- 2:31Speaker 3: a review from our friend Caitlin, who slid into our
- 2:34Speaker 3: DMS to share this. See you ready, Hi, Victoria. I've
- 2:38Speaker 3: been wanting to leave you a five star review for
- 2:40Speaker 3: She's on the Money for so long, but I just
- 2:42Speaker 3: I never know where to do it. You are such
- 2:44Speaker 3: an inspiration as a twenty year old who is only
- 2:48Speaker 3: just starting their career, I can't help but hoping I'll
- 2:51Speaker 3: grow up to be just like you. Oh my god,
- 2:54Speaker 3: not to mention, I always look forward to Mondays, Wednesdays
- 2:57Speaker 3: and Fridays for every single new episode of your podcast.
- 3:00Speaker 3: I just wanted to say thank you. I've become so
- 3:02Speaker 3: much more motivated because of you.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Have a great day. Oh my god, is sweet? That
- 3:09Speaker 2: is the sweetest thing overheard. I just feel like, when
- 3:11Speaker 2: you grow up, you'll be better than me. I promise. Like,
- 3:14Speaker 2: how sweet is that?
- 3:16Speaker 1: So?
- 3:16Speaker 2: Sweet.
- 3:17Speaker 4: And actually, if someone said I want to grow up
- 3:19Speaker 4: for you, I would be like, hey, I just reminder
- 3:21Speaker 4: I'm not one hundred, you're twenty.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Everyone. Also, when you grow up? When do we meant
- 3:29Speaker 2: to grow up? Exactly? What does that even mean?
- 3:32Speaker 3: Like I already shook that I was allowed to take
- 3:36Speaker 3: not one, but two babies home from the hospital without licenses?
- 3:40Speaker 2: What do you mean? You were like, oh, you can
- 3:43Speaker 2: be discharged. Didn't check your ID.
- 3:45Speaker 3: No, they just said good luck. And I said it
- 3:48Speaker 3: was harder to get a driver's license. Honestly, it's an
- 3:52Speaker 3: incredible compliment, so sweet, so sweet? Do you mind if
- 3:56Speaker 3: we take a fun little detour. Yeah, it is time
- 3:59Speaker 3: for our question of the week, that moment during Friday
- 4:01Speaker 3: drinks where you can ask us anything about anything. And
- 4:04Speaker 3: this week's question came to us via our Instagram d
- 4:07Speaker 3: ms from Shari and she says, if you could pick
- 4:10Speaker 3: up a new skill in an instant, what would it be?
- 4:13Speaker 2: And why, Oh, that's a really good one. I would
- 4:18Speaker 2: love to become good at woodworking. Was not like whittling
- 4:23Speaker 2: little animals? But not whittling animals? Is That's what I
- 4:27Speaker 2: was thinking. That's the first place I don't know what
- 4:32Speaker 2: woodworking is, well, let me tell you I would like
- 4:34Speaker 2: to be you know how it's the very stereotypical like
- 4:39Speaker 2: dad husband thing, like I really like a table looks
- 4:42Speaker 2: like this and then bam, there's one there, so true,
- 4:45Speaker 2: my dad, you could borrow him. Yeah, I would love
- 4:47Speaker 2: to have the skills to do that myself. Like I
- 4:49Speaker 2: would love to be really handy with you, like I
- 4:53Speaker 2: love a little do I moment. I could do small things,
- 4:55Speaker 2: but like furniture feels a bit outside of my reach
- 4:59Speaker 2: building from Jessica currently, but I would love to be
- 5:02Speaker 2: able to do so so that all cast stuff pure,
- 5:07Speaker 2: so I don't have to pay for a mechanic because
- 5:10Speaker 2: I fear for my cast Sometimes I liked ab how
- 5:13Speaker 2: to fix.
- 5:13Speaker 4: It because I know carst stuff and my skill. I
- 5:16Speaker 4: want to learn sewing and you want to learn castuff.
- 5:19Speaker 4: What if we do we can do a trade is
- 5:21Speaker 4: what you always say about trading skill sets training.
- 5:23Speaker 2: Oh my god, your community lift everybody out. Absolutely well,
- 5:27Speaker 2: I'll teach you and you teach me. Okay, this sounds
- 5:29Speaker 2: very fun. I'm very excited.
- 5:30Speaker 3: We got down such a practical route and in my
- 5:33Speaker 3: head I was like, yeah, mind reading, that is a skill.
- 5:39Speaker 2: Wait, wait, so bear, what's yours? While I rejig what
- 5:43Speaker 2: I was thinking?
- 5:44Speaker 4: Mine is I am going to stick with sewing because
- 5:46Speaker 4: the world is your oyster. I want to like make doners,
- 5:49Speaker 4: I want to make handbags, I want to do all
- 5:52Speaker 4: these crazy things. Yes, and so we're going to do
- 5:55Speaker 4: a skill swap.
- 5:56Speaker 2: Yeah, you come to sewing class with me? Oh my god? Cute?
- 5:59Speaker 2: When is that Wednesday night?
- 6:00Speaker 4: Great?
- 6:01Speaker 2: I'll be there. You guys are so cute it kills me.
- 6:04Speaker 2: I've rejinked because apparently it's not a skill.
- 6:09Speaker 3: Two things I wish I was good at saying no,
- 6:12Speaker 3: and the second is if I could have like a
- 6:14Speaker 3: skill skill?
- 6:15Speaker 2: Is it a skill to sing? Yeah? I wish I
- 6:18Speaker 2: was like a phenomenal singer. Yeah, because at the moment
- 6:23Speaker 2: I put my babies to bed, I'm like Campbell, who's
- 6:26Speaker 2: like only three months old. If she doesn't care how
- 6:28Speaker 2: I sound, she's in my two year old have you
- 6:32Speaker 2: he goes, no, Mama, Please, I'm pretty sure I'm not
- 6:40Speaker 2: good at singing, but I'm tenacious, and so I think
- 6:44Speaker 2: my tenacity should be met with skill. Yeah. I agree.
- 6:47Speaker 2: I love that for you, and it's not right now.
- 6:49Speaker 2: So if I could be good at anything, imagine just
- 6:52Speaker 2: being able to be the girl at parties that can sing.
- 6:55Speaker 2: Got to not be afraid of a karaoke bar would
- 6:58Speaker 2: be a lovely thing. That's terrifying, Like the idea of
- 7:02Speaker 2: going to karaoke.
- 7:03Speaker 3: You know how people say, oh, yes, Saturday night, we
- 7:05Speaker 3: went out, we did this, we did that, and then
- 7:06Speaker 3: we ended up at karaoke.
- 7:07Speaker 2: I'm like, over my dead. I know I always confined
- 7:10Speaker 2: you feeling depressed, you wanted to hate yourself more. Yeah,
- 7:14Speaker 2: I'm like everyone really good at singing, and I just
- 7:16Speaker 2: like what becausess as people.
- 7:18Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean singing is enjoyable, Like get me in
- 7:20Speaker 3: my car on my own, or get me in the
- 7:23Speaker 3: car with Jess and the music so loud I don't
- 7:25Speaker 3: think she can hear me and we're all there, but karaoke,
- 7:29Speaker 3: what do you mean? And like this is coming from
- 7:31Speaker 3: someone who's regularly behind a microphone, what do you mean
- 7:33Speaker 3: you want to.
- 7:34Speaker 2: Sound bad in front of people? Are scary?
- 7:37Speaker 3: No thanks, anyway, I feel like that was a good one.
- 7:41Speaker 3: Mind reading is obviously something I would like to do
- 7:43Speaker 3: as well.
- 7:44Speaker 2: With a skull. Apparently that's spoke. We're going like crazy
- 7:47Speaker 2: very teleportation.
- 7:48Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, all right, so she's gonna teleport. I'm gonna
- 7:51Speaker 3: mind read what's your.
- 7:52Speaker 2: Well, I'm gonna sew, but I want to take it
- 7:54Speaker 2: back and play the piano. Yeah.
- 7:57Speaker 3: Really unrealistic from you back anyway, My friends, I'm telling you,
- 8:02Speaker 3: if you want your questions answered on the pod, you're
- 8:04Speaker 3: gonna have to send them in.
- 8:06Speaker 2: We love reading them and honestly, this makes our week
- 8:09Speaker 2: so fun, like recording Friday Drinks. It's my favorite. I
- 8:13Speaker 2: love it now I miss Jessica Ricci. Let's hear all
- 8:15Speaker 2: about this week's money wins from within the community. What
- 8:18Speaker 2: have you got from us? Firstly this week, I've got
- 8:20Speaker 2: one from Annabelle, who said she found an Anaconda full
- 8:23Speaker 2: length puffer at the opshop for four bucks sor real,
- 8:27Speaker 2: buddy weird, especially because it's so cold if you're in
- 8:29Speaker 2: Melbourne right now. She said she got it as a
- 8:30Speaker 2: gift for somebody who wanted it but couldn't justify the
- 8:33Speaker 2: usual price of three hundred and fifty dollars. Oh my god,
- 8:36Speaker 2: that's a great dollary douce. That is a very good
- 8:39Speaker 2: money in. Well done, annabel Next, I've want of money
- 8:42Speaker 2: in from Haley, who said I downloaded the two Good
- 8:44Speaker 2: to Go Australia up and my favorite food store is
- 8:47Speaker 2: on there. You get discounted sur prize food bags at
- 8:49Speaker 2: selected times, which will now be my go to for
- 8:52Speaker 2: treats for the kids, friends catch ups to save me
- 8:54Speaker 2: a bunch of money. Hell yeah, our team loves a
- 8:57Speaker 2: little too good to Go.
- 8:58Speaker 4: I do.
- 8:59Speaker 3: And do you know what started coming up on my Facebook?
- 9:02Speaker 3: Because obviously too Good to Go is a hot topic
- 9:04Speaker 3: in now even just work group chat. The Too good
- 9:07Speaker 3: to Go Facebook group where people are sharing what they got.
- 9:10Speaker 3: Oh cool, okay, so I love it because you obviously
- 9:13Speaker 3: get to see but I love the Karens on there
- 9:15Speaker 3: and they're like, I spent nine dollars and I got this, this,
- 9:18Speaker 3: this in this, and I read one the other day
- 9:20Speaker 3: and it was like I got this in this and
- 9:22Speaker 3: like it was a I thought, a good, whole, goodhule. Yeah,
- 9:25Speaker 3: for nine dollars, she got like a toasty a few muffins.
- 9:29Speaker 3: She apparently got egg bites, but before she took the photos,
- 9:32Speaker 3: she'd like eaten them, so she's also got egg bites,
- 9:35Speaker 3: but none of it's any good.
- 9:36Speaker 2: I'm thinking, oh yeah, headye I know there was such
- 9:40Speaker 2: a deal and she's like, oh, and I might add
- 9:42Speaker 2: that my toasty was untoasted. They're like, gott you know,
- 9:46Speaker 2: like a ham cheese toasty and I had the butter
- 9:47Speaker 2: on either sides. I'm thinking, just but that's fresh.
- 9:50Speaker 3: Yeah, Like that means you can toast it at home
- 9:52Speaker 3: and have the full toasty experience?
- 9:54Speaker 1: Is that like?
- 9:55Speaker 2: I don't want a cold, pre cooked toasty no anywhere?
- 9:59Speaker 5: Really?
- 10:00Speaker 2: You know what I would love to see on two
- 10:02Speaker 2: to go? And I check every now and again. I'll check,
- 10:03Speaker 2: but it's never there, like a doughnut king, Oh my god,
- 10:07Speaker 2: break or something? Yeah, like a little like sweet because
- 10:09Speaker 2: you're at the end of the day, there's always like
- 10:11Speaker 2: stuff lift over you. Where's that going? Christ my belly?
- 10:14Speaker 2: Chrism on true good to go? That would be the
- 10:18Speaker 2: dream that would be in this office. We love a
- 10:21Speaker 2: Chrispy Kream. Oh yeah, what else have you got? Jess?
- 10:24Speaker 2: All right? Next one is from Katie who said it
- 10:26Speaker 2: Telstra offered me thirty dollars off of my bill by
- 10:28Speaker 2: using my Telstra points. There's nothing in the points shop
- 10:31Speaker 2: that I wanted anyway, so it's a win win. Normally
- 10:33Speaker 2: i'd buy you know my smart watch or new headphones
- 10:36Speaker 2: every couple of years, but both of mine are still
- 10:38Speaker 2: going strong, so there was no need to save up
- 10:40Speaker 2: my points money. Weir so good. Then I've got one
- 10:43Speaker 2: from Catherine who said I just went to get a
- 10:45Speaker 2: coffee from Macus to find out I had enough points
- 10:47Speaker 2: in my my mac Is app to get it for free.
- 10:50Speaker 1: We do love that.
- 10:51Speaker 2: And then lastly I've got one from Sarah who said,
- 10:54Speaker 2: for the first time in ten years, I've managed to
- 10:57Speaker 2: get some savings behind me. And your expat visit commitments
- 11:00Speaker 2: and medical bills have decimated my finances for so long,
- 11:03Speaker 2: but thanks to the podcast and changing my mindset, I'm
- 11:06Speaker 2: finally turning things around and have saved nearly two thousand
- 11:09Speaker 2: dollars in six weeks. Stop it. That was like a
- 11:12Speaker 2: money win and a review all in one. Amazing how
- 11:16Speaker 2: double review Friday. Wow.
- 11:18Speaker 3: Yet, everybody, it's been a good week in the Facebook
- 11:20Speaker 3: credit it's a good week to have a good week.
- 11:22Speaker 3: Make sure that you are sharing your money wins with
- 11:24Speaker 3: us in the comments or on Facebook. Miss Beck Saed,
- 11:28Speaker 3: what does the community have to say about.
- 11:30Speaker 2: A broke tip?
- 11:32Speaker 6: So?
- 11:32Speaker 4: I know most people probably know this already, but Just
- 11:35Speaker 4: in case. Fatima sent me a screenshot letting me know
- 11:38Speaker 4: that the free Public Transport initiative across the entire state
- 11:41Speaker 4: of Victoria has been extended to the thirty first of
- 11:44Speaker 4: May six just in case, you know. I don't know
- 11:46Speaker 4: what the initial I should be giving up with that,
- 11:48Speaker 4: but maybe it's till the end of April. But now
- 11:50Speaker 4: it's until the end of May, which is.
- 11:52Speaker 2: Which is visible? Really sick? I mean, we've got a
- 11:54Speaker 2: few days left of May, so make the most of that.
- 11:56Speaker 4: Absolutely. This next one comes from Lara, who sent me
- 11:59Speaker 4: this real God. I love a broke tip reel, so
- 12:02Speaker 4: if you feel like you want to send me one, please,
- 12:04Speaker 4: I love them.
- 12:05Speaker 2: It's very funny. Maybe I wouldn't. Can you re enact it?
- 12:10Speaker 2: I don't want to hear the reel. I just want
- 12:11Speaker 2: you to do Yeah. I can do the movement.
- 12:14Speaker 4: Unfortunately it's one of those ones with text on screen.
- 12:19Speaker 4: But I can do what she's doing in the backgroun,
- 12:20Speaker 4: which is brushing her teeth.
- 12:23Speaker 3: B Roll videos always make me laugh because our team
- 12:26Speaker 3: are always like, ty, can you take more videos? Because
- 12:28Speaker 3: we want to make more videos, and I'm like, brushing
- 12:31Speaker 3: my teeth?
- 12:32Speaker 2: Is that content and its sure content. Guys, anything really
- 12:35Speaker 2: is this one's funny?
- 12:36Speaker 4: I don't condone it on the podcast and out loud
- 12:39Speaker 4: in my head, I'm like, this is great idea. It
- 12:41Speaker 4: says my best friend can't afford a dentist right now.
- 12:44Speaker 4: So she scrolled hinge until she matched with a dental
- 12:46Speaker 4: hygienist and asked him what toothpaste you is? He said,
- 12:50Speaker 4: anything with at least ten percent nano hydruxia petite.
- 12:54Speaker 2: I don't know what that is, but I'm slim girl,
- 12:58Speaker 2: slim toothpaste.
- 12:59Speaker 4: She didn't even go on the just screenshop the message
- 13:01Speaker 4: and unmatched that that's me all the day. And then
- 13:04Speaker 4: also date them because they're probably nice person. Then you
- 13:07Speaker 4: dating agist.
- 13:08Speaker 2: But I think that's just what you can do for
- 13:11Speaker 2: the patriarchy. I ask what the patriarchy can do for you?
- 13:14Speaker 2: That's exactly right. And if they're taking our jobs for
- 13:21Speaker 2: the men, no love the men and taking our jobs. No,
- 13:27Speaker 2: I love I love men and I love all of them.
- 13:29Speaker 2: You do not. No, I do I love men. No,
- 13:32Speaker 2: you don't. You won't even date one. I tried. I
- 13:36Speaker 2: did try. She's like, I tried, It's not to my taste.
- 13:40Speaker 2: What else have you got back?
- 13:41Speaker 4: So that's very depressing for the entire male population that
- 13:44Speaker 4: I am not dating you, and I'm so sorry you're
- 13:47Speaker 4: breaking hearts everywhere.
- 13:48Speaker 3: I did laugh because we got a review, a one
- 13:50Speaker 3: star review a little while ago, and it was like,
- 13:53Speaker 3: these girls don't like men, and I was like, that's
- 13:56Speaker 3: actually a five star review, Like, I don't know what
- 13:58Speaker 3: you're talking about. I'm married to I only like the
- 14:00Speaker 3: man I'm married to, the patriarchy can get.
- 14:03Speaker 2: In the bit, and Jess is dating a man Adam.
- 14:06Speaker 2: So that's the majority. Two out of three. Two out
- 14:08Speaker 2: of three ain't bad exactly. So we don't hate them
- 14:11Speaker 2: that much, we hit them that much. Does that make
- 14:14Speaker 2: us hypocrites? Oh god, I fear we don't have enough
- 14:17Speaker 2: time to unpack. No, that's true. Oh god, Okay, this
- 14:21Speaker 2: next one comes for myself. I saw this thing.
- 14:23Speaker 4: I didn't do the work in my head, but it
- 14:25Speaker 4: was this guy. His name's josh Ryn con double n incredible.
- 14:30Speaker 4: He has some great, you know, money saving tips and tricks.
- 14:32Speaker 4: But he's talking about how he pays mortgage fortnightly instead
- 14:38Speaker 4: of month. Please, because then you end up paying one
- 14:42Speaker 4: extra payment a year and don't ask.
- 14:45Speaker 2: Me how that works.
- 14:45Speaker 4: Somehow it works math in that therefore, you can shorten
- 14:49Speaker 4: your loan amount by like seven years or something crazy.
- 14:52Speaker 4: So if you pay fortnitly instead of monthly, it feels
- 14:54Speaker 4: the same, unless obviously you get paid monthly. But if
- 14:58Speaker 4: you get paid fortnitely, it feels I think, And then yeah,
- 15:02Speaker 4: you end up shortening the life of your.
- 15:03Speaker 2: Own isn't that crazy? Incredible? Isn't it lovable? I feel
- 15:06Speaker 2: like our community is very, very creative when it comes
- 15:09Speaker 2: to finances.
- 15:10Speaker 3: Yes, now, my friends, we're going to take a very
- 15:12Speaker 3: quick break, but please stay tuned because when we come back,
- 15:15Speaker 3: we're chatting about money dilemmas. And if you've ever put
- 15:17Speaker 3: off an appointment because of your financial situation, I think
- 15:20Speaker 3: you're going to want to tune in.
- 15:21Speaker 2: For this one. Welcome back, everybody. Let's take a listen
- 15:26Speaker 2: to this week's money dilemma.
- 15:29Speaker 1: Hi.
- 15:30Speaker 2: There, have you got a money dilemma you just can't solve?

- 15:48Speaker 2: Now, let's take a listen to this week's Money Dilemma.
- 15:53Speaker 1: Guys.
- 15:53Speaker 5: I have two questions today. I'm in my late twenties,
- 15:57Speaker 5: I currently have fifteen thousand dollars of debt. Now, I'm
- 16:01Speaker 5: just firstly wanting to know what insight, tips and vice
- 16:06Speaker 5: you would give for someone paying down one debt. I
- 16:09Speaker 5: know that there's a lot of resources out there for
- 16:12Speaker 5: snowball and avalanche method for multiple debts, but I just
- 16:17Speaker 5: feel like you don't get the same satisfaction of paying
- 16:21Speaker 5: that debt off compared to having multiple debts where you're
- 16:26Speaker 5: paying it off, you're feeling good and you feel like
- 16:29Speaker 5: you're getting in front. Watching the numbers go down has
- 16:32Speaker 5: been great. But yeah, just wondering as well, I am
- 16:37Speaker 5: potentially going to be more debt for health reasons, specifically
- 16:44Speaker 5: dental work, and just wondering what you guys think of
- 16:50Speaker 5: as I'm in two minds whether I should delay the
- 16:52Speaker 5: treatment until I paid off this initial debt or start
- 16:56Speaker 5: it now and live a bit tighter at the moment.
- 16:58Speaker 5: Thanks guys. I've been an avid listener of this podcast
- 17:02Speaker 5: for a while. Now and absolutely love the show. Thanks
- 17:05Speaker 5: so much, Thank you so much.
- 17:08Speaker 2: I love you too. What would you guys do well?
- 17:10Speaker 2: First of all, don't get me started on dental. It
- 17:13Speaker 2: should be not what are we like in my medicare
- 17:16Speaker 2: not cover dental. It's insane. It is part of the body.
- 17:19Speaker 2: It's insane, I'm saying, a common part of the body.
- 17:21Speaker 2: It's very important, cosmetic anything. But this is now the
- 17:25Speaker 2: podcast for another time. The oral health. Yeah, get into
- 17:27Speaker 2: the health of the rest of your damn body totally.
- 17:30Speaker 2: I cannot believe it just anyway, But that's another time.
- 17:33Speaker 4: So I would say, I mean I could be wrong here,
- 17:37Speaker 4: but maybe with this like fifteen thousand dollars debt, I
- 17:39Speaker 4: don't know what like the interest is on that, but
- 17:41Speaker 4: I would maybe see if you can.
- 17:44Speaker 2: Is it called refinancing.
- 17:45Speaker 4: Is that a thing where you can get find somewhere
- 17:47Speaker 4: to consolidate or yeah, I mean it's already consolidated, but
- 17:50Speaker 4: like find like a cheaper or a smaller or a
- 17:53Speaker 4: lower interest rate totally, and then it might feel like
- 17:55Speaker 4: you're getting on top of it quicker, and then it
- 17:57Speaker 4: might feel more satisfying.
- 17:59Speaker 2: You could turn it into a game. There are some
- 18:01Speaker 2: mental tips.
- 18:02Speaker 4: And tricks that you could use to make it feel
- 18:04Speaker 4: more satisfying, not just like you're throwing money away, because
- 18:08Speaker 4: it really can feel like that when you use money
- 18:10Speaker 4: to buy something, you don't have the money yet, and
- 18:12Speaker 4: then you've already got the thing, maybe you've already used it,
- 18:14Speaker 4: maybe you don't even have it anymore, and then you're
- 18:16Speaker 4: still paying the debt. You're like, oh, this feels like
- 18:18Speaker 4: such a waste and it really sucks.
- 18:21Speaker 2: So I guess yeah.
- 18:22Speaker 4: My only thing for that is try and find somewhere
- 18:25Speaker 4: that will offer a low interest rate and then make
- 18:27Speaker 4: it a game for yourself. As far as dental is concerned.
- 18:30Speaker 4: If it's essentral, I think do it. Or so you
- 18:32Speaker 4: can take money out of your superrief you need dental, right,
- 18:34Speaker 4: that's the thing anyway, potential compassionate something. Anyway, have a
- 18:38Speaker 4: look at your super and see if that's an option,
- 18:41Speaker 4: because you can take money out. It's not ideal, but
- 18:44Speaker 4: I'm shocked. I mean, don't get me started, but that's me.
- 18:46Speaker 4: I don't know if that's helpful at all.
- 18:48Speaker 2: I like the idea of making it a game. When
- 18:49Speaker 2: I was paying my debt down, I was looking at
- 18:51Speaker 2: it in the same way you would look at savings,
- 18:53Speaker 2: but reverse. So you know, when you go save things,
- 18:56Speaker 2: I really want to hit my first five hundred dollars. You're, oh,
- 18:58Speaker 2: I got I've hit five hundred dollars. I really want
- 18:59Speaker 2: to hit my next thousand dollars. Flip it around, and
- 19:02Speaker 2: so if your debt was fifteen thousand dollars ago, I
- 19:05Speaker 2: really want to get it down to fourteen thousand dollars,
- 19:07Speaker 2: and you hit fourteen thousands, go oh my god, I
- 19:09Speaker 2: can't wait to hit twelve and a half thousand dollars,
- 19:11Speaker 2: and you kind of hit your milestones in reverse. You
- 19:14Speaker 2: can make yourself a handed dandy little chart. You can
- 19:17Speaker 2: tick things off or color it in, or have the
- 19:20Speaker 2: amounts that you want to save. If you want to
- 19:22Speaker 2: do an envelope system like there are lots of ways
- 19:24Speaker 2: that you can make that like fun and gamified like
- 19:27Speaker 2: what you were talking about, but you think look at
- 19:29Speaker 2: as milestones within that big debt rather than being like,
- 19:33Speaker 2: my goal is to pay off debt. Have a physical
- 19:36Speaker 2: number you're working towards, because I think having a physical
- 19:39Speaker 2: number for a goal gives you that sense of satisfaction,
- 19:42Speaker 2: makes it feel achievable. Hopefully give you that little dopamine
- 19:45Speaker 2: hit that you're looking for. For the dental I would
- 19:48Speaker 2: say it's going to depend on how urgent it is. Obviously,
- 19:51Speaker 2: your mouth is very important. You need your teeth to
- 19:54Speaker 2: eat and all those kinds of things, and it can
- 19:56Speaker 2: be very painful if things aren't sorted. So if it's
- 19:59Speaker 2: something it's urgent, take care of it, because there's also
- 20:01Speaker 2: the potential for it to worsen and then it's really
- 20:04Speaker 2: really really expended. Correct. Chat to your dentist as well.
- 20:07Speaker 2: A lot of dentists offer payment plan options or installments
- 20:10Speaker 2: or different things like that to see if there's anything
- 20:13Speaker 2: that they might be able to help you out with. Otherwise,
- 20:16Speaker 2: if it's something you can sit on, if it's not
- 20:18Speaker 2: urgent and not causing you distress, it's going to depend
- 20:21Speaker 2: on how long it's going to take you to pay
- 20:22Speaker 2: off the debt. Honestly, fifteen thousand dollars is a significant
- 20:24Speaker 2: some So if you say that's going to take me
- 20:26Speaker 2: five or six years, that's probably arguably too long to
- 20:30Speaker 2: push it in to work out, I would guess, so
- 20:32Speaker 2: see what you can do. Can you consolidate it in
- 20:34Speaker 2: payment plan would be my first preference because I agreed,
- 20:37Speaker 2: You're not taking on additional debt so to speak, with interest,
- 20:41Speaker 2: and you can pay it back slowly and if that
- 20:43Speaker 2: means your bigger debt takes a bit longer. You know,
- 20:46Speaker 2: your health is very valuable and important, and I would
- 20:49Speaker 2: view it kind of as preventative to stop it from
- 20:51Speaker 2: getting worse. But it's going to all depend on what
- 20:53Speaker 2: it is that you need. Yeah, I don't know, Maybe
- 20:55Speaker 2: I've got a left field. Oh I love those. I
- 20:58Speaker 2: don't think it's that left field.
- 21:00Speaker 3: But I don't think you should be putting off health
- 21:02Speaker 3: appointments because you've got debt. Just because you've got debt
- 21:05Speaker 3: doesn't mean that you shouldn't be looking after yourself. Yeah, like,
- 21:08Speaker 3: and yes, debt is important to reduce and get rid of.
- 21:12Speaker 3: But ultimately, if I sat down with your financial situation,
- 21:15Speaker 3: I'd much prefer you to be in debt for a
- 21:17Speaker 3: little bit longer and you to be fit and healthy
- 21:19Speaker 3: and happy and comfortable than you to be out of
- 21:23Speaker 3: debt sooner and then you've got crappy teeth. Like I
- 21:25Speaker 3: just there needs to be some type of balance, and
- 21:28Speaker 3: I think that there's a lot of financial content creators
- 21:30Speaker 3: out there that are like no you can't do this
- 21:33Speaker 3: until you're out of debt. Like what's his name, Dave
- 21:36Speaker 3: Ramsey is so good at saying you cannot eat inside
- 21:39Speaker 3: a restaurant until you have absolutely no debt. And I'm like,
- 21:43Speaker 3: life's about the journey, sir, Like, don't get me wrong,
- 21:46Speaker 3: We're not going out every weekend and throwing our money
- 21:49Speaker 3: up against a wall instead of paying our debt off.
- 21:51Speaker 3: But like, you deserve to have nice things, yeah, regardless
- 21:55Speaker 3: of your financial circumstances. Like if you were saying, Victoria,
- 21:59Speaker 3: like I buy you know, this really fancy outfit, or
- 22:02Speaker 3: should I go on a holiday I'm not out of
- 22:04Speaker 3: debt yet, I'd be like, probably not, because that's discretionary spending.
- 22:08Speaker 3: That's stuff you don't need to spend in there, nice
- 22:10Speaker 3: to haves, not need to have. So whereas I'd say
- 22:13Speaker 3: dentals a need to have. Yeah, then when it comes
- 22:16Speaker 3: to paying off your existing debt, I need my stuff
- 22:19Speaker 3: gammafied as well. And I'm gonna throw our graphic designer
- 22:22Speaker 3: under the bus right now, because we have those beautiful
- 22:25Speaker 3: savings charts on our website that are free to download,
- 22:28Speaker 3: and you can like, say five hundred dollars or one
- 22:30Speaker 3: thousand dollars, and lots of people in our community like
- 22:32Speaker 3: printing them off and putting them on the fridge or
- 22:34Speaker 3: on their desk or whatever. Maybe we can just gammify
- 22:37Speaker 3: that and be like, if you've got one thousand dollars
- 22:39Speaker 3: worth of debt, here's how you're gonna pay it off,
- 22:41Speaker 3: and you can gammify it that way. So I'm just
- 22:42Speaker 3: gonna go to rebrand those so we've got savings and
- 22:45Speaker 3: also debt reduction because it's impressive. The other thing that
- 22:49Speaker 3: I found really motivating when I was paying off debt
- 22:53Speaker 3: wasn't necessarily I feel like lots of people do it
- 22:56Speaker 3: in like bundles, so like one thousand dollars yay. For me,
- 22:59Speaker 3: it was like that because I'd be like, cool, I've
- 23:02Speaker 3: got forty thousand dollars to pay. So it was like
- 23:05Speaker 3: different milestones that in my head felt significant. So like
- 23:09Speaker 3: for me, it was like those five thousand dollar marks.
- 23:12Speaker 3: When I went from having thirty five thousand to thirty
- 23:14Speaker 3: thousand dollars, I was like when that like front number changes,
- 23:17Speaker 3: and then when it got closer to like that fifteen
- 23:19Speaker 3: thousand dollar mark, I was like, oh my goodness, like
- 23:22Speaker 3: can't wait until I get it down to four figures
- 23:24Speaker 3: of debt, and then I knew I was like waiting
- 23:26Speaker 3: for three figures of debt.
- 23:27Speaker 2: So those types of changes, like maybe have.
- 23:30Speaker 3: A think and sit down and be like, what would
- 23:32Speaker 3: I find interesting that Maybe the thousand dollar bundles works
- 23:36Speaker 3: for you, But for me, I was like, I want
- 23:39Speaker 3: to see like change, not just like a number, but
- 23:41Speaker 3: like it needs to feel different. So that worked really
- 23:44Speaker 3: well for me. But yeah, I would gammify it for
- 23:47Speaker 3: yourself and work in smaller amounts that maybe you get
- 23:50Speaker 3: a sweet treat when you finished your first thousand dollars
- 23:53Speaker 3: or maybe you're like, no, no, no, I'm gonna put
- 23:55Speaker 3: off catching up for brunch with the girls until I've
- 23:57Speaker 3: done this, and then that can be like a celebration.
- 23:59Speaker 3: We don't have to not spend money, we just have
- 24:02Speaker 3: to be more conscious.
- 24:03Speaker 2: Yeah, that's where I'm at. So are you guys ready
- 24:06Speaker 2: for our DM of the week, which is arguably a
- 24:07Speaker 2: bit more spicy? Alright?
- 24:10Speaker 3: I feel like it's week's DM is a little bit
- 24:12Speaker 3: like double barreled, and it's all about diversification and not
- 24:16Speaker 3: just across your portfolios, but specifically ETFs Hi, She's on
- 24:20Speaker 3: the money. I have a proper money dilemma. I'm a
- 24:23Speaker 3: longtime listener of the pod and have been investing on
- 24:26Speaker 3: Chase's for about three years now, and I have about
- 24:29Speaker 3: three thousand dollars invested. I've been playing around a little,
- 24:32Speaker 3: but I'm trying to establish my long term strategy. I've
- 24:35Speaker 3: come across BDHG and DHHF. I'm wondering is picking one
- 24:40Speaker 3: of these enough as a complete diversified portfolio. I'm aware
- 24:44Speaker 3: that they are both very diversified and paid divicent dividends.
- 24:48Speaker 3: I've heard ved had one of her ETF's clothes. Would
- 24:52Speaker 3: that happen to either of these? What would happen if
- 24:55Speaker 3: I had a couple of one hundred thousand invested and
- 24:57Speaker 3: then the ETF closed.
- 24:59Speaker 2: Love some advice, thank you so much.
- 25:01Speaker 4: So I guess first point of call is to make
- 25:04Speaker 4: sure that there's no crossover, or like, if there is
- 25:06Speaker 4: an it's not like a huge crossover. It's like, you know,
- 25:09Speaker 4: I could either do one or the other. I think
- 25:14Speaker 4: that is a popular enough yeah that I would be like,
- 25:18Speaker 4: oh yeah, chuckle my money that. But I also feel
- 25:20Speaker 4: I would feel more comfortable having it spread out, you know,
- 25:22Speaker 4: across thirty four possible ets just kidding a few just
- 25:27Speaker 4: to be safe. I don't know what the closing situation
- 25:29Speaker 4: is though.
- 25:29Speaker 2: Well, what closed for me was not an ETF. It
- 25:33Speaker 2: was a managed fund.
- 25:34Speaker 3: Which was it had higher costs associated with it. But
- 25:38Speaker 3: they're more I guess private. So it's obviously publicly listed,
- 25:41Speaker 3: but they're more private and they can shut them down.
- 25:44Speaker 3: I really feel like ETFs don't shut down very often
- 25:48Speaker 3: because they are tracking an index rather than being managed
- 25:51Speaker 3: by an individual who's trying to perform in a certain market.
- 25:56Speaker 3: So for me, the managed fund that shut down was
- 25:59Speaker 3: called the Asian All Stars Fund, and I really liked
- 26:02Speaker 3: it because I had all of these Asian law they
- 26:04Speaker 3: called all Stars, and I thought it was really fun.
- 26:07Speaker 3: But then what the conclusion was with the fund manager
- 26:11Speaker 3: was they weren't outperforming the market. It was actually better
- 26:14Speaker 3: for investors to have an ETF or something that tracked
- 26:17Speaker 3: that market. They weren't actually accurately picking all Stars, and
- 26:21Speaker 3: they were like, well, we don't want to waste people's
- 26:23Speaker 3: money or our time on this anymore. So what happened
- 26:26Speaker 3: was they sold it down. The implication of that was
- 26:29Speaker 3: I did have to pay capital gains tax at that
- 26:32Speaker 3: point because I had made money on that fund. But
- 26:35Speaker 3: then I used that cash and I reinvested it back
- 26:38Speaker 3: into my broader portfolio and picked other things. So when
- 26:41Speaker 3: it sells down, you're not going to lose money. It
- 26:43Speaker 3: will realize some tax, so like I had to pay
- 26:47Speaker 3: some capital gains tax because like I made money. But
- 26:50Speaker 3: also if an ETF shuts down, or if any type
- 26:53Speaker 3: of managed portfolio shuts down, and the reason for it
- 26:57Speaker 3: is that it's not performing, I would argue that you
- 27:00Speaker 3: probably don't have a lot of profit to be taxed
- 27:03Speaker 3: on anyway. So what would happen is it shuts down.
- 27:06Speaker 3: It's basically sells down your portfolio, and you'd have that
- 27:08Speaker 3: money back in your account, so you're not missing anything.
- 27:11Speaker 2: You just have to redistribute it. And this is just
- 27:13Speaker 2: part of parcel of making sure that you pick something
- 27:17Speaker 2: that arguably is going to have longevity in the market.
- 27:19Speaker 2: Whereas when I purchased the Asian All Stars Fund, they'd
- 27:23Speaker 2: shut down portfolios before, Like I wasn't surprised, if that
- 27:27Speaker 2: makes sense.
- 27:28Speaker 4: So you shut it down after it gets to a
- 27:31Speaker 4: point where it's like almost like you get no money
- 27:32Speaker 4: back at all, or you can see it kind of
- 27:34Speaker 4: no I.
- 27:34Speaker 2: Had a profit. They just decided that it wasn't worth
- 27:37Speaker 2: continuing managing that fund, and they wanted to probably put
- 27:41Speaker 2: that fund manager on a different job or something, okay,
- 27:43Speaker 2: And it would depend on the individual investor, like when
- 27:45Speaker 2: you've invested how the market had gone, Like there's not
- 27:47Speaker 2: really a hard and fast rule for if someone had
- 27:50Speaker 2: tipped everything in yesterday versus if someone had bought a
- 27:52Speaker 2: heap ten years ago. It's so reliant on the individual's
- 27:56Speaker 2: like investment journey within that fund or whatever. They wouldn't
- 28:00Speaker 2: be a rule. I wouldn't think. I would argue that
- 28:04Speaker 2: you'd be hard pressed to find a financial advisor who
- 28:06Speaker 2: would tell you that a singular ETF is enough diversification,
- 28:10Speaker 2: even if it is a ETF that is specifically aimed
- 28:14Speaker 2: at being diversified. Probably firstly for that exact example, like
- 28:17Speaker 2: if it was to close down, you're kind of up
- 28:21Speaker 2: against a wall, right, Like you don't have a choice.
- 28:23Speaker 2: That's your whole portfolio that then would need to be redistributed. Also,
- 28:28Speaker 2: there are just so many things in the world to
- 28:31Speaker 2: invest in, do I mean, there are so many markets,
- 28:33Speaker 2: there are so many industries for ETF to be as
- 28:37Speaker 2: diversified as you would want a whole portfolio to be.
- 28:40Speaker 2: I just don't know that it would be possible to
- 28:44Speaker 2: have something that's everything to everyone, because again, it's like
- 28:46Speaker 2: so dependent on your personal risk profile, it's so dependent
- 28:49Speaker 2: on your personal moral compass. Like one of my favorite
- 28:53Speaker 2: sayings is nothing can be everything to everyone. No one
- 28:55Speaker 2: could be everything to everyone. I think that is true
- 28:57Speaker 2: for investments as well. You have to have I think
- 29:02Speaker 2: at least a couple of different ETFs to cover all
- 29:04Speaker 2: of your markets, all of your preferences, all of your industries.
- 29:09Speaker 2: Having one just feels very risky to me, And I
- 29:12Speaker 2: just don't think that that's a recommendation that anybody would
- 29:14Speaker 2: make if I'm honest. And often you'll see financial advisors
- 29:19Speaker 2: recommending something like DHHF and then a more international option.
- 29:25Speaker 2: So to compare both, because I think you're saying like
- 29:29Speaker 2: they really overlap, and they do, so, Vanguard Diversified High
- 29:33Speaker 2: Growth Fund is not necessarily an ETF, but it holds ETFs,
- 29:38Speaker 2: so it actually holds three different ETFs, whereas the DHHF
- 29:42Speaker 2: is just an ETF. So to get a little bit
- 29:45Speaker 2: complex for a hot second, DHHF holds the top two
- 29:50Speaker 2: hundred and then some global shares and then some emergent markets,
- 29:53Speaker 2: which is, you know, just like a.
- 29:55Speaker 3: Nice little mix. Whereas the Vanguard option VDHG holds Australian shares,
- 30:01Speaker 3: global shares, also emerging markets, but it holds three different ETFs,
- 30:05Speaker 3: and I find that interesting. But it's kind of like
- 30:09Speaker 3: when you start to look at the individual holding. So
- 30:12Speaker 3: instead of going, oh, well, it has different ETFs in it,
- 30:15Speaker 3: let's just look at the companies that holds. Both of
- 30:18Speaker 3: them hold Australian shares, So like banks, BHPCSL, they both
- 30:23Speaker 3: hold internationally developing markets, they both hold emerging markets. So
- 30:27Speaker 3: when we talk about just disclaimer again, when we talk
- 30:30Speaker 3: about international developed markets, we're talking about America, we're talking
- 30:35Speaker 3: about Europe. When I'm talking about an emerging market, it
- 30:40Speaker 3: doesn't align perfectly. But when I talk about an emerging market,
- 30:43Speaker 3: you can often think more Third world developing countries, and
- 30:48Speaker 3: like that helps me delineate. It doesn't mean that it's accurate,
- 30:51Speaker 3: but it helps me go okay, cool, Like there's like
- 30:53Speaker 3: a little bit of a hierarchy per se of like
- 30:56Speaker 3: obviously internationally developed markets have really clean systems and stuff
- 31:00Speaker 3: in place, whereas places like China and India and Southern
- 31:05Speaker 3: Asia are developing markets to get even more like technical.
- 31:09Speaker 3: That's where you see like a lot of tech development
- 31:11Speaker 3: and stuff, Whereas you don't see that as often in
- 31:14Speaker 3: like a Europe because they're regulated differently. But you're going
- 31:18Speaker 3: to see in both of those some very similar players.
- 31:22Speaker 3: So in emerging markets, in international markets, and in Australia
- 31:26Speaker 3: you've got you know, Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Tesla and
- 31:29Speaker 3: they all hold those and then they all hold the
- 31:32Speaker 3: Australian top two hundred. So it's kind of like going
- 31:34Speaker 3: to and I always use the supermarket analogy, but let
- 31:37Speaker 3: me like try a different analogy this time. It's like
- 31:40Speaker 3: going to two different bars and ordering a margarita. Like
- 31:44Speaker 3: you're gonna get a margarita. There's gonna be lime, there's
- 31:46Speaker 3: gonna be together, there's gonna be salt. Might be different amounts,
- 31:51Speaker 3: maybe same price, maybe a dollar different. Maybe that marks
- 31:54Speaker 3: fifteen dollars and the other one sixteen dollars, but you're
- 31:57Speaker 3: still getting a margarita. So do you want two much
- 32:00Speaker 3: in your portfolio? Or do you want like a bloody
- 32:02Speaker 3: Mary and a margarita? You know, like, how are we
- 32:05Speaker 3: stocking our bar or our portfolio? Would you just get margaritas?
- 32:10Speaker 3: Probably not, because like I don't want a bar where
- 32:13Speaker 3: you walk in and I go, what do you drink?
- 32:15Speaker 2: Can you go not to killer? And I go, I'm
- 32:17Speaker 2: all out of options? So we want options and we
- 32:21Speaker 2: want diversity because when our friends come to the bar,
- 32:23Speaker 2: they want something different. Yeah that makes sense, love it? Yeah? Anyway,
- 32:28Speaker 2: would you like to know what our community thought? Yes?
- 32:30Speaker 3: Yes, So we asked the community about this, and they said,
- 32:33Speaker 3: do you think holding just one ETF like VDHG or
- 32:36Speaker 3: DHHF is enough for a long term strategy? Forty two
- 32:40Speaker 3: percent of you said yes, and fifty eight percent.
- 32:42Speaker 2: Of you said no. Okays about that, more of you
- 32:45Speaker 2: need to do my investing masterclass.
- 32:47Speaker 3: Next question we asked was for those using platforms like Chase's,
- 32:51Speaker 3: has your strategy changed over time? And I'm so excited
- 32:55Speaker 3: we asked this question. Sixty percent of you said, yes,
- 32:57Speaker 3: my strategy has changed over time, and I just can
- 33:01Speaker 3: we like reiterate that that happens for most people. Like
- 33:05Speaker 3: you download your investing platform, you start investing, you learn more,
- 33:09Speaker 3: you become educated, you get really clear on your goals,
- 33:11Speaker 3: and then you change and that's fine, whereas I think
- 33:14Speaker 3: so many of us are like, I don't know what
- 33:16Speaker 3: my strategy would be.
- 33:17Speaker 2: I'm not downloading the A up, I'm not starting. We're
- 33:20Speaker 2: pivoting queens. We can change.
- 33:22Speaker 3: Absolutely, And then we asked do you think simplicity over
- 33:27Speaker 3: optimization when it comes to investing? Seventy seven percent of
- 33:31Speaker 3: you said simplicity all the way, and twenty three percent
- 33:34Speaker 3: of you said optimization.
- 33:36Speaker 2: For me, okay, there's like a middle point where it's
- 33:39Speaker 2: like you want things to be simple, but also you
- 33:42Speaker 2: want things to be optimized as well, Like there's too
- 33:45Speaker 2: simple almost. I also think we get too down in
- 33:49Speaker 2: the trenches of optimization and we go, well, what's that
- 33:53Speaker 2: costing us? Usually time? But also like what's the difference
- 33:58Speaker 2: in performance?
- 33:59Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 33:59Speaker 2: Also how much time and energy do I want to
- 34:01Speaker 2: put in for this? Like do I want a standard
- 34:03Speaker 2: ten percent return? Or am I going to work tooth
- 34:07Speaker 2: and nail forever and be so in the trenches for
- 34:10Speaker 2: ten and a half? Like what's and that's not even
- 34:14Speaker 2: a guaranteed ten and a half?
- 34:15Speaker 1: You know.
- 34:16Speaker 3: So then we asked the community and we said, what
- 34:18Speaker 3: is your two cents? Some of you were really complimentary
- 34:22Speaker 3: and you were all like, like, literally, look at these messages.
- 34:25Speaker 2: I started using Chasis because if she's on the money,
- 34:28Speaker 2: so cute, tell me your thoughts.
- 34:30Speaker 3: So many people were like, go see an advisor if
- 34:33Speaker 3: you're trying to invest more than a couple of grand.
- 34:35Speaker 3: And I thought that this was important because I feel
- 34:37Speaker 3: like this is still a conversation that we are having.
- 34:40Speaker 3: But I think you're more than equipped if you're investing
- 34:43Speaker 3: that amount of money, yeah, to make decisions on your own.
- 34:47Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 34:48Speaker 2: I just feel like there's so many resources out there
- 34:50Speaker 2: nowadays and financial advice. I'm not saying don't go get
- 34:53Speaker 2: it if you had a couple of hundred grand, or
- 34:55Speaker 2: you had like a complex situation, or you're like Victoria,
- 34:57Speaker 2: my partner and I want to do some financial plan
- 35:00Speaker 2: because we earned two hundred grand together. I'd be like, yeah,
- 35:03Speaker 2: that's good reason, but not just because you want two
- 35:06Speaker 2: thousand dollars invested. Yeah, personal, I mean it would eat
- 35:10Speaker 2: up all the money you were going to invest. Right.
- 35:13Speaker 3: Next person said, I've had a lot of overlap, so
- 35:15Speaker 3: now I just focus on the market of the ETF,
- 35:18Speaker 3: not necessarily what's popular. Another person said simple is fabulous,
- 35:22Speaker 3: but you don't want to be putting all your eggs
- 35:23Speaker 3: in one.
- 35:24Speaker 2: Basket, to say.
- 35:26Speaker 3: Someone else said, those two are pretty similar. I've done
- 35:29Speaker 3: some research and I still haven't decided on one, but
- 35:31Speaker 3: they're on my list. Another person said high growth diversification
- 35:36Speaker 3: for core. Anything else is exploration and learning for me,
- 35:39Speaker 3: as it's really early days. Another person said, it is
- 35:42Speaker 3: so easy to get overwhelmed by the noise, but diversification
- 35:46Speaker 3: can just be so easy by using two different ETFs
- 35:49Speaker 3: in different markets, which is true because you've just got
- 35:52Speaker 3: two ETFs that arguably are holding the same market. Yeah,
- 35:55Speaker 3: so maybe you just need to look outside what that
- 35:57Speaker 3: looks like totally. And sometimes you don't even need to
- 36:00Speaker 3: look outside of the company, Like you could have two
- 36:03Speaker 3: Vanguard ETFs and they'd be fine, two Beata Shares ETFs
- 36:06Speaker 3: and they'd be fine, but not overlapping. Someone else said,
- 36:10Speaker 3: check out your fees for diversity in those platforms.
- 36:13Speaker 2: Is it actually worth it?
- 36:15Speaker 3: Another person said what happens if you sell down if
- 36:17Speaker 3: you've made a profit, Maybe you don't want to so
- 36:19Speaker 3: you don't have to pay CGT, which I thought was
- 36:22Speaker 3: really smart as well, Like sometimes we buy things we
- 36:25Speaker 3: liked it and we're like, oh, that's really similar to
- 36:27Speaker 3: this other thing. I probably should get rid of it.
- 36:29Speaker 3: But like personally, I'm like, maybe I'll just leave it
- 36:33Speaker 3: there and I won't invest more, and then one day
- 36:35Speaker 3: if it's not performing well, I'll sell it and roll
- 36:37Speaker 3: it into something else. But yeah, it doesn't mean that
- 36:40Speaker 3: it's bad teaking along totally. Someone else said I really
- 36:43Speaker 3: wish I had been a little bit simpler and gone
- 36:45Speaker 3: with three ETFs instead of my thirteen, and someone else
- 36:49Speaker 3: said VDHD all the way, it's my favorite.
- 36:52Speaker 2: I kind of love it, so there you go. And
- 36:55Speaker 2: other people were just like, can't wait to hear answers
- 36:57Speaker 2: on this, so you're welcome anyway. That brings us to
- 37:01Speaker 2: the end of the show, My friends, lovely listeners. As always,
- 37:04Speaker 2: that is all we have time.
- 37:05Speaker 3: For today, and as always, as always, as always, thank
- 37:09Speaker 3: you for being part of our community. Whether you're listening
- 37:12Speaker 3: on your walk, or you're in your car, or you're
