- 0:05Welcome to The Hypnotist, the show that gives you inside
- 0:09access to cutting edge hypnosis with real clients facing
- 0:12genuine. Issues.
- 0:13Brought to you by the hypnotherapist, demanded by
- 0:16celebrities, CEOs and even royalty, Adam Cox.
- 0:20These recordings took place live from Evans Clinic in London's
- 0:24world famous Harley Street, so get yourself comfortable and
- 0:31enjoy today's episode of The Hypnotist.
- 0:39Hi, Adam here. And you're going to be listening
- 0:42to a longer deep sleep hypnosis session.
- 0:46And the original client that I was working with had a
- 0:49background of very traumatic, unpleasant experiences that was
- 0:54affecting their sleep. So this is a hypnosis session
- 0:58really, to leave the past behind, extract the wisdom and
- 1:01give them the feeling of being a hero in their story, rather than
- 1:06a victim or someone on the receiving end of someone
- 1:10unpleasant. And if you think of the hero's
- 1:12journey, quite often towards the end of any kind of heroic book
- 1:17or film, quite often the hero meets their nemesis.
- 1:21And that's normally a test of whatever transformation they've
- 1:25gone through, that it has to be tested.
- 1:28And if they can continue on their journey and overcome the
- 1:31adversity when they meet their nemesis, that's normally the end
- 1:35of the story arc where they move forward in life with that
- 1:40change. So the hero's journey is
- 1:42utilized in this particular hypnosis session, but also it
- 1:47has certain fairy tale elements of this in the sense of levels
- 1:52of disassociation. So finding a place in nature
- 1:55with a bed and then dreaming that they're in an enchanted
- 1:58forest and then there's a way of sleeping there.
- 2:00So it's levels of disassociation, certain
- 2:03acceptance and commitment therapy.
- 2:05But this particular one has an hour of theater wave relaxing
- 2:10music after the hypnosis finishes.
- 2:13It also doesn't have the outro, the music outro at the end.
- 2:17So if you like hypnosis to really drift off to sleep with,
- 2:22this really helps to awaken the hero within you.
- 2:26And it's 90 minutes of hypnosis. So 30 minutes of hypnosis and 60
- 2:31minutes of very relaxing feet away of music to really help you
- 2:36drift off into sleep. So if you like listening to this
- 2:40stuff before you go to bed, this will be a good one.
- 2:44In the description, I've also got a gift for you and that is
- 2:4722 different hypnosis downloads that you can get absolutely
- 2:51free. And on my Shopify store, I
- 2:54normally sell these downloads for £10 or about $13 each.
- 2:58But in the description you can get 22 hypnosis downloads
- 3:01completely free. So if you like my stuff, but you
- 3:04don't want to be listening to the intro and the outro and all
- 3:07the explanations, you just want to get straight to the hypnosis,
- 3:10click the link in the description and you'll be able
- 3:12to download those 22 hypnosis downloads completely free of
- 3:16charge. For now though, find a quiet,
- 3:20comfortable place where you won't be disturbed.
- 3:22Relax and enjoy the session. Take a deep breath in and as you
- 3:50breathe in, breathe in that resourceful feeling of calm and
- 3:55relaxation, and then release that breath.
- 3:59And as you release the breath, that's it.
- 4:01Close your eyes and as your eyes closed, feel a wonderful sense
- 4:09of release, just like tension that you've been holding onto.
- 4:17You're able to let go. That's it, breathing in deeper
- 4:27and exhaling for longer. As you breathe in and breathe
- 4:37out, scan your body for any signs of tension, and that may
- 4:47be a tightness in the jaw or a sensation in the neck or the
- 4:52shoulders, but allow that to be the Canary in the coal mine.
- 5:00There's nothing you need to do other than notice that as you
- 5:06breathe in that resourceful feeling of relaxation, allow
- 5:11yourself to sense that you're releasing tension.
- 5:18And maybe you notice some of those signs of tension changing.
- 5:27Maybe your breathing gets deeper.
- 5:33Muscles or tendons that were tense start to loosen.
- 5:39Your eyelids might get heavier, or maybe there's the thought,
- 5:45the sensation, the feeling to yawn.
- 5:50Just allow yourself to notice whatever you notice as your mind
- 6:00takes you deeper and deeper into a place of wonderful relaxation.
- 6:16The deeper you breathe, the more relaxed you become, and the more
- 6:21relaxed you become, the deeper you breathe.
- 6:27And as your body starts to relax more and more, your imagination
- 6:33awakens. And I want you to imagine a
- 6:39place of pure relaxation, place out in nature, perhaps near a
- 6:48body of water, a place where you would feel the sensation of a
- 6:54gentle breeze or the sunshine on your skin, or see unique
- 7:04animals, kind of animal that can glide, kind of animals that
- 7:14represent equality. And I want you to imagine in
- 7:21this place for some reason. I want you to imagine the most
- 7:30comfortable bed you've ever seen, and the logical part of
- 7:36your mind is wondering why would there be a bed in this place in
- 7:45nature? But this is not reality and
- 7:53therefore logic isn't necessary. I want you to imagine what it
- 8:01would feel like to be wearing the kind of clothing that you
- 8:06could drift off into a deep, rejuvenating sleep.
- 8:16I want you to imagine standing near to that bed, but I want you
- 8:23to see that there is a rope trapped around your waist and
- 8:29attached to a nearby tree. I want you to get a sandstone.
- 8:38The tree represents your past, and the bed represents a feeling
- 8:50that it's finally time to let go of that past, to retain all the
- 8:57wisdom, but to break the tether of any emotions that are holding
- 9:06you back, holding you back in your sleep, in your work, in.
- 9:12Your life and. I want you to come to a
- 9:18conclusion. The rope around your waist stops
- 9:27you reaching that comfortable bed.
- 9:32And I want you to see, These scissors represent a
- 9:51decision to let go of the past, to retain the wisdom, but let go
- 10:00of the pain and the associations, and you can remain
- 10:10tethered to the tree knowing that you can't access the bed.
- 10:16Or you. Could use these gold jewel
- 10:23encrusted scissors to Cut the Rope as you consider this a
- 10:39psychological form of cord cutting enabling you to really
- 10:48enjoy that. Restful sleep moving.
- 10:54On from your past does not mean forgetting it, it just means not
- 11:00being attached to it anymore. Any pain, any trauma remains in
- 11:09the past. And if you're willing to Cut the
- 11:11Rope, let me know about nodding your head.
- 11:16That's it. So imagine using those gold
- 11:21scissors to cut the thick rope. And because it's not a string or
- 11:28a ribbon, you can't do it in one go.
- 11:30But you are determined. You keep gnawing away at that
- 11:37rope with the gold scissors, feeling a sense that this
- 11:46represents liberation, freedom, a real sense of justice.
- 11:57It is not just for you to be living in the future while still
- 12:03attached to the past. Justice is to be free of the
- 12:10past, not tethered to it. So cut away at that rope until
- 12:18it just falls down to the ground.
- 12:23And when you feel that you are free from the attachment to the
- 12:29past, let me know by nodding your head.
- 12:33That's it. And feel a sense of freedom,
- 12:38liberation, empowerment as you then walk towards that comfy
- 12:45bed, placing your head on the pillow and feeling your body
- 12:52sink into the mattress, still out there in nature, but feeling
- 12:58that now is the time to really rest, to relax, to really allow
- 13:09yourself to let go of the past and embrace.
- 13:16The future continue. To breathe in relaxation and
- 13:30continue to exhale any tension and just allow yourself to feel
- 13:40your whole body relaxing deeper and deeper, relaxed eyelids
- 13:49getting heavier and heavier. You may even notice that your
- 13:54pulse or heart rate feels like it's slowing down.
- 14:01Because right now is your time. A time to heal, to rest, and to
- 14:11reconnect with who you truly are.
- 14:20I want you to imagine drifting off to sleep in this comfy,
- 14:26relaxing bed, That bed in nature, breathing in fresh air.
- 14:34And I wonder if you could imagine what it would be like to
- 14:39be dreaming about a forest. And the forest is just as the.
- 14:48Sunsets, maybe? You could imagine seeing the low
- 15:01hanging moon and as the sunsets the moon gets brighter and there
- 15:09is a path in this forest. A path that feels safe,
- 15:17connected to nature and welcoming.
- 15:23And each step you take on the path, notice how you feel safer,
- 15:32more grounded, more. At Peace and.
- 15:42Maybe you could imagine glowing creatures and they could be
- 15:50fireflies or small fairies. Allow your imagination to
- 15:55decide, but these tiny glowing lights guide you deeper into
- 16:03this enchanted world. And with each breath, another
- 16:10light appears. And with each glowing light,
- 16:17feel that another level of stress, anxiety, or injustice
- 16:25starts to feel like it's leaving your body, enabling you to drift
- 16:32deeper and and deeper, relaxed. That's it.
- 16:38And what if the path in the forest takes you to a clearing?
- 16:49A moonlit clearing in the enchanted forest.
- 16:56A perfect place to just pause. And I want you to imagine now
- 17:08there is an enchanted bed there in the clearing, a magical bed.
- 17:16And imagine lying on that enchanted magical bed there in
- 17:22the forest clearing, feeling like you're being held by the
- 17:27earth and protected by the stars and moonlight above.
- 17:36And allow those fairy or Firefly light that is dancing around
- 17:42you, lighting up the space feel like they're small, gentle
- 17:49guardians. Each light carries a message.
- 17:55You are safe now. You have made it through.
- 18:04You are stronger than you know. But imagine being the observer,
- 18:33perhaps, of something that was dark and undesirable, The kind
- 18:42of thing that's like a black hole and draws people in.
- 18:48The kind of thing that many people never escape.
- 18:53But I want you to see that you did, and you can consider this
- 19:03some form of test, trial or challenge.
- 19:08But when you face that test and that trial, not just in body but
- 19:19in spirit and fortitude, I want you to see and observe that hero
- 19:30within you. Every hero meets their nemesis,
- 19:42where their qualities and characteristics are tested, and
- 19:48the hero never leaves that challenge unscathed, but they do
- 19:55leave transformed. It's what if that traumatic
- 20:02time? Was the moment you faced your
- 20:06nemesis, the shadow that every hero must face, with the
- 20:16intention to undo you, to submit you, to draw you back in?
- 20:25And yet you found your way out. Out of the trap, out of the
- 20:33fear, out of the narrative that others try to write for you.
- 20:44And what if, in doing so, you became more than who you were?
- 20:53What if you became who you were meant to be?
- 20:58A part. Of you could have believed that
- 21:06you were like that character Sisyphus, endlessly pushing the
- 21:11same stone uphill. But that's not the case.
- 21:19Not only did you reach the summit, but you reached the
- 21:25summit stronger. For you to be Sisyphus would
- 21:34have meant going all the way back, and yet you didn't.
- 21:41You moved forward. I want you to get a sense that
- 21:48everything you've been through, especially those things that
- 21:54were unfair, unjust, unwanted, contributed to a level of
- 22:04resilience, strength and determination and unleashed a
- 22:11strong sense of justice. A sense of clarity as to what is
- 22:19right and also what it is that you want.
- 22:27And the world may have tried to chain you to the past, but you
- 22:35chose freedom. You've come through trials and
- 22:44tribulations. And what if life is constantly
- 22:52giving you these tests, not to hold you back, but to help you
- 23:00evolve? And what if this current test is
- 23:09not a test of survival but of self worth, of tenacity and
- 23:16determination, A promise unkempt, a mirage that always
- 23:25moves systems, processes designed to break and question.
- 23:38And yet you see it, you name it, and you feel it as injustice.
- 23:53But what if that feeling, perhaps frustration or anger,
- 24:02restlessness, is the very thing that makes every superhero who
- 24:10they are? A superhero sees the injustice
- 24:19and aims to use their resources to make a difference.
- 24:36and I want you to get a sense that the more resourceful you
- 24:39are, the more able you are to navigate, mitigate, perhaps even
- 24:49change. That injustice the.
- 24:56Very fact that it bothers you proves that your values are
- 25:01alive and well. You care.
- 25:07You believe in fairness. And what if you can turn that
- 25:15feeling of injustice into power? Allow your mind, body and
- 25:28emotions to rest in that enchanted forest as you realize
- 25:35you are no longer the you from your past.
- 25:43You are not that vulnerable, frightened version of yourself,
- 25:49and you are certainly not the victim in this story.
- 25:55From this point onwards, you are the author, You decide the
- 26:01narrative, you get to write all of those remaining chapters.
- 26:10And I wonder what would happen if you gave yourself permission
- 26:21to really sleep well, to allow your body to sleep safely, fully
- 26:35relaxed? What if you sleep as someone
- 26:41wiser, someone safer, someone free?
- 26:51Because you have clarity now, you have boundaries now,
- 26:58connections now you have a voice.
- 27:04And even if work feels like a battlefield or another game, you
- 27:12know who you are. And you are not a pawn in this
- 27:21chess game. You are not overlooked or
- 27:27unworthy. You are the one that makes the
- 27:33moves feel that resourcefulness rising up as you come to the
- 27:42conclusion that the better you sleep, the more resourceful you
- 27:47can be, the more you're able to allow your body emotions to
- 27:56recalibrate, reset, to enable you to be the healthiest,
- 28:02happiest, resourceful version of you. they don't hold you down.
- 28:18They help you rise up. They fuel you.
- 28:25Soon as you finally feel that, you can let go of the pain of
- 28:29the past, the stresses of the present, and the anxiety of the
- 28:36future. Allow it all to just let go.
- 28:43Right now there is nothing to do so you can let go of any of
- 28:48those thoughts of work and meetings, bosses and promotions.
- 28:54Just allow it all to melt away because you have trained at
- 29:02altitude, you have faced real adversity and come out the other
- 29:09side. The strongest swords and Shields
- 29:19faced the. Fiercest furnaces so.
- 29:31Harness that resilience and allow each breath to take you
- 29:36deeper. Each exhale releases even more,
- 29:44and your bed becomes a cocoon, a sacred chamber, an enchanted
- 29:55clearing where your mind heals, your heart restores and your
- 30:03soul expands as you give yourself permission to allow
- 30:10sleep to become your sanctuary, your safe space, A space of
- 30:17peace, of renewal, and of profound evolution and
- 30:24transformation. And the deeper you drift, the
- 30:29more you realise you've never been this strong, this wise,
- 30:37this secure and this whole before.
- 30:43Soon as you allow any remaining thoughts of the day to melt away
- 30:49like leaves falling from a forest tree.
- 30:54Here and now, there is nothing to fix, nothing to prove and
- 31:01nothing to change. You are safe, you are whole, you
- 31:07are enough as you drift deeper now into the deepest, most
- 31:15peaceful sleep, acknowledging that you are the hero, not the
- 31:22victim. So drift deeper now.
- 31:30And if you're listening to this at a time where you're ready to
- 31:33sleep, when I count from one to 10, it will simply take you
- 31:38deeper asleep. But if you're listening to this
- 31:43where you want to awaken, when I count from 1:00 to 10:00, you
- 31:47will awaken. And if you choose to sleep, you
- 31:52will awaken refreshed and rejuvenated at the appropriate
- 31:57time to awaken. That's it.
- 32:03Still there in the Enchanted Forest, starting to count 123,
- 32:14456, 789 and 10. I.
- 1:00:55Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:20:55Yeah.
