
- 23:10or you can shift your cells with a thought alone in 150 to 300
- 23:14milliseconds. So this is called epigenetics.
- 23:17This also goes back to Doctor Emoto's work of water has
- 23:20consciousness because water can cellularly restructure based on
- 23:25the thoughts and the emotions you're sending the water.
- 23:28And if your body is 70% more or water, what do you think your
- 23:32thoughts and your words are doing to your physical body
- 23:34every day? Sure.
- 23:35So getting the getting my clients to a space where they
- 23:39can feel inexperience, what I'm talking about from a healing
- 23:45lens is super powerful because they're already feeling it from
- 23:49a dis ease lens, from a pain lens.
- 23:52And so if we can flip that and they start to realize, Oh my
- 23:56gosh, I have more control over my biology than I ever was
- 23:59taught. Like this is crazy.
- 24:01Like they're realizing, like in time, I can start to heal my
- 24:04body through shifting my thoughts, through shifting my
- 24:06words. And yes, we throw some
- 24:08nutraceuticals at it. We do some visualization work.
- 24:12We do, you know, we have cryotherapy saunas.
- 24:15We have all of the high tech stuff.
- 24:16But at the end of the day, the medicine is within us.
- 24:21Our is the strongest pharmacy on planet earth.
- 24:24You're choosing what you're dispensing through every thought
- 24:27and every word and every conversation that you're having.
- 24:31And so the moment people realize like you hold within you this
- 24:37right of healing and like reprogramming, like that's when
- 24:43you can step into your power. And that's what I love to help
- 24:45people discover because I didn't, I didn't have that.
- 24:50I mean, yeah, I actively trial and error and all the things.
- 24:57But what I do now is we can collapse time and you can begin
- 25:00healing immediately, immediately.
- 25:04And that is just so powerful. And that's what I really like to
- 25:10get clients to step into. And it's really amazing to
- 25:14watch. I mean, give me anyone that has
- 25:16anxiety every day or they feel anxious like throughout the
- 25:19whole day or maybe it's more in the morning, more at night.
- 25:21You give me 7 days of them doing like a handful of things.
- 25:26I have a handful of things. Let's see who did one 2-3.
- 25:30If you did three things every day for seven days, I guarantee
- 25:33you your anxiousness will reduce 50 to 100%.
- 25:38Wow. Like there's so many simple
- 25:39things that we can do and it's like we feel like it's, it's not
- 25:45within us and it really, really is.
- 25:47Yeah, I think I love that so much.
- 25:49I talk to women about this all the time.
- 25:51You have it all within you. We just got to help you tap into
- 25:55that. This is another example of that
- 25:57and how empowering that is when we're able to rewire connections
- 26:03and unlearn and relearn healthy relationships with our emotions
- 26:08and what they mean and how they work on our bodies and how they
- 26:11impact our physical well-being and how all these systems are
- 26:15constantly in contact with each other.
- 26:18They are not stand alone. You're able to bring that all
- 26:21together for them going into living unapologetically.
- 26:25You made that decision for yourself at age 40 to make that
- 26:30change. You did it unapologetically.
- 26:33You didn't allow them to talk you out of what you were doing.
- 26:36And you put a new twist. And I think it's happening more
- 26:39and more, this idea of like, we can retire and reinvent
- 26:44ourselves. We can retire.
- 26:47We can go into these new seasons, we can meet ourselves
- 26:50where we are today and show up and align authentically with
- 26:55that. You have done that.
- 26:57And to me, your practice is an outpouring of, of how you show
- 27:02up unapologetically in the world.
- 27:04And, and you don't. And I tell women all the time,
- 27:07quit apologizing for showing up and, and taking up space and
- 27:11making decisions for you that are healthy and well for you.
- 27:16But then you've also taken that ability that you know is within
- 27:20you and now you're sharing it with other people to help them
- 27:24show up unapologetically. And when you select everything,
- 27:29you know, feats, what, 3-4 years ago now.
- 27:31Did you go into this space was happy whole you already in your
- 27:35head and it was just a matter of putting it down and getting it
- 27:38started? Or was it there were a
- 27:40reflection time where you were like, wait a minute, I've done
- 27:44this for me, It's time to help other people.
- 27:46With this as well, yeah. So two things I want to say, 1,
- 27:52most people are still apologizing because they're not
- 27:55in alignment with their true authentic self.
- 27:57They're still not in alignment. So that's why they're still
- 28:00apologizing. Yeah.
- 28:03And that can be challenging because you could be 1 foot in
- 28:07and 1 foot out. And I'm going to tell you why I
- 28:10was not living unapologetically yet.
- 28:13I opened happy hole you the very first one in 2018.
- 28:18I did not leave my career till four years later.
- 28:22OK, I was 1 foot in and 1 foot out.
- 28:25Always justifying what I was doing, where I was at, how it
- 28:29was showing up because I had this other career, Yeah.
- 28:33And then I also had this side thing going on and I could call
- 28:36it like, yeah, this is my side business and I, this is a
- 28:39freaking company. This was $1,000,000 company I
- 28:42was. This is not just a side hustle.
- 28:44I was treating it like, and it was my dream and I was treating
- 28:49it like, Oh yeah, I'm just doing this thing, this little thing.
- 28:52No, I was, the moment I became unapologetic is when I stepped
- 28:58into it and fully believed in myself and said I am going to do
- 29:01this thing and I'm stepping into it fully.
- 29:05And that didn't happen till I was 40.
- 29:07So I understand the scarcity. I understand the fear when you
- 29:12have a family and you have bills and you have all of these things
- 29:16going on and I'm going to walk from that.
- 29:19I spent 18 years of my life getting myself to a position of
- 29:25the title, of the money, of all of the things, and I'm going to
- 29:28walk from that. That's where society brainwashes
- 29:33us. Yes.
- 29:35And that is a scary place to be. The I think the most scariest
- 29:39place to live is when we're doing something because we're
- 29:42good at it and we do get some joy from it, but it is not like
- 29:47vibrant and exactly where we want to be because that is a
- 29:51dangerous place to me. Because honestly, I probably, if
- 29:54I didn't wake up, I'd probably still be there today.
- 29:59I'd be making good money. I'd have health insurance for
- 30:02the family. I would have all the dot dot,
- 30:04dot, dot, dot and people would look at me and think, wow, she's
- 30:07successful. She's got, you know, like I
- 30:10could have very easily stayed and played into that, but my
- 30:13body. Was.
- 30:15Telling me you have to go, I had to go.
- 30:19Most people in my situation would say, well, now you really
- 30:22can't go because you need that health insurance because you
- 30:25have all these things going on with your body, so you have to
- 30:29stay. And what's crazy is when I left
- 30:32those symptoms, those ailments, my blood work got much better.
- 30:36And so it's, it's wild because I until I experienced it myself,
- 30:42like I don't even like it's I, there's like 0 words like God is
- 30:49living through us and is trying to guide us.
- 30:52And he had so many opportunities for me, but I was so brainwashed
- 30:58that I wasn't awake. And we see where God is showing
- 31:04up. You don't miss all those God
- 31:05winks that are happening like he is there.
- 31:08Like this is your, this is your divine destiny.
- 31:12Like wake up. And so, so, yeah.
- 31:14So I do think that for us to live unapologetically, we have
- 31:20to be all in. And if you're still apologizing,
- 31:24you're not all in. Yeah, I love that and that
- 31:28disassociation piece because we get this script, go to college,
- 31:33get the degree, buy the car, find the partner, have the kids,
- 31:36get the house, live in the beautiful neighborhood, have
- 31:39take the vacations, all these things.
- 31:40And that will make your life wonderful.
- 31:42And no one ever stops to ask you.
- 31:45And you don't stop to ask yourself, how does that feel for
- 31:48me? Is that what I even want?
- 31:50Exactly. Is that what I even want?
- 31:52Is that in alignment? And then we start wondering
- 31:5551015 years into it, why we're feeling angsty all the time and
- 31:59why we're irritated and why we've got the Sunday scary's and
- 32:03all these things that we hear about that we just decide, oh,
- 32:07it's just part of life. This is just what I have to do
- 32:10and tell ourself all these to keep ourselves on this track of
- 32:13what we've been told. And I relate to that so
- 32:16wholeheartedly. I mean, I started the podcast in
- 32:20the summer of 2021. I lost my job unexpectedly in
- 32:25the summer of 2022. And it was only then that I was
- 32:29like, oh, that really wasn't working for me.
- 32:33And the mid like the first week out of that environment,
- 32:37everything settled. My blood pressure went down, the
- 32:40anxiety attacks minimized, I mean, all these things.
- 32:43And I was in the process of learning this.
- 32:45I was already talking to other women of the impacts of this and
- 32:48I'm still living within it myself.
- 32:51And it wasn't until this thing forced me.
- 32:55And it's like, wait a minute, there's a there I am missing.
- 33:00And it's kind of like, I share this analogy quite a bit and
- 33:03we've all heard it. I think you're out at sea and
- 33:06you're lost at sea. And you're like, God, where are
- 33:08you? Help me.
- 33:09And he sent the helicopter and he sent the ship and he's sent
- 33:12all these things. And you keep saying I'm waiting
- 33:14for it. And he's like, I'm right.
- 33:16I'm like. You're you're waiting for
- 33:18another boat or something like you think it looks a certain way
- 33:20in your head and it's not because you miss all other
- 33:23things. You miss all the other things
- 33:25and your body is screaming at you.
- 33:27And I want to go back to two. Our bodies are not against us.
- 33:32We were. They were beautifully designed.
- 33:33They are for us. And she they're screaming at us
- 33:37for attention. Pay attention.
- 33:40I'm trying to tell you something.
- 33:41Things. Something's not working here.
- 33:44And I think that until we can really like.
- 33:48Oh, the script, the script hasn't been serving me.
- 33:51Yeah. And like, even like the high
- 33:54blood pressure you were talking about, high blood pressure is
- 33:57linked to unresolved emotional issues.
- 33:59Yeah, right. And high cholesterol.
- 34:02So we usually see a high cholesterol, high blood
- 34:04pressure, high cholesterol as your channels of joy are just
- 34:07closing, you know, and the body is always talking to us and
- 34:12giving us clue. We just we just use a diagnosis
- 34:15to say, well, it's this thing we don't look at it as from an
- 34:18emotional standpoint. I also want to point out, like
- 34:21the universe, God, whatever you want to call it, if you are
- 34:26supposed to be in a different direction and you've had those
- 34:30inklings in you, but you keep ignoring them and keep ignoring
- 34:32them and keep ignoring them. Not only will your body speak to
- 34:36you, but also you can like he'll come in and take you out or put
- 34:41you on another track. Like you completely lost your
- 34:44job and you probably shouldn't have been there as long as you
- 34:46were anyways, but you didn't listen, right?
- 34:48Exactly the same thing literally is happening to my sister in
- 34:52real time. She's worked, she's a counselor
- 34:55and she's worked for a school district for I don't even know
- 34:57how many years she could have retired last year.
- 35:01She started her own private practice counseling people and
- 35:04is doing really well with that. But she's kept, she keeps
- 35:07holding on to her job that she's been at for how many years even
- 35:12though she can retire? And I, I was like, girl, I'm
- 35:16like, what are you doing here? Like you're like, you're
- 35:19literally paying them to keep showing up, you know?
- 35:21And, and I wouldn't say that if she was in pure bliss and joy
- 35:25and wasn't stressed and like having all these things going
- 35:27on. And anyway, she'd call me.
- 35:29She's like, yeah, so I haven't even had my office.
- 35:33And I let my administration know like she had an there wasn't an
- 35:38all these rats like an in the fusion.
- 35:41I was going to say an infection like all of these rats.
- 35:45That were in her office. In this school and she like sent
- 35:50the messages to maintenance operations, whatever they do,
- 35:54and they still haven't remedied it.
- 35:56So then she's like been in this classroom and I'm like, girl, if
- 35:59that's not the universe telling you to get out of here, you have
- 36:02like rat feces and stuff all over your head that is dead,
- 36:07that is dead there. You have to leave.
- 36:10So you have new life coming in. And we were just laughing
- 36:14because I'm like, girl, I mean, I don't know why you keep
- 36:17staying, Like, why, you know? But it's her identity.
- 36:21And you know, and. It's that scary place to be just
- 36:23because we're good at it and we do get some joy and we are
- 36:26making a difference. We feel we have to stay.
- 36:30Yeah. And it's like, Oh my gosh.
- 36:33Like it's I've just seen it too many times and have so many
- 36:36stories of like clients and just even my own, like I'm just like,
- 36:41but I know when you're in it, it feels so paralyzing to even make
- 36:44that decision to go like I understand that fear and like
- 36:48we're like, there was a point where it's like I felt like my
- 36:51physical body couldn't even make a decision.
- 36:54I was so like the when you people say they get paralyzed in
- 36:58fear, like I have experienced that.
- 37:00Yep. Until I did a lot of work, until
- 37:04I did some things, I started to really imagine my life and what
- 37:06it is I wanted. And that's the cool thing about
- 37:09our brain. If your brain can start
- 37:12envisioning from a lens of opportunity and abundance, if
- 37:16you envision it, your body doesn't know if it's really
- 37:19happening or not. So if we can rewrite the
- 37:23narrative and take the fear out of it, I started to rewrite the
- 37:27narrative and to visualize in my brain what I was feeling like,
- 37:30what it could look like, and I was physically allowing myself
- 37:33to feel the joy versus feel the fear.
- 37:37It literally helped collapse time and stepping into it so
- 37:40much faster. So that's another like hack that
- 37:43we can do because our brain is very powerful and whatever we're
- 37:46thinking is putting it in the quantum field.
- 37:49And it's a, it's literally an energetic signal.
- 37:51It's, it's a antenna and you will vibrate back at you.
- 37:56Everything will reflect back to you, the very thing that you're
- 37:58putting out. And it's amazing how how just
- 38:03we're just great. I mean, like our body and our
- 38:06minds, like it's so powerful, the infinite power within it.
- 38:10And and I just, it blows my mind that people don't realize it.
- 38:15Yeah, you're just not tapping into it.
- 38:17Yeah, because of these scripts. Again, I'm packing.
- 38:20I'm so glad you brought up. And this goes nicely into your
- 38:22values and your why? Because I tell people, you know,
- 38:25I give them exercises to help them identify these things
- 38:28because I'm like, this is going to help you get in alignment
- 38:31with who you are. So I'll start with these simple
- 38:33questions and I'm like, they'll be like, I'm like, I promise
- 38:36this is going somewhere. But when you when you're
- 38:39connected with your values and why, it keeps you out of that
- 38:42because I talk to college students about this all the
- 38:44time. Why are you know, I, I was on
- 38:47campus at Fresno State yesterday.
- 38:48We had a level up event. I'm asking why are you majoring
- 38:51in this? What is in this about this
- 38:54attracts you? What is it that calls to you?
- 38:56What fills you're caught and, and just checking in with them
- 39:00to make sure they're in alignment with before they go
- 39:04out into the world. Because like everybody, they're
- 39:07getting narratives from their home life, from their culture,
- 39:09from their upbringing, from society, so many things.
- 39:14Talk to me about how your why and your values have helped you
- 39:18really stay in alignment with that.
- 39:22Well, I mean, I think it's just a knowing.
- 39:27I mean, why I do what I do now is because of what I have been
- 39:30through. But then when I get quiet and
- 39:31meditate, it's just a knowing and a remembrance of who I am
- 39:36and the infinite power that we all hold.
- 39:39And it's, and it's, it's a, it's a power of, of paying it
- 39:47forward. It's a power of helping all of
- 39:49us remember, like, if everybody remembered, like why they're
- 39:55here, Why are we sent to earth? Why does God say, Hey, I'm going
- 39:58to send you down here. You're going to have like this
- 40:01amazing experience. We're going to feel all the
- 40:03polarities, the hot, the cold, the love, the hate, the UPS, the
- 40:08downs, the ocean, the, you know, the mountains.
- 40:11You're going to experience all this.
- 40:12You're going to see. You see rainbows, you're going
- 40:14to see thunderstorms. And we're like, God, I don't
- 40:17even know what all that means, but OK, like, I trust you, I
- 40:20love you. And he's like, you're going to
- 40:21go down there and you're going to just like, it's it's amazing.
- 40:24You're going to have all these experiences.
- 40:26Well, then we get down here and we decide, oh, thunderstorms are
- 40:29bad. Oh, this is what we should be
- 40:33doing, not this. And really we're meant to be
- 40:36here and embrace all of it. Like you said, all the layers
- 40:40like embrace all of it. But what happens is we start
- 40:44giving it an emotion and we start giving it a meaning.
- 40:47And the moment we do that, we forget that we came from
- 40:51infinite source, that we came from this abundance of this love
- 40:56and purity. Because it's like, I think it
- 40:59was a Michael Singer, and I love his work, but it was like, the
- 41:05whole thing is being OK inside, no matter what's going on around
- 41:11you. Yeah.
- 41:12Having that inner peace, that baseline of all is well, because
- 41:19it is OK. We're just having this
- 41:21experience. And then we go back to source,
- 41:24then we go back to God when we're done with it and we go
- 41:27with the lessons. Yeah.
- 41:29So I think you know the why is because I forgot.
- 41:36Yeah. I, I was when I was a young
- 41:38girl, I'm writing about this in my, my new book.
- 41:41But when I was a little girl, I experienced energy.
- 41:44I could see energy. I could like everything alive to
- 41:47me. And then I got made fun of.
- 41:48I was weird. And so I shut that down.
- 41:50I forgot that we come from infinite source.
- 41:54I started to live in society's expectations.
- 41:57And it worked until I started waking up again and into my 40s
- 42:02that all those gifts started coming back to me.
- 42:06Yeah. And so the reason I do what I do
- 42:09now is because all of us are born with those gifts.
- 42:12All of us are born through love and compassion and light.
- 42:17And yes, these horrific things can happen and they do not feel
- 42:22good. Yeah.
- 42:23How we choose to respond or react, the lessons we extract
- 42:27versus saying a victim in them, that's everything.
- 42:30That's being human, yes. So.
- 42:34So forgetting where I came from, forgetting where we all come
- 42:38from, I think is scary. And the fact that I feel like
- 42:44I'm waking up, I'm doing the work that I'm doing now because
- 42:48it's for the highest good of all.
- 42:51And there's an infinite force that lives within me that I want
- 42:54to reflect back out in the world.
- 42:56Just to remind everyone, you could like, we all have this.
- 42:58We're all this love and amazing light.
- 43:03And so that would be the the why I do what I do.
- 43:06And I don't think people have to struggle as much as they're
- 43:08struggling. So the sooner we can wake up,
- 43:11sooner we get on the the gods work that we're here to do.
- 43:15Yeah, as our healthiest, most authentic selves that we were
- 43:18designed to be. Absolutely.
- 43:20You really laid out well already within that that description,
- 43:24living out of your own expectations versus others.
- 43:27You've made that shift. You recognize how it was what
- 43:31was being crippled within you and, and, and, and we're able to
- 43:35embrace the possibility of what was actually in you and go into
- 43:41that. Talk to me about what it was
- 43:44like to because it's one thing when we shift and we start
- 43:47living out of our own expectations versus others.
- 43:51There's a lot of voices around us that are like, what are you
- 43:55doing? And there's a communication that
- 43:58goes with that. And I've learned, you know, I
- 44:01was the over explaining champion of the world for years.
- 44:04And a few years ago my daughters were like, stop, you don't stop
- 44:08saying so many words. You don't, you don't need to do
- 44:12that. And so realizing that when you
- 44:14do make these shifts, there is some communication involved so
- 44:18that people understand how you're showing up in the world
- 44:20now. And also you don't have to over
- 44:23explain it. So talk to me about your
- 44:24experience. With that, well, I mean, I felt
- 44:30like a while ago, I felt like I had to explain everything to the
- 44:33T and convince people. Yeah.
- 44:37And I started to realize it's not my job to convince anyone of
- 44:41anything, that's for sure. I get to show up and be what I
- 44:48am, and through that is going to be whether people, you know,
- 44:54want to work with me or or whatnot.
- 44:58So I think it's a state of. It's a state of being, yeah.
- 45:07Yeah, when we release, release that sense of responsibility
- 45:10that so many of us women carry like, no, no, no, no.
- 45:13You're responsible for you. You're responsible for you.
- 45:17And within that comes accountability to to help you
- 45:21tap into all that you're capable of and all that's within you to
- 45:24live as your healthiest, most authentic self.
- 45:26And sometimes making the hard choices that maybe they feel
- 45:29hard at the time, but as you move forward and look back,
- 45:32you're like, oh. Yeah, that was absolutely.
- 45:34The thing that I had to do in the moment, and it is me now and
- 45:37I can see the results of that. This is also you have been able
- 45:42to what I call embrace your layers.
- 45:44You spoke to it a little bit ago, embracing all those pieces
- 45:48and parts of your story that make up who you are.
- 45:53Did you have a moment? I know we talked about that
- 45:56decision you made when you were 40 where you realize I got to
- 45:58take. All of this about.
- 46:00My life and my decisions and my choices and what's happened to
- 46:03me and I've got to get OK with it.
- 46:05I've got to. I don't have to love everything,
- 46:07but I need to. There needs to be an
- 46:08acknowledgement and an acceptance is that.
- 46:12Can you talk to me a little bit about what that was like for
- 46:14you? Yeah.
- 46:16I mean, there's so many moments like that and what I do with
- 46:22what I do with clients, and I did it for myself, which made
- 46:26all the difference in the world is I do this visualization or
- 46:31even you could just work through it.
- 46:34But where we envision our past, in those moments in our past
- 46:38that most of us would want to crawl under a rock and not admit
- 46:41that we even did or we were a part of, that we have shame
- 46:44around, regret around, or it was very scary, you know, something
- 46:52that happened to us that we didn't have full control over
- 46:55and it happened to us. So I drop in, I dropped into all
- 47:00of those moments. And when I drop into all those
- 47:04moments and I meet my younger self, I go in and I try to
- 47:09extract the value games like, what was it about me being made
- 47:17fun of that has become a superpower of mine?
- 47:22What is it about me that had neglect and being left out?
- 47:31How has that given me a superpower?
- 47:34How has been sexually assaulted in my past?
- 47:38How has that given me a superpower?
- 47:42So if we can drop into all of those moments, yeah, and leave
- 47:48the shame, the regret, the hate, the jealousy, leave all of that
- 47:55in the past because we can't change it.
- 47:58No. And take with us those
- 48:01superpowers of the lesson learned.
- 48:03It literally helps us re envision the past through the
- 48:07lens of power and opportunity. And really grateful because I'm
- 48:13the woman I am today because of those experiences, which helps
- 48:16us re envision a future. Because if we bring all those
- 48:19negative emotions with us in our current moment, then the future
- 48:22we're envisioning is through the lens of those things.
- 48:25Yeah, and you say victim stance? Correct.
- 48:29Yeah. And yeah.
- 48:30And we were victims. I mean, so many of us, 1000% in
- 48:34our lives, but we don't get to re victimize ourselves.
- 48:37We don't get to be doing the victimizing now because the
- 48:40moment that that moment ended, which is probably less than, you
- 48:45know, 5% of your life, you are the one that keeps re
- 48:50victimizing yourself. Yeah, we are the ones that keep
- 48:53re victimizing ourselves. So it's like freaking hey and
- 48:56that and we want, we don't want to have to fix it because we
- 49:00didn't do it, you know? Right, right.
- 49:02It was somebody did this to us it.
- 49:04Wasn't my fault like this is bullshit that I have to be the
- 49:08one to do it. But you know what?
- 49:10It's not because the moment you step into that to start to
- 49:14rewrite your past and to start to work through it and leave it
- 49:19and move beyond it, that's where those superpowers come in.
- 49:22Yeah. And that's where you catapult
- 49:24forward. Yeah.
- 49:26So let's stop allowing those past to control everything in
- 49:31our current moment and to control our future.
- 49:33And that is something I actively work on all the time.
- 49:37I mean, you know, it's like somebody like family member, one
- 49:42family member that, you know, we don't always see eye to eye.
- 49:45And it's like getting to the point where no matter what this
- 49:47family member says to me or what comments they make, I'm just
- 49:50like, oh, isn't that interesting?
- 49:53I love you like and just not having a visceral reaction of
- 49:57like such BS like why does he always have to do that?
- 50:00You know what I mean? And I actively am working on
- 50:02that right? Like we all get to work on this
- 50:05and let it be a journey and let it be pleasurable to work on it
- 50:08versus like, Oh my gosh, you know, because the work needs to
- 50:12be done, whether it's in this lifetime or another lifetime, I
- 50:15believe. We have multiple lifetime.
- 50:16Yeah, yeah. So, you know, let's get to work.
- 50:19Yeah, Well, I thought that you dressed the the nuance of this
- 50:23is that the nuance of I can grieve that, but I can also
- 50:26celebrate who I am from it. And I can acknowledge what I
- 50:30what the strength is has come out of me.
- 50:32The resilience, the learning, the curiosity, the kindness I
- 50:37can extend to myself, the no longer blaming myself for that
- 50:41being in that situation when sometimes shit just happens.
- 50:44And we have to learn what we get to decide what to do with it.
- 50:47We get to choose how we're going to move forward from that and
- 50:52not let it continue to have power over us and and tap within
- 50:57our resources that are already available waiting to be called
- 51:00on. We just have to give them the
- 51:03room and the love and the empathy and opportunity and
- 51:05acknowledgement to come out and service and help us to be who we
- 51:10were designed to be. Thank you so much for that.
- 51:12That was so good in living out, feel, finding empowerment,
- 51:17embracing layers, which is what you are doing.
- 51:20Talk to me about how that has impacted your relationship with
- 51:23yourself as well as your relationship with other people.
- 51:28Like the feelings that I have. Yeah.
- 51:31And just being just the empowerment that you live in
- 51:34like that, that that going back to that, your ability to embrace
- 51:38your layers and see yourself the way you do and how that impacts
- 51:42the relationships that you're in.
- 51:45Yeah, I mean, it's, it's so powerful and it's fun.
- 51:50It's fun because when you fully step into it of who you are you,
- 51:58you do get to live unapologetically and the outside
- 52:01world isn't controlling you anymore.
- 52:04And it's not going to the outside world isn't going to
- 52:07dictate whether I have a good day or not.
- 52:09Like. That power always comes back to
- 52:11me and my choices. Yeah, there can be moments that
- 52:15are like, but it's like that doesn't have to ruin my whole
- 52:18day. I mean, some people will let you
- 52:20know one thing happened, it happened one minute in their
- 52:24day, and they're allowing it to ruin the rest of their day or
- 52:26the whole rest of their week or the rest of their month.
- 52:29Yeah, right. So I think it's just like
- 52:35stepping into that and embodying that energy, that frequency of
- 52:42who we really are. And when we step into that, you
- 52:46know, other people that step into that frequency of who they
- 52:50truly are, like, those are the people that literally I'm
- 52:55attracted to, and they're attracted to me.
- 52:58And we become friends. And some people that are like,
- 53:02what does this even freaking mean?
- 53:05Yeah. Like, if they're like, what does
- 53:06this mean? But I'm actually interested in
- 53:08this. Like, what?
- 53:10I need this, but I don't even know what the heck you're
- 53:12talking about. Those are the clients that I
- 53:14usually end up getting. Yeah.
- 53:16And then the ones that are like, you're talking crazy, you're
- 53:19weird. I don't know.
- 53:21Those are people that my paths are not gonna cross with.
- 53:24Right. Actually, I have a lot.
- 53:26Like not a lot, but I'll have people saying, well, I'm a
- 53:28Christian because I talk about energy and I talk about, you
- 53:32know, and I always laugh because I'm Christian too.
- 53:35And I'm like, I don't like, if you're Christian, then you for
- 53:38sure believe in energy because you believe in prayer.
- 53:40You literally believe in thinking or speaking something
- 53:43and having it go to a higher power.
- 53:44If that's not energy exchange, I don't know what is.
- 53:47And then that goes to that person and helps them heal.
- 53:50Like heck yeah. Like if you believe in God, in
- 53:53the divine and all of that, like, what do you mean?
- 53:56Like, so it's just, it's interesting.
- 53:58But again, I mean, there's a different between, you know,
- 54:01spirituality and religion. Exactly.
- 54:04Yes, a difference. But yeah, like there's usually
- 54:08like, yeah. Like the people that I'm, like,
- 54:12close to are ones that really embody that frequency.
- 54:15We show up and we're in each other's presence.
- 54:18I don't need anything from them. They don't need anything from
- 54:20me. We both lift each other up and
- 54:24we collaborate when we want. Like, it's just like, it
- 54:26doesn't. There's no, we don't need
- 54:29anything from each other. We're and we're celebrating each
- 54:33other. Those are the friendships and
- 54:35those are the relationships I love and the ones that are
- 54:37waking up to it. Those are the clients that I end
- 54:40up getting. Yeah.
- 54:42And then the other ones, they're for somebody else.
- 54:45Yeah, yeah. It's that life giving.
- 54:48I love that when you relationships become choices,
- 54:51they're not. We know we have all that we need
- 54:55within us. We don't need someone else to
- 54:57make us happy or fill a void or anything else.
- 55:00We already know how to tap into that.
- 55:02We have tapped into that. And then we draw energy and
- 55:06people, we're all, it's like this magnetic energy that brings
- 55:10us together and it's life giving.
- 55:13It's not life taking. And I think that's so important.
- 55:16Thank you so much for sharing that.
- 55:18As we wind down here, a couple of last, what I call rapid fire
- 55:23questions. Share 5 activities that nourish
- 55:28you. Definitely spending time with my
- 55:31kids in my car because then they can't leave.
- 55:33Then we can talk about all the things.
- 55:36That is so fun. Going hiking, being outside in
- 55:40nature is amazing. I love writing.
- 55:46Just going to a super loud Cafe and writing like I, I don't know
- 55:53what it is, but like the louder the space, the more I can
- 55:56concentrate. It seems chaotic, but love that.
- 56:03I love good food. I love going out to eat and like
- 56:08a really good chef. Like making things from scratch
- 56:11and like trying new foods and things like that is really
- 56:15nourishing for me. And I love doing nothing on
- 56:19Sundays. I have no responsibilities on
- 56:23Sundays except for just embracing and just being like,
- 56:27those are like the things that nourish me the most.
- 56:30I love that. I love that I've got Sundays.
- 56:32I've got that protection around my Sunday too.
- 56:34I love it. It's my favorite day.
- 56:39Talk to me about 5 words on how you want to feel the next six
- 56:43months. 5 words I want to feel. I just think like I mean my
- 56:55company is happy whole you. I know it's like I just want to
- 56:59remain happy, feel whole inside and just be who I am.
- 57:05And yeah, it's just that state of being which feels calm at.
- 57:12Complete. Yeah, I love that.
- 57:14I love that you talked about this earlier, too.
- 57:17When you get to the space, you're able to have that
- 57:19contentment in the chaos, like it gives you such a firm
- 57:24foundation to operate from. So good.
- 57:27All right, Doctor Anna Marie, tell people where they can find

- 58:04I mean, if if your heart feels like you need to connect to me,
- 58:08you'll find a way. Yes, we will.
- 58:10That's so true. And one last thought for our
- 58:13listeners today. One last thought.
- 58:20I think just like, just take a breath and remind yourself that
- 58:26like, like all is well. Like give yourself even just
- 58:32like 30 seconds or one minute to just be present with your breath
- 58:36and not think of anything and just all is well.
- 58:41And I think that's just a really great opportunity for, like, to
- 58:45ground yourself and just to be because I believe we all get to
- 58:50have this inner peace. And as long as we allow
- 58:54ourselves to have that inner peace, we can have it.
- 58:56Then we shouldn't let the outside world influence or steal
- 58:59our inner peace. Yeah.
- 59:00I love that. That's a great way to wrap up
- 59:02this conversation. Thank you so much for taking
- 59:05time out of your very busy schedule to be with me today.
