- 0:09SPEAKER_00: I'm going to tell you exactly who to reach out to to make this happen.
- 0:13SPEAKER_01: The Massive Agent Podcast.
- 0:16SPEAKER_01: We need generation tips and strategies to give you more leads and sell more homes.
- 0:21SPEAKER_00: I love to buy houses.
- 0:22SPEAKER_00: I like to sell houses.
- 0:30SPEAKER_01: I've had better.
- 0:32SPEAKER_01: Oh have I got your attention now?
- 0:35SPEAKER_01: Here's your host, Dustin Brome.
- 0:39SPEAKER_00: What is up, everybody?
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: Welcome to episode number 67 of the Massive Agent Podcast.
- 0:44SPEAKER_00: Thank you for listening.
- 0:46SPEAKER_00: Today is a very good show, and I think you'll find that uh this is gonna be pretty tactical and kind of a no-brainer once you hear about it.
- 0:55SPEAKER_00: But I was able, when I first started my career with content marketing, I started out blogging and and I learned how how by finding the right people who uh who had similar interests or similar uh objectives as me, I could actually get thousands and thousands and thousands of shares on my articles and on my posts.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: You just have to reach out to the right people and ask.
- 1:19SPEAKER_00: And I'm gonna tell you exactly who those people are and how you should do it and why they will be willing to share your content as long as it's good stuff, of course.
- 1:27SPEAKER_00: So I'll give you exactly well, weird.
- 1:31SPEAKER_00: I'll give you specifics.
- 1:32SPEAKER_00: Exact specifics, I guess.
- 1:35SPEAKER_00: Anyways, you know what I'm trying to say.
- 1:37SPEAKER_00: This is episode 67, guys.
- 1:39SPEAKER_00: If you don't, if you well, starting off with a bang here, if you do not already know, if you're new to the show, my name is Dustin Brome, your host.
- 1:47SPEAKER_00: I am a real estate agent in Salt Lake City with EXP Realty.
- 1:51SPEAKER_00: I'm the co-founder of the Industry Syndicate.
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: That's uh that's real estate's very first media network.
- 1:55SPEAKER_00: This show is, of course, a proud founding member of the Industry Syndicate.
- 1:59SPEAKER_00: You can check out all of our other shows, flash briefings, podcasts, video shows over at industry syndicate.com.
- 2:06SPEAKER_00: I'm also the co-founder of the Massive Agent Society.
- 2:09SPEAKER_00: That is our uh copy and paste database of Facebook ads that are proven to work, uh, you know, a training system, online course that teaches you how to become a Facebook ads and lead gen master.
- 2:21SPEAKER_00: I'll talk about that at the end of the show today.
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: And to recap, the sale, the spring sale that we did on Massive Agent Society Lifetime Memberships is now over if you're hearing this, but we still have lifetime memberships.
- 2:34SPEAKER_00: Those are still available, just not as uh deeply discounted as before, but they're still they're still they're still cheaper for a whole lifetime membership that includes all of our future courses and products.
- 2:45SPEAKER_00: That's still less than six months of coaching with frickin' Tom Ferry.
- 2:49SPEAKER_00: So, you know, there you go.
- 2:51SPEAKER_00: Take that for what it's worth.
- 2:52SPEAKER_00: I'm just saying.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: Stay tuned to the end of the show as well, because uh since we did the spring sale the last week that you heard about on episode 66, we sold out of quite a few markets.
- 3:03SPEAKER_00: But if you look at the map of the US and of Canada, there's pretty much most markets are still available.
- 3:10SPEAKER_00: But I will tell you which ones are not available anymore at the end of the show today.
- 3:16SPEAKER_00: So if you do not hear your market mentioned, that means you can still become an all-access member of the Massive Agent Society.
- 3:23SPEAKER_00: You still could reserve and own that that territory for life with a lifetime membership.
- 3:29SPEAKER_00: And if you're new to the show, first time hearing about it, real quick, this just means we only allow one agent or one loan officer per market to join the society because we don't want 20 different agents or you know 12 agents and eight loan officers running the same ads in the same market.
- 3:45SPEAKER_00: That's stupid.
- 3:46SPEAKER_00: That's not something I can stomach.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: So we limit it to just one.
- 3:50SPEAKER_00: But that means once it's sold out, it's sold out.
- 3:52SPEAKER_00: So we'll get to that at the end of the show.
- 3:54SPEAKER_00: Um with the strategy here of uh of content marketing and getting it like if you're trying to get thousands of shares on your posts and on your articles, especially with your articles, the goal there is to get a crap load of traffic to your website, right?
- 4:10SPEAKER_00: Well, when you do that and you have a decent website that has some calls to action and you know some places where it can capture leads, uh, it can direct people to request a home value.
- 4:21SPEAKER_00: Uh if you're a if you're a lender, it can request people to apply or to ask about a quote or inquire about different loan programs.
- 4:29SPEAKER_00: You need to have some calls to action on your website.
- 4:31SPEAKER_00: Hopefully, you have a decent website.
- 4:33SPEAKER_00: And I'll I'll get to the website I use and that I recommend.
- 4:37SPEAKER_00: Um, and uh let's see, I've been using them for like four years.
- 4:41SPEAKER_00: I guess it's been between three and four years now.
- 4:44SPEAKER_00: I've been with the same website provider that and they do an amazing job.
- 4:49SPEAKER_00: I don't have to worry about any hosting, I don't have to worry about any upkeep.
- 4:53SPEAKER_00: I just put the content on the site, they handle the rest.
- 4:56SPEAKER_00: It's been amazing.
- 4:57SPEAKER_00: So I will I'll get to that.
- 4:59SPEAKER_00: But as you can imagine, if you're driving a crap load of traffic to your site, you're gonna start getting leads.
- 5:04SPEAKER_00: That's that's the goal here, right?
- 5:05SPEAKER_00: Is to get a bunch of leads organically through your content, and you need to make sure you have a good CRM to do that.
- 5:12SPEAKER_00: A future show, I was planning on doing it this week, but I just had so much going on.
- 5:16SPEAKER_00: I'm traveling right now, as you're hearing this, I'm probably traveling back to Salt Lake from Phoenix.
- 5:21SPEAKER_00: I was speaking at an event for Fairway Independent Mortgage Southwest, and then another one for Chicago Title on Tuesday and Wednesday.
- 5:30SPEAKER_00: So probably traveling, had a had a lot going on, some craziness.
- 5:33SPEAKER_00: So I I wasn't able to do the show um on why I switched from Lion Desk to WiseAgent around the first of this year.
- 5:42SPEAKER_00: I switched my CRMs.
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: I'd been with Lion Desk for for a couple years, and I recently switched to Wise Agent.
- 5:48SPEAKER_00: I will be doing a full show soon in coming weeks, not too far off, about exactly why and what you should look for in a CRM and why WiseAgent is what I picked, and why maybe, depending on what your needs are, that might not be the right fit for you, but maybe you need this other one over here.
- 6:04SPEAKER_00: We'll we'll do the CRM episode.
- 6:07SPEAKER_00: In the meantime, if you guys want to give Wise Agent a shot, two things, all right.
- 6:14SPEAKER_00: First off, write down this link MassiveAgentPodcast.com slash wise agent.
- 6:18SPEAKER_00: MassiveAgentPodcast.com slash Y slash Wise Agent.
- 6:22SPEAKER_00: You can get a 30-day free trial with that link and access to all of my personal drip campaigns.
- 6:29SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 6:29SPEAKER_00: So I am, these are not live yet, but they will be within the week.
- 6:33SPEAKER_00: All of the all of my personal drip campaigns that I use, I will be sharing with everyone who wants to import them into their own account through Wise Agent.
- 6:41SPEAKER_00: Wise Agent enables that through the platform, but you have to use MassiveAgent Podcast.com slash man, I'm having a hard time saying slash.
- 6:51SPEAKER_00: Just ridiculous today.
- 6:54SPEAKER_00: MassiveAgent Podcast dot com slash wise agent, and then they'll then they can track it.
- 6:59SPEAKER_00: They know who came through that through that promo link and they can track it.
- 7:03SPEAKER_00: So make sure you do that.
- 7:04SPEAKER_00: Give them a you know 30-day free trial, try it out if you're looking for a better CRM, and I'll explain later why I love WiseAgent.
- 7:12SPEAKER_00: They just have so many more freaking features.
- 7:14SPEAKER_00: It's unbelievable.
- 7:15SPEAKER_00: So check that out.
- 7:16SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 7:18SPEAKER_00: Getting your stuff shared.
- 7:19SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 7:20SPEAKER_00: So when I first started, uh if you haven't heard all of our episodes like from the very, very beginning, um, this might be a new story to you.
- 7:28SPEAKER_00: So I'll recap because we did we did a show kind of on this, but not as in-depth as this one will be way back, like six, nine months ago, something like that.
- 7:37SPEAKER_00: When I first started in content marketing, I got a website through EasyAgent Pro and started blogging.
- 7:44SPEAKER_00: And my my hopes was that, because at the time it was just theory, my hope was that I could I could put out some articles, write some articles, create some content, and have buyers or sellers come to me, right?
- 7:58SPEAKER_00: Like through Google, through SEO, they would be able to find me, find my website, and then reach out to me wanting to hire me.
- 8:06SPEAKER_00: And at the time it was just theory.
- 8:08SPEAKER_00: Three three months in, somebody found me through a YouTube video that I did, and which is funny because the YouTube video I just downloaded my Snapchat story where I talk about why Zillow sucks so bad, specifically the Zestimates, and I uploaded that Snap story to YouTube.
- 8:23SPEAKER_00: They found that, that look, that led them to my website.
- 8:27SPEAKER_00: They looked around there, called me, and they're like, hey, you're our guy, we need to buy a house.
- 8:32SPEAKER_00: So three months in I got validation, thank God.
- 8:34SPEAKER_00: I don't know how much longer I would have stuck with it back then.
- 8:37SPEAKER_00: I was not as strong and resilient as I am now.
- 8:40SPEAKER_00: Um so it it proved to me that content marketing works, that you really can attract business to you without chasing it down all the time, without cold calling and door knocking and sending mailers and hitting up your sphere of influence and all that crap.
- 8:54SPEAKER_00: And when I say crap, I don't mean it doesn't ever work, that it works for no one.
- 8:58SPEAKER_00: Obviously that stuff works, but is it the best thing you could do with your time?
- 9:02SPEAKER_00: Probably not.
- 9:03SPEAKER_00: Probably not.
- 9:04SPEAKER_00: Content marketing works and it continues to work over time because your content continues to get more views and more views and more views.
- 9:11SPEAKER_00: So I started, started writing, and once I started writing, I realized, oh crap, creating the content is really just the first step.
- 9:20SPEAKER_00: You have to put out good stuff.
- 9:22SPEAKER_00: It has to be optimized for SEO and for Google and everything like that.
- 9:25SPEAKER_00: And then I'm like, well, wait a minute, now that this is great, um I don't want to just sit back and wait for Google to hopefully start showing this to people in the search results.
- 9:34SPEAKER_00: I need to get traffic.
- 9:35SPEAKER_00: I need to start getting people to see this.
- 9:37SPEAKER_00: So then you have to learn how to promote your content.
- 9:40SPEAKER_00: You have to learn social media marketing, you have to learn Facebook ads.
- 9:44SPEAKER_00: Um, and and this little this little trick that I learned that really just blew up my whole business in a good way.
- 9:51SPEAKER_00: Not not the bad kind of blow up like, you know, game over.
- 9:54SPEAKER_00: I mean, like, took it to the next level.
- 9:57SPEAKER_00: I wrote, I specifically wrote an article called uh all about moving to Salt Lake City, and it was very strategic.
- 10:03SPEAKER_00: Uh, one of my good friends who's a blogger and he's a mentor of mine, his name's Ryan Fitzgerald with Raleigh Realty in Raleigh, North Carolina.
- 10:11SPEAKER_00: Great dude, great dude.
- 10:12SPEAKER_00: He absolutely kills it with his website.
- 10:14SPEAKER_00: But he reached out to me.
- 10:15SPEAKER_00: He's like, dude, you have no idea how many, how many people, how many clients I've had for my moving to Raleigh article.
- 10:22SPEAKER_00: You need to write one for moving to Salt Lake.
- 10:24SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, oh geez, yeah, I guess I should.
- 10:27SPEAKER_00: And so I wrote one and it's um I put a ton of work into it, photos, everything like that.
- 10:33SPEAKER_00: It was like the 15 reasons why you should move to Salt Lake City.
- 10:36SPEAKER_00: And I think there was like 6,000 words or 8,000 words.
- 10:40SPEAKER_00: It's a big long article, but Google loves that.
- 10:43SPEAKER_00: Google loves that shit.
- 10:45SPEAKER_00: And so I published it, and of course, even though it was it was meant to get people searching for moving to Salt Lake, which is a highly searched keyword.
- 10:55SPEAKER_00: You have to learn some keyword research if you're gonna do this stuff.
- 10:58SPEAKER_00: Just Google it and YouTube it.
- 11:00SPEAKER_00: But once it's it's crazy because I the same thing, I created this article and I'm like, this thing's amazing.
- 11:07SPEAKER_00: Now I need people to see it.
- 11:09SPEAKER_00: And I don't know what happened, but I'm like, who would be interested in sharing this?
- 11:14SPEAKER_00: Because here's a little tip for you.
- 11:16SPEAKER_00: When it comes to telling Google what content is good and what isn't, social shares is absolutely crucial.
- 11:25SPEAKER_00: Okay, just people liking and reacting and commenting on your Facebook post is one thing.
- 11:29SPEAKER_00: That that's good for your Facebook SEO, your Facebook algorithm.
- 11:32SPEAKER_00: But Google doesn't know about that.
- 11:34SPEAKER_00: But Google looks at the social shares.
- 11:37SPEAKER_00: It looks at how many times a particular piece of content has been shared on social media because when it's shared, it sees it as, okay, this is good stuff, otherwise somebody wouldn't be sharing it.
- 11:48SPEAKER_00: Social sharing is directly related to your SEO and how your how your your website and your your blog and all your content shows up in the search engines.
- 11:58SPEAKER_00: And so I'm like, who would be interested in sharing this about moving to Salt Lake?
- 12:02SPEAKER_00: And I thought, how, or or rather, who who has aligned interests?
- 12:07SPEAKER_00: Who also wants to get in front of people moving to Salt Lake City?
- 12:12SPEAKER_00: And I thought, moving companies, obviously.
- 12:14SPEAKER_00: Moving companies would be.
- 12:16SPEAKER_00: Um, maybe the the Department of Commerce, or sorry, the Chamber of Commerce.
- 12:21SPEAKER_00: And then I'm like, wait a minute, what about like the a tourism board?
- 12:25SPEAKER_00: Um, like like the local tourism board or some of these mommy blogs that that uh focus on travel and you know the local area, right?
- 12:34SPEAKER_00: Well, it was then that that I realized there's a a local media company called Visit Salt Lake, and they're it's not a government agency, but they have some sort of relationship with the state of Utah to get more tourism.
- 12:46SPEAKER_00: They want more people to come here.
- 12:49SPEAKER_00: And so I sent them this article.
- 12:51SPEAKER_00: I I just I think it was a I think I sent a tweet, uh a message on Twitter to their uh Twitter profile.
- 12:58SPEAKER_00: I think that's how they first I think that's how I first made contact with them.
- 13:02SPEAKER_00: And I sent them a link and I'm like, hey, I just put together this huge resource for anyone thinking of moving to Salt Lake City.
- 13:07SPEAKER_00: You should check it out, and if you would please, if you think it'd be relevant for your audience, please consider sharing it.
- 13:14SPEAKER_00: And they did.
- 13:14SPEAKER_00: And these guys have hundreds of thousands of Facebook followers.
- 13:18SPEAKER_00: Like, they are the big media company in in Salt Lake.
- 13:21SPEAKER_00: So they shared it, they shared that article on Facebook, and there were thousands and thousands of comments.
- 13:27SPEAKER_00: It got shared thousands and thousands of times.
- 13:30SPEAKER_00: Uh, I think two thousand times on Facebook.
- 13:32SPEAKER_00: They put it on Pinterest and that got pinned like crazy.
- 13:35SPEAKER_00: They put it on Twitter and it got retweeted like crazy.
- 13:38SPEAKER_00: And so Google, Google saw that and rocketed that page, which was done well.
- 13:44SPEAKER_00: Like I had done all the SEO stuff and had the keywords there and and really, really spent a lot of time.
- 13:50SPEAKER_00: I probably spent two weeks on the article, legitimately.
- 13:53SPEAKER_00: But I because I knew it was going to be like the article, like my main pillar piece of content.
- 13:58SPEAKER_00: So I took the time to make sure it was great.
- 14:00SPEAKER_00: Then once all of a sudden Google sees it being shared thousands of times on social, it went to number one on page one of Google and it stayed there for a couple years.
- 14:10SPEAKER_00: And it's still on page one.
- 14:11SPEAKER_00: It's like number number two, three, four, five.
- 14:14SPEAKER_00: It depends, it depends on the search term.
- 14:17SPEAKER_00: But it's an older article, right?
- 14:18SPEAKER_00: And it's still there, it's still bringing me leads.
- 14:21SPEAKER_00: And I mean, I've made hundreds of thousands in commission, not to say like multiple hundreds of thousands, I've made at least a hundred thousand in commission uh from just from just clients that that found me through that one article.
- 14:34SPEAKER_00: It's crazy.
- 14:35SPEAKER_00: And so, but it taught me that if you just learn to find the people who are whose interests are aligned with yours as a real estate agent, if you want, if you want to attract people to move to your town, there are other people outside of our industry who also want the same thing.
- 14:52SPEAKER_00: Your local chamber of commerce, a local travel blog, a local uh local uh personality even, even just like a local personality that wants that's really proud of the town and wants it to grow.
- 15:04SPEAKER_00: Like find find those people who have large followings on social media.
- 15:09SPEAKER_00: Find those accounts.
- 15:10SPEAKER_00: With with Salt Lake, it was Visit Salt Lake.
- 15:13SPEAKER_00: And it, you know, there they have to do with tourism.
- 15:15SPEAKER_00: So find a tourism-related one.
- 15:17SPEAKER_00: Maybe it's a mommy blog.
- 15:19SPEAKER_00: Maybe it's uh who knows?
- 15:21SPEAKER_00: Maybe it's like a travel site.
- 15:23SPEAKER_00: Um, but find those social accounts, create your piece of content, and reach out and say, hey, this is in line.
- 15:30SPEAKER_00: Like this is what you're this this meets the kind of content that you share already.
- 15:34SPEAKER_00: Because here's here, if you guys are new to content marketing, know this.
- 15:38SPEAKER_00: We're always looking for new content to share.
- 15:42SPEAKER_00: And you're probably always looking for articles and stuff about your area to share as well, stuff that content that isn't yours.
- 15:48SPEAKER_00: So if someone reaches out with something relevant that's that accomplishes what you want the content to accomplish, you're gonna share it.
- 15:56SPEAKER_00: So reach out to those people.
- 15:58SPEAKER_00: When you do, when you find the right people, and ideally they have hundreds of thousands of followers, and they share it, that piece of content can go to page one on Google and change your business overnight.
- 16:09SPEAKER_00: It's crazy.
- 16:10SPEAKER_00: Not literally overnight, but within a couple weeks, within a month.
- 16:13SPEAKER_00: Like your business can just get nuts, and and the traffic to your website can get nuts.
- 16:19SPEAKER_00: I'm telling you guys, you have to take a step back, zoom out, think about whose interests are aligned with yours.
- 16:24SPEAKER_00: Maybe it's a local insurance agency, a moving company, um, an event center, a conference center, you know, all of the above.
- 16:33SPEAKER_00: And and don't just reach out to one, reach out to all of them.
- 16:36SPEAKER_00: Hit them up on Facebook, send them a Facebook message, uh, hit them up on Twitter, you know, find their email, submit a contact form on the website, hit them all up, send it to them and say, hey, I created this.
- 16:47SPEAKER_00: It's a great resource for people traveling here or in the area or wanting to move here or whatever, and say, would you please share this?
- 16:54SPEAKER_00: Make sure you sp you explicitly ask them.
- 16:57SPEAKER_00: If you think this is helpful and and you think it's relevant to your brand, please consider sharing.
- 17:03SPEAKER_00: And they will.
- 17:04SPEAKER_00: That they will.
- 17:06SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 17:06SPEAKER_00: And do that over and over.
- 17:07SPEAKER_00: Reach out to local influencers, local mommy bloggers, everybody.
- 17:12SPEAKER_00: You do this, and I promise you, it will change your business forever.
- 17:15SPEAKER_00: You will have so much traffic, you will become one of the best, most visited uh social accounts or websites in the area as long as you're putting out good stuff.
- 17:23SPEAKER_00: Okay, make sure that you don't just do the one article, make sure that you do a few and and keep the good stuff coming.
- 17:29SPEAKER_00: They could be YouTube videos.
- 17:30SPEAKER_00: It doesn't have to be an article, it could be a YouTube video, right?
- 17:33SPEAKER_00: Uh like a moving to Sioux Falls uh YouTube video.
- 17:37SPEAKER_00: Uh it doesn't matter, but if it's relevant, they're gonna share it, and it will change your business overnight.
- 17:41SPEAKER_00: Organic leads like crazy.
- 17:43SPEAKER_00: They'll keep coming for years as long as it's good content.
- 17:46SPEAKER_00: Unbelievable.
- 17:47SPEAKER_00: So that changed everything.
- 17:49SPEAKER_00: Um I made sure that I went into my CRM.
- 17:51SPEAKER_00: At the time it was not Wise Agent, it was I was using, I was using Lion Desk, and I created a special drip campaign for people who who filled out a particular form on my site on that article, and it assigned them to a relevant drip campaign.
- 18:06SPEAKER_00: You can do that with WiseAgent, you can do that with with most CRMs.
- 18:10SPEAKER_00: Make sure that those people that reach out organically do not fall through the cracks.
- 18:14SPEAKER_00: Most of them emailed me.
- 18:15SPEAKER_00: Most of them didn't come through a contact form, but the organic leads come from all different ways: a Facebook message, a contact form, a text, a phone call, an email.
- 18:25SPEAKER_00: So make sure that you have the infrastructure set up to capture those people and make sure they don't fall through the cracks.
- 18:30SPEAKER_00: Use agentology if you want.
- 18:32SPEAKER_00: Agentology is great to respond to those people.
- 18:35SPEAKER_00: I mean, you just have to think through.
- 18:38SPEAKER_00: It's and this is a huge mistake that people make.
- 18:42SPEAKER_00: Because we're we're real estate agents.
- 18:43SPEAKER_00: We're loan officers.
- 18:44SPEAKER_00: Like we close loans all day.
- 18:45SPEAKER_00: Like that's our business.
- 18:46SPEAKER_00: We we sell homes, we have to go show homes and do listing presentations.
- 18:51SPEAKER_00: But we're also marketers.
- 18:52SPEAKER_00: So we have to do all the marketing stuff in addition to it.
- 18:55SPEAKER_00: That's why our business is so hard if you're a solopreneur, because you have to do all the marketing stuff in addition to the real estate agent or loan officer stuff.
- 19:03SPEAKER_00: Doesn't mean that you shouldn't, doesn't mean that you can't.
- 19:06SPEAKER_00: You absolutely can, if I can do it.
- 19:08SPEAKER_00: You you fricking can, I'll tell you that much.
- 19:10SPEAKER_00: But it just takes a lot of extra effort and working some extra hours.
- 19:14SPEAKER_00: Maybe you work some nights, maybe you don't take the weekend off for a little while and work, get shit set up, and it pays off.
- 19:22SPEAKER_00: If you're at a if you're at a point where you're struggling or you're just not satisfied with your business, you've you've gotta you've got to make the commitment and it's time.
- 19:30SPEAKER_00: It's time.
- 19:31SPEAKER_00: You have to do that.
- 19:33SPEAKER_00: So a couple of these vendors I mentioned, um, if you want to get discounts on them, I mentioned Easy Agent Pro, MassiveAgent Podcast.com slash EAP.
- 19:43SPEAKER_00: If you don't have a clue what they do, I'm telling you, they are the best value in the real estate industry for a real estate website that has home search.
- 19:52SPEAKER_00: They have landing pages included, they have texting, like they have all this cool stuff in the website, great websites, all the calls to action, and it's the best value.
- 20:00SPEAKER_00: It's less than 200 bucks a month.
- 20:02SPEAKER_00: Like you don't you don't have to spend$500 or$1,000 a month on a goddamn website to capture leads.
- 20:08SPEAKER_00: I don't.
- 20:09SPEAKER_00: And I and I have no desire to leave.
- 20:11SPEAKER_00: Uh so set up a demo with them.
- 20:13SPEAKER_00: See what, see what they can do.
- 20:14SPEAKER_00: See, set up a demo, they'll walk you through so you can see what I see.
- 20:18SPEAKER_00: MassiveAgent Podcast.com slash EAP.
- 20:21SPEAKER_00: And then I mentioned Agentology, I mentioned WiseAgent.
- 20:25SPEAKER_00: You can get discounts on all of these, all of these vendors that I personally use and I think are absolutely crucial to your overall system.
- 20:33SPEAKER_00: You can get links to all of it at Massivagent Podcast.com slash resources.
- 20:38SPEAKER_00: The resources page on our site has discounts to all of these different vendors and service providers and more.
- 20:44SPEAKER_00: So go check those out.
- 20:45SPEAKER_00: Discounts on podcast hosts, discounts on a service called Repurpose that I use that turns like it can turn a Facebook Live into a YouTube video automatically.
- 20:55SPEAKER_00: It automatically takes each podcast episode and automatically uh creates a YouTube video every time I publish a new podcast.
- 21:03SPEAKER_00: It puts it on YouTube also.
- 21:04SPEAKER_00: That's called repurpose.
- 21:05SPEAKER_00: You can get a uh discount over there, massive agentpodcast.com/slash resources.
- 21:11SPEAKER_00: But think again, guys, about about the content marketing.
- 21:15SPEAKER_00: Even if you're not blogging, even if all you're doing is your YouTubing, maybe you're just doing IGTV, maybe you just want your Facebook posts on your business page to be shared more so you can build a bigger Facebook page following.
- 21:28SPEAKER_00: That's all good, right?
- 21:29SPEAKER_00: Find the other pages that are in line that have similar interests to you, uh that all have to do with your local area, and create content and ask them to share it.
- 21:41SPEAKER_00: Create content and feature other like do the the 10 best coffee shops in town.
- 21:46SPEAKER_00: And and then when you post it, tag each one of those coffee shops in the post.
- 21:50SPEAKER_00: And then email them and say, hey, here's a link to the article.
- 21:53SPEAKER_00: You were just included at number six.
- 21:55SPEAKER_00: You know, congratulations.
- 21:56SPEAKER_00: Please consider sharing this.
- 21:58SPEAKER_00: And some of them will and some won't.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: You start doing that stuff and you start really growing your following because you get others to share your content.
- 22:06SPEAKER_00: If you, if if right now you're sitting here listening to this and you don't have other people outside of yourself and your friends and your family sharing your content, you can absolutely change that.
- 22:18SPEAKER_00: There's no excuse for that except for just a lack of trying.
- 22:23SPEAKER_00: A lack of trying.
- 22:25SPEAKER_00: You just have to you have to think outside the box, implement some of the shit that I'm talking about, and you can absolutely do it.
- 22:31SPEAKER_00: It doesn't matter if you're an agent or a loan officer, you can all do this.
- 22:35SPEAKER_00: Loan officers, you guys have the same uh the same potential customer base as an agent.
- 22:42SPEAKER_00: You realize that.
- 22:43SPEAKER_00: Lenders, agents, we're all marketing to the same people.
- 22:46SPEAKER_00: The same people.
- 22:48SPEAKER_00: Just because you're a loan officer doesn't mean that you have to talk about rates and mortgages and bond charts all goddamn day.
- 22:55SPEAKER_00: Unless your goal is to turn people off and make them unfollow you, because that's boring as all hell.
- 23:00SPEAKER_00: You know it, I know it.
- 23:01SPEAKER_00: We all know it.
- 23:03SPEAKER_00: It's all about the house.
- 23:04SPEAKER_00: The house.
- 23:05SPEAKER_00: Okay?
- 23:05SPEAKER_00: The house and the area, the the local area.
- 23:08SPEAKER_00: That's what's sexy, that's what gets attention.
- 23:10SPEAKER_00: Not the mortgage.
- 23:12SPEAKER_00: Not the mortgage.
- 23:14SPEAKER_00: Before I wrap up this piece on getting your stuff shared thousands of times, if you're unsure of who some of these uh who some of these other pages or or personalities or brands are, look on Facebook.
- 23:26SPEAKER_00: Type your your town or your city into Facebook and see what pages come up.
- 23:30SPEAKER_00: Look on look on Pinterest.
- 23:32SPEAKER_00: Pinterest is an amazing place to find other mommy bloggers or uh local travel bloggers or whatever that that are doing content on your area.
- 23:41SPEAKER_00: Search Pinterest.
- 23:42SPEAKER_00: Even if you're not an active Pinterest user, use it as a search engine.
- 23:46SPEAKER_00: And then find some of those blogs, find some of those websites, and then reach out.
- 23:51SPEAKER_00: You realize when you're when you're creating content and sharing it online, you don't it usually you're always looking for something new to share.
- 23:58SPEAKER_00: So these these companies, these brands, they're it's not when you're on the outside looking in, you you're like, oh my God, I'd be so honored if you would share this, right?
- 24:09SPEAKER_00: But when you're on the other side, you're like, yes, please, I would like a piece of content to share that's good that isn't my own.
- 24:15SPEAKER_00: Like they're they're almost like wanting you to reach out and say, hey, share this.
- 24:20SPEAKER_00: Like you're giving them a piece of content.
- 24:23SPEAKER_00: Guys, break down that wall.
- 24:25SPEAKER_00: They need you, they need your content.
- 24:27SPEAKER_00: Just find the right people, get them to share it.
- 24:29SPEAKER_00: And you just have to be bold enough to ask and hit them up on multiple platforms.
- 24:33SPEAKER_00: I I Twitter, I don't even use Twitter really, but but that's how I reached out to visit Salt Lake and made the first contact.
- 24:41SPEAKER_00: And they were like, oh yes, we'll absolutely share it.
- 24:43SPEAKER_00: This is great.
- 24:44SPEAKER_00: I was blown away.
- 24:45SPEAKER_00: Like it was it works, guys.
- 24:47SPEAKER_00: When you start getting thousands and thousands and thousands of shares on your stuff, you you're gonna you're gonna realize it was so worth it to reach out and ask that people share your stuff.
- 24:56SPEAKER_00: Make sure you're not going overboard with it, make sure you're not being too pushy, make sure you're not being too ridiculous, because some people do that.
- 25:02SPEAKER_00: But if it's the right fit, it's good.
- 25:05SPEAKER_00: Like if you reach out to a local dentist and you're like, hey, can you please share this post?
- 25:10SPEAKER_00: Like, that's kind of that's spammy.
- 25:12SPEAKER_00: If you reach out to the local travel blogger who focuses on all the great stuff in your area, and you just did an article on the 10 best coffee shops in town, they will share that if you as long as you're not a douchebag.
- 25:25SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean?
- 25:26SPEAKER_00: So there you go.
- 25:27SPEAKER_00: Content marketing, guys, it works.
- 25:28SPEAKER_00: The more eyeballs you get, the better.
- 25:31SPEAKER_00: Marketing one-on-one.
- 25:32SPEAKER_00: The more eyeballs you get, the better.
- 25:34SPEAKER_00: The more people see your stuff, the bigger your following gets, the better your your content in the future gets.
- 25:40SPEAKER_00: Here's a little algorithm tip for Facebook and Instagram.
- 25:43SPEAKER_00: If you guys put out one of these posts that just starts getting shared like crazy, make sure that the very next post you do, or rather do this, okay?
- 25:51SPEAKER_00: Because Facebook is, I'll talk Facebook specifically.
- 25:54SPEAKER_00: Facebook loves when people use Facebook Live.
- 25:57SPEAKER_00: They're still pushing that heavy and they incentivize people to use Facebook Live.
- 26:01SPEAKER_00: So if you know you're about to, you're about to do a post that you want a lot of people to see.
- 26:06SPEAKER_00: That's uh maybe it's uh one of those right hook posts, you know, you're asking for a sale, you're asking for something, or it's just an article that you want more people to see.
- 26:15SPEAKER_00: Do a Facebook Live, make sure that you stay on long enough to get a bunch of engagement going, you know, really plan out your Facebook Live and do that well.
- 26:23SPEAKER_00: The very next post after that, that's when you should share your the post that you want people to see organically.
- 26:30SPEAKER_00: You're gonna get a little organic boost if you do it after you've done a Facebook Live that people have engaged with.
- 26:36SPEAKER_00: There's just a little tip for you on how to hack the algorithm because Facebook Live helps.
- 26:42SPEAKER_00: It shows the algorithm, hey, this is good stuff.
- 26:44SPEAKER_00: There's a lot of engagement.
- 26:45SPEAKER_00: So the very next post you're gonna get a little more organic reach out of.
- 26:49SPEAKER_00: That's when you share an article or a piece of content you want everyone to see.
- 26:52SPEAKER_00: Get to work, guys.
- 26:53SPEAKER_00: This is fun stuff.
- 26:54SPEAKER_00: This is fun stuff.
- 26:55SPEAKER_00: I know it might seem overwhelming and it can be.
- 26:59SPEAKER_00: I geez, I remember when I first started my website, I was like, I don't have a clue about SEO.
- 27:04SPEAKER_00: Like it, I was like, how am I ever gonna learn this stuff?
- 27:07SPEAKER_00: It's so complicated.
- 27:09SPEAKER_00: And I just one day at a time started, you know, how do you how do you eat an elephant?
- 27:15SPEAKER_00: One bite at a time.
- 27:16SPEAKER_00: I would just take take one step forward, learn one additional thing, and then one more thing, and one more thing.
- 27:21SPEAKER_00: And pretty soon, after a month or so, I knew so many new things, and then it clicked for me.
- 27:26SPEAKER_00: And then I kept learning and kept learning, and I still do it every day.
- 27:29SPEAKER_00: I try to learn at least something new every single day.
- 27:32SPEAKER_00: And that's how you get good.
- 27:34SPEAKER_00: So don't worry about it if you're not a pro, because nobody who just starts out is a frickin' pro.
- 27:39SPEAKER_00: That's not how it works.
- 27:41SPEAKER_00: You can't you can't just show up never having played football before and show up for the NFL draft, you know, unless unless you're a comedian, then that could be pretty funny.
- 27:51SPEAKER_00: But you know what I'm saying.
- 27:52SPEAKER_00: You have to learn by doing, and it just takes work.
- 27:56SPEAKER_00: That's it.
- 27:56SPEAKER_00: I've got to be honest, guys.
- 27:58SPEAKER_00: I because I have a lot of coaching clients.
- 28:00SPEAKER_00: I talk to whenever I speak, whenever I travel, whenever I open my messages, I have I talk to a lot of you guys.
- 28:07SPEAKER_00: And the biggest underlying theme of why I why I believe people are not succeeding at the level they should be or want to be is a lack of effort.
- 28:18SPEAKER_00: Or rather, let me let me qualify that.
- 28:20SPEAKER_00: Because I'm not saying you're a lazy piece of shit.
- 28:22SPEAKER_00: Some of you are.
- 28:24SPEAKER_00: And if you are, cool.
- 28:25SPEAKER_00: I'm not gonna take that back if you are.
- 28:27SPEAKER_00: But most of you aren't.
- 28:28SPEAKER_00: But maybe you're just not working as hard.
- 28:31SPEAKER_00: Maybe you need an extra hour a day.
- 28:33SPEAKER_00: Maybe you need to do one extra post a day.
- 28:35SPEAKER_00: Maybe you need to spend 30 minutes learning, learning some topic every day.
- 28:41SPEAKER_00: It just most of you guys need a little extra.
- 28:44SPEAKER_00: You need to try a little harder and do it consistently, and then you will win.
- 28:48SPEAKER_00: So so many of you are so close, so close, you just have to keep going and keep learning every single day.
- 28:54SPEAKER_00: I hope you take that to heart.
- 28:55SPEAKER_00: I hope you do that.
- 28:56SPEAKER_00: I mean it.
- 28:57SPEAKER_00: I know how that how that worked for me in my own personal career.
- 29:01SPEAKER_00: Get a little bit better every single day, and over the course of a year, you're a completely different person.
- 29:05SPEAKER_00: You're a freaking professional who who you're an expert if you get better every single day.
- 29:10SPEAKER_00: If you get 10% better every day, that's 365% better over the year.
- 29:16SPEAKER_00: Actually, more than that, because it compounds.
- 29:18SPEAKER_00: If you're 10% better, then you know, it compounds.
- 29:21SPEAKER_00: You you get what I'm saying though.
- 29:22SPEAKER_00: I'm a real estate agent, so obviously I'm not a math whiz.
- 29:25SPEAKER_00: Let's be real.
- 29:26SPEAKER_00: So, guys, I am uh I'm super excited and super thankful for all of you who have enabled our Alexa flash briefing called the Massive Agent Minute.
- 29:34SPEAKER_00: Super, super thankful for everyone who's left a review for us.
- 29:37SPEAKER_00: Why do I why do I leave it plugged in?
- 29:39SPEAKER_00: Why do Alexa stop?
- 29:42SPEAKER_00: Every time, every time.
- 29:45SPEAKER_00: Uh everyone who's left a review for us on the Alexa platform, super helpful.
- 29:49SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
- 29:49SPEAKER_00: If you have not enabled it, all you have to do is say Alexa, enable the Massive Agent Minute.
- 29:54SPEAKER_00: That is our flash briefing.
- 29:55SPEAKER_00: It's between one and four minutes of new stuff every single day, seven days a week.
- 30:01SPEAKER_00: I even do it on Saturday and Sunday.
- 30:03SPEAKER_00: And it's it's an extension of this show.
- 30:05SPEAKER_00: Uh any new ideas or tips or strategies or thoughts or jokes or stories or whatever that I feel like sharing that I think would be helpful to you, I do it on the flash briefing.

- 30:28SPEAKER_00: Um, I mentioned the Massive Agent Society up at the beginning.
- 30:32SPEAKER_00: We did a sale last week for$1,000 off the lifetime membership.
- 30:36SPEAKER_00: It's still, even at full price, like I said before, less than six months of shitty coaching with Tom Ferry, with the Tom Ferry.
- 30:45SPEAKER_00: It's not even with him, with his organization, with his coaches, right?
- 30:48SPEAKER_00: I I was meeting with someone the other day, we had lunch, uh, an agent locally, and on his credit card, you know, it's he he puts, they make you sign up for a frickin' year, a year contract, and it's uh what, sixteen hundred or seventeen hundred every three months for a year.
- 31:03SPEAKER_00: So four payments of sixteen or seventeen hundred for a year.
- 31:07SPEAKER_00: I just guys, I'm sure that that that's brought a lot of value to some people.
- 31:14SPEAKER_00: If you do it, if you do it.
- 31:15SPEAKER_00: But uh if you're listening to this show, I think something else might resonate with you.
- 31:20SPEAKER_00: Please check out MassiveAgenSociety.com to learn if if what we do, if our coaching program, if our training course and our Facebook ads database is what you need for your business and where you're at right now.

- 31:42SPEAKER_00: You know, it's not the exclusive that's shared.
- 31:45SPEAKER_00: You literally can take your whole market and claim it and be the only agent or the only loan officer in that whole area within the Massive Agent Society all access.
- 31:55SPEAKER_00: So MassiveAgen Society.com, you'll get details there.

- 32:16SPEAKER_00: You don't have a recurring payment, it's a one-time deal, and I mean it's very, very affordable.
- 32:22SPEAKER_00: Uh or you can do it on a monthly basis as well, totally up to you.
- 32:25SPEAKER_00: It's just a little bit more, but still very, very affordable.
