Last night, while I was doom scrolling, a video popped up showing a man eating a burnt monkey that had been thrown into a flame, with a charred body and spaghetti on top of its head. There was no AI warning. It appeared to be real content being pushed for views, likes, comments, and addictive sharing.

I was in bed, at peace, watching motivational messages. Then this video appeared. It was disturbing, irregular, and shocking.

I reported the video, as I have done before. A few hours later, Facebook responded with a generated message saying the video was fine and there was no reason to take it…
