- Jessica Figueroa: Hello again. I am coming to you today with our podcast from the best book around, the Holy Bible. And we are here in Matthew under the section titled Do Not Worry, which is so in line with Dale Carnegie's book that this podcast was inspired by. I just want to read it to you. I'm here in Matthew chapter six, verse twenty five, called Do Not Worry. Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink, or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air, they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow? They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, What shall we eat, or what shall we drink, or what shall we wear? For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow. For tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Sometimes we forget that some of the books we read or the podcasts we listen to or the wise sayings of people all really just came from God's word, God's true word, the Bible. So here in this section, Jesus is saying, Don't worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow's gonna worry about itself. Isn't that the truth? No matter what you do today. Whatever worry there's going to be a tomorrow, whatever problems are going to come tomorrow, whatever good things are coming, they're coming tomorrow, whether or not you think about them today. And then Jesus says, each day has enough trouble of its own. Why worry about tomorrow's worry today? Because that one has its own. And this also goes back to our Lord's Prayer. That was one of our just for today's. That give us this day our daily bread. So do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. So today we're not gonna worry about what we eat, what we drink, our body, what we wear, anything. We're just gonna not worry because we're instructed to write in the Bible. These are the things we do together, and you could never go wrong getting back into your Bible and hearing what God has to say about it. I'll see you guys tomorrow.
