- 0:05Welcome to The Hypnotist, the show that gives you inside
- 0:09access to cutting edge hypnosis with real clients facing
- 0:12genuine. Issues.
- 0:13Brought to you by The Hypnotherapist, demanded by
- 0:16celebrities CE OS and even royalty Adam Cox, these
- 0:21recordings took place live from Evans Clinic in London's world
- 0:24famous Harley Street. So get yourself comfortable and
- 0:31enjoy today's episode of The Hypnotist.
- 0:38Hi, it's Adam here, and you're about to listen to a health,
- 0:43fitness and strength hypnosis session.
- 0:46I was working with a client that was already into exercise.
- 0:50They were very active, but they really wanted to be the
- 0:54strongest and leanest that they had ever been.
- 0:58Now the problem with a goal that is ill defined is that it
- 1:03becomes very, very difficult to know how to make unconscious
- 1:08choices and decisions if you don't have absolute clarity on
- 1:12where you're moving. You could be stronger just by
- 1:15lifting a tiny bit more weight than you have before.
- 1:18Technically you're stronger and if you lose a pound, then
- 1:22technically you're leaner. So having these I'll defined
- 1:25goals isn't as good as saying well, I'm the strongest I've
- 1:28ever been, but that would mean having APB or I'm the leanest
- 1:32I've ever been might be having the lowest body fat percentage.
- 1:36So the session that you're about to listen to uses specifics
- 1:41because they wanted to be the fittest, the strongest and the
- 1:44leanest that they ever had been. We actually have goals linked to
- 1:49that and we make it really simple.
- 1:51There is 3 numbers there now. The first number is the number
- 1:5715 and they wanted to have a body fat percentage of 15%
- 2:01because they knew that would be the leanest that they've been in
- 2:05more than a decade. So they're going to be very lean
- 2:08at 15% body fat. They also wanted to be strong
- 2:11and for them strong represented squatting 300 lbs.
- 2:16So because I think in terms of kilos that's about 140 kilos,
- 2:19there are thereabouts. That's a decent way.
- 2:21If you can squat 140 kilos, you can be considered strong
- 2:26depending on your body weight. Now they also wanted to be fit
- 2:31and for them they weren't really into running their more into
- 2:35CrossFit. So for them a really good
- 2:38fitness target would be running a half marathon in under 2
- 2:42hours. Now in all of these metrics
- 2:45there are people that really take those metrics seriously
- 2:48that could be a lot leaner. You know, for example,
- 2:51bodybuilders in competition can get down to under 5% body fat
- 2:56and power lifters, you know they're aiming for a lot more
- 3:01than £300. Squat and marathon runners and
- 3:05half marathon runners would aim to do it in half the time of
- 3:09that at the very elite levels. It's not about.
- 3:12Being the best in the world, it's being the best for you as
- 3:15an individual. And this client absolutely knew
- 3:18that if they could do all three 15% body fat, squat 300 lbs and
- 3:24do a half marathon in under 2 hours, then their vitality,
- 3:28their health, their confidence would be at a whole new level.
- 3:31So you're going to hear these numbers throughout this session.
- 3:35What I would encourage you to do is to think about your
- 3:38equivalent of these things in your life.
- 3:41You might not want to be 50% body fat, you might want to have
- 3:44a clothing size and you might not want to squat £300.
- 3:48There might be a different exercise like doing 100 press
- 3:51UPS or a certain number of pull ups for example, or a muscle up
- 3:54that would represent strength for you.
- 3:57So get a bit of clarity of three health, fitness and strength
- 4:00goals that would be really motivating for you and have them
- 4:03front of mind when you listen to this session.
- 4:06And then you will get the value that is calibrated to you and
- 4:10your goals. And if you actually want a real
- 4:12session calibrated to your goals or to work with me directly,
- 4:15have a look at my website whichisadamcox.co.uk.
- 4:18Or you can check the description of this episode.
- 4:21There'll be a button nearby so you can actually see the
- 4:24details. And there's lots of links and
- 4:25resources about how you can work with me there.
- 4:28For now though, find a quiet, confident place where you won't
- 4:32be distracted or disturbed. Relax and enjoy the session.
- 4:49Take a deep breath in, and as you breathe in, breathe in that
- 4:57wonderful feeling of calm relaxation.
- 5:02And as you exhale, feel a wonderful feeling of release, as
- 5:12if any tension, stress, any worries, any insecurities of
- 5:17just leaving your body in your outward breath As you breathe in
- 5:23a feeling of resourceful relaxation and allow yourself to
- 5:30just let go every time you exhale.
- 5:36That's it. Breathing and relaxation.
- 5:40Exhaling tension. And I wonder if you can discover
- 5:50the rhythm of your breathing. And the slower and deeper you
- 5:59breathe, the more relaxed you feel.
- 6:06And the more relaxed you feel, the deeper you breathe, creating
- 6:09a wonderful cycle of ever increasing relaxation.
- 6:16And as your body relaxes, your imagination awakens.
- 6:25And you don't need to force the relaxation.
- 6:29Your body already knows how to shift gears from effort into
- 6:36recovery. And every outward breath, the
- 6:42mind becomes a little quieter, and your limbs become a little
- 6:48heavier. And as the mind settles, you can
- 6:55begin to imagine something simple, powerful.
- 7:04Part of you already sees your body as an avatar, an entity
- 7:12that you can utilize. Enhance.
- 7:16But I want you to think of your body.
- 7:20Notice something separate from you, but something you
- 7:26experience from the inside out. Something you shape, develop and
- 7:32enhance. And just like any powerful
- 7:37system, this physical body responds to attention, to
- 7:43training, to fuel, and to recovery.
- 7:50And I want you to imagine being beside a lake.
- 7:55And I want you to imagine, as you stare into the surface of
- 7:58the water, seeing something unusual.
- 8:04I want you to see shapes made from ripples that create 3
- 8:09numbers there on the surface of the lake.
- 8:13See the number 15, and then 300 and then two.
- 8:22The three numbers are separate but still connected, and each
- 8:30number represents a goal, an objective, a mission and a
- 8:37milestone. 15% body fat, a £300 squat and a half marathon in
- 8:49under 2 hours. Simple numbers, but powerful
- 8:56signals. Because each number represents
- 9:01something significant and deep. It's not just about performance.
- 9:10It represents energy, vitality, freedom inside your body to
- 9:20allow your mind to recognize something interesting.
- 9:26These numbers aren't obligation, not pressure, not requirements.
- 9:34They are a direction, a compass, a north star, so that every
- 9:43workout, every meal, every decision, conscious or
- 9:49unconscious, can quietly align with that direction. 15302 And
- 10:04as the body moves toward 15% body fat, something interesting
- 10:10begins to happen. Almost like as the body becomes
- 10:16leaner, it means your body is more efficient.
- 10:22And when your body is more efficient, the senses becomes
- 10:26more attuned. And that makes sense, so that
- 10:32breathing fresh air feels better.
- 10:37The outdoors becomes more inviting.
- 10:43Your eyesight remains the same, but what you notice pays
- 10:47attention to more details. You will see colors and textures
- 10:53you didn't notice before. When you're walking, hiking, and
- 10:58exploring nature. They all become more enjoyable,
- 11:04the sensation of a breeze on your skin, a subtle scent in the
- 11:08air. Because a lean body moves
- 11:13through the world differently. And as you eat well, something
- 11:22else begins to change. Because in the unconscious
- 11:27pursuit towards 15% body fat, you eat less processed food, you
- 11:35eat less refined carbohydrates, and very quickly real food
- 11:42tastes better and fresh ingredients become more
- 11:47satisfying. Almost like your body naturally
- 11:52begins to prefer the things that fuel it best.
- 11:58And now think of the number 300. And as strength builds towards
- 12:06that £300 back squat, something deeper grows too, because
- 12:14strength changes posture. The stronger your body gets, the
- 12:21stronger your mind gets. Physical strength can be
- 12:27measured in the weight. Mental strength is measured in
- 12:31fortitude. Strength automatically changes
- 12:38your presence, strengths and signals to the nervous system
- 12:44that say you are capable, and you'll find that is the amount
- 12:56you squat increases, strength in all other parts of your body
- 13:02also increase. Don't be surprised that if you
- 13:07squat more, you clean more, you deadlift more, you press more,
- 13:17not because you have to, but just because your body wants to
- 13:23become stronger. And as the body becomes
- 13:27stronger, you begin to feel more capable in every area of life.
- 13:36Not just standing taller, but feeling more powerful, moving
- 13:41with certainty, feeling grounded.
- 13:46Because physical strength becomes a reminder of your
- 13:51progress, your power, even your purpose.
- 14:02But strength without insurance is not a full victory.
- 14:13So think of the number 2. Think of running toward that 2
- 14:21hour half marathon about stamina than speed, the ability to keep
- 14:30moving forward, step after step, breath after breath.
- 14:38And you may find that as endurance improves, your
- 14:45willingness to notice endurance improves in every other area of
- 14:50your life. Difficult tasks, building new
- 14:56habits, difficult goals. And the energy spreads into the
- 15:05rest of your life. More stamina for work, More
- 15:10stamina for relationships that are going through difficult
- 15:17moments, More stamina for adventure.
- 15:22Because endurance trains the mind to stay steady even when
- 15:27things become challenging. And the wonderful part is that
- 15:34these three numbers support each other.
- 15:40As you become leaner, you're carrying less weight when you
- 15:44run, and running improves recovery.
- 15:51Strength training improves resilience.
- 15:55The better you do in one area, the more able you are to
- 16:00influence the others. A balanced system. 15302 A clear
- 16:12focus, and as habits begin to align with this direction,
- 16:21perhaps something unusual, interesting, or magical begins
- 16:24to happen beyond the physical changes.
- 16:30Part of you already knows that when a person moves closer to
- 16:35their best version of themselves, confidence begins to
- 16:39grow naturally. Each work out completed, each
- 16:45run that goes a little further or faster, each decision that
- 16:50supports your body quietly sends a message to the mind.
- 16:58I'm reliable. I am dependable.
- 17:00I am someone who follows through.
- 17:02And what if that kind of self trust becomes the foundation of
- 17:12real mental freedom, of real confidence, the fragile
- 17:18confidence that depends on approval or validation, but the
- 17:25quiet, intrinsic confidence that comes from knowing that you are
- 17:30investing in yourself. And as confidence grows, self
- 17:38esteem strengthens too, because you begin to see yourself
- 17:43differently. Just someone with goals, but
- 17:50someone actively becoming the person that they respect, they
- 17:55admire. And that shift changes how you
- 17:59show up with others. Don't be surprised as while
- 18:04you're making progress, that your energy becomes calmer, more
- 18:11positive, more grounded, much more difficult to trigger, much
- 18:19more stable moods. Because when you feel strong and
- 18:24capable in your own body, there simply is less tension, less
- 18:30doubt, less insecurities and less need to prove anything.
- 18:37And what if that natural confidence makes you better
- 18:41energetically in your relationships?
- 18:45You become more mindful and present with the people you care
- 18:49about, more relaxed with friends, more engaged in
- 18:56conversations and more open to laughter and connection.
- 19:03Because when your body feels strong, when you notice the
- 19:09improvements in the mirror and your energy is high, you bring
- 19:14more of yourself into the moments that matter.
- 19:21And very subtly, unconsciously, other people naturally respond
- 19:26to that. They feel the steadiness, the
- 19:31vitality, the quiet confidence of someone who is becoming their
- 19:36very best self. And the wonderful part is that
- 19:41none of this needs to be forced. It simply happens as a side
- 19:48effect, a ripple effect of progress.
- 19:53And as the body becomes leaner, as strength grows, as endurance
- 20:00improves, confidence rises, self esteem strengthens, and your
- 20:10relationships and quality of life.
- 20:13Benefit naturally, and the mind can hold these numbers easily. 3
- 20:22numbers that represent direction, not perfection, just
- 20:27progress. 15302 Each workout, each meal, each run, quietly
- 20:43moving closer and with every step forward.
- 20:49Energy increases, vitality increases, freedom inside the
- 20:58body increases. Because the very best version of
- 21:03yourself is not something you wait for, it's something you
- 21:08build decision by decision, habit by habit, each choice and
- 21:17training session at a time. And the mind knows exactly where
- 21:23it is going. 15302 and hold that number in your mind, perhaps
- 21:35still seeing it on the surface of a lake as you allow yourself
- 21:39to float back to the present, taking a deep breath in through
- 21:44your nose and out through your nose.
- 21:49Wiggle your fingers, wiggle your toes.
- 21:50Connect and calibrate into the here and the now as I now count
- 21:55from 1:00 to 10:00 to awaken you starting to count. 123 waking up
- 22:03456 more alert 7-8 open your eyes.
- 22:08Open your eyes. 910 wide awake, wide awake, wide awake.
