- Denise: Hello everyone and welcome to another episode of From Sad Pick Me Girl to Alchemist. Today I am so excited to have Amanda here. She is a soul reflection guide. And before I have her introduce herself and more of what she does, I would like to preface by explaining why I decided to have Amanda on the podcast. And so if you're new here, the reason that I highlight other healers is because when I was deeply depressed and feeling like I didn't really know what I wanted out of life, or if I even wanted to continue to be real, I used unconventional modalities to pull myself out of the That and really find purpose and meaning behind why we're here on earth. I deeply believe in soul contracts, in spirituality, that we all have a reason for being here. And once we uncover that reason, our life starts to unfold in beautiful ways. So I always get really excited to see where the conversations lead for people that are doing the work, that are living their purpose, and are helping others to do the same. Because ultimately, when we find our purpose, we help others find theirs, and it's just this beautiful collective rising. So with that, Amanda, I Yeah. Yeah. Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: my gosh, that's so cool. I love that you're doing that. hi. Well, thank you so much for having me. as you said, my name is Amanda. I am a soul reflection guide. and what that means essentially is I found that one of my beautiful gifts that I get to share with the world is reflecting your own wisdom back to you. so I love getting to do that with my clients. and essentially I walk alongside them while they're going through their spiritual awakening, whether it's the first or the tenth, and really help them come back home to themselves. and that has been just a joy of my life getting to do that. so yeah, I'm excited to be here and share a little bit more about the journey and all that good stuff. Denise: Yeah. Yeah. Can you explain what a spiritual awakening is? Because I I think that oftentimes it comes with this feeling of discomfort and this knowing that something is off but people don't and I don't want to say off, but just something feels like heavy and and Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: Yeah. Denise: they don't quite know. And so if you could touch on what a spiritual awakening is, that would be great. Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: Yeah, I think we can pair it up with with sometimes with life events. Sometimes it's just this this feeling that there's more out there. it usually comes at these points. For some people it's a very extreme event that kind of has them go, my gosh, there's more out there. and for others, like myself, it was more of this feeling that that there was something else that I was meant to do, this restlessness, this confusion. And really seeing that, this is like there's something more here. I really believe that we're here to be ourselves. That's that's kind of our path. And I think that a spiritual awakening is that moment where you're like, I'm not being myself. Like this actually doesn't work. Denise: Yes. Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: and and it's this call back home to you. Denise: Mm-hmm. Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: and that's really cool because it it can be wildly uncomfortable, and it is. It that there's no way around that. I think coming back to yourself is incredibly uncomfortable, and not the fact of the being yourself, because that feels amazing, but it's the releasing of years and years of conditioning of being told that who you are is wrong, that you need to change, that you need to be something that you're not. And so that part is is heavy and and it's not fun to walk through. but the being yourself part, it is good. And when you realize that magic hasn't gone anywhere, it wasn't just something you made up as a kid, It's here and it's real and it's flowing through all of us. it's the best. It's so fun. It's so amazing. So there's two sides of the coin, but yeah, it's it's a little bit of both, but ultimately being yourself feels phenomenal. Denise: Right. And I think it takes a little bit of learning too to be yourself because we're so conditioned that if we show ourselves it's too weird or too much. And I've been telling people this very thing, you want to be yourself even if it's weird and even if it scares people off because that's how you filter through people that are not for you. And I do think that part of it is understanding that not everyone is aligned with you. Does that mean that everyone is bad that isn't aligned? No, it's just that there's no resonance or they're not your people. Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: Right. that is so true and I love it so much because like logically I was always like, yeah, that's true. as someone who kind of lived through the being told that who I was wasn't great and kind of became a people pleaser because of it. it that piece of trying to be okay with people not liking me and not getting me it was it was very difficult but you're absolutely right because those are the people who aren't meant for you and it's okay to be you and the people who just aren't there for that just don't get that you're not too much right people just can't handle the you that you are yeah Denise: Right, exactly. And you accept it and you carry on. But I think that when you come home to yourself you are able to sit with that and accept it more than when you're so disconnected where you think that that's a reflection of who you are as a person. you mentioned coming home to yourself as one of the things that you help people with. What does that look like? Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: Yeah, so one of the biggest parts of that, I think, is to fully shift how you're walking through the world. because when we're kind of holding on to this idea that there's a part of us that needs to change, whether we logically know that's not true or not, we may be still holding on to this piece that's like, yeah, but not this part of me, right? The rest of me's good, deserving of good. Not this part. What we do and what I think a big part of coming home to you is to go Wait though, what what if what if the way that you wish to live in this world is right for you? What if all the parts of you are good right now today, and are deserving of good things? What if you, as just who you are, is magic, is living in your purpose, using your gifts? and it's this big kind of reflection back of seeing themselves in a different way. instead of seeing themselves as this being that needs to try to fit in or to shift and to change, instead to go, No, you just need to exist exactly as you are. Lean into it even, instead of trying to like pull out of it. I'm like lean all the way in. and that can really be something that's incredibly freeing and it's like a huge perspective change because when that when you're kind of coming home to you, it's actually being you and existing as you and what that looks Denise: Yeah. Yeah. Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: like. Denise: Definitely. And I would love to get your take on this because I w was having a discussion with somebody, I think, earlier last week, and we were talking about how purpose isn't always career based. And I said it was, and he thought maybe it is, and that we just have people that are disconnected from themselves, so they stay in roles that aren't fulfilling forever, and some people decide not to. what do you think about that? Because it made me think. I always thought purpose wasn't career driven or whatever it is for everyone. But I do know in my soul I feel like it is, and I feel like one of the things that I continue to struggle with is how to make my purpose something that is sustainable with the integrity part because I care about what I do. I'm sitting here podcasting because to me it means a lot to help But I also have this stability piece that takes a lot of my energy. So it's like Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: Right. Denise: living in two worlds is difficult. And performing in the way that I'm supposed to perform Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: Yeah. Denise: and doing what I love to do is a challenge. And I think that a lot Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: Yeah. Mm-hmm. Denise: of people can probably relate to that because they're like, I want to do something else, but how do I live? I still have to live. Like I I have to afford life. Yeah. Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: Right. Yeah. Right. It's that balance is is tough for me too, honestly. I have a bit of a different take on purpose. I tend to not see purpose as what you do, but as Denise: Hm. Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: who you are. And our purpose is to be who we are in this world. Every single one of us. And when we are who we are, we naturally do the things that we are here to do. Whether we are consciously doing that or subconsciously doing it, because I can promise you that you have been living in your purpose this whole time. You've been helping people in the way that you're here to do. and it's really beautiful. And we can attach what's cool about this is when we are who we are and we're living in that purpose by being ourselves, we Denise: Yeah. Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: get to choose. Now we get to choose how we do that, right? It can just be by existing. Denise: Right. Yeah. Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: Maybe you want to create. Maybe you want that to be your career and you want to like I love doing what I'm here to do in my career. I love it. But other people might not want to do that, but that's okay because you're you're doing it anyway, as long as you are actively trying to be yourself. so I think Denise: Yeah. Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: it's actually a lot more simple than we make it out to be. and it takes a little bit of that pressure off of like this, I have to have it figured out, I have to live in my purpose, I Denise: Yeah. Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: have to do the right thing, or otherwise I'm failing at life. And I'm like, no, no, you're already living in your purpose. Denise: Yeah. Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: And the more you're you, the deeper that happens. And the more you see the gifts that you possess, right? Because again, you're already using them. And that's a s conversation for another day, but is this idea that like you're already using your gifts too. Everything else is like maybe the tools that you wanna use, maybe how you wanna do it, but ultimately you're doing it. and I th I have just found that that just I went, okay. There's no pressure here. I just get to be myself and trust that I'm helping others. and and paying attention to the effect that you have on other people too, because it's it's massive and it's important. Denise: Right, yeah. And the more that you step into it, the more things unfold. I think I I like to share these things because I know there are people out there that are hesitant about being themselves and sharing what they want to share and they think Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: Absolutely. Denise: that nobody cares. And I promise you we've all struggled with that. I don't know if you struggled with that, but at some point Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: definitely. Denise: I share a lot on social media and sometimes I'm like, is this lying on deaf ears? And I always get a beautiful message of somebody who it resonates with. And that's the point. That is the Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: Yeah. Denise: entire point. And I think, my gosh, nobody's listening. And people are. And so we Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: There. Denise: all have those thoughts. But our people cannot find us if we don't share who we are. And when I say our people, Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: Yeah. Denise: I believe in soul contracts. what is your viewpoint on those? And if you can explain what your interpretation of them is Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: definitely. I absolutely agree that there are people in our lives that we are meant to meet up with, right? Whether that's to like for a like to learn something about ourselves, to help activate something to grow, whether it's for a moment, a season, a lifetime. yeah, absolutely. because I mean we're all connected and it just makes sense that our souls find each other and we're helping each other. even when maybe on an earthly level we're not quite aware of how that's all working. on a soul level, on an energetic level, yeah, I absolutely agree. We there's so much going on. There's so many things that are helping us be who we are. even when those lessons kind of suck, it's still it's still helping us. Denise: Yeah. A lot of them suck, Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: Right. A lot of them suck. I mean, let's be real. Denise: right? Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: We've all had those people who've come in to teach us a lesson about ourselves. It's not great. Denise: Oof yeah. No. Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: but but ultimately we we do end up better for it, most of the Denise: Yeah. Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: time. Not to take away from the experience. But yeah, Denise: Yeah. Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: and I I do, I agree. I think it's it's important and it's a part of this this journey. Denise: Yeah. I also shared something the other day about how soul how each soul we encounter is often a door, a window, or a mirror. Have you heard that theory? Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: Ooh. I I feel like I have, but I really like it. Denise: Yeah. And it was interesting. It got a lot I I think it's not only I don't want to say it's a fun one we put a purpose, but it puts meaning behind every experience that we have. And I think as humans that's what we crave. And it's Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: Yeah. Yes. Denise: n not this falsehood. I deeply believe these things to be true. So I think Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: Yeah. Denise: that when we come home to ourselves we find the people that are also trying to do the same and we're all just living this beautiful human experience that we came here to live. And I would love to touch on how you got into this work and what is it I know you said you felt like there was more, but was there a specific moment? what did the path look like? Yeah. Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: yeah. So I started always a weird kid. Very like stop talking so much. just kind of doing my own thing. and I ended up learning that that wasn't great, that was too much for people. So I started kind of slowly kind of making myself smaller essentially. and that kind of led me to taking a job in corporate, to like kind of doing things and and It worked for a while. but then I had my first child and I had a year off because in Canada we get a year off. it was enough time though to being away. When I went back, I was like, What am I doing? Like I have changed on a fundamental level. and I was just like, This isn't gonna work for me. I I can't keep doing this. so I started to to make a plan to exit corporate. And I say make a plan. I say that very loosely. I kind of just went, Well, I'm not gonna w I I gotta figure something out. so still in kind of that I need to make myself small, people-pleasing mode, I kind of did what someone went, you should do this, and I was like, Yes, I should. So I started like a personal training business for moms. Denise: Wait, that's so funny because I've done something similar. Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: Did you and and like in retrospect it was absolutely because someone suggested it and I went, yeah, okay. That's cool. Yeah. Right? I'm like, I was big into running before. Denise: You were like, it sounds cool, it sounds fun. It's so funny. I don't know if I knew that. That is so hilarious. Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: Absolutely what I did. I was like, yeah, sure, I'll do this. so Denise: Yeah. Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: I started doing that and it was fine. and then I had my second daughter and I was like, I can't go back after this. Denise: Yeah. Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: so I really leaned into into this job and what what was so funny is by the end when I kind of went, okay, I this isn't for me anymore, I was literally just telling moms why they didn't have to work out, and how like it was okay to be them and to listen to their bodies and like they don't actually have to do this. And I was like, yeah, this probably isn't for me. Okay. and then the the big moment though for me was when I went to my friend's house and she had Oracle cards and I had kind of been passed down like this. We're very we don't like we believe deeply in it as a family, but we don't do it because it's scary and like I have an uncle who predicted someone's death with tarot cards anyway, the usual, of like fear. so when I touched these oracle cards and I pulled one and I went, this isn't scary. I'm like this is awesome. this is for uplifting and it it's so beautiful. Denise: Yeah. It's beautiful. Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: and that's when I started to go, Okay, there's something more here. and Denise: Yeah. Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: because I'm me, I don't I just do things. So I was like, okay, I'm gonna switch spiritual business now. so I started just doing kind of spiritual more spiritual stuff, doing readings and stuff like that. And and the more I did that, the more I realized that there was still more, right? So that spiritual awakening for me happened with those cards, and then it grew Denise: Mm-hmm. Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: as I began to do readings and I began to see the thread that kept flowing through everything was always helping people come back to themselves. Denise: Yeah. Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: and I was like, okay, this is cool. And I'm like, I it's more than readings. So I I've turned it much more into more intuitive sessions than it is readings. And I get to do that in like the in an intentional way. I was already doing it. I was doing it when I was a personal trainer. Heck, I was doing it when I was in corporate, helping people Denise: Yeah. Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: trust themselves and be themselves. But now I get to do it in the most intentional way. And I love it. And it's the best. Denise: I always think too so me putting out that I wanted to speak to people and putting out the honesty of why it's funny Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: Yeah. Denise: because the parallels in our stories are so similar from the corporate, from the personal training, from the Oracle deck. So that was my first Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: I love it. Denise: and I always say get an Oracle deck if you want to connect to your Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: Thousand percent. Denise: guides and you don't have because I feel like tarot requires a level of interpretation and we'll say Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: Yes. Denise: I'm not a huge fan of tarot, not for anything like I've gone Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: For me, it's too structured. And I and I know Denise: Yeah. Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: it doesn't have to be, but just my initial was like, nope, this isn't for me. But Oracle cards, a thousand percent. Yep. Yeah. Denise: Right. Yeah, like and I feel like there's a little bit of energy, not manipulation, but your energy could impact the tarot cards that you pull and it's just not whereas oracles, the messages are always so beautiful and so uplifting and not that they're not in tarot, it's just a different perspective. So I always say Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: Yes. Yeah, different energy. Denise: to people, if you want to connect with your spirit guides, that is a way to do Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: Agreed. Denise: it. Just say, what do I need to know right now? And And then pull it and see what comes up. And you often will know. there is this little voice that comes in that was like, Am I making stuff up? Am I making but Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: Yes. Right? I always say for a tool, if someone wants a tool, Oracle is such a beautiful way to do it, especially if you have any fear too around it. I'm like Oracle is a great intro to this because, like you said, it's very it's very light. and it can be really helpful. my other way of people connecting is to realize that they already have been. Which goes in the same vein as the purpose. Is this idea that you you already are connected to your intuition and a lot of people who are drawn to me, it's their voice is how they share their gifts with the world. And so I'm very much like when you're talking, when you're having a conversation with people, there's probably been this moment where you feel like you're in flow or you don't know where that information came from. and you're just sharing it and it's like really impacting the person in front of you. And I'm like, you're already that's you're doing it, you're channeling, you're already Like tapping into that intuition. and and it's really cool to see people's perspective on themselves change. because I'm very much a you're not starting from scratch here. You're just understanding how you've already been doing this. Denise: Yeah. Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: and then from there we can start to go, okay. Do you want a tool to use? We can do things like mediumship or cards or whatever it is, but I really believe. the the best thing to do is to build the confidence and the and to understand that you're already doing it. and then once you kind of have that like, I am magical, cool, you continue on from there. Denise: Yeah. And I love that that is so true because even when I share things sometimes I'm like, where did that even come from? Or how does that I go into preacher mode and then I I I say I call it preacher mode because it feels like I'm preaching and I don't even think about what I'm saying. I'm just it it flows. Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: Yeah. Yeah. Denise: So it really is strengthening that connection to ourselves. Yeah. Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: Yeah, it's like this really cool channel you're literally like just channeling through. yeah, I d I do the same thing all the time. I'm probably doing it now when I talk. but Denise: Yeah, no. Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: yeah, it's really it's it's cool. And when you like kind of realize it, and I bet people who are listening, you're doing it too. Denise: Right. Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: like pay attention to it and Denise: Yes. Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: and start to actually treat it like the magical gift that it is because it's gonna help you build confidence and trust in yourself and walk a little taller and act a little bit different in this world, which is what you deserve to do. Denise: So going back on gifts too, I want to touch on I used to think that in order to To say you have gifts meant that you were either gifted or you were not. You came to this earth and you either had this skill set or you didn't. And what I've learned is that all of us can develop we'll call it these gifts. It's just which ones we want to lean into Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: Yeah. Yeah. Denise: and which ones we feel nudged to, or and some of us may not feel a nudge to tap into any of them, but usually when you go through a spiritual awakening and you want to help other people, there are some that you want to use, myself included. And so Why do you think that some people though are more even they don't ask for it per se, right? They just start to get messages and then they realize they have to lean into it, whereas other people really have to work towards it. what is your theory on why that happens? Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: Yeah, I I'm not completely sure to be honest, why it comes through differently for different people. Actually, i if I was going to make like a like a theory. It would be just how that person is meant to receive it in the way that they're meant to. so some people may be meant to kind of get it all at once and then process. That may be part of the healing journey that they're on. It may be part of how they grow. whereas people who need to kind of piece it together may just need it a little bit less if they're going to keep going and keep like looking into this. Whereas if they got it all at once, they may just shut it Down completely and be like, absolutely not. So I think what's happening is we're kind of receiving things in the way that we can best kind of grow. I mean that that of course there's always going to be instances where people are like, no, thank you. but I really do feel like there is some kind of correlation to being given something in the way that you need it or that helps with the growth journey that you're already on. Denise: Right. That makes sense. Maybe it's something that your soul's like, All right, you need to we're gonna show you this gift and you're gonna s have to st either lean into it or decide Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: Yes. Denise: not. And for some of us I think that it's less I used to think that I wanted to be a gifted we'll call it psychic because I wanted the outcome of everything. And that's such an ego based way to go about life. It's laughable. Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: I feel like that's such a thing that we all want, at the beginning where I'm like, Yeah, I want just a voice to talk to me and then later I'm like, No, I don't. I don't I I'm good. Denise: Yeah, no, I don't. Yeah. Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: The way it's coming through is perfect for me. Denise: Yeah. And what I've realized too is when you start to connect to yourself, part of it is leaning into trust. And the more that you're able to lean into trusting that you're not going to know the outcome, the more beautiful things become. Because if you want to know the answer, I used to want to be, I'm gonna go to the psychic and tell them, is this guy right for me? Like they ever gonna like they're gonna say yes because honestly, those people that are quote unquote wrong for us teach us something about ourselves as we mentioned earlier. So it's not that they're right for us in the way that we think that they're gonna be this happily ever. After, but we need to learn something from the people that Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: Right. Denise: come into our lives. So, tying this back to what you do, when people come to you, what are typically the things that they're dealing with or struggling with or want an outcome from? What is it that draws them towards you? And how do you find these people or they find you, attract these people? I don't know if that's the right word. Sometimes Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: Yeah. Denise: yeah, stumble upon you, whatever you want to use. How do they? Find out what you do and what makes them decide that they want to work with you. Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: Yeah, so often people have heard me speak, whether that's on social media or through podcasts or whatever it may be. the amount of people who I've had come to me who are like, I don't know why I'm drawn to you, but I'm here and it feels right. and I love it. Cause I'm always like, Yes, this is exactly right. Denise: You're my person. Yeah. Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: they're usually people who have always been different. who are ready to actually be who they are. to embrace that. they may not even know. they just know something needs to change. and we get to kind of work together to to show them that they never needed to change. Like who they are is perfect. And instead of me teaching them anything. I'm mostly helping them change the perspective of how they see themselves and understand the gifts that they already possess. and kind of throwing all the rule book out. Cause I think sometimes when people are coming and they know something needs to change, it's not right. The life that they're living isn't right. especially people who are former people pleasers or people who feel like they need to change, they're looking for Another box essentially to be put in, some rules, some steps. and so the very first thing we do is I'm like, it's gonna be uncomfortable, but we are chucking the rules out the window. And like this is gonna be about you following what feels right for you. and I am basically like a cheerleader support team to be like, yeah, this is right, you're doing like this is amazing. Like, look at you go. as they are walking on their own path and remembering like all of Magic that's within them. So kind of going from that feeling of just being like, this isn't right, something needs to change, I need help, I want to understand myself better. and then getting it all reflected back to them, changing their perspective on themselves and realizing that there was nothing ever wrong with me, and it's okay to just take those layers off. And actually, when I'm who I am, I'm living in my purpose, sharing my gifts, and doing all of that. Denise: Yeah. And do you find them shifting externally as far as changing their circumstances, whether it's job, whether it's relationship, family, anything like that? Yeah. Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: Absolutely. Yeah. I've walked with people through starting a new job, quitting theirs, creating a job from their spiritual gifts, which is always so fun to get to do. we walk through harder things like divorce, moving, like major life changes usually come from from this work. not immediately. Sometimes it's it it takes obviously it takes the time it takes. We're not gonna force anything. but yeah, big big big transformation happens because they see themselves differently and they realize what they deserve. Denise: Yeah. I like what you said about throwing rules because I have been very checklist oriented, rule based. I need step by step processes. And sometimes when you're following your purpose, it's not a step by step. The step is listening Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: I am. Denise: to yourself and then following the nudges. You're not gonna get this beautiful like and then it's point A, point B, and I want I want A to C. Like, but we're I need to understand that Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: Right, I know it's so hard. Denise: that's not gonna happen. So I love when I have guests on this because sometimes it feels like you're speaking to me, but I know that it's going to be speaking to people that are listening that are in similar situations and in much the same way that you just said people are drawn to you. That's how it works. You're drawn Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: Yeah. Yeah. Denise: to certain people because there is something that you're to learn from that person or there's Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: Absolutely. Denise: some sort sort of resonance and we don't get to know Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: Mm-hmm. Denise: what that is. And I think That's the magic of it. We don't get to I'm Bela and I'm always trying to guess. I wonder what my this is part of being I guess a spiritual person is you always want to understand the meaning behind things and sometimes sometimes you just have to let them be Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: Yes. yeah. You can't sometimes, I know. That's the hardest part. I'm definitely a like really would like to where this is going. but the universe always gives me just little breadcrumbs just to keep me moving. And I was like, it's Denise: Yeah. Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: it's still not great. I've been doing this for a while and I'm still annoyed. So no one's alone in that. the Denise: Yeah. I know. Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: the one thing I will say too about not having rules with things, is if you think about it, you're somebody who has always been different, or I I am too, the people I work with are. And Denise: Yeah. Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: so when we're following rules or steps that somebody else has created, we're doing it their way. We're we're looking at it from a very Denise: Yeah. Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: structured position. Whereas if you're somebody different, you like see the world differently, you're probably meant to come here and do things differently. So when you throw the rules out the window and you just get to explore Explore these things on your own, you may find a whole new way of doing something that you would never have before because you were following the rules. So that's a big part of like checking the rules out the window because you're so you can figure out your cool way of doing it because I've seen time and time again people finding like this such a cool way of doing something that I'd never thought of. And yeah, I love seeing that. So Denise: Yeah, I absolutely love this. I think that in this day and age too, one of the things that we struggle with is always wanting some external, I don't want to say validation, it's not the right word, but something that's like I'm on the right track. So now I always tell people we are developing this dependence even on Chat GBT. Like that is just listen to yourself. You don't need like sure you can use these tools, but if you start to not listen to yourself and listen Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: Mm-hmm. Denise: to these things more and say, they know best, then you're still gonna veer off course, right? Exactly. Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: You're still doing it somebody else's way. Yeah. Yeah. Denise: Exactly. So I'm like, you already knew the answer. Whatever it was before you started go, maybe that's not right, is it? Like that's the answer. Just do it. Yeah. Try that. And Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: Right. Like try that. Yeah. Yeah. And building that trust and confidence. Yeah. I love it. Denise: Yep, exactly. So I really love this. Yes. And and then if you could just have any final thoughts for people that are in this phase where they're meant for more and they don't know where to start, what would be your biggest piece of advice? Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: So I think when we know that we're meant for more, we're not sure what to do, instantly our thoughts are, I need to look outside of myself. I need to get somebody maybe to tell me what to do. and I would say, as hard as it is to not do that, to pause and sit with yourself and kind of go. What do I want? Where where am I feeling drawn to? What is something I want to try out? What is that quiet voice in my head telling me? and listening to that and pouring into yourself, showing yourself that you matter. maybe putting up some boundaries, whatever it is, just take the energy that you want to put outside of yourself and turn it to you. because that is how you're going to start to hear yourself. and it's also like this big, I think, show to the universe that you care about you when you start to pour into yourself. Don't be wrong, it's not easy to do this. It's hard. Lots of stuff comes up, but as best you can. Try to do that first. Explore things for you first. and then, yeah, then seek out like guidance or support. but a thousand percent look within first. Denise: It's beautiful. Well, thank you so much, Amanda, for being here today. Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: Thank you. Denise: I will link Amanda's information in the show notes so that you can find her. And I just want to close off by encouraging everyone to sit with themselves. I always say the best way to progress in life is to learn who you are at your core outside of the noise. So with that, Amanda Soul Reflection Guide: Love it. Denise: yeah, thank you all so much for listening and I will see you all next week.
