- 0:05Speaker 1: Apologie Production.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Welcome to She Rises, Freaky Friday, Go Secrets, horror, scandal.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Hysterios, wild, Oh my gosh, I'm so excited. This is
- 0:21Speaker 1: so fun our first Freaky Friday episode. If you guys
- 0:25Speaker 1: missed our intro video, we kind of briefly explained what
- 0:29Speaker 1: Freaky Friday is going to be about, but basically, it's
- 0:31Speaker 1: where you guys write to us anonymously, like we cannot
- 0:34Speaker 1: see who has written to us, and we want to
- 0:36Speaker 1: hear your deepest, darkest secrets, your horror stories, your ghost stories,
- 0:40Speaker 1: your sexual encounters, the things that you would not tell
- 0:44Speaker 1: your parents, you haven't told your best friends, and you
- 0:46Speaker 1: want to take down to the grave. We want spicy, saucy, controversial,
- 0:51Speaker 1: taboo topics. We're going to talk about it, read out
- 0:54Speaker 1: your stories, and then give our personal opinions or experiences,
- 0:58Speaker 1: and it's going to be so much fun.
- 0:59Speaker 2: This is the kind of conversations that are eighteen plus.
- 1:02Speaker 2: It doesn't have to necessarily be that categor but like,
- 1:05Speaker 2: we want you to be in this space and to
- 1:07Speaker 2: know that you can bring in anything, anything that you
- 1:09Speaker 2: feel shameful of, anything that you feel like you might
- 1:12Speaker 2: potentially judge yourself for this is a space where we're
- 1:14Speaker 2: gonna have conversations where there is absolutely no judgment whatsoever.
- 1:18Speaker 2: And it was going to be hosted by none other
- 1:20Speaker 2: than Stephanie and Tatiana. Satiana back to the show, thanks
- 1:25Speaker 2: for having me.
- 1:27Speaker 1: We're so excited and like, this isn't your standard self
- 1:30Speaker 1: development empowering episode. Like, honestly, some of these episodes we
- 1:34Speaker 1: might just be having a good old gas bag about
- 1:36Speaker 1: it and just be like, oh my gosh, I can't
- 1:38Speaker 1: believe that happened. What would you do in that situation?
- 1:41Speaker 1: So it's just a lot of fun because we aren't
- 1:43Speaker 1: just the self development girls. We aren't just mums or
- 1:47Speaker 1: partners or sisters. We're multifaceted and we love to talk
- 1:50Speaker 1: about all things juicy and spicy and saucy in fun. Yeah.
- 1:54Speaker 1: So today's one is an actual horror ghost story. So
- 1:58Speaker 1: I'm going to read out whoever it is that wrote
- 2:00Speaker 1: this in and then we're going to talk about it.
- 2:02Speaker 2: Are you ready, let's do it, Judge.
- 2:06Speaker 1: Okay, we had a really bad ghost in my house
- 2:09Speaker 1: when my son was really little. It was so evil
- 2:13Speaker 1: and it hated my daughter but loved my son. It
- 2:16Speaker 1: attached itself to him. He was two and a half
- 2:19Speaker 1: when it started, and it lasted for about a year.
- 2:22Speaker 1: I would see his eyes glaze over completely, like I
- 2:25Speaker 1: wasn't even looking at him. He would full on punch
- 2:28Speaker 1: me and go to his room, and I heard him
- 2:30Speaker 1: talking in his room to himself, but he would say
- 2:32Speaker 1: things like I got her, yeah, okay, I'll go and
- 2:35Speaker 1: get her now, and then he would come out and
- 2:37Speaker 1: full on punch his sister, who was only six months old.
- 2:43Speaker 1: I heard him one afternoon when I was putting my
- 2:45Speaker 1: daughter to bed and my husband was out getting dinner.
- 2:47Speaker 1: There was a rattle in the kitchen and I came
- 2:49Speaker 1: out and he had a chair up in the kitchen
- 2:51Speaker 1: grabbing a knife. His reply was, I'm just opening the door, mum. Anyways,
- 2:56Speaker 1: it took about a year to get rid of the thing.
- 2:58Speaker 1: He named him and everything. It was so terrifying. I
- 3:03Speaker 1: was literally so scared of my toddler, and I feel
- 3:05Speaker 1: like his childhood was ripped away from us both. When
- 3:09Speaker 1: we got rid of this evil spirit, it was like
- 3:11Speaker 1: I got my little boy back. He was so calm
- 3:13Speaker 1: and caring again. Oh my god, can you imagine that
- 3:18Speaker 1: is freaky, that's terrifying. I had a situation like this
- 3:22Speaker 1: With Taj, I think he must have been about two
- 3:24Speaker 1: and a half, probably actually more three, because he could talk,
- 3:27Speaker 1: but he had the lady in his cot, and I
- 3:29Speaker 1: used to put him on Snapchat and ask him questions
- 3:31Speaker 1: and he could give me details about this lady in
- 3:33Speaker 1: his cot. But she was never harmful, never mean, although
- 3:38Speaker 1: actually when I ask him now, he says she was
- 3:41Speaker 1: really mean to me stop. But back then he wouldn't
- 3:43Speaker 1: describe her as mean. She was just there. And there
- 3:47Speaker 1: was times where I would look on the camera and
- 3:48Speaker 1: I could see him talking, but I couldn't see anything
- 3:51Speaker 1: on camera.
- 3:52Speaker 2: But there was.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Also times on his little monitor where I would see
- 3:55Speaker 1: little orbit lights in his room and it was just creepy.
- 3:59Speaker 1: And I got one of my girlfriend Nats to come
- 4:01Speaker 1: around and like sage the house and like try and
- 4:04Speaker 1: clear the spirit whatever. But she hung around until he
- 4:06Speaker 1: moved houses and then he never spoke of her again.
- 4:09Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 4:10Speaker 1: Yeah, it was really creepy. And I think kids are
- 4:12Speaker 1: very open to spirits, Like I fully believe him and
- 4:15Speaker 1: what they see, and I don't think they're just making
- 4:17Speaker 1: it up. But it was really creepy. But he wasn't
- 4:20Speaker 1: ever hurt. So I was like, you know, if he
- 4:22Speaker 1: was getting hurt or acting out like this, I'd be
- 4:25Speaker 1: pretty tempted to move houses. If Taj was hurting his
- 4:28Speaker 1: baby sister like that, Oh my gosh, I'd be so terrified.
- 4:32Speaker 2: Oh my god, did it make you nervous knowing? Like
- 4:34Speaker 2: how did you respond? Knowing that it was actually mean
- 4:37Speaker 2: to him?
- 4:38Speaker 1: Now I'm like, oh gosh, I feel bad. But I
- 4:41Speaker 1: don't know if he's like you know, when you get older,
- 4:43Speaker 1: as he kind of extending the story or elaborating on it. Yeah,
- 4:47Speaker 1: and when I say, mean, what do you mean? And
- 4:49Speaker 1: he can't really give me a clear explanation, So I
- 4:51Speaker 1: don't think he ever hurt him. And I wonder if
- 4:54Speaker 1: he plays on the story a little bit now. But
- 4:56Speaker 1: back then he didn't say that she was hurting him
- 4:58Speaker 1: or anything. But it's just really interesting.
- 5:01Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, but this one's hectic, so terrifying, Like
- 5:05Speaker 2: knowing that like your son was like having conversations with
- 5:09Speaker 2: spirits around, like creating hump for like one of your
- 5:13Speaker 2: family members, another one of your children, like or even
- 5:15Speaker 2: like you, like I couldn't even imagine what that would
- 5:18Speaker 2: be like, It's like, how do you it's something that
- 5:20Speaker 2: like feels so out of control as well, how do
- 5:22Speaker 2: you manage that? And do you just like pack your
- 5:25Speaker 2: shit and leave?
- 5:26Speaker 1: Like if there was harm to one of my children,
- 5:28Speaker 1: I think.
- 5:28Speaker 2: I would, oh, absolutely yeah.
- 5:30Speaker 1: And like the fact that he got a knife that's
- 5:32Speaker 1: really alarming. Oh, it's terrifying. I have like a couple
- 5:36Speaker 1: of stories, tell me.
- 5:37Speaker 2: So. One was my mom's mom, I Nana. This is
- 5:41Speaker 2: like what she told us. So she lived in this
- 5:44Speaker 2: one house and she was living with my part, which
- 5:47Speaker 2: is her partner, and she used to say to my
- 5:50Speaker 2: part all the time, like there's something in this house,
- 5:53Speaker 2: like there's spirits or there's something because I keep hearing things.
- 5:57Speaker 2: And he was kind of just like brushed it off
- 5:59Speaker 2: because you know, like logical man, just oh it's fine,
- 6:01Speaker 2: you're just seeing things out like whatever, just you know,
- 6:03Speaker 2: downplaying it to like not get freaked out. And it
- 6:07Speaker 2: got so bad that like she would be in the
- 6:09Speaker 2: shower and she would notice things and see things and
- 6:12Speaker 2: feel things touch her, and like she got to like
- 6:14Speaker 2: her wits end. Anyway, they ended up moving out. Some
- 6:18Speaker 2: young couple ended up moving into the house, and apparently
- 6:22Speaker 2: like three months later, the wife died of an unexplained death,
- 6:26Speaker 2: and I was just like, what do you mean? And
- 6:28Speaker 2: my Naana was like, see, I wasn't fucking crazy and
- 6:32Speaker 2: literally unexplained. They don't know how she died. She died
- 6:34Speaker 2: in the shower.
- 6:35Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 6:36Speaker 2: And she was young, she was like in her thirties
- 6:38Speaker 2: or something like that. Bro, didn't you just give me
- 6:41Speaker 2: sh my god. I can't deal with paranormal stuff, can you.
- 6:45Speaker 2: I do not watch scary movies anymore. When I was younger,
- 6:49Speaker 2: my family and I we used to watch scary movies
- 6:51Speaker 2: all the time. Like we'd have like a Friday night
- 6:53Speaker 2: like family night, Friday night like basically, and we would
- 6:57Speaker 2: get together, sit on bean bags, have dinner, watch scary movies,
- 7:01Speaker 2: and each one of us would like kind of like
- 7:02Speaker 2: pick the scary movie for the week. But we did
- 7:05Speaker 2: this in a house where we were experiencing paranormal activity.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Oh, oh, my gosh.
- 7:08Speaker 2: And I was like, this was out in Runaway Bay
- 7:10Speaker 2: actually when I lived here a couple of times before.
- 7:13Speaker 2: So I was younger and we were living in this house.
- 7:16Speaker 2: And yeah, so at the time, it was like me,
- 7:20Speaker 2: all of my siblings, my mom and dad, which means
- 7:22Speaker 2: there's seven of us, and then at the time, two
- 7:23Speaker 2: of my cousins were living with us, so there was
- 7:25Speaker 2: nine of us in the house. We lived in like this, yeah,
- 7:27Speaker 2: this house, and things started to happen, like we would
- 7:31Speaker 2: hear noises or like you know, we'd say, we'd turn
- 7:34Speaker 2: the washing machine off, turn all the lights off, so
- 7:36Speaker 2: turn the washing machine on, dryer everything, go upstairs, turn
- 7:40Speaker 2: all the lights off, and they would all stop, and
- 7:42Speaker 2: it was just things like this. My brother reckons he
- 7:44Speaker 2: got pushed down the stairs and he was like someone
- 7:46Speaker 2: pushed me, like as a little boy, like still in
- 7:49Speaker 2: a nappy, like Tyler's age. Someone pushed me, but he
- 7:53Speaker 2: wasn't with anybody. And all of these little things kept
- 7:56Speaker 2: starting to happen, And I talked to my mom about
- 7:58Speaker 2: it now, and she was like, all of you came
- 8:01Speaker 2: to me with stories of weird stories of things like
- 8:03Speaker 2: that that would happen. But I kept telling you know,
- 8:05Speaker 2: it's fine, it's okay, everything's fine, And it's this random
- 8:09Speaker 2: time I was sitting in my mom's wardrobe and she
- 8:11Speaker 2: had like her bed was here. They had shutter blinds
- 8:15Speaker 2: and like a long bathroom into like a closet. Yeah,
- 8:18Speaker 2: and my sister and I were watching TV and we
- 8:20Speaker 2: were sitting like in front of the bed, and the
- 8:23Speaker 2: wardrobe doors would slam shop and just every time like
- 8:27Speaker 2: they would just sit and slam and the shutters would open,
- 8:30Speaker 2: and like the last straw was like. My mom was
- 8:33Speaker 2: standing in the bathroom getting ready doing her makeup, and
- 8:36Speaker 2: she felt something like grab her around the hips. But
- 8:38Speaker 2: she thought my dad had come home, so she was like, oh, Nova,
- 8:42Speaker 2: like my dad's name, Nova, what are you doing? Turned around,
- 8:44Speaker 2: No one was there, and it was just like this
- 8:47Speaker 2: thing a thing after thing, and like long story short,
- 8:51Speaker 2: we ended up moving. We did end up moving. We
- 8:54Speaker 2: broke the lease after three months. But one time we
- 8:57Speaker 2: had like the security for the local area, and one
- 9:00Speaker 2: day we were all out and the alarm system for
- 9:02Speaker 2: the house went off. Mom was like, oh, that's weird. Whatever,
- 9:05Speaker 2: we'll go home and check it. So we went home.
- 9:06Speaker 2: We're on the phone to the security. I was with
- 9:08Speaker 2: my mom in the house and she was checking the
- 9:11Speaker 2: security on the wall and they were like, oh, so,
- 9:14Speaker 2: like can you see any buttons da da da, Like
- 9:17Speaker 2: any lights on? And she was like no, no, no, no,
- 9:20Speaker 2: no lights are on. All of the alarm systems for
- 9:23Speaker 2: every single room went off while we were inside the house,
- 9:26Speaker 2: and they were like get out of the fucking house,
- 9:27Speaker 2: like the wires are being cut like kind of thing,
- 9:30Speaker 2: or something's wrong, something's really yeah, like you need to
- 9:34Speaker 2: get out of the house, like I don't think it's safe,
- 9:36Speaker 2: like and you need to run kind of thing. And
- 9:38Speaker 2: it was just crazy. Anyway. After that, my mum goes
- 9:42Speaker 2: to the real estate agent and goes, do you have
- 9:43Speaker 2: something to tell me about this house? And she goes no, no, no,
- 9:47Speaker 2: And she goes tell me the truth and she goes, yes,
- 9:51Speaker 2: I do. Apparently a man had committed murder. He killed
- 9:55Speaker 2: his family in the house. Oh goodness, his wife, his
- 9:59Speaker 2: two children, and himself in the house. What's crazy is
- 10:04Speaker 2: like we used to all think that we were going
- 10:05Speaker 2: crazy because we would hear little kids like footsteps running
- 10:10Speaker 2: up and down the street, Like we would be downstairs
- 10:12Speaker 2: and like go upstairs, and we would hear like pattering,
- 10:16Speaker 2: like a little kid was running up and down the stairs.
- 10:19Speaker 2: And then we would be like Nick, like my brother
- 10:21Speaker 2: the time, he was still in a nappy, like Nick
- 10:23Speaker 2: must be running up and down the stairs, but he
- 10:24Speaker 2: should be sleeping.
- 10:25Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 10:26Speaker 2: We'd go upstairs and we'd check and he'd be asleep
- 10:28Speaker 2: or like no kids would be home and be like
- 10:30Speaker 2: pitter pattering upstairs, like little wits are running around.
- 10:33Speaker 1: I believe everything about this.
- 10:36Speaker 2: It terrified me and like, no, one, you're not okay
- 10:39Speaker 2: with it now? Oh my god, I can't if I
- 10:41Speaker 2: watch a movie, I'm like, no, I won't be able
- 10:44Speaker 2: to sleep with the lights off, Like I won't even
- 10:46Speaker 2: be able to sleep with my toes outside of the
- 10:47Speaker 2: fucking blanket because I'll just be like something's going to
- 10:50Speaker 2: come get me.
- 10:52Speaker 1: Yeah. I've told this story in the podcast before, but
- 10:54Speaker 1: because anyone's missed, I'll tell it again. I had one
- 10:57Speaker 1: really crazy experience, not as intense as yours, but was
- 11:00Speaker 1: at my girlfriend's house and I just got my license
- 11:03Speaker 1: and I was borrowing her cardgo and gets stuff I
- 11:05Speaker 1: could stay over. And I hopped in the car and
- 11:08Speaker 1: there's no like reverse cameras back then, back in the
- 11:11Speaker 1: old day. But it turned around like just check a driver,
- 11:14Speaker 1: because it was really long. And as I've turned around,
- 11:17Speaker 1: there's a girl at the end of the driveway, but
- 11:19Speaker 1: like a ghost like figure in a white dress, long
- 11:21Speaker 1: black hair, just standing there. Ice scream absolute petch Fried.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Her family come run and you're like, what happened? I
- 11:27Speaker 1: was like, there was a girl, long dark hair, Like
- 11:29Speaker 1: what the fuck? And they're like, is she still there?
- 11:31Speaker 1: I was like, no, she's gone now anyway, she drove
- 11:34Speaker 1: ray blah blah blah, And we ended up finding out
- 11:36Speaker 1: that a few years ago the next door neighbor house,
- 11:39Speaker 1: a fourteen year old girl with long dark hair had
- 11:42Speaker 1: passed away there. Oh shut up, so it must have
- 11:44Speaker 1: been her.
- 11:45Speaker 2: Oh that's so terrifying.
- 11:47Speaker 1: And it looked like a young girl like I was
- 11:49Speaker 1: young and I remember long dark hair crazy.
- 11:53Speaker 2: Oh, that's so terrifying. It's always like some little girl
- 11:56Speaker 2: with long dark hairs gets the shit out of you.
- 11:58Speaker 1: It's like movies, Hay. It is creepy, isn't it. But
- 12:01Speaker 1: I definitely believe that spirit is around and it's kind
- 12:05Speaker 1: of comforting to know, like when that about you, but
- 12:07Speaker 1: like when your loved one's past it, they may be
- 12:09Speaker 1: around you still and coming to visit. Oh my gosh.
- 12:12Speaker 1: That's our first Freaky Friday episode. We would love to
- 12:16Speaker 1: hear if you guys have any creepy stories like this.
- 12:18Speaker 1: Like I said at the start, doesn't have to be
- 12:19Speaker 1: ghost It can be like a funny sexual encounter, or
- 12:22Speaker 1: just like a really horror story on your travels going
- 12:25Speaker 1: on to roach it with your girlfriends, or like yeah,
- 12:28Speaker 1: a creepy house. Anything, please write in. We're gonna leave
- 12:31Speaker 1: the link for you guys to write, and honestly, we
- 12:34Speaker 1: cannot see who it is. A promise we can't give
- 12:37Speaker 1: us all the details. The more details the better because
- 12:39Speaker 1: it gives us more to talk about it. But we
- 12:41Speaker 1: hope you enjoyed this first episode and our next one
- 12:43Speaker 1: is more sex related and it's really juicy. So stay
- 12:46Speaker 1: tuned for next Friday or do we have stories near you?
- 12:49Speaker 2: Yes?
- 12:49Speaker 1: Otherwise we'll see you on Monday. Bye bye
