Yeah, maybe. Yeah. But we do wanna talk today about some lessons that we've learned. Is that a fair way to to put it over the last couple weeks specifically? Johnna: been a lot longer than that. Yeah, it's been a life for me. Yeah. But we do want to In-person participant 1: $67 each we also created the parasite detox blueprint at $37 and this is actually the exact protocol And while you're there sign up for the newsletter You'll get the weekly action steps and new tools. We've tested ourselves. Let's get back to the episode Johnna: Yeah, I would say, you know, when I c came up with this idea, you know, we talk about embodiment or basically, you know, walking out how you walking out your awakening, whatever that is, right? I hate all these words, these healing words. This is so frustrating because they got so ⁓ what's the word up? Elevated Life: That's how we reach more people who are ready for change. You can also find everything at CJElevatedLife.com. All right, let's keep going. Clint - Mic: You'll get the weekly action steps and new tools we've tested ourselves. Let's get back to the episode. Clint: words these healing words. It's so frustrating because they've got so ⁓ what's the word I'm I'm looking for? ⁓ not compromised, not I wanna say bastardized, but yeah there's a different word. But anyway, sorry I interrupted. Like ugh it's nauseating. So you know I just I said to Clint like hey Johnna: Yeah, kind of word but anyway, sorry. Yeah, it's like all taboo now. Really. Like, ⁓ it's nauseating. So, you know, I just I've said to Clint, like, Hey, let's just talk about what we've learned this week and how we've had to walk out what we've learned, like specific lessons, ⁓ just so people have examples of of that. Really. And I so I think, you know, I've been Clint: This week and how we've had to walk out what we've learned, like specific lessons, ⁓ just so people have examples of of that. Really. And I so I think you know, I've been processing this since you first brought it up a little bit. And it's almost in my mind at least, more of a framing of not Johnna: Processing this and And it's almost in my mind at least more of a framing of not lessons that have been reinforced. We've had 'cause it's not like we any of this well, I don't know. I don't even know what we're gonna talk about. This is one of those that we're just going for. But at least the things that we've discussed a little bit are like things that weren't brand new information. Clint: Lessons that have been reinforced. We've had 'cause it's not like we any of this well, I don't know. I don't even what we're gonna talk about. This is one of those that we're just going for. But at least the things that we've discussed a little bit are like things that weren't brand new information to us. Yeah. It was just okay, now this is glaring and we we have to metabolize it a little bit and learn from it. Johnna: Sure. Yeah. It was just okay, now this is glaring and we we have to ⁓ metabolize it a little bit and learn from it. Yeah. So Clint, what are some lessons that you have learned this week and what has been your thought process through those lessons? Like be honest. Even if it's like I learned, fuck you. So I should Clint: So I should be honest on this one. Yeah, this is the one that I want you to be honest on. Yeah. Johnna: Yeah, this is the one that I want you to be honest on. No, just y if you're a listener, a longtime listener, like I do a lot of the talking and Clint is like, Yes, so now I'm like, What are your lessons? Tell me. And usually when Johnna does that and then kick it back to the Yeah, right. And then I point and I'm like, Nope, back to you. I one of Clint: And usually when Jonna does that, I'll say two sentences and then kick it back to her. Yeah, right. And then I point. I one of the one of the glaring ones, and it it might be a couple parter, ⁓ but is just the how much of life is reliance on other people and other people Johnna: And it it might be a couple parter, ⁓ but is just the reliance on other people and other people doing not even necessarily like doing the right thing, 'cause that that's part of it, but just doing what they're supposed to do. So, you know, whatever it might be, somebody doing their job or somebody just, you know, upholding whatever social contracts we have in the society that we live in today. Clint: doing not even necessarily like doing the right thing because that that's part of it, but just doing what they're supposed to do. So, you know, whatever it might be ⁓ somebody doing their job or somebody just, you know, upholding whatever social contracts we have in the society that we live in today. But it's not like going above and beyond. Right. You know, it's just these the Johnna: But it's not like going above and beyond. Right. You know, it's just these are the things that we need to have happen in a functioning society or a functioning relationship amongst a couple or a few people. And it's just it it it so often it just doesn't happen. Clint: things that we need to have happen in a functioning society or a functioning relationship amongst a couple or a few people. And it's just it it it so often it just doesn't happen. Johnna: Yeah, this is actually it's funny you bring that up because that's definitely one of the lessons that I learned this week was and just hats off to Jonna right now. That's what I'm gonna say. I feel ⁓ you just gave me a cheer. I feel like I could run circles around people in terms of getting shit done. I and I have a hard time waiting on other people. Clint: I feel like I could run circles around people in terms of getting shit done. I and I have a Johnna: And I have to find a balance of grace and not enabling or like 'cause I'm a move on person. Like, okay, you didn't whatever, then fuck off, I'm moving on. Because I could get ten things done in the time that it is taking you to, you know, respond or whatever. And that's been like Clint: and not enabling or like 'cause I'm a move on person. Like, okay, you didn't whatever, then fuck off by moving on. Because I could get ten things done in the time that it is taking you to, you know, respond or whatever. Right. And that's been like Johnna: a frustration. So it's that balance of okay, I'm gonna trust the universe that everything happens in its proper time, but I'm also waiting for humans who apparently it's hard to whatever. Respond. It's just it's a it's a fascinating balance. And Clint: a frustration. So it's that balance of okay, I'm gonna trust the universe that everything happens in its proper time, but I'm also waiting for humans who apparently it's hard to whatever, respond. This it's it's a f it's a fascinating balance and ⁓ I'm again going to gonna preview I guess another topic that we're gonna talk about, but it it's a fascinating balance in my mind because i it can lead to a little bit of main character syndrome in yourself. Johnna: It it's a fascinating balance in my mind because it can Sure. In yourself. Mhm. Yeah. Because you also have to keep in mind when you're when you're waiting on somebody else to to get something done because it directly impacts you, ⁓ it's not the only thing they have to do. Totally. So you know, they've got and and and we talk all the time like you know, you don't know what's going on with somebody else. You don't want in their life, you know, or or whatever in your circumstances. And Clint: because you also have to keep in mind when you're when you're waiting on somebody else to to get something done because it directly impacts you, it's not the only thing they have to do. Totally. So they you know, they've got and and And we talk all the time like w you know, you don't know what's going on with somebody else. You don't know what's going on in their life, you know, or or whatever, any circumstances. And and so that very much applies here, where it it you you can't just expect the whole world to work on your timeline. Totally. So that's a tough balance. At the same time, when people make commitments to do something, they need to fucking do it. Johnna: And so that very much applies here where i it you you can't just expect the whole world to work on your timeline. Totally. So that's a tough balance. At the same time, when people make commitments to do something, they need to fucking do it. Right. Or even just communicate, Hey, I don't have the bandwidth right now to deal with this. I'm gonna need twenty four hours. Clint: Hey, I don't have the bandwidth right now to deal with this. I'm gonna need twenty four hours. Right? I mean, 'cause I've I've done that, like I can't do this right now. but you're right, it does it does go back to some main character, you know, issues, right? But I'm also like I say this all the time, I'm a Capricorn. And so I Johnna: Right. I mean, 'cause I've I've done that, like I can't do this right now. ⁓ but you're right, it does it does go back to some main character, you know, issues, right? But I'm also like and I say this all the time, I'm a Capricorn. And so I am very driven, very get things done, very check, you know, check off things on the list. ⁓ Clint: and very driven, very get things done, very check you know, check off things on the list. I I just can get a lot done in twenty four hours. Like honestly. So And me, on the other hand, I'm an Aquarius. Yeah. I don't know what that means. my gosh, that's great. That Johnna: I I just can get a lot done in twenty four hours. Like honestly. So Yeah. I don't know what that means. ⁓ my gosh, that's great. That it means a lot. But that's for a different podcast. So anyway, just being ⁓ and this bleeds into look at me just taking me in character right here. Because I'm like, ⁓ let's just talk about me when I asked you. Maybe that's ninety percent of the fucking problem. Like talk. Clint: That means a lot. So anyway. This bleeds into look at me just taking me in character right here. 'Cause I'm like, ⁓ let's just talk about me when I asked you. No, yeah, go. This is ninety percent of the fucking problem. Like, talk. Go ahead, client, be transparent and then no, I'm just gonna bulldoze over you. This yeah. You have a lot of valuable things to say. So what does it no, what does it lead? So that you can finish ⁓ Johnna: Go ahead, client, be transparent, and then no, I'm just gonna bulldoze over you. This yeah. So is it no, what is it? I was just gonna say, but now I lost my thoughts. So I'm gonna kick it back to you so that you can finish what you learned because we already talked about what I learned. Well, that was I'm trying to think of what the other part 'cause I said Clint: Well that was I'm trying to think of what the other part 'cause I said it was a two parter. ⁓ just relying relying on other people and where that was going. at the same time valuing yourself. 'Cause that's something that I struggle with. And and so it g it it becomes really easy when you are Johnna: at the same time valuing yourself. Yeah. That's something that I struggle with. Yeah. And and so it g it it becomes really easy when you are even when you're not, but in the context of what we're talking about here, w when when other people you know when Clint: Even when you're not, but in the context of what we're talking about here, w when when other people you know, when when they're supposed to be doing something, meaning you're legitimately like they've said, you know, hey, okay, I'll get you this email or I'll, you know Johnna: When they're supposed to be doing something, meaning you're legitimately like they've said, you know, hey, okay, I'll get you this email or I'll, you know, take care of this thing or whatever it might be. So they've actually, you know, said they're going to do something. You're not just waiting on some divine intervention that somebody's gonna come to help you or whatever. And then they don't do that. It it becomes very easy for me just to think, Well, that's that's fine. Clint: take care of this thing or whatever it might be. So they've actually, you know, said they're going to do something. You're not just waiting on some divine intervention that somebody's gonna come to help you or whatever. And then they don't do that. It it becomes very easy for me just to think, well that's that's fine. I'm not I'm not that important. You know, they can they had other shit to do. They and and that's not the reality. Johnna: I'm not I'm not that important. You know, they can they had other shit to do. Right. And and that's not the reality. No. And i it it's it's it's really a struggle. It's really a struggle when you Clint: And i it it's it's it's really a struggle. It's really a struggle when you Again, if you've listened to the podcast for the duration, I've I'm relatively new in not trying to control everything and just believing that, you know, the universe can handle things and and ⁓ whatever's supposed to be is supposed to be kind of a thing. And so as I'm as I'm trying to live in that, and then I get Johnna: again if you've listened to the podcast for the duration, I've I'm relatively new in not trying to control everything and just believing that, you know, the universe can handle things and and whatever's supposed to be is supposed to be kind of a thing. And so as I'm as I'm trying to live in that and then I get indications or examples of, nah, people don't really value you that much 'cause they got their own shit going on. Clint: indications or examples of nah, people don't really value you that much 'cause they got their own shit going on. Then it it feels like to me that it's like, ⁓ well that's confirmation. Johnna: Then it it feels like to me that it's like, ⁓ well, that's confirmation. Right. Sure. I understand that. I'm on the complete other end of the spectrum, which is why we make a really good team. Because I'm like, yeah, motherfucker, I value myself. Do what you were sub said you were going to do. Like your word is your bond. You said you were gonna do this. You didn't do it. It really has nothing to do with my value or not. It has to do with Clint: Yeah, motherfucker, I value myself. Do what you were s said you were going to do. Like your word is your bond. You said you were gonna do this, you didn't do it. It really has nothing to do with my value or not. It has to do with are you gonna fucking do what you said you were gonna do? And you just showed me that you weren't. So again, I'm a Capricorn, I do know what that means. ⁓ and you're out. That's pretty much how I yeah. Johnna: Are you gonna fucking do what you said you're gonna do? And you just showed me that you weren't. So again, I'm a Capricorn. I do know what that means. ⁓ then you're out. That's pretty much how I ⁓ yeah. So it's it's a good balance when we talk these things through because I get the perspective of Clint kind of going through his process. It's really nice to be able to process with someone. Clint: So it's it's a good balance when we talk these things through because I get the perspective of Plant kind of going through his process. It's really nice to be able to process with someone. And then me on the other hand going, No dude Johnna: And then me on the other hand going, Now dude, like you said, and here we go, and now you're not doing, so Bert, you get the axe. And totally agree. Totally agree with you on that. And it's also been this is just another lesson that's just popping into my head right now along that, is so often ⁓ humans in general I would say look from middle ground. Clint: Like you said, and here we go, and now you're not doing, so burnt you get the ass. And i totally agree. Totally agree with you on that. And it's also been this is just another lesson that's just popping into my head right now along that, is so often, humans in general I would say look from middle ground. Johnna: Right. You know, okay, it's somewhere in the middle, you know, life you know, everybody's like black and white, but life is grey. Yeah. You know, whatever. Yeah. In this for this particular thing, sure there is some middle ground, but some of it isn't. Yeah. Some of it is Jonna's perspective is a hundred percent right. Well, I don't know. It's really nice to be No, wha what I'm saying is in specific situations, you don't Clint: You know, okay, it's it's somewhere in the middle, you know, life you know, everybody's like black and white, but life is gray, right? You know, whatever. In this for this particular thing, sure there is some middle ground, but some of it isn't. Some of it is Jonna's perspective is a hundred percent right. No, ⁓ w what I'm saying is in specific situations, you don't always have to find the gray area. Sometimes it is, no, fuck you. You didn't do what you said you were gonna do. Now we're done. I don't need to make any more space for you. I don't need to Johnna: Always have to find the gray area. Right. Sometimes it is no fuck you. You didn't do what you said you were gonna do. Now we're done. I don't need to make any more space for you. I don't need to ⁓ give you any more grace. I've already given you grace. Yeah, I've already allowed for you to, you know, work through your thing and it still didn't happen. So no. Moving on. Yeah. And then sometimes it's the exact opposite thing. Not that it Clint: ⁓ give you any more grace. I've already given you grace. I've already allowed for you to, you know, work through your thing and it still didn't happen. So no, now we're done. And then sometimes it's the exact opposite thing. Not that it not that it highlights ⁓ a lack of value in you. I'm not saying that. Johnna: It not that it highlights ⁓ a lack of value. I'm not saying that. But sometimes it really does need to be, okay, I'm pissed off, I'm reacting to this emotionally, whatever the situation is, but Clint: But sometimes it really does need to be, okay, I'm pissed off, I'm reacting to this emotionally, whatever the situation is. But there were extenuating circumstances that were maybe out of everybody's control. So we do need to take a step back and understand, yeah, they made this commitment, they said they were gonna do this thing, but here's what happened. And okay, we've extended them grace before, but maybe we need to again because of this particular situation. Johnna: There were extenuating circumstances that were maybe out of everybody's control. Right. So we do need to take a step back and understand, yeah, they made this commitment, they said they were gonna do this thing, but here's what happened. And okay, we've extended them grace before, but maybe we need to again because of this particular situation. Right. And I wanna say that feeling all of these emotions, if you relate with Clem more, you relate with me, those aren't bad things. Clint: if you relate with him more, you relate with me, those aren't bad things. Okay, like I'm not gonna sit here and be like, gosh, John, you're such an asshole. Well actually I do say that a lot. Because someone didn't, you know, respond to something in the time that they said that they would. you know, so have grace in that. But the important thing is to not act out irrationally in that, right? It's to process Johnna: Okay, like I'm not gonna sit here and be like, gosh, Johnny, you're such an asshole. Well, actually I do say that a lot because someone didn't, you know, respond to something in the time that they said that they would. ⁓ you know, so have grace in that. But the important thing is to not act out irrationally in that, right? It's to process those emotions. What's another thing that you've learned this week? Clint: ⁓ man. What else did we talk about? What else did we have written down? Johnna: did we talk about? What else did we have written down? Well, I wrote Living in the In Between. Clint: Living in the in between and trusting the universe. ⁓ my gosh. That's we kind of touched on before. There's so many unknowns at this point with the move and again waiting for people and just really having to embody the you know, I say it all the time, no, just trust that everything's working out for your betterment and I'm doing all of the mantras in my head. Johnna: And trusting the universe. Right. Which we kind of touched on before. There's so many unknowns at this point with the move and again waiting for people and just really having to embody the, you know, I say it all the time, no, just trust that everything's working out for your betterment. And I'm doing all of the mantras in my head that the universe does have my back, the universe source, whatever. Clint: the universe does have my back. I the universe source, whatever, wants the best for me. But then again, when it's not happening on my time when it's not happening on my timeline, then I'm like, ⁓ guess not. Right? So I'm I'm really battling between those two worlds, right? Because that's the old Jhana. Johnna: wants the best for me. But then again, when it's not happening on my time, when it's not happening on my timeline, then I'm like, ⁓ guess not. Right? So I'm I'm really battling between those two worlds, right? Because that's the old Jhana versus the new Jhana emerging out of this, you know Clint: versus the new Jhana emerging out of this, you know, whatever phase of transformation you want to call it, of like, no, I am going to trust that source is working everything out for my good, even though sometimes it's just this waiting period that it's just like, ⁓ my God. Johnna: whatever phase of transformation you wanna call it, of like, no, I am going to trust that source is working everything out for my good, even though sometimes it's just this waiting period that it's just like, ⁓ my gosh. So yeah. Clint: So yeah. My struggle with that has been ⁓ and back to what I was just saying a little bit ago, ⁓ of what what might not even be a lesson learned. I'm just kind of ⁓ talking but ⁓ what is sign ⁓ like if everything is a sign or everything you know from the universe ⁓ how Johnna: My struggle Of what What this might not even be a lesson learned, I'm just kinda talking now, but what is a sign like if everything is a sign or everything, you know, from the universe? Clint: How do you how do you wrap your head around, okay, we've got all these signs that we're supposed to do the certain thing? Johnna: How do you wrap your head around, okay, we've got all these signs that we're supposed to do the certain thing, and then there's a bump in the road, and maybe another bump in the road, and maybe another bump in the road. Like are those signs that we shouldn't be doing it? But this other stuff is still going smooth. Right. This other part of this same idea is is going smooth. I mean, might as well just talk actual examples. Clint: And then there's a bump in the road and maybe another bump in the road and maybe another bump in the road. Like are those signs that we shouldn't be doing it? But this other stuff is still going smooth. Right. Like this other part of this same idea is is going smooth. I mean, might as well just talk actual examples rather than theoretical, but with with our h entire move. Johnna: rather than theoretical, but with with our h entire move, so much of it has gone so smooth, like beyond smooth. Yeah. I can't even believe it. And so as we are working through, you know, all the different components, 'cause there's a million different things going on with it, some of the things are just like it just it's hard to even believe how how smooth things went. And then other things Clint: So much of it has gone so smooth, like beyond smooth. Like I can't even believe it. And so as we are working through, you know, all the different components, because there's a million different things going on with it, some of the things are just like it just it's hard to even believe how how smooth things went. And then other things start hitting hiccups that we maybe we were expecting, maybe we weren't expecting. and Johnna: start hitting hiccups that we maybe we were expecting, maybe we weren't expecting. and are all those signs? Or is it just life? Right. Sometimes it even if you're supposed to do something, it's not gonna be one hundred percent as easy as it possibly could be all the time. Right. So it's just a matter of Clint: Are all those signs or is it just life? Because sometimes it even if you're supposed to do something, it's not gonna be one hundred percent as easy as it possibly could be all the time. So it's just a matter of I guess the the the ongoing process, learning process of what you're talking about with trusting the universe, but also knowing you have to do some shit too. Johnna: I guess the the the ongoing process, learning process of what you're talking about with trusting the universe, but also knowing you have to do some shit to Yeah, you do. I mean you can't just ⁓ you know, it doesn't just come through osmosis, right? And really it's just the learning to pivot, learning to have grace, learning to Clint: just you know it doesn't just come through osmosis, right? And really it's just the learning to pivot, learning to have grace, learning to what do I wanna say? Not get so for me wound up. Right? Just like fuck that. You know, 'cause I'm a like I said before, okay, fuck it. You don't get to buy my house. Someone else gets to, motherfucker. Johnna: What do I wanna say? Not get so for me wound up. Right? Just like fuck that. You know, 'cause I'm a like I said before, okay, fuck it. You don't get to buy my house. Someone else gets to, motherfucker. You're you're not gonna take care of the garden. So that's it. I'm not talking to you anymore. It's a whole new day. So yeah, I think it's that balance. We're just learning that. And it's tough. Clint: You're you're not gonna take care of the garden. So that's it. I'm not talking to you anymore. It's the whole new day. So yeah, I think it's that Johnna: Super easy to talk about, different when you actually have to walk it out, you know, but I I ha I struggle internally with, you know, talking about doing all these things if I didn't walk it out, like hypocrite type situation, can't handle that in myself. Like that, I get a check. Is there a spider on me? Clint: super easy to talk about, different when you actually have to walk it out. You know, but ⁓ I I ha I struggle internally with, you know, talking about doing all these things. If I didn't walk it out, like hypocrite type situation, can't handle that in myself. Like that I gotta check. Is there a spider on me? Johnna: ⁓ there's a bug and I keep feeling it walk on my leg. Anyway, so yeah, just learning learning that. What else? ⁓ Clint: And I keep feeling it. Walk up my leg. Anyway, so yeah, just learning learning that. What else? ⁓ I just had a thought, but the bug distracted me around around those things. Well, do you have something else right now? 'Cause I've got something I have something for me. Okay. I've got something that I gotta process through. I am done sharing anything with anyone. Johnna: Do you have something else right now? I do. I have something for me personally that I learned this week. I am done sharing anything with anyone. All done. I I honestly ⁓ had a situation this week where someone asked me a question and I hesitated giving the answer, but I thought, you know what, let's just see how trustworthy this person is. Clint: Yeah. situation this week where someone asked me a question and I hesitated giving the answer but I thought you know what let's just see how trustworthy this person is and I gave a very what do I want to say like a a just a brief answer because it has to do with the selling of the gym and there's so many different components and I want to Johnna: And I gave a very what do I wanna say like a ⁓ just a brief answer because it has to do with the selling of the gym and there's so many different components and I wanna keep things tight lipped because I know the community that I live in. And I said, you know, I would really appreciate it if you kept this on the down low because there's other parties involved, right? Clint: keep things tight lipped because I know the community that I live in and I said, you know, I would really appreciate it if you kept this on the down low because there's other parties involved, right? And ⁓ my goodness, I'm not gonna say anything. I don't even talk to anyone in the community. Literally ten minutes later, someone came up to me and was like, So and so just told me this, blah blah blah blah blah. And Johnna: And ⁓ my goodness, I'm not gonna say anything. I don't even talk to anyone in the community. Literally 10 minutes later, someone came up to me and was like, so-and-so just told me this, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And because that has happened so much to me, it's like, Jonna, come on, learn the mother effing lesson. ⁓ I I just laughed in my soul. I was like, ⁓ my gosh. Clint: ⁓ I I just laughed in my soul. I was like, ⁓ my gosh, this is hilarious that you still think that you can trust people. Johnna: This is hilarious that you still think that you can trust people. And I know that that sounds so negative because I my heart is that I want to trust people, to be honest with you. But this is why, you know, I come across as someone who keeps to themselves, who doesn't say much, and just ⁓ right? Like Clint: And I know that that sounds so negative because I my heart is that I want to trust people to be honest with you. But this is why, you know, I come across as someone who keeps to themselves, who doesn't say much, and just mr, right? Like a little prickly, I guess, is because of this kind of shit. Johnna: a little prickly, I guess, is because of this kind of shit. And it just I I just was like and it's not on the other person. It's on me for thinking that someone is actually going to be like, ⁓ yes, I don't I don't say anything. And then boom ten minutes later. ⁓ this is what I heard. So I just Clint: And it just I I just was like and it's not on the other person. It's on me for thinking that someone is actually going to be like, ⁓ yes, I don't I don't say anything and then boom ten minutes later. ⁓ this is what I heard. So I just learned I think finally learned to keep your plans Johnna: learned I think finally learned to keep your plans quiet because people ruin things. And that's hard in this situation because we're very much in the public, right? And it's hard to just be quiet about everything. And so I'm trying to find this balance of shh and Clint: Quiet because people ruin things. And that's hard in this situation because we're very much in the public. Mm-hmm. Right? And it's hard to just be quiet about everything. And so I'm trying to find this balance of shh and this is the information that I can share. Mm-hmm. Especially with Johnna: This is the information that I can share. Clint: the specifically with the gym. You know, because there are and and that could be extrapolated out into other things, but because, you know, like when you said I don't I'm not gonna share stuff anymore, like, well, you know, somebody listening might say, well then don't do a fucking podcast. But what what you're really talking about is is that information that you Johnna: said, ⁓ I don't I'm not gonna share stuff anymore like, well, you know, somebody listening might say, don't do a fucking podcast. ⁓ yeah. And I totally get it. I've had those same thoughts. Because Clint: Because we're trying to with the gym specifically, we're trying to keep it open for one and keep it local. Yeah. And keep it with somebody who you know, nobody I I find it very hard to believe that anybody's ever gonna be as invested as Jonna is in elevated fitness. But there are people that can have their own level of investment that is is something like that. Right? That does that make sense? Sure. Johnna: open for one and keep it local. Yeah. And keep it with somebody who you know, nobody I I find it very hard But there are people that can have their own level of investment that is is something like that. Right? Does that make sense? Sure. That makes perfect sense. So that's what we're looking for. Yeah. So you have to at some level talk to the people that are heavily involved in the gym to get some feelers and to get you know and and and several different people have come to us Clint: And and that's what we're looking for. So y you have to at some level talk to the people that are heavily involved in the gym to get some feelers and to get you know and and and several different people have come to us and like, hey, I'm interested. Like I I have an actual interest, not just Johnna: like hey I'm interested. Like I I have an actual interest. Not just ⁓ it'd be great if the gym stayed open. But yeah no like I wanna I wanna talk about this. I want to talk numbers and and realities and like actually move forward with p a potential purchase. So at that point you have to share some information because it can't just be like no we don't trust anybody. You just have to trust us until you give us the money and we'll talk about it totally. So we're Clint: ⁓ it'd be great if the gym stayed open. But no, like I wanna I wanna talk about this. I wanna talk numbers and and realities and like actually move forward with p a potential purchase. So at that point, you have to share some information because it can't just be like, no, we don't trust anybody. You just have to trust us until you give us the money and then we'll talk about you know what I mean? So we're it's kind of and and that. Johnna: where it's kinda and and that that example can can live in in other spaces as well where you've got something that you have to share some information with some people but but then Clint: that example can can live in in other spaces as well where you've got something that you have to share some information with some people, but but then man, you gotta be limited and you gotta be careful. And you know, so I think that's like the the learning part of it. It isn't just shut the fuck up about everything. And it isn't just spread everything. Johnna: Man, you be limited and you gotta be careful. And you know, so I think that's like the the learning part of it. It isn't just shut the fuck up about everything. And it isn't just spread everything. Mm-hmm. I think the hard part for me is that I when I speak about the gym with people that we've met with or even inquired, I have been very pleased Say nothing. Please don't say anything because again, I know how this community works. And when I hold people, which I shouldn't because we've talked about no expectations with people, but when they front as someone who's so smart and so awakened and so whatever, and then they blather on, and this has happened mul multiple times. Clint: No expectations for people. But when they front as someone who's so smart and so awakened and so whatever and then they blather on and this has happened mul multiple times. I've said, please don't say anything, I would really appreciate it and it's just like ten minutes later, right? Johnna: I've said, please don't say anything. I would really appreciate it. And it's just like 10 minutes later, right? In this example, but it's happened over the last month. A little birdie told me, ⁓ I heard this. And I'm thinking, dude, shut up. Humans, listen to me. If you're listening to this podcast, if someone says to you, please do not. Clint: In this example, but it's happened over the last month. A little birdie told me, ⁓ I heard this, and I'm thinking, dude, shut up. Humans, listen to me. If you're listening to this podcast, if someone says to you, please do not repeat this. Johnna: If you're listening to this podcast, if someone says to you, ⁓ do not. ⁓ Clint: If you're listening to this podcast, ⁓ if someone says you, please ⁓ do not ⁓ repeat this. Johnna: Repeat this, what that means in layman's terms is please don't fucking repeat this. And if you want to be known as someone who is trustworthy, then you're going to not repeat it. And if you choose to repeat it, then you're not. Repeat this, what that means in layman's terms is please don't fucking repeat this. And if you want to be known as someone who is trustworthy, then you're going to not repeat it. And if you choose to repeat it, then you're not. That's what it is at the end of the day. So I learned this week that I'm not saying a MFing word. And also I learned. Clint: What that means in layman's terms is please don't fucking repeat this. And if you want to be known as someone who is trustworthy, then you're going to not repeat it. And if you choose to repeat it, then you're not. What that means in layman's terms is please don't fucking repeat this. And if you want to be known as someone who is trustworthy, then you're going to not repeat it. And if you choose to repeat it, then you're not. That's what it is at the end of the day. So I learned this week that I'm not saying a mffing word, and also I learned. I'm just gonna ⁓ expect for everything, every meeting that I've had, every talk that I've had to be laid out into the community and then have it be completely twisted and come back to me in two days. That's my expectation. So that ⁓ and it's unfortunate because it's Johnna: Just gonna ⁓ expect for everything, every meeting that I've had, every talk that I've had to be laid out into the community and then have it be completely twisted and come back to me in two days. That's my expectation. So that ⁓ and it's unfortunate because it's negative, but it is just reality. And we talk about living life. Clint: negative but it is just reality and we talk about living life reality on reality's terms that's the reality of the community that we live in and it's frustrating because I can tell you right now when someone says to me when they confide in me and they say please don't share I don't share Johnna: Reality on realities terms. That's the re reality of the community that we live in. And it's frustrating. Because I can tell you right now, when someone says to me, when they confide in me and they say, please don't share, I don't share. I have a business in this small town. Do you know how much nonsense comes in and out of the doors in terms of like Clint: I have a business in this small town. Do you know how much nonsense comes in and out of the doors in terms of like, ⁓ I heard blah blah blah. Johnna: ⁓ I heard blah blah blah blah. ⁓ I heard a lot. I I say nothing. In fact, there've been times when I've been like, you know what? Let's not talk about that here. We don't like to talk about, you know, how people are struggling. We don't know all the details and we just we're not talking about that here. That's something for for somewhere else. But not elevated fitness. All right, so there you go. I just stepped off of my Clint: I say nothing. In fact there have been times when I've been like, you know what? Let's not talk about that here. We don't like to talk about, you know, how people are struggling. We don't know all the details and we just we're not talking about that here. That's something for for somewhere else. But not elevated fitness. Mm-hmm. Johnna: My soapbox of frustration with this. Cause I still love humanity, you know, and I've I wanna pour into them, but this definitely is like, hmm, I'm being shown where I need to set some boundaries. This is a me issue. Yeah. I think the Clint: My soapbox of frustration with this. 'Cause I still love humanity, you know, and I I wanna pour into them, but this definitely is like, hm, I'm being shown where I need to set some boundaries. This is a me is I think the important an a another important thing to take from that though is it doesn't mean completely shut down or completely isolate or introvert because we still we still as a species we need to be able to communicate with other people. Sure. Yeah. And Johnna: It doesn't No. Mm mm. Because we still we still as a species we need to be able to communicate with other people. Sure, yeah. And and I I really Clint: And I I really think, you know, as we talk about all the the stuff that we talk about, having select people in your life that you can share things with as you, you know, go through whatever journey you're going through is so critically important. For sure. But just be careful. Johnna: having select people in your life that you can share things with as you you know go through Is so critically important. For sure. But just be careful. Yeah. And the problem is is the vetting system, right? And so what you can know, you know, obviously if people are talking about other people, they're talking about you. That's just how it is at the at the end of the day. But sometimes people aren't talking about other people, right? So learning how to read people's energy. Clint: Right? And so what you can know, you know, obviously if people are talking about other people, they're talking about you. That's just how it is at the a at the end of the day. But sometimes people aren't talking about other people, right? So learning how to read people's energy is very important. Johnna: is very important and women specifically, you have this naturally in your DNA. ⁓ listen to it. Listen to it. Because what I struggle with is Jonah, are you being judgy? No, Jonna, turns out you're just reading energy. And I need to trust that. And I've talked about that in other podcasts. All right. So what's something else that you've learned this week? Okay. Yay. Clint: And women specifically, you have this naturally in your DNA. ⁓ listen to it. Listen to it. Because what I struggle with is, Jonna, are you being judgy? No, Jonna, it turns out you're just reading energy. And I need to trust that. Alright, so what's something else learned? I remembered what I was thinking of a while ago. The the importance of I ⁓ the the phrase that came into my head, which is super cheesy and you hear it a lot in corporate America. But laughing bugs. ⁓ are you just trying to make me forget what you know, smash it. But you know what, here's the deal, film Johnna: of I ⁓ the the phrase that came into This fing bug. ⁓ are you just trying to I'm well, I don't wanna you know, smash it. But you know what, here's the deal, 'cause I don't like killing things. Sometimes this box elder bug needs to die. Go ahead. Sorry. Go ahead. Clint: This box elder bug means to die. Most of the time those do. Go ahead. I'm so sorry. ⁓ The ⁓ the phrase is work life balance. You it all time ⁓ in America. And it's just like it's so cringy. ⁓ But ⁓ it is true. And just ⁓ Johnna: I'm so sorry. The ⁓ the phrases You hear it all the time in corporate America. Mm-hmm. And it's just like it's so cringy. But it is true. And just in in the in the context of the last couple weeks, ⁓ I'm not talking about my you know, my job. just talking about when when you have so much going on and Clint: in in the in the context of the last couple weeks, ⁓ I'm not talking about my, you know, my job. ⁓ just talking about when when you have so much going on and you know I'm I'm sure everybody listening to this is thinking we all have so much going on. And you do, most likely. You do. Just r really in those moments Johnna: And you do, most likely, you do. Just really in those moments, trying to keep somewhere in your mind, okay, I need to stop for a minute. Whatever words you want to use, I would I need to decompress, I need you know, I need a break, I need whatever whatever however you want to frame it in your own mind, you do. And it's so easy to get in your head Clint: trying to keep somewhere in your mind, okay, I need to stop for a minute. Whatever words you want to use, I would I need to decompress. I need, you know, I need a break. I need whatever whatever however you want to frame it in your own mind. You do. And it it's so easy to get in your head, No, I'm good. You know, I I don't I don't need to do that. You know, I went to the gym this morning Johnna: No, I'm good. You know, I I don't I don't need to do that, you know. I went to the gym this morning, I'm fine. Now I can just be in a million different projects until sundown when I go to bed. Yeah. And it's just not the case. And, you know, it doesn't mean that you should take all day sitting on the couch, but you should take some time. And do whatever it is that that you know we've talked Clint: I'm fine. Now I can just be in a million different projects until sundown when I go to bed. And it's just not the case. And you know, ⁓ it doesn't mean that you should take all day sitting on the couch, but you should take some time. And do whatever it is that that you know, we've talked about this a lot too. I know I say that a lot, but whatever it is that is your escape from Johnna: I know I say that a lot, but whatever it is that is your escape from things, you know, getting in nature we always advocate for, ⁓ grounding, that kind of thing. But, you know, if it's some other hobby or, you know, some other whatever it is that that allows you to kind of lose yourself in your own mind, not in a here's all my tasks that I have to get done. Clint: things, you know, getting in nature, we always advocate for, ⁓ grounding, that kind of thing. But, you know, if it's some other hobby or, you know, some other whatever it is that that allows you to kind of lose yourself in your own mind, not in a here's all my tasks that I have to get done. But just, you know, I want to think about the birds or I want to think about my ⁓ crochet. Johnna: But just, you know, I wanna think about the birds or I wanna think about my ⁓ crochet or, you know, woodworking or whatever those things are. The thing doesn't matter. And just really being able to realize, okay, here are my cause I mean, Jonna talks about a lot. I've heard she's a Capricorn and that means that she likes to do lists and be very task driven. Clint: Or, you know, woodworking or whatever those things are, the the thing doesn't matter. And just really being able to realize, okay, here are my because I mean, Jonna talks about it a lot. I've heard she's a Capricorn, and that means that she likes to do lists and be very task driven. Which is great. It's great to have that list. But then you can also take that list and say, okay, this is the shit I have to get done. Johnna: Which is great. It's great to have that list. But then you can also take that list and say, Okay, this is the shit I have to get done because going back to what we started this podcast with maybe somebody else is waiting on me for this. Right. Or y or maybe not. You know, maybe there's just a timeline. Whatever it might be. Here's the stuff that isn't quite as pressing. So let me get the stuff done that needs to get done. Yeah. Absolutely needs to get done. Clint: Because going back to what we started this podcast with, maybe somebody else is waiting on me for this. Or y or maybe not. You know, maybe there's just a timeline. Whatever it might be. Here's the stuff that isn't quite as pressing. So let me get the stuff done that needs to get done. That absolutely needs to get done. Now I'll take some time. Now, you know, maybe I'm gonna work on the hat that I'm crocheting for my Johnna: Now I'll take some time. Now, you know, maybe I'm gonna work on the hat that I'm crocheting for my n next grandkid. Or, you know, I'm building a dresser and I'm gonna go stain it or do some sanding on it. You know, whatever those things are, for a ton. For Clint: next grandkid or you know I'm building a dresser and I'm gonna go stain it or do some sanding on it or you know whatever those things are for a time for 30 minutes, an hour, 10 minutes, whatever that time is. And then I can get back to those other things that, you know, are needing to get done but not as pressing. Versus no, I'll I got all these things, I'll get to the the thing that Johnna: thirty minutes, an hour, ten minutes, whatever that time is. And then I can get back to those other things that, you know, are needing to get done but not as pressing. Versus, no, I'll I got all these things, I'll get to the the thing that that matters to me, the the Clint: that matters to me, the the knitting the the hat. I'll get to that tomorrow. I'll get to that tomorrow. I'll get to that tomorrow. All of a sudden a month is gone and you haven't touched it and you're just so frazzled with all your other things. So that importance has been has been highlighted the last long time, but specifically the last couple of weeks of man, we gotta w we got the stuff done that needs to get done. Johnna: knitting the the hat. Let's go lay in the sun for thirty minutes. Yeah, finding joy. you know, in the tasks. You know, it's funny that you mention this because yesterday we've been we've been packing, okay, like for days now. Trying to get ready to send this video to the shipping company of all of our things. Just to to interject 'cause I'm Clint: Let's go lay in the sun for thirty minutes. Yeah. Yesterday we've been we've been packing, okay, like for days now. Trying to get ready to send this video to the shipping company. Just to to interject, because I'm sure you'll it's a fascinating thing to one pack from a move where you have to ship stuff and not just cram it in a U Haul. Yeah. And also moving to a place that's furnished. Yeah. So it's not just like, ⁓ yeah, we're taking all our stuff. Yeah. ⁓ now it's like, well, we we aren't. So so now you you really have to be discerning in what are we taking? What can we ship? What do we need? You know, all those different Johnna: it it's a fascinating thing to one pack for a move where you have to ship stuff and not just cram it in a U Haul. Yep. And also moving a place that's furnished. Yeah. So it's not just like, ⁓ yeah, we're taking all our stuff. Yeah. ⁓ now it's like, well we we aren't. Yeah. So so now you you really have to be discerning in what are we taking, what can we ship, what do we need, you know, all those different pieces. But anyway, so it's it's an added versus just like I said, throwing everything in a U Haul and driving an hour. Clint: pieces. But anyway, so that's it's an added versus just like I said, throwing everything in a U-Haul and driving an hour away. That's still stressful, but it's a different level. I agree. And so this week been about packing. It's been about insane dumb Johnna: That's still stressful, but it's a different level. I agree. And so this week has been about packing. It's been about insane dump runs and donation runs, right? And I have been just going, ⁓ I'm doing good with letting go and this is good, right? Well, yesterday I was working ⁓ maybe I'm gonna cry. I don't know. Whatever. You guys are used to that. I was working in my greenhouse. Clint: Well yesterday I was working maybe I'm I was working in my greenhouse and you know, I'm packing up pots and seeds and all the things in my greenhouse and I go outside to empty a pot of dirt and I hit the top of my head with the eve of my greenhouse and I lost my shit for like hours. Johnna: And you know, I'm packing up pots and seeds and all the things in my greenhouse. And I go outside to empty a pot of dirt and I hit the top of my head with the eve of my greenhouse. And I lost my shit for like hours. All of a sudden, it was like the universe had to knock me in the head, literally, to go. Clint: all of a sudden it was like the universe had to knock me in the head literally to go, you need to go sit down and process through everything that you have just let go and, you know, be happy that you are letting it go, but then also quit distracting yourself with your to do list and process the letting go. Johnna: You need to go sit down and process through everything that you have just let go and you know be happy that you are letting it go, but then also quit distracting yourself with your to do list and process the letting go. Because everyone wants to say. Clint: 'Cause everyone wants to say, ⁓ downsizing is the best and it's so good and it's so freeing and blah. That's on the other side of the tears of actually letting it go. So I sat on the couch for like I don't know, twenty minutes and then I got back up and tried to do more tasks and then I literally like every twenty minutes had to sit down for Johnna: ⁓ downsizing is the best and it's so good and it's so freeing and blah. That's on the other side of the tears of actually letting it go. So I sat on the couch for like I don't know, 20 minutes. And then I got back up and tried to do more tasks. And then I literally like every 20 minutes had to sit down for 10 minutes and like Clint: ten minutes and like cry and just sit there. Now yes my head hurt. But I either told you or I told Emma, I'm like it it like pressed my cry button in my head. Like I'm just now I'm crying 'cause I'm leaving my greenhouse and you know and I'm crying about all the stuff I just donated and the stuff that we had to take to the dump and Johnna: cry and just sit there. Now, yes, my head hurt. But I either told you or I told Emma. I'm like, it it like pressed my cry button in my head. Like I'm just now I'm crying because I'm leaving my greenhouse and you know and I'm crying about all the stuff I just donated and this stuff that we had to take to the dump. And in my head before that I was like, no, I'm I'm fine. I'm totally fine. Clint: in my head before that I was like, No, I'm I'm fine. I'm totally fine. And just allowing all of those emotions, the time and the space to go through me. And I was like, this is universe saying, Sit the buck down. Yeah, and not getting to a point where you have to literally hit yourself in the head. Yeah. To to do that. Learn from me. But you know Johnna: And just allowing all of those emotions, the time and the space to go through me. And and I was like, This is the universe saying, Sit the fuck down. Yeah. And yeah I'm not getting to a yourself in the head. Yeah. To do that. Learn from me. But you know, that's what it takes for me because I could honestly say two days ago when we were making these I mean we've been doing them for days, but every day, like processing the drive to the dump, processing the drive to the donation, like I'm okay. Like I literally was okay. It just takes time, I think, for I don't know, for it Clint: takes for me because I could honestly say two days ago when we were making these d I mean we've been doing ⁓ for days, but every day, like processing the drive to the dump, processing the drive to the donation, like I'm okay. Like I literally was It just takes time I think for I don't know, for it for me to work through it. And ⁓ I kind of felt it in the morning, like a little bit weepy and I like, ⁓ no, you're fine. And there were moments in previous days where I was like, Could I cry now? Yeah, but I'm not going to. So it just that's how I work. So I just had to take a seat. Johnna: for me to work through it. And ⁓ I kind of felt it in the morning, like a little bit weepy. And I was like, ⁓ no, you're fine. And there were moments in previous days where I was like, could I cry right now? Yeah, but I'm not going to. So it just that's how I work. So I just had to take a seat, cry about leaving my greenhouse and my garden. Clint: cry about leaving my greenhouse and my garden. Johnna: I don't wanna sub sub. I don't wanna I mean, I just, you know, I have to be able to talk. Am I crying? Anyway, so taking that time before you get knocked in the head. And then also, you know, finding joy. That's been another lesson this week. Doing things that make you joyful. We get so task oriented, I do, that it's like, you know. Clint: in my crying. Anyway, so taking that time before you get knocked in the head and then also, you know, finding Make you joyful. We get so task oriented, I do, that it's like, you know, I haven't done anything fun or just or you know, in a lot of days. And so that's super important. The laughing especially, I'm glad you brought that up. Because yes, ⁓ y there's there's a separation in my mind between having fun and laughing. Johnna: I haven't done anything fun or just laughed or you know, in a lot of days. And so that's super important. That's all I'm gonna say. Yes, y there's there's a separation in my Mm. And certainly lots of times they go together. Yeah. But sometimes they don't. And and they're both very important. Clint: And certainly lots of times they go together. But sometimes they don't. And and they're both very important. Having fun is very important, whatever your fun thing is. You know, like I was talking about before. But and I I mean, maybe this is all cliche and I'm certainly not breaking any ground, but there's no substitute for laughing. Legitimately laughing. Not just some stupid little chuckle, but Johnna: Yeah. But and I I mean maybe this is all cliche and I'm certainly not breaking any ground, but there's no substitute for laughing. Yeah, I legitimately ⁓ laughing. Yeah. Not just some stupid little chuckle, but being in a situation where I guess maybe because it really means you're fully into whatever, you know, you it it's it's tough to get like a legitimate belly laugh, you know. Clint: Being in a situation where I guess maybe because it really means you're fully into whatever, you know, you it it's it's tough to get like a legitimate belly laugh, you know, when you're thinking about all the tasks that you have to do. Or whatever, you know, issues or problems or whatever. Like you gotta be in that moment. Yeah, you do. been really interesting I if you guys follow us on TikTok everyone Johnna: when you're thinking about all the tasks that you have to do. Totally. Or whatever, you know, issues or problems or whatever. Like you gotta be in that moment. Yeah, you do. It's been really interesting because I if you guys follow us on TikTok every once in a while, you know, I'll tell a joke or whatever to Clint. And when these jokes come up on my feed that I retell 'cause I'm not coming up with original shit. I laugh so hard. And it's such a good feeling. It's like you can feel your entire heart chakra just kind of burst forth. So yeah, it's super important. Are we ready to wrap this up? Do you have anything else on your list? I do. I'm gonna end it with the very last thing that I learned this week and we don't even need to expand on it. ⁓ yeah. I learned that gas is fifty cents cheaper on the island of Kauai currently than in our small town. Clint: And it's such a good feeling. It's like you can feel your entire heart chakra just kind of burst forth. So, yeah, it's super important. Do have anything else on your list? I do. I'm gonna end it with the very last thing that I learned this year. Okay and we don't even need to expand on it. ⁓ Yeah. I learned that gas is fifty cents cheaper on than in our small town.
