- 0:11Speaker 4: Hello and welcome to the She's on the Money Radio
- 0:14Speaker 4: Show podcast, the podcast for millennials who want financial freedom.
- 0:18Speaker 3: Now Divine, Hello, what was the best purchase you made
- 0:22Speaker 3: this week?
- 0:23Speaker 1: My flights to go see all of my community members
- 0:26Speaker 1: around the country.
- 0:27Speaker 4: Okay, that was like not what I was expecting, but
- 0:29Speaker 4: it was a pretty good one.
- 0:30Speaker 1: Oh really, what were you expecting?
- 0:32Speaker 3: I don't know if you want to say it on
- 0:33Speaker 3: the podcast.
- 0:34Speaker 1: Oh, I'm sitting here with a frozen coke from seven
- 0:36Speaker 1: to eleven. I mean they've gone up in price, right,
- 0:38Speaker 1: so they've gone up to this was a large. Please
- 0:41Speaker 1: don't judge me for drinking a frozen coke so early
- 0:44Speaker 1: in the morning, but I promise I needed it and
- 0:46Speaker 1: I'd already had a coffee. So he's gone up to
- 0:48Speaker 1: a dollar fifty for a large. But look at this
- 0:51Speaker 1: sustainable packaging. Great, we love to see it.
- 0:53Speaker 3: You know something else we love to see? Or here
- 0:56Speaker 3: is this week's show?
- 0:57Speaker 1: Oh no, I want to ask you. We can do
- 0:59Speaker 1: whatever we want on this It's got our podcast to
- 1:01Speaker 1: do whatever you want.
- 1:02Speaker 3: And no one's here.
- 1:03Speaker 1: No one's here and like Mitch is a way six
- 1:04Speaker 1: so he can't tell us mel our producer, not here.
- 1:08Speaker 1: We are riding not solo with two peas in a
- 1:10Speaker 1: pod today. But what was your best purchase of the week?
- 1:13Speaker 3: Oh my god. So I am a massive Formula one fan,
- 1:17Speaker 3: as you know. I absolutely love it.
- 1:19Speaker 1: I'm wearing a Formula one T shirt right now. It's
- 1:21Speaker 1: not actually is that Tom Cruise.
- 1:23Speaker 4: It is Tom shirt with oh okay, no no no, no, no, no, no,
- 1:26Speaker 4: no no.
- 1:27Speaker 3: Put your okay, get back in the bin there for
- 1:29Speaker 3: a second.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Device right, you're going to put yourself in the bin.
- 1:31Speaker 1: There is a picture of Tom Cruise on your T.
- 1:33Speaker 4: Shirt because it is a cold Trickle T shirt, which
- 1:36Speaker 4: is the character Tom Cruise plays in the nineteen ninety
- 1:38Speaker 4: film supporting Days of Thunder.
- 1:40Speaker 1: Absolutely it's not Tom Cruise.
- 1:43Speaker 3: They don't care, mate, I do. I don't about your community.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Here is shirt it is on this show. It is
- 1:49Speaker 1: all about my community. So so sit down.
- 1:51Speaker 4: I absolutely love that little dropping into an AD's nest
- 1:55Speaker 4: and I did that.
- 1:56Speaker 1: On Oh I feel like people can bait me.
- 1:58Speaker 4: So nosolutely love the community. No, no, no, it's not actually
- 2:02Speaker 4: Tom Cruise because it's the character he plays, so technically
- 2:04Speaker 4: it's not. But the best purchase I bought was an
- 2:08Speaker 4: F one replica race suit.
- 2:10Speaker 1: IF one replica razuit. Do you know why he's saying that, Guys,
- 2:13Speaker 1: he's saying that because he owns the flipping company like
- 2:16Speaker 1: you own the company. And do you know what, I think?
- 2:19Speaker 1: It's genius. As if that's not the smartest thing you've
- 2:21Speaker 1: ever seen in your life, you can't tell me I
- 2:23Speaker 1: bought an F one replica.
- 2:25Speaker 3: Well, I didn't want to be that guy, but thank you.
- 2:27Speaker 1: So much, very but I am obsessed with it. I
- 2:29Speaker 1: can't wait. I've never been interested in racing.
- 2:32Speaker 3: Today I am fantastic.
- 2:33Speaker 1: You know what, I want my own race suit.
- 2:34Speaker 3: I'm going to get one with the divine next to you.
- 2:36Speaker 1: We could get she's on the money race suit, definitely.
- 2:39Speaker 1: We had Renee Gracie on the show last week. We'll
- 2:42Speaker 1: call her.
- 2:42Speaker 4: Don't worry about last week's show. Let's talk about this
- 2:44Speaker 4: week's show. We're going to give you some dupes. Is
- 2:47Speaker 4: there something that you've bought that you know I'm going
- 2:49Speaker 4: to pay the full price for the full promise.
- 2:51Speaker 1: There are so many, so many like even here, I'm
- 2:54Speaker 1: just thinking about it. Like I used to be obsessed
- 2:56Speaker 1: with this miscaap not that you care, but my community
- 2:59Speaker 1: might from Kevin or Coin, which is at Mecca. It's
- 3:02Speaker 1: like fifty dollar mescara up. But I'm obsessed with this mascara.
- 3:05Speaker 1: Every man in his dog has been gifted one from me.
- 3:08Speaker 1: I kid you not. And it's the extend lash from
- 3:11Speaker 1: MC beauty. Just at Wooli's.
- 3:13Speaker 3: Wow.
- 3:14Speaker 1: I buy it on sale for twelve bucks. Money win
- 3:16Speaker 1: ten out of ten. It's basically the same thing.
- 3:18Speaker 3: I mean.
- 3:18Speaker 1: They've also done entire dupes of basically everything Charlotte Tilbury.
- 3:22Speaker 1: And as much as I can't get behind blatantly ripping
- 3:25Speaker 1: off other businesses, I can get behind cheap cosmetics. So
- 3:29Speaker 1: I haven't bought all of that stuff. I don't want
- 3:31Speaker 1: to get behind it. But when I was looking for
- 3:33Speaker 1: a really nice mescara, that one worked. It was a Wooli's.
- 3:36Speaker 1: It was on sale for twelve bucks, and now it
- 3:38Speaker 1: is my staple.
- 3:39Speaker 3: Perfect and it looks amazing, all right. Plenty more.
- 3:41Speaker 4: We're also going to do Facebook Marketplace, Trash or Treasure
- 3:46Speaker 4: End as always some super amazing money saving tips to
- 3:50Speaker 4: keep more money in your bank account with a little
- 3:52Speaker 4: Super Saver Saturday, right, I.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Think it's genius. How about we get into it though,
- 3:56Speaker 1: let's do it feel like that was a wild ride.
- 3:58Speaker 4: It was the Shees on the Money Radio Show starts
- 4:00Speaker 4: all right now, it's She's on the Money Radio Show
- 4:03Speaker 4: for your Saturday morning with Australia's number one finance podcast
- 4:06Speaker 4: of Victoria Devine sitting over there. My name is travro Buck.
- 4:09Speaker 4: Mitch Surrey always sick this week, but that's okay.
- 4:12Speaker 3: We don't even need him because we're going to do this.
- 4:15Speaker 1: He's probably sitting in bed listening.
- 4:17Speaker 3: To us, crying into his like.
- 4:19Speaker 1: Yeah, obviously the only thing he could do if he
- 4:22Speaker 1: missed a show.
- 4:23Speaker 3: I was thinking, what would he be eating?
- 4:24Speaker 1: People should go and check his Instagram and see if
- 4:27Speaker 1: he's been posting.
- 4:27Speaker 3: One hundred percent. Yeah he would be as well.
- 4:29Speaker 1: Yeah, he'd be a little pest.
- 4:31Speaker 3: You're in trouble mate.
- 4:32Speaker 1: We've got to you at brunch.
- 4:33Speaker 4: I see you hey, coming up soon. We are going
- 4:36Speaker 4: to do a little Facebook market place trash or Treasure.
- 4:40Speaker 4: But the worst thing is, but it's always so hard
- 4:42Speaker 4: when you see these celebrities look an absolutely amazing vee
- 4:45Speaker 4: and they've always got the latest and most expensive things,
- 4:49Speaker 4: and it's like, how do I keep up with that?
- 4:51Speaker 1: It's actually about getting rich and then you get hot. Okay,
- 4:54Speaker 1: So we can't do that. So what we're going to
- 4:56Speaker 1: do is makes some recommendations on some good dupes of
- 4:59Speaker 1: products we love. But my favorite are dupes that are
- 5:02Speaker 1: like really comparable. Right, So I don't know if we're
- 5:05Speaker 1: going to get in trouble for this traber name dropping,
- 5:08Speaker 1: so hopefully we're not not sponsored, not sponsored, just good.
- 5:11Speaker 1: But one of my favorite lipsticks is the Charlotte Tilbury
- 5:14Speaker 1: Pillow Talk. It's kind of like a cult lipstick, right,
- 5:17Speaker 1: but it's really expensive. You get it at Mecca, and
- 5:20Speaker 1: to be honest, like I adore it, I have bought it,
- 5:22Speaker 1: I will probably buy it again. Every Man and his
- 5:25Speaker 1: dog looks good in this lips. Honestly, my dog looks beautiful.
- 5:30Speaker 3: Is that why Lucy's looking so beautiful today?
- 5:32Speaker 1: It's stunning today, all because of this lipstick. But I
- 5:36Speaker 1: have found a jube, or I think I've found a jupe.
- 5:38Speaker 1: I found it a chemist warehouse, So shout out to them.
- 5:41Speaker 1: Not sponsored, just good nine ninety nine. It is the
- 5:44Speaker 1: Flower Pedal put lip color in spiced petal. And you
- 5:48Speaker 1: know what, she goes in my handbag and I have
- 5:50Speaker 1: been saving my Charlotte tel brief a special occasions.
- 5:53Speaker 3: What's that Charlotte Teel re worth?
- 5:55Speaker 1: Oh like fifty bucks right minimum?
- 5:57Speaker 3: Jeez, Chemus's warehouse by five of them.
- 5:59Speaker 1: I've of them. One in your car, one in your handbag,
- 6:02Speaker 1: one in your other handbag, one at your desk. You're
- 6:04Speaker 1: gonna look caught twenty four.
- 6:05Speaker 3: To seven and spicy. It feels like I want to
- 6:06Speaker 3: eat that.
- 6:07Speaker 1: This is a personal tip just on you.
- 6:10Speaker 4: Well, I've actually got a tip. It's not makeup or
- 6:12Speaker 4: anything like that. But I love gaming, and I love
- 6:14Speaker 4: retro gaming. So like Nintendo's, your Super Nintendo's, and I
- 6:19Speaker 4: know your partner Steve O also loves things like that.
- 6:22Speaker 3: Yeah, you could go off.
- 6:23Speaker 4: And you could buy like a Norman Nintendo or like
- 6:25Speaker 4: a Super Nintendo or a Sega Mega Drive and they're
- 6:29Speaker 4: like three four hundred bucks at consoles still right, but
- 6:31Speaker 4: you probably still got heaps of old school games hanging
- 6:33Speaker 4: around the place. I randomly found this thing. Again, not
- 6:37Speaker 4: sponsored a retron So it's like retro with.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Our radio show is not big enough to have every
- 6:42Speaker 1: branded product in saying that we're trying to get there.
- 6:46Speaker 1: So if anybody's like, oh, we'd love to throw some
- 6:48Speaker 1: money at you for mentioning our product, we don't get
- 6:51Speaker 1: were still a game.
- 6:52Speaker 3: I mean, we don't even get paid to do this,
- 6:54Speaker 3: so it's fine, but no, we don't.
- 6:55Speaker 4: So you can basically play any Nintendo, any Oup, Nintendo,
- 7:01Speaker 4: or any Sega Mega Drive game that you have all
- 7:04Speaker 4: in one, so you don't have to worry about buying
- 7:06Speaker 4: three different consoles.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Why is this not more popular?
- 7:09Speaker 4: Well, and guessing that's because people don't even know they exist.
- 7:11Speaker 4: So again, it's called retron retro with an N on
- 7:13Speaker 4: the end.
- 7:14Speaker 1: But any like, we have very different types of recommendations.
- 7:17Speaker 1: Here my next recommendation. Kim Kardashian has a brand called Skims,
- 7:21Speaker 1: which is known for having lux quality T shirts and
- 7:25Speaker 1: like shape wear and like basic teas and stuff like that.
- 7:29Speaker 3: Yeah, I was gonna say, isn't that kind of like
- 7:30Speaker 3: spanks Kinder?
- 7:31Speaker 1: But they like do beautiful T shirts and stuff and
- 7:33Speaker 1: they've got a number of dresses that are kind of
- 7:35Speaker 1: cult status. Anyway, a T shirt is going to set
- 7:38Speaker 1: you back a minimum of ninety four dollars Australian watch. Yeah,
- 7:42Speaker 1: just playing T shirt. I've found the Jupe one. It
- 7:46Speaker 1: is at Surprey. Be you haven't set foot in a
- 7:48Speaker 1: Surprey for a very long time as a woman in
- 7:51Speaker 1: my thirties, I was embarrassed to do so, but I
- 7:54Speaker 1: was very, very glad I did because their lux Longline tea,
- 7:58Speaker 1: which will set you back a cool twenty, is basically identical.
- 8:01Speaker 4: So you're basically giving our listeners seventy four dollars.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Free stuff free wow, And it comes in the same colors,
- 8:08Speaker 1: and the fabric feels almost identical, like that buttery smooth. Anyway,
- 8:13Speaker 1: I hope you guys blame me for selling outs to Prey.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Not something that I ever thought I would say. But
- 8:19Speaker 1: I'm proud of that jupefind because I have a few
- 8:21Speaker 1: of them in my active wear wardrobe and I really
- 8:24Speaker 1: really like that.
- 8:24Speaker 3: And you are the most active person I know.
- 8:27Speaker 1: I'm absolutely not true. The only true part of this
- 8:29Speaker 1: story is that the T shirts are good.
- 8:31Speaker 4: Let's do this, let's throw it out there. Thirty one
- 8:33Speaker 4: A six five. What's your hot tip for a dupe?
- 8:37Speaker 2: Like?
- 8:37Speaker 3: What is something that you've bought Audi Audy Supermarkets?
- 8:40Speaker 1: Hands down? Everything on their shells amazing turn out of ten.
- 8:44Speaker 3: Just like that.
- 8:45Speaker 4: If there's something that you know that is literally a
- 8:47Speaker 4: fraction of the cost of the real thing but just
- 8:49Speaker 4: as good to even better, give us a call right now.
- 8:51Speaker 3: At thirty one A six five.
- 8:53Speaker 4: We were talking just beforehand, what's that cheap version of
- 8:56Speaker 4: a product that you found that's either just as good
- 8:58Speaker 4: or even better.
- 8:59Speaker 3: Now you'll talk in supermarkets.
- 9:01Speaker 1: All we did during that break was talk about the
- 9:03Speaker 1: snacks that you can get from Audi, and they're just better.
- 9:06Speaker 1: I'm not gonna lie obviously, I have been sponsored by
- 9:09Speaker 1: AUDI in the past. The only reason I accepted that
- 9:11Speaker 1: was because I was already obsessed with them. But I
- 9:14Speaker 1: genuinely think because like if you've been to an AUDI recently, yeah,
- 9:17Speaker 1: so they basically just have one of each product. There's
- 9:20Speaker 1: not like five different options for chop chip newsle bars, right,
- 9:23Speaker 1: there's just one option, and you know what's going to
- 9:25Speaker 1: be good because that's the one option that they decided
- 9:28Speaker 1: to put on the shelf.
- 9:29Speaker 3: You kind of feel like that you're over in Europe,
- 9:31Speaker 3: right because it feels.
- 9:32Speaker 1: Like you're a little bit European.
- 9:33Speaker 4: Yeah, you're like you're on a little European Vaca getaway.
- 9:36Speaker 3: It's amazing.
- 9:37Speaker 1: I love it. And one of the things that my
- 9:39Speaker 1: partner loves as well, obviously not real Niche recommendation is
- 9:43Speaker 1: the Tara Masalada. It's pink. It is a Greek dip
- 9:46Speaker 1: made of basically fish eggs. It's like a cavea dip.
- 9:49Speaker 1: But you can get it at Audi and he swears
- 9:51Speaker 1: that is the best one out there.
- 9:53Speaker 4: I'm literally just impressed that you nail the pronunciation of that.
- 9:57Speaker 1: I'm basically Greek, so watch out thought.
- 9:59Speaker 4: So mate, hey, we throw out there thirty one to six'.
- 10:01Speaker 4: Five what's the dupe that you? Found the thing that
- 10:04Speaker 4: is way cheaper than the original and probably? Better Celest
- 10:07Speaker 4: what did you?
- 10:08Speaker 3: Find?
- 10:08Speaker 2: Mate so my parents have such an amazing diceon stick.
- 10:12Speaker 2: Vacuum oh the.
- 10:13Speaker 1: Best i've got one of those ten out of ten
- 10:15Speaker 1: can recommend.
- 10:16Speaker 2: Which is amazing AND i love. It but it costs
- 10:19Speaker 2: like around twelve hundred dollars or something like, that AND
- 10:22Speaker 2: i just can't afford, it which is fair.
- 10:23Speaker 1: Enough so is a pretty big if let's be, honest
- 10:26Speaker 1: hoover up your.
- 10:27Speaker 2: Money so WHAT i DID i went To camar BECAUSE
- 10:30Speaker 2: i heard about this ninety nine dollars one which was.
- 10:33Speaker 1: Similar i've been talking about.
- 10:34Speaker 2: This it's the best thing. Ever i'm, obsessed and now
- 10:37Speaker 2: my parents even want to.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Borrow tell them to go get their own camarp. Vacuum
- 10:42Speaker 1: they can clearly afford the, disons so they can go
- 10:45Speaker 1: get their. VACUUM a vacuum you know what you?
- 10:47Speaker 4: Do so lest you actually hire it out to them
- 10:49Speaker 4: ten bucks each that you go, perfectly.
- 10:51Speaker 2: That's a good. IDEA i really like that.
- 10:52Speaker 3: One what is it, called by the, WAY i want
- 10:54Speaker 3: to go get.
- 10:54Speaker 2: THAT i don't.
- 10:55Speaker 3: KNOW i think it's something, stick The bryson. Stick. Wow,
- 11:00Speaker 3: hey thanks so.
- 11:00Speaker 2: Much lest noris legend all?

- 11:37Speaker 2: Mil?
- 11:38Speaker 5: What and is this plow By Ariana grande is only
- 11:42Speaker 5: fifty bucks for one hundred mil At Tamith.
- 11:44Speaker 2: Warehouse?
- 11:45Speaker 1: Oh is that on sale or is that just their standard?
- 11:47Speaker 5: Price, no that's what it costs all the.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Time that is a very good. Money. JEEZ a lot
- 11:52Speaker 1: of my girlfriends are obsessed with that perfume.
- 11:54Speaker 4: Track that's three hundred bucks. Less so IF i bought
- 11:58Speaker 4: that for, somebody do you, Reckon i'd be able to

- 18:08Speaker 1: Get to mine, first because that sounds like a way
- 18:10Speaker 1: better hook than. Mine, Look i've got the first things.
- 18:13Speaker 1: First it Is, october and In, october you guys don't know,
- 18:18Speaker 1: this my insurance premiums come into my inbox AND i
- 18:21Speaker 1: have to pay.
- 18:21Speaker 3: Them, NO i need.
- 18:22Speaker 1: THAT i Don't how did you know?
- 18:23Speaker 3: That because we all know to talk about that stuff
- 18:25Speaker 3: all the.
- 18:26Speaker 1: Time, ANYWAY i pay on an annual, basis and often
- 18:29Speaker 1: when your insurance premiums come, in you're, Like, okay no,
- 18:31Speaker 1: worries pay it or put it off and then pay
- 18:33Speaker 1: it a little. Later we all do. It but what
- 18:36Speaker 1: you shouldn't be. Doing and Maybe Budget direct aren't gonna
- 18:38Speaker 1: be too impressed with me with this. One But Budget
- 18:41Speaker 1: direct always want to save their consumers, money so they're
- 18:43Speaker 1: gonna love.
- 18:44Speaker 3: This.
- 18:44Speaker 1: Paul ask for a discount or review your insurances as
- 18:47Speaker 1: to whether you need that much. ANYMORE i am always
- 18:50Speaker 1: about negotiating because sometimes And Budget direct haven't done this to.
- 18:54Speaker 1: Me but another insurance That i've got has gone up
- 18:56Speaker 1: by two hundred. Bucks it's so much, money especially right
- 19:01Speaker 1: now WHILE i feel like the cost of living is already.
- 19:03Speaker 1: Insane took me two. MINUTES i called them and, said,
- 19:06Speaker 1: hey you just want to understand the increase in. Premium
- 19:09Speaker 1: and the woman on the phone was, like oh, YEAH
- 19:11Speaker 1: i was in cost of living AND i was, like,
- 19:12Speaker 1: LOOK i just don't THINK i can afford. It is
- 19:14Speaker 1: it anyway you could match last Year's and she was,
- 19:16Speaker 1: like let me put you through to our customer retention.
- 19:19Speaker 1: Team two minutes, LATER i was paying exactly WHAT i
- 19:22Speaker 1: paid last year for another whole year of.
- 19:24Speaker 4: COVER i think that most people don't understand if you
- 19:27Speaker 4: just call, them then that's what they're banking. On people
- 19:30Speaker 4: are just gonna cop it. Right but if you call,
- 19:32Speaker 4: them they give you a really good deal Like. Foxtel
- 19:34Speaker 4: like if you, go, HEY i don't want to pay this,
- 19:36Speaker 4: much they, go, oh, okay what do you want to?
- 19:38Speaker 1: Pay?
- 19:38Speaker 3: Yeah and AM i? Right three.
- 19:40Speaker 1: DOLLARS i feel like people feel bad calling as. Well
- 19:43Speaker 1: but like the THING i always try to remember Is
- 19:45Speaker 1: i'm not calling THE. Ceo, No i'm calling someone just
- 19:48Speaker 1: like me who happens to work in the call. Center
- 19:50Speaker 1: AND i, go hey, Mate they're, like, YEAH i totally get.
- 19:53Speaker 1: That let me put you through to someone who can.
- 19:55Speaker 1: Help SO i feel like there's two. Things ask but
- 19:57Speaker 1: also be kind because you know, what they've got the
- 20:00Speaker 1: power to, say, nah not stuff.
- 20:02Speaker 4: Exactly i'm always nice about. It but the good thing
- 20:04Speaker 4: is for the companies as. Well it's, like even if
- 20:06Speaker 4: you do pay a little bit, less you're going to
- 20:08Speaker 4: stick with that company for another five, Years whereas they
- 20:11Speaker 4: might get an extra Twohunred bucks out of, you but
- 20:13Speaker 4: you know, what you get to change and they're going
- 20:14Speaker 4: to lose the five years that.
- 20:15Speaker 1: You and customer attention is really. Important it's better than.
- 20:18Speaker 3: Acquisitions always say, that all, right.
- 20:20Speaker 1: Exactly so the next hot CHIP i have for, You,
- 20:23Speaker 1: Trav you're not gonna like because it involved doing a
- 20:25Speaker 1: bit more life. Admin BUT i, promise, promised, promise it
- 20:29Speaker 1: will save you. Money and that is so last week
- 20:32Speaker 1: we talked about that app that can save you money
- 20:34Speaker 1: via the, catalogs so.
- 20:35Speaker 3: Oh half five. SAPP i actually downloaded.
- 20:37Speaker 1: That, yeah ten out of ten. Recommendation but the other
- 20:40Speaker 1: THING i will recommend is literally basing your meal plan
- 20:44Speaker 1: on what is on sale in that app or in the.
- 20:47Speaker 1: Catalogs so last WEEK i put them to good use
- 20:51Speaker 1: AND i actually flipped through and realized there are a
- 20:53Speaker 1: few things THAT i like on. Sale so THEN i
- 20:55Speaker 1: based what we're having for dinner on what was on,
- 20:58Speaker 1: sale and we saved a few bucks on our grocery,
- 21:00Speaker 1: shop WHICH i think is, great amazing money. Win also
- 21:02Speaker 1: sneaky other tip WHICH i, love especially coming up to
- 21:05Speaker 1: This christmas. Season Their christmas one isn't out Yet coals

- 21:18Speaker 1: and so many good entertaining, meals which is SOMETHING i
- 21:21Speaker 1: always get stuck. With so literally last YEAR i was, like, oh,
- 21:25Speaker 1: yeah here's this spread THAT i created and everyone was like,
