It's an odd feeling, to long for someone to be worse at what they're doing so that you can find it more entertaining. This week, Bill Maher manages to find a baseline of... not competency, but perhaps "not being pure shit"(?) and it's a little dispiriting for myself and my returning guest, Josh Boerman. Look, he still humiliates himself, but the mush mouth, the dozens of lip smacks, the total lack of knowledge about what he's talking about; it's here, but it's just... lesser. That is until the final New Rule, at which point we get to fill the quota for raving "what is he talking about?!"…
