The Last Great Baseball Trade
On this episode, we look at the last great baseball trade, the December 1990 swap that sent Fred McGriff and Tony Fernandez to San Diego for Joe Carter and Roberto Alomar from the Toronto Blue Jays. We breakdown how the deal unfolded at the winter meetings and how the future of each franchise was impacted by the old school baseball trade. For fans of those Blue Jays World Series teams, this podcast will offer a buffet of stories on how those teams were constructed.
