Transcript
- 0:01It is day five since 84 year old Nancy Guthrie, the Tucson
- 0:11grandmother who happens to the ME, happens to be the mother of
- 0:15the Today Show host Savannah Guthrie has been missing.
- 0:22And police are saying out loud and without any ambiguity, no
- 0:28room for questioning. This is a kidnapping.
- 0:31And but they don't know where she is.
- 0:35And today we had a press conference and I, I live
- 0:39streamed that press conference. But for those of you who didn't
- 0:42join us, I've got my notes from the conference.
- 0:46And for those of you who said, hey, these are this conference
- 0:49is a waste of time. They haven't said anything.
- 0:50I'm telling you that is not the case.
- 0:53A lot came out today, so let's go through my notes.
- 0:58Let's talk about the case. See, see how you know, see if
- 1:03there's something that we can do to help find Nancy Guthrie and
- 1:09bring her home. Stay with me.
- 1:23This video contains mature themes and discussions intended
- 1:26only for adult audiences. Viewer discretion is advised.
- 1:32Hello there, my friend, and welcome back to another true
- 1:35crime conversation with me. My name is Gavin Fish.
- 1:39My channel is named Gavin Fish. There's two of us now.
- 1:42I'm glad that you found us. Thank you for joining me.
- 1:44Wherever you're joining me from, please, because I'm a nerd like
- 1:48this, tell me where you're joining me from.
- 1:50I just. I don't know.
- 1:51I, I like to hear about where people are and we got, we got
- 1:57people all over the place. It's really a lot of fun.
- 2:01Thank you for bearing with me as I got started about 10 minutes
- 2:05late tonight. I do my very, very best to be on
- 2:08time. But as most of you know, many of
- 2:11you know, I work as a local reporter out here in Western
- 2:14Pennsylvania and we had some pretty breaking news that
- 2:19required my attention for more time out of the day that I
- 2:23expected. And I just had to had to wrap a
- 2:26couple things up. Nothing.
- 2:28Nothing crime related, nothing. Nothing earth shattering outside
- 2:33of our little little world here in Western Pennsylvania.
- 2:38But I appreciate you being cool about me starting late tonight.
- 2:44It looks like we've got, and I'm sorry if I missed some of these,
- 2:49but we've got San Jose is in the house.
- 2:52What else do we have? We have St.
- 2:56Augustine, FL's here. Marietta, GA Thank you very
- 2:59much. Indiana.
- 3:02We got representation from Indiana.
- 3:06Poppy seed is in Tucson. It's only four PM actually.
- 3:08Poppy seed, thank you so much. I try really hard not to be
- 3:13captain click bait in my thumbnails and in my, you know,
- 3:17my descriptions, my, my titles. But you're right, I believe that
- 3:22the the ransom deadline is 5:00 PM local in Tucson and it's just
- 3:31been a day. I put that the that the ransom
- 3:34deadline has passed so I'm going to keep my eye on my screen here
- 3:38to see if anything else comes in.
- 3:41Please accept my apologies for kind of jumping the gun on that
- 3:45one. Edison NJ is house is in the
- 3:49house South Africa. Glad you are here.
- 3:53I have made exactly one trip to South Africa on a on a business
- 4:00trip. Scotch's mom says.
- 4:02So there was a deadline in one of the ransom letters yet.
- 4:05We learned a fair bit about the ransom letters today.
- 4:08We'll go through that in my in my notes.
- 4:11But there was not just one, but two deadlines maybe, maybe the
- 4:17ransom note writer. First of all, we don't know if
- 4:21it's a hoax yet or still. Let's say we don't know if this
- 4:26is a hoax or if it's real. And it just seems like the
- 4:32Sheriff's Office, the FBI, they're just treating it as if
- 4:35it is. And it's a lead that they're
- 4:38tracking down. So, yeah, we don't know.
- 4:43I heard they they arrested somebody.
- 4:45They did. We'll get into that.
- 4:46Thank you very much. What else do we have here?
- 4:50We've got do do do do do do do do do.
- 4:57Soddy Daisy, TN Hey, thank you very much to Carolyn Ross for
- 5:01the Super chat getting us started today.
- 5:03I deeply appreciate that man. I I4O8IN Tucson right now.
- 5:11Indeed, it's 413 now. The velvet saying I think she's
- 5:18dead. I hope not.
- 5:20Vermont is in the house. Pittsburgh, PA is here.
- 5:23Glad you are here. Ireland is here.
- 5:27I love Brad is saying Nancy might be curtains now.
- 5:31Man, I hope not. I hope not.
- 5:33I don't. I don't want that to be the
- 5:35case. Cape Cod is here.
- 5:38Toronto Beach, Connecticut, South Carolina, Jacksonville,
- 5:41Milford, MI, Fort Worth, TX grand so many thank you guys.
- 5:45Thanks for checking in. I think we'll we'll go ahead and
- 5:49get started. Let's do just a quick recap.
- 5:52Nancy Guthrie, 84 year old grandmother, lives on her own,
- 5:57sharp as a tack, but elderly. She's aged.
- 6:02She was described as not being able to go 50 yards without
- 6:06help. So you know, maybe she's just
- 6:08not, she's ambulatory, let's say.
- 6:10But maybe like as most 84 year olds need some need some help
- 6:17getting around. She was last seen and there was
- 6:21a bit of a timeline that was shared with us today.
- 6:23We're going to get into that timeline as they get into my
- 6:25notes. But she was last seen at about
- 6:289:45 on Saturday night when she was dropped off at her house by
- 6:31members of her family. The following day on Sunday,
- 6:37just this past Sunday, she didn't come to church.
- 6:40That was out of character for her.
- 6:43So church members called her family who headed over to her
- 6:47house to check on her and did not find her, called 911 and the
- 6:52investigation began like that. Now she is the mother of
- 6:58somebody who is famous here in the United States, A journalist,
- 7:02former Court TV reporter, lawyer, current host or Co host
- 7:08of NB CS Today show, which is a morning time show on one of our
- 7:14major networks for those of you who are outside of the United
- 7:16States. So Savannah Guthrie is well
- 7:19known. She's she's liked, she's
- 7:22respected and and Nancy has been on the show a couple of times.
- 7:29So there's a little bit of fame there.
- 7:31And it is caused many of us to question, hey, is, was she
- 7:37targeted because she is the mother of a famous act or well,
- 7:42a journalist. The, the police talked about
- 7:46that a little bit today, gave us their, their thoughts on that.
- 7:50I'm not going to play the video of the press conference, but one
- 7:55video I do want to play, which I played in my live stream earlier
- 7:59today. I normally, by the way, don't do
- 8:01daily live live streams during the day.
- 8:03I usually do them every weekday around 6:00 PM Eastern Time.
- 8:08But today I decided to live stream the press conference.
- 8:13I thought it was terrific. We're not going to live stream
- 8:15that. We're we're not going to recap
- 8:17that today. But I do want to show you this
- 8:20video which is of the three Guthrie children.
- 8:25The one in the middle is Savannah, the the famous one and
- 8:29then her brother to her left and sister to her right.
- 8:34This was a video that was put out last night pretty much about
- 8:38the same time that you and I were talking here on this
- 8:42channel. They put it out via Instagram.
- 8:46The FBI had a little bit to say about that today.
- 8:51But why don't we play the roughly 4 minute video?
- 8:55I want you to check your headphones.
- 8:57This does kind of start out kind of loud.
- 8:59I have pulled it down a little bit, but I don't want it to
- 9:03blast your ears, so if you've got earbuds in, maybe just kind
- 9:06of hover them out a little bit. I'm going to start it in 3-2.
- 9:10Here we go. On behalf of our family, we want
- 9:16to thank all of you for the prayers for our beloved mom,
- 9:20Nancy. We feel them, and we continue to
- 9:26believe that she feels them, too.
- 9:30Armand is a kind, faithful, loyal, fiercely loving woman of
- 9:38goodness and light. She is funny and spunky and
- 9:44clever. She has grandchildren that adore
- 9:48her and crowd around her and cover her with kisses.
- 9:53She loves fun and adventure. She is a devoted friend.
- 9:59She is full of kindness and knowledge.
- 10:02Talk to her and you'll see the light is missing from our lives.
- 10:11Nancy is our mother. We are her children.
- 10:17She is our beacon. She holds fast to joy in all of
- 10:24life's circumstances. She chooses joy day after day,
- 10:30despite having already passed through great trials of pain and
- 10:35grief. We are always going to be merely
- 10:40human. Just normal human people who
- 10:44need our mom. Mama, Mama, if you're listening,
- 10:53we need you to come home. We miss you.
- 11:02Our mom is our heart and our home.
- 11:07She is 84 years old. Her health, her heart is
- 11:11fragile. She lives in constant pain.
- 11:17She is without any medicine. She needs it to survive.
- 11:21She needs it not to suffer. We too have heard the reports
- 11:28about a ransom letter in the media.
- 11:32As a family, we are doing everything that we can.
- 11:38We are ready to talk. However, we live in a world
- 11:45where voices and images are easily manipulated.
- 11:51We need to know without a doubt that she is alive and that you
- 11:58have her. We want to hear from you and we
- 12:03are ready to listen. Please reach out to us, Mommy,
- 12:14if you are hearing this. You are a strong woman.
- 12:19You are God's precious daughter, Nancy.
- 12:25We believe and know that even in this valley, He is with you.
- 12:32Everyone is looking for you, Mommy, everywhere.
- 12:37We will not rest. Your children will not rest
- 12:41until we are together again. We speak to you every moment,
- 12:48and we pray without ceasing, and we rejoice in advance for the
- 12:53day that we hold you in our arms again.
- 12:58We love you, mom. We love you, Mom.
- 13:01We love you, mom. Stay strong.
- 13:02We love. You.
- 13:04We love you. So that is the entire video
- 13:08right there. Heartbreaking, obviously
- 13:12prepared, written. And you know, as somebody
- 13:19Savannah Guthrie is somebody who understands the media very well.
- 13:23I imagine that they're they are experiencing some, I guess some
- 13:33a range of emotions that that are probably dissonant one being
- 13:40just the absolute heartbreak, heartbreak and terror of losing
- 13:43your mom losing not meaning that I know that she's dead or
- 13:48anything, but she's not around, right?
- 13:49She's missing. That's number one.
- 13:52Number 2, knowing that there's a media frenzy surrounding this,
- 13:57including new media like my channel, but lots of legacy
- 14:02media, lots of big networks, including the network that she
- 14:05works for NBC. And then knowing that the media
- 14:11can be used in order to get to get this information that that
- 14:17they can utilize the media to their advantage.
- 14:21And so my heart goes out to the the entire Guthrie family for
- 14:28for this. Now I saw a comment, I saw a
- 14:34comment. Let me see if I I can find it
- 14:36again. Had to do with something that
- 14:40was on Megyn Kelly. Yeah, here it is.
- 14:46Chasing Sunshine said Megyn Kelly team suggesting Nancy did
- 14:49not go to church but attended virtually.
- 14:52Also suggested common for one who calls in the missing person
- 14:55could be guilty. So let's just talk about that
- 14:57for a second. This is possible, OK.
- 15:03However, it is speculation and I'm not calling out Megyn Kelly
- 15:06or her team at all on this because I engage in the same
- 15:10thing. It's possible.
- 15:12Yesterday when we talked about Ashley Banfield talking about
- 15:16her, her sources saying different things, I think she
- 15:23probably did have a source. Maybe the source was just wrong
- 15:26or maybe the source was right and the police didn't really
- 15:29want to, doesn't want to talk about that or doesn't want that
- 15:35information really out there. I don't know.
- 15:38It's possible that somebody close to the to Nancy is the
- 15:47guilty party. Totally possible.
- 15:50It's all and and in fact, it might even be a little more
- 15:53probable. It might be, but that doesn't
- 15:57mean that it's not possible that it's a perfect stranger.
- 16:00OK, now it's really funny because when I started taking my
- 16:06notes, I just grabbed a piece of paper that this happens to be
- 16:11some work that was done on my car last week and I just like I
- 16:16need scratch paper. They were they're going so
- 16:18quickly. So I have my first page here and
- 16:21then it turns over here and then I finally got some some paper to
- 16:25work on here. Let me just let me just bring up
- 16:29a couple things that came up. I think maybe what we should do
- 16:32is start with a timeline and up until today, the timeline of the
- 16:39case included 22 important times when the last time she was seen
- 16:47and then when family came to check on her.
- 16:51We've got a little bit more information and I'm sorry that I
- 16:54don't have it prepared as a graphic for you.
- 16:57It is available on, you know, on the media and everything, but
- 17:01these were just my notes. OK, so oh, actually the first
- 17:07thing that the sheriff said was that they've brought in more
- 17:12personnel, statewide personnel that he called it the Peekrit
- 17:18team. I can't remember what that
- 17:19stands for, but basically wanted to.
- 17:26Basically, it's just people from different municipalities, local
- 17:30and state law enforcement agencies that have come in to
- 17:33work the case a little bit more. He said they have not ID Ed a
- 17:37suspect or a person of interest. And there certainly isn't a
- 17:40prime suspect as was reported yesterday by Banfield.
- 17:44Now, in fairness to Ashley Banfield, she was very careful
- 17:51to say, you know, a prime suspect could just be that
- 17:54they're working from the family and going to work in concentric
- 17:57circles on the way out. But she did name a
- 18:01brother-in-law, Tomaso Sione. The the sheriff today said we
- 18:07haven't ruled anybody out, but we have not identified A
- 18:11suspect, a person of interest, certainly not a prime suspect.
- 18:15Then he got into the timeline. He said at 5:32 PM, Nancy
- 18:22Guthrie travelled to be with family for games and for dinner.
- 18:27She took an Uber and and went over for family dinner for games
- 18:34I think he didn't say specifically, but I think that
- 18:37was with Annie's family at Annie's home at 948.
- 18:41She was dropped off at home. This is all on Saturday, right?
- 18:46And I am so bad with dates. Let me just pull up my calendar.
- 18:50What day is that? Saturday would have been January
- 18:5331st. Saturday, then at 9:50 PM, they
- 19:02have a timestamp of when her garage door closed.
- 19:06So the thinking is she was dropped off at 948.
- 19:10She goes inside, the garage door closes.
- 19:14Must be a smart garage that logs that or a security system.
- 19:19And then on Sunday morning, they said at 1:47 AM, the doorbell
- 19:28camera disconnected. He went on to say that they do
- 19:32not have the doorbell camera in their possession.
- 19:36Now, we had a photo of this. Let me just come over here.
- 19:40This was the photo that was published to News Nation.
- 19:44But I can drag this up a little bit.
- 19:47And we had wondered yesterday about the Ring Cam or the Nest
- 19:52Cam mount here. I think it is a Nest Cam that
- 19:57doesn't have a camera on there. The police said this is not in
- 20:02their possession, this camera and it was disconnected at 1:47
- 20:09AM and get back down to here because we're going to we're
- 20:13going to get into the blood evidence here in just a bit at
- 20:17212 AMA person was detected on a camera on a smart camera now.
- 20:25I would imagine if it was, if the doorbell Cam was
- 20:28disconnected, it would have been a different Cam.
- 20:30He did not get into that. What he did say is that Miss
- 20:35Guthrie did not have a subscription to a cloud based
- 20:42security system and so they had talked with that company.
- 20:48The company does not have video. The video overwrites itself
- 20:54automatically depending on, you know, how much storage it has.
- 20:57And so they don't have the video they but they have the log that
- 21:04a person it was detected. He does not.
- 21:06The sheriff did not know if that meant movement was detected or
- 21:11if it's smart enough to determine that it was a person
- 21:15or if it could have been an animal.
- 21:17Don't know. 2:28 AM Sunday morning, February 1st, her
- 21:22pacemaker disconnects via Bluetooth from her phone.
- 21:27That that seems to be the time in which they think that she was
- 21:34taken from the house at 11:56 AM.
- 21:40That is when her family checked on her.
- 21:43They drove to her house, they checked on her, they found the
- 21:47scene. I don't know if they were able
- 21:53to tell, hey, we got an issue here or or if it was the
- 21:57professional eyes of detectives that said this is a crime scene,
- 22:00but but she was missing. They couldn't find her.
- 22:03At 12 O 3:00 PM on Sunday, February 1st was the 911 call.
- 22:11Police arrived just a few minutes after and then that's
- 22:14how the investigation began. Couple other things from my
- 22:19notes. I'll bring this photo up again.
- 22:23This this what appears to be blood droplets, blood spatter
- 22:29and even a little misting. I don't know if you guys can can
- 22:33tell that the middle of that constellation, that top
- 22:36constellation looks like misting to me.
- 22:40They did submit that to DNA and did not get any hits other than
- 22:48they know that is Nancy's. We don't know if this occurred
- 22:53as part of the crime or something else.
- 22:58We don't know. He sheriff said he could not
- 23:08confirm that any of the cameras in the house were And I think I
- 23:13have a paused video. This is this one was from the
- 23:16third. But there's there's a sheriff
- 23:17right there is a sheriff Nanos. I think this wasn't from today's
- 23:21but just just for the sake of having a photo of the sheriff
- 23:25up. The cameras being smashed was
- 23:28another thing that came from a source from Ashley Banfield.
- 23:32He said he would not confirm that any of the cameras were
- 23:35smashed. He did say yesterday while you
- 23:42and I were together, Brian, and did some amazing reporting.
- 23:47I, I, I don't know, I, I really like that guy.
- 23:50Never met him in person, but I sure like him.
- 23:55And he had a drone out there with his camera guy.
- 23:59And last night, as you and I were speaking in the live chat,
- 24:04you guys told me that, you know, there was action happening at
- 24:07Nancy's house. Crime scene tape had been put
- 24:09up. People were out there.
- 24:14Enten's crew put up their drone, and they were able to watch as
- 24:18investigators looked at the car in her garage, which looked to
- 24:23me like a Subaru wagon. And when talking about the car
- 24:32at the home and, and looking into that, sheriff was very
- 24:35clear that he said, you know, the FBI wanted to look at the
- 24:38scene. We got permission from the
- 24:40family. He did kind of let it slip, at
- 24:43least to my notes. And I do remember this, that it
- 24:47seems like they did get a warrant, a judicial warrant.
- 24:51And but he said that looking in the car was just part of
- 24:55standard investigation. The FBI wanted to see the scene.
- 24:59They got permission. I think they probably got a
- 25:01warrant too, though I don't think they needed that with
- 25:04permission. And he says just part of the
- 25:07standard investigation can't tell us any details on what they
- 25:11found in there or what they did or didn't find in there.
- 25:16He said that he, his team, his detectives have talked to the
- 25:22Uber driver who took her to dinner with family, said that
- 25:25they had they've talked with everybody, members of the family
- 25:29and anybody that was that was connected to the case.
- 25:35He did not say exactly what the Uber driver said.
- 25:41Let's see, there's been some reporting that there was a
- 25:47forced entry at the house. Sheriff Nanos said that he has
- 25:51no clue where the news originated, that there was
- 25:57forced entry at Nancy Guthrie's house and he is not going to
- 26:06confirm it. He's not going to discuss it, he
- 26:10said. Next came the special agent in
- 26:15charge, Mr. Janke or YY. I don't know how to pronounce
- 26:22his name. Sorry guys.
- 26:23He's the special agent in charge of the Phoenix.
- 26:29What do they call those? The the Phoenix office, field
- 26:32office of the FBI. He announced that there is a
- 26:35$50,000 reward being offered now for any information leading to
- 26:42finding Nancy Guthrie and or anything that might lead to an
- 26:48arrest and a conviction of those responsible.
- 26:51He said that a group out of Quantico is in the area, the
- 26:55critical incident response group called SURG.
- 27:00He's got. He said that they are analyzing
- 27:05information from banks, from social media, basically their
- 27:11expertise. One of the expertises that they
- 27:14hold out is in digital forensics and that he is helping with with
- 27:21that or I guess they are helping with that.
- 27:25In regards to the ransom letter, Special Agent in Charge Yankee
- 27:32said that they're aware of the ransom letter.
- 27:36They're taking it seriously. He was very sure to say that the
- 27:45family is the one that gets to decide how to respond, if they
- 27:51want to respond, and how to respond to the ransom letters.
- 27:57He, he said that they offer guidance, they offer help, but
- 28:03that it's up to the family to decide what it is that they're
- 28:07going to do. He did later on in question and
- 28:12answer talk about how they, they have, I think that was at the
- 28:16top of this page. The FBI does have crisis
- 28:22negotiators locally and the surg team that came in from Quantico
- 28:26that can help. But but he said the family
- 28:32wanted to be contacted by the ransomers.
- 28:34If, if it is, if it is a if it's a real deal.
- 28:38Of course, in the in the video that the Guthrie's made, they
- 28:43made a point of saying, hey, we've got no proof of life here.
- 28:47We live in an era where AI can create the most convincing
- 28:51videos. We need proof of life.
- 28:56And then the special Agent Yankee was very thankful to the
- 29:01media for all the tips that are coming in.
- 29:05That is the end. And then that was the end of the
- 29:07prepared remarks. Now I now have two pages of
- 29:10notes on on questions and answers.
- 29:14But let me go over to your comments real quick.
- 29:18Make sure that that I get your comments in here as well on, on
- 29:24my on my system. Sometimes I miss a lot because
- 29:29it refreshes. So let's just check in every
- 29:32once in awhile here, OK, prime numbers.
- 29:36That's a good handle. In the press conference the FBI
- 29:41guy said all the ransom notes were the same but also said they
- 29:45made an arrest on one. That part confused me.
- 29:48Let let me just address that one right now.
- 29:50He did in the question and answer say that the three known
- 29:54ransom letters that we know happened to local to the Tucson,
- 29:59AZ area that came into media outlets and one that went to
- 30:04TMZ. He did confirm all three of
- 30:06those are the same, but he said that one arrest had been made of
- 30:12an imposter and he clarified that a little bit later.
- 30:18Let me just let me just see if I can find what he said there.
- 30:32Let me just. I can't even read my own writing
- 30:47from memory. What I remember was it wasn't,
- 30:51it wasn't an imposter arrest on that particular ransom note.
- 30:56It was somebody else who had inserted them into the
- 30:59investigation and they made that arrest.
- 31:02And he he made a warning. He's like, don't, don't do that,
- 31:06guys. We will find you, right?
- 31:08So yeah, that's, that's what I remember.
- 31:13Anyway. That's what I'm getting from
- 31:14memory. Toya Burrows, does she live
- 31:18alone at 84? Who else lives in the home with
- 31:20her? From my understanding, she does
- 31:23live alone in that home. But her daughter Annie, who is
- 31:27in in this video, she is on the left hand side in the white
- 31:32blouse and glasses. She lives only about 10 minutes
- 31:37away. So this is very much the same
- 31:40kind of situation that a lot of us have with our folks, right?
- 31:43They're independent. Maybe they're not able to drive
- 31:46very well, maybe they use Ubers or stuff and stuff like that.
- 31:51But it seems like Nancy is an independent person and able to
- 31:57care for. My grandfather was completely
- 32:00independent. Completely was independent ish.
- 32:03He lived on his own and was driving all the way into his 90s
- 32:08with my aunt who lived 5 minutes away.
- 32:11So that's, that's what I think the living arrangement was for.
- 32:16We keep saying Miss Guthrie. I think it's Misses Guthrie.
- 32:19She, she was widowed many years ago.
- 32:24Seems like a Spitfire man Poppy EV, says Gavin.
- 32:30There was a case a few years ago where a husband had done away
- 32:33with his wife. The wife's family held a press
- 32:34conference where the husband actually spoke.
- 32:38Maybe that's what's going on here.
- 32:40It's a possibility. It's a possibility.
- 32:44And, and, and I think it's probably even likely that
- 32:47somebody, well, I, I think statistically it's likely that
- 32:51somebody in the house and, or in the family is responsible.
- 32:55I'm not saying that it is in this case or is not in this
- 32:58case, I don't know. But statistically speaking,
- 33:02crimes like this do tend to happen within the circle of
- 33:05association, within circle of family.
- 33:09Yeah, that, I mean, I can think of, let's see an actual press
- 33:16conference. You guys will have to remind me
- 33:19of of something like that. But but I can think of a couple
- 33:22of of cases where the guilty party talked to the talked to
- 33:28the police for sure Robin, one of our intrepid moderators who
- 33:36has a fancy shield, says Gavin. I was talking with a friend who
- 33:41does investigations and works cold cases.
- 33:44He supposes that Nancy was alive within hours of the abduction.
- 33:48This is something that I think a lot of us fear has happened.
- 33:56I think we do need to hold on to hope as long as we can that that
- 34:05she's alive. They certainly and certainly law
- 34:10enforcement has to hold on to that and continue with their
- 34:12their investigation there. If she's not found, there will
- 34:16be a time at which it will turn into a homicide investigation, I
- 34:22think. But I don't know that that is
- 34:24the time yet. And I'm I'm sure your friend who
- 34:28works cold cases has a lot of personal experience that would
- 34:32backup that sentiment. Let me scroll on down.
- 34:42The one girl, Mellie says Gavin, unless there is neighborhood
- 34:45surveillance, we don't know if Nancy even made it home.
- 34:48Possibly. I think that's a fair statement,
- 34:52right? The what the what Sheriff Nanos
- 34:56said today was that family dropped her off.
- 35:01So that means that it's a witness statement thing.
- 35:07So the police will have to go to great lengths to verify that
- 35:14they won't just accept that as gospel, right?
- 35:18They will, They will go, OK, can we get cameras in the
- 35:21neighborhood? Can we see a car passing?
- 35:24Is it Annie's car? Is it a family car?
- 35:26Can we see Nancy inside of it? It's dark.
- 35:31Let's see what time. Let me look at that timeline
- 35:33again. The timeline was 9:48 PM.
- 35:39This is a rural area without St. lamps, lots of tall vegetation.
- 35:46What's the likelihood that they see that?
- 35:49I don't know, but they're, they are going to have to, they're
- 35:52going to have to work that. And you know, a lot of people
- 35:56are down on this sheriff. I love this sheriff.
- 35:58This sheriff's amazing. I I feel like he's got a great
- 36:02team working on this and, and probably will, but that's a,
- 36:08that's a terrific, terrific comment, Mellie.
- 36:12Thank you very much. Let's see.
- 36:16Toya Burrows. Gavin.
- 36:17My heart hurt. She was taking wee hours in the
- 36:19morning. I'm sure she was in a peaceful
- 36:21sleep and disturbed. My heart goes out to the family.
- 36:23That's a. That's a sentiment that I think
- 36:26many of us feel. Thank you very much, Robin says.
- 36:29I was thinking she might have bled so much because she's
- 36:32probably on blood thinners. And as we age, our skin can be
- 36:35injured more easily. Yeah, You know, I remember my
- 36:43before my grandmother passed away, She, I think she was 91.
- 36:47She passed away right before her 92nd birthday.
- 36:50She lived with my folks and her skin was just so porcelain, you
- 36:58know, it was so smooth and just thin and, and delicate that she,
- 37:06she just everything had to be satin.
- 37:09She she just couldn't touch anything that was that that was
- 37:16not satin. Basically.
- 37:18It was just so, so painful for her to like rest her arms on her
- 37:26chair, for example, just the the and and that chair was like this
- 37:31velvet. It was a soft, you know, plushy
- 37:34chairs, the softest one my parents could find, but it was
- 37:38just so rough on her. So it's and Miss Guthrie here
- 37:44had heart issues. We don't know what medication
- 37:47she was on specifically, but I think it's probably reasonable
- 37:54to assume that she was maybe on blood thinners and maybe that's
- 37:57why there is so much blood there possible Great comment, Robin,
- 38:03thank you. Denise says the same thing.
- 38:06If she had a heart condition, she may take blood thinners.
- 38:08That can make it worse and seem worse than it is.
- 38:11Reason for hope, maybe. Yeah.
- 38:13Hey, thanks for bringing that up.
- 38:15Yeah, maybe a little reason for hope.
- 38:18Patricia Burns is it thought she was taken out of the house alive
- 38:22as the blood looks like droplets and maybe spray from the mouth
- 38:26or nose. The They did not say how she was
- 38:34removed from the house. She went out the front door or
- 38:38if, as Banfield said, the back door was open.
- 38:42I don't know. I don't know.
- 38:44But it's possible that that spray could come.
- 38:49Yeah, from, from some kind of aspiration, right?
- 38:53Cough, exhaling through the nose, something like that.
- 38:58I'm not a, I'm not a blood spatter expert.
- 39:00I, I'm just, I'm just looking at it and kind of coming to
- 39:04conclusions. OK let's see I, I want to make
- 39:08sure that I don't miss anything else.
- 39:10OK, good. Oh wait a minute.
- 39:13The top end too, says Gavin. People need to calm down.
- 39:16The family would have easily been ruled in or out and the
- 39:20stories corroborated Phones, car data, roller door data, alibis,
- 39:24etcetera. Yeah, and I think that I, I
- 39:29hopefully I'm not adding to the to the melee on this, right.
- 39:35I'm trying to I'm trying to temper my opinions and my
- 39:39thoughts with compassion and with humanity.
- 39:42And, and I think that I've been pretty clear on yes, the the
- 39:48Sheriff's Office would be, would be doing their due diligence to
- 39:54corroborate or well, to corroborate stories or.
- 40:02Or suss out lies, right? What Sheriff Nano said today is
- 40:09that there is no suspect, no person of interest, nobody has
- 40:15been ruled out or in that's what he said today.
- 40:19Great comment and yeah, it's very easy for us and great
- 40:23thanks for pointing this out. It's very easy for us to get all
- 40:26hyped and, and animated on this when we could just calmly talk
- 40:33about it and, and what's the point of this guys?
- 40:37What's the point of us doing this on my channel?
- 40:39The point of it for this case specifically is to get the word
- 40:44out to get her picture out there for anybody who has seen her,
- 40:48anybody who might know something.
- 40:49You know, it's very difficult to keep a crime on the on the QT.
- 40:56It's difficult to do that. The human beast somewhere deep
- 41:00in our lizard brain, we just, we need confession.
- 41:03And if say, this was done by one person or by two people, the
- 41:08likelihood that only one person or two people know who committed
- 41:13this crime is very low. They're going to be tons of
- 41:16people. And so if we get this face out
- 41:19here and put the pressure on, maybe we can help.
- 41:24Maybe we can help bring this woman home.
- 41:29The other the other reason that we talk about this is so that we
- 41:33may learn, not so that we may blame, but so that we may learn
- 41:38for. For example, here's something
- 41:39that I learned right. She did not have a a
- 41:45subscription to a cloud service for her video.
- 41:49Now you don't necessarily need a subscription to a cloud service
- 41:53for a video. You can record locally on on
- 41:59basically what is a DVR and you can even copy those so that you
- 42:05have multiple copies of them in different places.
- 42:07You don't have to have a subscription, but if you have
- 42:12cameras, guys either have a subscription where there is
- 42:17some, some backup or two have the data backup and data storage
- 42:23is so cheap these days that there's just no good reason
- 42:28other than maybe maybe we're ignorant to it or we don't think
- 42:33that anything is going to happen to us or, or we're just naive, I
- 42:37guess, right. But there you and I who know
- 42:42about this now, we should be, we should be increasing our storage
- 42:47capacity, high def HDUHD color in the dark cameras and storage,
- 42:58storage, storage. OK, This is something that I've
- 43:03learned and I'm comfortable with what I'm doing and with my
- 43:06family. But I, I think maybe, I think
- 43:10maybe, you know, I know exactly how long I I keep records of my
- 43:16videos. I might, I might increase that.
- 43:21So yeah, thank you. Thank you for the comment,
- 43:27Gavin. Missus Guthrie says Spirit of
- 43:31Virginia 1950. No Mariana Topa.
- 43:34Missus Guthrie appears with bruised skin on her arms.
- 43:37Yeah, she like you can see a bandage on, on her elbow right
- 43:40there. She's got delicate skin,
- 43:42delicate, delicate skin. Okie, dokie.
- 43:47Let me get back here. So question and answer segment,
- 43:53we learned that the tech company has confirmed they can't get
- 43:56video for that doorbell camera. When asked if they withhold
- 44:02information from the media and the public, the sheriff was
- 44:06pretty, pretty good to not just like slap the guy down who who
- 44:13asked a stupid question, but he basically said, yeah, yeah, we
- 44:18withhold information from the media and from the public.
- 44:22When asked if there's any proof or sign of life, he deferred to
- 44:26the FBI. The FBI special agent charge
- 44:28said no, there is no proof of life yet.
- 44:35There was a deadline and a monetary value.
- 44:39We learned in the ransom note that they talked about the Apple
- 44:43Watch. They talked about the
- 44:44floodlight. Now, Brian Anton, who was one of
- 44:48the guys that asked a terrific question, asked about the
- 44:53timeline of that. And let's see.
- 45:01Yeah, he asked, well, what's the timeline of knowing about the
- 45:07Apple Watch in the floodlights? Because the Apple Watch got out
- 45:11there really early. And if you just look at the
- 45:13house, you can see floodlights. So the agent in charge was like,
- 45:18yeah, the I don't have that timeline on me right now.
- 45:21But but you're right. There are concerns that the
- 45:27ransom note might might be a hoax, But they are consulting
- 45:35with the with the Guthrie family and letting the Guthrie family
- 45:40decide whether or not they're going to to address it, which
- 45:44they ultimately did. He confirmed that there have
- 45:47been 3 notes so far. They were not different authors.
- 45:51He said the imposter. Here are my notes from that.
- 45:55The imposter was not somebody connected to the notes.
- 45:58I should say Note 3 copies of which were sent out when asked
- 46:05specifically if they've ruled out any suspects, they're
- 46:09specifically asking about the brother-in-law or I guess the
- 46:12son-in-law to to the victim. They said not yet.
- 46:17He did not or they did not say how entry was made in the house
- 46:23when it came to DNA. They, they said that the DNA,
- 46:28any DNA collection of evidence is handled by the Sheriff's
- 46:34Office. So their crime scene unit would
- 46:35have gone in, they would have taken biological evidence.
- 46:38They said there was biological evidence that they took from
- 46:40inside the house. They did not say what the
- 46:43biological evidence was. They did not say if it was blood
- 46:46or not. They just said it was biological
- 46:50and that is being sent out to different places.
- 46:52If there are hits of of other DNA that is not Nancy.
- 47:00The FBI special agent in charge said that they would they had
- 47:04the the resources and would offer those resources and those
- 47:09services to do genetic genealogy.
- 47:11They would get involved that way.
- 47:14Let's see. Confirmation that the front door
- 47:19camera is not in the possession of the police because of AI.
- 47:24They can't use the video as proof of life or I'm sorry, they
- 47:29can't use video as proof of life.
- 47:31So the that that kind of feels like there may have been video
- 47:38that came in with the ransom demand or maybe a screenshot or
- 47:44a photograph, but they're saying we don't trust, we don't trust
- 47:48our day and age. We can't tell.
- 47:50That's proof of life. Let's see, the sheriff confirmed
- 47:59that most of the evidence is technological, but there was
- 48:02some biological evidence also collected the OK Brian and
- 48:09reported yesterday that the FB is team, their card team, which
- 48:15is a rapid deployment team. When there is an abduction, you,
- 48:20it's the child abduction rapid deployment team.
- 48:24In this case, obviously our victim is not a child.
- 48:26But the card team reported Brian Enten was seen going into the
- 48:32house with a tripod, the kind of tripod where you put a phone on
- 48:37it to take video and a ring light.
- 48:41The FBI special agent charge said that they did provide
- 48:45consultation. They were there.
- 48:48They did give advice about putting out that message.
- 48:54Let's see. When asked if they've been
- 48:58contacted with anyone they believe is the kidnapper, they
- 49:03simply responded. Nobody's been ruled out yet.
- 49:06They said the billboards are planned to be put up in
- 49:09neighboring states. There were lots of questions
- 49:13actually about Mexico. I'll get into those in a little
- 49:17bit. But let's see, for the
- 49:19son-in-law, they were asking, where are you actively looking
- 49:23at him? And the answer is we're actively
- 49:26looking at everybody connected to the case.
- 49:28But again, no prime sons suspect.
- 49:31The family has been cooperative and have done everything that we
- 49:35have asked them to do. I'm going to bring up this
- 49:38screenshot one more time of the three kids.
- 49:43When asked, you know, if blood evidence was found in another
- 49:46spot of the house, he said there's other biological
- 49:48evidence that was collected, but he didn't say what it was.
- 49:52Yes, he said they've done door to door canvassing for video and
- 49:56witnesses and things like that. They said that the family wants
- 50:01to be contacted by ransomers. They said the family has decided
- 50:08again, the FBI through their card team and through the surg
- 50:14team and their crisis negotiators advising the family,
- 50:21the family decided that they want to talk to whoever is
- 50:25sending the ransom notes and but they have, but they wouldn't say
- 50:32have they talked to them yet. When asked about any connection
- 50:39with Mexican authorities, they said they didn't have any reason
- 50:43to believe that she would be taken over the border.
- 50:48Let's see. Oh, but they had been in touch
- 50:55with the Mexican consulate. Yeah, about the medications.
- 51:00They said as part of their investigation, they have
- 51:01contacted area pharmacies looking for anybody getting her
- 51:07medications that are out of the ordinary.
- 51:10They did hospital checks. They said we're looking for her
- 51:14everywhere. When asked about being out of
- 51:18the country, they said we'll follow the facts.
- 51:20There's no indication that she's in Mexico.
- 51:25Are the notes all the same? Yes.
- 51:30Any cleanup signs that I thought that was a terrific question.
- 51:34Are there any signs that anything was cleaned up in the
- 51:38house, that the crime scene was staged or cleaned up?
- 51:41They said no comment on that. When asked about who's in charge
- 51:45of the investigation, the sheriff said, hey, there's no
- 51:48ego here. It's not about who's in charge.
- 51:50It's about working together to to solve the case.
- 51:57When asked about evidence that was taken out yesterday after
- 52:00the crime scene tape went up, he said, yeah, there was evidence
- 52:03that was taken out there. I just reminded myself, I just
- 52:07want to check the live updates here, see if there's anything
- 52:11that has gone on while we've been talking about nothing.
- 52:21Yeah, nothing. Nothing new.
- 52:22I just want to. But tell me in the comments if
- 52:24you guys see anything. They asked if FBI Director Neil
- 52:29Patel is it. Neil?
- 52:31FBI Director Patel is coming. The special agent in charge,
- 52:37Yankee, said that he is being briefed daily.
- 52:41He had a trip already scheduled to Tucson.
- 52:43It was pre scheduled and he is coming to the area.
- 52:46It's not going to be today. Let's see the deadline.
- 52:54I guess it would be right now. We we will have passed the
- 52:57deadline. The deadline was 5:00 PM today
- 53:02to send money, but there was a second deadline that is Monday.
- 53:10They won't disclose. They said if there's an
- 53:14ultimatum on the ransom notes. Let's see.
- 53:21They've got a whole bunch of camera footage that they're
- 53:23reviewing. There were multiple cameras at
- 53:25the house. Is it possible this is not a
- 53:28ransom situation? Was one of the questions.
- 53:30The answer was yes, it's possible.
- 53:34Was she targeted? That this was a two-part
- 53:39question. Was she targeted?
- 53:40No idea. Is it possible that she was
- 53:44targeted because she is Savannah Guthrie's mom and they said
- 53:48there's no indication that that is the case.
- 53:59Is the Bitcoin thing being investigated?
- 54:02Yes, it is. What is the motive?
- 54:05Motive is something that obviously we all want to know.
- 54:09It certainly helps in an investigation.
- 54:12But he said we don't know right now.
- 54:14And then no plans for further press conferences without a case
- 54:21update. Those are my notes, guys.
- 54:25My notes. Let me go over to what you guys
- 54:28are saying. I know some of you have said
- 54:31he's Barney Fife. I do not think so.
- 54:33I think he is awesome. Page girl says just joining your
- 54:40live. If Nancy's on a regular medicine
- 54:42regimen, I'm curious if the kidnappers thought about it
- 54:45grabbing her prescriptions to administer those.
- 54:47It sounds like they didn't based on what Savannah Guthrie said
- 54:55and Annie Guthrie said in that video and you know, talking
- 55:00about she is without life saving medicine and the whole idea of
- 55:05going to pharmacies to see who is taking out that medicine.
- 55:08It seems like probably not. Betty 8642.
- 55:13Did she have a dog? From my understanding, and this
- 55:16is not, I don't know at this point it's rumors.
- 55:19I do not think that she had a dog living at the time.
- 55:23I think she she has pictures of her with her dog, but I think
- 55:26her dog had passed away, But I don't I don't know that Wendy
- 55:33Kara says you're the most humble host on here.
- 55:36I appreciate. Well, thank you.
- 55:41I thank you. I think there are a lot of
- 55:46really good, especially here on YouTube, hosts that do a
- 55:50terrific job. I lots of them.
- 55:53My, my short list is Josh Ritter over at courtroom confidential,
- 55:59Joel Waldman over at surviving the survivor and Ghisla Kay over
- 56:03at grizzly true crime. Those, those are my ogs.
- 56:05And then when it comes to the non live streamers, my, my
- 56:10favorite by far is Cherylin Dale lover.
- 56:14Love, love, love Cherylin. Oh, by the way, I'm I heard from
- 56:17Cherylin yesterday. I'm really, really hoping that I
- 56:21will be at crime con this year in May Don't know yet though I
- 56:27know a couple of you have asked about that Teresa saying loving
- 56:31the long hair. Thank you.
- 56:33That makes one of us. I'm hating the long hair, but I,
- 56:37I committed to it and I it it has slowed down its growth and I
- 56:43think I will have to go through August or maybe September before
- 56:47I can donate it. Cherish Brittany says do you
- 56:50believe she's alive? I, I am choosing to hope that
- 56:59she is alive. I I'm going to hold on to that
- 57:04hope until we are told that we shouldn't hold on to that hope.
- 57:11I'm well aware. I'm not naive.
- 57:13I'm well aware that the as the hours pass, the likelihood
- 57:19diminishes. But I am going to hold on to
- 57:23hope that she is still on God's green earth.
- 57:31Nona Rock, says Gavin, how do you show proof of life in an AI
- 57:34age, man, what? There's the $64,000 question.
- 57:39Is it a hole like holding up a newspaper?
- 57:43Because even that seems like it can be faked, you know, Is it
- 57:48actually a video of her talking, maybe saying something that only
- 57:53she would know, you know, using some sort of code word that that
- 58:01they would understand? I don't know.
- 58:07Make update with Jack 8959. Would you be willing to do a
- 58:11show on what kind of security camera systems are good and bad?
- 58:17Maybe if I get an expert on here.
- 58:20I know an expert I know as hold on, I know a cybersecurity
- 58:25expert that I could ask. She's awesome.
- 58:30Maybe I might be willing to do that.
- 58:32I I don't know how many people would watch that.
- 58:34But yeah, fourth opinion says the brother is speaking now on
- 58:40Instagram. Let me.
- 58:48Let's see videos, see if there's anything I can see.
- 58:57What is Guthrie brother name? No, not Woody Cameron Guthrie I
- 59:15think is his name. Let's see Cameron Guthrie.
- 59:20So Cameron Guthrie Instagram. Let me take a look.
- 59:34I don't see anything that's happening yet.
- 59:38Let me just see if I no that's a different Cameron spelled
- 59:45differently. Let's see if I can see anything
- 59:53on here. OK, this was from 7 minutes ago.
- 1:00:03Thanks for bringing that up forth opinion.
- 1:00:05You are awesome. See if we can.
- 1:00:10Guthrie I'm speaking for the Guthrie family.
- 1:00:12Let. Me refresh it.
- 1:00:15I'm speaking for the Guthrie family.
- 1:00:18Whoever is out there holding our mother, we want to hear from
- 1:00:21you. We haven't heard anything
- 1:00:23directly. We need you to reach out and we
- 1:00:25need a way to communicate with you so we can move forward.
- 1:00:29But first we have to know that you have our mom.
- 1:00:32We want to talk to you and we are waiting for contact.
- 1:00:36This is Cameron Guthrie. I'm speaking for the Guthrie
- 1:00:39family. And that was 8 minutes ago.
- 1:00:44Let's let's let's listen to it one more time.
- 1:00:47Whoever is out there holding our mother, we want to hear from
- 1:00:51you. We haven't heard anything
- 1:00:52directly. We need you to reach out and we
- 1:00:55need a way to communicate with you so we can move forward.
- 1:00:58But first we have to know that you have our mom.
- 1:01:01We want to talk to you and we are waiting for contact.
- 1:01:05Talk about poise, man, talk about poise.
- 1:01:10I don't know what your thoughts are on that fourth opinion.
- 1:01:12Thank you so much for for pointing that out.
- 1:01:15Let's just watch it one more time.
- 1:01:18This is Cameron Guthrie. I'm speaking for the Guthrie
- 1:01:20family. Whoever is out there holding our
- 1:01:23mother, we want to hear from you.
- 1:01:25We haven't heard anything directly.
- 1:01:27We need you to reach out and we need a way to communicate with
- 1:01:30you so we can move forward. But first we have to know that
- 1:01:33you have our mom. We want to talk to you and we
- 1:01:36are waiting for contact. OK, They want to talk to them.
- 1:01:41They want to know that their mom is still alive.
- 1:01:44They have not talked to them so far.
- 1:01:47That. I mean, that's that's what we
- 1:01:48learned right there. Thank you.
- 1:01:50Fourth opinion. Deeply appreciate you keeping
- 1:01:53me, keeping me or yeah, keeping me in the know.
- 1:02:00Betty says you and true Grizzly are the best.
- 1:02:03Well, thank you very much. Appreciate that.
- 1:02:06Mariana says they seem to be trying to convey the message
- 1:02:11that she cannot survive without the medication in order to scare
- 1:02:13the kidnapper, indicating that if she dies they have a much
- 1:02:17more serious problem. Yeah, I don't disagree with
- 1:02:22that. Simple proof of life, says the
- 1:02:26top end to you asked three specific questions only she
- 1:02:30would know like what was the breed and name of your white dog
- 1:02:32in the 90s etcetera etcetera. Real happy says thank you for
- 1:02:38being a reporter. I can trust appreciate your
- 1:02:40integrity. I I appreciate your trust.
- 1:02:42Thank you. I wonder if the 2 girls says
- 1:02:46Diane's view keep repeating mommy and Mama during the
- 1:02:50response to kidnappers was to alert the mom to stay awake or
- 1:02:54if the ransom note had an image of the mom unconscious.
- 1:02:58Or maybe it's something to humanize their mother as a
- 1:03:05victim. Miss Bree 9690, Is it possible
- 1:03:11if it's someone she knows that's close to her?
- 1:03:14Could have been hoarding some medication gradually.
- 1:03:16Man, you'd have to be an amazing, like, movie villain to
- 1:03:25to be able to do that. I don't know.
- 1:03:29Maybe they're hoping for in person proof of life perhaps.
- 1:03:35Kathy Lou says everyone needs a greeting or a sentence.
- 1:03:37The family will say if they are in distress, especially since
- 1:03:40AI. Great.
- 1:03:42That is great advice. Thank you very much.
- 1:03:48Out of the Woods says I would watch a show about security
- 1:03:50cameras. OK.
- 1:03:51All right, Driftwood lover, I can't see what you previously
- 1:03:56put. You have to you have to do the
- 1:03:57whole thing with the GF, please. Thank you, Savannah's IG.
- 1:04:01I appreciate that, Driftwood lover.
- 1:04:04There we go. I'd be interested in a program
- 1:04:06on security cameras. OK.
- 1:04:08Yeah, we will. We'll try to put that together,
- 1:04:11couple more that have come in and then we'll move on.
- 1:04:15Holly from Oil City here. Will you be doing a video on the
- 1:04:18many debts including missing Jason Firster Junior about Oil
- 1:04:22City's wide bridge? I was just talking to somebody
- 1:04:24about Oil City's wide bridge today.
- 1:04:28I did try to meet with Jason Firster's mom a couple of times
- 1:04:34and outside of my control that did not, that did not work out.
- 1:04:40I have done a video on I am blanking on his name.
- 1:04:47Gavin, you should know this. I have done a video.
- 1:04:52I'm blanking on his name. I'm, I'm so sorry.
- 1:04:54Just you know, with the lights on and me focused on this, I, I
- 1:04:59can't remember his name on the off the top of my head.
- 1:05:02Jujube, jujube, jujube. Be mad, he says.
- 1:05:07We haven't heard anything directly.
- 1:05:08Does that mean they aren't putting much credit into the
- 1:05:10ransom note? Maybe reading too much?
- 1:05:12I think they just want to know, is this is this real or not?
- 1:05:16We want to talk to you. Beach Ferry AI still can't seem
- 1:05:22to make human hands look right, even on the really convincing
- 1:05:25stuff. Now if you look at the hands,
- 1:05:26they're always weird. That is.
- 1:05:28It's getting better. It's scary how how good it's
- 1:05:32getting. Sunny Buns, 1234.
- 1:05:37Gavin, as a reporter, did you find it strange that they
- 1:05:40couldn't confirm or deny forced entry?
- 1:05:41I guess it felt like if it was forced entry by a stranger, they
- 1:05:45would have said that, that to alert the public.
- 1:05:48I didn't find it terribly strange.
- 1:05:50I think that they're just, they're facts about the case
- 1:05:52that they're holding close to the vest.
- 1:06:00There will be no talking. That's dangerous.
- 1:06:02I would only do secured electronic comms.
- 1:06:04Untraceable. Yeah, maybe that was a signal.
- 1:06:12Maybe they never called her mommy or Mama.
- 1:06:14Could be, could be. Great comments, guys, great
- 1:06:18comments. OK, listen, we're going to keep
- 1:06:20on this case. This is an important case.
- 1:06:23We want to help Nancy Guthrie be brought home safe and sound.
- 1:06:30So we'll continue on that. Let's let's finish out the show
- 1:06:33with three questions and headlines.
- 1:06:34Here we go. It's three questions with Gavin
- 1:06:42Pow. OK.
- 1:06:43In this segment, guys, I answer three of your questions that you
- 1:06:46send to three questions at gavinfish.com, all spelled out.
- 1:06:50Everything's on the table, nothing's off the table.
- 1:06:52I will answer any question that you give me.
- 1:06:53I will do so honestly, forthrightly, and to the best of
- 1:06:57my knowledge, I don't get tons of tons of these questions.
- 1:07:02My queue is getting pretty short, so if you have a question
- 1:07:06for yours truly, please send it in to threequestions.com.
- 1:07:10I'm sorry, three questions at gavinfish.com and I will do my
- 1:07:12best to answer them. Question #1 Tonight is have you
- 1:07:16ever been to Punxsutawney Gobblers Knob on Groundhog's
- 1:07:19Day? Indeed I have, but you know, I
- 1:07:21have never been there on the eve of Groundhog's Day, moving into
- 1:07:27the giant celebration which happens all through the night
- 1:07:30and into the early morning. The times that I have gone, I
- 1:07:34have waited for the crowd to disperse and then I go to
- 1:07:36Gobblers Knob and take pictures and stuff like that.
- 1:07:39I it's fun to do it with family. Gobblers Knob is nothing like
- 1:07:45the movie Groundhog Day that was, that was filmed probably in
- 1:07:49like Indiana or something like that.
- 1:07:52Punxsutawney is just like every other town here in Western
- 1:07:55Pennsylvania, a a very hilly rolling town.
- 1:08:01And Gobblers Knob is a, is a spot out in the woods.
- 1:08:04It's a, it's not in the middle of town.
- 1:08:06It's a spot out in the woods outside of town.
- 1:08:08And it's a lovely, lovely spot. Question #2 what are your
- 1:08:12thoughts on why no one went to the judge's chambers?
- 1:08:15Oh, we're talking about Kevin Mullins here.
- 1:08:16I think when the shots were heard, I feel that at the very
- 1:08:20least someone should have been standing outside the door with a
- 1:08:23weapon drawn when Mickey exited the chambers.
- 1:08:27Here are my thoughts. It takes an extremely trained
- 1:08:35and practiced person to run toward gunshots.
- 1:08:42Everybody else runs. And if you think that you
- 1:08:46wouldn't, I'm telling you, unless you practice it, you
- 1:08:52would run. So now there should have been a
- 1:08:56bailiff in the in the courthouse, right?
- 1:08:58Should have been a so there should have been somebody who
- 1:09:00was like gunshots, where do I go?
- 1:09:06But for for everybody else, people who work in the court,
- 1:09:10they hear that they have to process it.
- 1:09:12It it's like that. I think I would look like that
- 1:09:15moment where George Bush was, George W Bush was reading to
- 1:09:19kindergarteners and it was told America's under attack.
- 1:09:21I think I would be like skedaddle.
- 1:09:28So that's what I think now. The, the police should have
- 1:09:31responded quicker. I think the question #3 if you
- 1:09:35were getting a new puppy, what would you name it?
- 1:09:38Now this is a question that I want your answers to.
- 1:09:42I will tell you in my life, we tend to name our animals human
- 1:09:48names that are long. I, I just don't like, I don't
- 1:09:53like Buddy or Fido or you know, Bear or I, I mean, everybody's
- 1:10:01welcome to name their cats and dogs their animals, whatever
- 1:10:05they want. I am a human name giver to pets.
- 1:10:13So for example, we had a dog named Marshall.
- 1:10:18Marshall's name was the Marshall Wyatt Earp Fish.
- 1:10:22We had a dog named Watson, He was Doctor John Watson Fish.
- 1:10:27We had a dog named Livi. Her name was Olivia Newton John
- 1:10:31Fish. We have cats right now named
- 1:10:35Elizabeth Haynes and Judith Haynes.
- 1:10:39We call him Betty and Judy. So if I were getting a new puppy
- 1:10:43right now, I, I would got to go, oh, I had a Dalmatian when I was
- 1:10:53in my early 20s named Rolly because there was a Rolly, the
- 1:10:58little chubby one on 101 Dalmatian Dalmatians.
- 1:11:01I named him Rolly, but his name was the Baron Roland Poli von
- 1:11:06Spot. So I like long names.
- 1:11:09What would I, what would I name a puppy?
- 1:11:13I, I feel like, I feel like a puppy.
- 1:11:16Maybe Jeremy, maybe Jeremy. I I'd have to figure out how
- 1:11:23long of it. Like how could I or Taylor or
- 1:11:28something like like that. Oh, what's another great name?
- 1:11:37Just just a regular person named Dylan, Something like that.
- 1:11:43But I'd love to hear your ideas on what you would name your
- 1:11:47puppy and send me your questions, no matter how
- 1:11:50ridiculous or fun, to three questions at gavinfish.com.
- 1:11:54And to give you a little time to work out your little thumbs to
- 1:11:57tell me your answer to those questions.
- 1:12:00Let's look at some headlines. True crime headlines.
- 1:12:09Okie dokie. Just a couple of true crime
- 1:12:13headlines here. Wrong button, Gavin.
- 1:12:15There we go. We're going over here.
- 1:12:18Man who falsely claimed he killed Charlie Kirk is sentenced
- 1:12:21to prison. This from the New York Times.
- 1:12:24In the frenzied moments after the conservative activist
- 1:12:27Charlie Kirk was gunned down in September in Utah, a 71 year old
- 1:12:32man approached a detective and began screaming, Official said.
- 1:12:35I shot him, now shoot me. The man, George Zen, was briefly
- 1:12:39detained for questioning, but the police later determined he
- 1:12:41had not been involved in Mr. Kirk's killing.
- 1:12:44Instead, he told the authorities that he had falsely confessed to
- 1:12:46help the real assassin escape. Mr. Zen pleaded no contest last
- 1:12:51Thursday to 1 count of obstruction of justice and faces
- 1:12:54up to five years in prison on the charge.
- 1:12:59Says that he was sentenced to prison.
- 1:13:01Now they're saying he's facing it, blah, blah, blah, blah,
- 1:13:05blah, blah, blah, blah. OK, that is the world's worst
- 1:13:09headline. So he's facing up to 15 years in
- 1:13:12prison, I guess. All right, New York Times, I
- 1:13:16expected better from you. And this one from News Nation.
- 1:13:20In the case of the death of Celeste Rivas Hernandez, we've
- 1:13:26got an expert saying David facing a weak case and her
- 1:13:30death. News Nation reporter Lauren
- 1:13:34Conlon believes there's a weak case against music artist Davis
- 1:13:37David regarding the death of Celeste David.
- 1:13:40Anthony Burke is reportedly considered a suspect in her
- 1:13:43death after police discovered her body September 8th in his
- 1:13:46Tesla. Neil Langston, a friend of
- 1:13:49David, was arrested in Montana late January.
- 1:13:52Blah, blah, blah. And then she says this is really
- 1:13:56not adding up. And I'm starting to get really
- 1:13:59worried here. I mean, this is taking long
- 1:14:02enough as it is, but you've got a little girl who was found in
- 1:14:05the trunk of a popular 20 year old singer's car.
- 1:14:08I mean, what are we doing here? Conlin told News Nation.
- 1:14:11I'm beginning to think that this is a weak case.
- 1:14:14And actually, you know what, I take it back.
- 1:14:16I'm not beginning to think I thought this from the start,
- 1:14:18essentially when there wasn't an arrest pretty much immediately
- 1:14:22after the body of a teenager is found in someone's car, she
- 1:14:25added. So we're keeping an eye on that
- 1:14:29case for sure. Those are your headlines, true
- 1:14:38crime headlines. Wow.
- 1:14:40OK, getting to your comments before we finish, let's see what
- 1:14:45we got. Redondo Beach is saying.
- 1:14:48One of my cats is named Your Honor.
- 1:14:49He holds me in contempt when he doesn't get temptations.
- 1:14:53That is good. That is good.
- 1:14:56I had a cousin who named their cat.
- 1:14:57Damn it, come here. Damn it is what they'd always
- 1:15:02say. Penguin, says Dog Trainer.
- 1:15:03Say a dog name should be two syllables and contain heart
- 1:15:07consonants. K&T.
- 1:15:10Maybe I would name my dog Kirk Cameron or something like that.
- 1:15:13I don't know. I don't know.
- 1:15:14I don't know. Garth V Nut.
- 1:15:16I would name a new puppy. Bam Bam.
- 1:15:18Since I have pebbles. Yeah, I like that idea.
- 1:15:22Not a rock, says Shastina. OK, Miss Chivo's Dragon.
- 1:15:29If I had three new puppies, I would name them alfalfa,
- 1:15:32tarragon and coriander. I like it.
- 1:15:36Gavin Dougal or Dougal puppy Dougal?
- 1:15:41Dougal. We had friends who named their
- 1:15:44dog Doug and it it wasn't terribly creative because Doug
- 1:15:48is a dog from up the movie Up and he was a golden retriever or
- 1:15:55golden lab, can't remember. But Doug, Doug was a great dog
- 1:15:59and he still is. Doug is a great dog and I love
- 1:16:03that his name is Doug. Anyway, anything else?
- 1:16:09My last dog was Skipper Dee Doo dah day.
- 1:16:12That's cute. That is cute.
- 1:16:14All right, guys, thank you so much for joining me today.
- 1:16:17We are once again, like I said, we're going to keep on the case.
- 1:16:21This is 1 where we want to help find Miss Guthrie.
- 1:16:27See if there's anything else on Savannah Guthrie's Instagram
- 1:16:30page since that post doesn't look like it.
- 1:16:33That post is now up to 33,000 likes.
- 1:16:38Hey, you can always find more information about me and the
- 1:16:41cases that I cover on gavinfish.com.

- 1:16:49on Facebook where we hang out and talk about all things true
- 1:16:53crime. I'm so glad that you guys spent
- 1:16:56a lot of time with me. I'm so glad for those of you who
- 1:16:58hung out all the way to the end. We will be back tomorrow at 6:00
- 1:17:03PM Eastern Time right here on this channel.
- 1:17:05I want to get to the TEPI case, but we're going to stay here on

- 1:17:15case continue to get eyeballs and until Miss Guthrie is found.

- 1:17:21Thank you very much for being here.
