- 0:00Sometimes our journey isn't what we expect or what we think we
- 0:04want, but it's always what we need.
- 0:07So we're never live forever. Melissa, let me come on.
- 0:10Be seriously right. We're we're all exiting this
- 0:12planet at some point. In our animals.
- 0:16Yes, we're all leaving and but but I think what our purpose is,
- 0:22is how are we serving? How are we contributing to the
- 0:26conscious edge of creation in a purposeful way using our gifts,
- 0:31our talents, our passion? How are we doing that?
- 0:34And when we get that, then we feel very accomplished.
- 0:39We feel satisfied. We feel that joy and contentment
- 0:43with knowing that we're really doing something wonderful in the
- 0:46world. And if anybody would have said
- 0:48to me 30 years ago, oh, you're going to transform veterinary
- 0:52medicine, I would have, I would have looked at them and said,
- 0:54are you crazy? And yet the program, my very
- 0:58first program that I developed got named Transforming that
- 1:02Medicine. Go figure.
- 1:05Hello, I'm Melissa Crook. Welcome to today's episode here
- 1:08on the Field podcast. I've got a new friend here with
- 1:11me today. This episode is going to be
- 1:14fascinating. Dr. Marlene Siegel is one of the
- 1:17most fascinating women I've ever met.
- 1:19Her background is just so full of it.
- 1:23I'm just going to start with how she describes herself.
- 1:27Creative, out-of-the-box, awakened, highly spiritual,
- 1:31fearless, courageous, curious. She's a trailblazer.
- 1:35She's playful. And that is just the beginning
- 1:38with this remarkable woman. I'm so excited to have her
- 1:41joining me here today. Welcome Doctor Marlene Siegel to
- 1:45the Field podcast. Thank you, Melissa.
- 1:48I'm so excited to speak with your audience and you.
- 1:51Yes, Oh, thank you so much. And I think there's so much in
- 1:54this. It would be really easy for me
- 1:57for me to say, Hey, pet lovers or those who know pet lovers,
- 1:59pay attention. But this episode is going to be
- 2:03Even so much more than that. So yes, it's we're going to
- 2:06appeal to you, but this is for everyone and I can't wait to get
- 2:09into it. So let's get into it.
- 2:11I'm going to start with prioritizing self-care in your
- 2:15life. Talk to me about what that's
- 2:17looked like for you. Animals have clearly been a very
- 2:21important component of this, but talk to me about that kind of
- 2:26evolution for you. So I've always been very good at
- 2:31self-care. I've always worked out.
- 2:34When I was much younger, I owned a physical gym like it was
- 2:38called Body Masters. So I was always into eating
- 2:41good, always into exercise. That was always a part of my
- 2:44life. And then as I got older, medical
- 2:48school was very taxing because your hours are ridiculous and
- 2:52you compromise a lot going through that.
- 2:54And then after I got out of medical school, I went back to
- 2:57that self-care. I've always done things like
- 3:00spiritual reflection and always focusing on what makes me happy.
- 3:05I've always been very tuned into being present.
- 3:10So when something happens, I look at the experience.
- 3:13First of all, I've always owned it, so if something happens in
- 3:17my life, I go, oh, isn't that interesting, What did I create
- 3:20that for? And.
- 3:22Sometimes doesn't come out right away.
- 3:24Sometimes you're in the pain of the moment.
- 3:26But I've never been a victim. I've always looked at how can I
- 3:30turn this blessing? Because it's always a blessing.
- 3:33You just don't see it at the moment.
- 3:34Yeah. So those are the characteristics
- 3:36I've always had. I've always been very positive.
- 3:38I've always been a seeker of knowledge and information and an
- 3:43implementer. So I sort of like routine, but I
- 3:46don't like routine. But I'm kind of in between.
- 3:50I'm a Gemini so I have multiple personalities and and I use them
- 3:54all. Yeah, I love that all the
- 3:57layers, all they all come into play.
- 3:59And I think you're a busy person.
- 4:01You do. You have this, your holistic
- 4:04veterinary practice, You're continually expanding the way
- 4:08you offer this to pet owners, to pets.
- 4:11You're constantly curious. You're doing more research.
- 4:15You evolved into this space. You went to traditional
- 4:18schooling, but then learned through time and practice and
- 4:22discovering what you are capable of doing with animals, your own
- 4:26horse specifically, and it really informed.
- 4:30So all of that to say, there's got to be, I would say, some
- 4:34healthy boundaries that you have in your life to allow yourself
- 4:38the time to fill your cup so you have the energy to stay curious
- 4:42and continue to be the trailblazer that you are.
- 4:47I've always been blessed with very high energy levels.
- 4:51Always. So I start my day typically
- 4:54sitting in the sauna while I'm doing my call with my staff.
- 4:57And then I do some block therapy.
- 5:00I do breath work. The first thing I actually do
- 5:02when I wake up, when my eyes open is I go into a meditative
- 5:06state. And then I start doing some
- 5:08remote healing on a lot of my patients.
- 5:10And then I get up and I do the sauna and then I do some
- 5:12exercise and I don't make it like a big chore and I just make
- 5:17it part of of who I am, part of my day.
- 5:19I love my windows don't have any shades on them.
- 5:22So when the sun comes up, I'm actually seeing an east window
- 5:25in my bedroom. So that light comes in and my
- 5:28eyes are adjusting to that beautiful sunlight in the
- 5:31morning. And then throughout the day, I
- 5:34just literally have so much gratitude for the moments in my
- 5:38day. Very present.
- 5:39I don't spend a lot of time in my past and I don't have a lot
- 5:42of time in my future. Some planning like we all do,
- 5:46but pretty much I'm very present in the moment and I'm present
- 5:49with the people that I'm with. And then gratitude, gratitude,
- 5:53gratitude. I live in a food forest, so I
- 5:57derive so much pleasure from the food forest.
- 6:00I walk out and I touch my plants, I'll pull a few weeds
- 6:03and I get that microbiome on me and I breathe it in and I will
- 6:08give gratitude to the microbiome in my garden because now that is
- 6:12syncing with me. I guess really the, the best way
- 6:16to to put it is just finding the bliss in each moment.
- 6:22And that's what's so refreshing because when you're in in that
- 6:25kind of energetic state, you really don't feel the stress and
- 6:28the pressure and you just immediately entrain to this
- 6:33level of higher vibration. Yeah, absolutely.
- 6:36And I love how you make this is a part of your day.
- 6:39So it it's a part of how you flow.
- 6:41It's you're not having to find space for it.
- 6:44It's incorporated created in there.
- 6:46All that was a great way of putting it.
- 6:47Yeah, absolutely. So good in you very clearly see
- 6:53this in your work with animals, how they interact with people,
- 6:57the emotional, mental, physical, spiritual health connection.
- 7:02When was the first time you realized the power that pets and
- 7:07animals have to impact that? When Wow, that was probably
- 7:1430-40 years ago. I've been practicing for 40
- 7:17years and, and so there was this always this subtle awareness,
- 7:23but I don't think I really had the words for it until I was a
- 7:27little further into practice. And then as my holistic side of
- 7:31the practice started to develop and I really started to make the
- 7:34connection and I started to see that it was never an accident
- 7:38that there was a particular pet with a particular owner and they
- 7:41had their own particular challenges.
- 7:44And I very early on, probably 3035 years ago, I started asking
- 7:50my clients when they came into my office, besides the, the
- 7:54traditional history questions, I would literally ask them, why
- 7:58are you in my office or no, I would say, why are you here?
- 8:02And I don't mean in my office. I mean on planet earth, why are
- 8:06you here? And it was always a question
- 8:09that would take people back for a moment because they were like,
- 8:12I don't know, I don't know what my purpose is.
- 8:13I don't know why I'm here. Or I thought about it and I
- 8:16don't know. And there was literally less
- 8:18than a half a percent of people had an answer.
- 8:22And well, a couple of people said, I'm here to serve or I'm
- 8:26here to serve God. And and so they referenced their
- 8:30purpose for being here where everybody else was more like
- 8:34going down the luge without a steering wheel.
- 8:36They were just bouncing off the walls, not really having a
- 8:39direction. They were more like a victim
- 8:41than a victor. And I realized, and that was a
- 8:44real aha moment because I realized that that particular
- 8:48pet was bringing them to an opportunity to actually start
- 8:54seeking what is that actual purpose?
- 8:56And I think there's more than one purpose.
- 8:58I don't think you're limited, but at least finding what is
- 9:01that direction? Like, why am I really here?
- 9:04Why did I choose? Because we all make that choice
- 9:07to Incarnate with the kind of gifts that we have, with the
- 9:09passions that we have, with the opportunities that we've
- 9:12created, the direction we've taken in our life.
- 9:15Why are we doing that? And that is very, very deep and
- 9:20very rewarding conversation to have because I've seen people
- 9:24find their ability to have forgiveness for themselves and
- 9:28for others. I've seen people finally step
- 9:31into where their real passion and strength is.
- 9:35I've seen them find purpose in their life that before, they
- 9:38just really didn't think they could ever find what they were
- 9:41here for. So it there, there's been so
- 9:44many blessed moments where you see people really flourish and
- 9:50and contribute in the way that I think we all were designed to
- 9:53contribute in our own unique and special way.
- 9:56You invited them into really tap into what fills my cup, what
- 10:04renews me, how do I want to feel in my life over time, what are
- 10:08my values, what do I care about, what are my expectations, what
- 10:13are my hopes and informing yourself about these things
- 10:17because these are all areas that I talk to women about when I
- 10:20work with them. It then allows you to tap into
- 10:23where you want to be spending your time, what you want your
- 10:26calendar to look like, how you can set up your life in a way
- 10:30that fulfills that which is what you have.
- 10:33I've done. What led you to start asking
- 10:36that question? What led me?
- 10:42I think somewhere deep inside I realized that there was a
- 10:46connection between that Pets challenge and what that owner
- 10:53needed to experience. And when I made that connection,
- 10:57and that was very early on in my career when I really started
- 11:00going into more integrative work and the spiritual side of my
- 11:04work started to come forth. And I started to really
- 11:07understand that it's all interconnected.
- 11:10And as we look for the, as we ask the question and we are
- 11:15prepared to receive the answer, that's where the magic happens.
- 11:19Yeah. Yeah, it's that prepared to
- 11:22receive. You hit on something really
- 11:23important here. There's got to be a level of
- 11:27curiosity and you've got to be able to remove the judgment and
- 11:31what's comfortable because I, I, I say all the time, comfort and
- 11:36curiosity cannot coexist together because it will, you
- 11:41cannot be curious and stay comfortable.
- 11:43It it's not allowed. And it's in getting curious that
- 11:46you really tap into what all is within you, what all is
- 11:50possible. And it's such a beautiful
- 11:53discovery. It can be complex and
- 11:55challenging and you got to ask yourself some hard questions at
- 11:58times. But yeah, it's a really an
- 12:00invitation. I love that you were able to get
- 12:03there and see that connection between people and their pets
- 12:07and what's possible when it comes to talk to people a little
- 12:11bit about you have this story with your own.
- 12:14Was it your daughter's horse that you realized, wait a minute
- 12:19here. There's something that is
- 12:21outside of traditional vet medicine that's possible.
- 12:25Tell our listeners about that experience.
- 12:30Well, I think anytime somebody we have a choice when we
- 12:36experience something that is really challenging, you know it
- 12:42something that really causes us to have to break out of our
- 12:46limiting beliefs. Those are those golden moments
- 12:49that take you where your passion and your purpose really lie.
- 12:52And so for me, my daughters and I were showing horses, and my
- 12:56youngest was involved in a riding accident where her horse
- 12:59reared in the air. No one had taught her that if
- 13:02your horse rears in the air, just bail off.
- 13:04You know, you just want to be as far away from that horse landing
- 13:07on you as pop. Sure.
- 13:08But no one pulled her. And she's 10 years old.
- 13:10She's a little 50 LB child. And so she was literally trying
- 13:14to keep herself from falling off by holding on to the reins,
- 13:19which was then acting like a fulcrum and literally pulling
- 13:22the horse over backwards. Wow.
- 13:24And the horse squatted on her left hind leg like she played.
- 13:28She squatted down on that left hind leg and tried to push
- 13:31herself as hard as she could in the opposite direction of where
- 13:34my daughter was starting to slide off.
- 13:37But when the horse hit the ground, she fell over backwards.
- 13:39And when she hit the ground, you couldn't see space between horse
- 13:42and rider. So I was already over the edge
- 13:45of the rail and I'm running towards them.
- 13:47The horse caught her breath and got up and my daughter was still
- 13:50on the ground, not moving. So when I got there, I really
- 13:53didn't know what I was going to find.
- 13:54But your mind is blank. You just, you're frozen.
- 13:57You can't, you can't even conceive of what going to see.
- 14:02But thank God she opened her eyes and she was fine.
- 14:05She was just embarrassed and, you know, embarrassed and and so
- 14:11that was the first incident. But back at home, we had a
- 14:15couple of more incidences where something was happening and I
- 14:19was standing next to the horse. The third time it happened and I
- 14:22could just see the spasm going all the way up her neck and I
- 14:27didn't know if it was a seizure or a spasm.
- 14:29I had equine veterinarians come out and look at her.
- 14:31I do small animal work. So I I out who were supposed to
- 14:35be the experts and they said we don't know what's causing her to
- 14:38do this. This is the third episode, but
- 14:40we can tell you she's not safe to ride.
- 14:42You'll never show her again and your choices are you can put her
- 14:46out to a pasture or you can put her down.
- 14:49And it was the words of there's nothing more that can be done
- 14:54that just woke something up in me and I didn't blame them for
- 14:59not having any answers, but I was determined I was going to
- 15:03find solutions. This was a 7 year old Canadian
- 15:07and U.S. National champion in open
- 15:09divisions. But the most important thing was
- 15:12this horse consciously saved my daughter's life and there was
- 15:16nothing that I wasn't willing to do to fix her and have that
- 15:21little team back out on the circuit.
- 15:23So that started my journey. And I made a promise that in my
- 15:27veterinary practice, I would never utter the words.
- 15:30There's nothing more that can be done.
- 15:32And since that day, I was only tempted once to do that.
- 15:35That was a really challenging case.
- 15:38And I, this person looked at me, she said, you're our last hope.
- 15:43And so I just dug in deep and I made it happen.
- 15:46And I've never uttered those words.
- 15:48Well, if you're going to make a promise like that, you have to
- 15:51have a big toolkit. Like you cannot miss your
- 15:53standard Western medicine, steroids, antibiotics, surgery,
- 15:57chemo, like you have to have a much larger toolkit to be able
- 16:02to handle the complex diseases that we're seeing today.
- 16:04Sure. And that's what I do.
- 16:07And every day I'm looking for more and more technologies.
- 16:11I'm always looking for something that I can employ that would be
- 16:14safe and effective and cost effective.
- 16:17So I'm always looking for that. So over the years I've developed
- 16:21the largest integrative services of anybody in the entire world.
- 16:27It also pushed me to be able to really understand biology of the
- 16:32body in a way that I would never have imagined I would be doing.
- 16:36You know, it's just funny how you're taking where you need to
- 16:40be. Even if you're sleeping and
- 16:42screaming, you're still going to go eventually.
- 16:45So I just accepted it and as I became open to it, I was
- 16:51mentored by some of the greatest human MD's in the world and
- 16:56people that were both intelligent and spiritual and
- 17:00were able to really help me to raise myself to the level I
- 17:05needed to be in order to understand these complex
- 17:08diseases and how to solve them. And now I make it simple.
- 17:11I make it really easy for people to understand what do we need to
- 17:15do differently. Yeah, yeah.
- 17:17Basically, identifying our deficiencies, identifying our
- 17:21toxicities, identifying what's causing mitochondrial
- 17:25dysfunction, the energy packets that help drive our energy, and
- 17:29then what are the trapped emotions associated with the
- 17:31disease? If you can accomplish those 4,
- 17:34then you can understand the path to healing.
- 17:39Keeping in mind that sometimes our journey isn't what we expect
- 17:44or what we think we want, but it's always what we need.
- 17:48Yeah. So we're never going to live
- 17:49forever. Melissa, let me come on.
- 17:51Be seriously. Right.
- 17:52We're we're all exiting this planet at some point.
- 17:56In our animals. Yes, we're all leaving and but I
- 18:01think what our purpose is, is how are we serving, How are we
- 18:05contributing to the conscious edge of creation in a purposeful
- 18:10way using our gifts, our talents, our passion?
- 18:13How are we doing that? And when we get that, then we
- 18:18feel very accomplished. We feel satisfied.
- 18:21We feel that joy and contentment with knowing that we're really
- 18:26doing something wonderful in the world.
- 18:27Yeah. And if anybody would have said
- 18:29to me 30 years ago, oh, you're going to transform veterinary
- 18:33medicine, I would have. I would have looked at them and
- 18:35said, are you crazy? Yeah.
- 18:36And yet the program, my very first program that I developed
- 18:41got named Transforming that Medicine.
- 18:44Go figure. Who the thunk and and yeah, so
- 18:49that's my veterinary training program, but it's also the
- 18:51umbrella company for all of our education.
- 18:54So transforming that medicine crazy.
- 18:56But that was named so long ago, and now I stepped into that
- 19:00role. Wow.
- 19:02I used to be shy. Now I speak in front of hundreds
- 19:05of thousands of people like I would never in the middle.
- 19:08If you knew me 30 years ago, you would have been shocked.
- 19:13You would have said, this girl can't stand up and say her name
- 19:15in public. Seriously.
- 19:18And my first speaker engagement was at The Truth About Cancer.
- 19:21I was a keynote speaker, my very first presentation.
- 19:24And the guy miking me up, you know, he's putting my mic up
- 19:28now. We're in front of 192 countries,
- 19:3010 million people watching in a live audience of 1500.
- 19:34And he says to me, oh, so where have you spoken before?
- 19:37And I went, oh, never. And I hear him suck his breath
- 19:40in. He walked around my shoulder and
- 19:43he looks up at my face. And he said, are you okay?
- 19:47I went, yeah, I'm supposed to be on stage, get done.
- 19:50And, you know, and you're a little nervous the first time,
- 19:53but then after that, you are just.
- 19:55I think it's because you step into your passion.
- 19:57You are so connected with what you're doing.
- 20:01Yes, and you're you're just walking your truth and when you
- 20:04do that, you don't hesitate anymore.
- 20:07It it feels like you're doing what you're supposed to be doing
- 20:09and you're supported and you're nurtured and you know the right
- 20:12things turn on for you. So that's what I would say to
- 20:15anybody who is not sure is be open to receiving the guidance
- 20:22so that you can step into your purpose.
- 20:24And what I would with my clients, when they would come
- 20:26in, they go, I don't know what my purpose is.
- 20:28I would literally have them do an exercise where they wrote
- 20:31down all of the things that they like to do.
- 20:34Every skill that you can imagine, if it's organizational,
- 20:37if it's typing, whatever, just list all of your skills and then
- 20:42the summit column where what are the things that you really,
- 20:45really love to do? What are you passionate about?
- 20:48And then they, I would list all those and then I would say look
- 20:52at all of your skills and your passions and what does the world
- 20:57need that only you can provide? It doesn't matter if it already
- 21:01exists. You're providing your unique
- 21:04twist. You're providing you into that
- 21:07solution, and that's valuable. And it would just change
- 21:11people's lives. And the way the animals
- 21:13responded was pretty magical and and, and truly, I can always
- 21:19tell how successful or not a case is going to go based on the
- 21:24emotions of the pet parent. Yeah.
- 21:28So the ones that are, yeah, the ones that are stuck in fear and
- 21:32they're, they're victims and life is always against them.
- 21:36And they have just very low vibration, very low energy.
- 21:39They're not bad people. I'm just saying they're stuck in
- 21:42this victimhood. Those are the ones that it's
- 21:45really hard to get them to to transform if they're not willing
- 21:49to do the transformation. Those are going to be the ones
- 21:53that we're really challenged with.
- 21:54And those animals tend to be harder to get them to turn
- 21:58around. And then the ones where the pet
- 22:01parents have that positive look and they, they're just, they're
- 22:06ready to do whatever they need to do whatever they can do.
- 22:09And they're more accepting that they're going to do their very
- 22:13best. And then whatever happens is in
- 22:16God's hands or the universe or, you know, however they want to
- 22:19phrase that they have let go of their attachment to the outcome.
- 22:26And when we do that, the outcome will will be more of what we
- 22:33were really meant to experience. Yeah.
- 22:35Oh, that is so good. I love that so much because our
- 22:38animals sense our emotions like they pick up. 100.
- 22:42Percent you know, when we're tense, when we're scared, when
- 22:45we're fearful, when we're happy, when we're joyous, when we're
- 22:48sad, when we're sick. I mean, we hear stories all the
- 22:50time of when you're sick and your animal comes and sits close
- 22:54to you or snuggles up against you or our we, we had a dog when
- 22:59our kids were little that slept under the bunk bed just to, you
- 23:02know, as a protector. And you know, they have that
- 23:05sense. And that goes for all of those
- 23:07emotions and how their the ability to connect with those.
- 23:11But yeah, I think that releasing outcomes and being open to
- 23:16what's there and what's possible is can be such a freeing
- 23:20practice, but it but you have it takes intentionality and
- 23:24releasing those years and that that space you get stuck in when
- 23:29you you're comfortable, so to speak, but you're not thriving.
- 23:34You're not living. You haven't connected to you
- 23:38haven't. You're not living in alignment
- 23:40with who you were designed to be.
- 23:42Exactly. Yeah, absolutely, yeah.
- 23:46And the animals, not only do they entrain to our energy.
- 23:49So if we are giving off a lot of based on our emotion, if we're
- 23:55angry, frustrated, if we're bitter, if we're blame your
- 23:58shamers, then we're creating or fearful, we're creating neural
- 24:03chemicals that are then sending signals to our microbiome, to
- 24:09our genome, to our gene expression.
- 24:12We're turning on different functional genes that are
- 24:15reflecting what we're communicating.
- 24:17It's almost like you're communicating to the the planet,
- 24:21your body being the planet, you're communicating internally
- 24:24what's happening on the outside based on your perception.
- 24:28And our animals will literally entrain to that energy.
- 24:32Because if they think that if we're acting like there's a
- 24:35boogeyman constantly out there based on our level of fear and
- 24:39anxiety, then they're going, hey, my pet, my parent, my pack
- 24:45leader is saying that there's something really dangerous out
- 24:48there. I don't know where it is.
- 24:49I don't know where it's coming from, but I'm going to be on
- 24:51high alert. So pet parent is in high
- 24:53sympathetic tone, animal stays in high alert, high sympathetic
- 24:58tone. So that's one thing that
- 24:59happens. But the other thing that they
- 25:01do, and I think this is so magnificent, is they also help
- 25:06to relieve some of that heavy density that we experience in
- 25:11this third dimension. So you said it earlier when
- 25:14we're up set and that animal sits on our lap or puts their
- 25:17head underneath our hand and then we start to put them and
- 25:20whatever you were either angry or crying about, it just doesn't
- 25:24feel so dense and you start to feel better, you start to
- 25:27breathe. So they do that as well.
- 25:29And then the third thing is they actually reflect and mirror that
- 25:34which we really need to experience the most.
- 25:37So based on wherever the DIS ease is, if it's an organ system
- 25:43or if it's an expression that they're having, there's always a
- 25:47relationship back to either the pet guardian or somebody in that
- 25:52household that is important. Wow, wow, thank you so much for
- 25:58that. That is so fascinating.
- 26:00You, I think, are are such a great example of this.
- 26:04But showing up as yourself unapologetically and supporting
- 26:10other women in doing so, other people in doing so.
- 26:14Talk to me about how you've arrived in this place because
- 26:17you are so aligned with who you are and you are your curiosity
- 26:22keeps you going. And I love earlier how this this
- 26:25situation that could have been very terrifying and was in the
- 26:29moment with your daughter, how that drove your curiosity or
- 26:32something about being a woman, about being a mom and tapping
- 26:36into these events that happened in our lives, especially with
- 26:39our kids that can drive this curiosity and open up this whole
- 26:44new world when we're willing to follow it.
- 26:47You really did that. That's an example to me of how
- 26:49you just unapologetically went after this thing.
- 26:52There are other traditional, no, no one's done what you've done
- 26:56before. So talk to me about this
- 26:59unapologetic manner which you live in.
- 27:03How does that happen? My dad was a very strong
- 27:07influencer. He wasn't a rule follower.
- 27:11So I I. Probably had some good modeling
- 27:13there and you know, you can be anything that you choose to be.
- 27:18And so I had that kind of growing up.
- 27:20I had a good model where my mom was very fearful, which was
- 27:23interesting. My mom was when I went to open
- 27:26my own practice, she goes, well, what happens if nobody comes?
- 27:29What happens if you do something wrong?
- 27:31What happens? What happens?
- 27:32And I was like, I'll deal with it, you know, but you just, you
- 27:36have to strike out and do it. So I, I had a dad who was very a
- 27:41risk taker and then I had a mom who was absolutely not a risk
- 27:45taker. So interesting that dichotomy
- 27:48that I, I got to observe and they think I always had the
- 27:51spiritual side. I just didn't know that it was a
- 27:54spiritual side. I didn't know I had intuition
- 27:56and those skills because it's just who you are.
- 27:59And it isn't till you get older that you go, oh, everybody
- 28:03doesn't do that. And then, and then I
- 28:05intentionally developed it. So I've intentionally worked on
- 28:09my mediumship skills and my ability to read energy and to do
- 28:16energy work in addition to the physical things that we do.
- 28:19And and I'm just always learning and I just find absolute joy in
- 28:25everything I do. I love that.
- 28:28And you also invite other people into it.
- 28:30Going back to that question you asked, you know your clients as
- 28:34they come in with their animals, you are inviting other people
- 28:36into this as well, which I think is so beautiful.
- 28:40And I think this is a direct correlation to your to your why
- 28:44and your values. Everything you do feeds out of
- 28:48that. What made you decide to go down
- 28:52this road initially in the veterinary world and talk to me
- 28:57about how your why and your values have informed how you've
- 29:00continued to evolve? Well, you know, obviously the
- 29:05the Horror Story was what really made me do that paradigm shift.
- 29:09That was the one that took me out of my typical comfort zone
- 29:13and said, I have to find answers where they don't exist.
- 29:16And as I did that, I would, oh gosh, back then it was just the
- 29:21beginning of functional medicine that they that was just
- 29:25happening. And so I would get out of all of
- 29:27these webinars and it was interesting how it would just
- 29:30show up in my e-mail feed and then I would click into a
- 29:33webinar and I would learn everything they were talking
- 29:35about for people. And then I would contact the
- 29:38speakers and I would say, I want to apply that to animals.
- 29:41And would you give me some guidance on how you do it for
- 29:44people? And so I would, they would say,
- 29:45well, I don't know how to work on animals.
- 29:47And I said, that's fine, you tell me what you do for people.
- 29:49I will learn how to extrapolate it and apply it to the animals.
- 29:53And so I just continue to, I still do that to this day.
- 29:56And and then just I think you have to walk your talk and I and
- 30:01I know that's what makes it different because like attracts
- 30:05like, right? We know that in homeopathy, so
- 30:07many other aspects of our world. So a majority of the people that
- 30:11end up finding me, whether they're a direct client or
- 30:14telemedicine, now that we can just telemedicine or hearing me
- 30:17speaking on stage, whatever, it's that attraction of me
- 30:22walking the talk. You can't pretend that you
- 30:27believe a certain thing, but then you don't really live it,
- 30:30right? So I live everything I do, the
- 30:33way I eat, the way I grow food, the way I treat Mother Earth,
- 30:37the way I treat my patients, the willingness to go to any length
- 30:42that is necessary. I haven't come across a piece of
- 30:44technology that I wasn't willing to spend the money on if it was
- 30:48going to work on my pet. So you know, I, so I, I live
- 30:53that. And every once in a while the
- 30:56wrong energetic match can slip under the veil.
- 30:59And those are my one star reviews.
- 31:01So it's really interesting because when you read those one
- 31:03star reviews, it's very clear we are not aligned.
- 31:08And, and I bless them. And I say, I want you to find
- 31:13who is going to be a good fit for you.
- 31:14It's just not me because I'm not going to listen to somebody
- 31:19blame, even shame and come up with excuses.
- 31:22Not everybody has to live the life I live.
- 31:26But then don't point fingers when you suffer the consequences
- 31:30of what you chose to do. If you want to eat unhealthy,
- 31:35there's going to be a consequence at some point.
- 31:38There's just it is what it is. Those are kind of the you know,
- 31:42the facts of life isms that I. Would love.
- 31:46But, but I don't make anybody, I don't intentionally want to make
- 31:50anybody feel like what they're doing is wrong.
- 31:53It's a choice. We get to live Earth school the
- 31:57way we choose. And sometimes I think people
- 32:00choose to be the contrast and God bless them, because without
- 32:05the contrast, it wouldn't really gear us in the direction for us
- 32:11to be very clear on what we do want.
- 32:13Yeah. So I appreciate the contrast.
- 32:16I don't want everything to be the same.
- 32:19I want to know that the choices that I'm making are going to
- 32:23have a big impact for me, for my patients, for the planet.
- 32:28But that's me. We're all different.
- 32:31We have diversity, and that's a wonderful thing.
- 32:34And so I bless everybody to live the life that they choose.
- 32:39Doesn't have to be mine, but if they want a different life, if
- 32:43they don't like where they're at, you know what?
- 32:47Get up and do something different.
- 32:49And it's not hard. It's not hard, it's just a
- 32:53choice. We all have the same number of
- 32:55hours in a day. I just choose to not watch
- 32:58television. I choose to not waste my time
- 33:02doing meaningless things. I'm always doing something that
- 33:08either educates me or provides me pleasure or helps enhance
- 33:13something in the world that I'm working on.
- 33:15Yeah, but that's me. So I do a majority of my own
- 33:19cooking. My daughter and I, we do a lot
- 33:21of cooking. We grow our food.
- 33:22I love going out to harvest. I love making things from the
- 33:26things I grew and I nurtured. And I'm grateful to the plants
- 33:31and what they provided to Mother Earth.
- 33:33And that's just me, but that brings me to absolute grounding
- 33:37and joy and community because of course, the people that I do
- 33:41this with, we're all like minded.
- 33:44So we, we support each other in those those kind of activities
- 33:49that bring us great joy. One of my best friends, she's an
- 33:51herbalist and the two of us are so geeky when we go to
- 33:55conferences or we just go out to a, a park or something and we
- 33:59have our little scissors and our little Ziploc Baggies.
- 34:02We don't use Ziploc anymore because it's plastic back in the
- 34:05day. But you know, we'll, we'll get
- 34:07cuttings off of things and we bring it back and we learn about
- 34:10it and we grow it and it just we have so much fun doing stuff
- 34:14like that. But that makes.
- 34:15Me happy you. And you said something really
- 34:20important and this is part of the principles that I operate
- 34:23out of. I have 3 principles that I
- 34:24really operate out of is that you're valuable, you're worthy,
- 34:29and you get to choose. And sometimes we live life like
- 34:33we, I, oh, I, I'm stuck in this. You get choices, things are
- 34:37going to happen to you. You get to choose your response.
- 34:40You get to choose how you're going to move forward.
- 34:42You get to choose if you're going to stay stuck or
- 34:45comfortable or whether you're going to make a decision.
- 34:47And I think what you're saying about that's such an important
- 34:50component. We have an accountability in
- 34:52this where we have to be willing to be part of our own story.
- 34:58And that's going to require and everything we do is a choice.
- 35:01It's a choice to stay where we are or it's a choice to change
- 35:04our situation. But I appreciate what you said
- 35:05so much. I've had some different people
- 35:09in my life over the last couple years.
- 35:10And there's one particular person and she'll continually
- 35:14talk to me about this same family dynamic over and over and
- 35:17over again. And I have been giving her the
- 35:19same responses for for years now where I finally got to a point
- 35:23I'm like, listen, we have beat this to death and you it's so I
- 35:30so I'm going to very kindly, but pointedly say to you, do
- 35:35something different about it. Make a different choice because
- 35:39I'm not willing to entertain this conversation anymore.
- 35:41It's frustrating. And you have a choice and you've
- 35:45decided, you know, to stay where you are and gripe about it
- 35:50versus doing something about it. And, and it was like, and she
- 35:54was like, you know, we have a long relationship.
- 35:56And so I can, you know, and she was like, no, you're right,
- 35:59you're absolutely right. Thank you for saying that to me.
- 36:02It wasn't met with hostility. Like, and you know, it's
- 36:04sometimes it's read the room, but also it's, it's OK to say
- 36:07that. And we, but we've got to it, you
- 36:09know, and working with women, when I'm working like you, I'm
- 36:12going to give you a framework here, but you've got to choose
- 36:15to be part of this. I can't do it for you.
- 36:18And it's not a magic potion. But if you're willing to make
- 36:21these choices for yourself and stay curious, you can thrive and
- 36:24find your alignment. And that's where the good stuff
- 36:27is. Absolutely.
- 36:30On a quantum level, it is said that there's nothing in the
- 36:33universe but you, and everything that you experience is a
- 36:40reflection of something inside of you.
- 36:43So when you pass that homeless person on the street, some part
- 36:47of you is that homeless person, How are you going to treat them?
- 36:51And when you experience, let's say, wealth and prosperity or
- 36:57tragedy, how you experience it is the choice that you get to
- 37:02make. You can be a victim or you can
- 37:05look at everything and say it's uncomfortable right now.
- 37:08Absolutely, you are entitled to feel the emotion.
- 37:12But somewhere in there is taking responsibility that you in fact
- 37:16created everything and you created it for your highest and
- 37:22best good. And you cannot understand that.
- 37:26When you can really accept that, then it allows you to again
- 37:31release the attack attachment to the outcome and realize that
- 37:35everything is moving you in a direction that will help you to
- 37:40be the best version of who you are.
- 37:44And that's not always easy, really.
- 37:49You know it. Do you want to play a puzzle
- 37:51that has three pieces and it's not challenging?
- 37:55Or do you want to feel good when you play a puzzle that has 3D
- 37:58and 10,000 pieces and then you get done and you just have to
- 38:02frame it because it was so much work that you put into it and
- 38:05you feel so good afterwards? That's what Earth School is We.
- 38:09Didn't come here. To belittle, we didn't come here
- 38:12to have an easy go of it. We came here to do something big
- 38:15with ourselves and sometimes it just takes an accident or an
- 38:20event that kind of wakes you up out of your slumber and says now
- 38:27is the time. We've given you all the skill
- 38:29sets you have, all the motivation you have, everything
- 38:32you need. Now step up to the plate and
- 38:34make a home run. Yes, you, you have it all within
- 38:37you. I think that's such an important
- 38:39piece to tap into. You've got it all within you.
- 38:41Thank you so much for that. So good.
- 38:43Yeah, and no one else is responsible for you.
- 38:45No one can make you happy but you.
- 38:48And it's no one else's job to make you happy or accomplished
- 38:52or anything else. It's up to you.
- 38:54And that's why, you know, on a quantum level, when we say
- 38:56there's nobody in the universe but you, you're it.
- 38:59Yeah, exactly. Everything is a reflection of
- 39:02you. Yeah, so.
- 39:03Make the most of it. Absolutely 100% leaving out of
- 39:07your own expectations versus others.
- 39:09You do that on a multi layered level, like you have not allowed
- 39:14others societal medical expectations within the vet
- 39:19world. Anything of that get in your
- 39:21way. You have very comfortable living
- 39:23out of your own expectations. You went in when there weren't
- 39:27answers. You know, when holistic medicine
- 39:29was only available on a human level.
- 39:31You took that information and you learned and researched how
- 39:35to apply it to animals. Like, you have just blown
- 39:39expectations out of the water, which I think is such a
- 39:42beautiful thing. What do you say to people, you
- 39:46know, when you run into somebody that's trying to, like, put you
- 39:51back in that box? What's your response to them?
- 39:55You know, I'm so blessed that I don't let other people define
- 40:00me. And that's why I I want to also
- 40:03point out that veterinarians have the highest rate of suicide
- 40:07of any industry worldwide. And it's because that
- 40:12veterinarians are very compassionate.
- 40:14We have deep, deep feeling for the things that we do.
- 40:18And when people in today's day and age, they bully and they
- 40:23write one star reviews and they try to.
- 40:25Blame and shame. We didn't 'cause their pets
- 40:27cancer. Yeah, You know, was it our job
- 40:31to fix everything in the world? That's not realistic, No.
- 40:33But for many veterinarians who don't have a good strong
- 40:37self-image of themselves or maybe they're points in there,
- 40:43some self doubts, that can be very painful.
- 40:46And that has caused a, the highest rate of suicide of any
- 40:49industry. It would call it compassion
- 40:51fatigue. And so it's #1 be kind to your
- 40:54veterinarian. They're not out there to hurt
- 40:56you. They're not out there to harm
- 40:57your pet. They're doing the best that they
- 40:58know with the level of education that they have.
- 41:02And if that isn't what you're looking for, be kind, say thank
- 41:07you. And if they don't want to learn
- 41:10or step out-of-the-box, then go find somebody who you can work
- 41:13with. But be kind with your words,
- 41:15because who wants to know that their ugliness caused that level
- 41:20of pain in somebody else? That's not good karma.
- 41:24So what I do is I just live every day with my own level of
- 41:32standards and my standards are higher for me than what anybody
- 41:38else can have for me or expect for me.
- 41:42And so I meet what I know is the very best that I can do.
- 41:46And if somebody has to say bad things, I know in my heart that
- 41:51hurting people hurt people. So I just don't take it
- 41:54personal. And again, you can look at our
- 41:57one star reviews and when I answer people, I respect the
- 42:03fact that they're hurting. And these are people who are
- 42:06blamers and shamers for the most part, and they don't know how to
- 42:09accept responsibility. I'm not going to rub it in their
- 42:12face that that animal lived a lifestyle under their care that
- 42:17created the problem. And then they come to me for
- 42:21help, but they're not happy with the outcome.
- 42:24That part's not on me. I'm going to do the very best
- 42:26that I can, giving very clear information, very clear
- 42:31expectations. I'm very honest with people.
- 42:35I don't know what the outcome is going to be.
- 42:37I'm just going to do the very best that I can.
- 42:39And we work together as a team and, and what the outcome is, we
- 42:44are going to trust it's going to be the highest and best good for
- 42:48everybody. Because I think there's a
- 42:50relationship between the experience I have with the
- 42:53experience that the pet parent or pet guardian has and the pet.
- 42:57Like we're together in this experience.
- 43:00We're not isolated from each other and we're all going
- 43:03through this experience together because we have this energetic
- 43:06connection. Thank you so much for that.
- 43:09So good. And this really goes nicely
- 43:11into, I call it embracing your layers, all the pieces and parts
- 43:15of your life that happened to you.
- 43:17You have tapped into this. You have really done this.
- 43:21When do you what, at what point in your life do you think there
- 43:26was a realization about the importance of this for you?
- 43:29Was it pretty young? Is it something you grew into?
- 43:32Yeah. I think pretty young.
- 43:34I remember I just went to my 50th high school reunion.
- 43:38Wow, I know. And just last weekend, and, and
- 43:42it was interesting because I don't remember 99% of my high
- 43:47school life. Yeah, I, we walked the hallways
- 43:51of my high school and I'm thinking, I barely remember this
- 43:55place. I, I couldn't even picture
- 43:57myself in a classroom. I, I just had no memory of that.
- 44:00Sure. And I'm actually graduated a
- 44:03year earlier. I had all my requirements done
- 44:05and my junior year, so my senior year I really wasn't in school.
- 44:09And then I had friends that were paramedics and firefighters and
- 44:12so I became an EMT one at the age of 17.
- 44:15Oh wow, very good. Then.
- 44:16Oh, I had a candy business. I was always very driven.
- 44:19I had a candy business in high school and I would buy nickel
- 44:23candy at the store down the road and I would come back and I
- 44:27would sell it for $0.10. Such an entrepreneur.
- 44:30And if I had anything left before lunch, it was 3/4
- 44:33quarters. And I didn't hate hundreds of
- 44:35dollars. I never got caught.
- 44:37And a couple people try to kind of butt into my business and
- 44:41they got caught and they got suspended from school.
- 44:43So I was very lucky I never got caught.
- 44:45And so that was my first entrepreneurship was, you know,
- 44:49working at a candy business. Yeah.
- 44:51That's. Hilarious and then and then I
- 44:53worked for a veterinarian and when I was 17 I became a an EMT
- 44:581 and when I went to college I worked on an ambulance service.
- 45:01So always worked hard, always very entrepreneurship.
- 45:05I bought my first house when I was 18 and and I farmed up there
- 45:11as well. And so I think I always was very
- 45:16driven and I'm just, I just didn't take no for an answer and
- 45:21no was not my vocabulary. So if something sparked my
- 45:24interest, I went for it. Is that in the Nate?
- 45:29I don't know. I, I think I just maybe the way
- 45:31my dad raised me or own inner workings of who I was, but I
- 45:37was, I think I was always like that and very intuitive, but I
- 45:40didn't know what intuitive was. I didn't even know what the word
- 45:44metaphysical was until I was in my 30s.
- 45:46OK, go figure. Well, when when you, when you.
- 45:50Learned that, did that was that kind of an aha moment?
- 45:53Like, oh, it all makes sense now.
- 45:57So as I was becoming more energy medicine, more integrative, more
- 46:04bioregulatory medicine, that energetic component became more
- 46:09and more clear. And then, and I'm Jewish, so,
- 46:14but I wasn't very religious. I was more spiritual, I would
- 46:16say. But then as I started to study
- 46:19Kabbalah and some of the more spiritual aspects of Judaism, I
- 46:24was like, Oh my gosh, I do that every day.
- 46:29They're talking about the mystical segments of, of
- 46:33religion. And it was so empowering to know
- 46:36that those before me channeled and those before me understood
- 46:40numerology and intuition and connection and connection to
- 46:45source and communication. It was amazing.
- 46:48And so that gave me a lot of freedom to realize I'm not
- 46:53unique and I'm not the norm. Yeah, but it's OK.
- 46:58You know, it's OK to step out of your boundaries and step into
- 47:02your gifts. We all have this, Melissa.
- 47:04We all have the ability to connect to higher consciousness.
- 47:07We all have the ability to step into our intuition.
- 47:10It's just something that isn't taught in our common society.
- 47:14And I didn't have any family members that were like that, so
- 47:17didn't really have any models. But now that I'm aware of it now
- 47:21I actually seek the education and the training.
- 47:24So I'm more intentional with how I use the skills that we all
- 47:29have, but I'm just developing them or like a language, like I,
- 47:33I speak one good language, English, I speak Spanish, but
- 47:37it's kind of pitiful. But you know, you have to work
- 47:40at it, you have to learn it. And so I think learning how to
- 47:42use our intuition and tap into higher consciousness, we all
- 47:46have it. We just have to learn how to do
- 47:49it. And the more we practice, the
- 47:51better you get with it. Yeah, yeah.
- 47:53Thank you so much for that. So good.
- 47:55All right, you live out feel finding empowerment, embracing
- 47:59layers so well. Talk to me about how that
- 48:03impacts your relationship with yourself as well as your
- 48:06relationship with other people. Wow, that's a big question.
- 48:11So my relationship with myself, I'm very comfortable in my own
- 48:16skin. I own my strength and I own my
- 48:19weaknesses and so I'm very comfortable there.
- 48:23I was married for 23 years and chose to separate and divorce
- 48:30and my world opened up after I divorced and a wonderful person.
- 48:36But talk about opposites. You know, me being very
- 48:39positive, somebody else who didn't know how to find
- 48:42happiness and kept asking me how do you do it?
- 48:45And I can't do it for somebody else.
- 48:47You have to do it yourself. And so the freedom to be the
- 48:53best that I could be happened after I divorced because I
- 48:56didn't have to see, I didn't have to play small in order to
- 49:00not step on somebody else's ego. Yeah.
- 49:05So because the bigger I got, the smaller he felt, not because I
- 49:10was trying to 'cause that that was his issue, not mine, but but
- 49:15I was trying to not make it worse.
- 49:18But now that I've been on my own for, gosh, 1520 years, I can
- 49:23tell you I am fearless. Nah, I, I don't want to ever
- 49:30have to pull back. I don't ever want to have to
- 49:32play small. I would love to meet Mr.
- 49:35Amazing, but it's going to have to be somebody who isn't
- 49:39intimidated, who is as smart, is as successful or more in their
- 49:44own right. So that all don't have.
- 49:47And this is a big lesson for women.
- 49:48Gosh, I'm so glad you asked the question because I know so many
- 49:51women who don't step into their authenticity because they don't
- 49:58want to hurt somebody else. They don't want to make somebody
- 50:00else feel less than, but they will never fulfill who they
- 50:04really are. And it's OK to be your powerful
- 50:08portion if they have a problem with it.
- 50:10If your other half has a problem with that, it's not you.
- 50:14Now, provided you're not sitting there bullying them.
- 50:16And I mean, obviously. But if you're just being your
- 50:19authentic self and you're showing up in the world in the
- 50:22best way that you can be, I can't even tell you, Melissa,
- 50:25how wonderful that feeling is. I wake up every day with so much
- 50:28gratitude and so much joy and so much bliss because I don't have
- 50:32to be less than who I am. And it's a wonderful feeling.
- 50:37Yes, it would be amazing to meet Mr. Wonderful, but he just
- 50:43hasn't shown up yet, and that's OK too.
- 50:45Yeah, Yeah, 'cause you're thriving.
- 50:48Yeah, you're thriving. You're living unapologetically
- 50:51into your full self. Yes, I'm I think it's so
- 50:54important we get caught up so many times as women trying to
- 50:58fix or satisfy or meet or not exceed or not step on or not
- 51:04offend, and we've abandoned ourselves in the process.
- 51:08And if you're 100? Percent in any relationship that
- 51:11is asking you to do that, then you need to really take a look
- 51:14at where that relationship fits in your life.
- 51:17And if it does and I and I think sometimes so well fed yeah.
- 51:22I mean, I think sometimes we have to realize that there's
- 51:24some relationships that have a season and it doesn't mean
- 51:28anyone's failed if that relationship comes to some kind
- 51:32of an end. You just sometimes you just
- 51:34outgrow each other. You just don't fit anymore and
- 51:38we don't have to. Make like you said, that season
- 51:41was for a purpose. Now take that and grow right?
- 51:45Exactly, so good. Thank you so much for that.
- 51:48All right, as we wind down here and then I'm going to give you a
- 51:51chance. I want you to share more at the
- 51:53end before, after I you answer these questions about oh, that's
- 51:58possible in coming on your on what you offer.
- 52:01But before we do that, tell me 5 activities that nourish you.
- 52:07Gardening, exercise, cooking, serving others, and veterinary
- 52:19medicine. Yeah, yeah.
- 52:21All right. And five words on how you want
- 52:23to feel the next six months. How I want to feel in the next 6
- 52:27months. Joyful, vibrant, energetic,
- 52:37grateful and inspirational all. Right.
- 52:47OK, A doctor, Marlene Siegel, you, there's only one of you in
- 52:50the world and there's really only one of you that offers vet
- 52:55services and and help the way that you do.
- 53:00Obviously not everyone can come to you where you are, but talk
- 53:04to me about what you have available on your platform
- 53:07online, what people can tap into even if they're far.
- 53:11Away from you. So we do have telemedicine
- 53:15available thanks to COVID as of the loss in Florida have
- 53:19changed. And so we can do telemedicine
- 53:21with some restrictions. I can do a lot.
- 53:24If somebody takes the empowered pet parent course, which is a
- 53:27requirement in order to establish our client patient
- 53:31relationship, then I can be their health coach.
- 53:35And then if it is something more complex, they've already taken
- 53:39the empowered pet parent course. We're already on the same page.
- 53:41We're moving forward. If it's something more complex,
- 53:45I can always work with their veterinarian to take it to the
- 53:48next level. But I'm finding that either
- 53:51veterinarians are uncomfortable, they don't like their cheese to
- 53:55be moved, and so it's harder to find somebody who is willing to
- 53:59step out-of-the-box. And it's also going to be
- 54:01challenging because they may not have the tools of the things
- 54:05that I do. So I think it's ironic, not a
- 54:09surprise at all that a majority of the tools that I use in my
- 54:14practice are available for home purchase.
- 54:17Now, that's not saying that every pet parent's going to go
- 54:19out and spend $100,000 on technology, but I think it's
- 54:23interesting that almost every single tool I have, there's a
- 54:28home version of it and that. Interesting.
- 54:30Is very interesting, yeah. You were.
- 54:32You were. Go ahead.
- 54:34Go ahead I was going to say that I'm hoping by next year to open
- 54:38our spas family Wellness centers.
- 54:40It's S apostrophe PAWSI was going to open right before COVID
- 54:46hit and then when COVID hit put the brakes on everything.
- 54:49You know, I didn't know if we were going to be on FEMA camps.
- 54:51We had no idea what kind of chaos was happening in the
- 54:54world, but we haven't been floated yet.
- 54:57So I we're back on track to get our facilities up and open and
- 55:01then these are going to be franchises where all the things
- 55:05that they do to detox the pets and their parents, they can go
- 55:08in with the pets will be now available as a franchise
- 55:12worldwide. So that is probably the pinnacle
- 55:16of my achievements because now I'm going to be leaving
- 55:19something for the world again. The problem I've had is that I
- 55:23can talk to people about how to detox, but if they don't have
- 55:26the technology to do it, it makes it really challenging.
- 55:29But I have a home course, I'm doing lymphatic therapy that
- 55:35requires a small little handheld stone.
- 55:37It's easy. I have a fascia decompression
- 55:40course that requires your hands and of course the knowledge.
- 55:44And then the empowering pet parent course.
- 55:46There's many more courses that we have that we're getting ready
- 55:49to release. But the whole point is to
- 55:51educate people so that they can make better decisions, not
- 55:56trying to turn people into their own doctor or need somebody to
- 55:59guide you. And we don't want to have people
- 56:01take any tool that we are using and use it incorrectly.
- 56:05Sure, that can cause harm. So it's working with us and we
- 56:09give you the guidance to help you understand how to improve
- 56:13your pet's life for not only longevity, but for quality of
- 56:17life. Yeah, yeah.
- 56:19Oh, thank you so much for that. And what's that?
- 56:21What is your website? Where can people find more
- 56:23information about this? The hub of everything me is
- 56:28www.drlikeindoctormarlenesiegel.com so you just have to spell my
- 56:34name right. Perfect.
- 56:35OK. And that will be on our website
- 56:37at embracinglayers.com on the resources page.
- 56:39So you can just copy and paste it.
- 56:40You don't even have to remember worrying about the spelling.
- 56:43But thank you so much for sharing that.
- 56:45But I could talk to you forever. I think you're just one of the
- 56:48most fascinating people I've ever met.
- 56:50I love having you here today. I appreciate you taking the time
- 56:54to join me. What's one last thought you'd
- 56:57like to leave with our listeners today?
- 57:01Take your power back, Yeah, The power to do everything is within
- 57:08you, and you just have to take it back.
- 57:11And that means finding education, surrounding yourself
- 57:16with your tribe. And your tribe are the people
- 57:20that are like minded because they're going to support you,
- 57:23they're going to elevate you, they're going to hold space for
- 57:26you. And the others are the contrast.
- 57:30Nothing wrong with them. They're just in a different
- 57:32place. Just like there's is black
- 57:35better than white? No, they're just different,
- 57:38right? Is hot versus cold is 1 better
- 57:40or not? Depends on the circumstances,
- 57:42right? So it's about aligning with your
- 57:47higher consciousness and the people who will help you to
- 57:52continue to grow and thrive. Yeah, so good.
- 57:55Such a great way to wrap this up.
- 57:57Thank you again for being with me today.
