- 1:49[SPEAKER_11]: We're going down, okay, and Luke is yelling Timber.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_03]: Don't say it.
- 1:55[SPEAKER_03]: Don't say it.
- 1:56[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
- 1:56[SPEAKER_11]: You're fine.
- 1:57[SPEAKER_11]: You know it's hard not to say it.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_11]: I understand you don't want to say it, okay?
- 2:03[SPEAKER_11]: Well, do you guys want to hear about my weekend?
- 2:04[SPEAKER_11]: But you're living in it.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_11]: Did you go?
- 2:07[SPEAKER_11]: Did you go to the, was there a concert?
- 2:09[SPEAKER_11]: I went to ACDC.
- 2:11[SPEAKER_11]: Shut your mouth.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, didn't you backstage passes?
- 2:14[SPEAKER_02]: So I thought I was going to have backstage passes.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_02]: Did not.
- 2:17[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, the reason I thought that was that Mike, my dad has gotten backstage passes today.
- 2:21[SPEAKER_02]: ACDC is constant before.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_02]: But my, um, my cousin's godfather is Stevie Young's.
- 2:29[SPEAKER_02]: uh... control jirbel's babysitter yet guitar tech so he uh... you know he's in the band basically so uh... basically uh... that's a lot of that's not but he's not like it's a text get too big of a head but uh... yeah i mean he's it's pretty cool he came out he gave us a good uh... guitar picks from uh... like a cdc's hard pick but not backstage pass knock the backstage pass apparently covid fucked it up
- 2:56[SPEAKER_03]: And are you a huge ACDC?
- 3:00[SPEAKER_11]: I love ACDC.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_11]: So do I. Yeah, I'm a big fan.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_11]: I don't think I've ever seen them live, though, of you.
- 3:06[SPEAKER_03]: I haven't seen them live, but we've done this a couple of times where we watch video of them at a recent show.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_03]: And they're killing it.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_03]: Still, killing it.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_03]: When you start out with a voice like that,
- 3:21[SPEAKER_11]: Well, I think because you're talking about it in our phone listens to us, it'll suggest things in the feed and after you told me that story the other day, sure enough, the next day in ACDC clip pops up in my Instagram feed.
- 3:34[SPEAKER_11]: And ironically, it was Axel Rose covering for the lead singer because he'd blown out his voice singing that.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_11]: because it's it's it's still the crazy voice like that dude they sound exactly like doing the album that it's insane no way it's insane and same guys and yes and as young as 71 and he's he has not slowed down at all it's crazy it's I read somewhere that he went deaf and they were they were unsure if he was going to be able to sing again I'm not kidding
- 4:00[SPEAKER_02]: I wouldn't, well, Angus Young is a Tarist.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and that wouldn't be surprised if he, he was deaf.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_02]: Um, the, the singer's name is, um, Brian Shonson.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_02]: And he is still the same voice as ever.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_02]: It's crazy.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_11]: No, no, no help on you.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_02]: I just got it, she's a nuts voice.
- 4:15[SPEAKER_02]: It's a good impression.
- 4:16[SPEAKER_02]: Well, like, it's off the cuff, obviously.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, at the end, they have like, canons going off, they fireworks going off.
- 4:24[SPEAKER_02]: It's like,
- 4:25[SPEAKER_11]: They see DC fucks dude.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, they've always fucked those guys rock I just didn't know if they were doing it.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, I read He was thinking they get the guitars to the singer it was going deaf and they had a cancel a tour and then that clip that pops up for me was Axel Rose stepping in for him and I brought it clear.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_11]: They have kind of a kind of a similar voice, so it's sound a pretty fucking good
- 4:48[SPEAKER_11]: Um, but yeah, I watched after that because it was a guns and roses video that popped up.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_11]: Remember when I, I said a few years ago, they were going on tour and I was like, man, do you go and see them now or do you just want to live in the memory of them?
- 5:00[SPEAKER_11]: No, you don't, I don't, I don't want to, I don't want to see them now.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_03]: Oh.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_11]: I don't want to see guns and roses now.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_11]: Kind of made me sad.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_11]: Kind of made me sad.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_11]: Because you have this image of them from back in the day where he's running up and down the stage and it's just pure madness.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_11]: you know, they're in their 60s now and it's tough.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_11]: It's tough.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_11]: Like the Rolling Stone's have a new album out.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_03]: Right.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_11]: Mick Jagger's doing press kind of everywhere.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_11]: A lot of podcasts by the way.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_11]: He was on Conan O'Brien this morning.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_11]: And great interview.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_11]: Like watching all of his interviews, every single one of them is unique and different.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_11]: And he's got crazy stories for all of them.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_11]: And yeah, I mean, there was some shockers that were getting pulled out of these interviews.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_11]: Because a lot of these cities at the Stone's Tour and they'll kind of pull somebody from the opening band or somebody local and bring them up on stage.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_11]: The clip that they showed on one of these shows I forget which one it was, was he brought Eddie Vetter up on stage to sing Angie.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_11]: and they split back and forth and I was like, yeah, it was good, it was really good, but I don't think I've seen ACDC do any of these.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so you were right about Axel Rose stepped in as leads lead vocalist for ACDC in 2016.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_02]: Just for that tour because Brian Jobs did the whole tour?
- 6:25[SPEAKER_02]: Holy shit.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_03]: It was the last half or something.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_02]: Um, yeah, because Brian Johnson was facing total hearing loss.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_02]: That's it.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_02]: So we got it back, I guess.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_02]: Right?
- 6:38[SPEAKER_02]: He, well, he's singing now.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_02]: So I guess so.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_02]: F***.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_03]: Figure it it out.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe you got a coach.
- 6:43[SPEAKER_03]: A co-cular.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe you got a robot here.
- 6:47[SPEAKER_02]: Did he have metal ears during the show?
- 6:48[SPEAKER_03]: Killer.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I got to say he had metal ears.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_02]: In fact, his whole face was metal.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, it was just a robot face.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_11]: That's so funny.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_03]: Metal literally.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_11]: It really is.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_11]: The whole show was metal.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, the whole show was metal.
- 7:01[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_11]: Like, wait, they didn't have the thunder lightning here.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_11]: You know, could have gotten electrocuted.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we're doing a real bad.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_11]: Could have gotten electrocuted.
- 7:08[SPEAKER_02]: Sure.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_11]: Fuck, dude, before we get into this time cruise story, I saw an awesome electrocution video last night.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_11]: Barely unaccident.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_11]: Barely unfucking accident.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_03]: Ask her, you sure it's real.
- 7:20[SPEAKER_11]: Positive.
- 7:20[SPEAKER_11]: Okay.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_11]: Because it was.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_03]: It was.
- 7:25[SPEAKER_11]: It was a black dude isn't going to do it.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_11]: But there was a black dude who tried to open up an ATM machine with a crowbar.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_11]: He hit the wiring and just.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_11]: It like, just got electrocuted and died.
- 7:40[SPEAKER_11]: And the reason why the story popped up in the feed was yesterday, apparently his family sued the bank for having equipment inside the ATM that would kill their son.
- 7:51[SPEAKER_11]: And the judge was like, hey, this was a robbery.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_11]: So no, you can't sue the fucking bank for your fucking robber son dying.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_11]: And they tossed the case yesterday.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_11]: If you put, if you put in there, there's a picture of him getting electrocuted right when he jams in the machine.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_03]: Crazier cases and lawsuits have gone through.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, on crime corner, if you guys have ever done the ones where the robbers break in and then they get injured, like they fall through a ceiling or fall down the stairs and then they end up soon in the house.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_03]: No, we haven't done that.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_11]: There is right there.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, that fart picture in the fart left.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_11]: That was right.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_11]: That was the moment that Thunders struck.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_03]: Sorry, he was trying, he was trying, he was stealing money from him.
- 8:37[SPEAKER_11]: Yep, so he's jamming the crowbar into the ATM machine and he got past the little crevasse there and into the wiring.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_11]: He went up, dude, and that motherfucker died right inside the ATM, and then the family sued the bank.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_11]: That's really cool.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_11]: You killed our side, and we're stealing money, yeah.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_11]: He went this was his first robbery ever.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_11]: I'm not kidding.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_11]: They used that defense as well.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_02]: Really?
- 9:03[SPEAKER_02]: His first robbery wasn't it?
- 9:05[SPEAKER_02]: Was that kind of weird to me, but booby trapping is illegal?
- 9:08[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, so there is a couple of cases we could do about man traps.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_03]: There's a couple of cases from way back in the day that set precedent for like there was this house in the sort of middle of nowhere this family owned and people just kept breaking in and stealing stuff.
- 9:27[SPEAKER_03]: They didn't live there, but they did like security security cameras locked it back up, all these things and people kept breaking into this house.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, I remember this.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you know, sleeping still, it was a really long time ago, and the dude, the husband was like, dude, fuck this and set essentially a booby trap for when you open up the door to the bedroom, it, you know, there's a rifle there, like an old like a shotgun, and it, if you open it, pulls the trigger and shoots you.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, that's great.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_03]: Now, they got in trouble for it.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_11]: You're kidding.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_03]: Because it's a, it's called a man trap, basically like a man trap law or whatever.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_03]: Where you, you know, there has to be a due process for a burglar and not.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_03]: you know when they're going in there to deal something they're unarmed right so the self defense if you're not in the room doesn't play okay unfortunately um and there was a couple other cases like that but the people do time is they do type of cutting some of setting man traps
- 10:40[SPEAKER_02]: This is just what happens when you type it.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_03]: When you type in man, trap by me, my gosh.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, top comes up, you know.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_11]: Putting a bear trap in your living room would be awesome.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_03]: Now that's injuring something like a trap is fine, but what they mean by man trap is that somebody opens a door tries to steal something and a gun goes off and kills them.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_05]: I love it.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_03]: I love it too.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_03]: A lot of people obviously were on the side of the,
- 11:10[SPEAKER_03]: homeowner the homeowner or business owner would have 100 percent.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_11]: I'm on the side of this bank too.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_11]: Like hey, sorry about it, bro.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, yeah, that's what should happen.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_03]: Um, we just don't need you on the surface.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_03]: Unfortunately, kind of like with the Scott Peterson, when you get into the ins and outs and the board of law.
- 11:29[SPEAKER_03]: No.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_03]: stuff kind of just goes haywire, huh?
- 11:33[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, no, no, no, no.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_11]: Anyway, there's another doc about Scott Peterson coming out this week.
- 11:38[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, new evidence.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_11]: There's always new evidence.
- 11:41[SPEAKER_11]: It's always bombshell.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_11]: Borshould code evidence.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_03]: They should call it there's a new documentary.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_03]: They should call it last new evidence.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_11]: Exactly.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_03]: The last new evidence.
- 11:51[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, we're all done with this.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_11]: I'm all good on Scott Peterson.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know, it's compelling.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_11]: It's not, is that him now?
- 11:58[SPEAKER_11]: He's got long hair now, huh?
- 11:59[SPEAKER_03]: It's compelling.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_11]: That's fun.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_03]: Mm-hmm.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_11]: Look at that.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_11]: He's got long hair, and that's that a van or something.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_03]: That apparently, there's five pieces of evidence that could possibly get him another try.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_11]: What they've already said, they're done, right?
- 12:15[SPEAKER_11]: They're not going to give him another trial.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_03]: Um...
- 12:17[SPEAKER_11]: I don't even go back now, right?
- 12:20[SPEAKER_11]: That was the last appeal to my knowledge, and that didn't work.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_11]: But I do like his fun flirty new hair back there.
- 12:27[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, well, it could then just lead to his freedom.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, they're still turning on appeals, it looks like.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, so continues to file appeals, despite a judge recently rejecting their latest petition for a retrial.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_03]: So you can appeal.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_03]: and try and get a retrial.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_03]: I'll all you want if they if you have the innocence project which means you're not paying for it.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, gotcha.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_03]: Um, which he has.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_03]: Weirdly, he has the innocence project and now they're saying they have the burglars and the dog and all the other shit Examining actual evidence, which the only thing that you can The only thing I will entertain is which one of the pieces of evidence is that Possibly Lacy and Connor the unborn baby died way later than December 24th
- 13:22[SPEAKER_03]: which would be the only other working theories that someone else, the burglars across the street took her and then with all the news coverage and all of this stuff were able to place the body in order for police to find it and be like, oh, it's got, you know what I mean?
- 13:45[SPEAKER_11]: I mean, look at we watch and then still have to watch this with you.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to sure.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_11]: I will want you with you.
- 13:53[SPEAKER_11]: I'm fascinated.
- 13:55[SPEAKER_03]: The Pearson Todd, look at look at these two.
- 13:57[SPEAKER_11]: Is this the, the dude they said were the criminals living across the street or something?
- 14:00[SPEAKER_03]: They were the ones that were, I guess, burglary, burgling.
- 14:05[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, I'm, I'm terrible that were two.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_03]: Burglcut, burglcutting a house across the street.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_03]: That Lacy was like, hey, like saw or something.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, when they were walking a dog or something like that.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_11]: Has the dog said anything?
- 14:23[SPEAKER_11]: That would be compelling to me if the dog testified.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_03]: Well, yeah.
- 14:29[SPEAKER_11]: I don't know what that dog knows.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_11]: Well, if you put a neural link on its head, you know, what I think we should do, I think this is the only way to solve this is have Elon Musk insert neural link inside the dog's brain and let him talk fully fucking talk and then put the dog on the stand, pull on the Bible, the dog from 2002, yep, bring it back to life first.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_11]: We got an experiment, clone it, snorling it, give it, you know, three to five years.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_11]: And then I think we're there and the dog can testify, and I think this case will get solved by them.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_11]: Other than that, I'll watch this with you.
- 15:04[SPEAKER_11]: It sounds fun and flirted.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_11]: The other thing I can't wait to watch has got him Tom Cruise movie.
- 15:08[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
- 15:08[SPEAKER_11]: They've been teasing this thing all year long, but it's just said digger, even the poster.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_11]: It's just a shovel.
- 15:16[SPEAKER_11]: It's just a drawing with a shovel and in a pair of boots.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_11]: No one knew what Tom Cruise was going to look like.
- 15:24[SPEAKER_11]: Blue pop open this picture here.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_11]: We would play the trailer, but it's so fucking insane that...
- 15:31[SPEAKER_11]: I don't even know what the movie is about.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_11]: I watch it.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_11]: And I don't know what the movie is about.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_11]: I'm all in.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_11]: I'm going to watch it opening weekend.
- 15:38[SPEAKER_11]: It's kind of a cross between his last Scroachman character from Tropic Thunder, and like a southern...
- 15:46[SPEAKER_11]: He's like a southern oil barren.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_02]: I've got the tagline for you here.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_02]: What is it?
- 15:50[SPEAKER_02]: Is it digger, please?
- 15:52[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's it.
- 15:53[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 15:53[SPEAKER_03]: That's so great.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_03]: Because then it's also intrigue.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_03]: No, it goes ahead with it.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_02]: It's the most powerful man in the world in box on a frantic mission to prove he has humanity's savior, but for the disaster, he's unleashed, destroys everything.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, so in the trailer, they've got him hovering with the president over this
- 16:13[SPEAKER_11]: Chanka ice up in it looks like an article or something like that.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_11]: They're gonna blow up this iceberg.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, so it's it's a little bit of futuristic
- 16:24[SPEAKER_03]: type non-reality reality.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_11]: No, it's apparently like a real story.
- 16:30[SPEAKER_11]: John Goodman there is Poppecker.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_11]: He plays the president of the United States.
- 16:34[SPEAKER_03]: Cool.
- 16:34[SPEAKER_11]: And something that Tom Cruise invented is now going to cost the planet $17 trillion and then they get a blow up this iceberg in order to save it.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_11]: And he pulls out the shovel and then they are right there.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_11]: he's gonna go and and get himself out of this and they're like digger ear the only one that can do this.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, okay, okay, okay.
- 16:57[SPEAKER_11]: And Tom Cruise is in a fat suit and when I was watching the show, we're at people and realize it was amazing.
- 17:04[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't realize it was Tom Cruise when I was watching the trailer.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_03]: Really?
- 17:08[SPEAKER_03]: And the record, not as a bull.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_03]: You know who I think I can get unrecognizable?
- 17:13[SPEAKER_03]: Like I could I could get blue with a record.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_11]: We've been staying there for years on the show.
- 17:19[SPEAKER_11]: Every single actor in movie wants to say there's completely unrecognizable.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_11]: But when he's washing this cat in the sink at the end of the trailer, it's y'all, yeah.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_11]: Okay.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_11]: Really washing this goddamn thing too.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, wow.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_11]: And it's just pure madness.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_11]: I even watching the trailer, which is why there's no point in playing it.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_11]: I have no idea what this movie's about.
- 17:42[SPEAKER_03]: By the way, going through it as snapshots.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_03]: is just like you really see like the vision, right?
- 17:52[SPEAKER_03]: Of what they're like, even, and the colors.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_11]: So I dug deep, pun intended on this.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_11]: And I went back to, Oh my goodness, he's doing it.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_03]: Like this very artsy, like amazing movie.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_03]: He's going top gone with it.
- 18:09[SPEAKER_11]: 100%.
- 18:10[SPEAKER_11]: And he, like, I think this is his, he knows this is his last shot to win an Oscar.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_11]: Fuck yeah.
- 18:20[SPEAKER_11]: And the director, what's his anti pronounced that name?
- 18:24[SPEAKER_11]: Alejandro, and Rattu, is that it?
- 18:27[SPEAKER_02]: Alejandro in, I don't know.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_02]: In Rattu, I think it's what it is.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_03]: We all get to Alejandro and then move to the interior.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_11]: So apparently 20 years ago, Tom Cruise saw this movie that he did.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_11]: And they were talking afterwards and it goes, look, man, I've got this movie, I want to do.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_11]: It's inside my mind, and it's digger.
- 18:49[SPEAKER_11]: And it's about this guy who does this thing or whatever, and then he approached him 20 years later after he finally wrote the script and said, do you want to do this?
- 18:58[SPEAKER_03]: What are the inerat to movies?
- 19:01[SPEAKER_11]: I know for a man, one of my favorite, uh, the Revenant with Takapereo, which won him and Oscar.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_11]: Okay.
- 19:09[SPEAKER_11]: We're all of it was shot during, uh, happy hour.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_03]: No, I mean, golden hour, golden hour, whatever, same thing.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_03]: That's my movie.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_03]: We're only shooting during happy hour.
- 19:20[SPEAKER_03]: Everybody starts.
- 19:20[SPEAKER_03]: They don't think Buzz.
- 19:22[SPEAKER_03]: Towards the end.
- 19:23[SPEAKER_10]: Every shots.
- 19:23[SPEAKER_10]: The martini shot.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_11]: It was a fucking nightmare to shoot.
- 19:29[SPEAKER_11]: Apparently because they only got one hour a day light a day to do it.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_11]: So it just kept going.
- 19:33[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_11]: So whenever budget and everything else, but it won an Oscar It made a lot of money.
- 19:38[SPEAKER_11]: What else is he done?
- 19:39[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it was a good movie.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_02]: Did you do the very first
- 19:45[SPEAKER_11]: Perus, uh, fuck with, uh, Diego Luna, scroll down.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_11]: What was his first move it?
- 19:53[SPEAKER_02]: I'd day trust down the dinner area.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 19:57[SPEAKER_03]: So I was for a to someone saying, no, he do that.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_02]: No, no, no, no, it's for a to was, uh,
- 20:04[SPEAKER_02]: The same guy who made like hereditary, I think.
- 20:06[SPEAKER_11]: Read off his movies here.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_02]: Directed by El Timbre and Morris Peros.
- 20:13[SPEAKER_02]: That's it.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_11]: So that was his first big movie there, yeah.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_11]: And that was Diego Luna and then whoever's little body is, who's in all the movies with him.
- 20:19[SPEAKER_03]: And that was dog love, right?
- 20:22[SPEAKER_11]: Yes.
- 20:22[SPEAKER_11]: And it was very good.
- 20:25[SPEAKER_11]: And I believe it was nominated for Best Picture for Foreign Film.
- 20:29[SPEAKER_11]: So he kind of exploded from that time cruiser like that movie.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_11]: But everybody did not like what it was one of those like indie art movies and it's like I cool everybody got famous off of them then it was telling about this digger thing and it was in my mind and he's like I want to make this and it took him 20 years to write the scripts and kind of get everything going towards it.
- 20:50[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, a Robert Eggers did did a nurse brought to you.
- 20:54[SPEAKER_02]: I just want to say that for sure.
- 20:56[SPEAKER_02]: Sure, no, I appreciate them, Luke.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_10]: Who else who else is in this?
- 21:00[SPEAKER_10]: I mean, uh, what other movies I'm seeing?
- 21:01[SPEAKER_10]: He did Babble, which was pretty pretty successful.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's okay.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_03]: Babble.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_03]: Babble.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_03]: It's okay.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_03]: It's okay.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_03]: It's okay.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_03]: It's okay.
- 21:06[SPEAKER_03]: It's okay.
- 21:06[SPEAKER_03]: It's okay.

- 21:08[SPEAKER_11]: It's okay.
- 21:08[SPEAKER_11]: It's okay.
- 21:08[SPEAKER_11]: It's okay.
- 21:09[SPEAKER_11]: It's okay.
- 21:09[SPEAKER_11]: It's okay.
- 21:09[SPEAKER_11]: It's okay.
- 21:09[SPEAKER_11]: It's okay.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_11]: It's okay.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_11]: It's okay.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_11]: It's okay.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_03]: It's okay.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_03]: It's okay.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_03]: It's okay.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_03]: It's okay.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_03]: It's okay.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_03]: It's okay.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_03]: It's okay.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_11]: It's okay.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_11]: It's okay.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_11]: It's okay.
- 21:14[SPEAKER_11]: It's okay.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_11]: It's okay.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_11]: It's okay.

- 21:17[SPEAKER_03]: It's
- 21:18[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, he's a beloved director and writer and anybody will work with him.
- 21:24[SPEAKER_11]: He's one of those guys where if he says, hey, I got a movie and it's like once every five years.
- 21:28[SPEAKER_11]: You're like, all right, cool.
- 21:29[SPEAKER_11]: Let's do it.
- 21:30[SPEAKER_11]: So Tom Cruise.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_11]: Recent movie was Bardow.
- 21:33[SPEAKER_03]: What is it?
- 21:34[SPEAKER_02]: Bardow falls chronicle of a handful of truths.
- 21:38[SPEAKER_02]: Never heard of it.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_03]: Never heard of it.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_02]: He looks like us.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, really?
- 21:41[SPEAKER_03]: It's a what?
- 21:42[SPEAKER_11]: Netflix movie.
- 21:44[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, who's the main?
- 21:45[SPEAKER_11]: Who's the lead?
- 21:46[SPEAKER_11]: Can we go out there?
- 21:48[SPEAKER_11]: Daniel Cacho.
- 21:51[SPEAKER_03]: Yep.
- 21:51[SPEAKER_03]: Yep.

- 21:55[SPEAKER_11]: Of course.
- 21:56[SPEAKER_11]: That's okay.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_11]: But Birdman was one of my favorite movies of all time.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, got you.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_11]: I love Birdman.
- 22:02[SPEAKER_11]: That may be it was awesome.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_11]: It was awesome.
- 22:04[SPEAKER_11]: And Michael Keaton should have won the Oscar for it.
- 22:06[SPEAKER_11]: So we'll see what happens with Tom Cruise or how ridiculous this fucking thing is.
- 22:10[SPEAKER_11]: I have no idea.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_11]: the full trailer just dropped in in his bananas.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_11]: And it's again, it's not even helpful to show it because I don't know what you would say about it.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_11]: Tons all over the place.
- 22:22[SPEAKER_03]: Is there any do you see any cheesy, any Tom Cruise, she'siness coming through or is he?
- 22:29[SPEAKER_03]: No.
- 22:29[SPEAKER_11]: The only cheesiness I saw was Goodman where I was like, I might be a little too much.
- 22:34[SPEAKER_11]: But Tom Cruise was, it looked like he was fully locked in.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_03]: And when he gets in it.
- 22:40[SPEAKER_02]: he's in.
- 22:41[SPEAKER_03]: There's no one better.
- 22:42[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like he hasn't done a movie like this since like remember when he stopped like thunder probably.
- 22:48[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, well, I think or like a serious what he stopped when he, we're remember with that, uh, Scientology video came out where he was like doing a big presentation.
- 22:58[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_02]: Stop doing all these these type of movies after that.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and just kept it like, well, he needed hits.
- 23:06[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, he needed hits.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_11]: That's why, because you do that crazy shit.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_11]: And then it gets out there and you're like, all right, fuck, I need to do four mission impossible.
- 23:14[SPEAKER_11]: It's another top gun to kind of pull everybody out of this.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_11]: And then I can back in and do a digger.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_11]: So I'm in.
- 23:22[SPEAKER_11]: I hope he wins.

- 23:27[SPEAKER_11]: And to your point earlier with that picture, we was on top of the huge shovel.
- 23:31[SPEAKER_11]: Only he would go out and do press like this.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_11]: This morning, he also signed on to do the end of the world cup.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_11]: So the closing ceremony for the world cup, he's going to be a part of, uh, he did, I think it was the opening ceremonies for the Olympics a couple years ago.
- 23:46[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
- 23:47[SPEAKER_11]: Uh, where he got in the plane and jumped out of the plane and did all that other shit.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_11]: And I mean, he'll, he'll promote a fucking movie till the end of time, uh, which is awesome.

- 30:46[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, he's doing top.
- 30:48[SPEAKER_11]: I'm three out of this.
- 30:49[SPEAKER_11]: So yeah, he's not doing that.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_11]: Okay.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_11]: So I'm not going to show up and rape Westerns or anything, you know, or somebody usually starts off with a rape in these Westerns and like these independent ones.
- 31:01[SPEAKER_11]: And it's like, I got to avenge my wife for daughter.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_03]: You know, yep.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, rape Westerns are a very, very popular genre of film.
- 31:09[SPEAKER_10]: They're just some of my favorites.
- 31:10[SPEAKER_11]: I know, what was the Clint Eastwood one, or they cut up her face?
- 31:14[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know it.
- 31:15[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not familiar.
- 31:16[SPEAKER_11]: Was that an unforgiven?
- 31:17[SPEAKER_11]: That's it.
- 31:18[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 31:18[SPEAKER_10]: Great rape West.
- 31:20[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 31:22[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 31:24[SPEAKER_11]: Clint Eastwood, uh, bone-tama hawk, it's used to scratch, man.
- 31:29[SPEAKER_11]: I'm not gonna, I'm not gonna relive that one today on the show, even you bowed out of that one.
- 31:34[SPEAKER_11]: We were my parents' house watching that.
- 31:36[SPEAKER_03]: Of what?
- 31:37[SPEAKER_11]: Bonetama Hawk.
- 31:38[SPEAKER_11]: And as soon as that dude got split in half, Buck naked, you were like, I'm out of here, dude.
- 31:43[SPEAKER_03]: I just, yep.
- 31:44[SPEAKER_11]: Just look guys, rape Westerns.
- 31:46[SPEAKER_11]: It always starts off with the red, and then it's like, fuck this person.
- 31:50[SPEAKER_11]: And then I'm gonna kill everyone.
- 31:52[SPEAKER_11]: So yeah, I don't think he's doing that.
- 31:53[SPEAKER_11]: He's doing Top Gun 3.
- 31:55[SPEAKER_11]: When's that start?
- 31:57[SPEAKER_03]: Especially he's going to make a special appearance for the world cop.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, I thought that's not an opkin.
- 32:02[SPEAKER_11]: That was for the world cup So it'll be I'll it'll be anywhere you need him to be so true all right?
- 32:07[SPEAKER_11]: You need him to to fly down on the field during the world cup The American flag.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_11]: He'll fucking do it.
- 32:12[SPEAKER_11]: He's the greatest movie star in our lifetime and the only thing he's missing is an Oscar Yeah, so let's fucking give it to them.
- 32:19[SPEAKER_03]: That's true.
- 32:19[SPEAKER_11]: Okay.
- 32:20[SPEAKER_11]: Let's do.
- 32:21[SPEAKER_11]: I'll play the movies not shitty.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_03]: Oh
- 32:28[SPEAKER_11]: Which one?
- 32:29[SPEAKER_11]: Miles Teller?
- 32:30[SPEAKER_03]: No, the other one.
- 32:31[SPEAKER_11]: Glenn Powell?
- 32:32[SPEAKER_03]: Glenn Powell.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, he's doing great.
- 32:34[SPEAKER_03]: See?
- 32:34[SPEAKER_03]: What's up, too?
- 32:36[SPEAKER_11]: Chad Powers.
- 32:37[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, second season.
- 32:38[SPEAKER_11]: He was nominated for a Golden Globe for it.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, yeah.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_11]: They've already shot it.
- 32:41[SPEAKER_11]: They're done shooting it.
- 32:43[SPEAKER_11]: And dude, he's tied to like 9 million movies right now.
- 32:46[SPEAKER_11]: I mean, fuck, I think he might be doing heat or something.
- 32:49[SPEAKER_11]: The secret of heat or if you look up his IMDB, he's literally attached to like 50 fucking movies right now.
- 32:57[SPEAKER_11]: He's on fire.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_11]: He's the dude.
- 32:59[SPEAKER_11]: He's the dude.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_11]: He's the one they're prepping to be the next movie star.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_02]: I could type up coming movies.
- 33:03[SPEAKER_02]: Which what are the names of them?
- 33:05[SPEAKER_02]: Chad Powers.
- 33:06[SPEAKER_02]: That season too.
- 33:06[SPEAKER_02]: Yep.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_02]: They come back King the natural order, Ron Howard, Ron Howard.
- 33:13[SPEAKER_11]: another Ron Howard movie and then Top Gun 3 and then Tom Cruise specifically asked for him to replace him in Mission Impossible.
- 33:23[SPEAKER_03]: Oh wow.
- 33:24[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, that's why.
- 33:26[SPEAKER_11]: So if I get to choose my successor, I want it to be the student.
- 33:30[SPEAKER_11]: That's awesome.
- 33:31[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, super nice.
- 33:33[SPEAKER_11]: So yeah, give Tom Cruise the
- 33:39[SPEAKER_11]: last year, he just kind of gave up and was just like, all right, we'll fuck this.
- 33:45[SPEAKER_11]: Did Moana came out last weekend?
- 33:47[SPEAKER_11]: Moana?
- 33:49[SPEAKER_11]: The live action version and it bombs miserably and I think it just started with those hair memes.
- 33:56[SPEAKER_11]: If you do the wrong
- 33:58[SPEAKER_11]: meme for a movie right now.
- 34:00[SPEAKER_11]: It is over with at the box office.
- 34:02[SPEAKER_11]: I'm a real curious to see those Odyssey numbers.
- 34:04[SPEAKER_03]: What does it look like?
- 34:06[SPEAKER_03]: It's supposed to look.
- 34:07[SPEAKER_03]: That's the problem.
- 34:08[SPEAKER_11]: I know.
- 34:09[SPEAKER_11]: But the problem is, if you're the rock and you're so famous in your your faces every single fucking square inch of every store and billboard and you know he's bald.
- 34:23[SPEAKER_11]: and it was just a bridge too far for people.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_11]: Okay.
- 34:26[SPEAKER_11]: The other part too is, Art 50% of the movie is animation, which the first one was entirely animation.
- 34:34[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, I don't know if it's animation or if it's easier.
- 34:36[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, to them.
- 34:36[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, I was thinking like, well, whatever.
- 34:38[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, I don't know what we're calling it anymore.
- 34:41[SPEAKER_03]: Well, it's not, if you think of animation, you think of animation.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, um, like the, the Lion King remake.
- 34:47[SPEAKER_02]: Like, how do you call that a live action movie, you know?
- 34:49[SPEAKER_03]: Exactly.
- 34:50[SPEAKER_03]: But did you have real lions?
- 34:52[SPEAKER_03]: No.
- 34:53[SPEAKER_11]: And did the lions actually talk?
- 34:54[SPEAKER_11]: No, they didn't.
- 34:55[SPEAKER_03]: Right.
- 34:56[SPEAKER_11]: So they weren't real lions.
- 34:57[SPEAKER_11]: Sure.
- 34:59[SPEAKER_11]: So I don't really understand this.
- 35:00[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, because you're saying only real lions can talk?
- 35:03[SPEAKER_11]: Well, no, I'm just saying, you didn't go through the casting process and give them a script and say, we'll read this scene for me.
- 35:10[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 35:10[SPEAKER_11]: And the lion didn't come in and read the scene properly.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, all right.
- 35:16[SPEAKER_11]: So yeah, dude, they're fake.
- 35:18[SPEAKER_03]: Sure.
- 35:18[SPEAKER_11]: And I don't like that.
- 35:19[SPEAKER_11]: If you would have gotten real lions in there.
- 35:21[SPEAKER_11]: To talk.
- 35:22[SPEAKER_11]: Let's fucking go.
- 35:22[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 35:23[SPEAKER_11]: Have them talk to people.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_03]: Now we're talking.
- 35:26[SPEAKER_03]: Do you know anything?
- 35:27[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, literally.
- 35:28[SPEAKER_03]: If you get real lines in there and teach them how to talk, let's go.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_11]: First day, I'm in.
- 35:35[SPEAKER_11]: Sure.
- 35:36[SPEAKER_11]: But until then, sorry, like, I can't buy it, but that movie did well.
- 35:40[SPEAKER_11]: So the only one that hasn't done well, one of these live action movies.
- 35:43[SPEAKER_11]: And that in a little mermaid.
- 35:45[SPEAKER_02]: It's no way, too, right?
- 35:47[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, yeah.
- 35:47[SPEAKER_11]: You're right.
- 35:48[SPEAKER_11]: You're right.
- 35:49[SPEAKER_11]: It's fucked.
- 35:49[SPEAKER_11]: You're those three.
- 35:50[SPEAKER_11]: But they all own problems.
- 35:53[SPEAKER_11]: Leo and Stitch went crazy, though.
- 35:55[SPEAKER_11]: True.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_03]: True.
- 35:57[SPEAKER_11]: Now she's dead.
- 35:58[SPEAKER_11]: She died of AIDS.
- 35:59[SPEAKER_03]: Toy Story 5, I think.
- 36:00[SPEAKER_11]: Blue up.
- 36:01[SPEAKER_03]: Blue up.
- 36:02[SPEAKER_11]: Exploded.
- 36:03[SPEAKER_11]: That one was flying.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_11]: Shit.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_11]: What else, man?
- 36:08[SPEAKER_11]: There's been a bunch of them this summer.
- 36:10[SPEAKER_11]: This summer's been a killer year for the box office.
- 36:12[SPEAKER_03]: He and Yens.
- 36:14[SPEAKER_11]: Minions.
- 36:14[SPEAKER_11]: I saw it.
- 36:14[SPEAKER_11]: So I saw it.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_11]: Blok, we brought you up over the weekend.
- 36:19[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, no.
- 36:20[SPEAKER_11]: You were like, I love the new minions.
- 36:22[SPEAKER_03]: So like, I can't tell with your dry humor, if you're seen it, I don't know.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_02]: I couldn't get good.
- 36:30[SPEAKER_02]: I heard it was good.
- 36:31[SPEAKER_02]: That's what I, that's all I said.
- 36:33[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, I thought, do you see your mom?
- 36:35[SPEAKER_03]: We've got to send you loved it, dude.
- 36:37[SPEAKER_02]: I heard people love it.
- 36:38[SPEAKER_02]: I haven't seen it.
- 36:39[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, all right.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_11]: So I took my kids love to go to the movies, so they wanted to see it.
- 36:43[SPEAKER_11]: So I personally don't like the minions movies.
- 36:46[SPEAKER_11]: I haven't seen any of them.
- 36:47[SPEAKER_11]: It bugs this shit out of me.
- 36:48[SPEAKER_11]: The voice is all for an hour and a half of me.
- 36:50[SPEAKER_02]: Me, me, me, me, me, me.
- 36:52[SPEAKER_11]: It's like, it's too much for me.
- 36:53[SPEAKER_11]: I don't have the role.
- 36:54[SPEAKER_11]: Exactly.
- 36:55[SPEAKER_11]: And it's too much for me.
- 36:57[SPEAKER_03]: was grew in it.
- 36:59[SPEAKER_03]: Steve Crowe.
- 36:59[SPEAKER_11]: They put him in one scene in the credits.
- 37:02[SPEAKER_11]: Spoiler alert.
- 37:04[SPEAKER_11]: There you go.
- 37:04[SPEAKER_11]: If you're listening to this show and you and you care if Steve Crowe was in there, yeah, they put him in during the credit sequence, but cover your ears for the next five minutes.
- 37:14[SPEAKER_03]: Because we're going on a minion spoiler alert.
- 37:20[SPEAKER_03]: just fast forward a couple minutes because we've got to spill the minion tea go ahead.
- 37:25[SPEAKER_11]: But I've seen them all because of the kids taking them all the movies and all that stuff.
- 37:29[SPEAKER_11]: It was actually really fucking good.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_11]: The way that they did it was they went back to it starts off with like Alice and Janney in a museum and it's like an old Hollywood museum and they're like oh well who are these two minions?
- 37:42[SPEAKER_11]: And they were like oh well they saved Hollywood and they saved the thing and so they go back to the 1940s.
- 37:47[SPEAKER_11]: of Hollywood, but the entire town looked like it used to when we were there in the early 2000s.
- 37:53[SPEAKER_11]: So you know all the landmarks, monuments, and all that other stuff.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_11]: And then the monster's part was like famous monsters that all the kids have, and it was actually very fucking good.
- 38:04[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 38:04[SPEAKER_11]: That was really fucking good.
- 38:05[SPEAKER_03]: He was telling you the whole movie right now.
- 38:09[SPEAKER_11]: I mean, it's minions and monsters.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_11]: I'm sure you fucking know from the goddamn title.
- 38:14[SPEAKER_11]: But it was, uh, go to the green face one, yeah.
- 38:18[SPEAKER_11]: So that was like the lead monster in it.
- 38:22[SPEAKER_11]: And it was great, because they were saving Hollywood, and there was an old horror film called The Blob.
- 38:30[SPEAKER_11]: And so that pops up, and I actually enjoyed it.
- 38:34[SPEAKER_11]: I couldn't believe it.
- 38:35[SPEAKER_11]: I was stunned.
- 38:36[SPEAKER_11]: I was like, holy shit, this is actually a really good movie.
- 38:40[SPEAKER_11]: And I was like, I came home, and the first thing I said to Jesse was fucking blue was right.
- 38:45[SPEAKER_11]: Blue was right.
- 38:46[SPEAKER_11]: Not kidding.
- 38:48[SPEAKER_03]: And again, maybe he was joking and I can't tell with blue, but he was just like, it was really good.
- 38:54[SPEAKER_02]: I know.
- 38:55[SPEAKER_03]: It, it, no, it would.
- 38:56[SPEAKER_02]: I would never joke about minions.
- 38:58[SPEAKER_02]: I, yeah, I know you would.
- 39:00[SPEAKER_03]: I should have known that.
- 39:01[SPEAKER_11]: But I want to know that you would never joke with our kids and I go.
- 39:05[SPEAKER_11]: Holy shit.
- 39:06[SPEAKER_11]: It was good.
- 39:06[SPEAKER_11]: It was really fucking good.
- 39:07[SPEAKER_03]: I said Luke said I know it's such conviction It is so good.
- 39:12[SPEAKER_03]: No for real.
- 39:13[SPEAKER_03]: It's I it's really good and maybe I didn't hear like I heard it was really good I thought it was like it's really good.
- 39:18[SPEAKER_03]: No for real.
- 39:18[SPEAKER_03]: It was really good.
- 39:19[SPEAKER_03]: No.
- 39:19[SPEAKER_11]: No, it was it was great So I liked that, but there's been a ton of great movies and it looks like the street is is gonna continue here You'll have your occasional bomb that happens throughout the summer super girl
- 39:30[SPEAKER_11]: Sure.
- 39:30[SPEAKER_11]: Moana, all the woke shit, and then obviously the Odyssey this weekend.
- 39:35[SPEAKER_02]: So the Odyssey?
- 39:36[SPEAKER_02]: What happens there?
- 39:36[SPEAKER_02]: Got projections out now.
- 39:38[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, okay.
- 39:38[SPEAKER_02]: What is it on couch here?
- 39:40[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, this is yahoo.com.
- 39:42[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 39:43[SPEAKER_02]: The Odyssey is projected to open between 98 and 132 million.
- 39:47[SPEAKER_02]: Ooh.
- 39:47[SPEAKER_11]: It did.
- 39:48[SPEAKER_11]: Does.
- 39:48[SPEAKER_11]: Then it's a massive hit.
- 39:50[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 39:50[SPEAKER_02]: Earlier estimates were slightly more conservative.
- 39:53[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, so we were talking about on drink and bruise and rip it on it and one of our listeners actually saw it He was on a base and they they let him see it so he gave us a he gave me a review and he said hey, dude Here's the so he was his honest assessment of it.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_11]: He's it visually.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_11]: It's fucking stunning and Yes, you can sit to the movie because the problem is
- 40:13[SPEAKER_11]: same thing that we were pitching about and everybody's pitching about is when you see these people in there it kind of takes you out of the movie for a little bit which is why you don't do that because it's you want to go along the story and kind of forget about life for you know a couple hours how long is the movie by the way you didn't say that I think it's three hours long three hours okay but he said it was
- 40:33[SPEAKER_11]: like white knuckle grip in the fucking seats because it was so visually stunning that you're locked into this shit.
- 40:39[SPEAKER_03]: Right.
- 40:40[SPEAKER_11]: I said, Ellen Page wasn't in it that much, it was like a minute.
- 40:45[SPEAKER_11]: And then the Peter Noongo thing is, you know, a little jarring apparently, but it goes look.
- 40:52[SPEAKER_11]: If you're in it for a spectacle of a movie, it's fine.
- 40:56[SPEAKER_03]: Let's go.
- 40:57[SPEAKER_11]: If it's, if you're trying to win an Oscar with us now.
- 41:00[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, no.
- 41:01[SPEAKER_03]: There's nothing it could win an Oscar for.
- 41:03[SPEAKER_03]: I heard a cat.
- 41:05[SPEAKER_11]: You were sick wasn't saying.
- 41:06[SPEAKER_11]: Well, that, and that, that could be true, but you got to think of just a normal movie watch or not somebody in it.
- 41:11[SPEAKER_03]: Go on, okay.
- 41:12[SPEAKER_11]: Like us, right?
- 41:13[SPEAKER_11]: So who was critiquing all the shit?
- 41:15[SPEAKER_11]: Now, my buddy's in it and I asked him if he had seen it because he watched the clip that went viral of me seeing Helen of Detroit and he's like dying laughing.
- 41:26[SPEAKER_11]: And I go, have you seen it?
- 41:28[SPEAKER_11]: And he goes, no.
- 41:29[SPEAKER_11]: Uh, he was, he's in town for the premiere.
- 41:31[SPEAKER_11]: I think it's either tonight or tomorrow.
- 41:33[SPEAKER_11]: And he said they built like a huge horse in maybe time, square, somewhere in there.
- 41:39[SPEAKER_11]: Can you look online?
- 41:40[SPEAKER_11]: I'm sure people would have taken pictures of it.
- 41:44[SPEAKER_11]: I would imagine.
- 41:45[SPEAKER_03]: They're premieres in New York.
- 41:47[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, he's in New York.
- 41:48[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 41:49[SPEAKER_11]: And he took a picture, well, he sent me a picture with it in the background.
- 41:53[SPEAKER_11]: Um.
- 41:55[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, that's it.
- 41:56[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 41:57[SPEAKER_11]: Where is this?
- 42:00[SPEAKER_11]: Upper West Side.
- 42:01[SPEAKER_03]: That's of course like it's too.
- 42:04[SPEAKER_11]: That's a three story horse dude.
- 42:07[SPEAKER_11]: What the fuck?
- 42:08[SPEAKER_03]: Right, yeah.
- 42:09[SPEAKER_11]: Okay.
- 42:09[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, I see.
- 42:10[SPEAKER_11]: It says the Odyssey on the thing and.
- 42:12[SPEAKER_11]: All right.
- 42:12[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 42:13[SPEAKER_11]: That's cool.
- 42:14[SPEAKER_11]: So there's something up from the premiere there.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 42:16[SPEAKER_11]: The theaters in the York City are weird by the way.
- 42:19[SPEAKER_11]: They're not great.
- 42:20[SPEAKER_03]: Right.
- 42:20[SPEAKER_11]: So I don't know where you'd have one.
- 42:22[SPEAKER_11]: I don't know where you'd have a premiere there because you kind of walk through and you're in a building.
- 42:26[SPEAKER_11]: You're in like a high rise.
- 42:27[SPEAKER_11]: So like half of it's the boobies that you're looking at.
- 42:30[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 42:30[SPEAKER_11]: There's no apartments on top of it.
- 42:32[SPEAKER_11]: How much do this goddamn thing costs?
- 42:34[SPEAKER_11]: Is that it right there?
- 42:35[SPEAKER_11]: Let's see this thing stretched out.
- 42:38[SPEAKER_11]: Whoa.
- 42:39[SPEAKER_11]: All right.
- 42:41[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 42:43[SPEAKER_11]: So they're going for it.
- 42:45[SPEAKER_11]: Now they stop the critic screenings.
- 42:49[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 42:50[SPEAKER_11]: I don't want any bad reviews.
- 42:51[SPEAKER_03]: They don't want any.
- 42:52[SPEAKER_03]: No, no, no, no.
- 42:53[SPEAKER_11]: Same with Moana.
- 42:55[SPEAKER_11]: So if it makes the the number that you said blue, that is a fantastic lights out opening and it's going to be a hit.
- 43:01[SPEAKER_11]: Around the world, you know, globally, I'm sure the shit will do well.
- 43:05[SPEAKER_11]: So yeah, you know, that'll be a nice fuck you if it makes 100 million opening weekend for sure.
- 43:11[SPEAKER_11]: That's a lot of goddamn money.
- 43:12[SPEAKER_11]: No, Moana only had 40.
- 43:15[SPEAKER_11]: Supergirl was like 38.
- 43:17[SPEAKER_11]: Supergirls was like the worst in Australia.
- 43:19[SPEAKER_11]: You're going to lose your ass on that.
- 43:22[SPEAKER_11]: But if this opens up at 100, then I think you're fine.
- 43:26[SPEAKER_11]: So, you know, he's
- 43:29[SPEAKER_11]: Pretty honest about Shiddy goes like, you don't know what you're signing up for.
- 43:32[SPEAKER_11]: You know, you do a Christopher Nolan movie.
- 43:34[SPEAKER_11]: It should be fucking awesome.
- 43:36[SPEAKER_11]: You do it.
- 43:37[SPEAKER_11]: But he goes, you never know what the end of the day, which is true.
- 43:39[SPEAKER_11]: You never know.
- 43:40[SPEAKER_11]: You never know.
- 43:41[SPEAKER_11]: We get some sadness too.
- 43:42[SPEAKER_11]: You were talking about this last night when you were home.
- 43:46[SPEAKER_11]: I obviously, your mom's house is one of our favorites here.
- 43:52[SPEAKER_11]: We liked those guys.
- 43:52[SPEAKER_11]: They're getting divorced according to TMZ after 18 years.
- 43:55[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 43:57[SPEAKER_11]: What's the sitch there?
- 43:58[SPEAKER_11]: Did they say what it was?
- 44:00[SPEAKER_03]: I didn't believe you at first, by the way, I was like, no, no, they said they were going on different paths and very amicable and they are.
- 44:11[SPEAKER_03]: You know, they're going to continue to host the show together, although they haven't hosted together for the past couple months.
- 44:22[SPEAKER_03]: So, really?
- 44:24[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
- 44:24[SPEAKER_03]: So I think separation started maybe April, you know, so they people have noticed that they haven't kind of podcast together.
- 44:34[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know how that would work or if it's going to work, if anyone could like joke around and make it kind of work, I think they could, but I don't know.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_11]: I don't know.
- 44:43[SPEAKER_11]: The pens on a show?
- 44:44[SPEAKER_11]: No.
- 44:45[SPEAKER_03]: It depends on what happened.
- 44:46[SPEAKER_03]: It depends on if they both are like, dude, don't.
- 44:49[SPEAKER_11]: Would you let Lauren come to work here?
- 44:53[SPEAKER_03]: Would I let her work here?
- 44:55[SPEAKER_11]: That was, ruin that started, you know, we were both like, whoa, boy, how does the super high young girl should have shelved in the office every fucking day?
- 45:04[SPEAKER_11]: Like, how does that work?
- 45:05[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 45:06[SPEAKER_11]: Uh, here we know us.
- 45:10[SPEAKER_11]: I looked at his schedule, and we did this live on air, so I'm not speaking on a school here.
- 45:14[SPEAKER_11]: But I looked at his touring schedule live on air, and I told you it gave me anxiety.
- 45:20[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 45:20[SPEAKER_11]: I was like, I don't know how you could be gone 200 to 215 nights out of the year.
- 45:25[SPEAKER_11]: Shoot a Netflix series and ever see your wife and kids.
- 45:29[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_11]: Now the money they're making is insane.
- 45:33[SPEAKER_11]: Uh, for Tom Sager and and her too.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_03]: I think she's got to make a line and they've got make a line and then I think they're partners in the in the your mom's house.
- 45:44[SPEAKER_11]: So yeah, because it's a whole studio now.
- 45:46[SPEAKER_11]: They've got a bunch of shows and everything else same as here, right?
- 45:49[SPEAKER_11]: So yeah, I don't know how that's going to shake out.
- 45:54[SPEAKER_11]: Very, I didn't I didn't believe you.
- 45:55[SPEAKER_11]: I was like no way.
- 45:56[SPEAKER_11]: I had to look this up.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_03]: I know.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_11]: And it's said, you know, the usual, hey, this is amicable and blah, blah, blah, but you got two kids.
- 46:06[SPEAKER_11]: I think she just beat cancer, maybe?
- 46:08[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, she just had breast cancer.
- 46:10[SPEAKER_03]: And I think she's OK now, yeah.
- 46:13[SPEAKER_11]: OK.
- 46:14[SPEAKER_11]: So yeah, I don't know how you do a show.
- 46:17[SPEAKER_11]: Let's say he or she starts dating somebody.
- 46:21[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 46:22[SPEAKER_11]: What do you do then?
- 46:23[SPEAKER_11]: I know.
- 46:27[SPEAKER_11]: Uh, it would just be a lot.
- 46:29[SPEAKER_11]: And if you could, let's say you could do the show together, and both you guys are dating other people, I don't know that you didn't even want to listen.
- 46:39[SPEAKER_11]: What would you?
- 46:39[SPEAKER_11]: I mean, what's like, everybody seems really, really sad about this.
- 46:44[SPEAKER_11]: Including myself, by the way, like I was, I didn't want to see this.
- 46:47[SPEAKER_11]: I was like, shit, man, that sucks.
- 46:49[SPEAKER_03]: It could, I don't know, it could do great ratings.
- 46:56[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, like, uh, it was B.H.G.
- 46:59[SPEAKER_11]: TV show.
- 47:00[SPEAKER_03]: Now, that one didn't, because they aren't comedians, and it was the most uncomfortable thing of all.
- 47:04[SPEAKER_11]: But the ratings were through the roof.
- 47:06[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, because you kind of wanted to see how, even I watched it with you, Tarrink and Tarrick.
- 47:12[SPEAKER_03]: Tarrick.
- 47:13[SPEAKER_03]: All Moose, all Moose, or whatever, and Christina.
- 47:20[SPEAKER_11]: She was doing a local jacuzzi commercial here.
- 47:22[SPEAKER_11]: I just saw the other night.
- 47:24[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 47:25[SPEAKER_11]: So they can kind of remodel your bathroom.
- 47:28[SPEAKER_11]: If you call right now, they can lock that appointment down and turn it back and check it out.
- 47:32[SPEAKER_03]: They're getting married and shorts, right?
- 47:34[SPEAKER_03]: Mary pregnant divorce, Mary pregnant divorce, because on three different times.
- 47:38[SPEAKER_03]: That was the one where people are like, is he the pro?
- 47:41[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
- 47:42[SPEAKER_03]: In the beginning, he was the pro.
- 47:43[SPEAKER_11]: I know.
- 47:46[SPEAKER_03]: uh and then as it as time went on they sort of went okay so she's a kuku yeah and then he started dating a younger version of her who's a terrible look alike yeah they tried to do kind of a spin-off like him and her and then Christina and her husband
- 48:06[SPEAKER_03]: and sort of like a remodel off competition, they got through the promos, and then the show got squashed pretty quickly, and never was made, and I wonder why.
- 48:20[SPEAKER_03]: But the promo,
- 48:23[SPEAKER_03]: was great flipping off or something.
- 48:25[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, the flip off.
- 48:26[SPEAKER_11]: There you go.
- 48:26[SPEAKER_11]: It's kind of like face.
- 48:28[SPEAKER_03]: So now it's just him and her against Christina because she lost her third husband.
- 48:34[SPEAKER_03]: Third husband right before the show started so they couldn't do the actual couple flip off.
- 48:42[SPEAKER_11]: I like the Greg Le Mansan says zero inches for 12 months.
- 48:45[SPEAKER_11]: So you've seen the commercial Greg.
- 48:48[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, okay, yeah, I love that, but a lot of people are saying with Christina peas now she's single now's my chance There's a lot of people.
- 48:55[SPEAKER_11]: I feel like the same thing would happen with us everybody like I think I guess you think I'll do it now Yeah, let's do it.
- 49:01[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah That with the family right on the other side.
- 49:04[SPEAKER_11]: There's a lot of people are saying hey he got a glow up and fucking Now's now's his chance to give you a lot of Hit he's you know
- 49:14[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, and the article you've gone he just got an Emmy nomination I think yeah the article you sent me had comments on it and And it just popped up and and this is why I don't read them because it's just so fucking dark on the internet that I'm like I don't want to be bothered with it.
- 49:32[SPEAKER_11]: The very first comments some guy wrote and it was just attached the article so I'm a choice, you know If it guy wrote, uh, uh
- 49:41[SPEAKER_11]: That's snapper, probably got too old and probably couldn't get wet anymore.
- 49:45[SPEAKER_03]: Sounds like Ruben.
- 49:46[SPEAKER_03]: Ruben, did you write that?
- 49:47[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 49:48[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 49:49[SPEAKER_03]: That's a, that's a Ruben comment.
- 49:51[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 49:52[SPEAKER_03]: And it's strictly made to make you go like, God damn it.
- 49:55[SPEAKER_11]: Ha ha ha ha.
- 49:56[SPEAKER_11]: It's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's
- 50:10[SPEAKER_11]: Well, I wasn't rooting for that, and I don't know how you salvage it at this point.
- 50:16[SPEAKER_03]: Salvage what?
- 50:17[SPEAKER_11]: Podcast business.
- 50:20[SPEAKER_03]: Like you got to still do it.
- 50:21[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe she'll do.
- 50:23[SPEAKER_11]: But are they both just going to do shows separately on the same thing?
- 50:27[SPEAKER_03]: And I, well, they have been for the past couple months.
- 50:31[SPEAKER_03]: So I don't, I don't know.
- 50:32[SPEAKER_11]: The ratings are still good.
- 50:33[SPEAKER_11]: So who knows?
- 50:34[SPEAKER_03]: They have a lot of shows on the network.
- 50:36[SPEAKER_03]: So he has two bears, maybe she'll bring back where my mom's at or whatever.
- 50:42[SPEAKER_03]: And you know, you kind of just figure it out.
- 50:45[SPEAKER_03]: I will say being married and working together.
- 50:48[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, it's crazy.
- 50:49[SPEAKER_03]: It's hard, man.
- 50:53[SPEAKER_11]: Man, it's crazy.
- 50:54[SPEAKER_11]: It's hard already.
- 50:55[SPEAKER_03]: Marriage is hard already.
- 50:56[SPEAKER_11]: Let alone working together and all that other stuff.
- 50:59[SPEAKER_03]: Letting go up.
- 51:00[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, let alone having it like,
- 51:02[SPEAKER_11]: see the person every day, no, no, no, no, no, wait, it's around, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
- 51:24[SPEAKER_03]: doing shows right you good or you know I mean and the hardest thing about theirs is that's what she does I know they met doing stand up to get there and as we all know then she's home with the kids and he's off
- 51:40[SPEAKER_03]: Killing it on the road, you know what I mean?
- 51:44[SPEAKER_11]: But are you as the question like, are you what?
- 51:46[SPEAKER_11]: Like, killing it.
- 51:47[SPEAKER_11]: I mean, financially, yes.
- 51:49[SPEAKER_11]: But in life, you've been out on the road and done something a lot of these shows.
- 51:53[SPEAKER_11]: And it's exhausting.
- 51:55[SPEAKER_11]: Even just, you know, one or two days is exhausting, let alone.
- 51:59[SPEAKER_11]: So I think he did 220 days last year.
- 52:01[SPEAKER_11]: I mean, it was something gnarly like that.
- 52:03[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 52:03[SPEAKER_11]: I'd be fucking exhausted.
- 52:05[SPEAKER_11]: Like, what, he's got to be in his 50s, right?
- 52:07[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, he is actually 47.
- 52:10[SPEAKER_03]: She's a 50, yes.
- 52:12[SPEAKER_11]: Okay.
- 52:12[SPEAKER_11]: She's older.
- 52:13[SPEAKER_11]: Okay.
- 52:15[SPEAKER_11]: Because I was looking up a calendar, Brian Kalner are home.
- 52:18[SPEAKER_11]: And somebody, somebody hit me up and I was like, you know, he's 60 and I was like, no.
- 52:23[SPEAKER_11]: And I looked at all these 50 and I was like, I'll be 60 next year doing that many shows.
- 52:28[SPEAKER_11]: Or maybe that's what keeps you young.
- 52:29[SPEAKER_11]: Who fucking knows?
- 52:31[SPEAKER_11]: But when you got two small kids, that's where
- 52:34[SPEAKER_11]: the conflict comes in.
- 52:36[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but when you're a dad, do you have them?
- 52:39[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 52:39[SPEAKER_03]: Do you know what I mean?
- 52:40[SPEAKER_11]: I mean, you've got them in a certain age for sure.
- 52:43[SPEAKER_03]: Do you have kids that you didn't like perfect you from doing stuff?
- 52:48[SPEAKER_03]: You don't have to say.
- 52:49[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, you have them.
- 52:51[SPEAKER_03]: It's up to you to hang out with them, Belay.
- 52:54[SPEAKER_11]: Maybe that's the problem.
- 52:55[SPEAKER_11]: How many show dates is there?
- 52:56[SPEAKER_02]: Are you on it right now?
- 52:58[SPEAKER_02]: It doesn't say how many it just says what the show's on.
- 53:00[SPEAKER_02]: Look at that list though, tons.
- 53:02[SPEAKER_03]: Is that not it for audio listeners?
- 53:04[SPEAKER_03]: It's a, it's a, it looks like there's a 100 down.
- 53:09[SPEAKER_10]: It looks like a CBS receipt.
- 53:10[SPEAKER_03]: It's, yes.
- 53:12[SPEAKER_02]: It does say that his show before this one, which is probably 2024 and 2023.
- 53:15[SPEAKER_02]: It was 300 shows Jesus Christ.
- 53:16[SPEAKER_02]: Are you?
- 53:17[SPEAKER_02]: 300 shows in one year.
- 53:17[SPEAKER_02]: Wow.
- 53:27[SPEAKER_11]: It's possible for sure.
- 53:28[SPEAKER_11]: I look, I thought it was too 20.
- 53:30[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, 300.
- 53:32[SPEAKER_11]: That was for his, I'm coming everywhere show.
- 53:35[SPEAKER_11]: Mm.
- 53:37[SPEAKER_11]: For, I think Netflix aired that.
- 53:39[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 53:40[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 53:41[SPEAKER_11]: Man, that's a lot of fucking days is a lot of days out there.
- 53:47[SPEAKER_02]: How does he write new jokes in that time?
- 53:50[SPEAKER_02]: That's like crazy.
- 53:51[SPEAKER_03]: I think because he's
- 53:54[SPEAKER_03]: touring.
- 53:54[SPEAKER_03]: He was going up.
- 53:55[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 53:56[SPEAKER_03]: So he's always at least, you know, and then yeah.
- 54:01[SPEAKER_03]: So podcasting and then he'll go probably mother ship or whatever, but it's kind of like it has mother ship actually.
- 54:08[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, it does.
- 54:09[SPEAKER_11]: I mean, it's written on the street in Austin, but is he in Austin is the question looking at these tour dates?
- 54:12[SPEAKER_11]: I mean, he's fucking everywhere.
- 54:14[SPEAKER_03]: Right.
- 54:15[SPEAKER_11]: Who knows?
- 54:16[SPEAKER_03]: If you leave your wife in Austin while you travel around,
- 54:22[SPEAKER_03]: anywhere else, leave her by the beach at least, you know what I'm saying?
- 54:25[SPEAKER_03]: Like, don't leave her alone.
- 54:28[SPEAKER_03]: An 180 degree.
- 54:28[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 54:29[SPEAKER_03]: Like dealing with awesome, I think, especially where they live, too, like.
- 54:35[SPEAKER_11]: Traffic in all of the shit.
- 54:38[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 54:39[SPEAKER_11]: I'm not going to say where their studio is, but it's.
- 54:42[SPEAKER_11]: That's a, that's a highway for sure.
- 54:45[SPEAKER_11]: That's a highway for sure.
- 54:46[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 54:47[SPEAKER_11]: You got to tackle a big one out there.
- 54:49[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 54:50[SPEAKER_11]: So yeah, it's, it's sad.
- 54:52[SPEAKER_11]: It's sad.
- 54:52[SPEAKER_11]: But when you look at this type of shit, we just watched a doc the other night.
- 54:55[SPEAKER_11]: Who is that singer?
- 54:57[SPEAKER_11]: But the, the, the, the.
- 55:00[SPEAKER_03]: Lewis Capaldi.
- 55:01[SPEAKER_11]: Yes, we watched this Louis, Louis Capaldi doc.
- 55:03[SPEAKER_03]: It's older.
- 55:04[SPEAKER_03]: It's not new.
- 55:05[SPEAKER_03]: No, but, but it's even older than, uh, Mauritius.
- 55:10[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, is it really?
- 55:11[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 55:11[SPEAKER_11]: So it's two years old, instead of last year.
- 55:14[SPEAKER_03]: But when we were watching it, it's not breaking news.
- 55:16[SPEAKER_11]: Wait, you're was it?
- 55:19[SPEAKER_11]: What was this, 23?
- 55:20[SPEAKER_11]: 23.
- 55:20[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, shit, three years old.
- 55:21[SPEAKER_11]: Goddamn, that is old.
- 55:23[SPEAKER_03]: It's old, yeah.
- 55:24[SPEAKER_11]: What's weird is like, here's why I don't know this is old.
- 55:27[SPEAKER_11]: That song was so massive that it felt like it was big for two years.
- 55:34[SPEAKER_11]: I felt like it was number one for two years in a row.
- 55:35[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 55:36[SPEAKER_11]: What was the name of the song?
- 55:37[SPEAKER_11]: Is it ordinary?
- 55:39[SPEAKER_03]: Someone you loved?
- 55:41[SPEAKER_11]: Um, God-brown YouTube today.
- 55:42[SPEAKER_11]: We can't play it, but it's like the one of the most famous songs ever.
- 55:46[SPEAKER_11]: He sold 10 million albums.
- 55:48[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, 10 million on his first try and then they're like, hey bud, so we need another album right now and he has this fucking breakdown.
- 55:58[SPEAKER_11]: And they're asking him to kind of write shit on tour and, you know, it's similar to this, what you were asking about earlier.
- 56:04[SPEAKER_11]: And he just loses his shit.
- 56:06[SPEAKER_11]: I mean, it's fucking insane.
- 56:09[SPEAKER_03]: The twitches were like, I mean, well, I did a little bit of a deep dive after.
- 56:16[SPEAKER_03]: And what it kind of seemed like was like, the suits kind of got to him, right?
- 56:20[SPEAKER_03]: So like, he became, he got like, by a roll from like a YouTube clip of him singing somewhere and then his Instagram got big and he's just like a dude from Glasgow, the plays guitar and rights, right?
- 56:34[SPEAKER_03]: Um, and this song goes huge and then these suits get involved and basically turn his music into piles of trash, right?
- 56:44[SPEAKER_03]: And he's trying to be like, no, no, like, this is really good.
- 56:47[SPEAKER_03]: So I did a deep dive in the ones, the songs that are still, if you go to his top songs, are all the ones that are like his shit, right?
- 56:56[SPEAKER_03]: just solo, you know, like piano or guitar, him singing about a sad shit, whatever, whatever, where the studio was like, I don't know.
- 57:07[SPEAKER_03]: It's still that.
- 57:08[SPEAKER_03]: None of that new craft that they like wanted, that were like, member they were cheers and over there.
- 57:13[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I was never on that.
- 57:15[SPEAKER_11]: No, no, that was forget me.
- 57:19[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, it was like a pop song and he they had them without clothes on and shit Fat as fuck like it was weird man either way the guy is super fucking talented but
- 57:32[SPEAKER_11]: He was just jamming out incredible songs.
- 57:35[SPEAKER_11]: And even his parents were like, yeah, I don't really like that that much.
- 57:39[SPEAKER_11]: Your older stuff was better.
- 57:40[SPEAKER_11]: And you're just watching everybody in his life telling me sucks.
- 57:43[SPEAKER_11]: And I was like, man, every song he was creating was incredible.
- 57:46[SPEAKER_11]: And I'm like, what, I finally turned to you was like, what plan are we on here?
- 57:50[SPEAKER_11]: Get rid of all these people in your life.
- 57:51[SPEAKER_11]: Jesus Christ, man.
- 57:53[SPEAKER_11]: I almost had a meltdown screaming.
- 57:54[SPEAKER_11]: I was like, get out of here.
- 57:55[SPEAKER_03]: You only put too many no people.
- 57:58[SPEAKER_03]: You know, like how people have problems if they have too many yes people around, like, yes.
- 58:01[SPEAKER_03]: And for a single person, it was a no.
- 58:03[SPEAKER_03]: He had too many no people around him.
- 58:05[SPEAKER_03]: Boy, we're like, we're listening to be like, that's dope.
- 58:08[SPEAKER_03]: And if he would just put out.
- 58:10[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
- 58:11[SPEAKER_11]: If he would have put out the album that he was actually making, it would have been massive.
- 58:15[SPEAKER_11]: And they didn't do that.
- 58:16[SPEAKER_11]: They turned them, they tried to turn them into a pop star, whatever it was.
- 58:18[SPEAKER_11]: And I was like, holy shit.
- 58:23[SPEAKER_11]: and because of it, like, you know, with the lack of TV shows and all that other stuff, like, we've been gone in through Docs lately.
- 58:30[SPEAKER_11]: We watched that cruise ship one right after that.
- 58:34[SPEAKER_11]: Man, we covered the story years and years and years ago, because I think the boat was still stuck upside down and God, if you really wanna hate somebody, go and watch that documentary, that hot, let's take a check.
- 58:51[SPEAKER_11]: the Italian, but yeah, whatever, man.
- 58:54[SPEAKER_11]: I was rooting for her to die the whole time.
- 58:57[SPEAKER_11]: She left her mom on the fucking cruise ship.
- 58:59[SPEAKER_11]: Mom died.
- 59:00[SPEAKER_11]: Okay, spoiler alert.
- 59:02[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, and she's just like, you know,
- 59:05[SPEAKER_11]: She had her chance to come along with me, and she said, I'm kind of nervous, and I want to go back and get my shoes.
- 59:12[SPEAKER_03]: So I let her go back to the room, like the Titanic.
- 59:14[SPEAKER_03]: So like people just like, she takes to get on these little, you know, lifeboats, and this ship is going down, women and children first, pop that hook up, Luke, up by the way, that one.
- 59:28[SPEAKER_03]: You know, our society has gone to complete ship, because it was not women and children first.
- 59:36[SPEAKER_11]: got that black losers that black people who go on cruise ships yeah trying to organize them to like be civilized there was a black dude who ran out with a uh... table top blank you know what's the what's the table clock the other table clock
- 59:53[SPEAKER_11]: something was in this bag.
- 59:54[SPEAKER_11]: What did you call it?
- 59:55[SPEAKER_03]: The bag of it had a bag of business.
- 59:58[SPEAKER_03]: He had a bag of business, but he's like stepping over like children with like this to get on this bag of this life or something.
- 1:00:06[SPEAKER_11]: I know.
- 1:00:06[SPEAKER_11]: And it looked like it just had silverware on it.
- 1:00:08[SPEAKER_11]: It was.
- 1:00:09[SPEAKER_03]: I told Rossley, if you picture the buffet pizza line, it's like free buffet pizza.
- 1:00:16[SPEAKER_03]: Now imagine that trying to be, you know,
- 1:00:20[SPEAKER_03]: those same people being civilized and getting on to a life of not a prayer.
- 1:00:26[SPEAKER_11]: And this was a rich one.
- 1:00:28[SPEAKER_11]: Like this was all whites on this goddamn thing.
- 1:00:30[SPEAKER_11]: I mean, I mean, and now we're seeing the cruise ship videos of, you know,
- 1:00:35[SPEAKER_11]: the other people who are just fighting on these ships over and over and over again.
- 1:00:41[SPEAKER_11]: Yep.
- 1:00:42[SPEAKER_11]: Have you seen these videos?
- 1:00:43[SPEAKER_11]: No.
- 1:00:43[SPEAKER_11]: Oh my god.
- 1:00:44[SPEAKER_11]: They've been going viral for better part of a year.
- 1:00:48[SPEAKER_11]: Just type in, go to Twitter and type in cruise ship flight.
- 1:00:51[SPEAKER_11]: Just a few haven't seen anything.
- 1:00:52[SPEAKER_03]: Have you seen any of these?
- 1:00:53[SPEAKER_11]: I don't know.
- 1:00:54[SPEAKER_11]: Come on.
- 1:00:55[SPEAKER_03]: My algorithm is completely devoid of cruise stuff.
- 1:01:03[SPEAKER_11]: No one hates a cruise more than Jesse.
- 1:01:05[SPEAKER_11]: No one hates a cruise more than Jesse.
- 1:01:08[SPEAKER_03]: I hate the whole idea.
- 1:01:13[SPEAKER_11]: So they're filming each other and then, yeah, go to the other ones, uh, blue, where there was like, it's like 50 on 50.
- 1:01:20[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, oh, this is the latest one.
- 1:01:22[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, I just saw this one today.
- 1:01:23[SPEAKER_03]: Oh God.
- 1:01:23[SPEAKER_11]: It's not a carnival cruise.
- 1:01:26[SPEAKER_11]: It's just, you can press play on the wall.
- 1:01:28[SPEAKER_03]: This may be obscene because you guys showed me.
- 1:01:30[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you, show them in here.
- 1:01:32[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 1:01:34[SPEAKER_03]: Something about Mary time law and just all of this, it's very scary, A.
- 1:01:43[SPEAKER_11]: So people come on these goddamn things and they think it's all inclusive, we're going to get free food, free drinks, you don't have to tip, you don't have to, no, on all these cruises there's a section where it's like one bar from like one to one 15, you can come and get free drinks and things, yeah, there's another one.
- 1:02:02[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, no, no, no, no, it's not Jared.
- 1:02:03[SPEAKER_03]: No.
- 1:02:05[SPEAKER_03]: Once he turned around, I was like, no, that's not Jared.
- 1:02:06[SPEAKER_11]: That's a Christian right there.
- 1:02:07[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:02:09[SPEAKER_11]: He didn't shit out of each other on these fucking cruises.
- 1:02:12[SPEAKER_11]: And there's nowhere to go.
- 1:02:15[SPEAKER_11]: So there is jails inside these things where they kind of put you down there and wait so you get to the port, then they throw you off and make you fly home on your boat.
- 1:02:23[SPEAKER_11]: Right, right, right.
- 1:02:24[SPEAKER_11]: And that's kind of the punishment for it.
- 1:02:25[SPEAKER_11]: Here's another one.
- 1:02:26[SPEAKER_11]: She's, oh, this one was wild, dude.
- 1:02:29[SPEAKER_03]: what was happening here.
- 1:02:31[SPEAKER_03]: Just fucking typical.
- 1:02:33[SPEAKER_03]: So it's like a bathing suit on the way.
- 1:02:38[SPEAKER_11]: A tit usually flies out on one of these.
- 1:02:40[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, this is girl.
- 1:02:42[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, yeah, dude, yeah.
- 1:02:44[SPEAKER_11]: Because when the buffet ends and there is an end to it,
- 1:02:49[SPEAKER_11]: people lose their minds because you have this image in your head where it's like do this is all inclusive.
- 1:02:54[SPEAKER_11]: I get to eat and drink all day long for free.
- 1:02:57[SPEAKER_11]: It is not true.
- 1:02:59[SPEAKER_11]: And then usually the drinks that they're serving are like watered down well, drinks that are bullshit.
- 1:03:03[SPEAKER_11]: So it forces you to buy alcohol and then people lose their goddamn minds.
- 1:03:08[SPEAKER_11]: There's always a fight at a pizza buffet.
- 1:03:11[SPEAKER_11]: because somebody's ate all the pizza, and they're like, hey guys, we're out.
- 1:03:14[SPEAKER_11]: It's like, no, no, it's supposed to be a little two a.m. Fuck you, no, fuck you.
- 1:03:18[SPEAKER_11]: And then they'll kick the shit out of each other.
- 1:03:21[SPEAKER_11]: This one was a fucking brawl, dude.
- 1:03:26[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah.
- 1:03:27[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah.
- 1:03:28[SPEAKER_03]: Brawl.
- 1:03:30[SPEAKER_11]: I like the street media.tv.
- 1:03:32[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, yeah.
- 1:03:32[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:03:33[SPEAKER_02]: This one just looks like, it's like a set-up.
- 1:03:36[SPEAKER_03]: It looks like a fucking cage match.
- 1:03:40[SPEAKER_03]: fading each other.
- 1:03:40[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:03:40[SPEAKER_03]: Whoa.
- 1:03:42[SPEAKER_03]: Whoa.
- 1:03:42[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:03:42[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:42[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:42[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:43[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:43[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:43[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:43[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:43[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:43[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:44[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:44[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:44[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:44[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:44[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:44[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:45[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:45[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:45[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:45[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:45[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:45[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:45[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:46[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:46[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:46[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:46[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:46[SPEAKER_11]: Hey.
- 1:03:46[SPEAKER_11]: Hey.
- 1:03:46[SPEAKER_11]: Hey.
- 1:03:47[SPEAKER_11]: Hey.
- 1:03:47[SPEAKER_11]: Hey.
- 1:03:47[SPEAKER_11]: Hey.
- 1:03:47[UNKNOWN]: Hey.
- 1:03:48[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:49[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:49[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:49[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:49[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:49[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:49[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:50[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:50[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:50[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:50[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:50[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:50[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:51[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:51[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:51[SPEAKER_11]: Hey.
- 1:03:51[SPEAKER_11]: Hey.
- 1:03:51[SPEAKER_11]: Hey.
- 1:03:52[SPEAKER_11]: Hey.
- 1:03:52[SPEAKER_11]: Hey.
- 1:03:52[SPEAKER_11]: Hey.
- 1:03:52[SPEAKER_11]: Hey.
- 1:03:53[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:53[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:54[SPEAKER_11]: Hey.
- 1:03:54[SPEAKER_11]: Hey.
- 1:03:54[SPEAKER_11]: Hey.
- 1:03:54[SPEAKER_11]: Hey.
- 1:03:55[SPEAKER_11]: Hey.
- 1:03:55[SPEAKER_11]: Hey.
- 1:03:55[SPEAKER_11]: Hey.
- 1:03:55[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:55[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:55[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:56[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:56[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:56[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:56[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:03:56[SPEAKER_11]: Hey.
- 1:03:56[SPEAKER_11]: Hey.
- 1:03:57[SPEAKER_11]: Hey.
- 1:03:57[SPEAKER_11]: Hey.
- 1:03:58[SPEAKER_11]: Hey.
- 1:03:58[SPEAKER_11]: Hey.
- 1:03:58[SPEAKER_11]: Hey.
- 1:03:58[SPEAKER_11]: Hey.
- 1:03:58[SPEAKER_11]: Hey.
- 1:03:58[SPEAKER_11]: Hey.
- 1:03:59[SPEAKER_11]: Hey.
- 1:03:59[SPEAKER_11]: Hey.
- 1:03:59[SPEAKER_11]: Hey.
- 1:03:59[SPEAKER_11]: Hey.
- 1:03:59[SPEAKER_11]: Hey.
- 1:04:00[SPEAKER_11]: Hey.
- 1:04:00[SPEAKER_11]: Hey.
- 1:04:00[SPEAKER_11]: Hey.
- 1:04:00[SPEAKER_11]: Hey.
- 1:04:01[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:04:01[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:04:02[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:04:02[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:04:02[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:04:02[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:04:02[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:04:02[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:04:02[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:04:02[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:04:03[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:04:03[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:04:03[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:04:03[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:04:03[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 1:04:03[SPEAKER_03]: Hey
- 1:04:05[SPEAKER_03]: You say, beat the braids off?
- 1:04:07[SPEAKER_11]: No, no, beat the braids.
- 1:04:09[SPEAKER_11]: Braids?
- 1:04:09[SPEAKER_11]: That would have been a great stuff, a great people.
- 1:04:11[SPEAKER_11]: But it's endless to the point where I don't know how you continue these fucking cruises.
- 1:04:16[SPEAKER_11]: I really don't.
- 1:04:19[SPEAKER_11]: Now, it used to be a culture, it used to be a huge thing.
- 1:04:22[SPEAKER_11]: It was an old lady on CBS on the morning show on Sunday who said she spent the last year.
- 1:04:29[SPEAKER_11]: Exclusively on cruises cruising around the world husband's dad.
- 1:04:35[SPEAKER_11]: She's got enough money Not to buy like the house that she wanted or anything but to be on a cruise the rest of her life and that's what she's gonna do Which sounds like my worst nightmare.
- 1:04:50[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, I mean a year on a fucking cruise ship my mom cruises a lot
- 1:04:56[SPEAKER_03]: And she's got a fair amount.
- 1:04:58[SPEAKER_03]: She cruises and she goes on trains.
- 1:05:00[SPEAKER_11]: She's got her horrific stories from these cruises, too, and I'm like, why do you keep doing this?
- 1:05:05[SPEAKER_03]: You go as if it was the last one.
- 1:05:07[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:05:08[SPEAKER_03]: She went with her sister.
- 1:05:11[SPEAKER_03]: And they went to the gym.
- 1:05:14[SPEAKER_03]: the cruise gym, which, first of all, don't walk around the deck, so she went on as she got on a treadmill and went too fast and freaking broken nose and then the pillow, my aunt did and then the people because it's like this, it's basically your, the law is the business of the cruise.
- 1:05:38[SPEAKER_03]: So nothing can like hurt the brand or the other people's experience.
- 1:05:43[SPEAKER_03]: So they've got her in a wheelchair.
- 1:05:44[SPEAKER_03]: They won't help her.
- 1:05:45[SPEAKER_03]: They're taking, you know, wheeling her into some underground place where they were probably just going to leave her to die.
- 1:05:50[SPEAKER_03]: And just be like, don't make it weird for the other people on the cruise.
- 1:05:55[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm very strange.
- 1:05:57[SPEAKER_03]: Don't, I don't, I don't like it.
- 1:05:59[SPEAKER_11]: I know.
- 1:06:00[SPEAKER_03]: And in this real scary, how much they care about
- 1:06:06[SPEAKER_03]: the ship and their, you know, their reputation, their name way more than they care about even the lives.
- 1:06:14[SPEAKER_11]: I cannot believe blue because they were to find this clip, dude.
- 1:06:17[SPEAKER_11]: This is what I watched.
- 1:06:19[SPEAKER_03]: How did you, I mean, I'm willing through the golden year.
- 1:06:22[SPEAKER_11]: Best play on this.
- 1:06:23[SPEAKER_11]: Just so Jesse can have an idea of what our life is gonna be like.
- 1:06:26[SPEAKER_09]: These are the golden years for Joe Johnston.
- 1:06:28[SPEAKER_09]: How many long-term cruises have you been on at this point?
- 1:06:31[SPEAKER_08]: I probably done six or eight cruises of 80 days or longer.
- 1:06:36[SPEAKER_08]: Is this home?
- 1:06:38[SPEAKER_08]: It is.
- 1:06:38[SPEAKER_08]: I sold everything that wouldn't fit my car and then I sold the car.
- 1:06:44[SPEAKER_09]: On board, the 69 year will get everything rolled into one, meals, travel, entertainment, and housing all for by her estimate, $100,000 a year.
- 1:06:54[SPEAKER_08]: What are the caveats?
- 1:06:56[SPEAKER_08]: What are the things that people should watch out for?
- 1:06:59[SPEAKER_08]: I think it's important to really track what you're spending in summer.
- 1:07:04[SPEAKER_08]: So I can tell you last year how much I spent on a per day on drinks or on short
- 1:07:12[SPEAKER_09]: We met Johnston on board Holland America's Green World voyage, as it traveled from Florida to Grand T-Men.
- 1:07:18[SPEAKER_09]: Hooray Tenawery over 124 days, we'll ultimately include Borgot, Cape Town, and Barcelona.
- 1:07:28[SPEAKER_09]: Once time was alongside a group of friends, she sailed with over the years.
- 1:07:33[SPEAKER_09]: Did you know each other before all of this?
- 1:07:35[SPEAKER_08]: No.
- 1:07:36[SPEAKER_08]: No.
- 1:07:36[SPEAKER_08]: We bet on the ship.
- 1:07:37[SPEAKER_09]: It's like you're traveling with a bunch of friends.
- 1:07:39[SPEAKER_09]: Exactly.
- 1:07:40[SPEAKER_09]: And family.
- 1:07:41[SPEAKER_09]: When you talk about loneliness and isolation, I'm like, ladies and gentlemen.
- 1:07:46[SPEAKER_09]: It seems like this is...
- 1:07:48[SPEAKER_08]: such a wonderful even stopping the cruise line, but also my friends, so they're so welcoming and they look after you.
- 1:07:56[SPEAKER_09]: A loyal following is one reason why Holland America has kicked off two of these cruisest simultaneously, but at a time, according to travel site cruise critic, more companies are adding longer haul trips, boyages at last three to six months.
- 1:08:12[SPEAKER_09]: at least a dozen world cruises are being offered this year alone a residential cruise even launched last fall where you can buy a cabin for a hundred and thirty thousand dollars in up.
- 1:08:23[SPEAKER_09]: Cut it ever.
- 1:08:25[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like a condo.
- 1:08:27[SPEAKER_01]: Sure.
- 1:08:28[SPEAKER_01]: One could are you.
- 1:08:30[SPEAKER_01]: It's all predicated on how you were living when you were.
- 1:08:32[SPEAKER_10]: I mean, honestly, overall, this sounds much better than a nursing.
- 1:08:35[SPEAKER_03]: That's what I was thinking.
- 1:08:36[SPEAKER_03]: It is.
- 1:08:37[SPEAKER_03]: It is.
- 1:08:37[SPEAKER_03]: It is actually
- 1:08:41[SPEAKER_03]: Then it would be great.
- 1:08:42[SPEAKER_03]: The problem is if there's even a hint of game game getting like a virus of any kind.
- 1:08:48[SPEAKER_03]: It may throw her down, bury the body.
- 1:08:50[SPEAKER_03]: We don't know what happened to her.
- 1:08:52[SPEAKER_03]: So it's like a,
- 1:08:55[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, like a nursing home where they're just not going to help you.
- 1:08:58[SPEAKER_11]: And if you think she's lying by the way, watch this shipwreck doc on Netflix, it was number one.
- 1:09:02[SPEAKER_11]: So we just started watching it.
- 1:09:04[SPEAKER_11]: And I, but there's a vaguely remember us talking about the story.
- 1:09:07[SPEAKER_11]: Only because not because the people that died know that shit with the boat was sticking out of the water.
- 1:09:11[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, for you.
- 1:09:11[SPEAKER_03]: You have no way of getting it out.
- 1:09:14[SPEAKER_03]: So it was sort of this just sideways monstrosity that we're just sitting in the ocean coast of Rome, I think, for.
- 1:09:24[SPEAKER_11]: I think three years something crazy I look at you can look up the name of the look, but You know as it's going to be a or something coupe if if if if crime corner wise like if you're looking at it of like oh hey does the captain really go down with the boy with a ship and all that other stuff nope He taught everybody to stay on board and he goes everything's fun on the first life boat.
- 1:09:46[SPEAKER_03]: It it was a really good one I recommend
- 1:09:50[SPEAKER_11]: I reckon there's there's you know how we recommend these documentary is they typically focus on like four to six people and it's their interviews throughout two out of the six I hated so much that I didn't want them to live and I was like man I know they're doing the interviews.
- 1:10:06[SPEAKER_11]: That means they must have but like fuck
- 1:10:09[SPEAKER_03]: He's like, maybe they died during the day.
- 1:10:11[SPEAKER_11]: He's right after shortly after where it's just like, you're hoping for one of those, like, not teenagers, but some things comes at the end.
- 1:10:18[SPEAKER_11]: And we have a lot of cancer.
- 1:10:19[SPEAKER_11]: Yes, that's what I want our AIDS, something.
- 1:10:22[SPEAKER_03]: Like the ship from shipwrecked is.
- 1:10:25[SPEAKER_02]: There's a guy named, named Nicknamed Super Mario, who's been living on the Royal Caribbean International since 2000.
- 1:10:34[SPEAKER_02]: And aside from a 15 day stint on land during COVID,
- 1:10:39[SPEAKER_02]: you stayed on the ship.
- 1:10:40[SPEAKER_02]: Holy shit man.
- 1:10:42[SPEAKER_02]: That's working.
- 1:10:43[SPEAKER_03]: That's for some of them like he could be.
- 1:10:47[SPEAKER_03]: It is a job.
- 1:10:49[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 1:10:50[SPEAKER_02]: Or is he rich enough?
- 1:10:53[SPEAKER_02]: I think it was an American businessman.
- 1:10:55[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah.
- 1:10:56[SPEAKER_11]: So yeah, he's just rich enough.
- 1:10:58[SPEAKER_11]: He's living.
- 1:10:58[SPEAKER_11]: So 26 years.
- 1:10:59[SPEAKER_11]: He's been on cruise ships nonstop.
- 1:11:02[SPEAKER_11]: Could you do it?
- 1:11:03[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, I don't know that I, for me, I don't mind cruises I've had fun on them.
- 1:11:08[SPEAKER_10]: Almost every cruise I've been on is resulted in a disaster, but for the most part, I enjoyed it.
- 1:11:12[SPEAKER_10]: But every time I go on cruise, oh, yes.
- 1:11:15[SPEAKER_10]: Well, I, one of the stories I'll tell you off, I'll tell you both stories off air.
- 1:11:20[SPEAKER_10]: She's this, but the main thing that I struggle with is I get this thing.
- 1:11:24[SPEAKER_10]: I think it's called like Malady Barcations Syndrome or something like that.
- 1:11:27[SPEAKER_10]: So for a good three to six months after I get off the boat, I still feel like I'm on a boat.
- 1:11:31[SPEAKER_10]: So I just don't go, wow.
- 1:11:36[SPEAKER_10]: It's like an inner ear thing.
- 1:11:37[SPEAKER_10]: Three to six months.
- 1:11:38[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, it's a fucking nightmare.
- 1:11:40[SPEAKER_10]: And for some people, it doesn't go away.
- 1:11:42[SPEAKER_10]: So I'm just not going to take the risk.
- 1:11:43[SPEAKER_10]: Because I've had a twice in its socks.
- 1:11:45[SPEAKER_10]: It lasts fucking months.
- 1:11:47[SPEAKER_11]: Wow, dude.
- 1:11:48[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, God, I hate Chris.
- 1:11:51[SPEAKER_10]: I know that.
- 1:11:52[SPEAKER_11]: Well, you know, the drinking bro's Chris Chatsy had to lay down.
- 1:11:54[SPEAKER_11]: She was just like, I can't.
- 1:11:56[SPEAKER_10]: I can't move here.
- 1:11:58[SPEAKER_10]: I can't fucking move.
- 1:11:59[SPEAKER_03]: But also...
- 1:12:02[SPEAKER_11]: The drama, the drama mean.
- 1:12:04[SPEAKER_03]: And yeah, I just, I just hate it.
- 1:12:06[SPEAKER_11]: I know it's a lot because you do feel like that.
- 1:12:09[SPEAKER_11]: And we were, I think it was like a hurricane or something coming in afterwards.
- 1:12:13[SPEAKER_11]: So remember they just speed up the boat towards the end.
- 1:12:16[SPEAKER_11]: There was some massive storm coming and said, it's speed up the boat.
- 1:12:19[SPEAKER_11]: You get definitely feel this thing moving.
- 1:12:22[SPEAKER_11]: And I think it was Jared who was just like, we're supposed to fill this with our cruisers that we weren't supposed to fill.
- 1:12:26[SPEAKER_03]: And that's how they got me on the cruise guys, by the way, is because they get very C6.
- 1:12:31[SPEAKER_03]: So I was like, I can't.
- 1:12:33[SPEAKER_03]: And they're like, it's huge.
- 1:12:35[SPEAKER_03]: You can't even feel it moving, cut to like some big storm coming.
- 1:12:39[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm just like, who?
- 1:12:40[SPEAKER_03]: And they had to cast it.
- 1:12:41[SPEAKER_11]: The home boy had to gas it.
- 1:12:43[SPEAKER_11]: And it was like, oh, boy.
- 1:12:44[SPEAKER_03]: So they lied.
- 1:12:45[SPEAKER_03]: Again, to get me to work.
- 1:12:48[SPEAKER_11]: Uh-huh.
- 1:12:49[SPEAKER_11]: So...
- 1:12:49[SPEAKER_11]: But the weird thing about not having TV shows and all these stocks is like, I get locked in.
- 1:12:55[SPEAKER_11]: Hmm.
- 1:12:57[SPEAKER_11]: What was the one we started last night?
- 1:12:58[SPEAKER_11]: It was found out there was going to be like nine episodes of it.
- 1:13:02[SPEAKER_03]: A burning man.
- 1:13:03[SPEAKER_11]: That's it.
- 1:13:04[SPEAKER_11]: All in on that burning man dock.
- 1:13:06[SPEAKER_11]: I did not know Elon Musk brother was on the board of burning man.
- 1:13:10[SPEAKER_03]: You guys.
- 1:13:12[SPEAKER_03]: He's in a cowboy hat.
- 1:13:14[SPEAKER_03]: Start the man.
- 1:13:16[SPEAKER_03]: Is it the man must burn?
- 1:13:19[SPEAKER_11]: I think so.
- 1:13:20[SPEAKER_03]: The man will burn.
- 1:13:21[SPEAKER_11]: The man will burn.
- 1:13:23[SPEAKER_03]: Um, start it.
- 1:13:24[SPEAKER_03]: It's just started.
- 1:13:26[SPEAKER_11]: We're we're already through up to so one day now.
- 1:13:28[SPEAKER_11]: Holy shit.
- 1:13:30[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, yeah.
- 1:13:32[SPEAKER_11]: It's.
- 1:13:34[SPEAKER_11]: it rocks and it's also super bizarre and, you know, it always takes a dark turn.
- 1:13:39[SPEAKER_03]: It starts out with the real true victims of the COVID-19 crisis, which were burners, not knowing whether or not there was going to be a burn.
- 1:13:50[SPEAKER_03]: And when I tell you that's exactly how they treated it, I mean, you would have thought that all of, you know, like no one was done, nothing else
- 1:14:03[SPEAKER_10]: this horrible tragedy of not has anybody cry when they talk about it all of them all of them no every single one that's it's their life to the casualties
- 1:14:14[SPEAKER_03]: of COVID-19 pale in comparison to what has happened to these people when they didn't get to burn the man.
- 1:14:23[SPEAKER_03]: Those one or two years.
- 1:14:24[SPEAKER_03]: I actually don't know.
- 1:14:25[SPEAKER_03]: I can't remember.
- 1:14:26[SPEAKER_03]: I was dealing with the COVID-19 crisis.
- 1:14:29[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, they we so we were at the end of the first episode.
- 1:14:33[SPEAKER_11]: They said we're canceling due to COVID.
- 1:14:35[SPEAKER_11]: It's we're not there yet.
- 1:14:36[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, okay.
- 1:14:37[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 1:14:37[SPEAKER_11]: Don't spoil it for me.
- 1:14:39[SPEAKER_03]: Don't spoil it.
- 1:14:39[SPEAKER_11]: It's what I'm saying.
- 1:14:41[SPEAKER_11]: But as we're watching this goddamn thing unfolds, here's the wild thing, because they're all super liberal.
- 1:14:47[SPEAKER_03]: Who's just turned to a moon document?
- 1:14:49[SPEAKER_11]: COVID, once they canceled Burning Man, they turned on each other, because they were like, lock this.
- 1:14:56[SPEAKER_11]: We are mass up.
- 1:14:57[SPEAKER_11]: We are six feet away from everyone and we're in separation or living by ourselves.
- 1:15:03[SPEAKER_11]: But now that you've canceled burning man fuck you and like I mean it is literally women screaming fuck you what the the one girl called the dude a pussy who's here you're a fucking pussy yeah you're a fucking pussy mean whether all mass up and you're just like okay
- 1:15:18[SPEAKER_03]: So you can't really understand what they're saying, what they're calling them fucking pussy, isn't that like, through the mask.
- 1:15:24[SPEAKER_11]: You fucking pussy.
- 1:15:25[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, doors, you know.
- 1:15:26[SPEAKER_11]: And one of them just pulls the mask down.
- 1:15:28[SPEAKER_03]: Look at this shot that blue found.
- 1:15:31[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, beautiful, dude.
- 1:15:32[SPEAKER_11]: Let's burn.
- 1:15:33[SPEAKER_03]: So we left off where they may have canceled it, but people were still gonna go out there.
- 1:15:41[SPEAKER_11]: They didn't know what's gonna happen.
- 1:15:42[SPEAKER_11]: And the woman pulls down her mask.
- 1:15:45[SPEAKER_11]: And somebody backs out of the face
- 1:15:49[SPEAKER_11]: They were like, what do you think of them as you go fucking pussies and then put the mask back up and I was like, yeah, yep, but it's all these people who were single living in like a 300 square foot studio behind their computer just waiting for this this one thing and the man must burn.
- 1:16:08[SPEAKER_11]: I didn't know the backstory that started on the beach and like what was it San Francisco or something like that.
- 1:16:13[SPEAKER_11]: And it started with a dude that was about coupe site.
- 1:16:16[SPEAKER_11]: And it was they just made a little straw man and then they burned it on the beach and then it turned into this huge bucket.
- 1:16:21[SPEAKER_03]: That's the part of the story that I really liked and what we kind of all know about burning man, which is like it started out kind of cool and then got ruined by.
- 1:16:31[SPEAKER_11]: Celebrities.
- 1:16:31[SPEAKER_11]: Everyone.
- 1:16:32[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 1:16:33[SPEAKER_11]: Celebrities.
- 1:16:34[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:16:34[SPEAKER_03]: Money.
- 1:16:35[SPEAKER_03]: Celebrities.
- 1:16:36[SPEAKER_11]: But seeing the Elon Musk brother was on the board.
- 1:16:40[SPEAKER_03]: That was awesome.
- 1:16:41[SPEAKER_03]: He rolled in in a cowboy hat, guys.
- 1:16:43[SPEAKER_02]: Rich is fucked.
- 1:16:43[SPEAKER_02]: Have you never seen it?
- 1:16:44[SPEAKER_02]: He always wears a cowboy hat.
- 1:16:46[SPEAKER_03]: I did not know that.
- 1:16:47[SPEAKER_11]: I didn't hear everything.
- 1:16:48[SPEAKER_11]: We had we didn't know that.
- 1:16:49[SPEAKER_03]: We didn't know that.
- 1:16:50[SPEAKER_11]: We didn't know, but it makes total sense.
- 1:16:52[SPEAKER_03]: We outlawed Musk, brother.
- 1:16:54[SPEAKER_03]: Like I know.
- 1:16:55[SPEAKER_03]: Hang on.
- 1:16:55[SPEAKER_11]: If you, you learn Musk loves drugs and hallucinogens and all that other stuff, right?
- 1:17:00[SPEAKER_11]: I guarantee you he was probably out of burning man and he said, look.
- 1:17:06[SPEAKER_11]: Why don't you take over this thing and make sure that it goes on and I'll finance it.
- 1:17:11[SPEAKER_03]: Well, he just came in during the, um, when they were going to cancel it.
- 1:17:16[SPEAKER_11]: Right.
- 1:17:17[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, okay.
- 1:17:17[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
- 1:17:17[SPEAKER_03]: So you're saying like, yeah, I'm not sure.
- 1:17:20[SPEAKER_11]: It was time to mask up and it goes luck.
- 1:17:22[SPEAKER_03]: But it's also, I get a job for you.
- 1:17:24[SPEAKER_03]: Million multi multi multi million dollar business, uh, burning man itself, which I had no idea.
- 1:17:30[SPEAKER_11]: Yep.
- 1:17:30[SPEAKER_11]: So, you know, if this is where nice to the North, I was shocked.
- 1:17:34[SPEAKER_11]: I was like, this is nuts, man.
- 1:17:37[SPEAKER_11]: their production office was in the same.
- 1:17:39[SPEAKER_03]: Sorry, this has turned into a movie and documentary podcast.
- 1:17:45[SPEAKER_11]: Don't care.
- 1:17:46[SPEAKER_11]: Like, we're an entertainment show.
- 1:17:48[SPEAKER_11]: This is the entertainment that God has given us.
- 1:17:50[SPEAKER_03]: All right.
- 1:17:51[SPEAKER_03]: We recommend the only part that I so far that I really hold in.
- 1:17:57[SPEAKER_11]: Culture show.
- 1:17:57[SPEAKER_11]: No, I love.
- 1:17:58[SPEAKER_03]: I love.
- 1:17:59[SPEAKER_11]: I love lines of burning, man, right?
- 1:18:01[SPEAKER_11]: Now I'll
- 1:18:06[SPEAKER_11]: All of them, you know, across the board, because the liberal shit goes out the window and then they're just topless rolling around the sand and Fucking jousting each other with with wood swords inside of a fucking cage and you're like, oh, that's who you really are and then they go back to real life
- 1:18:27[SPEAKER_11]: and it's some fucking nerdy lady with a cat saying fuck the world to everybody on Twitter and you're like, I don't understand, man, you were so cool at Burning Man.
- 1:18:36[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 1:18:36[SPEAKER_11]: You were the person that you wanted to be.
- 1:18:38[SPEAKER_03]: But I will say, which I've always kind of known, like Burning Man again is a highly organized, curated, like you have to, you know, you have your camping spot.
- 1:18:50[SPEAKER_03]: Like it's a very, yeah, there's,
- 1:18:53[SPEAKER_03]: there's greeters, there's box office.
- 1:18:55[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, this has turned into, you know, can get you a lot of structure.
- 1:19:01[SPEAKER_11]: And I get you to go to Burning Moon.
- 1:19:03[SPEAKER_03]: No.
- 1:19:04[SPEAKER_03]: What are you talking about?
- 1:19:07[SPEAKER_03]: What are you talking about?
- 1:19:10[SPEAKER_03]: If everyone in Ohio couldn't get me to go, if everyone in Los Phyllis and Echo Park couldn't get me to go, if all of our, you know, Ragtag ridiculous friends, uh, a many of which Coupe knows couldn't get me to go.
- 1:19:26[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, you're not going.
- 1:19:28[SPEAKER_03]: You're, you're going to get me to go.
- 1:19:31[SPEAKER_11]: I want to see, because there was one part, she won't, she won't admit this live on air.
- 1:19:35[SPEAKER_11]: There was one part that was like a drone shot of all the shit going on, like a some ferris wheel or some, and like a laser show coming out of the DJ booth.
- 1:19:44[SPEAKER_11]: She was like, oh shit, it looks pretty cool.
- 1:19:47[SPEAKER_03]: And I was like, whoa, it looks, we go to fucking burning them.
- 1:19:50[SPEAKER_03]: It looks cool.
- 1:19:52[SPEAKER_03]: It's an art installation, many art installations in the middle of a desert wasteland.
- 1:19:58[SPEAKER_03]: Like it's going to look fucking rad.
- 1:20:01[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you know, I don't know if I can completely forgotten my roots, but I can't go.
- 1:20:09[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, if I could go there for like three hours earlier in the morning, so it's not so hot and there was No, my gosh before everybody wakes up.
- 1:20:16[SPEAKER_10]: Before without even anybody there, then I would go.
- 1:20:19[SPEAKER_03]: Yep, I would go.
- 1:20:20[SPEAKER_03]: I would go.
- 1:20:21[SPEAKER_03]: I would go.
- 1:20:22[SPEAKER_03]: Fly helicopter in.
- 1:20:24[SPEAKER_03]: Really, really early, nobody's woke and up yet, they've stayed up all night.
- 1:20:29[SPEAKER_03]: We can stroll through with a Starbucks.
- 1:20:35[SPEAKER_03]: And just kind of check out everything, like it probably would be amazing, right?
- 1:20:42[SPEAKER_03]: And then just hop back on on the chopper and go that would be, yeah, then I'd go to burning man.
- 1:20:49[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 1:20:49[SPEAKER_02]: You guys want to hear the 10 principles of burning man.
- 1:20:52[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, please.
- 1:20:52[SPEAKER_03]: Please.
- 1:20:53[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 1:20:54[SPEAKER_02]: We got radical inclusion.
- 1:20:56[SPEAKER_02]: We got gifting.
- 1:20:57[SPEAKER_02]: We got decommodification.
- 1:21:00[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 1:21:01[SPEAKER_02]: Radical self reliance.
- 1:21:02[SPEAKER_02]: Why is it all radical?
- 1:21:04[SPEAKER_03]: Because it's burning man, because you can't just say like self-reliance, you're like, well, what do you mean by the self-reliance?
- 1:21:13[SPEAKER_03]: You have to be like super self-reliance.
- 1:21:16[SPEAKER_03]: Go ahead.
- 1:21:17[SPEAKER_02]: Radical self-expression.
- 1:21:18[SPEAKER_03]: Exactly.
- 1:21:19[SPEAKER_03]: You can't just say self-expression, because that could mean guns.
- 1:21:24[SPEAKER_11]: They're going to show it up with whole season.
- 1:21:26[SPEAKER_03]: They're crossing themselves.
- 1:21:28[SPEAKER_03]: All right, go ahead.
- 1:21:29[SPEAKER_02]: A communal effort.
- 1:21:30[SPEAKER_02]: There you go.
- 1:21:31[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 1:21:31[SPEAKER_02]: Big responsibility.
- 1:21:32[SPEAKER_02]: Of course, leaving no trace.
- 1:21:35[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, that one.
- 1:21:36[SPEAKER_02]: They kind of have to have.
- 1:21:37[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like they probably wouldn't be allowed back.
- 1:21:39[SPEAKER_02]: They didn't have that.
- 1:21:39[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, but I will give them that.
- 1:21:41[SPEAKER_10]: They do clean up after each festival really, really well.
- 1:21:44[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 1:21:44[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, they have a bunch of people that do that.
- 1:21:47[SPEAKER_03]: Like this is a Disney land.
- 1:21:49[SPEAKER_03]: They got one here.
- 1:21:50[SPEAKER_03]: They got one here.
- 1:21:53[SPEAKER_03]: millions, again, millions and millions of dollars that I saw.
- 1:21:57[SPEAKER_02]: What's the next one?
- 1:21:58[SPEAKER_02]: Participation.
- 1:21:59[SPEAKER_03]: Sure.
- 1:22:00[SPEAKER_03]: Can't owe.
- 1:22:01[SPEAKER_03]: So we wouldn't be able to go coop because you have to part.
- 1:22:04[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, you can't watch it.
- 1:22:06[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, you got to participate.
- 1:22:08[SPEAKER_02]: I refuse to participate in anything immediacy.
- 1:22:12[SPEAKER_02]: What's that mean, just speak more on that.
- 1:22:15[SPEAKER_02]: It's happening now and not and now, oh, like no one to happen any other time.
- 1:22:20[SPEAKER_02]: That's right.
- 1:22:21[SPEAKER_03]: So if somebody takes off their top, no, no, no.
- 1:22:24[SPEAKER_11]: camera's no right and it's like hey if somebody takes off the top and she says the coop throw some mod of my tips you dump bitch he's got to do it that's a medius like it you're in the moment you got to do this immediately can't think about it just do it you just do all right I understand that one
- 1:22:40[SPEAKER_02]: I think that was the last of the 10, but then this article goes on, it talks about the public sex and nudity going on.
- 1:22:47[SPEAKER_02]: You got to be open for that.
- 1:22:48[SPEAKER_02]: You got to have an open mind, obviously.
- 1:22:50[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously.
- 1:22:52[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously.
- 1:22:52[SPEAKER_02]: Substance is, lots of substance is going around.
- 1:22:55[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:22:56[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 1:22:57[SPEAKER_11]: That's the one way you could get through it.
- 1:22:58[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 1:22:59[SPEAKER_11]: I couldn't imagine doing this thing sober.
- 1:23:01[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 1:23:02[SPEAKER_11]: I've only watched one episode, but no.
- 1:23:03[SPEAKER_03]: And mostly because of the people.
- 1:23:09[SPEAKER_03]: So if you're gonna have the conversations a little bit that I heard going on.
- 1:23:12[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, these are like tech people that are pretending to be like, like they're the kind of things that's rave, like little child ravers, yeah.
- 1:23:21[SPEAKER_03]: If they're released,
- 1:23:24[SPEAKER_03]: Um, you know, we've talked a lot on the show about Burning Man.
- 1:23:28[SPEAKER_03]: We've known many people that have gone to Burning Man and have not come back mentally.
- 1:23:32[SPEAKER_03]: Do you know what I'm saying?
- 1:23:34[SPEAKER_03]: So they're, they're into it now.
- 1:23:37[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:23:38[SPEAKER_03]: And then this documentary follows many groups of people that they're working on.
- 1:23:43[SPEAKER_03]: Again, they're working on their burn experience, the entire year.
- 1:23:47[SPEAKER_03]: they've sold houses, they've sold stuff, you know, quit jobs, yes, everything they have to work on these extravagant art installation floats their camp for the entire year before the next burn.
- 1:24:05[SPEAKER_11]: And I love it, by the way.
- 1:24:06[SPEAKER_11]: Of course.
- 1:24:06[SPEAKER_11]: I love it.
- 1:24:07[SPEAKER_11]: I love the dedication to it.
- 1:24:09[SPEAKER_11]: Thank you.
- 1:24:09[SPEAKER_11]: I do too.
- 1:24:10[SPEAKER_11]: You're building these vehicles here that's a fight each other out in the desert.
- 1:24:15[SPEAKER_11]: kind of dinosaur mails.
- 1:24:17[SPEAKER_03]: Mad Max one, the Thunderdome.
- 1:24:19[SPEAKER_11]: Oh yeah.
- 1:24:19[SPEAKER_03]: That one looked.
- 1:24:21[SPEAKER_03]: Coup would be in that one, don't you think?
- 1:24:22[SPEAKER_11]: I think so.
- 1:24:23[SPEAKER_11]: So it's like girls in their fleece.
- 1:24:25[SPEAKER_03]: The one place where?
- 1:24:27[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 1:24:29[SPEAKER_03]: The one place where it was all kind of like, just like metal, dark.
- 1:24:33[SPEAKER_03]: You know what I mean?
- 1:24:34[SPEAKER_03]: Like people and letters, Mad Max.
- 1:24:37[SPEAKER_03]: Everyone else is like fairy.
- 1:24:38[SPEAKER_03]: very princess butterflies and then in Thunderdome it was like these are where all the hard core fucking metal burners go And if it's it's nothing but like chains leather and sweaty men that's every place I hung out in 100% electric church church in Austin
- 1:24:56[SPEAKER_11]: This is it right here, Cruz.
- 1:24:57[SPEAKER_11]: So look, you can fight women, you can fight dudes.
- 1:25:00[SPEAKER_11]: Look at that, that's like the thunder, that's like thunder, no.
- 1:25:03[SPEAKER_11]: Okay, that does look kind of fun.
- 1:25:04[SPEAKER_03]: I like that.
- 1:25:05[SPEAKER_03]: That looks like Tina Turner, you know what I mean?
- 1:25:09[SPEAKER_11]: Are you ready to fuck slabs?
- 1:25:11[SPEAKER_03]: And then they just throw each other.
- 1:25:13[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and then that beat each other up while flying through the air do beat in the shit out of all them right there some drugs into the mix that does sound like a good time right if you were like on top Look, we're going madmax flames behind like fuck it dude.
- 1:25:28[SPEAKER_03]: It really is impressive.
- 1:25:29[SPEAKER_03]: It really is super impressive What these people do out in the desert
- 1:25:33[SPEAKER_03]: It really is.
- 1:25:34[SPEAKER_11]: And how do you get that goddamn thing out there?
- 1:25:36[SPEAKER_11]: That's the other thing.
- 1:25:37[SPEAKER_03]: That's what we see in the show is like, first of all, they have to like build it, disassemble.
- 1:25:43[SPEAKER_11]: That's like a match.
- 1:25:44[SPEAKER_03]: Put it into you halls and shit and get it out to the desert.
- 1:25:48[SPEAKER_03]: Reassemble it.
- 1:25:50[SPEAKER_03]: before Burning Man there was a one year I might have been last year where it rained and and all the sand just turns into the past the past two years have been it just debocals like that were like you can't get out or sandstorms are just like crazyness.
- 1:26:07[SPEAKER_10]: Wait, it wasn't that, uh, I think that flood was like last year and wasn't there some big celebrity that was trapped out there that was, uh, that I think he, I mean, someone picked him up immediately and took him out.
- 1:26:19[SPEAKER_03]: Forever enough.
- 1:26:20[SPEAKER_03]: Do you know what I mean?
- 1:26:20[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 1:26:21[SPEAKER_11]: If your Chris Rock can get out of there no matter what, it's as well as someone's essay of a look.
- 1:26:26[SPEAKER_11]: your stuck for three days, not Chris Rock.
- 1:26:29[SPEAKER_11]: He got out of his own shit.
- 1:26:31[SPEAKER_11]: Wave took off his little scarf on his face, and all that shit was like, hey, I'm Chris Rock.
- 1:26:36[SPEAKER_11]: You want to give me a ride?
- 1:26:37[SPEAKER_11]: This will be a fun story.
- 1:26:37[SPEAKER_11]: You guys can post on social media.
- 1:26:39[SPEAKER_11]: And they're like, fuck yeah.
- 1:26:41[SPEAKER_11]: Chris Rock is so famous.
- 1:26:42[SPEAKER_11]: You could drop him off in any town, anywhere he'll have enough money to eat nice hotel and get him stuff to fuck out of wherever he's at.
- 1:26:51[SPEAKER_10]: He could find people that would just
- 1:26:56[SPEAKER_11]: We're in like a kind of an office structure here, right, and Chris Rock was just walking down the road back here in the middle of nowhere, and he's like, hey man, I need a ride.
- 1:27:05[SPEAKER_11]: Oh cool man, I'll give you a ride your Chris Rock, right?
- 1:27:07[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 1:27:07[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, you can have a Mac on it.
- 1:27:08[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, done deal.
- 1:27:09[SPEAKER_10]: You mean me to drive you all the way to New York?
- 1:27:11[SPEAKER_10]: We can leave right now.
- 1:27:12[SPEAKER_11]: Now, if it's a tall skinny black turn, he's kind of cracked out, looking like Christchurch, like no, I would do that.
- 1:27:17[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:27:18[SPEAKER_11]: But yeah, there was a bunch of, oh, there he is.
- 1:27:20[SPEAKER_11]: Shit.
- 1:27:20[SPEAKER_02]: Guys, you already found that clip?
- 1:27:22[SPEAKER_02]: Look at him.
- 1:27:22[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's Diplo and Christchurch.
- 1:27:24[SPEAKER_02]: And this is, so this is Diplo.
- 1:27:25[SPEAKER_02]: Are they talking?
- 1:27:26[SPEAKER_02]: TikTok.
- 1:27:26[SPEAKER_03]: No, they're in the car together.
- 1:27:28[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but are they talking about it?
- 1:27:30[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 1:27:31[SPEAKER_03]: About being stuck, I don't know.
- 1:27:32[SPEAKER_03]: Yep.
- 1:27:33[SPEAKER_01]: This is what you're thinking about going through right now.
- 1:27:39[SPEAKER_11]: Anyone's a cold brew?
- 1:27:40[SPEAKER_11]: Culp brew, though, it's coffee.
- 1:27:44[SPEAKER_11]: He's exactly what it was.
- 1:27:45[SPEAKER_11]: If I could get a cold brew, I could come right now.
- 1:27:50[SPEAKER_11]: So that's what a cold brew does for Chris Rock.
- 1:27:53[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
- 1:27:54[SPEAKER_11]: Right, I thought he was going to say cold brew and like a beer like all right cool amount.
- 1:28:00[SPEAKER_11]: No, just give me a nice nitro brew from Starbucks and I'll come all over fucking someone's dog.
- 1:28:08[SPEAKER_03]: Different strokes.
- 1:28:09[SPEAKER_03]: We don't kink shame here.
- 1:28:10[SPEAKER_11]: We don't, but that's uh, that's not it.
- 1:28:14[SPEAKER_11]: And now that's not the experience.
- 1:28:16[SPEAKER_03]: And that's made out of the wet mud sand mud.
- 1:28:20[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, and look at that beautiful sculpture.
- 1:28:22[SPEAKER_11]: That's great.
- 1:28:23[SPEAKER_03]: Isn't everyone there's an artist?
- 1:28:25[SPEAKER_03]: I'm like crazy.
- 1:28:26[SPEAKER_11]: You have to be.
- 1:28:27[SPEAKER_03]: Yep.
- 1:28:27[SPEAKER_11]: I think that's part of it.
- 1:28:29[SPEAKER_11]: But no, let's face it's what it's turned into the last few years.
- 1:28:32[SPEAKER_11]: I would, what we've heard is like people just want to fuck.
- 1:28:35[SPEAKER_11]: I don't know, like, hey, we're still going to dance for a little bit.
- 1:28:38[SPEAKER_03]: Dude, or some person got run over.
- 1:28:42[SPEAKER_03]: Last year I think got killed.
- 1:28:44[SPEAKER_11]: I think it was two people that got killed last year at Burning Man.
- 1:28:47[SPEAKER_11]: So, you know, they've got their issues just like everybody else speaking of the fucking death.
- 1:28:53[SPEAKER_11]: So the last one thing I wanted to bring up to you was this boat case is starting to get a lot of press is like the third boat case and like the last six months where somebody's either jumped off a boat.
- 1:29:06[SPEAKER_11]: push off a boat and the police need to investigate, but I just don't know how you prove this shit.
- 1:29:11[SPEAKER_11]: Have you guys done any of these cases on crime corner?
- 1:29:14[SPEAKER_03]: We've done boat stuff, yeah, but it was definitely... Did you want a turner?
- 1:29:18[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm saying boat stuff, just so not to be confused.
- 1:29:23[SPEAKER_11]: With not to be confused with the enclosing.
- 1:29:24[SPEAKER_03]: Don't boat stuff.
- 1:29:26[SPEAKER_11]: Okay.
- 1:29:27[SPEAKER_03]: Boat stuff.
- 1:29:28[SPEAKER_11]: Not butt stuff.
- 1:29:29[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, and so... Great.
- 1:29:31[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but it was like proven that that's how...
- 1:29:34[SPEAKER_03]: uh, they were murdered.
- 1:29:37[SPEAKER_03]: Um, we've also done the Natalie Wood case.
- 1:29:40[SPEAKER_03]: That one's still high.
- 1:29:41[SPEAKER_03]: That's a bad idea.
- 1:29:42[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:29:42[SPEAKER_11]: I still want to turn it out.
- 1:29:43[SPEAKER_11]: Not only wood is what I'm not.
- 1:29:44[SPEAKER_11]: I'm sorry.
- 1:29:44[SPEAKER_03]: Now, there is a couple, which one are you talking about?
- 1:29:47[SPEAKER_11]: This one right here.
- 1:29:48[SPEAKER_11]: It's uh, it was a black kid and a white kid.
- 1:29:51[SPEAKER_10]: And they were on this boat.
- 1:29:53[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, yeah.
- 1:29:54[SPEAKER_10]: I've seen this one going around.
- 1:29:55[SPEAKER_10]: Everybody's trying to protect her.
- 1:29:57[SPEAKER_10]: It's in Texas.
- 1:29:58[SPEAKER_03]: Water.
- 1:29:58[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:29:59[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I thought you were talking about the
- 1:30:05[SPEAKER_11]: I think that might be the same one no no that was the that was the one the husband and wife.
- 1:30:10[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, okay
- 1:30:13[SPEAKER_11]: The legend, she fell off the back of the boat.
- 1:30:17[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, no, no, I'm talking to him another a little bit older.
- 1:30:21[SPEAKER_11]: I'm talking to him, but there's not a bunch of these.
- 1:30:23[SPEAKER_03]: Blackhead, the apparently he stayed because they went to like a party on an island, docked up, and then he met a girl because it was like a big huge party for the July.
- 1:30:34[SPEAKER_03]: He wanted to stay.
- 1:30:35[SPEAKER_03]: His friends left in the boat.
- 1:30:37[SPEAKER_03]: And then
- 1:30:39[SPEAKER_03]: he was found.
- 1:30:40[SPEAKER_11]: I just don't know how you prove this shit.
- 1:30:42[SPEAKER_11]: That's what I wonder because there's no cameras out there.
- 1:30:46[SPEAKER_11]: And is there a way, again, because you guys have done one of these, is there a way that you can prove that somebody pushed somebody after the fact and then and then pull their drowning body out of the water and be like, well, he was bushed.
- 1:30:58[SPEAKER_03]: No, there'd have to be some kind of, and even like a blunt force, it would be like he hit his head.
- 1:31:03[SPEAKER_03]: Do you know what I mean?
- 1:31:08[SPEAKER_10]: All right, it'd be, it'd be almost entirely circumstantial evidence that you'd be relying on to proof that there was malicious intent.
- 1:31:14[SPEAKER_11]: So there's three of these cases going on.
- 1:31:16[SPEAKER_11]: One of them, they were marching this week, and they said, hey, we want the evidence and all this other sheds, and it was one white kid, one black kid on a boat, black kid dies, and they're saying, hey, we need this investigated and something's a lie here.
- 1:31:33[SPEAKER_11]: And I look at these things and I'm like, how do you prove it?
- 1:31:37[SPEAKER_11]: Unless you're out there, no idea.
- 1:31:40[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you can't really prove it.
- 1:31:44[SPEAKER_11]: Because all these people that were marching yesterday on the news, I was like, all right, but you don't know at when.
- 1:31:49[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, one of them was the main and wife one was the cell phone.
- 1:31:55[SPEAKER_03]: the man and wife one.
- 1:31:56[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, whether they were married for like 18 years or something.
- 1:32:01[SPEAKER_11]: And I think it was the daughter or the son of the mom, which was like, hey, I want this investigated.
- 1:32:06[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:32:06[SPEAKER_11]: And he didn't call 911 for like an hour later, said he couldn't get signal on the boat, and then he had to swim to shore.
- 1:32:13[SPEAKER_11]: I mean, I was a weird fucking, all these stories are weird to shit.
- 1:32:16[SPEAKER_03]: They're all weird because they're just all weird.
- 1:32:21[SPEAKER_03]: What are you, Liz?
- 1:32:22[SPEAKER_11]: Is this a pirate ship one?
- 1:32:25[SPEAKER_11]: on a Bahamas party boat?
- 1:32:27[SPEAKER_03]: This is older.
- 1:32:28[SPEAKER_11]: Look, that kid kind of looks like you.
- 1:32:30[SPEAKER_11]: A younger you.
- 1:32:31[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, I know.
- 1:32:33[SPEAKER_11]: Wow.
- 1:32:33[SPEAKER_11]: Guys, I have something to tell you.
- 1:32:34[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 1:32:35[SPEAKER_11]: Guess what?
- 1:32:36[SPEAKER_11]: I died 30 years ago.
- 1:32:38[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, is that the whole video where you can hear the kids talking?
- 1:32:43[SPEAKER_11]: I know.
- 1:32:43[SPEAKER_03]: They're like, do it, do it.
- 1:32:45[SPEAKER_03]: And then he fucking does it.
- 1:32:46[SPEAKER_03]: They're like, holy shit.
- 1:32:48[SPEAKER_10]: Man.
- 1:32:49[SPEAKER_03]: No, I guess it was a pirate ship.
- 1:32:50[SPEAKER_03]: Anyway.
- 1:32:55[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, there's a bunch of these.
- 1:32:57[SPEAKER_11]: The one that we were friends with street bike Tommy, he jumped off a cruise ship one time.
- 1:33:03[SPEAKER_11]: With Travis Pashrana, and we asked him about it because he lived, obviously.
- 1:33:07[SPEAKER_11]: And we asked him about it, he goes, normally it should ever, and he goes, it doesn't look that high when you're up there.
- 1:33:14[SPEAKER_11]: But man, when you're falling through the air, it is endless.
- 1:33:17[SPEAKER_11]: And every square inch of him was black and blue.
- 1:33:22[SPEAKER_11]: every square inch of them because I think you I think what he said was it ended up being like seven stories.
- 1:33:27[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, which is Narlie and you have something else that I don't think people really consider is historically not just now, but throughout maritime history there are always a lot of sharks falling around large ships because the amount of stuff that goes overboard whether it's sewage or food and ever considered so there there is always shark's falling large ships.
- 1:33:49[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, I threw a plate of pizza off the back of a cruise ship on that drink and rose cruise.
- 1:33:55[SPEAKER_11]: I wanted to give back and I didn't know how to, that's kind of my only way.
- 1:33:59[SPEAKER_11]: As it was, like two extra pieces and I was stuffed, I'm like, I can't just throw this away.
- 1:34:05[SPEAKER_11]: I've got to give this back to the world.
- 1:34:07[SPEAKER_03]: So the case, I was talking about was the Nolan Wells case, blook.
- 1:34:13[SPEAKER_11]: oh yeah pop that one you were talking about another one there's three of them going around right now and yeah this is the
- 1:34:21[SPEAKER_11]: This is the latest one here.
- 1:34:22[SPEAKER_03]: So the fourth of July boat trip to Horn Island, we do those all the time with friends.
- 1:34:30[SPEAKER_03]: And there's conflicting stories, but basically they went to Barry, the barrier island with a group of friends did not return on, he did not return on the boat and then his body was discovered two days later.
- 1:34:43[SPEAKER_03]: So it's a bunch of 18-year-olds, kids, drinking,
- 1:34:49[SPEAKER_03]: heading out to a huge party on an island, he didn't get back on the boat, and then his body was found.
- 1:34:55[SPEAKER_03]: So the family wants an autopsy.
- 1:34:57[SPEAKER_03]: I guess you could see what he was on if he was drugged, whatever, whatever.
- 1:35:02[SPEAKER_03]: But what do we have here, Luke, or Luke, that he's talking about?
- 1:35:06[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:35:07[SPEAKER_06]: Best play.
- 1:35:07[SPEAKER_06]: Very spot where the body of Nolan Wells was brought after it was recovered from the water and his death, his mysterious death, has truly devastated this community.
- 1:35:17[SPEAKER_06]: We're hearing now for the first time, Robin, from an eyewitness, a friend of Wells who was with him on that fateful July 4th boat trip.
- 1:35:26[SPEAKER_05]: I just know I've lost my best friend.
- 1:35:28[SPEAKER_07]: This morning, a friend of Nolan Wells, who is with the 18 year old the day he was last seen alive, is sharing what he says happened during a July 4th boat trip to an isolated barrier island off the Mississippi Gulf Coast, traced in Shepherd declined to speak with us on camera because he says he and his friends are getting threats.
- 1:35:46[SPEAKER_05]: We didn't know wrong here and we don't understand how we're getting so much hate behind it.
- 1:35:50[SPEAKER_05]: We all cared and loved Nolan and nobody wanted to see Nolan.
- 1:35:55[SPEAKER_05]: No, nobody want to see his wife be taken so short.
- 1:35:58[SPEAKER_07]: Shepherd addressed this viral video that investigators have been studying.
- 1:36:02[SPEAKER_07]: Wells' parents worried it showed their son involved in a confrontation, but Shepherd said that's him, not Wells.
- 1:36:10[SPEAKER_04]: That's the video I'm referring to, and that's me yelling.
- 1:36:13[SPEAKER_07]: Shepherd says he took a boat back from Horn Island in the late afternoon, but Wells stayed behind with a girl he had met.
- 1:36:19[SPEAKER_04]: They met that day, and it was kind of...
- 1:36:22[SPEAKER_04]: Trying one of the things it did come off that day that he really did like her, but that was the only time that they ever hung out with.
- 1:36:29[SPEAKER_06]: And I learned on to love for investigators believe from what do you think?
- 1:36:34[SPEAKER_03]: They probably went autopsy to see if something happened to him on the island at the party, did he get beat up, did he get, whatever, was he talking to the wrong girl?
- 1:36:46[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
- 1:36:47[SPEAKER_03]: But I do think the friends that he came with left, because that's what boys do.
- 1:36:52[SPEAKER_03]: 18-year-old boys, they go, all right, dude.
- 1:36:55[SPEAKER_03]: I'm gonna say bad, we'll see you, bud.
- 1:36:57[SPEAKER_03]: We're getting on, I gotta get on this boat.
- 1:36:59[SPEAKER_03]: So you're good, right?
- 1:37:01[SPEAKER_03]: So it was good, I guess, and then, so his family just wants to know what happened from that to that.
- 1:37:08[SPEAKER_11]: Right, but they've been doing these marshes and things like that.
- 1:37:11[SPEAKER_11]: It's like, if this kid, the other kid, wouldn't have given the interview if he was guilty, I don't think.
- 1:37:16[SPEAKER_11]: I mean, that's, you know what I'm saying?
- 1:37:18[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, silly boy.
- 1:37:20[SPEAKER_11]: I mean, yeah, I think that's what you're thinking.
- 1:37:21[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, I think that's what you're thinking about.
- 1:37:22[SPEAKER_03]: Many young people have gone on good morning America.
- 1:37:26[SPEAKER_03]: They've gone on 20, 20,
- 1:37:31[SPEAKER_03]: look uh yeah i don't i don't think i would think that it would be more likely yeah um no i think i think there may be wanting uh investigator's actually look
- 1:37:47[SPEAKER_03]: at what happened.
- 1:37:48[SPEAKER_10]: Okay.
- 1:37:49[SPEAKER_10]: Now, I haven't looked into this case a whole lot, but I've heard this frame just like a racially charged case where people from the kid who died, like people from his community are saying, like, oh, they're trying to sweep it under the rug that these white kids murdered him.
- 1:38:03[SPEAKER_10]: That's what I heard.
- 1:38:04[SPEAKER_10]: I haven't seen any.
- 1:38:05[SPEAKER_10]: evidence that he was murdered, but I say, yeah, get an autopsy because I mean, number one investigate.
- 1:38:10[SPEAKER_03]: I think at this point, they're saying, can you please investigate and they're kind of like a bot that we found a body that like drives right away and autopsy would reveal like if they do an autopsy and they find that there wasn't any water in his lungs, well, you probably have a murder.
- 1:38:24[SPEAKER_03]: He got he got killed before being thrown in the water if he has water in his lungs and all that.
- 1:38:31[SPEAKER_03]: Then you've he's drowned.
- 1:38:32[SPEAKER_10]: Okay.
- 1:38:33[SPEAKER_03]: We don't know.
- 1:38:34[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, there's water as long as there's no marks of a struggle or anything like that.
- 1:38:38[SPEAKER_10]: Then it was accidental.
- 1:38:39[SPEAKER_10]: But if there's no water, then they probably have a murderer on their hands.
- 1:38:42[SPEAKER_10]: So then why wouldn't you just do it, I guess.
- 1:38:44[SPEAKER_11]: Just do the answer.
- 1:38:44[SPEAKER_03]: They are doing it, but they're not making.
- 1:38:47[SPEAKER_03]: I think they want more coverage on it.
- 1:38:51[SPEAKER_03]: They want it to be faster.
- 1:38:52[SPEAKER_03]: They want to know now.
- 1:38:53[SPEAKER_03]: And and as we know.
- 1:38:54[SPEAKER_11]: It takes time.
- 1:38:55[SPEAKER_03]: It takes time except for if you're Binsie Graham.
- 1:38:58[SPEAKER_11]: Well, look, they had to say that the spell that's higher yet.
- 1:39:03[SPEAKER_11]: Boys in Brimmer right away.
- 1:39:05[SPEAKER_03]: You, well, what they're saying is you don't want to just, you want to just spell maybe that his friends fucking killed him.
- 1:39:11[SPEAKER_03]: Can we like stop all of this?
- 1:39:13[SPEAKER_03]: His friend was probably calling to be like, dude, look into something else.
- 1:39:17[SPEAKER_03]: Like we're getting threats like, uh-huh.
- 1:39:20[SPEAKER_03]: Trying to see what actually happened to our friend.
- 1:39:22[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, can you figure this out, bro?
- 1:39:24[SPEAKER_11]: Because I want to go back to live in my normal life.
- 1:39:26[SPEAKER_03]: Because I have a party out on Fick and Barry are all in.
- 1:39:30[SPEAKER_03]: And like, this weekend, though.
- 1:39:37[SPEAKER_11]: So have these stories are weird, man.
- 1:39:41[SPEAKER_11]: It's like the third boat story.
- 1:39:42[SPEAKER_11]: They're like, all right, I don't fucking know.
- 1:39:44[SPEAKER_02]: Dude when I was looking up the boat story is I was like that was it was endless I couldn't find the one you were talking about.
- 1:39:50[SPEAKER_11]: No, it's wild, isn't it?
- 1:39:52[SPEAKER_11]: Some of make it some of them don't you're like, oh, what happened to that?
- 1:39:55[SPEAKER_11]: Whoa, just okay.
- 1:39:56[SPEAKER_11]: It's dead.
- 1:39:57[SPEAKER_11]: I'm sure the cops were probably the same way.
- 1:39:59[SPEAKER_03]: What do you do?
- 1:39:59[SPEAKER_03]: Why I think would be a great comment to end on.
- 1:40:02[SPEAKER_03]: What do you say?
- 1:40:03[SPEAKER_03]: He just said swim lessons are overrated And it's true and overpriced.
- 1:40:09[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you, Reed.
- 1:40:10[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah
- 1:40:11[SPEAKER_11]: Boats are dangerous.
- 1:40:13[SPEAKER_11]: Read white says.
- 1:40:14[SPEAKER_03]: He's just, you know, you can always count on read for like that.
- 1:40:19[SPEAKER_11]: Just the right there.
- 1:40:21[SPEAKER_11]: Just, you know, and that Boats are dangerous, guys.
- 1:40:24[SPEAKER_03]: Complexity.
- 1:40:24[SPEAKER_11]: Thanks, bud.
- 1:40:25[SPEAKER_11]: Yep.
- 1:40:26[SPEAKER_11]: Boats are dangerous, you know?
- 1:40:27[SPEAKER_03]: It's complex in its simplicity.
- 1:40:30[SPEAKER_11]: But it means so much.
- 1:40:31[SPEAKER_11]: It always rings true.
- 1:40:32[SPEAKER_03]: It's like the more you think about it, you go.
- 1:40:38[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:40:38[SPEAKER_11]: What is this blue, I've been seeing.
- 1:40:40[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, I'm trying to find a video.
- 1:40:42[SPEAKER_02]: There's like videos where they take babies and they throw them in the pool.
- 1:40:47[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, just like we've it up to fate.
- 1:40:49[SPEAKER_03]: It's because they instinctively will turn around right and start floating is their right.
- 1:40:57[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, they have to teach them to do it.
- 1:40:59[SPEAKER_02]: I think show this baby.
- 1:41:00[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
- 1:41:00[SPEAKER_03]: I think the idea is that they just instinctively do it.
- 1:41:05[SPEAKER_02]: Look at that, blue.
- 1:41:06[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's a baby throw them in that way.
- 1:41:08[SPEAKER_11]: And it's really aggressive.
- 1:41:09[SPEAKER_03]: That one with the lady I think was the aggressive one.
- 1:41:12[SPEAKER_11]: So we've taken our kids to swim schools, right, all of them.
- 1:41:17[SPEAKER_11]: And it is a little bit jarring because at one point, they, you know, the instructor does take your baby and dunks to fucking baby.
- 1:41:23[SPEAKER_03]: Throw the baby in you.
- 1:41:25[SPEAKER_11]: And you're like, oh, shits at the baby.
- 1:41:27[SPEAKER_03]: Well, not the baby.
- 1:41:28[SPEAKER_03]: We haven't done babies.
- 1:41:29[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, there you go, right there.
- 1:41:31[SPEAKER_11]: So like, oh, all right, there we go.
- 1:41:32[SPEAKER_03]: So look, look, it's instinctively and then that instinctively, they turn over and flip upside down and then instinctively, they drown.
- 1:41:40[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that's right kids and see that look she didn't even like he did it She didn't even really went from the throw.
- 1:41:46[SPEAKER_11]: We went from the throw.
- 1:41:47[SPEAKER_11]: There you go.
- 1:41:48[SPEAKER_03]: Okay She does it they don't turn him at all.
- 1:41:51[SPEAKER_03]: No, he just like he's upside down the parents are like get him get him get him I is the kid fully dressed in she's behaving him.
- 1:41:59[SPEAKER_03]: I know so instinctively though they turn over and they start floating if you don't
- 1:42:05[SPEAKER_10]: freak out 14 months old that baby is now.
- 1:42:08[SPEAKER_10]: I have seen some of these videos where the instructors look way too enthusiastic about throwing the baby.
- 1:42:13[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, they love it.
- 1:42:14[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, they love it.
- 1:42:15[SPEAKER_10]: They love it.
- 1:42:16[SPEAKER_11]: That's the best part of their day.
- 1:42:18[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, look at this.
- 1:42:19[SPEAKER_03]: Boom.
- 1:42:19[SPEAKER_11]: Look at that.
- 1:42:20[SPEAKER_11]: Fully close.
- 1:42:22[SPEAKER_03]: What is that movie?
- 1:42:22[SPEAKER_03]: What is that wrestling movie?
- 1:42:24[SPEAKER_11]: Our kids at bathing suits on.
- 1:42:25[SPEAKER_11]: It's almost like a suplex.
- 1:42:27[SPEAKER_11]: RKO.
- 1:42:27[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah, he's suplex.
- 1:42:35[SPEAKER_11]: Wow, dude, yeah, look at how AMP they are.
- 1:42:39[SPEAKER_11]: Shuckin' that baby.
- 1:42:40[SPEAKER_11]: Over.
- 1:42:43[SPEAKER_11]: Six months, holy shit, that's young.
- 1:42:45[SPEAKER_03]: Uh-uh.
- 1:42:46[SPEAKER_11]: Uh-uh.
- 1:42:47[SPEAKER_11]: Now, yeah, you can see how it happened.
- 1:42:50[SPEAKER_11]: If you want to get Jesse on the show, do that's it.
- 1:42:52[SPEAKER_11]: She can't look.
- 1:42:53[SPEAKER_11]: Put the camera on her.
- 1:42:54[SPEAKER_11]: She can't look.
- 1:42:54[SPEAKER_11]: She can't look.
- 1:42:55[SPEAKER_11]: There's some sick instructors out there.
- 1:42:56[SPEAKER_03]: There's some sick instructors.
- 1:42:59[SPEAKER_03]: I have a couple irrational fears as you guys know.
- 1:43:02[SPEAKER_03]: I think it's second hit.
- 1:43:06[SPEAKER_03]: I think it's not called second-hand drowning, but it's called like late baby syndrome.
- 1:43:12[SPEAKER_03]: Delayed drowning.
- 1:43:14[SPEAKER_11]: to Lade Baby Syndrome?
- 1:43:15[SPEAKER_03]: We're like, you save them and they're fine, but then they got so much water and they're lungs that they died later.
- 1:43:22[SPEAKER_10]: Oh yeah, I've heard about that too.
- 1:43:24[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, thank you.
- 1:43:25[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that's right.
- 1:43:25[SPEAKER_03]: Rackoons with Ravies.
- 1:43:29[SPEAKER_03]: right for any animal three pieces and and tick tick bites.
- 1:43:33[SPEAKER_11]: Blue can the background is just watching.
- 1:43:35[SPEAKER_11]: Not enough of the suit over and over and over again.
- 1:43:39[SPEAKER_11]: We don't kink shame on the show but I might have to do it.
- 1:43:42[SPEAKER_11]: Dude, it's cool.
- 1:43:43[SPEAKER_11]: It might have to, yeah.
- 1:43:45[SPEAKER_03]: But the snapping in the face, I know.
- 1:43:48[SPEAKER_11]: And just, you guys, baby, raise your babies face.
- 1:43:51[SPEAKER_03]: Ram, amazing.
- 1:43:52[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, sure, they instinctively do it.
- 1:43:55[SPEAKER_03]: And he will remember that for the rest of his life in Hebney, nightmares.
- 1:43:59[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, it's cool, it's cool.
- 1:44:01[SPEAKER_03]: And the slow motion is napping in the baby's face.
- 1:44:05[SPEAKER_03]: As they're just like, am I alive, mommy?
- 1:44:08[SPEAKER_11]: And the baby's like, no.
- 1:44:09[SPEAKER_03]: Where's my mommy?
- 1:44:09[SPEAKER_03]: She's not here.
- 1:44:10[SPEAKER_03]: She threw you in the water to die.
- 1:44:11[SPEAKER_11]: That snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps, that snaps,
- 1:44:38[SPEAKER_07]: I'm just, Luke, it's just gunnings through them in the background over there.
- 1:44:42[SPEAKER_07]: Good job, Blue.
- 1:44:43[SPEAKER_11]: Then I wonder if we put ring cameras inside your house if that you're just watching this, like, for a am every night, just YouTube shorts of babies getting chucked into pools.
- 1:44:54[SPEAKER_11]: And that's fine.
- 1:44:55[SPEAKER_11]: Again, we don't kink shame, except for this one.
- 1:44:58[SPEAKER_11]: You know, this one might be a little much.
- 1:45:00[SPEAKER_03]: But then every, every once in a while too,
- 1:45:09[SPEAKER_03]: public.
- 1:45:10[SPEAKER_03]: For sure.
- 1:45:10[SPEAKER_03]: Do you want me to be like read that will be like swimming lessons or, you know, overrated boats or dangers.
- 1:45:17[SPEAKER_11]: Boats or dangerous.
- 1:45:18[SPEAKER_03]: Boats or dangerous.
- 1:45:19[SPEAKER_03]: And then it'll be like swimming ability has less to do with strength and more to do with calm, controlled physical coordination.
- 1:45:26[SPEAKER_03]: A lot of drownings happen from needless physical exhaustion.
- 1:45:31[SPEAKER_11]: Somebody even named it the call the name of it, uh, my my lion dive reflex.
- 1:45:36[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, it's a mammalian dive reflex mammalian.
- 1:45:38[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, like a mammal.
- 1:45:40[SPEAKER_11]: Okay.
- 1:45:41[SPEAKER_11]: That's fun.
- 1:45:42[SPEAKER_11]: I've never heard of that.
- 1:45:42[SPEAKER_03]: And thank you for that runaway Slav.
- 1:45:46[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, is that runaway Slav?
- 1:45:47[SPEAKER_03]: Mm-hmm.
- 1:45:47[SPEAKER_11]: I know.
- 1:45:48[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 1:45:49[SPEAKER_10]: That that particular message is a drastic change from his usual condense.
- 1:45:54[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, is he trying to?
- 1:45:56[SPEAKER_10]: It's usually about Jews.
- 1:45:58[SPEAKER_11]: Um, maybe the baby was she.
- 1:45:59[SPEAKER_03]: Well, this one is also about Jews too though.
- 1:46:02[SPEAKER_03]: If you think about it.
- 1:46:03[SPEAKER_03]: Is it the yeah.
- 1:46:05[SPEAKER_11]: Okay.
- 1:46:06[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:46:07[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:46:07[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 1:46:08[SPEAKER_10]: So we were talking about the million library flex not reptilian.
- 1:46:13[SPEAKER_11]: I don't get it.
- 1:46:14[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:46:14[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:46:15[SPEAKER_11]: Maybe it's like otters.
- 1:46:17[SPEAKER_11]: Autors are mammals, right?
- 1:46:19[SPEAKER_11]: And they just kind of pop up and figure, figure shit out there.
- 1:46:23[SPEAKER_11]: So yeah.
- 1:46:23[SPEAKER_03]: Now I'm just in the chat.
- 1:46:25[SPEAKER_03]: I love Ross's scientific pronunciation there.
- 1:46:29[SPEAKER_03]: Mama, Lion.
- 1:46:30[SPEAKER_11]: I've never heard of that term in my entire life.
- 1:46:33[SPEAKER_11]: It's like a momma lion, yeah, well, she's like, right cool.
- 1:46:37[SPEAKER_11]: It's the sea lion and this is the momma lion and that's kind of what this I thought that's what it was and then it's mammalian Which I don't I don't fucking subscribe to either.
- 1:46:46[SPEAKER_11]: I don't know what that means.
- 1:46:47[SPEAKER_03]: So And let's start somewhere.
- 1:46:50[SPEAKER_03]: Do you know what a mammal is?
- 1:46:51[SPEAKER_11]: I sure do.
- 1:46:52[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 1:46:52[SPEAKER_11]: No, I sure do.
- 1:46:53[SPEAKER_03]: It's a good baseline and and blue.
- 1:46:55[SPEAKER_11]: She's finding people who are drowning themselves in a bull
- 1:46:58[SPEAKER_03]: Look, what is this?
- 1:46:59[SPEAKER_11]: I love it.
- 1:47:00[SPEAKER_11]: Whatever is doing there.
- 1:47:01[SPEAKER_10]: Like, are you leaving this or something about the mammalian diaphraglets?
- 1:47:03[SPEAKER_00]: How is it really?
- 1:47:05[SPEAKER_00]: In the context of water-related emergencies, the mammalian dive reflex can sometimes provide a small degree of protection against hypoxia and drowning, particularly in children.
- 1:47:17[SPEAKER_00]: It is important for emergency medical professionals to be aware of this reflex and consider it when treating patients who have experienced water-related emergencies, such as near-drowning or cold water submersion.
- 1:47:29[SPEAKER_11]: There you go.
- 1:47:30[SPEAKER_11]: He found that he found the scientific evidence of it, the mammalian gag reflex.
- 1:47:36[SPEAKER_11]: What is it?
- 1:47:37[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 1:47:37[SPEAKER_11]: What a reflex.
- 1:47:38[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 1:47:39[SPEAKER_03]: You got it.
- 1:47:40[SPEAKER_03]: Killed it.
- 1:47:41[SPEAKER_03]: All right.
- 1:47:42[SPEAKER_11]: There's a lot of mammals out there.
- 1:47:44[SPEAKER_11]: Suckin' each other's dick.
- 1:47:45[SPEAKER_03]: A million gag reflex is... Just didn't know what it was.
- 1:47:49[SPEAKER_11]: I wish we could get a name to show that.
- 1:47:51[SPEAKER_03]: The name of our band, yeah.
- 1:47:52[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:47:53[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:47:54[SPEAKER_11]: You guys made it a ride?
- 1:47:55[SPEAKER_11]: We got about a million gag reflex.
- 1:47:57[SPEAKER_11]: We got about a million gag reflex.
- 1:47:58[SPEAKER_03]: A million gag reflex.
- 1:47:59[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:47:59[SPEAKER_03]: You guys made it a ride?
- 1:48:01[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:48:07[SPEAKER_11]: Everybody's holding up and Dildo's in the crowd, yeah, yeah, yeah, fuck yeah You guys ready to vomit.
- 1:48:15[SPEAKER_11]: Let's go.
- 1:48:15[SPEAKER_03]: I do have a British accent from Baker's field no reason because people take us more serious Who do you got on crime corner tomorrow?
- 1:48:26[SPEAKER_11]: What do you got?
- 1:48:28[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, you can't, no, no, no, don't look.
- 1:48:32[SPEAKER_03]: We have.
- 1:48:33[SPEAKER_11]: Don't look.
- 1:48:34[SPEAKER_11]: We know what it is.
- 1:48:35[SPEAKER_11]: Well, we know what it is.
- 1:48:36[SPEAKER_03]: We know what it is, but show it to you.
- 1:48:38[SPEAKER_11]: Keep it around the inside.
- 1:48:39[SPEAKER_11]: No, I don't.
- 1:48:40[SPEAKER_11]: I'm not on that show.
- 1:48:41[SPEAKER_11]: I don't know.
- 1:48:42[SPEAKER_11]: Detective.
- 1:48:43[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, so it's Albert, let's just say it's Albert Seedman.
- 1:48:46[SPEAKER_03]: He is a, I guess not so much famous.
- 1:48:52[SPEAKER_03]: Was he famous?
- 1:48:53[SPEAKER_03]: He's a detective in New York.
- 1:48:54[SPEAKER_10]: Legendary, let's say.
- 1:48:56[SPEAKER_10]: Legendary, let's say.
- 1:48:57[SPEAKER_03]: He's a legend, chief of police and detective in New York City.
- 1:49:03[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, take a look back in the AJ when you could choke out perps, right?
- 1:49:09[SPEAKER_11]: In one of a gaggle oppressed.
- 1:49:13[SPEAKER_11]: handcuffs and then he's picked him up like that.
- 1:49:15[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, yeah.
- 1:49:15[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, this is during a purple one.
- 1:49:17[SPEAKER_03]: That's correct.
- 1:49:18[SPEAKER_03]: Walk in the press.
- 1:49:18[SPEAKER_03]: So it should be now wanted to that's always that basically the whole episode is like, why can't we do this shit now?
- 1:49:26[SPEAKER_03]: But we kind of we do a couple cases
- 1:49:30[SPEAKER_03]: well-known crazy cases that he solved and go into his career a little bit.
- 1:49:37[SPEAKER_03]: It's a fun one because we do like three different cases, but he's the detective on all of them.
- 1:49:43[SPEAKER_11]: Okay.
- 1:49:44[SPEAKER_03]: And it really is, it really was the heyday of just like, he was the guy that all of detectives are based on that you can go where he just walks in.
- 1:49:56[SPEAKER_03]: No one can figure it out.
- 1:49:57[SPEAKER_03]: Everyone's
- 1:49:59[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
- 1:50:00[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know when he walks in with like always a cigar down to the butt.
- 1:50:04[SPEAKER_03]: Yep.
- 1:50:05[SPEAKER_03]: Looks around a little bit.
- 1:50:07[SPEAKER_03]: Solves it.
- 1:50:08[SPEAKER_11]: Do you want to mean that good?
- 1:50:09[SPEAKER_03]: He's that good.
- 1:50:10[SPEAKER_11]: And the name of his book is called Chief?
- 1:50:12[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:50:13[SPEAKER_11]: Sweet dude.
- 1:50:15[SPEAKER_11]: Fuck yeah.
- 1:50:16[SPEAKER_11]: We used to be a proper country.
- 1:50:18[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, that's what that's really a lot of fun.
- 1:50:19[SPEAKER_03]: Now it fucking sucks, doesn't it?
- 1:50:21[SPEAKER_11]: Like nobody will do shit.
- 1:50:24[SPEAKER_11]: you call somebody for something.
- 1:50:25[SPEAKER_11]: If it's not, what are the other guys at LAPD?
- 1:50:28[SPEAKER_11]: If it's not drugs or murder, they're not coming.
- 1:50:31[SPEAKER_02]: There's what he told me on the phone, and I was like, oh, all right.
- 1:50:34[SPEAKER_02]: Well, so I was thinking about this.
- 1:50:35[SPEAKER_02]: I was wondering why there's no cool detectives like this guy anymore.
- 1:50:39[SPEAKER_02]: And I think part of it is just the fact that everything's on camera is now.
- 1:50:46[SPEAKER_02]: There's just not a cool detective work going on.
- 1:50:48[SPEAKER_03]: No, because you don't get to like go with your footage.
- 1:50:51[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:50:51[SPEAKER_03]: You can't go with your gut.
- 1:50:53[SPEAKER_03]: Go on a hunch.
- 1:50:55[SPEAKER_03]: You know, you have to fully have all of DNA.
- 1:51:01[SPEAKER_03]: It's just forensic technology.
- 1:51:03[SPEAKER_03]: Everything behind you before you can even make an arrest or even say that it might be something.
- 1:51:09[SPEAKER_11]: I think the Luigi Mangeoni thing, I think there was a 147 different camera shots of him went through the city and shit and you're stitching that all together and you're like, okay.
- 1:51:19[SPEAKER_03]: And then the stuff.
- 1:51:21[SPEAKER_03]: That's enough.
- 1:51:22[SPEAKER_03]: Well, the detectives are still getting in trouble for like searching his backpack.
- 1:51:27[SPEAKER_11]: So it's just not the fucking saying now if this guy rolled in he's kicking down the front door slapping your mom around until she gives up the sun and then he's going out there and you know gone is fully loaded we kind of talk on asking questions right and he's going to shoot you if you don't say that you committed this murder
- 1:51:47[SPEAKER_03]: Exactly right.
- 1:51:49[SPEAKER_03]: We kind of talk about it like these were the heavy like mob days.
- 1:51:52[SPEAKER_03]: So in order to like you're either in the mob or you're Detective police and most of the time they're all together.
- 1:52:02[SPEAKER_03]: It's the same thing.
- 1:52:03[SPEAKER_03]: Sure.
- 1:52:04[SPEAKER_03]: The outliers that actually are trying to fight against mob activity
- 1:52:11[SPEAKER_03]: you have to be kind of like a gangster though.
- 1:52:13[SPEAKER_03]: Do you know what I mean?
- 1:52:14[SPEAKER_03]: Because those days, those hey days were like, you have to, you have to be hard core.
- 1:52:20[SPEAKER_11]: Is there a Facebook page?
- 1:52:23[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, Chief Seedman apparently does 2,700 fault.
- 1:52:28[SPEAKER_11]: He's got a fan page on Facebook.
- 1:52:29[SPEAKER_11]: Is he alive?
- 1:52:31[SPEAKER_11]: No, he died in, was that 04?
- 1:52:34[SPEAKER_11]: Okay, something like that.
- 1:52:36[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, and that famous Christmas tree fire of 04?
- 1:52:38[SPEAKER_03]: Doubt in the nursing home, yep.
- 1:52:41[SPEAKER_11]: Remember that was a Christmas tree fire up in Beggar's field?
- 1:52:44[SPEAKER_11]: All the Christmas trees went up and he was standing there with a cigar dead.
- 1:52:48[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:52:49[SPEAKER_11]: Looking like that.
- 1:52:49[SPEAKER_11]: Yep, sure was.
- 1:52:51[SPEAKER_11]: No, there he is actually.
- 1:52:52[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, man.
- 1:52:53[SPEAKER_11]: I don't want to see the old man version of him.
- 1:52:54[SPEAKER_11]: I don't know.
