All right, let's keep going. Johnna: and seeking that out. Like I, I don't believe that I've had to seek out joy as much as I have had to. Clint: seeking that out. Like I, I don't believe that I've had to seek out joy as much as I have had to. I don't. Johnna: I don't fricking know in the last year. I really don't know. Like probably less than a year, I would say through the fall and winter months. But, and I think it's because life has been heavy. talked about this on the last podcast. There's a lot of stress and you know, you, you want to be informed, but you don't want to be informed. And how do you balance that out? And then it just starts to concave on you. And then you're like, Clint: really don't know. Like probably less than a year, I would say, through the fall and winter months. and I think it's because life has been heavy. We talked about this on the last podcast. There's a lot of stress and... You know, you want to be informed, but you don't want to be informed. And how do you balance that out? And then it just starts to concave on you. And then you're like, where is the joy? Why am I here? What is my purpose? Those are some big things and different things. So let's start getting into them. What are we talking about with joy, first of all? Johnna: Where is the joy? Why am I here? What is my purpose? Those are some big things and different things. So let's start getting into them. What are we talking about? I would say for me, can't speak for everyone, but really what brings you joy? Do you know as a human, what brings you joy? What is that? It could be sitting at home with a bowl of soup. It could be going for a walk. It could be reading a book, whatever that thing is for the individual. Clint: say for me, can't speak for everyone, but really, what brings you joy? Do you know as a human, what brings you joy? What is that? It could be sitting at home with a bowl of soup. It could be going for a walk. It could be reading a book, whatever that thing is for the individual. So are joy and happiness synonymous? Or is it a different thing? Are we talking about something different? Being happy versus finding joy. Johnna: and happiness. being happy versus finding joy. think happiness is an inside job. Like you have to do a lot of work to find happiness in life. It's a frequency. Joy also has that, you know, ⁓ definition, but I'm talking about finding joy and living on this planet. Clint: Like you have to do a lot of. in life. It's a frequency. Joy also has that, you know, Johnna: maybe outside of yourself. You know what I mean? Because you can't just sit with yourself all the time and feel, feel joy about it. You know what I mean? Like doing the things that give you those feelings of euphoria, of bliss, of peace, whatever that is. And I believe that right now it's imperative for humans to do that. So what kinds of things Clint: Oh, I'm happy I know I'm happy whatever that is. And I believe that right now it's imperative for humans to do that. So what kinds of things have you been doing to find joy since you've been seeking it out recently? Well, it's really difficult for me in the winter months to find those things because I'm not someone who enjoys any kind of activity. And it's more like the light. Johnna: Well, it's really difficult for me in the winter months to find those things because I'm not someone who enjoys any kind of winter activity. And it's more like the light, right? I mean, you and I have had this conversation. It's not so much that I just need it to be warm all the time. It's the lack of light that then just it wears on you over time. But recently, Clint: I mean you and I have had this conversation. It's not so much that I just need it to be warm all the time. It's the lack of light that then just it wears on you over time. But recently I kind of decided to cut loose because I live in a very intense world. My world that I have created within myself is very intense. Johnna: I kind of decided to cut loose because I live in a very intense world. My world that I have created within myself is very intense. I read people, people energetically, I feel things. I, I just live in a different reality. We all do, whether you believe that or not, everyone is living in a different reality. And recently, ⁓ Clint was like, Hey, Clint: I read people energetically, I feel things, I just live in a different reality. We all do. Believe it or not, everyone is living in a different reality. And recently, ⁓ it was like, hey, it's so cute. Johnna: Let's go to somewhere and that somewhere happened to be Coeur d'Alene. He took me to Coeur d'Alene this last weekend and we had a really good time. It was a change of scenery. It wasn't something, at least on Saturday, it wasn't like, okay, we're going to glob on a little bit of fun, but we have this massive, you know, meeting or big gnarly thing that we're going to glob some fun on to. It just was nothing but fun. And we were able to, you know, go to Coeur d'Alene and enjoy Coeur d'Alene. And then we stopped in and we looked at campers because our life is going to change massively. And we thought, let's go look at campers. And it was super fun because we didn't go there with like, can only look in this price range or this size range or anything like that. We looked at every single thing on the lot and I felt like a kid. It was like, ⁓ what's in this one? ⁓ it's in that one. And I'm not saying that camper shopping is like, you know, the funnest, most joyful thing ever. But because I live in such an intense world all the time, it was just fun to like let loose. And then after that, Clint: He's like, ⁓ what can this do? ⁓ what can that do? Yeah. Johnna: We went bar hopping. Yes, I just said that people. Jonna went bar hopping. Not for the I want to get massively drunk. However, I did have a couple of gin and tonics and I had to eat a lot to ⁓ make sure that that wasn't ⁓ causing a problem because I like to be sober. But it was fun to observe the places that we went. Right. mean, let's talk about Clint: So we discovered something about RV shopping, because we'd never been before. we went to the first place. We just wanted to go because we were just looking at everything. We wanted to go to a big place with lots of different stuff. And it turns out at some of them, you have to have a salesperson escort you around. Johnna: Yeah, that was shocking. Like you couldn't just walk the lot by yourself. You had to have someone else carry you around. So we found a different one. Yeah. Didn't have to have that. And then it was fantastic. Clint: lot yeah yeah so we found a different one where you didn't have to have that and then it was fantastic I mean we probably spent an hour or more it was yeah Johnna: I don't know. I'm sure it was longer than an hour. I mean, it was a long time and it didn't even, it was fun. Like, you know, just dreaming, doing all the dreams, hopes and dreams. Yeah. And so it's kind of a cool thing, even if you're not necessarily in the market, just for something different to do. Yeah. Especially if you're a camper person or whatever. But that just reminded. Clint: Mm-hmm. Yeah, and so it's kind of a cool thing, even if you're not necessarily in the market, just for something different to do. ⁓ But that just reminded me, and then I'm gonna get into the bar stuff, because that was fascinating. It reminded me just, when you think about joy and having joy, it doesn't have to be immense. It doesn't have to be even like the Coeur d'Alene thing. We just went there, walked downtown a little bit. It was really windy, so it wasn't, we didn't hang out at the lake a bunch and had a lovely brunch. Johnna: Yeah. Enjoy. No. doesn't have to be even like the Coeur d'Alene thing. We just went there, walked downtown a little bit. It was really windy. So it wasn't we didn't hang out at the lake a bunch and had a lovely brunch. Yeah. So it wasn't anything like mind blowingly amazing, but it brought so much joy. Clint: So it wasn't anything like mind-blowingly amazing, but it brought so much joy. So I think that's, I think it's important as you're listening to this or just thinking about that whole concept, you can, I mean, it's such a cliche, but you can find joy in small things. It doesn't have to be, ⁓ I'm going to this amazing once in a lifetime concert. Now I'm gonna have some joy in my life. It can be. ⁓ Johnna: Yeah. I think it's important as you're listening to this or just thinking about that whole concept, you can. mean, it's such a cliche, but you can find joy in small things. You can't have to be. I'm going to this amazing once in a lifetime concert. Now I'm to have some joy in my life. Yeah. You do just have to be present, you know, because I know that even when we're just kicking it in our area, just going for a drive brings joy. Going for a walk, like I said earlier, There are things that can bring joy. I believe that right now it's really important listeners that we pour into that. Like I believe now that it is a necessity. It's not just like, ⁓ I'll find something fun to do when I have the time or blah, blah, blah. I feel like for mental health. ⁓ It's a necessity because things are just super heavy and you have to have joy and able to just have the capacity to digest, you know, the craziness of the world. anyway, so we went bar hopping. We did. And the only criteria. Clint: ⁓ So we went bar hopping and the only criteria for those of you familiar with the with Spokane area where we're staying we're out in the valley so we're like let's just stick around here didn't want to go downtown and or you know far away let me stay close to the hotel Johnna: Yeah. And we were looking for live music. Yeah. And I basically told Clint because he's like, Oh my gosh, that's what you want to do. Like he felt all this pressure. I'm like, I literally could care less where we go. I want some kind of live music or karaoke, something to distract me. Clint: and we were looking for live music. distract me from the scene because energetically the scene can be a lot for me to handle. I'm absorbing all that energy, I'm reading the room, it can be a lot. So I needed something and music is always just close to my soul to be able to focus on. Johnna: you know, from the scene because energetically the scene can be a lot for me to handle. Like I'm absorbing all that energy. I'm reading the room. It can be a lot. So I needed something and music is always just close to my soul to be able to focus on. Yeah. Clint: Yeah, so the first place we went, there were a handful. So the first place we went was a dive bar. I mean, if you created a dive bar, it would be this place, which I love. Dive bars are near and dear to my heart, but. Johnna: Yeah ⁓ Clint: went in there and we weren't sure. They just said maybe it's gonna have live music. It does sometimes. We're like, hey, let's give it a shot. And so we walked in and they did. It was an older guy just solo with his guitar singing. ⁓ Johnna: in there and we weren't sure they just said maybe it's gonna have live music it does yeah yeah and he was good yeah he was yeah like every Clint: older stuff and he was good. I mean he was good and it was full but not packed. Like every table you know there's some standing tables, some seating tables, everything was full but it wasn't just like crowded you know anything and it was a bunch of people that looked like I mean it was Saturday right so it wasn't like after work but that kind of a feel. Johnna: It was a bunch of people that looked like, I mean, it was Saturday. Yeah. So it wasn't like after work, but that's kind of a feel. Yeah. And it was really interesting because I looked around and I'm like, oh, all these people look old. And then I told Clint, I'm like, they're all our age or like a decade older, you know, five years younger. But was great when we first walked in, too, because a lady who seems like she's probably a local. Yeah. I mean, they all seem like they were probably. Yeah. Clint: It was great when we first walked in too because a lady who seems like she's probably a local I mean they all seem like they were probably locals, but she waved at us, you know Johnna: Yeah, I know it was very it was very welcoming and as I sat there and I just observed the thing that was really just so curious was no one had their phone out scanning or scrolling or anything. Everyone was super present in their little party, their little group of friends that were gathering and they were laughing. And again, no one was like trashed, right? It wasn't a for being a dive bar and maybe I'm just being judgy or whatever. ⁓ Clint: No one have their phone out. Johnna: Everyone was very coherent and having a good time and laughing and conversing. I was like, it really just kind of touched my heart. Like people are gathering and chatting and building relationships and looking at each other in the eye, like very present group of people. It very much had the feel of exactly what you're saying. They were there. Clint: It very much had the feel of Exactly what you're saying. They were there to be with whoever they were there with their circle Johnna: be with whoever they were there with. Yeah. They just happened to be drinking a beer. Yeah. And a drink or whatever. But it really didn't seem like anybody was just there. ⁓ I just got to get hammered and shut the world off. Right. I'm connecting with my world. Yeah. This is my world and I'm going to be part of it. So it great. We stayed there for a little while. Clint: They just happened to be drinking a beer or having a drink or whatever. But it really didn't seem like anybody was just there. ⁓ I just got to get hammered and shut the world off. It was I'm connecting with my world. This is my world and I'm going to be part of it. So it great. We stayed there for a little while. Johnna: We did and it was the other interesting thing that happened is when we were driving. What's the highway that we drove down that had the RVs on it. Clint: the freeway yeah I 90 Johnna: Yeah. OK. The freeway. I 90s. So, you know, there's these big flags waving. Right. And I, you know, is watching the flags wave. And I was like, I don't even know what the fuck this stands for anymore. It's just a bunch of bullshit. There's we don't. Yeah. I'm sorry if this. No, I'm not sorry if this is offensive. Like we're not free. I can't even paddle board without a permit. I can't even go to a lake that the earth has provided that God has provided for me to enjoy without Clint: American flags big American Johnna: paying and a fee for this a fee for that corruption here corruption there like what does this even stand for and when we observed that bar and those people Clint leaned over and he's like this is what that flag represents and I just was like ⁓ that was a like a soul moment you know when It seems dark. know, you can have those moments that moment. And who knew that Jonna was going to find some joy in a dive bar listening to a guy plunk away at his guitar, you know, just observing humans and their behavior. Right. Like it was just it was so lovely. It was like salt to the earth. Honestly, like those people saw to the earth. Clint: in a dive bar. Yep. So we hung out there for a while, then found another place. All this stuff was super close. And it turned out it was a pool hall. So there were probably 30 pool tables. There were a ton of pool tables and it was full. Again, it wasn't crowded. We didn't play pool or anything. So we didn't, we didn't venture over into that part of it. But then there was, you know, the bar and everything and Johnna: out it was a pool hall. So there were probably 30 pool tables. many. There were a ton of pool. Yeah. And it was full. Yeah. Again, it wasn't crowded. We didn't play pool or anything. So we didn't we didn't venture over into that part of it. Clint: ⁓ different but similar experience. ⁓ Johnna: different but similar. Yeah. shockingly, you know, not a meat market type situation. I again, just wanted to observe the people and there was no live music there. However, they did have a good playlist because they played the Beastie Boys and I was like rocking out to that. Clint: did. I'm like, wow, not that. But same thing. People were not on their phones. weren't, you know, they were very engaged in their group of people that had gathered to play pool and. Johnna: But same thing, people were not on their phones. weren't, you know, they were very engaged in their group of people that had gathered to play pool and have a good time. what was encouraging, I think, and I don't even know if we Clint: And what was encouraging, I think, and I don't even know if we talked about this then, but where the first bar, we were the younger edge of the age group. At the pool hall bar, we were the older edge. But it wasn't like a bunch of 21-year-olds and us. There were, looked like most everybody was, like I said, we were the older edge, but it was the same thing. Johnna: where the first bar we were the younger edge of the age group. At the pool hall bar, we were the older edge. it wasn't like a bunch of 21 year olds in us. looked like most everybody was, like I said, we were the older edge. But it was the same thing. And same situation where people were not getting trashed. Like no one was obnoxious. It was very like because that just I can't handle that. Even if there's someone. Clint: Even if there's doing karaoke and live music. When you get around people. Johnna: doing karaoke and live music. When you get around people who are just trashed, the vibe is just so gross to me. It's like, ick. So same situation, just so present with their group, really just enjoying a beverage with their friends. And it just... Clint: The vibe is just so gross. So same situation, just so present with their group, really just enjoying a beverage with their friends. And it just gave me some hope. Those two places definitely gave me some hope. And I enjoyed myself. And I rarely let myself just kind of cut loose. That's not something that I do. Johnna: gave me some hope. Those two places definitely gave me some hope and I enjoyed myself and I rarely let myself just kind of cut loose. That's not something that ⁓ I do honestly because I Clint: because I live in a world where I have to be available all the time for very deep conversations. Like deep conversations find me everywhere I go. And so I have to be very present. Like is this interaction going to be some intense thing? And I decided I don't even want to, I'm not available for that tonight. Tonight it's about me and me just having fun. And again, you don't have to have the Johnna: live in a world where I have to be available all the time for very deep conversations, like deep conversations find me everywhere I go. And so I have to be very present, like, this interaction going to be some intense thing? And I decided I don't even want to I'm not available for that tonight. Tonight it's about me and me just having fun. And again, you don't have to have the alcohol to have fun. know that I live in that on the daily, but sometimes you just want to sit down and have a drink and like not think about the heaviness of your calling in life. Clint: But sometimes you just want to sit down and have a drink. not think. Well, you know, because that's one of the, not to divert into alcohol talk too much, but that's one of the double-edged swords of alcohol. And we've talked about that on other podcasts is it does turn your brain off a little bit. Obviously too much turns it off too much. That's not a good thing, but just a little bit even turns it off, turns that depth part, it can turn that off. Johnna: is it does turn your brain off a little bit. Yeah. too much turns it off too much. That's not a good thing. Yeah, no it does energetically which is why I don't touch it honestly like yeah ⁓ Clint: Most of the time yeah until until a time came where was like, okay, I need a reprieve just a brief reprieve from the the weight of the depth of what I experience all the time So that was the value of it. Do you want to talk about the third bar? Johnna: Yeah. weight of the depth of what I experience all the time. Yes. Yeah, for sure. The value of it. Yep. Do you want to talk about the third bar? We can. Then we went to the third bar, which was more like everything we weren't looking for. Yeah. It did have karaoke. Yeah. It was packed. Clint: everything we weren't looking for. Yeah, it did have karaoke, but it was it was packed. Johnna: It was packed and it was not that there was a bunch of drunkards there, but it was definitely more of a scene than anything. And, you know, at that point I was like, I'm just having water. And it was still fun to observe people. Yeah, it really was. But it was also like kicking 10 o'clock. And guess what? I. Yeah, yeah. I was like, OK, I'm good. But. Clint: Yeah, absolutely. And right. Because we're still us. Johnna: I'm saying all of this to say that even for myself in terms of searching out joy, maybe even try things that you are super judgy towards like me going to a bar. Clint: Mm-hmm Johnna: Cause that is definitely something that I'm like, Nope, hands off. But I just thought, you know, why the fuck not? Why not? It's not like I'm going to get trashed and do tequila shots and dance on tables, right? I'm going to have a gin and tonic. I'm just going to relax and observe people. And it was really nice. And so ⁓ I'm glad that I did it. I'm glad I stepped outside my comfort zone because it's very uncomfortable for me to be in those situations. Clint: Yeah. Johnna: but I did it because I something different. I needed to just kind of cut loose and Clint was like ⁓ my gosh I need to capitalize on this opportunity. Google bars faster. It's funny. But that's a good segue into bigger conversation. think that we may or Clint: I couldn't Google bars fast enough. But that's a good segue into bigger conversation, I think, that we may or may not want to get into very deep. But the changes that are, I was going to say on the horizon, but they're not on the horizon. They were already in them. how the. Not that that's totally catapulting things, but it's kinda helped one part of this whole last weekend really has pushed us in a different direction. Do you wanna get into that at all? Johnna: Yeah. We can, we can touch on it. If you want to know, I'll let you know. No, no. You. Well, I already said things are changing rapidly in terms of where our plans and what we're doing. And I'm really excited about it. I'm not going to get into details quite yet, but there's some massive changes happening and. Clint: I'll let you how much you want to touch on things. I don't know how much you want to touch on things. ⁓ Johnna: you know, that's, we basically were knocking on some doors this weekend to see, you know, which direction we are supposed to go to because, or on, ⁓ basically everything's on the table, right? We have no, your only limit is your own mind. And I'm tired of living in those limitations. And not that I'm just like throwing caution to the wind, but I kind of am. Things are changing and I'm really excited about that. So if you want to add to that and we can talk about it, that's that's fine. But ⁓ basically. the search for, guess, I don't want to say joy outside of myself because really it's been more of a turning more inward than I even did last year in finding where and what I'm supposed to be doing has resulted in an answer that is very big. And I feel extremely excited about that. And really, you know, to the listener today, I would say it's time for you to do that. It's time for you to stop lying to yourself that you're happy in your current. mean, if you are happy in your current situation, yay. Right. ⁓ But ⁓ it's time to just to quit lying to yourself at the end of the day. And I'm saying that for myself. Right. Like Clint: Mm-hmm. ⁓ Johnna: time to stop lying. Where do I need to be? What do I need to be doing? The answer is been there all along and I would have never known that had I not had a massive epiphany. This has been like epiphany season. I feel like every day I have 55 epiphanies. I'm just like, which is why I wanted to bar hop and just have a couple of drinks and listen to music. It's like I need to not epiphany. Clint: Just have a yeah turn it off for an hour Johnna: For a moment, please. I just need a break. And I've gotten to the point now where I don't even have to fucking meditate to have an epiphany or a vision or anything. It's just there all the time. And so I feel like all roads have led to the road that we're about to embark on. And I am very excited in that. Clint: very excited in that. I think the fascinating thing for me in that, really the culmination that happened this weekend, but it's been a long time coming because this certainly isn't the, this last weekend wasn't the first time we've had any conversations like this, but this last weekend was okay. We think we've got a couple different ideas of potential plans. Let's dig into those. Johnna: But but this last weekend was okay. ⁓ Let's dig into those. Obviously, if you can connect two dots, an RV was pretty integral, least one of the plans. That's why we went there. But there were some other stuff, too. And then we got the answer just kind of out of nowhere. Being open to that but not seeking it was really interesting because it Clint: Obviously, if you can connect two dots, an RV was pretty integral, at least one of the plans. That's why we went there. But there were some other stuff too, and then we got the answer just kind of out of nowhere. Being open to that but not seeking it was really interesting because our heads were in a totally different place and then all of sudden this thing that I should say will obviously take you all on our journey once things get a little more settled down. Not settled down but. Clear. Clear that, thank you. Yeah, so lots more to come. Yeah, how about that? Yeah. Johnna: heads were in a totally different place and then all of a sudden this thing that I should say will obviously take you all on our journey once things get a little more settled down. Not settled down, but clear. Clear. That thing. Yeah. So lots more. Actually just when we feel like sharing because, you know, a lot of times, and I'm not saying that you listener. do this, but maybe some of you listeners do this. Sometimes people ruin things, you know, they like to put their negativity into it or go, I don't need any of that kind of energy coming my direction. And I'm alchemizing it right now into good. So that's what I'm doing. But when we're ready to share, then we'll share. Clint: Mm-hmm. Yeah, so it was just, it was a reconfirmation for me that even if you were taking the steps on the journey, doing the work, whatever cliche you wanna use for whatever it is that we talk about. You still have to be so open to those other things that that maybe you've thought about and like ⁓ that's not gonna work or maybe you've never even thought about them and then all of a sudden something drops in your lap and it's like well this wasn't my plan a or my plan b or my plan c like holy shit this makes so much sense how did we not Think of this but you got to go through it all to get there and it's really not anything that you can explain any better until Johnna: that maybe you've thought about and like, that's not gonna work. Or maybe you've never even thought about them. And then all of a sudden something drops in your lab. And it's like, well, this wasn't my plan A or my plan B or my plan C. Like, holy shit, this makes so much sense. How did we not? So much sense, but you got to go through it all. Yeah, absolutely. It's really not anything that you can explain any better until it happens. Yeah, actually do it. Clint: it happens until you actually do it and you're open to it and you go for it. Johnna: and keep knocking on all the doors. Like if you're in a position where you're like, I don't know what the fuck I'm supposed to do. I hear you, John. I and Clint, I it's hard to find joy right now. I'm not where I'm supposed to be. I'm blah. Stay open and just knock on all the doors, all of them. And the most perfect plan, because this is my belief that the universe God is always working in your favor. He always wants it. don't like to say he because that's just not what I'm doing. always wants the best for you, right? We limit that. I limit that with my like logical brain, like, ⁓ well, I can't do that. I'm too this. I can't do that. I'm too that too old to whatever. Right. And then when all of that is off the table and you're just like, I don't even fucking care. And a lot of times this happens when like, you know, people are diagnosed with something or I have this conversation with a client. It's like, you know, it's so sad that it takes this big, massive thing for you to be like, I am attached to nothing on this planet. I'm ready to pack a backpack and boop, right? That's what it takes. Like you really just find out what's super important and Clint: lot of times this happens when people are diagnosed with something or I have this conversation with a client. It's so sad that it takes this big, massive thing for you to be like, I am attached to nothing on this planet. I'm ready to pack a backpack and boop. That's what it takes. You really just find out what's super important. Johnna: You know, that's kind of how this all transpired, you know, with all the different life things. I mean, we spoke about it in the last podcast that have happened. It just was so uprooting and really freeing super brain. And so I think there's a good tie in. Clint: think there's a good tie in right now with that last podcast because the way that we feel right now, we worked out this morning and as we do, we ask each other how our workouts work. We work out together but we don't work out together. And so I asked Jonna how her workout was and she's like, know, was great, it was hard, but I just felt like I had this energy because I just feel so high on life right now. Johnna: we ask each other how our workouts work. So we work out together, but we don't work out together. Right. And so I asked Jonna. Clint: you know, because of the decisions that we're making and the things that are kind of coming together. And I bring that up with respect to the last episode because none of those other things have gone away. All the heaviness with all the kids and family and all that stuff, that's all, if anything, it's gotten heavier. Yeah, oh, for sure. It's definitely heavier. Johnna: other things have gone away. No, all the heaviness with all the kids and family and all that stuff. That's if anything, it's gotten heavier. Yeah. Oh, for sure. Yeah. Definitely heavier. Seems to get heavier every day. And then I just continue to heavier every day. But I just want to say that because it's not like, oh, we found this joy because all that stuff resolved itself. now don't have that anymore. Clint: But yes it does. But I just want to say that because it's not like, we found this joy because all that stuff resolved itself and now we don't have that anymore. It really is being able to find those things, whatever those things are, whether it's a cool place to have brunch or we feel like we have a direction in our life that we haven't had in years. Johnna: is being able to find those things, whatever those things are, whether it's a cool place to have brunch or we feel like we have a direction in our life that we haven't had in years. Yeah. Yeah. And anywhere in between that, you can find those things while you still have those other heavy stresses. As long as you. Clint: you know, and anywhere in between that, you can find those things while you still have those other heavy stresses, as long as you've prepared yourself to do that, as long as you have done the work. Johnna: And man, I the work is so hard. And that's why just a very small amount of people do it. And I get it. I mean, we've had that conversation a million times. Like, man, I just love to be like totally unaware, unaware. But maybe not. Right. I mean, you you don't know what what you got. I don't know what I'm trying to say. But anyway, so. Clint: Yeah. Johnna: We're saying all this to say prioritize joy. Joy, joy, joy. It's so funny. I was talking to Ada and she told me that her word for the year is joy. don't think I told you that. Yeah. Yeah. She's like, because I was talking to her about joy before any of this, because I'm like, I'm struggling to find joy in anything. And she's like, ⁓ my goodness, that's my word for the year. And I feel like I want to steal that. Or just use it to like, life is supposed to be fun. It Clint: No, you didn't. ⁓ ⁓ Life is supposed to be fun, it just is. We're here as humans to play and create and remember who we are as part of the divine and to express ourselves in the gifts that the divine gave us, not what society told us we were good at. That's why we're here. And that's been my life. Johnna: It just is. We're here as humans to play and create and remember who we are as part of the divine and to express ourselves in the gifts that the divine gave us, not what society told us we were good at. Right. That's why we're here. And That's been my life mission, honestly. And boy, has it just been appealing back of the onion layers. And I feel like I have a bone now that I haven't had in 25 years, maybe more 30 years. I don't even know. Yeah. 30. Oh my gosh. I'm at that age now where I'm like talking about shit that was 30 years ago. Wow. Everything used to be 20 years ago. Clint: 30 years. I'm at that age now where I'm talking about kids that was 30 years ago. Yeah, we just bumped up. Everything used to be 20 years ago, and then it was 25 years ago, and now it's 30 years ago. Super exciting thing. Johnna: Yeah, now it's 30. So ⁓ super exciting things on the horizon. So seek out joy, make time for it. ⁓ Ladies who love to write lists, put joy on your list. Like something every day to bring you joy. I'm so grateful that the sun is coming back in our neck of the woods because that is something that brings me joy. Yeah. seek out joy, make time for it. Ladies who love to write lists, put joy on your list. Like something every day to bring you joy. I'm so grateful that the sun is coming back in our neck of the woods because that is something that brings me joy. Clint: Yeah. Johnna: All right. Well, thank you for listening. And I hope this was helpful. I hope that, you know, it's kind of story time with John and Clint. We haven't really had an update kind of story time, but the theme or the takeaway that I want you guys to take away is find joy, actively seek out joy, things that bring you the individual joy, not that bring your family joy, your kids joy, your spouse joy. None of that. I want you to really look within and go what do I like to do? What actually brings me joy? And if you don't know, then seek it out like a child. Be curious and find what that is. And that's all. That's all I have to say. Clint: Well, those were huge words to end on because it's so important to remember finding joy for yourself. And I mean, there's nothing wrong with, know, I like to do stuff because it makes other people happier. It brings other people joy. That's fantastic. But you got to put your oxygen mask on first. We haven't used that one in a while. And that's that's really what it is. And it doesn't matter how big or small. Just find that. ⁓ Johnna: Yeah. ⁓ Yeah, you're right. Yeah. Be be okay with trying things that maybe maybe you think are gonna bring you joy and then they don't. Like, oh, hey, nope, that wasn't it. Now I'm move on to the next thing. Yeah, absolutely. Oh, there's that word. Okay, you guys, thank you for listening. Have a lovely day. We'll talk to you soon. Clint: be okay with ⁓ trying things that maybe you think are gonna bring you joy and then they don't. I'm like, ⁓ hey, nope, that wasn't it. Now I'm gonna move on to the next thing. and we'll talk to you soon.
