- 1:04meaning like more than three hours yesterday verbally so I think I just I needed to to talk,
- 1:11so in real news Florida officially renamed Palm Beach International Airport
- 1:17to the President Donald J.
- 1:20Trump International Airport this week. Yeah.
- 1:23The airport is near Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort, so it makes sense in the same
- 1:29way when you put your own face on your office coffee mug makes sense.
- 1:34It's like technically allowed, but everyone is like, what are you doing?
- 1:40The estimated cost for this Ray-Ban was around $5.5 million for new signs, branding, and updates.
- 1:47None of which went to all of the confusion that people are going to have when
- 1:50they're trying to find Palm Beach International and find out that that code no longer exists.
- 1:56So obviously this caused a lot of issues. The airport was flooded with angry
- 2:01complaints from travelers and some people said that they're just going to stop
- 2:05flying through that airport altogether.
- 2:08People are saying that it kind of feels more like a hotel where the owner keeps
- 2:12adding their name to things because he's worried that guests will forget who paid for the wallpaper.
- 2:17The new airport code is also changing to TJT.
- 2:21And then my dad, shout out to my dad, told me the other day that there's an
- 2:26airport code in Idaho or Nevada.
- 2:30I'm totally blanking right now on the name of it. But the airport code is SUX.
- 2:35So if you fly from you can have a boarding pass that says d.
- 2:42J t s u x okay so we all know how apple maps is getting an update soon well
- 2:48google maps is following their footsteps and they're about to do a massive update
- 2:53for the first time in years,
- 2:56there's this new ai feature called ask maps and lets you actually talk to google
- 3:01maps like a person you can ask things like where can I get a coffee that isn't
- 3:05packed, or plan me a weekend trip,
- 3:08or give me a Starbucks that isn't in a Target.
- 3:11So now Google Maps is basically becoming your overly helpful friend who's like,
- 3:15okay, so I found three brunch spots, the estimated wait time,
- 3:18and also notice you keep going to places that are 40 minutes away from your apartment.
- 3:22This update will also have more realistic navigation views.
- 3:25So instead of having to stare at that little blue arrow on your blank screen,
- 3:28you're going to get a more detailed 3D view.
- 3:31I mean, that's exciting because soon Google Maps won't be just telling you where
- 3:35to go. It'll watch you ignore the directions in real time.
- 3:39Okay, I'm really sorry, but I have another Trump story today,
- 3:42and you know I wouldn't be talking about it if it wasn't worth it. So let's do this.
- 3:47So Trump announced that he's going to be giving a prime time address to the country.
- 3:52You know, that's usually a huge, big presidential TV moment.
- 3:56But this time, it's not about the address. It's about if it's actually going
- 4:01to air on television or not.
- 4:04Several major networks are hesitating over carrying the speech,
- 4:09which is kind of like saying, we'd love to have you over, but maybe,
- 4:12like, let's just hang on the porch.
- 4:15I think you know how your presidency is going if you have a room full of TV
- 4:19executives in a room together talking if they should air a presidential address or a rerun of NCIS.
- 4:28It's kind of ironic, too, for Trump, right? Like, he's built his whole career
- 4:32around, like, reality TV and commanding attention,
- 4:36and now he's facing the one thing that every reality TV star fears,
- 4:40a network deciding that you're not the priority.
- 4:44Of course, the White House wants this to be a major TV moment,
- 4:48but the networks also want ratings.
- 4:51Guess we'll have to find out tonight what happens. And Lindsay life.
- 4:56Not much to update you on.
- 4:58I worked yesterday, which means that I sat on my couch for three hours watching
- 5:03Love Island while trying to plan a new dating show.
- 5:07I ate, I'm pretty sure, an entire bag of broccoli for dinner.
- 5:12Ew. But it was roasted, so it was very, very good.
- 5:16And then I went downtown to watch Ayo's new play before it raps in a week or two. Hard life.
