"Can you just commit for 45 minutes?" That's what I asked my dad on my mom's birthday, with the game about to come on. He looked at me like I'd asked him to move to another country. But I had a plan: a coloring party.
In this episode, I share how a coloring devotional, a set of good pencils, a Texas birthday cake and my mom's favorite country music turned 45 minutes into two hours of my parents, both seasoned saints in their 80s, delighted and absorbed at the same table.
