  Sheriff's Office, the FBI, they're just treating it as if

  it is. And it's a lead that they're

  sharp as a tack, but elderly. She's aged.

  She was described as not being able to go 50 yards without

  help. So you know, maybe she's just

  not, she's ambulatory, let's say.

  But maybe like as most 84 year olds need some need some help

  getting around. She was last seen and there was

  a bit of a timeline that was shared with us today.

  We're going to get into that timeline as they get into my

  notes. But she was last seen at about

  9:45 on Saturday night when she was dropped off at her house by
• 6:31
  members of her family. The following day on Sunday,
• 6:37
  just this past Sunday, she didn't come to church.

  That was out of character for her.
• 6:43
  So church members called her family who headed over to her
• 6:47
  house to check on her and did not find her, called 911 and the
• 6:52
  investigation began like that. Now she is the mother of
• 6:58
  somebody who is famous here in the United States, A journalist,

  former Court TV reporter, lawyer, current host or Co host
• 7:08
  of NB CS Today show, which is a morning time show on one of our
• 7:14
  major networks for those of you who are outside of the United
• 7:16
  States. So Savannah Guthrie is well
• 7:19
  known. She's she's liked, she's
• 7:22
  respected and and Nancy has been on the show a couple of times.

  So there's a little bit of fame there.

  And it is caused many of us to question, hey, is, was she

  targeted because she is the mother of a famous act or well,

  a journalist. The, the police talked about

  that a little bit today, gave us their, their thoughts on that.

  The FBI had a little bit to say about that today.

  about a ransom letter in the media.

  As a family, we are doing everything that we can.

  We are ready to talk. However, we live in a world

  where voices and images are easily manipulated.

  We need to know without a doubt that she is alive and that you

  have her. We want to hear from you and we

  a range of emotions that that are probably dissonant one being

  just the absolute heartbreak, heartbreak and terror of losing

  your mom losing not meaning that I know that she's dead or

  anything, but she's not around, right?

  Number 2, knowing that there's a media frenzy surrounding this,

  including new media like my channel, but lots of legacy

  media, lots of big networks, including the network that she

  works for NBC. And then knowing that the media

  can be used in order to get to get this information that that

  they can utilize the media to their advantage.

  And so my heart goes out to the the entire Guthrie family for

  for this. Now I saw a comment, I saw a

  again. Had to do with something that

  was on Megyn Kelly. Yeah, here it is.

  Chasing Sunshine said Megyn Kelly team suggesting Nancy did

  not go to church but attended virtually.

  Also suggested common for one who calls in the missing person

  could be guilty. So let's just talk about that

  for a second. This is possible, OK.

  However, it is speculation and I'm not calling out Megyn Kelly

  or her team at all on this because I engage in the same

  thing. It's possible.

  Yesterday when we talked about Ashley Banfield talking about

  her, her sources saying different things, I think she

  probably did have a source. Maybe the source was just wrong

  or maybe the source was right and the police didn't really

  want to, doesn't want to talk about that or doesn't want that
• 15:35
  information really out there. I don't know.

  It's possible that somebody close to the to Nancy is the

  guilty party. Totally possible.

  It's all and and in fact, it might even be a little more

  probable. It might be, but that doesn't

  mean that it's not possible that it's a perfect stranger.

  OK, now it's really funny because when I started taking my

  notes, I just grabbed a piece of paper that this happens to be

  some work that was done on my car last week and I just like I

  need scratch paper. They were they're going so

  a couple things that came up. I think maybe what we should do

  is start with a timeline and up until today, the timeline of the

  case included 22 important times when the last time she was seen

  and then when family came to check on her.

  It is available on, you know, on the media and everything, but

  these were just my notes. OK, so oh, actually the first

  thing that the sheriff said was that they've brought in more

  personnel, statewide personnel that he called it the Peekrit

  team. I can't remember what that

  stands for, but basically wanted to.

  Basically, it's just people from different municipalities, local

  and state law enforcement agencies that have come in to

  work the case a little bit more. He said they have not ID Ed a

  suspect or a person of interest. And there certainly isn't a

  prime suspect as was reported yesterday by Banfield.

  Now, in fairness to Ashley Banfield, she was very careful

  to say, you know, a prime suspect could just be that

  they're working from the family and going to work in concentric
• 17:57
  circles on the way out. But she did name a

  brother-in-law, Tomaso Sione. The the sheriff today said we

  haven't ruled anybody out, but we have not identified A
• 18:11
  suspect, a person of interest, certainly not a prime suspect.

  Then he got into the timeline. He said at 5:32 PM, Nancy

  Guthrie travelled to be with family for games and for dinner.

  She took an Uber and and went over for family dinner for games

  I think he didn't say specifically, but I think that

  was with Annie's family at Annie's home at 948.

  She was dropped off at home. This is all on Saturday, right?

  What day is that? Saturday would have been January

  31st. Saturday, then at 9:50 PM, they

  have a timestamp of when her garage door closed.

  So the thinking is she was dropped off at 948.

  She goes inside, the garage door closes.

  Must be a smart garage that logs that or a security system.

  And then on Sunday morning, they said at 1:47 AM, the doorbell

  camera disconnected. He went on to say that they do

  not have the doorbell camera in their possession.

  Now, we had a photo of this. Let me just come over here.

  This was the photo that was published to News Nation.

  But I can drag this up a little bit.

  And we had wondered yesterday about the Ring Cam or the Nest

  Cam mount here. I think it is a Nest Cam that

  doesn't have a camera on there. The police said this is not in

  their possession, this camera and it was disconnected at 1:47

  AM and get back down to here because we're going to we're

  going to get into the blood evidence here in just a bit at

  212 AMA person was detected on a camera on a smart camera now.

  I would imagine if it was, if the doorbell Cam was

  disconnected, it would have been a different Cam.

  He did not get into that. What he did say is that Miss

  Guthrie did not have a subscription to a cloud based

  security system and so they had talked with that company.

  The company does not have video. The video overwrites itself

  automatically depending on, you know, how much storage it has.

  And so they don't have the video they but they have the log that

  a person it was detected. He does not.

  The sheriff did not know if that meant movement was detected or

  if it's smart enough to determine that it was a person

  or if it could have been an animal.

  pacemaker disconnects via Bluetooth from her phone.

  That that seems to be the time in which they think that she was

  taken from the house at 11:56 AM.

  That is when her family checked on her.

  They drove to her house, they checked on her, they found the

  scene. I don't know if they were able

  to tell, hey, we got an issue here or or if it was the

  professional eyes of detectives that said this is a crime scene,

  but but she was missing. They couldn't find her.

  At 12 O 3:00 PM on Sunday, February 1st was the 911 call.

  Police arrived just a few minutes after and then that's

  how the investigation began. Couple other things from my

  This this what appears to be blood droplets, blood spatter

  and even a little misting. I don't know if you guys can can

  tell that the middle of that constellation, that top

  constellation looks like misting to me.

  They did submit that to DNA and did not get any hits other than

  they know that is Nancy's. We don't know if this occurred

  as part of the crime or something else.

  We don't know. He sheriff said he could not

  confirm that any of the cameras in the house were And I think I

  have a paused video. This is this one was from the

  third. But there's there's a sheriff

  right there is a sheriff Nanos. I think this wasn't from today's

  but just just for the sake of having a photo of the sheriff

  up. The cameras being smashed was

  another thing that came from a source from Ashley Banfield.

  He said he would not confirm that any of the cameras were

  smashed. He did say yesterday while you

  and I were together, Brian, and did some amazing reporting.

  And he had a drone out there with his camera guy.

  And last night, as you and I were speaking in the live chat,

  you guys told me that, you know, there was action happening at

  Nancy's house. Crime scene tape had been put

  up. People were out there.

  Enten's crew put up their drone, and they were able to watch as

  investigators looked at the car in her garage, which looked to

  me like a Subaru wagon. And when talking about the car

  at the home and, and looking into that, sheriff was very
• 24:35
  clear that he said, you know, the FBI wanted to look at the
• 24:38
  scene. We got permission from the
• 24:40
  family. He did kind of let it slip, at
• 24:43
  least to my notes. And I do remember this, that it
• 24:47
  seems like they did get a warrant, a judicial warrant.

  And but he said that looking in the car was just part of
• 24:55
  standard investigation. The FBI wanted to see the scene.

  They got permission. I think they probably got a
• 25:01
  warrant too, though I don't think they needed that with
• 25:04
  permission. And he says just part of the
• 25:07
  standard investigation can't tell us any details on what they
• 25:11
  found in there or what they did or didn't find in there.

  He said that he, his team, his detectives have talked to the

  Uber driver who took her to dinner with family, said that
• 25:25
  they had they've talked with everybody, members of the family
• 25:29
  and anybody that was that was connected to the case.

  He did not say exactly what the Uber driver said.

  Let's see, there's been some reporting that there was a

  forced entry at the house. Sheriff Nanos said that he has
• 25:51
  no clue where the news originated, that there was

  forced entry at Nancy Guthrie's house and he is not going to

  confirm it. He's not going to discuss it, he
• 26:10
  said. Next came the special agent in

  charge, Mr. Janke or YY. I don't know how to pronounce

  his name. Sorry guys.

  He's the special agent in charge of the Phoenix.

  What do they call those? The the Phoenix office, field

  office of the FBI. He announced that there is a

  $50,000 reward being offered now for any information leading to

  finding Nancy Guthrie and or anything that might lead to an
• 26:48
  arrest and a conviction of those responsible.

  He said that a group out of Quantico is in the area, the
• 26:55
  critical incident response group called SURG.

  He's got. He said that they are analyzing

  information from banks, from social media, basically their

  expertise. One of the expertises that they

  hold out is in digital forensics and that he is helping with with

  that or I guess they are helping with that.

  In regards to the ransom letter, Special Agent in Charge Yankee

  said that they're aware of the ransom letter.

  They're taking it seriously. He was very sure to say that the

  family is the one that gets to decide how to respond, if they
• 27:51
  want to respond, and how to respond to the ransom letters.

  He, he said that they offer guidance, they offer help, but

  that it's up to the family to decide what it is that they're
• 28:07
  going to do. He did later on in question and

  answer talk about how they, they have, I think that was at the
• 28:16
  top of this page. The FBI does have crisis
• 28:22
  negotiators locally and the surg team that came in from Quantico
• 28:26
  that can help. But but he said the family
• 28:32
  wanted to be contacted by the ransomers.

  If, if it is, if it is a if it's a real deal.

  Of course, in the in the video that the Guthrie's made, they

  made a point of saying, hey, we've got no proof of life here.

  We live in an era where AI can create the most convincing

  videos. We need proof of life.

  And then the special Agent Yankee was very thankful to the

  media for all the tips that are coming in.

  an imposter and he clarified that a little bit later.
