  and the young Celeste Rivas Hernandez.

  The LA County Medical Examiner's Office has released their

  autopsy report. It's 26 pages long.

  It's very detailed. Lots of lots of information,

  lots of narrative. We're going to go through all

  that today. Special thanks to the public

  Celeste Rivas Hernandez from what is referred to as the

  Inland Empire in Southern California, Riverside County.

  I think she was from Lake Elsinore.

  She was described as a girl who had run away.
• 5:14
  It seems that it was habitual for her.
• 5:17
  She just, you know, having been a teenager myself, have an
• 5:23
  understanding and a parent of many teenagers.

  She seems to have gotten it in her mind a little bit early on
• 5:32
  the truth of the world. And that is the parents have
• 5:34
  very little control and the the healthy time to discover that is
• 5:40
  when you are a parent. Poor Celeste.

  And I'm not blaming her, man. She's a, she's a kid, right?

  She's a kiddo. She's doing the best that she
• 5:49
  can with the information she has and the maturity level that she
• 5:53
  had. But she was doing dangerous
• 5:58
  things and she became connected to this guy right here, Mr.

  David Anthony Burke. This is the most recent photo we

  have of Mr. Burke, his mug shot from the Los Angeles County.

  Mr. Burke is a singer and a bit of a talent when it comes to the
• 6:24
  musical arts. He also has a bit of a talent,
• 6:31
  according to police and prosecutors in the in the in the
• 6:39
  murdery arts. That wasn't that wasn't very

  delicate, but you know what I mean.

  He is charged with a murder and the continuous and prolonged
• 6:51
  essay because because this is YouTube, I have to say that of

  young Celeste and there are questions about the timeline it

  it may be that she was even younger when they be they began

  their relationship now when when she died, I think he was 20

  years old. So if we're doing the math, he

  was 18 ish, you know, 17 ish when when they met.

  And that's gross. OK, that's just gross.

  the bona fides to offer any type of diagnosis other than to say

  14 year old Celeste Rivas Hernandez has issued their first
• 9:53
  statement since Houston area singer David, whose legal name
• 9:56
  is David Burke, was charged with murder in the girl's death.

  The arrest came months after Rivas Hernandez's remains were
• 10:04
  discovered inside the trunk of a Tesla registered in Burke's name
• 10:08
  at a Hollywood tow yard. Because he is an idiot.

  That was on September 8th. Police were initially called to

  the scene after reports of a foul odor that was attracting

  flies. In a statement, Hernandez's

  family thanked investigators for their work on the case, saying

  their push for justice continues.

  The the criminal complaint which we looked at yesterday, I said

  April 23rd, right date of the examination was two days later,

  September the 10th. The medical examiner
• 18:06
  investigator was Karen Tapia. The deputy medical examiner was
• 18:11
  Doctor Ansel Nam, supervised by Doctor Grant Ho and assisted by
• 18:18
  forensic technician Daniel Garcia.

  The cause of death, multiple penetrating injuries.

  You know, I shared this on Patreon in my post yesterday

  That's one of the charges, one at, well, one of the special

  circumstances, lying in wait. I had hoped, I mean, I don't

  lying in wait, came up from behind and, you know,

  exanguinated her quickly so that her, her brain would just stop

  little less than two months later and approved by doctor

  grant the same day. OK, couple things we learn here.

  Penetrating wounds of the torso A right abdomen with injury to

  liver and B left chest with penetration of underlying

  intercostal space and cortical disruption of adjacent ribs.

  extremities. I, I think I had questions about

  that in my mind if it was just her arms, but then in the Texas
• 20:19
  court records, it said arms and legs.

  And so I was kind of, it's kind of equivocating and wrestling
• 20:24
  with myself on that. But now we know it's both her
• 20:28
  arms and her legs and then multiple additional skin defects
• 20:33
  and then see the separate toxicology report.

  OK, here is the summary and opinion narrative.

  Per medical examiner. Investigators report this 15
• 20:44
  year old female Celeste Abigail Rivas Hernandez was found
• 20:49
  dismembered in a state of decomposition inside of a car
• 20:53
  trunk on September 8th, 2025. Death was pronounced at the
• 20:58
  scene. Autopsy examination was limited
• 21:02
  by extensive post mortem changes.
• 21:05
  There are two penetrating wounds of the torso with smooth edges
• 21:09
  that may represent sharp force injuries.
• 21:13
  The wound on the upper abdomen penetrates the liver and the
• 21:17
  wound on the left chest penetrates one of the left
• 21:20
  intercostal spaces with disruption of the adjacent ribs
• 21:26
  cortical surfaces. The left lung appears intact.
• 21:32

  What are intercoastal spaces? Left chest.

  Let me just look at that. So, OK, it's the spaces between
• 22:20
  the ribs on each side of the chest.

  That's what I thought. OK, OK.

  The bilateral upper and lower extremities show full thickness
• 22:31
  Dismemberment. Both arms, both legs removed,
• 22:38
  multiple other skin and soft tissue defects are present
• 22:41
  without apparent associated internal injuries.
• 22:45
  The etiology of these defects is not clearly apparent due to
• 22:49
  severe post mortem changes. So the way I read that soft
• 22:54
  tissue defects could be could be sharp force injuries could be
• 22:57
  slices, but because of the severe decomposition of little
• 23:05
  Celestes poor little body, they can't really tell.
• 23:12
  Postmortem toxicology performed on liver tissue shows the
• 23:15
  presence of a low level of ethanol, which may be due to
• 23:20
  postmortem changes or ingestion and does not appear to be
• 23:24
  contributory to the cause of death.
• 23:27
  Ethanol in in the body could be alcohol was ingested and
• 23:36
  digested and, you know, turned into ethanol.
• 23:43
  Why am I, why am I blanking on the the right word here,
• 23:48
  metabolized into ethanol? Or it could just be the
• 23:53
  decomposition itself brings some of our tissues and some of the
• 24:00
  things in our body turn into ethanol and they're and the
• 24:04
  they're saying here, not sure where the ethanol came from.
• 24:10
  It could have been that she drank it could be that it's the
• 24:13
  decomp. Either way, doesn't really think
• 24:16
  doesn't really look like it contributed to her death in any
• 24:18
  way. And then continuing, given the
• 24:21
  history and circumstances is currently known by me in the
• 24:24
  setting of the findings by examination, ancillary studies
• 24:29
  and in the presence of other definitive causes of death.
• 24:34
  The cause of death is multiple penetrating injuries.
• 24:37
  The manner of death is classified as a homicide.
• 24:40
  OK. So yeah, I, I mean, it's always
• 24:48
  written like a medical opinion, right?
• 24:50
  So like they're basically saying, well, we've got severe
• 24:53
  decomp here. There aren't any other other
• 24:56
  definitive causes of death, but there are these puncture wounds,
• 24:59
  these penetrating injuries. So I'm calling the manner of
• 25:03
  death or the cause of death penetrating injuries.
• 25:06
  The manner of death is a homicide.
• 25:11
  OK, so we've got, you know, the decedent information here is
• 25:16
  female. They did a full examination.
• 25:21
  You know, as much as they could, right?
• 25:24
  So identification, evidence of traumatic injury, internal
• 25:29
  examination, the cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive system,
• 25:34
  the urinary tract, female reproductive tract, endocrine
• 25:37
  system, everything. They they did the full
• 25:41
  examination on the 10th of September.
• 25:45
  Looks like they did radiology. They did CT scans prior to doing
• 25:52
  the autopsy and says the CT scan reviewed and is consistent with
• 25:56
  the autopsy examination. Was there organ tissue donation?
• 26:00
  No Mortuary preparation? No.
• 26:06
  OK. Yeah.
• 26:09
  I mean, we've got time. External examination, You know,
• 26:13
  for her age, she's appropriate develop appropriately developed.
• 26:16
  She's Hispanic female. This is interesting.
• 26:19
  So she's 5 foot 2. The weight of her body at the
• 26:24
  examination was 71 lbs. Now I've seen reports saying
• 26:30
  wow, she was so light. Well she was decomposed.
• 26:35
  So you know how how much fluid I, I don't know how they like
• 26:43
  what was included in the weight. I, I imagine looking at photos
• 26:48
  of Celeste that she was heavier than 71 lbs at 5 foot 2.

  I don't think that she like had been starved or had been
• 26:56
  tortured or anything like that. Based on I, I just think that
• 27:01
  there was such severe decomposition that there were 71
• 27:07
  lbs left of her. Let's just no scars.

  There was a tattoo present on her second medial right finger
• 27:20
  with the text dot, dot dot and we're going to get into the
• 27:26
  finger that is disturbing. Hair is long black.

  Can't tell what her eye color is, can't tell about her
• 27:36
  sclerae, her conjunctive petechiae.

  You know, there's, there's just too much decomposition, you
• 27:47
  know, Petechier, non conjunctival.

  You can't tell like, you know, we would have to go back to I,
• 27:59
  I'm, I'm going to give you a trigger warning on this.

  discuss some forensic stuff. Again, I am a lay person, but if

  Matthew Gruwell, who is a, he's an entomologist and a geneticist

  and a genomicist, genomicist, genomicist, professor of
• 28:35
  genetics genomics at Penn State Baron here in the Commonwealth

  of Pennsylvania. He's a friend of mine.

  And back during the Gabby Petito situation, him being a bug

  expert, he talked about, and he teaches forensics as well,
• 28:52
  forensics classes. He, he talked about what happens
• 28:56
  with, with bugs specifically. And the, the ugly part of it is

  that bugs find the softest, easiest way in to, in this case,
• 29:11
  dead human remains, right? They're attracted to it.

  They find their way to it, then they find the way in.
• 29:17
  So how do they find their way in?
• 29:19
  Well, eyes, nose, mouth, ears, anus, you know, vaginal cavity,
• 29:28
  urethra, you know, that's where it goes.
• 29:32
  So it's not surprising to me that they that I mean, that is,
• 29:37
  that is the part that is going to be attacked first by the
• 29:40
  little creepy crawlies that help in the decomposition of our
• 29:43
