- 0:27[SPEAKER_03]: Welcome back to another episode of the built-to-grow podcast.
- 0:30[SPEAKER_03]: My name is Randy Axton.
- 0:30[SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to be your host today, joined by Mr. Zek Columbia.
- 0:34[SPEAKER_03]: I'm back.
- 0:34[SPEAKER_03]: He is back in the saddle.
- 0:37[SPEAKER_03]: What are we talking about today, Zach?
- 0:39[SPEAKER_02]: We are talking about, really, where are you based off of?
- 0:46[SPEAKER_02]: What are we talking about today?
- 0:48[SPEAKER_02]: We're talking about based off of where you're at in your business, what you should be focusing on.
- 0:53[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 0:54[SPEAKER_02]: If you would imagine, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind, in your mind,
- 1:12[SPEAKER_02]: They're losing money, the owners not paying themselves.
- 1:15[SPEAKER_02]: And at this level, your goal is really where you're monthly recurring revenue exceeds your base operating expenses.
- 1:25[SPEAKER_02]: Perfect.
- 1:26[SPEAKER_02]: As the owner of the business, you
- 1:30[SPEAKER_02]: aren't quite a true business owner yet.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_02]: You are an operator.
- 1:34[SPEAKER_02]: You're self-employed.
- 1:35[SPEAKER_02]: You own a job.
- 1:36[SPEAKER_02]: Yep.
- 1:36[SPEAKER_02]: Essentially, if you're not there, the business doesn't run without you.
- 1:42[SPEAKER_02]: So kind of level one is, well, what systems do we need to put in place, more structure, framework?
- 1:49[SPEAKER_02]: Do we need to put in place in order for us to make sure that every month without fail, our recurring revenue is
- 2:00[SPEAKER_02]: and then some.
- 2:02[SPEAKER_02]: The next level is really the scale level.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_02]: So this is where you become more of that true business owner and you own systems within the business, right?
- 2:17[SPEAKER_02]: You're developing systems.
- 2:18[SPEAKER_02]: You're setting yourself up to scale and then the third is really where you own an asset.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_02]: You're more of an investor.
- 2:31[SPEAKER_02]: You don't have to be involved unless you want to be sure my choice and and if you wanted to sell you could sell as with selling an asset not a business.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_02]: So that's right.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_02]: And you can sell it for a pretty significant multiple, because you're not involved or tied to the day-to-day operations.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's what you hear like a turnkey operation, right?
- 2:55[SPEAKER_03]: Like some kind of key operation.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_03]: They're buying a business as operational without them, the new buyer, having to step in and fulfill a role in the business.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and so on the last episode, we talked about, you know, Jim owner's being very reactive.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_02]: Sometimes it's sort of proactive.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_02]: You can have
- 3:12[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we know this business.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_02]: It's an infinity sign.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_02]: It's good.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_02]: It's bad.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_02]: It's good.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_02]: It's bad.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_02]: It goes on waves.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_02]: And in a lot of times, you can get caught in this short-term thinking of like, well, this month and next month, and you can't really see beyond that.
- 3:31[SPEAKER_02]: Well, what about like a five-year plan, a seven-year plan, a 10-year plan, is really what we're talking about here?
- 3:36[SPEAKER_02]: So if you are, which most gyms are gonna fall into that, you know, first level, where it's like, hey, my goal is just to make sure that every single month.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_02]: I'm profitable.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_02]: I'm in the black.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_02]: But then it's becomes okay.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_02]: Well, what does that future trajectory look like?
- 3:57[SPEAKER_02]: Because right now, you open to Jim, you might love being in the Jim every day.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_02]: But at some point, you might want to sell that.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_02]: Sure.
- 4:07[SPEAKER_02]: You might want to build, you know, wealth for your family, and you might want to be able to go ahead and exit the business and take that money and go invest in other things or retire or whatever.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_03]: I think that's important to mention now, you like, at this point in the conversation, right?
- 4:27[SPEAKER_03]: at this first phase, right, where your goal is still to become profitable, you should have the end goal in the site.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_03]: You should have an understanding of why you created the business in the first place, right?
- 4:40[SPEAKER_03]: You know, we always kind of joke.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_03]: There's a difference between the the hobbyists and the business owner or the person who takes this will intrigue it like a business, right?
- 4:48[SPEAKER_03]: The outcomes
- 4:50[SPEAKER_03]: are in alignment with the vision that they have for it, right?
- 4:53[SPEAKER_03]: Most gym owners I would would say aren't just opening up a gym because it's a place for them to go work out and hang out with friends.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_03]: You know what I mean?
- 5:00[SPEAKER_03]: Like it's a lot of risk and a lot of it's a very expensive start to just go have that for yourself, right?
- 5:08[SPEAKER_03]: But then once they do that they find themselves kind of in that position.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_03]: You know what I mean?
- 5:13[SPEAKER_03]: Where
- 5:14[SPEAKER_03]: They don't know what to do, what levers to pull, what the next goal or focus should be on.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_03]: And breaking it down, I think that this is important to while you identify where you are in these phases, also have in mind that end goal in sight.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_03]: Right?
- 5:32[SPEAKER_03]: Do you want to sell the business?
- 5:34[SPEAKER_03]: Or are you building a business that will be an asset that's sellable?
- 5:38[SPEAKER_03]: or are you building something that can create cash flow and you keep it in your portfolio and you don't have to go to work and show up every single day.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_03]: But let's write forward.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_03]: If you're listening to this podcast, I would say it's fairly safe to assume that you treat this like a business and you have one of those goals in mind.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_03]: And if you don't, this is your opportunity to take a look and make that decision for yourself because how you go about that business from this point forward is gonna be dictated through that lens.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, absolutely.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_02]: It's so critical for a gemowner to recognize what phase they're in and to focus on the deliverables of that specific phase.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_02]: Good point.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_02]: This is, and the reason we would kind of compare this or use the analogy of a pyramid is because like,
- 6:31[SPEAKER_02]: You got to have that foundation in place and each tier builds off of the the other.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_02]: And without it, um, you know, things are just going to come crashing down and we see that so often in our industry, because those face it like there's so many gurus out there and they'll sell you something and it's like,
- 6:50[SPEAKER_02]: Well, how do you know that that's the thing that you should be focusing on right now today in your business to accomplish whatever the goal is for where you're currently at?
- 7:04[SPEAKER_02]: And so, you know, step one, level one is if we're talking about like our recurring revenue exceeding our base operating expenses,
- 7:15[SPEAKER_02]: Well, what does that mean?
- 7:16[SPEAKER_02]: It means really like if you compare it to tech, MVP, minimal viable product.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_02]: So instead of us going, well, I'm gonna take, I'm gonna build all the systems and all the structure, and I'm gonna put all these things in place.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, well, what is the minimal things framework that I need to do
- 7:42[SPEAKER_02]: that I can do as fast as possible, at speed to ensure that I'm profitable in my business.
- 7:51[SPEAKER_02]: Because if you're not profitable, now we're gonna create a bunch of issues for ourselves.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_02]: So instead of us jumping to level two or to level three and trying to pick these nuggets out of things, oh, I could take that and adopt it.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_02]: It worked for these guys over there, or, you know, where they told me it worked,
- 8:09[SPEAKER_02]: That's like the, that's like the weight loss friend whose like, hey, you just need to, you know, do water fasting or you know, no, no, no, the solution is intermittent fat.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_02]: No, it's ketogenic.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_02]: Like, and it, oh, it's not like for my friend and we know, and hey, there's a lot of factors that go into like, what's going to work for each individual.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_02]: in this moment, you know, so that's, and that's one of the reasons why we have our coaching programs structured the way that they're structured, and when we start with somebody we do, you know, you do like a decade in a day call, and we're figuring out, okay, like, what is the minimal things that we need to do to make sure that you are profitable?
- 9:05[SPEAKER_02]: Then we can go back and we can build upon those phases.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_02]: So it's like, let's get this working.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_02]: Yep.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_02]: Let's make sure that we're successful here.
- 9:18[SPEAKER_02]: It's sustainable.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_02]: Now let's go and create the ability for the business to scale.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_02]: Then once you have that, then we have our iron circle, which is really like next level, thinking, how do I turn this into an asset for myself that's going to generate cash flow, income, long-term sustainable wealth, and all those things?
- 9:44[SPEAKER_02]: So, you know, some gyms already have the level one.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_02]: They're already profitable.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_02]: many aren't, but some are and it's like, okay, well, then we just need to go build upon that.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_02]: So there's different currencies at each level, right?
- 10:08[SPEAKER_02]: So like level one,
- 10:10[SPEAKER_02]: is your the currency is money like that you know you you are try of course you get into this industry because you want to make a difference you want to help people you're passionate about fitness but at the end of the day like you got to pay your bills to the extent of value the defense place right there paying you for that result and um and I've been in this industry for a long time and I know trained you know most trainers do love money and uh and so
- 10:36[SPEAKER_02]: Money is really the currency at stage one.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_02]: At stage two, your currency becomes time.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_02]: It's
- 10:46[SPEAKER_02]: How can I replicate myself across multiple coaches so that they're doing the delivery?
- 10:54[SPEAKER_02]: And I am able to then focus on the business, more instead of in the business, unless of an operator, more of an owner, and I can create the ability to scale.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_02]: And then when you get to the top, it's freedom, right?
- 11:09[SPEAKER_02]: I think that's the currency is freedom.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_02]: I can go take a trip if I want to.
- 11:15[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I'm on here today, because Tim's out of town, because he just up and decided, like, yeah, I'm gonna go take my daughter to this concert.
- 11:22[SPEAKER_02]: Boy band concert, you know?
- 11:24[SPEAKER_02]: You know, you know, like, you guys have an amazing time, not.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sure he was with the family, but at that level, you can just go and do that.
- 11:38[SPEAKER_02]: And then, and a lot of Jim owners too, and just can't even see themselves being able, like they can't even comprehend that, I was talking to Tim last, or late last week,
- 11:53[SPEAKER_02]: And he was like, dude, you have more freedom than almost all the jim owners that we know.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_02]: Like the majority of jim owners.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_02]: He's like, you can just up and go like, because we have the systems and the structures in place.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_02]: So not only does Tim have that freedom, but as the director, I have that freedom, and that we've got the staff underneath, and it's like, if anything happens,
- 12:20[SPEAKER_02]: I lose that freedom, but Tim doesn't lose the inspiration in a way.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, there's insulation.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_03]: And there's something that you're speaking to.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_03]: It's like leverage, right?
- 12:30[SPEAKER_03]: You know, money gives you so much, you can leverage money to get to a certain point.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_03]: But if you don't have the systems for the next scaling phase, right?
- 12:37[SPEAKER_03]: You need to leverage your staff structure.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_03]: Like you said, you need to replicate yourself and put people in the sea to run those systems.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_03]: to then be able to provide that scale.
- 12:48[SPEAKER_03]: One of the important things here to remember is like, you know, you as the owner of the business have the choice of doing any of those, but have the choice.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_03]: But you exactly, right?
- 12:57[SPEAKER_03]: It's a choice, not a requirement, right?
- 12:59[SPEAKER_03]: And, you know, just to be clear with, you know, I've been listening,
- 13:04[SPEAKER_03]: When we say, you know, you're building a business, like you should treat it like a business, if you get to a point where you have that scalability and ultimately you can get to that point where you have an asset, you have ultimate choice on where and what you want to do with that business.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_03]: If at all, and I don't think there is a right or wrong answer for how you want to go about your business at that level, but everybody should still focus on getting to that level for, you know,
- 13:31[SPEAKER_03]: Um, and I think that Jim owner sell themselves short quite often and find themselves stuck in deliverable because they're afraid to leverage a team, um, or create the systems that the team operates, you know, on a day-to-day basis, we get stuck in that cyclical.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_03]: I got to be the guy, well, or my client's coach, you know, they want to work with me type of thing.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_03]: That is, that is, in my opinion, it's a little bit of a small frame thought, you know, you mean when it comes to, even if you got into this business to help change lives, how many more lives can you change if you have the ability to go, maybe, you reach that point, we have an asset, you know, do you open another location, do you leverage that freedom into another business or idea or something like that, right?
- 14:17[SPEAKER_03]: but I think you can have both.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_03]: You can make a big impact while also serving yourself and your family along the way.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_03]: You can open it.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_02]: You can open a count of worms here because it is much easier to do the task yourself than to train people.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_02]: Sure, to do the task.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_02]: Not only is if you take pride in
- 14:46[SPEAKER_02]: you're working in your brand and all that, it's even harder, emotionally.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_02]: So not only do you have to have the skill set to then go and teach the coach, develop the coach to deliver quality product, but then,
- 15:09[SPEAKER_02]: they're never going to do it the way, you know, exactly the way that you do it or you're probably never going to feel as though they can do it better with the exception of like some special individuals.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_02]: And so, you know, you might look out and you might get that one coach where you're like, wow, that coach is better than me.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_02]: We've had that numerous times here, but
- 15:34[SPEAKER_02]: everybody's got strengths and weaknesses and that's what makes the world go around people are different and so like you might as the gym owner might have a you know maybe technically you're better but you know you might hire a coach that is a little bit more outgoing or is better at connecting with the clients or maybe it's the opposite and it's like well I hired this coach and they're super technical
- 15:57[SPEAKER_02]: But I got to train them up on the, you know, the soft moves, the soft skills, the emotional intelligence side of things and then it's like, well, do you is the gym owner have the ability to do that.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_02]: Lindsay in our in our iron circle, she's she has the, you know, the leadership circle.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_02]: So she's coaching the gym owners and the staff separately on on these things on these skills and these abilities ability to train the staff.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_02]: But.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_02]: Don't only do you as a business owner have to develop the coach, but you yourself have to develop the skill to develop the coach.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_02]: Which is why I say, hey, it's much easier for you to just go do the delivery yourself.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_02]: Go do the task yourself.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_02]: But that's where the systems come in place.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_02]: And that's why you have to have certain things developed and rock solid before you build upon it because if you don't, then you get, you find yourself just things crumble and you find something.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it didn't suck back then.
- 17:07[SPEAKER_03]: You mentioned through that.
- 17:09[SPEAKER_03]: I was listening as I was listening.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_03]: You kind of identify that when those, it's not the same things or skill sets from phase one to phase two and phase two to phase three, right?
- 17:21[SPEAKER_03]: And so as you, you the gym owner listening.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_03]: When you, when you focus on getting that just solidifying that foundation, right?
- 17:31[SPEAKER_03]: Getting the delivery, having that minimal viable product, right?
- 17:34[SPEAKER_03]: A lot of that work and skill set is the delivery of the product is the programming, the training, being able to just facilitate that.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_03]: Then when you reach that next phase, it's leadership skills, right?
- 17:46[SPEAKER_03]: It's the ability to duplicate yourself or be able to, like you said, train yourself in a way that you now know you could lead a team as opposed to just being the one to pick up and do the work, right?
- 17:57[SPEAKER_03]: And then obviously the leverage that comes with the business as an asset.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_03]: You've got a whole different skill set, right?
- 18:03[SPEAKER_03]: That could be tax strategy.
- 18:05[SPEAKER_03]: It could be a million different things when it comes, you know, what are we going to do with the revenue and the money and that type of thing?
- 18:11[SPEAKER_03]: They go hand in hand and I think that Jim owners also get confused on what they should be focused on each of those phases, right?
- 18:21[SPEAKER_03]: You know, if you find yourself where you're trying to scale,
- 18:24[SPEAKER_03]: don't run back and don't go pick up all those extra sessions because you're worried about the capital coming in.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_03]: That's a rat race.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_03]: You're always going to be the guy that's you're constantly putting yourself back in the seat, doing the work without developing the team that can actually carry the torch forward type of thing.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_03]: And I think that that's a big takeaway thing for a lot of gym owners is being able to identify where you are, what is the needs and what I should work us work on right now, what are the skill sets needed at this phase.
- 18:51[SPEAKER_03]: And then as you progress,
- 18:54[SPEAKER_03]: Um, continue your level of education and your understanding of what's needed to continue that path forward.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_03]: And it's not, it's not the same things that got you here that's going to get you where you need to go type of thing, you know?
- 19:07[SPEAKER_02]: Well, and that's why that's why it's challenging, like you, so if we're talking about a coach, a staff member, like I could hire a coach.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_02]: I could develop that coach.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_02]: Let's say they're mediocre, right?
- 19:23[SPEAKER_02]: They come in.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_02]: I like the kid, they've got good heart and there's potential there.
- 19:29[SPEAKER_02]: And I work really hard to coach that coach up to standard.
- 19:37[SPEAKER_02]: Now they've been with me for two years.
- 19:40[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm like, all right, I'm gonna have you take over sales.
- 19:45[SPEAKER_02]: Well, they're great coach, but they're not, I didn't train them in sales.
- 19:48[SPEAKER_02]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
- 20:10[SPEAKER_02]: But the same exact thing exists for you as the gym owner, at every single level of the business.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_02]: So, yeah, you come in and you're like, man, I'm a great coach, I'm gonna open a gym.
- 20:26[SPEAKER_02]: And now, instead of just coaching,
- 20:29[SPEAKER_02]: You're, there's this gap there of like, well, I gotta learn how to do the sales.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_02]: I gotta learn how to do the marketing.
- 20:34[SPEAKER_02]: I gotta learn how to do the automation and the legal and and now you have skin in the game.
- 20:43[SPEAKER_02]: A lot of skin in the game.
- 20:44[SPEAKER_02]: So like, the learning curves pretty steep.
- 20:46[SPEAKER_02]: Like you better learn to do those things really quickly, but who's coaching you to do those things?
- 20:52[SPEAKER_02]: That's good point.
- 20:53[SPEAKER_02]: Who's the one?
- 20:55[SPEAKER_02]: that's highlighting to you, hey, going back to our pyramid.
- 20:59[SPEAKER_02]: Here's where you're at.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_02]: Here's what you need to focus on right now.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_02]: Let's not waste any time.
- 21:06[SPEAKER_02]: Fix this, fix this, fix this.
- 21:08[SPEAKER_02]: Once you're done, then the things will be in place for us to progress to the next tier.
- 21:14[SPEAKER_02]: Then we can teach you the next level.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_02]: Then you can teach, and you can continue to level up.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_02]: And so the same way that you wouldn't expect that coach, well, maybe you would, but now that I'm saying it, you won't.
- 21:27[SPEAKER_02]: You can't expect that coach just
- 21:31[SPEAKER_02]: Well, just because you started a gym, you can't expect yourself to be phenomenal at running a business without somebody developing you to be great at running a business.
- 21:50[SPEAKER_02]: Nobody starts that way, that's just, you know, we're all here, we're all going, and so what you have to do is you have to find the person, right, or the people, or the group,
- 22:01[SPEAKER_02]: that has already gone through that and been through the trials and the tribulation and they develop the path and it's like, okay, well, now just teach me and, you know, help me get there faster and a lot of the expenses, right?
- 22:18[SPEAKER_02]: So.
- 22:18[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I think that's awesome, and I think the biggest thing is right, being able to identify what your immediate need for the business is, phase wise, and then being able to pair that with the skill sets that support, you know, progressing through that phase and being able to step into the next one.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_03]: Um, obviously this is, you know, these are the concepts that we coach to in our coaching programs all the way up through to the iron circle.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_03]: Um, but part of it is the identification, you know what I mean?
- 22:46[SPEAKER_03]: And to your point being able to bring somebody in that that has created a level of success that you aspire to have.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_03]: So I'll just it like soft plug there for for our springboard program, but if you need help with that, there's a link in the show notes.
- 22:59[SPEAKER_03]: That's what we do.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_03]: Starting with the identification, right?
- 23:03[SPEAKER_03]: Where is your business?
- 23:04[SPEAKER_03]: What is the immediate needs?
- 23:06[SPEAKER_03]: Can we build a scalable business on the foundation that you've, you know, started to create and then go from there, right?
- 23:13[SPEAKER_03]: And so.
- 23:14[SPEAKER_03]: Anything else you want to.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_03]: Well, just.
- 23:18[SPEAKER_02]: plug iron circle too because maybe you do have the systems that are allowing you to scale, but you don't know how to turn that into indestructible wealth, or you're not sure what the next step is.
- 23:35[SPEAKER_02]: we have a lot of gems that we help that we'll, they'll get all this time, right?
- 23:41[SPEAKER_02]: Like, they'll implement the systems and they're at the scale phase and it's like, wow, my currency is time.
- 23:49[SPEAKER_02]: and they're right at like the freedom threshold and like I don't know what to do with this freedom.
- 23:55[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know what to do with this time that I just bought back.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_02]: And so if you're in that seat, right?
- 24:01[SPEAKER_02]: And like you're just a little bit higher level or I shouldn't even say higher level it further along in the process.
- 24:07[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, well, if you don't know what's next, then, you know, we can help you with that.
- 24:12[SPEAKER_03]: There you go.
- 24:14[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, awesome.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_03]: Awesome.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_03]: We'll take a look at your business.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_03]: Obviously, I identify where you are in the three phases that we discussed here, identify the needs of the business in order to get to that next phase and for yourself, right?
- 24:26[SPEAKER_03]: What are the skillsets that you need to develop yourself in order to be able to not only reach the next phase, but to be able to bring your team along with it, to be able to lead them to make them, you know, dangerous in their positions, so that ultimately
- 24:43[SPEAKER_03]: because that should be the goal.
- 24:45[SPEAKER_03]: It's not sure to absolutely be the goal in with that being said at any point.
- 24:49[SPEAKER_03]: You could always walk in and train this session.
- 24:51[SPEAKER_03]: You could always shake hands and kiss baby type of thing, you know what I mean?
- 24:55[SPEAKER_03]: Don't I think there's a stigma around some of it, right?
- 24:59[SPEAKER_03]: Where it becomes impersonal or you're so removed that you lose touch of the the reason you got started.
- 25:06[SPEAKER_03]: But I think that that's a when you're in that position, you realize how much more opportunity you have with that.
- 25:11[SPEAKER_03]: it's not a requirement every single day.
- 25:13[SPEAKER_03]: It's a choice.
- 25:14[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 25:14[SPEAKER_03]: And so give me with that being said, though, look at your own business, define where you know where you're at, where you need to go, and what it's going to take to get there.
- 25:24[SPEAKER_03]: And that's it for this episode.
- 25:27[SPEAKER_03]: We'll see you in the next episode.
