- Jessica Figueroa: We are back, and today's is a little bit challenging. I will not lie, today is going to feel a little bit challenging, depending on you and your personality style. But just for today, we're going to invite someone over to our house. Gasp. Yes, they're going to come into our house. They may even have to use our bathroom. So why have we gotten away from inviting people into our homes? I don't know. So today we're gonna invite someone into our home. Maybe you're gonna make a plan and invite someone over for a meal or for a play day, or maybe you're just gonna ask a neighbor when you're out, hey Jim, will you come in for a second? Would you like a cup of tea? Get awkward, guys. Get out there and invite someone into your home. When we bring people into our homes, we are inviting community into our lives. And when we invite community into our lives, our hearts expand, our minds expand, our horizons expand, our empathy expands, we learn things. So just for today, we are gonna invite someone all the way in. Let's be safe out there while we do this, but we're gonna extend the invitation and invite someone to come in and sit down. You might end up with a stayer, you might end up with someone who refuses to sit down. That's okay. However it plays out. Let us know. I'm curious. I want to know how it went. Invite someone into your home to spend time with them inside your home. Don't worry about the size of your home, what it looks like. Maybe you put a lawn chair out. Nobody really cares. People and connections are about moments and time that we're spending together, not where we're spending them. And the home was always designed to be this beautiful place that we could spend time together. So just for today, I want you to invite someone to spend time with you. Inside your home. We got this. I'll see you tomorrow.
