- 0:13Continuation of the Holy Gospel according to Saint John at that
- 0:18time. On the first day of the week,
- 0:21Mary Magdalene cometh early, when it was yet dark, unto the
- 0:26sepulchre, and she saw the stone taken away from the sepulchre.
- 0:32She ran therefore, and cometh to Simon Peter and to the other
- 0:36disciple whom Jesus loved, and says to them, They have taken
- 0:42away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where
- 0:46they have laid him. Peter therefore went out and
- 0:50that other disciple, and they came to the sepulchre, and they
- 0:54both ran together. And that other disciple did
- 0:58outrun Peter, and came first to the sepulchre.
- 1:02And when he stooped down, he saw the linen clothes lying, but yet
- 1:09he went not in. Then cometh Simon Peter
- 1:13following him, and went into the sepulchre, and saw the linen
- 1:16claws lying, and the napkin that had been about his head not
- 1:22lying with linen cloth, but apart, wrapped up into one
- 1:26place. And that other disciple also
- 1:29went in, who came first to the sepulchre, and he saw and
- 1:34believed, for as yet they knew not the Scripture, that he must
- 1:41rise again from the dead.
