Standing next to a banana tree on the island of Maui with my mom was one of the first pictures I stumbled upon in my camera roll.
You know those evenings when you’re not really interested in binge-watching anything, but you’re not quite ready to fall asleep? That’s when I tend to take a stroll down memory lane. Truthfully, my strolls have become more intentional since I began an all-out effort to recover and heal from experiences that took me far longer to work through than I ever imagined.
