30. Flowers · Just For Today

Jessica Figueroa: Hey everyone, Cindy here with your Just For Today podcast here to just inspire you to do something just for today. And when we add up those little things just from today, before we know it, we're living that life by purpose and design. So just for today, we're gonna stop and get ourselves some flowers. That's it. If you don't want to spend money, I want you to stop. Don't go to your neighbor's yard, but I would like you to stop somewhere where there's some beautiful flowers that God planted somewhere where you're able to pick them. And I want you to pull over, pick some. Or you can stop at the store and grab some flowers. And I want you to go home and put them in a vase. If you don't have a vase, I want you to put them in a jar. If you don't have a jar, I want you to put them in a bowl. But just for today, I want you to get some flowers and put them in your house, in your bathroom, in your kitchen somewhere you'll see them. And I want you every time you're looking at them to enjoy that God made us a beautiful world. And he meant and designed so many things of beauty just for us to enjoy. So just for today, we're gonna get some flowers from somewhere at some time, and we're gonna display them in our home as a reminder of the beauty that God wants us to enjoy every single day. That's what we're gonna do just for today, and I'll see you tomorrow.
