Transcript
- 0:01Well, more documents have come to light, Documents, videos,
- 0:06photos. So much has come to light.
- 0:09And I have to shout out Paula from Plunder True Crime because
- 0:13she is the one, to my knowledge, who put it all out there.
- 0:17And of course, the case that we're talking about is ADV Case
- 0:23alleged to involve Jonathan Lee Riches, who runs the YouTube
- 0:29channel JLR Investigates. Now, before we get deep into
- 0:34this, I've already noticed I've seen comments, I've seen
- 0:37comments. And I guys, I want to read
- 0:40comments. I want to read comments, but I
- 0:43follow the advice of so many people who are successful on
- 0:47YouTube who tell me don't, don't read comments, but I have.
- 0:53And there there's so many people that are like, why you picking
- 0:58on JLR? Stay in your lane, stay in your
- 1:01lane. It's none of your business.
- 1:03And to that I say reporting on true crime is my actual
- 1:08business. So we're going to talk about
- 1:13this. We're going to talk about it.
- 1:16It's not to pile on, man. It's because I take this stuff
- 1:19very seriously. And I also understand that these
- 1:22are just allegations, right? Totally get it.
- 1:26So we're going to do the responsible thing.
- 1:28We're going to report on what is out there.
- 1:30We're going to talk about it. We're going to make sure that
- 1:35everybody knows that he's not been convicted.
- 1:37He hasn't even been charged. These are only allegations to my
- 1:40knowledge anyway. OK, so we're going to get into
- 1:44that. We've got a fun little thing
- 1:46that we're going to do today on the show that I've never done
- 1:50before hand. Look at the description below.
- 1:53We're going to talk about JLR investigates.
- 1:56We're going to do some three questions.
- 1:57We're going to get into true crime headlines.
- 2:00We've got some fun good news because I'd like to end the show
- 2:04on a positive note. We got a 10 gallon show to put
- 2:08into a 5 gallon program. Did I say that right, Javi?
- 2:13You might have to edit that one out.
- 2:14We got 10 gallons of show to put.
- 2:17We got 10 gallons. We got 10 gallons.
- 2:20How does it go? We got 10 gallons of content to
- 2:23put into 5 gallon show. Stick with me.
- 2:37This video contains mature themes and discussions intended
- 2:41only for adult audiences. Viewer discretion is advised.
- 2:47Hello there, my friend. Welcome back to another true
- 2:49crime conversation with me, Gavin Fish.
- 2:52Thank you so much for being here.
- 2:54Thanks for tuning in. Wherever you are watching or
- 2:56listening from, be sure to put it in the comments.
- 2:59If you're live on YouTube, put in the live chat.
- 3:01That's that. That's probably my favorite part
- 3:03of this whole conversation. I'd like to know where you guys
- 3:06are from where you at? I know I'm not supposed to
- 3:09dangle that there. Where are you?
- 3:10That's where I'm, that's how I'm so sad.
- 3:12I I like to know and brownie points, special kudo brownie
- 3:17points, if you can tell me in a creative way without totally
- 3:22stumping me. And here's the thing.
- 3:24I'm not really that good at geography and I'm not really all
- 3:29that good at talking neither. No, but we will be checking in
- 3:33on your comments throughout the throughout the program.
- 3:37So definitely tell me where you are coming from.
- 3:40What are we talking about guys? On Christmas of 2025, it came to
- 3:48light later, of course, but on Christmas of 2025, the man that
- 3:53you're looking at on the screen right here, guy named JLR, well,
- 3:56Jonathan Lee Rich is, he owns, owns, I don't know, he runs a
- 4:02YouTube channel called JLR Investigates.
- 4:05You can see that on his fancy hat right there.
- 4:09Got into a domestic they say in the business with his then
- 4:16domestic partner a woman named Jamie Phillips also known as
- 4:22Magnolia. It appears she was known as
- 4:25Magnolia to it wasn't just a screen name.
- 4:28It appears that she's known by Magnolia.
- 4:33Her name is Jamie Phillips. She alleges that he got physical
- 4:40with her and DV Ed her, you know, in a hotel room that they
- 4:47were staying at in Washington state.
- 4:51And then the story goes he fled the scene.
- 4:55Now, thanks to Paula at plunder link in the description below.
- 4:59Please subscribe to Paula's channel.
- 5:01She's awesome. She's been working on, you know,
- 5:05the Freedom of Information requests that whatever, whatever
- 5:10the law is called in Washington state, sunshine request, FOIL
- 5:14requests, open records requests, whatever.
- 5:17She has been doggedly pursuing more docs the way she always
- 5:23does, something that I really respect about her.
- 5:28And she published them at the end of last week.
- 5:30And you guys are like, well, Gavin, you're late to the party.
- 5:33I don't care about being first. I care about having good, deep
- 5:37conversations. I like to cut through the fluff.
- 5:39I like to cut through the speculation and get into the
- 5:43nitty gritty of true crime. And if if that's what you like,
- 5:47then you're in the right spot. So that's the case that we're
- 5:49talking about. OK, before we really get into it
- 5:53though, guys, I don't know if you've ever noticed.
- 5:58I don't I don't wear a lot of jewelry, right?
- 6:00I wear my wedding band and I always wear a watch.
- 6:04I am not the classic horologist, but I do love a fine mechanical
- 6:10watch and I wanted to show you this one.
- 6:14This one is one that is kind of my daily wear.
- 6:17If you look at it, it says that the brand is Ben's Micro.
- 6:23It's hard to get it to to focus on that.
- 6:27The brand is Ben's Micro. This watch was a gift to me by a
- 6:33woman who was a dealer of mine when I was in high end audio.
- 6:37And she also was a dealer of of turntable equipment from Ben's
- 6:43Micro. And Once Upon a time, she and
- 6:46her late husband were given the gift of this watch.
- 6:50It was it was her late husband's watch.
- 6:52And when I was at her store in the Los Angeles area one time,
- 6:58she came up to me with the box, with the paperwork, with the
- 7:01watch and said, I would like to gift you this watch.
- 7:04And she did. And it is it is one of my
- 7:08favorite watches. It turns out that it's actually
- 7:13a rebranded Ernst Benz Swiss watch and I know Ernst Benz
- 7:19because of the work he did in aviation and avionics.
- 7:23Anyway, why am I even telling you the story?
- 7:26There's a bit of a tangent isn't it?
- 7:28Well, the reason I'm telling you this story is that I am teaming
- 7:32up with fan of them to do a giveaway here on this channel.
- 7:38You guys are so generous to me. Generous in a way that my friend
- 7:42and dealer was when she gave me her late husband's watch.
- 7:47You guys are generous to me and I want to be able to give back
- 7:51and I have a hard time doing that.
- 7:52But I teamed up with fan of them to give away a Omega Speedmaster

- 9:39goodness, I wish that was in my my small and modest watch
- 9:44collection. All right guys, thank you very
- 9:49much fan of them. Let's start, shall we?
- 9:52We're going to get to a video today.
- 9:54I Paula released, I think a total of 5 videos that are body
- 10:01worn Cam camera videos, the dashcam videos, but she also
- 10:05released a bunch of new documents.
- 10:07And in that document, in the case of the DV, the alleged DV
- 10:12of Magnolia, is this document. Ratcher OK, this now we have
- 10:21read a narrative before, but this guy's is an affidavit of
- 10:27probable cause filed with the Chelan County Superior Court by
- 10:33the Chelan County Sheriff's Office.
- 10:35Now, so far, it appears that we just have an incident number on
- 10:42this. We don't have an actual docket
- 10:43number. I have not been able to find yet
- 10:49a, a case like a docket. So I don't think that he's been
- 10:53charged in Washington state on this, but but it's I mean, I
- 11:00love docs. I'm a sucker for docs.
- 11:02We are going to get into this 10.
- 11:04But before we do guys, guys, guys, guys, guys, guys, guys,
- 11:07guys. I almost forgot.
- 11:09Let me check in to see where you are checking in from.
- 11:14Let's see, let me just Scroll down here.
- 11:17We've got Yorkshire in the house.
- 11:19It's good to see you. Thank you for being here.
- 11:22Let's see if I missed anybody scrolling on down.
- 11:27Austin, TX is in the house. Who?
- 11:32I yeah, put GF in your comments. It helps me quite a lot.
- 11:37Caroline, you're welcome for the gifted membership.
- 11:39Thank you very much for being here early.
- 11:42Greetings, says Pam from the rainy Gulf Coast.
- 11:45Happy Monday. Glad you are here.
- 11:47Watching from Clearwater, FL is Amy.
- 11:50We got Hot Springs in the house. We have got the Keystone State.
- 11:55My Pittsburgh Deb PGH Deb is in the house.
- 11:58My adopted home state Donna asking why hasn't Jonathan Lee
- 12:05Rich's been arrested? I do not know.
- 12:09I do not know. Let's see who else is here.
- 12:14I we're, we're going to read the affidavit of probable cause.
- 12:17Colorado is in the house, Pittsburgh, PA is here, Alabama
- 12:22is here. The cowboy logic.
- 12:25This is a this is a good comment.
- 12:27DV should be taken seriously. Everyone says JLR is a nice guy.
- 12:30They said the same thing about OJ Simpson.
- 12:32He was a nice guy until he wasn't.
- 12:34So for me, these are allegations.
- 12:37We're an allegation land here. But I take the allegations very
- 12:40seriously. And he is a media personality
- 12:43and, and I think it, I think that we should be talking about
- 12:49these things, especially especially when the allegation
- 12:53contains strangulation. OK, That to me is a we must talk
- 12:59about this. We must stop and talk about
- 13:01this. We've had Brian Bennett on the
- 13:03show multiple times, a former South Carolina state law
- 13:09enforcement officer. He is a strangulation expert.
- 13:13And he has told us that the the likelihood that a victim
- 13:20survivor of strangulation dies of homicide later on is 8.
- 13:25It goes up eightfold, 8 times. You're 800% more likely to be a
- 13:31victim of homicide if you are a victim survivor of
- 13:34strangulation. So we're talking about it.
- 13:39San Tan Valley, Arizona, thank you for being here.
- 13:41Independence, MO is in the house.
- 13:42George is in the house. Barb is watching from her sewing
- 13:45room. We've got our friendly neighbors
- 13:48to the north here, Southern Virginia.
- 13:50Sharkey is joining us from South Lake Tahoe.
- 13:52Thank you for being here. Upper Peninsula of Michigan,
- 13:56Grand Rapids Rapids, Michigan, Eastern Kentucky, lots of
- 14:02Caroline, Taterville. Most of your McDonald's fries
- 14:05are grown here, I must say. I must say Idaho, that that's
- 14:09just my guess. We got Santa Monica here.
- 14:12Razorback Nation Fun fact, my nephew was a was offered a full
- 14:19ride scholarship to play football at Arkansas but had a
- 14:27had AII don't want to give there.
- 14:29There are HIPAA laws here. He wasn't able to accept the the
- 14:34offer. Let's see Northern Kentucky in
- 14:37the house. Florida's here miles north of
- 14:40the Corvette plant. All right, you guys home of
- 14:44General George Armstrong Custer. Julie, it's good to see you
- 14:47watching from England. Is here British Columbia in the
- 14:50house. Thank you all for being here.
- 14:53I'm gotta says I'm right here as I always am in northwest
- 14:56Pennsylvania, the Sunshine State gateway to the San Juan Islands
- 15:01starts with an A and ends with an S Arkansas.
- 15:10I I don't know. I don't know.
- 15:12I don't know. Northern Arizona's here.
- 15:14You guys are awesome. You guys are awesome.
- 15:19What is it, Babran? Babran says.
- 15:22Lovely watch. I love this watch and I hope
- 15:24that you guys love that Speedmaster.
- 15:27I love that Speedmaster. And let's see, Ali Taylor loves
- 15:31watches. Your favorite other jewelry?
- 15:33Awesome, Starflower says. If I won, I would give my
- 15:37partner the watch. That's the way to go.
- 15:40No eyes. Where's that chunky fossil
- 15:41watch? That was my first like watch
- 15:44that I purchased that I was like, hey, I've got a I've got a
- 15:47real watch here. Went to the Fossil outlet in
- 15:50Folsom, CA. I loved that watch.
- 15:53Loved it. All right, you guys, thanks for
- 15:56checking in. All right, let's go back to this
- 16:00document and and read along, shall we?
- 16:04Let's we'll get through the yadda Yadda's.
- 16:08It was recorded on axe and body camera.
- 16:12Let's see. We should say the affian
- 16:14believes that the crimes of of assault in the second degree,
- 16:17DV, harassment, threats to kill DV and interfering with the
- 16:22reporting of DV have been committed by the defendant
- 16:26Jonathan Lee Riches. And then he offers a summary of
- 16:31the incident. Where is my There we are.
- 16:34OK, on December 25th, 2025 at approximately 10/21 AMI, Deputy
- 16:41K Talley was working uniformed patrol patrol and driving a
- 16:46fully marked patrol vehicle for the Chelan County Sheriff's
- 16:49Office. I responded to the all season
- 16:52River Inn located at 8751 Icicle Road in Leavenworth, WA for the
- 16:57report of an assault. The victim reporting party
- 17:02identified herself as Jamie T Phillips.
- 17:06Jamie told dispatch she received an injury to her nose from a
- 17:10fight last night from her boyfriend, Jonathan Riches.
- 17:13Rivercom was also informed Jonathan had taken Jamie's phone
- 17:18and left last night. That actually let's pause there
- 17:24for a second because let's see if I can do this correctly.
- 17:32Let's see there, there are some some screenshots that were that
- 17:38are available thanks to Paula once again, this one from 11:42
- 17:44on the 25th showing like I think that shows 23 calls, 2 calls, 63
- 17:53calls, 9 calls, you know, and just so you know, I called this
- 17:59phone over 100 times trying to find out what is going on.
- 18:01You kicked me out and that that appears that that came from JLR
- 18:07to me it looks like he's trying to create a paper trail of what
- 18:14what happened. That's what it looks like to me.
- 18:17She's saying that they got into a fight.
- 18:20She's saying that he DV D her. He is saying you kicked me out.
- 18:25For the record, you kicked me out called so many times.
- 18:29Let's see the next one. The next screenshot is 1159 the
- 18:34same day. More calls from a call that says
- 18:38Timothy Riches. More missed calls from Timothy
- 18:42Riches. There's you know, some
- 18:44redactions that I did not redact.
- 18:48The police redacted. Then this one at 12 O five more
- 18:53more calls or a call log of of more calls twelve O 7.
- 19:00This appears to be a continuation of that previous
- 19:03text. For the sake of God, answer the
- 19:05phone. Magnolia, I'm crying non-stop.
- 19:08You ruined this Christmas. Is there more or is it just the
- 19:15redaction log again, kind of like establishing, establishing
- 19:21that he he was kicked out and that he seems to be the victim.
- 19:28That's the way I read this. To me, it feels like kind of
- 19:32classic coercive control. It's the way it feels to me.
- 19:39Not saying that it is. I just, I just, it also kind of
- 19:44like, you know, I'm the victim here.
- 19:48You are the one who ruined this for us.
- 19:52And then another screen grab. Let's see.
- 19:58I think the dark blue comes from Magnolia.
- 20:01This is from 12:25. You stole my phone and left so
- 20:03that I couldn't call 911. But your phone worked fine for
- 20:07911, so they're on the way. I will let the police sort out
- 20:11my phone and find it for me. You stole my phone so that I
- 20:15couldn't call for help. So she seems to be doing the
- 20:17same kind of thing, establishing like.
- 20:22And you know, the the way I'm saying it makes it sound like
- 20:26it's not sincere. It could possibly it it it
- 20:29probably is sincere, but it's but it also establishes a
- 20:33record, right, Which which I'm all for establish the record.
- 20:38He responds. Oh, OK, great.
- 20:40I'm leaving and I'm filing a restraining order when I get
- 20:44back against you by I'm out. She says good luck and that
- 20:48appears. So those are some of the screen
- 20:50grabs that came out of this, you know, this investigation.
- 20:58OK, continuing the affidavit of probable cause, I arrived at the
- 21:03location at the same time as AID.
- 21:05We're going to look at that video, OK?
- 21:08We contacted Jamie at the main entrance door.
- 21:11I could visibly see bruising around Jamie's right eye,
- 21:14consistent with being in the early stages of a black eye.
- 21:18I could also see a small red mark on the upper right corner
- 21:22of the bridge of Jamie's nose. By the way, in the videos, it's
- 21:26redacted. And this is a 55 page report.
- 21:33I'm going to come back to this, but I just let me just I'm going
- 21:37to zoom out so you guys can see full pages, right?
- 21:41So most of it is redacted. These are different pages.
- 21:47I'm I'm scrolling through pages right now.
- 21:49So it's like maybe 20 pages of redacted, I believe photos,
- 21:56they're redacted for medical reasons.
- 21:59And it says what the and then it's a bunch of redaction logs,
- 22:03right. So all of this going up, let me
- 22:09it doesn't look like I'm moving anywhere but but these are all
- 22:11different pages. So it was, it was page 6 through
- 22:1729 were redacted photos. So there's a lot here.
- 22:22There's the, the investigation I think was done.
- 22:26I think that they believed that they had probable cause and and
- 22:31that's important here, right? Because a lot of people are
- 22:33saying leave JLR alone. It's he said she said.
- 22:36Well, it's he said she said, unless there's documentation.
- 22:39And if there is documentation, then it's he said, she said.
- 22:44And the documentation shows. And that is I mean that, that
- 22:49that's important. That's important.
- 22:52OK. Small red mark on the bridge of
- 22:58Jamie's nose. Her nose was visibly not
- 23:00straight and resembled what I have observed through training
- 23:03and experience to be broken. Jamie requested we all speak in
- 23:08the room where her belongings were, which is the Shenandoah
- 23:12room at this location upstairs. Jamie advised sometime between
- 23:172300 hours and midnight last night, so this would have been
- 23:21Christmas Eve 2025. She had confronted Jonathan
- 23:26about things she observed on his work phone.
- 23:30Jamie stated that it was things such as communications with
- 23:33other women. Let's see, I pluralized that
- 23:38wrong communication singular with other women plural and what
- 23:43she described to be porn. Jamie stated when she addressed
- 23:48this with Jonathan, he became enraged and struck her with a
- 23:51closed fist multiple times on the side of her head, her nose,
- 23:56and her ribs. Jamie stated she grabbed her
- 24:00phone and began to Don 911 for help, but Jonathan saw her doing
- 24:04this, took her phone from her and said I will effing kill you.
- 24:10I asked Jamie if she believed this threat to be true.
- 24:13She stated she believed he would kill her.
- 24:18Jamie stated she believes at some point she lost
- 24:20consciousness after the assault but remembered Jonathan grabbing
- 24:252 bags, his personal cell phone, Jamie's cell phone, and then
- 24:30leaving. I asked Jamie what phone she
- 24:33currently had and she stated it was Jonathan's work phone that
- 24:37he had left behind. Jamie stated she did not know
- 24:40where he went but believed he may have taken the white Jeep
- 24:43Compass they rented. I observed a white Jeep Compass
- 24:48to be parked outside prior to making contact with Jamie.
- 24:52This is stuff that we know, it's just written differently here.
- 24:56I asked Jamie if she would be willing to have her injuries
- 24:59photographed for documentation. Jamie agreed.
- 25:02And I think attached to this but redacted are whatever that is,
- 25:072025 photos due to most of the medics on scene and myself to be
- 25:17male and one of the areas of injury requiring Jamie to lift
- 25:21her shirt. I asked a female medic if she
- 25:24would be willing to take photos of Jamie's injuries with my
- 25:27department issued cell phone in the bathroom of the hotel room,
- 25:30to which she agreed and completed.
- 25:32These photos will be uploaded for evidence upon completion of
- 25:36documenting the injuries. Jamie was transported to the
- 25:39Cascade Medical Center for evaluation.
- 25:43That video of her transport is available at Paula's Patreon.
- 25:57As soon as I like these, these came to light because of Paula.
- 26:01I got them from somebody else, but I believe they came from
- 26:04Paula. So I'm not going to upload them
- 26:08to my Patreon until I receive them officially.
- 26:12Well, I received them from an official channel.
- 26:14That's not Paula, but you can go and watch that on her Patreon.
- 26:19OK, I requit continuing the the PCA.
- 26:23I requested Rivercom to put Rivercom the communications
- 26:28folks to put an on the lookout out for Jonathan.
- 26:33I responded to the Cascade Medical Center and met with
- 26:36Jamie in emergency room number 3.
- 26:38I asked Jamie if she would be willing to complete a medical
- 26:42release form for documentation of injuries received from the
- 26:45assault. OP, you know what?
- 26:46So I might be wrong. A lot of that stuff that's
- 26:50documented, that's redacted, may be documents, not just photos.
- 26:55We'll have to look through the redaction log to know for sure.
- 27:01Let's see. Jamie agreed and the medical
- 27:03release form was completed, signed and provided to the
- 27:07medical facility staff. Jamie stated Jonathan had been
- 27:11texting the work phone knowing he left it behind.
- 27:15He told Jamie he was 100 miles away from her and in the middle
- 27:18of nowhere. Jamie could not confirm the Jeep
- 27:21Compass still parked at the hotel was their rental, but due
- 27:24to it being the only one there and all the other guests
- 27:28vehicles accounted for, this was most likely the vehicle Jamie
- 27:31believed Jonathan to be. Most likely still in the area
- 27:34and their flight leaves tomorrow which would require them to
- 27:37travel back to Seattle and return the vehicle to Seatac
- 27:40where it was rented. So I imagine that that caused
- 27:45her some fear, some consternation, right?
- 27:49I was also advised by Jamie that in August of this year, she was
- 27:53on a work trip with Jonathan in Charlotte.
- 27:56This was when she first found out about his infidelity and
- 27:59porn issues alleged. Let's say he's alleging all of
- 28:04this, right? She stated she confronted him
- 28:07and he attacked her in the hotel they were staying at.
- 28:10Jamie stated it was similar to this, he assaulted her violently
- 28:14and then took their rental car and drove back to Florida where
- 28:18they live. Jamie stated there's a long
- 28:20history of Jonathan assaulting her in their almost three-year
- 28:23dating relationship. She stated she knows she should
- 28:27have left many times before this but hasn't.
- 28:30Jamie stated Jonathan needs to be held accountable for what he
- 28:33did. I provided Jamie with a courtesy
- 28:35ride back to her hotel. Deputy Mccomas and I searched
- 28:39the room prior to Jamie going back into it.
- 28:41The on site manager was contacted who changed the
- 28:44security code combinations for the front door and for the room
- 28:47Jamie is staying in. It should be noted that the
- 28:51white Jeep Compass bearing this license plate that was observed
- 28:55earlier was confirmed to be another guest's rental vehicle
- 28:58that was not involved this time. I have probable cause to arrest
- 29:03Jonathan Lee Riches for violating this law, assault in
- 29:06the second degree, DV, this law, harassment, threats to kill, DV
- 29:11and that law interfering with the reporting of DV.
- 29:15And he cited that was Christmas Day of 2025.
- 29:19OK, so that's where we are on the documents.
- 29:23Let's check in with y'all. See what you guys are saying
- 29:27over here? Let's see.
- 29:32It needs to refresh. Give me just a second while I
- 29:36scroll back up through. I think I probably missed some
- 29:39of your some of your comments. Looks like we got Vancouver
- 29:44Island. BC is in the house.
- 29:46Thank you very much. Missouri is in the house.
- 29:48Thank you. Dirty jersey here.
- 29:51OK. Hello from somewhere in America.
- 29:53Thank you. No, I says allegedly Magnolia
- 29:58found something extremely troubling on his phone.
- 30:00If true this he has done it it what you are inferring is C Sam
- 30:07that that's what I'm getting from what your comment is.
- 30:10Maybe my inference is wrong. I think that would be listed on
- 30:17the PCA if that were the case. Sandy Quinn says watching from
- 30:23Essex. Are we going to watch the
- 30:26footage is the question. Yeah, we're going to watch about
- 30:2816 minutes of it. Debbie asking didn't he leave
- 30:33the scene and then the state? That is my understanding.
- 30:36Sherry says I'm late in getting caught up, but I come here
- 30:39because you do read comments and validate us.
- 30:42I do read comments. I love your comments.
- 30:45Pittsburgh Deb says Gavin, this is sad.
- 30:48It is Oshkosh in the house. I was at an EAA little activity
- 30:55just this past week on Friday. It was awesome.
- 30:59Nikki is here from Bermuda. Quick.
- 31:01Hello and bye now. Thank you for being here.
- 31:05See if there's anything else that I want to make watching
- 31:10from the Land of Fire and Ice. Are are you like in the Seven
- 31:17Kingdoms? Is that where you are?
- 31:18Are you in the Seven Kingdoms? Sorry, 9 Kingdoms.
- 31:24See if there's anything else Sherry says Gavin and
- 31:28commenters. JLR is not a victim.
- 31:31Have any of you ever seen what he's actually done to the real
- 31:33victims when he's covering the case?
- 31:35He is a relentless, cruel with no conscience individual.
- 31:43Yeah, and people, people really love him.
- 31:48They do. They do.
- 31:50I'm seeing that there are plenty of messages being deleted by our
- 31:53mods. Thanks, mods, for keeping things
- 31:55classy. Let's see.
- 31:59Tandy Kane says Gavin. I agree.
- 32:00I think she found inappropriate texts with other women, not that
- 32:03other stuff. I agree.
- 32:05That's what I think. And Louisiana in the house.
- 32:08Wisconsin's in the house. Thank you very, very much.
- 32:12OK, let's move on to let me just find the right button.
- 32:20Javi trained me on this. Got to find the right button.
- 32:23This is I've edited this down to 16 minutes and 19 seconds.
- 32:29OK, now it is one full clip 1619.
- 32:35I haven't I haven't cut it up or anything, but it is heavily
- 32:40redacted. It's redacted with beeps.
- 32:43It's redacted with like blurs. It's redacted with no volume.
- 32:49All of those redactions happened from, I believe, the Chelan
- 32:54County Sheriff's Department. OK, quick little heads up.
- 32:59There are beeps. I just, I just couldn't go
- 33:02through and get rid of all of the beeps.
- 33:05They're loud. So those of you wearing earbuds
- 33:08maybe want to turn this down before this scene that we're
- 33:13about to start. They walked around.
- 33:15They were looking for where Magnolia was in this hotel.
- 33:19Looks like they're probably aren't door numbers and stuff
- 33:22like that. It looks to be more like a Verbo
- 33:27or an Airbnb kind of place, I guess.
- 33:29I don't know. But anyway, we're picking it up
- 33:34after they've walked around talking with different people
- 33:37wondering, hey, did you call us right?
- 33:41And that is where we pick it up. With that, I will Kaija me la
- 33:47Boca and we will continue. Are you are.
- 33:58You the. Are you the?
- 34:00One that got hurt. Are you OK?
- 34:03No, I yeah, let's get let's get you checked out.
- 34:08This is Magnolia in red holding the little spud McKenzie dog.
- 34:11We can go back upstairs if that's where you're at.
- 34:14Just get out of here. I don't think that's a real
- 34:21Spuds McKenzie dog. Just just the patch on the eye
- 34:24kind of looks like. You're long in here, right?
- 34:38Again, heavily, heavily redacted.
- 34:44How do you talk with the medics first and then you and I
- 34:46towards? Just so you know, my body camera
- 34:48will be required in the entire. Oh yeah, what's going on?
- 34:50Let's just have you take a seat on the battery.
- 35:02Again, This is redacted by them. Y'all coming in or no?
- 35:43She just wants the door closed. OK,
- 36:22no eyes. Is that the dog's name?
- 36:24Rio. He's a cute little guy.
- 36:35Let's see. The date of this Granny Debbie
- 36:37is December 25th, 2025. The apple snap.
- 36:48Alas. Is this their home?
- 36:49No, this is a hotel that they were staying in in Washington
- 36:52state. Does he drive a white Jeep?
- 36:58You drive a car here. The white, the white Jeep, your
- 37:05only form of transportation, the park lot, There's a white Jeep
- 37:13out. For those of you who are
- 37:19listening on the podcast. It's just it's mostly blurry
- 37:24with very little audio. Lucy says he has more than one
- 37:29personality. It's scary that people are like
- 37:31this. Tacos, my Love says.
- 37:41What does it say about JLR when he's been in trouble in Tucson
- 37:45with the Sheriff's Department for following Tommaso around in
- 37:48his car, stalking him? I don't care who you are,
- 37:50everyone deserves privacy, Mike says.
- 37:57I thought that was the honeymoon Jonathan's army paid for.
- 38:02When you leave, therefore that's.
- 38:08What we're I'm sorry, I'm sorry. When?
- 38:10When are you guys scheduled to leave here?
- 38:13Are you wanting to go to the hospital all day?
- 38:25So much redaction here. Fly Girl can't really see
- 38:28anything or hear anything. It's a lot of redaction is
- 38:30right. Yes, indeed, Lori says.
- 38:35Some people. Go to the hospital to get
- 38:36checked out with them, just to kind of make sure that there's
- 38:40nothing else that could be injured.
- 38:50Lori says the. Problem with anything that's
- 38:52broken is the longer that you wait the the injury starts to
- 38:56try to heal and then they get to do more damage to the injury by
- 38:59re breaking it and moving it around after it's healed a
- 39:01little bit. Medic.
- 39:02I'm just a cop, they'll know more than me.
- 39:07I'm just a cop, they'll know more than me.
- 39:12Just ducky. Why is it taking so long for
- 39:14charges to be filed? Or is this normal?
- 39:16More difficult with all the different states involved.
- 39:19The DA gets to decide whether they are going to file charges
- 39:24or not. Would you be OK if we pictures
- 39:29really quick before? Cowboy logic says GLRI know
- 39:35you're watching this. People are on to you.
- 39:37You recently became a storm chaser.
- 39:40The storm is now chasing you. Just As for Magnolia, a lot of
- 39:42people feel that way. Yes, indeed.
- 39:54I'm glad that the that the police officers are like, can we
- 39:59go to the hospital and get this checked out?
- 40:00This actually tells me that they believe that there's actual DV
- 40:05that has happened here. And by the way, while this is
- 40:08going, let me just show you guys.
- 40:11A couple of images, OK, we're going to let this play so that
- 40:17we'll hear, we'll hear audio if it comes up.
- 40:21But there are a couple of images that came out as well.
- 40:26You know, just go back here. The owner just wanted me to come
- 40:36check out what was happening. Are you a guest or part of the.
- 40:39I'm the innkeeper. You're the innkeeper.
- 40:41OK. I will speak with you as soon as
- 40:43we're done. OK.
- 40:44Do you have my phone number? I do not.
- 40:46OK. Do you want to give it to you?
- 40:48Sure. Do you want to write it down?
- 40:54OK. It might be a little bit before
- 40:56I get a hold of you. And there's only so much detail
- 40:58I can give you. Yeah, no worries.
- 41:01Just, you know, as far as any threats to anybody's safety in
- 41:04the building goes, there is none.
- 41:05OK. What's your and your name?
- 41:13Tony. Tony.
- 41:14All right, Tony, I appreciate the request.
- 41:16And I'll get a hold of you single.
- 41:19Time. All right, so these are the
- 41:23pictures that were released. There does appear to be blood.
- 41:27It's not like it's a Dexter scene or anything like that.
- 41:34This looks like it's on a night stand or something like that.
- 41:36There's blood in the sink, blood on a towel.
- 41:45I'm glad she didn't wash that down so that the evidence is
- 41:50there. And then here's one that's like
- 41:52on a wall. About halfway through this.
- 42:17You won't be stranded without a ride one way or the other.
- 42:21Yeah, the hospital is only a couple miles.
- 42:25Down the road, oh, did you hear that?
- 42:27You know, they want her to go to the hospital.
- 42:30They want her to go to the hospital to get checked out.
- 42:33And they've told her, you know, this, it's going to get worse if
- 42:38you don't get it checked out. And now they're telling her you
- 42:41won't get stranded at the hospital.
- 42:43We'll get you right back, right. These, these officers want her
- 42:47to be checked out. They've got, you know, they're
- 42:51in the suspicion business, right?
- 42:53They're they're their sniffer is, is detecting DV here.
- 42:59And they want as much evidence as they can get.
- 43:01You know why there isn't an arrest yet?
- 43:04I don't know. There's a report, there's APCA,
- 43:09but it doesn't appear that charges have been filed yet that
- 43:11I can find anyway. Just a couple quick questions to
- 43:18what time did the fight happen last night?
- 43:27And this was in the report, right when?
- 43:30He attacked you. What did he use?
- 43:35And the report is a closed fist. Times do you think?
- 43:49He asked how many times do you think he hit her and again in
- 43:55the report and. When you took your phone, did he
- 43:59know you were going to call 91? One see what it says.
- 44:14I just says multiple times but that she lost consciousness.
- 44:22Yeah, these are these police officers are are doing an actual
- 44:26investigation. I appreciate it too.
- 44:27Do you? Have any pictures of him?
- 44:38Is there any pictures of him on that phone?
- 44:42Can I get just a picture of him really quick?
- 44:43Sorry guys, we just want to try to get out of your way.
- 44:53Professionals with their politeness argument, right?
- 44:58I don't want to be in your way. Well, I don't want to be in your
- 45:00way. It's pretty great.
- 45:03Consciousness at all? Asked her if she'd lost
- 45:07consciousness in the report. She says she believed it.
- 45:10Sometimes she had. Looking at the report, there's
- 45:23anything about how many times it doesn't say specifically.
- 45:37Let's see what you guys are saying over here in the fly,
- 45:41Girl says. What was the fight over?
- 45:45Fly Girl says. In my opinion, JLR is a master
- 45:48manipulator and has fooled a lot of folks into thinking he has
- 45:50changed. I see through it.
- 45:55The thing is, the people are complicated, right?
- 45:59Maybe he's a better person than he was before, maybe he has
- 46:02changed for the better, but maybe not enough, right?
- 46:11Tandy Kane says Washington is the only state that could charge
- 46:14him with the photos. Of him really quick, so I know
- 46:16what he looks like. And then we're going to get you
- 46:18transported to the hospital. Washington is the only state
- 46:25that could charge him with DV related offenses, at least for
- 46:27this particular offense. Yeah, all states have anti DV
- 46:32laws but because it was a it was a case in Washington state, it
- 46:36would have to happen in Washington.
- 46:38They're together and you can say if it is or not.
- 46:46Yeah, Lori says. I agreed Two sides to every
- 46:49story. I.
- 46:49Took the trump of it already. Deb, I agreed.
- 46:58Never. OK.
- 47:01I seem to know what he looks like.
- 47:11Bev Bald Most DVD abusers come across as charming in my
- 47:14opinion, into. His face.
- 47:18Good enough. All right, let's get you to the
- 47:21hospital now, OK? This is how they lure women into
- 47:27their lives, says Bev. And a refugee lady was, let's
- 47:31see, married to a barrister. Imagine trying to divorce him.
- 47:35Yeah. Why is it OK for Let's Go?
- 47:39Rub a coat and get you going. It'll be, it'll be a few hours
- 47:43potentially. So that's where you.
- 47:45Just bring. You don't have to worry about
- 47:46it, and then you don't have to come back here.
- 47:51I think they'll be fine with it. Under those under those
- 47:53circumstances, I think they'll be.
- 47:55Fine. Oh, she's worried about her dog.
- 47:56You don't have to worry about coming back here in three hours
- 47:58if you needed under the circumstances, bring your dog,
- 48:05right? Jay Brimble asks.
- 48:08Why is it OK for JLR to investigate many different
- 48:11people but he can't be investigated by anyone else?
- 48:13It's funny. What was he wearing when he
- 48:18left? Granny, Debbie, is this the
- 48:25Christmas Day incident? It is, yes.
- 48:36Yeah, they redacted everything. And then when we get outside,
- 48:40you can tell me if that's the vehicle that you remember or
- 48:43not. Does it look like the rental?
- 48:59This might be the most heavily redacted body worn camera
- 49:02footage I've ever seen. What's?
- 49:03His first name again. I'm sorry, Jonathan.
- 49:13Hey, they finally let one slip. Mel Stiller says give me proof
- 49:32or give me nothing. Well, in cases like I'm just
- 49:35going to respectfully disagree with you on that the
- 49:38investigation has to go through, that's fine.
- 49:43Man, sure it's not a big ER. Mommy, too, Kitty says Law
- 49:49enforcement always goes that extra mile in all cases like
- 49:52this, whether DV is the cause or not.
- 49:58And wisdom sleuth, I agree. These officers are very
- 50:01professional and thorough. And sadly, this reminds me of
- 50:03the Gabby incidents, how different things could have
- 50:06been. Yeah.
- 50:08Yep. Oh my goodness.
- 50:16Yeah. Pittsburgh, Deb.
- 50:17Strangulation does lead to murder, that is Missus Lace
- 50:25Knitter says. I encourage everyone to look at
- 50:27the video Docket Decoder did on JLR's history.
- 50:30I was really horrified. Thank you, Jeremy.
- 50:56Yeah, happy to happy to try to put this out.
- 50:58I think that's the end of the video.
- 51:00That's the end of the clip anyway.
- 51:02Yeah, that's the end of it. So heavily, heavily, heavily,
- 51:05heavily, heavily redacted. But at least we kind of get to
- 51:10see that the police took it seriously.
- 51:13They did find that they had probable cause to make an
- 51:17arrest. Mr. Riches was gone, so they
- 51:20didn't make an arrest. The question that I have
- 51:22remaining is why haven't charges been filed yet And maybe they
- 51:27have, I just haven't found them, but I feel like they I feel like
- 51:33they haven't at least as of a couple of hours ago.
- 51:36Let me just let me just see if anything else has come out in
- 51:42the last couple hours. I don't yeah there there hasn't
- 51:51been anything new on this case coming out in the media for
- 51:55about a month. So I mean, I think that's that's
- 52:00where we are now. We can take a look one more time
- 52:03at these images just just to kind of see the stuff that again
- 52:10Paula Plunder link in the description over to her.
- 52:14Please subscribe to her put out there right the, you know, blood
- 52:19dripping down a wall, it looks like to me.
- 52:23I mean, gravity works down right toward the center of the earth.
- 52:26So it looks like we're looking at a vertical surface there with
- 52:30blood dripping, though that might no, it's not upside down.
- 52:34I was about to say I might be upside down.
- 52:36I don't think so. Pictures of the towel.
- 52:40I, I, I I'm guessing that she would have put that on her nose
- 52:43right to stop bleeding or somewhere on her face.
- 52:48We know that one of the pictures required her to lift her shirt,
- 52:52so there were somebody blows, allegedly.
- 52:56Some more pictures of the sink with blood in the sink.
- 53:01Same sink here, just a different angle.
- 53:04And then there are a couple of pictures showing a blood
- 53:07droplet. It looks to me like it's on a
- 53:11night stand next to a bed. Just a little, little droplet of
- 53:18blood there. There may be other pictures that
- 53:22that haven't been released yet, but but that's, that's what we
- 53:27got. Again, I just want to give a
- 53:29huge shout out to Paulette Plunder for putting this stuff
- 53:32out. She does an amazing, amazing job
- 53:36of finding these things. So we will continue to keep our
- 53:41eyes peeled in the case of maybe the state of Washington versus
- 53:48Jonathan Lee Riches. I mean that's how it's shown on
- 53:54the on the document here, right? Chelan County, state of
- 53:59Washington. I don't it doesn't it says s s
- 54:03not VS so, but versus whatever it is Jonathan Lee Riches And so
- 54:10far we just have an incident number.
- 54:12We do not have a a docket number.
- 54:17This is that incident on Christmas Day of 2025.
- 54:20So we will keep our eyes on it because this is this is crime
- 54:27that is being alleged. So we're going to keep our eyes
- 54:31peeled. But for now we are going to move
- 54:35on guys. We're going to move on to what
- 54:39should we do, Javi? What do you think, Wanda?
- 54:42What do you think should we do three questions?
- 54:44Yeah, let's do three questions here.
- 54:45We it's three questions with Gavin Fish.
- 54:54Guys, in this segment, I answer your questions that you emailed
- 54:58to me at threequestions@gavinfish.com.
- 55:00Three questions at gavinfish.com.
- 55:02Spelled out THREE questions at gavinfish.com.
- 55:05You can ask me anything. You can ask me about cases, you
- 55:08can ask me my opinion. You could ask about the
- 55:10mysteries of the universe. You could ask me my favorite
- 55:12color. It doesn't really matter to me.
- 55:13What does matter to me is that I will answer three of them, and I
- 55:17will do so in the order that I see fit.
- 55:21The ones that take them a fancy, so to speak.
- 55:23OK, question number one from Kelly.
- 55:26What in the world is a Neapolitan pizza?
- 55:29I think this comes from our last live stream where I said one of
- 55:33my favorite foods is Neapolitan pizza.
- 55:36Well, first of all, it's Neapolitan, not Neapolitan.
- 55:41So if you if you go searching for Neapolitan pizza, you might
- 55:45find something differently. And Neapolitan pizza is like the
- 55:49original Naples, Italy pizza. It's delicious.
- 55:54It is a thin crust with usually pretty thick edges.
- 56:00It has a tomato sauce. It has Buffalo mozzarella.
- 56:05Sometimes they might put some basil on there, or a little like
- 56:11rock salt or flaky salt, but it basically is just sauce and
- 56:16cheese. And then it is cooked in a high
- 56:19temperature pizza oven around 900° on preferably a fired oven,
- 56:26right? So you get the scorch flavor on
- 56:30the bottom an you get the burn marks on the top.
- 56:32Should like, should look like leopard spots.
- 56:35It cooks in about 60 seconds if you've made it properly
- 56:40Neapolitan style. And that is guys.
- 56:44And don't get me wrong, I like New York pies.
- 56:47I like Chicago pies. I like, I like Hawaiian.
- 56:50I know that that is a hot take for a lot of you.
- 56:53I like all sorts of pizza, but the original is by far the best.
- 56:58And let me tell you, let me just give you an I.
- 57:01It's a bit of a tangent. Let's do a tangent here for a
- 57:03second, guys.
- 57:16The first time I ever had a Neapolitan pizza was in December
- 57:22of 1996. I was in a little town called
- 57:25Lafalda, which is up in the foothills of the Andes in the
- 57:29province of Cordoba, Argentina. And there was a little pizza
- 57:32joint that opened up where there was just a door.
- 57:36There was just a door and you had to walk through this,
- 57:39through the door, through this little alleyway, and then it
- 57:41opened up into this beautiful courtyard with a pizzeria that
- 57:47was open. It had a, it had a ceiling, but
- 57:49it was open air, big pizza oven in the middle.
- 57:53And I had my very first Neapolitan pizza there.
- 57:58It was delightful. It was delicious.
- 58:00It was amazing. And I, until our daughter was
- 58:06diagnosed with celiac, I was like a Neapolitan making
- 58:09machine. I love myself a Neapolitan
- 58:13pizza. And if you've never had one, you
- 58:16got to do it. You're not going to get it at
- 58:18yours, your Domino's, your Shakey's, your pizzas Hut.
- 58:24You're not going to get them at your whatever.
- 58:29You know, your pizza joints, your your littles Caesar.
- 58:33No, you have to go to like a specialty Italian kind of place,
- 58:38right? And Olive Garden is not going to
- 58:41work here, OK? It's got to, it's got to be an
- 58:45Italian place that knows how to make pizzas that have good pizza
- 58:50ovens. And just because you're in
- 58:51Merica doesn't mean that you can't find them.
- 58:53They are everywhere. OK?
- 58:55I had the most delicious Neapolitan pizza with my folks
- 58:59in Washington, DC about 8 or 9 years ago.
- 59:04It was awesome. It was oak fire.
- 59:06Oh, it's great. OK, So Kelly, that answers your
- 59:09question. That's what a Neapolitan pizza
- 59:11is. They're delicious sometimes.
- 59:14Oh, I could just go on and on. Sometimes they will put like a
- 59:17single green olive in the middle.
- 59:19Now, to me, that's kind of pushing it.
- 59:21It's pushing it a bit. It it's it's getting kind of
- 59:25getting kind of borderline. But I also like I like those
- 59:30kinds of olives. So not a bad idea.
- 59:33Just just, it's, it doesn't have anything else.
- 59:36It's, it's not going to have like just tons of olives on it.
- 59:38No, a single half of like a green olive, an Italian olive.
- 59:47And you know, it's, you know, I don't like this question today
- 59:49because I'm doing a 36 hour fast right now and now all I want is
- 59:53pizza. Thanks, guys.
- 59:54Thanks, Kelly. No, it's Kelly.
- 59:56Thank you for the question. Question #2 By the way, if you
- 1:00:00have ever had the world's greatest Neapolitan pizza, tell
- 1:00:03me where? I, I, I will read in the
- 1:00:06comments, I want to know where I, I'm going to give you another
- 1:00:08tangent story about Neapolitan pizza.
- 1:00:10OK. One time I, it was one of the
- 1:00:13trips where I had gone on a business trip to Europe and I
- 1:00:16took our oldest son with me. It was his first trip abroad and
- 1:00:23our our second stop, if I remember correctly, I think we
- 1:00:26flew into, we spent some time in England, then we went to France
- 1:00:31and we were in Paris. We got, we got in late and we
- 1:00:37checked into our Airbnb, which was really about half the size
- 1:00:41of this office. It's a tiny little place.
- 1:00:44And then we went walk about and we went to the Eiffel Tower and
- 1:00:47we both wanted to climb the Eiffel Tower.
- 1:00:49All the times I've been in Paris, I've never gone to the
- 1:00:51Eiffel Tower and walked up. And so Jackie and I did that and
- 1:00:57we hiked the entire Eiffel Tower.
- 1:00:59And then we, it took so long and we got down like let's grab some
- 1:01:04food. But all the shops were closing.
- 1:01:06So we had to walk a bit and we walked to the shop that was
- 1:01:10maybe, I don't know. We probably walked maybe 10
- 1:01:13minutes till we find, finally found a shop that they were
- 1:01:17closing. They were like putting the
- 1:01:18chairs up. And I was like, dude, is your
- 1:01:21pizza oven still on? Could you just make it as a
- 1:01:23pizza? And they said yes, they sat us
- 1:01:26down and they made us a pizza at the end of their day.
- 1:01:29And it was a neopa one for me, one for Jack.
- 1:01:32And it was awesome. We still talk about it to this
- 1:01:36day, that it was the best pizza we had ever had.
- 1:01:39I think it's probably because we've had a great day and we
- 1:01:42were famished and we were in Paris.
- 1:01:44And anyway, Fast forward several years, I think it was the last
- 1:01:48year or maybe 2024, I was in England again, this time with
- 1:01:54our, with one of our daughters and, and we decided, hey, let's
- 1:01:57take the train and we'll, we'll take a trip to Paris.
- 1:02:01So took the Eurostar to Paris. We arrived at Gerda Nord, we
- 1:02:06walked to the Notre Dame, we walked to the Louvre, spent a
- 1:02:10little time there, walked to the Eiffel Tower.
- 1:02:13Because of all The Walking, she wasn't all that excited about
- 1:02:16hiking the Eiffel Tower. But we went up, we spent some
- 1:02:18time at the Eiffel Tower. And then I said, hey, I know
- 1:02:21where the world's best pizza is. I was here however many years
- 1:02:25before it was right. I think it's been like 10 years.
- 1:02:29Well, I hadn't been quite 10 years, but it's been a while.
- 1:02:31And I walked right to the place, sat down.
- 1:02:35I told him the story. Hey, the last time I was here, I
- 1:02:37was with my son. You ordered, you gave me a
- 1:02:39pizza. At the end of the day, you
- 1:02:40didn't have to do that. I really appreciate it.
- 1:02:42It was delicious. Now, I brought my daughter.
- 1:02:45We both ordered a Neapolitan. We had a pizza and then somebody
- 1:02:49else from America came up and said, hey, does any, is anything
- 1:02:53good here? And I said, I came here
- 1:02:54specifically for this pizza. It's the second time I've done
- 1:02:57it. Anytime I'm in Paris, I will
- 1:02:59come here for this pizza. And then the guy was like, oh,
- 1:03:03that's so nice. And they ordered a pizza and
- 1:03:05then the place gave us some Gelato.
- 1:03:09I'm going back. It's awesome.
- 1:03:12OK question #2 Sam Warren 58 Gavin asks Gavin, do you own any
- 1:03:17vinyl records? Sam Warren 58 Do I own any vinyl
- 1:03:22records? Yes, of course.
- 1:03:24My collection is vast and beautiful.
- 1:03:28And if so, continues the question, what was your first
- 1:03:31purchase? Now that is a good question.
- 1:03:34That is a very good question. I was, when I was back in
- 1:03:40California this past February visiting my folks, I actually
- 1:03:45was going through, my dad had like boxes and boxes of 40 fives
- 1:03:50and I was like, oh, I think many of these are mine.
- 1:03:55So I started going through it and sure enough, like the
- 1:03:58memories would just wash back. I remember when I bought this
- 1:04:01Taylor Dane or when whatever, right?
- 1:04:04There's so many 80s, nineties stuff, but I used that used to
- 1:04:11be a Friday tradition. I would get my allowance on
- 1:04:13Friday. I would ride my bike to Tower
- 1:04:15Record and I would buy a single, a 45.
- 1:04:19And then occasionally I would buy a, you know, a full album.
- 1:04:24I wonder what my first full LP was.
- 1:04:32I don't even know. Like I'm trying to think of what
- 1:04:35the longest memories. It's probably Thriller or
- 1:04:38something like that was was probably my first LP that I
- 1:04:41bought. But and I've I've probably got 5
- 1:04:46or 6 copies of Thriller. I've got it on 200 gram.
- 1:04:49I've got a special edition. I've got it sealed still.
- 1:04:52I've got an original 1984 pressing that's still sealed.
- 1:04:57Yes, I have lots of vinyl. I love listening to vinyl and
- 1:05:02the last question of the day. Third question of three
- 1:05:04questions. By the way, tell me, do you have
- 1:05:07a vinyl collection, and if so, what was your first piece of
- 1:05:10vinyl? Wizard of Ezzy asks what
- 1:05:13memories capture what your parents were like when you were
- 1:05:15growing up? First off, my parents are
- 1:05:21awesome and I have tons of happy memories.
- 1:05:25I have precious few sad memories that I still love, right?
- 1:05:30You got to know the sad in order to know, in order to understand
- 1:05:33the happy. I think something that we did on
- 1:05:39the frequent that was quintessentially my parents was
- 1:05:42just go on rides. It was just, hey, kids were
- 1:05:45going on a ride, pile in and we'd pile into the car and go on
- 1:05:51a ride. We weren't going anywhere in
- 1:05:52particular. We'd usually stop for an ice
- 1:05:55cream cone or, you know, a Slurpee or a slushy or, or a
- 1:06:01burger or something. And when we lived in Utah as a
- 1:06:06little kid, we went all over creation.
- 1:06:08We saw everywhere. We went everywhere.
- 1:06:12And then in Northern California, I've been everywhere and it's
- 1:06:16been on those rides, right? Sometimes it would be like, hey,
- 1:06:20we're down in San Luis Obispo. We were with dad on a, on a, on
- 1:06:27like a business trip. So we're down, we're down at San
- 1:06:31Luis Obispo or something like that.
- 1:06:33Or I'm trying to think of like the Jet Propulsion labs or
- 1:06:39something, something we'd be, we'd be down there and let's go
- 1:06:43on a ride. So then we're along the coast
- 1:06:45and we're, we're exploring. So yeah, I, that's probably, I
- 1:06:51don't have one specific memory. I just have like hundreds of
- 1:06:55memories of the specific cars that we were in.
- 1:06:57We had a little 79 Mustang. It's one of the early Fox bodies
- 1:07:01we had. We had what we called the
- 1:07:03Enterprise, which was a Ford. It was a big station wagon.
- 1:07:11What is that Ford now? I can't remember what it was,
- 1:07:16but we had the big Enterprise. We had, we had an Ltd, we had
- 1:07:21the Suburban, we had a Maverick. You know, we just tons and tons
- 1:07:26of memories in in those cars at different points in my life.
- 1:07:31I'd love to hear your memory that captures what your parents
- 1:07:35were like when you were growing up.
- 1:07:38And while you put that into the comments, let us shall we grab
- 1:07:45some headlines? Here we go, true crime
- 1:07:53headlines. Okie Dokie.
- 1:07:57In the case of missing 84 year old woman Nancy Guthrie, we do
- 1:08:04have a bit of an update that considering it was Mother's Day
- 1:08:07yesterday. Happy Mother's Day belated by
- 1:08:10the way, many of you, maybe all of you, are mothers, your aunts,
- 1:08:16your grandmothers, your sisters. I hope you had a terrific
- 1:08:22Mother's Day, a headline from USA TODAY written by Brendan
- 1:08:26Morrow. Savannah Guthrie says she will
- 1:08:28never stop looking for her missing mom Nancy Guthrie In an
- 1:08:32emotional Mother's Day tribute, Savannah Guthrie says the
- 1:08:36article will never stop looking for her mom, Nancy Guthrie.
- 1:08:40The Today anchor, 54, took to Instagram on Mother's Day to
- 1:08:43share a poignant tribute to her 84 year old mother who has been
- 1:08:47missing for more than three months.
- 1:08:49Authorities believe Nancy Guthrie was taken from Arizona
- 1:08:52home against her will. Quote, Mother, daughter, sister.
- 1:08:56Noni, we miss you with every breath.
- 1:08:59Maybe she pronounced it Noni, I don't know.
- 1:09:01But Guthrie wrote quote, we will never stop looking for you.
- 1:09:06We will never be at peace until we find you. close quote.
- 1:09:10Guthrie shared the message along with the touching video
- 1:09:12compilation, showing various family photos and clips of Nancy
- 1:09:15Guthrie, including several where the Today anchor and her mom
- 1:09:20pose together. Let's, let's see it, shall we?
- 1:09:25Let's just see that maybe can. Yeah.
- 1:09:32Dang it. This is such a heartbreaking
- 1:09:35case, guys. Heartbreaking case.
- 1:09:38My goodness, the caption. In the caption, Guthrie again
- 1:09:45urged anyone who might know anything about her mother's
- 1:09:48disappearance to call 1800. Call FBI, quote, we need help.
- 1:09:53Someone knows something that can make a difference, she said,
- 1:09:56adding that quote, You can be anonymous and the reward remains
- 1:09:59available, Guthrie's post concluded.
- 1:10:02Please keep praying. Bring her home.
- 1:10:06If you know anything about missing woman Nancy Guthrie, I
- 1:10:12have a picture. Let me bring it up.
- 1:10:14Please call 1800, call FBI. OK, We're going to keep on that
- 1:10:19one. And then in the Celeste Rivas
- 1:10:23Hernandez case, some news here, written in the sun by Katie
- 1:10:26Forrester. I just found this interesting.
- 1:10:30I'm not going to read the whole thing, but the title was I went
- 1:10:34to Deformitas. Yes, I say Deformita because
- 1:10:37it's stupid Deformita. And thank you to Pascal for
- 1:10:44coining that one, at least to my knowledge.
- 1:10:45I went to Deformada's $140 gig the day dismembered teen was
- 1:10:50found in his Tesla. Deformada fans have been left
- 1:10:55sickened by the alleged warning signs at his funeral themed gig
- 1:11:00they attended on the same day a teenager's dismembered body was
- 1:11:04found in his car. The 21 year old singer faces the
- 1:11:08DP as he is accused of killing 14 year old Celeste Rivas
- 1:11:13Hernandez. Let me bring up Celeste
- 1:11:16Dondestas Chica. Where's the button?
- 1:11:19There she is on April 23rd, 2025 and mutilating her remains with
- 1:11:26a chainsaw. Deformida, whose name real name
- 1:11:31is David Anthony Burke, is facing 3 counts including first
- 1:11:34degree murdered with special circumstances after the missing
- 1:11:37teens decomposing body was found in the trunk of his Tesla in
- 1:11:40September 2025. The singer has pleaded not
- 1:11:43guilty to all charges and remains behind bars awaiting
- 1:11:46trial. Now, fans who attended the
- 1:11:48Minneapolis gig the day the body was found say they are disgusted
- 1:11:52after spotting what they now believe were chilling red flags
- 1:11:56at the show. This included the now unsettling
- 1:11:59sight of a casket and flowers out front, along with an invite
- 1:12:04for fans to write a letter to the deceased.
- 1:12:08Jazz Ramirez was in the crowd at the show and admitted she
- 1:12:11initially brushed off reports about the body being found in
- 1:12:14the car. Quote.
- 1:12:16It was the first thing on my feed or I saw on my feed.
- 1:12:20I believed it's just to be just a hoax or some sort of odd
- 1:12:24marketing for his concerts. Then I saw it being discussed on
- 1:12:28the news. She told the US Sun, continuing
- 1:12:30the quote. We decided to go anyway because
- 1:12:32we had spent around $140 on tickets the night prior.
- 1:12:36Everyone I met at the concert believed he was innocent.
- 1:12:39I was never necessarily a big fan of Deformada.
- 1:12:42I attended the concert last minute with my friend.
- 1:12:45I just knew his most popular songs for a while and wanted a
- 1:12:48fun night out. End of quote.
- 1:12:51Reflecting on the night since his arrest, she said she now
- 1:12:54feels incredibly disgusted by both the case and the artist,
- 1:12:58adding that the concert itself felt rushed.
- 1:13:02I remember the crowd trying to get Deformvida to perform Fein
- 1:13:07by Travis Scott for fun as he did it for his past shows, but
- 1:13:11he completely disregarded it, she said.
- 1:13:14Thinking back to it now, I feel like he was just trying to get
- 1:13:16through the show with no questions asked.
- 1:13:18Since all the information about the body being found was
- 1:13:21released on the same day, he didn't do much crowd work.
- 1:13:24It was just the typical what's up Minneapolis.
- 1:13:27She said. Concert goers have since
- 1:13:29realized the signs may have been there all along.
- 1:13:32Deformida performed A-19 song set at the Fillmore Minneapolis,
- 1:13:36including tracks such as Romantic Homicide, Here With Me
- 1:13:39and Worthless. She also recalled seeing a
- 1:13:42funeral casket positioned at the venue entrance, something she
- 1:13:46now says feels deeply disturbing in hindsight.
- 1:13:49Quote, there was a funeral casket set up.
- 1:13:51It's unsettling to think of now with all the new information.
- 1:13:55From what I recall, I believe the casket set up was right at
- 1:13:58the entrance once we entered the venue.
- 1:14:00I'm not going to continue the the article you.
- 1:14:04There is a link in the description down below.
- 1:14:06But yes, gross. He wanted to get off stage.
- 1:14:11He's got this weird death cultiness about him.
- 1:14:16And now he is charged in the death of this beautiful,
- 1:14:20beautiful little girl who did nothing but be lured into his
- 1:14:26orbit and in my opinion anyway, and was essayed over a long,
- 1:14:32long period of time by a grown man, which is just absolutely
- 1:14:38disgusting. Now, Wanda, you're up.
- 1:14:41Wanda, do you think that we can have some transition music and
- 1:14:47we will go to some good news? Good.
- 1:14:54Wanda. Yes, fact.
- 1:14:59Keep it going, Wanda, keep it going.
- 1:15:01We're just just bring bring it down just a little bit.
- 1:15:04OK, while I read this good news. Hopefully that doesn't blare
- 1:15:10your ears out. We're going to bring it way
- 1:15:11back. Wanda.
- 1:15:12Here we go. All right, listen to this guy's
- 1:15:17Asiatic wild ass returns to Eastern Mongolia after 65 year
- 1:15:22isolation from landscape fencing.
- 1:15:26OK, Wanda, that's enough. Now it it's distracting, but
- 1:15:29thank you so much. You are a talent and a real
- 1:15:32addition to our team. This written in
- 1:15:36goodnewsnetwork.org by Andy Corbley.
- 1:15:39Let me repeat, Asiatic Wild ass. You know, I belong to a band
- 1:15:45when I was a teen, it was, I was young, I, I was 13 1/2 called
- 1:15:49Asiatic wild Ass. We, we just played it.
- 1:15:54It was, it was basically just kind of pop, synth pop music.
- 1:15:59We weren't very good, but we did synth pop music.
- 1:16:03And then we told scatological jokes in between songs.
- 1:16:07That was Asiatic wild ass, OK. The Asiatic wild ass, locally
- 1:16:12known as the Kulan Equus hemionus, has returned to
- 1:16:17eastern Mongolia and is showing clear signs of of reestablishing
- 1:16:22a population after more than 65 years of absence from the
- 1:16:27region. Why the absence, you ask?
- 1:16:30I think they're going to tell us.
- 1:16:31Look at those Beautiful Creatures.
- 1:16:34For decades fencing along the Trans Mongolian Railway, the TMR
- 1:16:38has restricted movement of the Coolan and other migratory
- 1:16:42species. Recent efforts to create safe
- 1:16:45crossing points are now allowing animals to move more freely
- 1:16:49across this barrier and recolonize their ancestral
- 1:16:52lands. Collaborative efforts between
- 1:16:55Wildlife Conservation Society, the Mongolian government and in
- 1:16:58country private partners have seen the fencing taken down
- 1:17:02along several stretches of the railway, while also designating
- 1:17:06A monitored safe passage zone last May near the China
- 1:17:09Mongolian border, also free of fencing.
- 1:17:12Findings published this month in the journal Oryx show that the
- 1:17:15interventions are working, the animals are responding to them,
- 1:17:18and that the cool on are now regularly present in multiple
- 1:17:22groups east of the TMR. You can continue reading this on Good
- 1:17:27News Network. There is a link in the
- 1:17:28description or the show notes which wherever you are watching
- 1:17:31or listening. But I love stories like that.
- 1:17:35I remember we used to drive Interstate 80 back and forth
- 1:17:39between Sacramento and Salt Lake.
- 1:17:40Just we did. I've made that trip so many
- 1:17:42times and I loved it when I started seeing construction that
- 1:17:47made land bridges over Interstate 80 so that the
- 1:17:50wildlife could safely pass this. So they put up tall fences and
- 1:17:55land bridges so that the animals wouldn't be killed on the
- 1:17:59highway and they could migrate. It was it's great.
- 1:18:02I love those stories. It makes me feel good and and
- 1:18:06I'm happy that Asiatic Wild Ass, which was once just a band name
- 1:18:11to me. Now, now I know it is the Coulon
- 1:18:15Scientific Hemiones is back in their ancestral lands and they
- 1:18:22are able to graze beautifully and freely.
- 1:18:26And they're probably food for predators too, but I won't think
- 1:18:28about that. That is your good news.
- 1:18:32Those are your headlines, true crime headlines.
- 1:18:43Okie, dokie. Let me just check in on your
- 1:18:45comments before we call it a day.
- 1:18:50Let's see, let's see, bring this one up duty.
- 1:18:58Ron says. Hello friends.
- 1:19:00Great to see you all here on the great GF channel.
- 1:19:03Ron, it is great to see you. Thank you very much for being
- 1:19:06here. Let's see Diannell, Dianelle
- 1:19:12says. I wish I could have regular
- 1:19:14pizza. Need to have gluten free.
- 1:19:17Yeah, see that's the thing. We have a daughter with celiac
- 1:19:21disease. So now we are a gluten free
- 1:19:23household. However, we have found some
- 1:19:27pretty good gluten free crust. I if if I make a gluten free
- 1:19:31crust and cook it right out of the gate, it is terrific.
- 1:19:35But if, if, if it's like an hour old, it's it's not good.
- 1:19:43Edith saying Gavin, what is? So what's taking so long for JLR
- 1:19:46to be arrested? I don't know.
- 1:19:48I, I imagine it has something to do with the district attorney's
- 1:19:51office. Let's see.
- 1:19:55Let me keep on going down. Italia says I live in the
- 1:20:01countryside in England. There is an Italian guy that
- 1:20:03drives around in a converted van with a pizza oven inside.
- 1:20:07What? He makes the best pizza and I
- 1:20:09look forward to him being in the area.
- 1:20:11That guys, listen, if you're in Western Pennsylvania and just
- 1:20:16need a business idea, I can't have gluten in the house, but I
- 1:20:19would gladly come out to my front porch for a guy in a van
- 1:20:23with a pizza oven. I would be there.
- 1:20:26Sherri says, OK, here come the haters.
- 1:20:30I don't like pizza. No Mooney saying, is this the
- 1:20:35paper thong trip? No, Mooney.
- 1:20:37No. As you know, I've been in Paris
- 1:20:40many times. I did not.
- 1:20:42The paper thong trip has nothing to do with either of my
- 1:20:45children. Has to do with my coworker.
- 1:20:51Oh, my goodness. Let's see what else Mooney says.
- 1:20:56Pink Floyd. Dark Side of the Moon was my
- 1:20:58first purchased LP. Yeah, I didn't.
- 1:21:02I didn't discover Floyd until well into adulthood.
- 1:21:07That was that was something that stoners listen to.
- 1:21:10And then I made a friend who was a Stoner and he's like, dude,
- 1:21:14you got to check it out. Pink Floyd, it was awesome.
- 1:21:17It was awesome. 3 Doxies, 1 Prince.
- 1:21:20First vinyl was Beatles Abbey Road.
- 1:21:22Great choice. Great choice.
- 1:21:27Let's see. Same 3 doxies, 1 Prince Gavin
- 1:21:30parents took us all to an anti Vietnam protest.
- 1:21:32It was really fun and nonviolent.
- 1:21:34Awesome. Awesome.
- 1:21:39Let's see. OK, I'm just going to call you
- 1:21:41Bjorn. OK, Bjorn says.
- 1:21:43My first album was the Scottish band Bay City Rollers single bot
- 1:21:48in the 70s. Awesome.
- 1:21:50It's good to have vinyl. Good to have vinyl, Christine.
- 1:21:57Let's see. Good for you, Christine.
- 1:21:59I, I, I, Christine, I love your comment.
- 1:22:05I'm not going to show it though, but I am so happy for you that
- 1:22:10that you never went back. Good on you.
- 1:22:15Let's see if there's anything else, if there's anything else
- 1:22:20that let's see, wholesome, wholesomely petty.
- 1:22:26That's great. Nice.
- 1:22:28You had a good childhood, Gavin. Some of us didn't.
- 1:22:30So it's bittersweet. Yeah.
- 1:22:31Like I recognize that right now I'm working on a long form, a
- 1:22:35long series in my day job where I'm writing a a piece about drug
- 1:22:43addiction and the drug epidemic that happened here in Western
- 1:22:47Pennsylvania kind of starting in the late 80s, early 90s is still
- 1:22:50going. And I've interviewed so many
- 1:22:53people. And in my interviews, I just am
- 1:22:57continually thinking, my goodness, did I win the family
- 1:23:02lottery, right? I did nothing to deserve it.
- 1:23:06But I was born into a family that my parents loved and
- 1:23:11continue to love each other 59 years later.
- 1:23:15And siblings who I love, like respect, would walk through the
- 1:23:22very gates of hell for and and all of them anyway.
- 1:23:28I recognize that it's a blessing that many people, including my
- 1:23:33own close friends that lived in the same neighborhoods, went to
- 1:23:36the same school, same churches, right, didn't have that.
- 1:23:41And so I, Yeah, however, I hope that while you, while some
- 1:23:50people didn't have, while many people didn't have that same
- 1:23:54kind of idyllic childhood, that that there are places you can go
- 1:23:59in your memory that are sweet. I hope so.
- 1:24:04Robin says sometimes we eat what we always call cheap pizza
- 1:24:08night, something about that and a cold soda.
- 1:24:10Yeah. Like a Little Caesars or
- 1:24:11something like that. That's, that's good.
