- Jessica Figueroa: Good morning, everyone. Thank you so much for joining us day after day after day. It really means a lot to me. Today, on just for today, we are going to talk about generosity. Because generosity is something we should be thinking about. We should should be a part of our life. But generosity should not be something that we are trying to necessarily be fair. God is going to call each person to be generous in a different way. So just because they ask for a tip or they ask for money or round up, have you seen that one? Does not mean you have to say yes. Are you in the habit of being flippant about your generosity? And if you are, are you adding up what that might be? Because if you round up for every time they ask, do you want to round up for this and round up for that? While they're all worthy causes, what if there's something you should be supporting with that same amount of money? Where is God calling you to be generous? And are you praying about it? Are you seeking it out? Because when you find your place, when you find where God has you being generous, then you can be more intentional. And then when it says round up or tip here or tip there, you know that your generosity is going somewhere. How many of us are generous people by nature? But because we haven't focused our generosity on where God would have us be generous, we're kind of randomly giving and randomly helping, which is all great. And maybe you could do both. But today's podcast is about focusing your generosity and seeking God's will on where He would have you be generous. And then choosing that place for generosity. And remember, generosity is not always fair. Generosity does not always look fair. You could be generous to one and not the other. And maybe they know each other. And that's okay. Fairness is not generosity. If you worry too much about fairness and your generosity, You might slip into entitling people or things. And we don't want to do that. So today we're gonna lean into generosity. We're gonna think about it. We're gonna evaluate the places that God's calling us to be generous. We're gonna evaluate the amount of times we're generous without thinking about it and being intentional. And are we doing that because we're trying to be generous or are we doing it because we're trying to be fair? Are we entitling people with our generosity? Today we're gonna think about it. We're gonna think about it. That's it. Just for today. We do hard things here.
