I didn't open my clinic because I had a brilliant business plan.

I opened it because I had enough.

I was working in an environment where I increasingly felt business decisions were colliding with what I believed was best for patients. At the same time, my ER career looked successful from the outside—but I was rarely home, deeply unfulfilled, and beginning to question whether this was how I wanted to practice medicine for the rest of my life.

So I made a decision that did not make sense to everybody around me.

I walked away from stability and opened my own clinic.
