  Anna Walsh was a 39 year old mother of three.

  She was the breadwinner in her home.

  She commuted from Cohasset, Mass, the Greater Boston area to

  Washington, DC where where she worked, had a home there.

  They had a, they had a rental down in Cohasset.

  Not a not a bad living situation in that little rental house.

  But anyway, she comes home for the Christmas holiday.

  She's a little late because of weather and she spent some time
• 3:17
  with with her Paramore up there. There was that.
• 3:21
  But then on January 1st of 2023, New Year's, New Year's Day,
• 3:29
  after a little New Year's Eve party with her husband, children
• 3:32
  and a family friend, she goes missing.
• 3:36
  She just goes missing. She has nowhere to be seen.
• 3:39
  And you know who was to be seen? Her husband, Brian.
• 3:46
  You know, my favorite picture is this one.

  OK. Her husband Brian, who was seen
• 3:54
  on video carting around plastic bags and throwing them away and
• 3:59
  dumpsters in various places around the Boston area.

  Of course, he was on home confinement because of federal
• 4:09
  charges against him. And that was one of the
• 4:12
  testimony, testimonies that were given today, was that he was out
• 4:17
  and about and he was not supposed to.
• 4:19
  And he said that, you know, he was just doing the normal
• 4:22
  things, not picking up kids, whatever.
• 4:25
  But anyway, not only was he found throwing away bits of
• 4:30
  evidence, but he was also found on video.
• 4:34
  He was seen on video buying suspicious things like, I don't
• 4:40
  know, 10 plastic buckets, A hacksaw, A hatchet hammer, a
• 4:48
  Tyvek suit. You know, like cleaning
• 4:51
  supplies. This guy, this guy, this guy.

  Anyway, after 8 days of of trial, a presentation basically
• 5:03
  mostly by the prosecution, I mean, we had the opening
• 5:05
  statement by the defense, but first eight days of the
• 5:08
  prosecution's case, they paraded out witness after witness after
• 5:14
  witness after witness to prove beyond a reasonable doubt in the
• 5:20
  minds of 12 jurors plus the alternates.
• 5:24
  Let's let's not let's get technical here that he killed
• 5:29
  her because as you guys know, nobody was ever found and then
• 5:36
  they arrested their case. So that leaves questions about
• 5:41
  what happens next. You know, the the defense is up.

  The defense is up. What are they going to do?

  14 year old girl who went missing out of Lake Elsinore,

  CA. She was apparently in a

  relationship with an older man, a man guy, going by the name of

  David. He is the, he's the, you know,

  David. Anthony Burke is a singer.

  Anyway, we've covered this case pretty extensively here.

  The investigation continues months after the 14 year old's

  remains were found in the trunk of a Tesla registered to David

  Burke in a tow yard in Hollywood.

  No rests have been made and authorities have not confirmed

  suspect. Late last month, the LA Times

  reported that a grand jury will hear evidence related to the

  case. On Tuesday, music executive

  reportedly testified, saying he didn't feel it was his job to

  contact officials. Uh huh.

  OK, this is the main thing. Is David a suspect on Wednesday?

  Today, LAPD Chief Jim McDonnell appeared on Good Day LA and

  declined to discuss details of the case, saying that doing so
• 8:31
  would jeopardize the investigation.

  When asked if David is a suspect, McDonnell suspect,
• 8:38
  McDonnell did not offer a response and explained the need
• 8:41
  to keep details of the case confidential for now.

  Quote, that's a case. I won't talk about it this time
• 8:46
  because it's an ongoing case. To do so would potentially
• 8:49
  jeopardize the case. There was some talk too about
• 8:52
  our request to keep the information confidential that
• 8:55
  the coroner was looking to release.

  And our goal there is not to impede transparency, except you

  did impede transparency, Sir. Oh.

  Our goal is not to do that. We obviously did not meet that
• 9:08
  goal, is what he meant. And then he continues.

  All of this will come out eventually anyway.

  And then we learned we read a little bit about his manager who

  TMZ testified before grand jury yesterday and that it was in the
• 9:27
  hallway outside the grand jury that he could be heard.

  You know, that's what TMZ is reporting.

  OK, next case. Oh, this this is actually about
• 9:38
  a week old guys. And we've talked about this on
• 9:43
  the channel Fact last Friday we had Elizabeth Jones from

  Hillbilly Crime on to talk about this.

  But I, I wanted to bring it up just because we still don't know
• 9:55
  when the bond hearing will be for Mickey Stein's in the case
• 10:02
  of the murder of Judge Kevin Mullins.

  Judge Mullins, if you'll remember, is a Kentucky District
• 10:09
  Judge who was shot to death by his sheriff.
• 10:12
  And some people describe him as friends in his chambers, shot 9
• 10:18
  times to death. And that, sheriff, is Mickey
• 10:24
  Stein's He. Is he is.
• 10:27
  Charged with the murder of Kevin Mullins.
• 10:30
  OK ex sheriff to get bond hearing more than a year after
• 10:34
  being charged with killing a Kentucky judge.
• 10:36
  And we we discussed most of this already but I wanted wanted to
• 10:44
  read here. Whether bond is justified for
• 10:48
  the former sheriff has been an ongoing issue.

  In August, defense attorneys recommended a $50,000 bond
• 10:56
  saying Stein's is not a flight risk and poses no danger to
• 10:59
  himself or the community. Of course, they are arguing that
• 11:05
  he is not guilty by legal insanity.
• 11:10
  So to be able to say that one is not a danger but is also or was
• 11:16
  legally insane, I find those two claims to be I, I guess, in
• 11:28
  conflict with one another. Let's see.

  Prosecutors have responded that Stein's is not entitled to a
• 11:36
  bond, citing a section of Kentucky's constitution that
• 11:39
  says the right to bail doesn't apply to people charged with a
• 11:42
  capital offense. An attorney for Steins didn't
• 11:46
  immediately return a phone call and e-mail Thursday asking.
• 11:49
  This was last week Again, comment on the judge's rulings.

  This man was arrested for her murder.

  Police say that he was the last person that was with her and

  according and with another. Couple of associates.

  Philadelphia City Council examines DV policies after Kata

  Council's Public Safety Committee held a hearing to

  address what leaders say is a pressing issue.

  DVA recent case that made big headlines was at the center of

  much of that conversation. The kidnapping and murder of

  Kata Scott. Several city officials brought

  up the case, questioning why the suspect was on the streets after

  he was accused of separate violent and threatening

  incidents. OK, that's the connection.

  Because there wasn't any DV with Katie Scott that I'm aware of.

  making the whole situation transparent, said Kevin Scott.

  The Philly PD responds to 100,000 DV calls each year.

  examine the strategies? It's the result of a resolution

  to examine the strategies, laws and policies for protecting

  that she was upset because she wanted him to take

  be over and she wanted him to be responsible, be accountable and

  do whatever he had to do to keep their family together.

  And what did she mean? What did she tell you that she

  meant by the word responsibility?

  Yeah, At that point in time, responsibility was potentially

  just taking jail time and admitting wrongdoing and just

  owning a mistake. And so that their family, that

  she would be waiting for them and that their family could be

  together. Did she give you specifics of

  what she had told you about the amount of time?

  I think it was all an estimate, but at the time she thought

  maybe a year. What did she tell you about the

  physical separation and her family staying together?

  Well, what did she tell you about being in different States

  and what that physical separation might mean?

  Yeah, that that it was really difficult for the family, but

  that also because of how difficult things were.

  She was contemplating what that could mean legally being able to

  take her children to Washington, DC, and also the physical
• 24:05
  separation from a husband was very difficult for her.

  What, if anything, did she tell you about having established a
• 24:14
  separate household? Oh, that.

  She had told me that everything was set up in her name, the
• 24:23
  house in Washington, DC and the bills where everything was in
• 24:27
  her name. So she she was trying to figure
• 24:30
  out a way that she could have the kids with her in DC.

  That's got to be tough as a mom, to be away from your children
• 24:41
  like that. It's going to be tough.

  What? If anything, did she tell you
• 24:44
  about her intimate relationship? Like I, I used to travel a lot.
• 24:49
  I used to be gone. It was usually about 10 days.
• 24:53
  No, it was usually about 20 days out of 30.

  And I did that for years just going all over the place.

  And I had and continue to have a partner in my spouse that is,
• 25:09
  well, she's the best mom ever, right?
• 25:11
  But it's still very difficult to be far away knowing that your
• 25:14
  children are growing up and they only see you a third of the
• 25:18
  time. And, you know, when and when I
• 25:21
  was home, I was at work too. So you know that that's tough
• 25:24
  for any parent. But I imagine with moms, it's
• 25:27
  probably even, I mean, it's way tougher anyway.
• 25:30
  OK, The question was about intimacy here.

  With Brian Walsh. She told me that, you know,
• 25:39
  aside from everything being really difficult, that they had
• 25:41
  not been intimate in a really long time, like maybe over a
• 25:45
  year, I think, she had said. And.

  What did she tell you as to why? She said it was because that
• 25:56
  Brian had been really depressed and that the strain of the case
• 26:01
  had really just taken a toll on his mental health and their
• 26:05
  marriage. And that she felt also that that
• 26:10
  her energy was being really drained.

  Yeah. Was she specific about what she
• 26:20
  meant by her energy being drained?

  Yeah. At that time, she was saying
• 26:26
  that Brian was calling her several times a day, that she
• 26:28
  felt physically and emotionally exhausted traveling back and
• 26:32
  forth from DC to Massachusetts. It was just a lot on her body,
• 26:38
  mind, soul and spirit. And that, yeah, that that that
• 26:44
  also just like emotionally feeling like she had to be the
• 26:47
  strong one was very draining for her.
• 26:50
  I just want to address this question.

  Yeah, the defense is going to call, well, what may call
