- 0:00Who's smoking cannabis?
- 0:01Because I had a lot of people that were police officers, that were surgeons, that were people
- 0:07in occupations that you not did not necessarily think were smoking weed on a daily basis, if at
- 0:15all.
- 0:15Hi.
- 0:16My name is Amanda Moser.
- 0:18I am a sexologist and cannabis researcher, and I published a nationwide study on how cannabis
- 0:24influences your sex.
- 0:26Males would actually have a more difficult time or actually an inability to achieve or maintain
- 0:34an erection.
- 0:35Out of eight eleven participants, we did have close to fiftyfifty male female.
- 0:43And the males were actually saying that cannabis made their sex better too and did not
- 0:50negatively impact their ability to achieve an erection, maintain an erection, or have an
- 0:56orgasm.
- 0:57Research will compare cannabis with alcohol.
- 1:02Alcohol research, it comes to the human sexuality world, shows that alcohol makes you
- 1:10make choices that you would not necessarily make specifically in sexual settings.
- 1:16Everyone's different.
- 1:18Everyone's body chemistry is different.
- 1:20Everyone reacts to cannabis differently.
- 1:23What might work for you and kind of where to start?
- 1:27But ultimately, there's not gonna be a one size fits all approach for this.
- 1:32You gotta take that maybe prior to your If you are smoking a joint, that hits a lot faster but
- 1:43also kinda leaves your system faster as well.
- 1:47Hey, everyone.
- 1:48Before we jump into today's episode, I wanna make sure that you know about my libido quiz at
- 1:55libidoquiz.com.
- 1:57This is a free quiz I developed to help you identify missing root causes of low libido.
- 2:05When you take this quiz, you will be then given, you'll be sent information specific to
- 2:10your quiz answers, including the top tasks that may help diagnose and figure out why you have
- 2:18low libido that your doctor may not be ordering for you, as well as additional tips and tricks
- 2:24to support healthy libido, desire, intimacy, and so much more.
- 2:29So you can find that at libidoquiz.com.
- 2:34Hey, everybody.
- 2:35Welcome back to the lounge.
- 2:37I'm so excited to bring Amanda Moser on to speak to you guys about her research.
- 2:44I got introduced to her by somebody you have heard from recently on the show, doctor Suzanne
- 2:49Mulfill, who is a cannabis researcher like Amanda.
- 2:53And I've learned that Amanda's research has gone on for many, many, many years now.
- 2:59So I wanted to get Amanda on this show too because we're gonna like to spell some myths.
- 3:03Like some of the things Amanda was telling me about ahead of time around the research around,
- 3:09hey, cannabis does not have to kill a man's sex drive.
- 3:13Cannabis does not have to be this thing that is making it difficult for a man to achieve
- 3:18erection and all these things that we heard from this research that's very old and very
- 3:23outdated.
- 3:24So we're gonna really talk about what's going on with the UpToDate research, the cool studies
- 3:29she's been doing, and why for both female and male alike, cannabis can be an amazing tool to
- 3:36bring into your your health and your sexual practices to really drive yourself to this
- 3:43point where you are experiencing pleasure and joy and connection and all the beautiful things
- 3:47about intimacy on healthy steroids.
- 3:50So welcome to the show, Amanda.
- 3:52Hi.
- 3:53Thank you for having me.
- 3:54Thanks for being here.
- 3:56So let's, you know, let's go back to like the origin story, right?
- 4:01So this is a pretty unique thing and and like myself being in, you know, the sex research
- 4:07research world, it's like some of these things we do are kinda taboo.
- 4:12It's like they're out of mainstream.
- 4:13It takes a lot more effort to get work into the world when we choose certain things.
- 4:19And you chose two things.
- 4:20You chose sexuality, which is already a tough topic, you know, with, you know, getting past
- 4:25censorship and all that.
- 4:27And then you chose cannabis, and you decided to take two of these really challenging things
- 4:32from a standpoint of getting this workout to the world, and combine them.
- 4:36So what was the motivation?
- 4:37How did you how'd you really get here?
- 4:40Yeah.
- 4:41So I remember being a young girl, and I'll never forget, my next door neighbor had a book
- 4:51that her mom got her.
- 4:53She was about two years older than me.
- 4:56So I haven't received such a book like this, but it was a book on puberty.
- 5:00And they had little drawings to kinda illustrate what's gonna happen, what's going
- 5:05on.
- 5:06And I always remember being really fascinated by this book.
- 5:12And I remember my friend showed it to me as like a joke, like, look what my mom got me,
- 5:17like could you believe And I I'll never forget, I remember being like, oh my, that's actually
- 5:22like really cool and I wanna know more about it.
- 5:24But when you're young, how do you tell anybody of like, I wanna know more about the most taboo
- 5:33topic that a child could bring up.
- 5:36So kinda started there, and then I really thought that it was just gonna be, I don't
- 5:43know, some sort of like side project.
- 5:45Like, I'm gonna grow up, I'm gonna have a big girl job, and then maybe on the side, I'll, I
- 5:51don't know, read a book or write a book on this really cool topic.
- 5:55And it wasn't until I got to college, and I took what was actually only an elective course,
- 6:01but it introduced me to the academic realm of human sexuality.
- 6:07And I I'll never forget.
- 6:08I at the end of class, I went up to the professor, and I was like, oh my god.
- 6:13This is a thing.
- 6:14This is something that I've had a secret interest in, and it was never in a sexualized
- 6:22thought process.
- 6:23It was always out of curiosity.
- 6:25It was always out of knowledge seeking.
- 6:28And after I talked to that professor, he truly took me under his wing to find out he's one of
- 6:34the a very prominent human sexuality professor.
- 6:39Of course, little me didn't know that at the time.
- 6:42Right?
- 6:43Obviously, it makes more sense now that we were, you know, using his textbooks that he had
- 6:48written for his class, and that how a lot of courses use his textbook for class.
- 6:53And so anyways, you know, and that's how I got into human sexuality, and then it wasn't until
- 6:59grad school, where I started thinking more about the scientific fields of cannabis, and
- 7:06this was another evolutionary moment for Amanda, because once again, I was in a place
- 7:13where I did not truly think that people didn't take that seriously.
- 7:18Right?
- 7:18Like people didn't research this.
- 7:21People didn't have a job that had anything to do with the science seeking knowledge based,
- 7:29you know, of this topic.
- 7:31And it it was once again like, oh my god.
- 7:34People are studying this.
- 7:36People are researching this, like actual professionals, not just like stoners on the
- 7:42street.
- 7:42Right?
- 7:43There were actually business professionals studying cannabis, and its benefits and uses.
- 7:49So I saw an island of cannabis science.
- 7:52I was on this island of human sexuality, and I was like, how can I make a bridge and combine
- 7:58the two?
- 7:59And that is how I did a nationwide study on how cannabis impacts your sex.
- 8:04So what was your I'm curious,
- 8:06what was your like hypothesis and thought going into this?
- 8:09Like did you was it an initial hypothesis of, oh, yeah, there's gonna be some level of help
- 8:16and support with human sexuality and support with intimacy?
- 8:20Do you think, especially based upon some of the earlier studies, did you think you would
- 8:24disprove that?
- 8:25Or what was kind of that initial, like hypothesis and thinking around that?
- 8:30So going into it, I knew anecdotally, keyword there, that cannabis can make your sex better.
- 8:41Word on the street said, you smoke a joint before having sex.
- 8:46It would be mind blowing.
- 8:49And then I tried to see if there was research on it, and there wasn't.
- 8:53And so someone had to step up to the plate to to scientifically see if cannabis does affect
- 9:02your sex, and if so, in which way positively or negatively.
- 9:07I was really hoping that word on the streets was correct, and I was really hoping that
- 9:11that's what I would find, because even as just a sexologist, I very much focused on sexual
- 9:17pleasure, and the orgasm inequality gap, and how we how women are not having as pleasurable
- 9:26sex, or having as many orgasms as our male counterparts.
- 9:30And I was out I was outraged.
- 9:32So Yeah.
- 9:33You know, I definitely come from a pleasure based background, and I was hoping that word on
- 9:40the street was was right, and that cannabis made sex better, and that's ultimately what I
- 9:45did find.
- 9:46So I'm curious, so is there anything that you found in your results that was completely
- 9:51shocking to you, that was just like a surprise result that you couldn't, you know, in some
- 9:56ways, couldn't have anticipated?
- 9:59Yeah.
- 9:59So the very limited research that I had to base my hypotheses off of and research questions
- 10:09were saying that males would actually have a more difficult time, or actually an inability
- 10:17to achieve or maintain an erection.
- 10:20So that's kind of what I predicted my studies to show as well.
- 10:24However, I was thoroughly impressed.
- 10:28I was surprised.
- 10:29I was happy to show that that is not necessarily the case.
- 10:34Out of 811 participants, we did have close to fifty fifty male female, and the males were
- 10:44actually saying that cannabis made their sex better too, and did not negatively impact their
- 10:51ability to achieve an erection, maintain an erection, or have an orgasm.
- 10:57Yeah.
- 10:57I think that's really gonna be surprising for a lot of people because I know there's, like, a
- 11:01ton of bloggers online and these sorts of things that are writing the opposite, probably
- 11:07based upon those earlier studies.
- 11:09So not saying that their information was quote unquote wrong, just that that's what happens in
- 11:14science.
- 11:14We get new studies out like yours, and it's like, oh, maybe we were not right about this.
- 11:18So I think that's gonna be a very surprising thing.
- 11:21And so offline, you had mentioned the masters in Johnson studies and, you know, the the
- 11:28masters in Johnson, it really, I think was like the foreground for what is even still being
- 11:34taught today in medical school about arousal and human sexuality is still rooted in their
- 11:40work.
- 11:41So can you tell us a little bit about their work and tell us a little bit about how the
- 11:47study that you did, did it did it like disprove any of the the earlier work from them at all?
- 11:54Yeah.
- 11:55So I knew from my human sexuality backgrounds that Masters and Johnson were, like you said,
- 12:02pioneers in what they discovered, what they found, and we are still using it today.
- 12:08I found it so instrumental for my research, because I took the Masters and Johnson
- 12:18framework.
- 12:19So looking at sexual desire, looking at orgasm.
- 12:24Right?
- 12:24And and seeing how cannabis influences each of those stages.
- 12:30And I broke it up into not just orgasm phase, but intensity of orgasm, the ability to orgasm,
- 12:37how many times you can orgasm, and see how cannabis affects that.
- 12:42So then I'm curious, like, did you because there's, you know, cannabis is such a wide
- 12:47world.
- 12:47Right?
- 12:48There's a zillion different types of strains.
- 12:50Like, they're always, like, cross, you know, pollinating them.
- 12:53So now there's even more strains every year that comes out.
- 12:56It's like this really, you know, artistic thing is this becoming.
- 13:00And beyond that, there's obviously a ton of different ways that we can ingest cannabis.
- 13:07So how did you in your studies, like like, actually, say include or not include certain
- 13:14strains, or you know, what was kind of the inclusion criteria around, you know, those
- 13:18types of things?
- 13:21Sure.
- 13:21So my research was a nationwide online survey.
- 13:26So you can kind of think a little bit about, you know, how I recruited, or maybe what the
- 13:33participants did for the research.
- 13:36For inclusion, you just had to be over 18 years old, and you just had to have used marijuana at
- 13:42least once, with or without sex involved.
- 13:45Because part of the Masters and Johnson framework, and a good thing a good way that I
- 13:53like to reframe it is it doesn't need to involve another person.
- 13:57So when you think of masturbation, your body's still going through that Masters and Johnson
- 14:03framework of desire and orgasm and resolution with or without somebody else there.
- 14:10So that's also why that was not a criteria.
- 14:13Yeah.
- 14:13So like, so I was just looking
- 14:14at like the strains, as well as, yeah.
- 14:18So then like, when you were, you did this survey, I'm curious, were people reporting on
- 14:23what strains they were using for the research?
- 14:25Or was it more just like, hey.
- 14:27Go out.
- 14:27Use cannabis.
- 14:28You know, answer these questions.
- 14:29Report back.
- 14:30And did your, you know, your research really find that no matter what type of cannabis
- 14:35people were using, that the majority found, you know, the the improvement in their arousal, and
- 14:41their orgasms, and their erections, and all those things?
- 14:45Yeah.
- 14:46So it's really hard to study specific strains, because strain called Northern Lights here in
- 14:55Denver, Colorado, is gonna be genetically different than a strain called Northern Lights
- 15:01in Oregon.
- 15:02So I did not wanna depend on strain type, and a lot of people don't know if they're smoking a
- 15:08sativa or an indica, because if you don't if you don't live in a legal cannabis state, then
- 15:15you're just getting weed from Joe Schmo down the road, and he might not always know if it's
- 15:21in indica or sativa.
- 15:23But what I did look at was, are you mostly smoking flour?
- 15:28Are you mostly smoking dabs?
- 15:30So specifically, I looked at forms and methods.
- 15:33Mhmm.
- 15:34The forms being the type of cannabis, flour, dabs, edible, etcetera.
- 15:38Method being, are you smoking it in a joint, in a pipe, in a brownie?
- 15:43What does that look like?
- 15:44And I can say that majority of participants did say that they smoked cannabis daily, that they
- 15:51smoked cannabis for both recreational and medicinal purposes, that they prefer flour, and
- 15:57that here's the big thing, is that it does not affect their sexual decision making.
- 16:05So a lot of times, research will compare cannabis with alcohol.
- 16:11Right.
- 16:11Alcohol research, when it comes to the human sexuality world, shows that alcohol makes you
- 16:19make choices that you would not necessarily make, specifically in sexual settings.
- 16:26Hey, everybody.
- 16:26Quick break out our episode to talk to you about our sponsor, MyLibidoDoc.

- 17:01So if you just go to mysexdoc.com, you will find that ebook there for download.
- 17:08Now back to our show.
- 17:10So for instance, you might not be worried about STIs or protection for that.
- 17:16Same with birth control.
- 17:18Right?
- 17:18Same with maybe who you are engaging with.
- 17:22That's for alcohol.
- 17:23And for cannabis, we have found that it does not affect their sexual decision making.
- 17:29They are still wearing condoms to protect against pregnancy or STIs.
- 17:34They are knowing who to, who they are having sex with.
- 17:38Right?
- 17:38They're not blacking out.
- 17:40And if anything, it was showing that they are having more increased intimacy with these
- 17:46sexual connections, instead of blackout drunk sex that was someone you don't even remember.
- 17:52That was not the case at all.
- 17:54That's a really, really, really cool finding that, you know, that people are going to be
- 18:00altered in the state, but be altered in a way that, hey, they're gonna make the same
- 18:04decisions whether or not they get high.
- 18:07You know?
- 18:07And I think that's a really important distinction.
- 18:09So then I hear you on most people who are using flour.
- 18:12Were you did you find that other methods of ingesting cannabis, like edibles or like
- 18:18dabbing, like you mentioned, were they still getting relatively the same results or just
- 18:22wasn't as many people using those methodologies?
- 18:25Or did you see any differentiation in the results depending upon, like, that type of
- 18:29delivery method?
- 18:35That data has not been published.
- 18:37Okay.
- 18:39Are you going to publish it, or who knows?
- 18:44You know, off the record, I have collected so much data that I, and from so many
- 18:52participants, that I could have so many, like, spin off studies from you.
- 18:58Right.
- 18:58Right?
- 18:59So, like, we at one point were talking about, let's just do a demographic, study on seeing
- 19:05who's smoking cannabis, because I had a lot of people that were police officers, that were
- 19:09surgeons, that were people in occupations that you not did not necessarily, think were smoking
- 19:17weed, on a daily basis, if at all.
- 19:20Right?
- 19:21There was another finding that we saw.
- 19:23We had a large population of just people over the 65.
- 19:30So we actually also talked about doing a spin off study on gerontology, and how cannabis
- 19:38affects that population.
- 19:41I can tell you that we looked at the different forms and methods, but none of it was
- 19:46scientifically significant Sure.
- 19:49To report on.
- 19:50Yeah.
- 19:51Yeah.
- 19:52And when I hear that, and, you know, for I think for our listeners, it's like to me that
- 19:56just says like, you know, this is something that you're interested in trying, then you can
- 20:01be open to the different ways of the delivery system, and see how they impact you.
- 20:06Because that's another thing that I've seen in the, you know, these various methodologies is
- 20:10they do affect each every individual's different.
- 20:13So, you know, my my hypothesis if you ran that data would be finding that, you know, one
- 20:18person say, oh, yeah, edibles work best for this.
- 20:20And another person's gonna say, oh, yeah, smoking a joint works best for this.
- 20:24That's my personal hypothesis because I just think we are so wired so differently and and
- 20:29medications affect us in a unique way.
- 20:32So that's what I would say to our listeners on that.
- 20:36Now Absolutely correct.
- 20:38Mean Yeah.
- 20:39When I talk to individuals or couples, whoever, on how can they utilize cannabis in the
- 20:48bedroom, with the best way.
- 20:50Right?
- 20:51Like, people come to me and say, what's what's the number one thing?
- 20:54And unfortunately, it does base on person to person.
- 20:58Everyone's different.
- 21:00Everyone's body chemistry different.
- 21:02Everyone reacts to cannabis differently.
- 21:05I can tell you that there are some tips and tricks for utilizing cannabis, and things that
- 21:11I have definitely, helped teach people on what might work for you, and kind of where to start.
- 21:19But ultimately, there's not gonna be a one size fits all approach for this.
- 21:23Yeah.
- 21:24That makes perfect sense to me.
- 21:26I wanna ask you, my next question is kinda grounded in one of the things I have talked
- 21:31about on this show before is the libido code.
- 21:35And the libido code, which you guys can find at libidocode.com, is a is a methodology of
- 21:42actually analyzing for what your unique turn odds and turn offs are.
- 21:47And one of the five different archetypes that when you take the libido code quiz that people
- 21:53will get is a send what I call a sensei.
- 21:56So the sensei is the the type of person that is really turned on by the five senses.
- 22:03So this is the type of person that, you know, might be making out, and they're gonna maybe
- 22:06interrupt the make out section to go put on their fur perfect music and get the light
- 22:11lighting right because not because they're trying to interrupt the moment, because they
- 22:15know so much that this is going to enhance their experience.
- 22:19Right?
- 22:20And so one of the things you had said offline, Amanda, was in some of your research that you
- 22:25had found that that there was an impact on the five senses, and it studied some about that.
- 22:31And so in my mind, I'm like, oh, this would be, you know, useful for everybody, but especially
- 22:35useful for those that have taken the libido code quiz and actually have realized that, oh,
- 22:41I'm a sensate.
- 22:43So can you tell us a little bit more about what you learned around cannabis and its impact on
- 22:48the five senses?
- 22:50Yeah.
- 22:50So my research looked at three main umbrellas, we can call them.
- 22:56So we looked at how cannabis affects your sexual functioning, how it affects your sexual
- 23:02satisfaction, and how it affects your sensuality.
- 23:06Because my thought process was was that you use your senses a lot during sex.
- 23:15And if that's the case, let's see how cannabis impacts that.
- 23:20So I found that cannabis positively increases your taste and your touch.
- 23:30Which, if you think about, I think are probably the two main senses that you might use during
- 23:37sex.
- 23:38So I thought this was really, really exciting, because if you think about it, if you are
- 23:44engaging in cannabis before sex, and your taste gets enhanced, well, you know, your partner
- 23:51might really like that, as well as you would too.
- 23:54And then same for touch.
- 23:56Like, people reported saying that when they are touched, it's a it's a lot more electrifying,
- 24:04and it feels more intimate, and there's more of that emotional connection.
- 24:08And so it's really exciting to show that cannabis does increase your taste and your
- 24:14touch.
- 24:15I'm curious too because I, you know, when I think about cannabis and pleasure.
- 24:19Right?
- 24:19I think that so many so much of the time with sex, especially for women, but but for men too,
- 24:25so much of the time though I think with sex, it's easy for the mind to wander.
- 24:30Right?
- 24:30Like and that's something people have heard me say repeatedly on this show is, like, the
- 24:34capacity to experience pleasure is related to the capacity to be present.
- 24:40And so it's so easy, right, for the mind and the busyness and the overwhelm of our first
- 24:45world life that we have here in The United States.
- 24:47It's so easy for the mind to, like, wander to the grocery list or whatever else that we
- 24:53really, really don't wanna be thinking about during our pleasure intimate moment.
- 24:56So did you, you know, did you study at all too?
- 25:00Because I'm thinking when, okay, we're experiencing that touch.
- 25:03Right?
- 25:04That tactile sensation and cannabis is helping with that.
- 25:07In my mind, one of the methodologies behind what could be happening there is that cannabis
- 25:13can help us maybe just be a little bit more present in the moment.
- 25:16So then that, like, that touch that was happening, our mind is more focused on that
- 25:21versus, hey, I'm all over the place.
- 25:23So did you do you think there's anything like that going on?
- 25:27Like, do you can you comment at all based upon what you've you've studied?
- 25:31Absolutely.
- 25:32I think that there are different components.
- 25:35I think there's a mental component, and then a physiological component that both could be
- 25:41potential answers to your question.
- 25:44For mentally, yes, I agree that I did have participants state that cannabis helps them be
- 25:52in the moment is the big quote that I kept seeing.
- 25:55They they feel like they are not absent minded.
- 25:59They are very much present right there in the moment.
- 26:03But then you look on a physiological level, and we also know that cannabis is a vasodilator.
- 26:11So with that, that could also theoretically maybe impact touch, and how it might feel a
- 26:17little more electrifying, but also why you might get more turned on with cannabis, because
- 26:24your genitals have, a lot of blood flow, and when you incorporate a vasodilator, that is,
- 26:32you know, that is best case scenario for a lot of people for ultimate pleasure and
- 26:37satisfaction.
- 26:38So there's different ways to look at it.
- 26:42And did you find anything as far as then timing?
- 26:44Because when you're bringing up vasodilator, then I'm like, oh, yeah.
- 26:47Great.
- 26:47That's like the blood flow you're saying.
- 26:48That's an erection for men.
- 26:50That's all the, you know, erogenous zones that we need blood flow as women too.
- 26:54So all of those are getting their circulation.
- 26:56Did you find that people reported that timing mattered at all?
- 27:00Like, oh, it's important to, you know, start doing this twenty minutes before we wanna be
- 27:05intimate, or was that not really part of it at all?
- 27:08The big thing with that is dependent on which form and or method you're using.
- 27:14Right?
- 27:14So if you are wanting to use an inedible to enhance your sexual pleasure, you gotta take
- 27:22that maybe an hour or two prior to your sexual engagement.
- 27:28If you are smoking a joint, that hits a lot faster, but also kinda leaves your system
- 27:35faster as well.
- 27:37But I also love to advocate for if both you and your partner want to use cannabis to enhance
- 27:44both of your sex, I I think it's a great time for foreplay to incorporate cannabis into the
- 27:51act foreplay.
- 27:52I think foreplay is so underrated, and more people need to be excited about foreplay
- 27:58instead of thinking of it as like a chore.
- 28:01And I really think that incorporating cannabis into your foreplay can really spice things up a
- 28:08little bit.
- 28:09Yeah.
- 28:09Yeah.
- 28:10It's I think foreplay is absolutely one of the most underrated parts about, and and even some
- 28:16of the surveys have shown that the average amount of time that women and men are having
- 28:22foreplay is between four to seven minutes, and that that the average amount of time that men
- 28:27want foreplay is eighteen minutes, and women want foreplay is nineteen minutes.
- 28:31So everybody is feeling like we're just not getting enough of, you know, of this of this
- 28:36foreplay.
- 28:37So I think it's a really good point.
- 28:39Is there anything that we have not covered today about your research, about everything
- 28:45that you're doing in, you know, with this research in the world, about your discoveries,
- 28:50that you feel like, oh, we've got to say this today.
- 28:53I can just do a quick recap on what we Sure.
- 28:57Just in case I missed anything.
- 28:59So I did find we're gonna start with sexual desire.
- 29:03That is, you know, how much you want sex.
- 29:06How how bad do you want it?
- 29:08Are you aroused?
- 29:09Are you gonna be aroused in the near future?
- 29:11And I did find that cannabis does increase your sexual desires, so you want to have sex more.
- 29:18It also increased your ability to orgasm.
- 29:22So achieving orgasm was much easier for a lot of people.
- 29:26And when you did orgasm, I found that cannabis actually increases that intensity.
- 29:32So not only are you more likely to orgasm, but when you do, it's gonna be much stronger, and a
- 29:38lot of people say full bodied.
- 29:40Then we also look at orgasm frequency.
- 29:43How many times are you able orgasm in one sit in one sitting, one sitting, I did find that
- 29:51cannabis does increase orgasm frequency.
- 29:54So people are having multiple orgasms, specifically women or those with vulvas.
- 30:00So also talking about how the sexual functioning, those stages and phases happen
- 30:07whether or not you're with a partner, and that did show with my results that you also have
- 30:12increased pleasure while masturbating.
- 30:15So that's great.
- 30:16We don't even need somebody else.
- 30:17We can have the same amount of pleasure just from ourselves.
- 30:22For males and erections, we did talk about how cannabis did not show any inability to achieve
- 30:30or maintain an erection, quite the opposite.
- 30:32They were able to have an erection, hold an erection, and orgasm with just as much
- 30:38intensity as women.
- 30:40Females did not necessarily have a change in lubrication.
- 30:45I was actually very surprised about this, because you think of cannabis as making you
- 30:51have cotton mouth, as the stoners like to say, or rye mouth.
- 30:56Right?
- 30:57So I thought, well, if cannabis makes your mouth dry, it might make me down dry, you know,
- 31:04it make me dry down there too.
- 31:08And that was not the case.
- 31:10So that was another thing that I was pleasantly surprised to see.
- 31:15Yeah.
- 31:16Thank you.
- 31:16Great synopsis and really great research.
- 31:19I really appreciate you bringing this to the world.
- 31:22Can we put a link to your study in the show notes?
- 31:24Is that is that possible?
- 31:26Amazing.
- 31:27Amazing.
- 31:27Yeah.
- 31:28We'll we'll put that, you guys, in the show notes study from Amanda so you guys can read
- 31:32through these, you know, all of these stats and all this information if you guys are
- 31:36interested.
- 31:37And thank you so much.
- 31:38Thank you so much for being here.
- 31:40Thank you for this amazing work you're doing in the world.
- 31:42It's I love when, like, old past research gets debunked and we get to, you know, be on top
- 31:48with the latest things, and think you did a really great job debunking those things and and
- 31:53looking at this.
- 31:53So thank you so much for all of that and for bringing this to us today.
- 31:57I really appreciate you.
- 31:58Thank you.
