- 0:02Speaker 1: Are you allergic to success or just addicted to failure?
- 0:07Speaker 1: This is your life, my friend. And I'm sure when
- 0:09Speaker 1: it's all said and done, you don't want to look back.
- 0:12Speaker 2: And see that you wasted it. Log out of the
- 0:15Speaker 2: social media. Get off the internet.
- 0:18Speaker 1: Unplug and evaluate where you are.
- 0:22Speaker 2: And where you're supposed to be.
- 0:23Speaker 3: You know how much dumb time you guys waste?
- 0:27Speaker 4: Busy as shit. Fuck you.
- 0:28Speaker 5: You got time.
- 0:30Speaker 2: You know you got time.
- 0:33Speaker 3: And chasing skirts and playing video games.
- 0:35Speaker 2: Put him out. It's that son of a bitch's fault.
- 0:39Speaker 2: Son of a gun.
- 0:40Speaker 6: I did everything I could. But if you woke up
- 0:43Speaker 6: in the morning and looked in the mirror and said,
- 0:46Speaker 6: I am failing because of me. The decisions that I make.
- 0:51Speaker 6: The energy I put in.
- 0:53Speaker 2: I'm not passing the blame. If you look in the.
- 0:56Speaker 6: Mirror tomorrow and say that, you will change.
- 1:00Speaker 7: So the bottom line, you're not willing to do anything.
- 1:03Speaker 7: You're not willing to sacrifice anything to be a high-performance person.
- 1:07Speaker 1: I'm talking to that person that's tired of where they are.
- 1:11Speaker 1: There's something that you love more than yourself.
- 1:15Speaker 2: Than your dream, than your goals.
- 1:17Speaker 1: Whatever you do, I guarantee you, when you do it,
- 1:20Speaker 1: nobody can do it like you do it. The problem
- 1:23Speaker 1: is you don't hardly do it. It seems like here
- 1:26Speaker 1: that a 70 is an A.
- 1:31Speaker 6: So how do we get better every day? How do
- 1:34Speaker 6: we find those resources? How do we find the energy,
- 1:38Speaker 6: the knowledge to do that?
- 1:41Speaker 1: I don't know if I could just say like, wow,
- 1:43Speaker 1: I got some some legitimate haters out here, people who
- 1:45Speaker 1: don't think it could work. I just can't see myself
- 1:47Speaker 1: just letting them just be like.
- 1:48Speaker 2: I told you so.
- 1:51Speaker 7: How many of you can say that you're serious about it?
- 1:53Speaker 7: How many of you can actually say that you're trying
- 1:56Speaker 7: to be all you can be? Now, I won't insult
- 1:59Speaker 7: you by asking you to raise your hand because you
- 2:01Speaker 7: just lie.
- 2:03Speaker 2: We all know what the real answer is, don't we?
- 2:06Speaker 7: You're not.
- 2:07Speaker 4: If you could have what you wanted and needed, what
- 2:09Speaker 4: might that look like? And there's an instruction there, too,
- 2:12Speaker 4: is do it badly.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Because what the hell do you know?
- 2:16Speaker 4: And besides, your vision's going to change as you progress
- 2:19Speaker 4: through your life. And so you're not going to get
- 2:20Speaker 4: it done perfectly.
- 2:22Speaker 5: But that's okay.
- 2:25Speaker 2: Get it down.
- 2:26Speaker 4: Get a rough first draft down, right? A rough approximation
- 2:28Speaker 4: of who you could be if you got your act together.
- 2:31Speaker 8: Don't you understand? Don't you get it? It's not easy,
- 2:36Speaker 8: but it's worth it. There are going to be nights
- 2:39Speaker 8: you're going to cry yourself to sleep. There are going
- 2:41Speaker 8: to be times you're going to want to throw in
- 2:42Speaker 8: the towel.
- 2:43Speaker 1: But if you keep going, your future self will thank you.
- 2:49Speaker 6: If you give somebody a line to put an excuse in,
- 2:52Speaker 6: they will put something in that line every freaking time.
- 2:57Speaker 2: But you can't. You can't. Because you're the people who
- 3:02Speaker 2: make it happen.
- 3:03Speaker 9: Aren't you?
- 3:03Speaker 2: Every one of those excuses was bullshit.
- 3:06Speaker 10: Wasn't it?
- 3:06Speaker 2: Think about it.
- 3:07Speaker 6: Every single one, at the end of the day, winners win.
- 3:11Speaker 1: When you come from nothing, one day I made a
- 3:16Speaker 1: decision that enough is enough. I'm tired of being average.
- 3:19Speaker 1: I made a decision enough is enough.
- 3:22Speaker 2: It's showtime to come back.
- 3:25Speaker 1: And they wonder why I'm ahead. I'm ahead because I
- 3:29Speaker 1: have the will. I'm ahead because I have the consistency.
- 3:33Speaker 1: I'm ahead Because I have the fortitude to never stop,
- 3:38Speaker 1: no matter what.
- 3:39Speaker 2: And my enemies don't feel like that, my friend. So
- 3:42Speaker 2: you pray for my enemies. I was going to rip
- 3:47Speaker 2: his heart out. I'm the best ever.
- 3:49Speaker 11: I'm the most brutal in this Michigan, most ruthless champion
- 3:52Speaker 11: there's ever been.
- 3:53Speaker 2: I'll show you how much you can truly burn. They
- 3:56Speaker 2: left you for dead.
- 3:57Speaker 1: I know what that feels like to be left for
- 4:01Speaker 1: dead after you gave everything you had.
- 4:03Speaker 4: Tomorrow night, I'm going to smash your boy, guys.
- 4:07Speaker 2: I'm going to smash your boy.
- 4:12Speaker 1: They will not see you coming as you rise, as
- 4:17Speaker 1: you work every single day tirelessly. Work, work, work, work, work, damn.
- 4:29Speaker 5: It, work, work.
- 4:32Speaker 1: Ward!
- 4:33Speaker 5: Ward!
- 4:34Speaker 1: Ward!
- 4:35Speaker 12: Ward!
- 4:36Speaker 2: Ward! Ward!
- 4:39Speaker 1: Ward!
- 4:41Speaker 13: Ward! Ward!
- 4:42Speaker 1: Ward!
- 4:44Speaker 13: Ward!
- 4:45Speaker 5: Ward!
- 4:46Speaker 13: Ward!
- 4:46Speaker 5: Ward!
- 4:46Speaker 1: Ward!
- 4:46Speaker 2: Ward!
- 4:47Speaker 14: Ward!
- 4:48Speaker 2: Ward!
- 4:48Speaker 5: Ward!
- 5:03Speaker 1: It's time you realize that weakness, it is my strength.
- 5:09Speaker 2: That pain, it is my development. That struggle, it is
- 5:15Speaker 2: my triumph.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Everything you think that is here to take me down
- 5:21Speaker 1: is here to fill me up.
- 5:28Speaker 15: If all you want is success, you will not have it.
- 5:33Speaker 15: And so if all you want is the success, if
- 5:35Speaker 15: all you want is a trophy, but you don't want
- 5:39Speaker 15: a story, a process, if you don't want to be
- 5:41Speaker 15: made into.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Something, then you've already missed it. You've already failed. You've
- 5:46Speaker 1: already tanked. And so once you get this, everything changes.
- 5:53Speaker 1: What have been the biggest obstacles in your life? What
- 5:56Speaker 1: has stopped you?
- 5:56Speaker 2: What has hindered you? What has provoked you to get lazy?
- 6:01Speaker 2: when life pushed you down, when everybody said, you are not.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Enough, when you told yourself, I quit because I can't finish, and.
- 6:10Speaker 2: You got back up the next day and kept going.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Sacrifice is going to have to become your companion and
- 6:16Speaker 1: no longer your enemy. Too many of you think sacrifice
- 6:20Speaker 1: is your enemy. Sacrifice is a curse word. Sacrifice is bad.
- 6:24Speaker 1: I don't want to sacrifice.
- 6:26Speaker 2: Well, guess what?
- 6:28Speaker 15: You cannot have success without process, without sacrifice.
- 6:34Speaker 2: You cannot have it.
- 6:36Speaker 1: If all you see is success, then you've missed the
- 6:40Speaker 1: entire moment. Because it is the journey, it is the grit,
- 6:44Speaker 1: it is the grind, it's the prayers that you pray,
- 6:46Speaker 1: it's the tears that you've cried, it's the rejection that
- 6:49Speaker 1: you've had to take on your back. And so we
- 6:52Speaker 1: all know these things that we've got to sacrifice oftentimes.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Sometimes it's sleep. Sometimes it's your relationship. Sometimes it's those
- 7:00Speaker 1: urges that we might get and we gotta sacrifice those urges.
- 7:02Speaker 1: We gotta sacrifice. Is it fear that we need to
- 7:09Speaker 1: let go of? Is it unnecessary stress? Come on, is
- 7:12Speaker 1: it those unidentified triggers?
- 7:14Speaker 2: What is it?
- 7:14Speaker 1: What hobbies do I need to let go of? What
- 7:17Speaker 1: people do I need to let go of? What opinions
- 7:19Speaker 1: of people do I need to let go of? What's
- 7:21Speaker 1: wasting my time? And so when sacrifice becomes your companion,
- 7:28Speaker 1: it is only then that we can begin to step
- 7:31Speaker 1: into the process of what is required to climb mountains.
- 7:34Speaker 1: Everybody wants to get to the top of the mountain,
- 7:36Speaker 1: but nobody wants to climb.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Sacrifice is going to build me. Sacrifice is going to
- 7:40Speaker 2: prepare me. I'm going to be equipped. I'm going to
- 7:42Speaker 2: be conditioned.
- 7:44Speaker 1: Destiny is haunting us, breathing down our necks, asking us,
- 7:50Speaker 1: when are we going to step forward?
- 7:53Speaker 2: When am I going to march into this thing? But
- 8:00Speaker 2: I didn't listen to those losers.
- 8:03Speaker 13: I didn't listen to them at all. Because that's exactly
- 8:07Speaker 13: the way it was in politics again when everyone said no, no, no,
- 8:10Speaker 13: and it can't be done. And then became governor of California.
- 8:13Speaker 13: And this is with everything like that. It's just the
- 8:15Speaker 13: reality of it is that you cannot listen to the naysayers.
- 8:19Speaker 13: So this is a very important lesson for all of you.
- 8:23Speaker 13: So when someone says, no, this is a stupid idea,
- 8:26Speaker 13: you in your mind, you don't have to say it,
- 8:27Speaker 13: but in your mind just say this, fuck you, you're
- 8:30Speaker 13: an asshole. What do you know?
- 8:38Speaker 1: But you have not sacrificed, you have not suffered, you
- 8:43Speaker 1: are not committed. When you are committed, you give everything
- 8:49Speaker 1: you have. Every single week, every single day, every single hour,
- 8:55Speaker 1: every single minute.
- 8:57Speaker 2: 720 hours a month, you are beating on your craft.
- 9:06Speaker 2: and undying will, commitment, and effort.
- 9:10Speaker 7: Even if you get knocked down, you get back up,
- 9:11Speaker 7: and you get back up, and you.
- 9:12Speaker 9: Get back up, and you continue to throw shit against
- 9:14Speaker 9: the wall because you believe in the purpose, you find
- 9:17Speaker 9: value in it. Day in and day out, you got
- 9:20Speaker 9: to keep on thriving, you got to keep on working.
- 9:23Speaker 2: And if you're getting knocked down, so what?
- 9:27Speaker 16: Rise up!
- 9:29Speaker 2: That's the great divide. Those people who get up on
- 9:32Speaker 2: those days when everything's fucked up and still.
- 9:35Speaker 1: Crying, That's the separator right there.
- 9:39Speaker 2: Game on the line.
- 9:40Speaker 17: Who would take the last shot?
- 9:42Speaker 2: Me.
- 9:43Speaker 5: That's a dumb question.
- 9:45Speaker 3: Me.
- 9:46Speaker 1: When it's beast time, when it's war time, you got to.
- 9:49Speaker 2: Get up and make it happen. You feel great. Your
- 9:54Speaker 2: body's not injured.
- 9:58Speaker 1: Those are the easy days to conquer. But who are
- 10:01Speaker 1: you on those fucking days when all hell's broke loose?
- 10:06Speaker 2: Your body's fucked up. You're sore.
- 10:09Speaker 1: You're depressed.
- 10:11Speaker 2: You're miserable. You're not the favorite person at school. You
- 10:16Speaker 2: might be getting bullied. Might be falling behind in life.
- 10:21Speaker 2: Who are you on those days? When shit's all fucked up.
- 10:26Speaker 18: You made it about your girlfriend last time. You made
- 10:29Speaker 18: it about your boyfriend last time. You made it about
- 10:32Speaker 18: your kids last time. And your kids started acting up
- 10:35Speaker 18: and then you let the dream go. It's got to
- 10:37Speaker 18: start with you and God first.
- 10:39Speaker 1: Listen, God put a gift inside of everybody.
- 10:42Speaker 2: And it's our responsibility to reach it to the world.
- 10:49Speaker 12: There were times back when I was backstage and I'd
- 10:51Speaker 12: see a mirror and I'd turn my head when I
- 10:54Speaker 12: walked past it because I didn't want to know how
- 10:58Speaker 12: I looked. Because I was never in it to look.
- 11:01Speaker 1: A certain way.
- 11:04Speaker 2: I was in it to be good and to be great.
- 11:12Speaker 12: The way I looked back then, that was all good
- 11:15Speaker 12: and great, but I wasn't in it to look good.
- 11:17Speaker 2: I was in it to be great. Let me tell
- 11:22Speaker 2: you something, my friend.
- 11:23Speaker 1: Because of your downfall, maybe because of you, nobody else
- 11:28Speaker 1: but you, you keep looking around, trying to place blame
- 11:31Speaker 1: on things, people, everything else, instead of looking in the
- 11:35Speaker 1: mirror at oneself and looking at who caused this in
- 11:38Speaker 1: the first place. You closed the door on yourself because
- 11:42Speaker 1: you are afraid now. To look within yourself and see
- 11:46Speaker 1: who did it, my friend.
- 11:47Speaker 2: You are the one.
- 11:49Speaker 1: But you have the key to unlock that door and
- 11:53Speaker 1: become something more.
- 11:57Speaker 11: They lost the fight before they even got hit.
- 11:59Speaker 2: Most guys.
- 12:00Speaker 11: I knew the artists could do it. I knew how
- 12:03Speaker 11: to beat these guys psychologically before I even got in.
- 12:05Speaker 1: The ring with them.
- 12:09Speaker 10: What it really comes down to is people just don't
- 12:11Speaker 10: want it bad enough. Because I've seen countless examples of
- 12:14Speaker 10: people that will say they don't have time, that say
- 12:17Speaker 10: they don't know how, but when something becomes important enough
- 12:20Speaker 10: for them, they figure it out.
- 12:35Speaker 11: I walk around the ring, but I never take my
- 12:37Speaker 11: eyes off my opponent. I keep my eyes on him,
- 12:46Speaker 11: even if he's ready and pumping, he can't wait to
- 12:49Speaker 11: get his hands on me as well. I keep my
- 12:51Speaker 11: eyes on him, I keep my eyes on him, I
- 12:53Speaker 11: keep my eyes on him. Then once I see a
- 12:59Speaker 11: chink in his arm, boom, one of his eyes may move,
- 13:02Speaker 11: and then I know I have him.
- 13:18Speaker 19: Because coming back from a martial arts background, I understood
- 13:21Speaker 19: I could learn from anyone. It could be a guy
- 13:23Speaker 19: in a gym next door to me that's training, and
- 13:25Speaker 19: I would steal different.
- 13:26Speaker 17: Parts from everyone that fits me.
- 13:28Speaker 1: I'd take this part from this guy, this part from that.
- 13:37Speaker 13: Guy.
- 13:37Speaker 12: It ain't nothing like having your hard work paid off, because,
- 13:41Speaker 12: you know, when.
- 13:42Speaker 2: I put myself.
- 13:45Speaker 12: I pass for doing something, I go all out, you know.
- 13:52Speaker 9: Recognize that if you're living, if you're breathing, then you
- 13:55Speaker 9: got work to do.
- 13:57Speaker 2: And if you fall down, get back up. If you quit,
- 13:59Speaker 2: you're done.
- 14:00Speaker 5: Because you can't go back.
- 14:05Speaker 9: And you definitely shouldn't be trying to start over.
- 14:08Speaker 2: Start up with the right.
- 14:10Speaker 9: Mindset and get it done.
- 14:13Speaker 2: Don't you quit.
- 14:15Speaker 1: You fight.
- 14:16Speaker 2: You push. You work. When the sun comes up, you've
- 14:22Speaker 2: got all the books. You've got all the tapes. You've
- 14:24Speaker 2: got all the access. Now it's time to hunt.
- 14:28Speaker 1: And what separates you from everybody else is that when
- 14:31Speaker 1: it's time to hunt, you're ready to hunt.
- 14:37Speaker 11: During the fight, I'm supremely confident. I'm moving my head
- 14:40Speaker 11: and throwing punches. I'm making a miss and I'm countering.
- 14:43Speaker 11: I'm hitting him to the body. I'm punching real hard.
- 14:46Speaker 11: And I'm punching, and when I'm punching him, I know
- 14:48Speaker 11: he's not able to take my punches.
- 14:50Speaker 2: One, two, three punches.
- 14:51Speaker 11: I'm throwing punches and punches.
- 14:53Speaker 2: He goes down, he's out.
- 14:55Speaker 1: I'm victorious.
- 14:57Speaker 2: Mike Tyson, greatest fighter that ever lived.
- 15:01Speaker 1: Every time I go in that game and come out,
- 15:03Speaker 1: I got a new scratch.
- 15:05Speaker 2: It became personal with me.
- 15:11Speaker 7: OK, you've been trained. Keep your head down. Don't embarrass yourself.
- 15:16Speaker 7: Don't embarrass the family. Don't say things that may not happen.
- 15:23Speaker 7: And I do just the opposite. You will never exceed
- 15:27Speaker 7: your highest expectation. You will never exceed your highest, craziest thought.
- 15:32Speaker 5: Never.
- 15:35Speaker 7: That's a guarantee.
- 15:37Speaker 13: So is that what it needs?
- 15:39Speaker 2: You have to be hungry?
- 15:40Speaker 5: You need to feel the pain?
- 15:43Speaker 7: Growth only comes through pain.
- 15:46Speaker 6: So, if you wake up tomorrow morning and blame your
- 15:50Speaker 6: failure on someone or something else, you have no reason
- 15:55Speaker 6: to change, do you?
- 15:57Speaker 16: Let's make a little vision of that.
- 15:59Speaker 2: You're 35.
- 16:01Speaker 4: You hate your job. What's the consequence?
- 16:03Speaker 2: You're not motivated.
- 16:04Speaker 4: You don't want to get out of bed in the morning.
- 16:06Speaker 4: You're starting to get depressed. You're getting bitter. You're getting resentful.
- 16:09Speaker 4: You're getting cynical. You're amotivated at work. You're not doing
- 16:13Speaker 4: a very good job. And you're starting to shrink. Now
- 16:18Speaker 4: play that out for 10 years. You don't change it.
- 16:22Speaker 5: You don't fix it. And what happens?
- 16:25Speaker 4: It's not like it's going to get better of its
- 16:27Speaker 4: own accord. What's going to happen to you? Well, for sure,
- 16:32Speaker 4: at minimum, what's going to happen to you is... you're
- 16:36Speaker 4: gonna be in the same situation but 10 years older.
- 16:41Speaker 4: And if you can't get out of that situation now,
- 16:44Speaker 4: what the hell makes you think you're gonna get out
- 16:46Speaker 4: of it in 10 years?
- 16:49Speaker 17: It's real easy.
- 16:50Speaker 3: To not let judgment come in when you have empathy
- 16:52Speaker 3: for the other person and know they're just seeing a
- 16:55Speaker 3: clip of you or just one moment of time.
- 16:56Speaker 2: They don't know you.
- 16:59Speaker 3: Everybody's slow because they value other people's opinions. I just
- 17:04Speaker 3: have no time for that.
- 17:05Speaker 2: No, my friend.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Don't pray for me. You pray for my enemies. Because
- 17:12Speaker 1: they're the ones who need it the most. Because while
- 17:16Speaker 1: I'm running in the cold, forbidden rain, you know what
- 17:20Speaker 1: my enemies are doing? My enemies are sleeping. My enemies
- 17:26Speaker 1: are bathing in jealousy. My enemies are living in envy
- 17:32Speaker 1: because they don't have the consistency They don't have the
- 17:36Speaker 1: dedication to get up every single day and make it happen,
- 17:42Speaker 1: my friend. So you pray for my enemies because my
- 17:46Speaker 1: enemies are the ones who need.
- 17:48Speaker 2: It the most.
- 17:49Speaker 3: The greatest version of life I've ever seen is the
- 17:52Speaker 3: one I'm living, which is nobody ever disappoints you because
- 17:56Speaker 3: you never expected anything from anybody. I'm telling you right now,
- 18:00Speaker 3: you want to talk about why so many of you
- 18:02Speaker 3: aren't exactly where you want to be? Look deep inside
- 18:05Speaker 3: yourself on what your expectations of others are. And then
- 18:08Speaker 3: the worst of you are the ones that do shit
- 18:12Speaker 3: expecting something more in return.
- 18:15Speaker 1: But you have the opportunity every single day to make
- 18:19Speaker 1: extraordinary decisions. Your daily decisions, your habits, your programming, the
- 18:25Speaker 1: way that you think, the way that you talk, the
- 18:27Speaker 1: way that you walk, blood, sweat, tears, sacrifice.
- 18:31Speaker 2: Because my enemies don't understand. They don't understand the grind.
- 18:35Speaker 2: They don't understand the hustle.
- 18:37Speaker 1: They don't understand coming back from adversity to come back
- 18:41Speaker 1: on top, my friend. Every single day, somebody said yesterday, ET,
- 18:46Speaker 1: you gave 120.
- 18:47Speaker 2: What you going to do tomorrow? I said, I don't know.
- 18:51Speaker 2: Get 140.
- 18:51Speaker 1: I don't know, but I don't have days where I
- 18:54Speaker 1: don't feel like it.
- 18:55Speaker 13: Why?
- 18:56Speaker 2: Because I'm counting on me. My wife's counting on me.
- 18:59Speaker 2: I don't have days to waste.
- 19:04Speaker 5: We are firemen!
- 19:05Speaker 2: The heat doesn't bother us.
- 19:07Speaker 5: We live in the heat.
- 19:08Speaker 2: We train in the heat. It tells us that we're ready.
- 19:13Speaker 2: We're at home.
- 19:14Speaker 9: We're where we're supposed to be.
- 19:18Speaker 2: Flames don't incriminate us. What do we do? We control
- 19:23Speaker 2: the flame. We control them. We move the place where
- 19:32Speaker 2: we want to. And then we extinguish them. Are you
- 19:36Speaker 2: bold enough? Are you radical enough in your hunger and
- 19:38Speaker 2: your thirst.
- 19:39Speaker 1: To go after what it is that you believe is yours?
- 19:43Speaker 2: Are you crazy enough?
- 19:45Speaker 1: Are you courageous enough to disappear.
- 19:48Speaker 2: For 30 days? come back and shock the world?
- 19:53Speaker 10: You're going to hate yourself in the morning.
- 19:56Speaker 2: Why are you falling back? No, don't tell me yes. Why?
- 20:00Speaker 13: Because I'm a stud.
- 20:02Speaker 5: I'm bossy.
- 20:03Speaker 2: I don't take no shit from anyone.
- 20:05Speaker 13: I smoke my stogie anywhere I want. I don't have
- 20:08Speaker 13: to find a hideout place like you.
- 20:11Speaker 1: Demons far and wide, hear my promise and hear my vow.
- 20:17Speaker 1: When I speak the name of my Lord, all heads
- 20:20Speaker 1: will turn and all heads shall bow.
- 20:23Speaker 2: I will never give in! And that is something you
- 20:26Speaker 2: should already know! I'm a warrior of God!
- 20:30Speaker 1: And on this night, the gates will remain closed!
- 20:35Speaker 20: This will be the story that I will one day tell.
- 20:38Speaker 21: And that means the harder it is, the bigger the dragon,
- 20:42Speaker 21: the more epic the story, and by consequence, the more.
- 20:46Speaker 1: Epic the hero.
- 20:47Speaker 22: Nobody could beat this guy until Buster Douglas proved he
- 20:50Speaker 22: could get beat. And what people found out was Mike
- 20:53Speaker 22: Tyson's strength is if you can last at least five
- 20:56Speaker 22: rounds with this guy, he.
- 20:57Speaker 2: Ain't got no more juice left. And if he can't
- 20:59Speaker 2: get you in five, he can't get you. And all
- 21:02Speaker 2: you got to do is outlast him.
- 21:03Speaker 22: There's some things in life that all you got to
- 21:06Speaker 22: do is outlast him. And if you could just out,
- 21:10Speaker 22: you ain't gotta swing, you ain't gotta be going through it,
- 21:13Speaker 22: you just gotta learn the secret of, how can I
- 21:15Speaker 22: survive these next couple rounds? Because if I can get
- 21:18Speaker 22: past this, then I can knock him out. And they
- 21:21Speaker 22: ask Buster Douglas at the end, they say, how in
- 21:23Speaker 22: the world did you beat Mike Tyson? He said, because
- 21:26Speaker 22: I promised my mama before she died, I was going
- 21:29Speaker 22: to beat her.
- 21:32Speaker 23: Before you get your feelings hurt by that bully at school,
- 21:35Speaker 23: or that boss at work, Take time. Take that one
- 21:40Speaker 23: second to pull back and study them. Because most people
- 21:44Speaker 23: who are in good places, they don't care about what
- 21:48Speaker 23: you're doing.
- 21:49Speaker 2: Stop letting things dictate your life.
- 21:52Speaker 24: You are the one that's in the driver's seat.
- 21:56Speaker 2: If excuses is.
- 21:57Speaker 1: The passenger, open up the door and kick them out.
- 22:02Speaker 1: And keep on driving down your path.
- 22:06Speaker 21: The difficult part of the Lonely Chapter is that the
- 22:11Speaker 21: Rocky cut scene lasts 90 seconds in the movie and
- 22:14Speaker 21: lasts five years in reality.
- 22:17Speaker 2: What's the matter with you?
- 22:18Speaker 25: Tomorrow.
- 22:20Speaker 2: There is no tomorrow! There is no tomorrow! There is
- 22:26Speaker 2: no tomorrow!
- 22:28Speaker 1: And people that write in and say, I'm lost, I
- 22:30Speaker 1: don't know how to do this, I don't know how.
- 22:31Speaker 2: To do that. Drop your f * * * ing nuts.
- 22:34Speaker 26: For once in your life, have some ownership, some credibility behind.
- 22:37Speaker 2: Your actions and your words. Mean what you say, do
- 22:40Speaker 2: what you say.
- 22:42Speaker 24: Follow through for something for one time in your life.
- 22:46Speaker 2: One time, follow through on what you say. Do you
- 22:48Speaker 2: ever feel a high that you've never felt before? When
- 22:52Speaker 2: you follow through on things in.
- 22:53Speaker 7: Life, guys, you achieve the confidence, the mentality that anything's possible.
- 22:59Speaker 2: Everybody wants to be praised.
- 23:01Speaker 1: And celebrated, but nobody wants to sacrifice.
- 23:04Speaker 2: Nobody wants to put in the work.
- 23:06Speaker 1: Nobody wants to let go of every single distraction. Can
- 23:10Speaker 1: you learn how to say no? to what's hurting you.
- 23:14Speaker 1: No to what's stopping you. No to the people that
- 23:16Speaker 1: don't believe in you. The fakes and the phonies and
- 23:19Speaker 1: the people that keep saying that they'll support you when
- 23:22Speaker 1: you get there but they leave you when you arrive.
- 23:26Speaker 2: Claim what's yours. Own what's yours. You are a unique individual.
- 23:35Speaker 9: Everybody is never going to be where they want to
- 23:37Speaker 9: be in life because sometimes they focus too.
- 23:40Speaker 16: Much on the bad things and not claiming the good times.
- 23:43Speaker 9: Not claiming, hey, no matter what struggle I go through,
- 23:47Speaker 9: I am going to make it.
- 23:50Speaker 2: Don't think like you.
- 23:51Speaker 1: They don't walk like you.
- 23:53Speaker 2: They don't sacrifice like you.
- 23:54Speaker 1: They're not willing to put in the blood, the sweat,
- 23:57Speaker 1: the tears behind closed doors. A man is rewarded in
- 24:02Speaker 1: public for what he does in private.
- 24:06Speaker 21: If you think about the difference between winners and losers,
- 24:09Speaker 21: winners define themselves by what they made happen. Losers define
- 24:14Speaker 21: themselves by what happened to them.
- 24:18Speaker 16: Abercrombie and Fitch, last name. Armani is the last name.
- 24:22Speaker 16: Baskin-Robbins is the last name. Chrysler is the last name. Fisher-Price, Gucci, Hennessy, Harley-Davidson, Hilton, Honda, Kohl's,
- 24:33Speaker 16: Kraft Foods, Lowe's Movie Theater, Marriott is the last name.
- 24:37Speaker 16: Maybach is the last name. Nordstrom is the last name.
- 24:40Speaker 16: Pillsbury is the last name. Porsche is the last name.
- 24:44Speaker 16: Proctor and Gamble, two last names.
- 24:46Speaker 5: Rose Royce, Charles Rose.
- 24:49Speaker 2: Henry Royce, last names. Turner Broadcast System, Ted Turner.
- 24:53Speaker 1: Last name.
- 24:54Speaker 16: Versace, last name. Wells Fargo, Henry Wells, William Fargo, last name. Walgreens,
- 25:00Speaker 16: last name. Wrigley's, last name. Welch's Grape Juice, last name.
- 25:08Speaker 16: What if you started thinking about your kids? What if
- 25:10Speaker 16: you started thinking about your legacy? What if God started
- 25:13Speaker 16: dropping Canaan and opening up windows of heaven?
- 25:15Speaker 2: Because now you're not.
- 25:16Speaker 22: Just thinking about you, you're thinking kingdom.
- 25:21Speaker 23: So I started making these mixtapes with all of these
- 25:25Speaker 23: hate messages about people talking shit. And it became such
- 25:31Speaker 23: a source of fuel. It was amazing because I know
- 25:35Speaker 23: why you hate me. You hate me because you're probably
- 25:37Speaker 23: in the bed right now. You're probably underachieving. You're probably
- 25:41Speaker 23: somebody who doesn't want to.
- 25:43Speaker 2: Do anything with your life.
- 25:46Speaker 23: So I make you question everything about yourself. So I'm
- 25:51Speaker 23: going to continue making you question yourself by coming out
- 25:54Speaker 23: here and being even more successful.
- 25:57Speaker 9: I'm talking to the one that's been through hell. You
- 26:02Speaker 9: got to fight. You got to push. You got to
- 26:06Speaker 9: give everything you have. Because I tell you this, weakness.
- 26:11Speaker 2: Won't save you. You're alive, my friend. You're alive, my friend.
- 26:17Speaker 2: You're alive. You're alive, my friend. And realize that.
- 26:24Speaker 9: You've got to be willing to sacrifice. You've got to
- 26:28Speaker 9: be willing to hurt. You've got to be willing to
- 26:30Speaker 9: yell out whatever it takes.
- 26:33Speaker 2: Keep pushing forward. Don't you give up on your life.
- 26:37Speaker 2: Don't you give up on those reps.
- 26:39Speaker 9: Don't you give up on giving it what it takes
- 26:42Speaker 9: to get the most of yourself.
- 26:45Speaker 2: I've done all that work up to now. The best
- 26:47Speaker 2: I can fucking be at this fucking moment. I know that.
- 26:50Speaker 2: I solidified that through all this shit. Whatever happens.
- 26:55Speaker 2: It's the best I can be at that moment.
- 27:03Speaker 11: What advice would you give the 20 year old version
- 27:05Speaker 11: of yourself?
- 27:07Speaker 27: I think the biggest advice I could give myself is
- 27:11Speaker 27: effort is everything. And you can decide, are you putting
- 27:14Speaker 27: in the most amount of effort that you can? Because
- 27:17Speaker 27: on days I can only give 60% and I give 60%.
- 27:18Speaker 27: I gave a hundred. The question is not how do
- 27:24Speaker 27: you develop the motivation to keep going. The real question
- 27:27Speaker 27: is how do you develop the discipline to do the
- 27:30Speaker 27: stuff you need to do even when you don't feel
- 27:32Speaker 27: like doing it.
- 27:34Speaker 28: And it's going to cost you something. It's going to
- 27:37Speaker 28: cost you more time than you thought you'd have. It's
- 27:40Speaker 28: going to cost you some friends who couldn't make the
- 27:42Speaker 28: entire journey with you. But if you sign up for
- 27:46Speaker 28: the inconvenience, then the goal will take care of itself.
- 27:50Speaker 28: Every day say yes to whatever it takes, no matter what.
- 27:57Speaker 6: The major key to your making things happen in your
- 28:01Speaker 6: life is you.
- 28:05Speaker 29: My truth and my experience has been I have to
- 28:07Speaker 29: jump higher, I have to show up earlier, I have
- 28:10Speaker 29: to be the first person to turn off the light
- 28:11Speaker 29: and the last person to turn off the light. The
- 28:14Speaker 29: way that I show up is by being consistent. So
- 28:17Speaker 29: consistent that people cannot doubt your capacity to succeed. You
- 28:22Speaker 29: have to work harder than the average person.
- 28:25Speaker 2: Now, don't get me wrong.
- 28:26Speaker 27: I still have my bad days.
- 28:27Speaker 2: I'll be like, I hate this. This sucks. This is terrible.
- 28:30Speaker 27: But I'm still doing it. You know, that's the problem.
- 28:32Speaker 27: If you're going to complain, I'm not saying to not complain.
- 28:35Speaker 27: I'm saying to complain and do it.
- 28:37Speaker 2: That's all I care about.
- 28:39Speaker 3: During that point, what did I do? Is I did
- 28:41Speaker 3: what I preached to all of you, which is I
- 28:43Speaker 3: put in the work.
- 28:45Speaker 2: You want the secret? It's called work.
- 28:50Speaker 3: You have to figure out what you're trying to achieve
- 28:52Speaker 3: and what you want, and then you need to put
- 28:54Speaker 3: in the work that maps to that ambition.
- 28:57Speaker 2: You always want to blame other people.
- 28:59Speaker 1: You want to hold other people to the fire, but
- 29:02Speaker 1: you're not holding yourself to the fire.
- 29:03Speaker 2: You need to look at yourself in the.
- 29:05Speaker 26: Mirror and say, why are you only giving 50%?
- 29:07Speaker 2: What's wrong with you? Don't cry to quit. You're already
- 29:12Speaker 2: in pain. You're already hurt. Get a reward from it.
- 29:15Speaker 26: It's necessary you take responsibility for it.
- 29:18Speaker 2: That you make it happen. That you don't give up.
- 29:20Speaker 26: That you don't take any objection or disappointment or defeats personally.
- 29:24Speaker 2: That you keep on keeping on.
- 29:26Speaker 18: That you don't decide that I can't make it because
- 29:28Speaker 18: you can't see the light at the end of the tunnel.
- 29:30Speaker 2: That you realize that's a part of the program. Say
- 29:39Speaker 2: this to yourself. every day. It's not over until I win.
- 29:47Speaker 2: You've got that right.
- 29:55Speaker 27: Motivation plays a huge role, but I'm a big believer
- 29:58Speaker 27: that motivation is comes after action.
- 30:01Speaker 1: Okay?
- 30:02Speaker 27: So stick with me. Motivation comes after action. The question
- 30:06Speaker 27: is not how do you develop the motivation to keep going?
- 30:09Speaker 27: The real question is how do you develop the discipline
- 30:12Speaker 27: to do the stuff you need to do even when
- 30:14Speaker 27: you don't feel like doing it? Floss one tooth. Go
- 30:21Speaker 27: to the gym and lift one weight one time. Then
- 30:24Speaker 27: you can stop. Then you can go home. Then you
- 30:26Speaker 27: can stop. More than likely, because you already got there,
- 30:29Speaker 27: because you already started, you're going to finish. Getting there
- 30:33Speaker 27: is the majority of the issue. The discipline to start,
- 30:38Speaker 27: that's what you need. The motivation to keep going comes
- 30:41Speaker 27: after the action to start. So on those days you
- 30:44Speaker 27: don't feel like it, if you know you need to,
- 30:46Speaker 27: you have to.
- 30:48Speaker 29: Do I think you could be a success without being consistent?
- 30:50Speaker 29: Perhaps if you have other resources and tools that I
- 30:53Speaker 29: was never given. But coming from where I am, my
- 30:56Speaker 29: perspective has only been consistency and the discipline has been
- 30:59Speaker 29: everything that I have ever gotten on the back of
- 31:02Speaker 29: doing it.
- 31:02Speaker 23: Again and again and again.
- 31:04Speaker 5: It is what I teach.
- 31:05Speaker 14: It is what I preach. It is what I believe.
- 31:07Speaker 27: That's what a lot of people do is they try
- 31:09Speaker 27: and attack a big goal with intensity instead of consistency.
- 31:13Speaker 27: They try and just go. They're like, okay, Monday, I'm
- 31:16Speaker 27: going to go get fit. I'm going to do two
- 31:19Speaker 27: hours of cardio. I'm going to eat only chicken, brown rice,
- 31:21Speaker 27: and broccoli six times a day.
- 31:23Speaker 2: I'm going to do.
- 31:25Speaker 27: You've never done that before, one. And two, you know
- 31:27Speaker 27: that's not sustainable. You can't outdo the need for time
- 31:32Speaker 27: and consistency. Intensity still has its place, don't get me wrong,
- 31:36Speaker 27: but misplaced intensity, I feel, is the number one reason
- 31:40Speaker 27: why people fail their roles. And that's not just fitness.
- 31:43Speaker 27: That's with business, that's with everything. Instead of just adding intensity,
- 31:49Speaker 27: you have to be consistent over time. Not consistent for
- 31:52Speaker 27: two days, not consistent for two weeks, over time. You know,
- 31:56Speaker 27: if you do the work, you will more than likely
- 31:58Speaker 27: get there.
- 31:59Speaker 30: So the physics of progress is you come up with
- 32:02Speaker 30: a hypothesis that should be as informed as possible. You
- 32:05Speaker 30: figure out a way to turn that into something you
- 32:07Speaker 30: can actually do. So you're going to run a test.
- 32:09Speaker 30: Then you actually run that test. And then this is
- 32:12Speaker 30: where most people fall down. You have to lower your
- 32:16Speaker 30: psychological defenses. to stare nakedly at the results. And oftentimes
- 32:21Speaker 30: that's gonna be, you didn't do something well, you didn't
- 32:23Speaker 30: think through this right, you made a mistake somewhere. And
- 32:25Speaker 30: then if you're willing to do that and you learn
- 32:27Speaker 30: from that, then you can re-inform your hypothesis, make it
- 32:30Speaker 30: a little bit better, run that whole system again. And
- 32:33Speaker 30: once you get in that loop, then you can really
- 32:35Speaker 30: make progress. The tenacity it takes to face your inadequacies
- 32:41Speaker 30: and continue to try, try, try, that's where we've succeeded.
- 32:50Speaker 2: Michael Jordan has a $ 2 billion net worth. That's beautiful.
- 32:55Speaker 2: But what was the cost for all of that?
- 32:57Speaker 1: How did he win games? How did he win championships?
- 33:00Speaker 1: How hard did he practice? How crazy was his faith?
- 33:03Speaker 1: How many vacations did Michael Jordan have to turn down?
- 33:06Speaker 1: How many parties did he have to walk out of?
- 33:09Speaker 1: How many people had to be amputated out of his life?
- 33:13Speaker 2: Everybody wants to celebrate the $ 2.
- 33:15Speaker 1: Billion evaluation of his enterprise. But it came at a cost.
- 33:21Speaker 1: It came with some sleepless nights. It came with some
- 33:24Speaker 1: long practices. It came with a lot of no's.
- 33:28Speaker 22: No, no, no, no.
- 33:29Speaker 2: I can't do the party.
- 33:30Speaker 1: No, no, no. I'm not going to do the drinking. No,
- 33:32Speaker 1: I'm not connecting with them. No, I don't need that circle. No,
- 33:36Speaker 1: it came with a lot of no's. It came with
- 33:38Speaker 1: a lot of sacrifice. It comes with a lot of rejecting.
- 33:43Speaker 1: It comes with a lot of awareness of what is
- 33:47Speaker 1: not serving you.
- 33:49Speaker 2: The vision.
- 33:52Speaker 1: Had a temperature of over 100 degrees and won the
- 33:55Speaker 1: game over the Jazz in 95, a champion.
- 33:59Speaker 2: But he sacrificed comfort. He sacrificed convenience.
- 34:02Speaker 1: He had to sacrifice and reject the voices in his
- 34:05Speaker 1: head that said, you're crazy, you're sick, you need to rest,
- 34:09Speaker 1: you need to sit down. If I'm going to see success,
- 34:13Speaker 1: I've got to define what sacrifices I require in order
- 34:17Speaker 1: to step into it.
- 34:18Speaker 2: I cannot have it.
- 34:20Speaker 1: I will not see it until I've counted up the cost.
- 34:25Speaker 1: You'll find yourself connected to 100 people that think they
- 34:28Speaker 1: know what you should be doing to get where you're
- 34:29Speaker 1: supposed to be. And so I've got to begin to
- 34:32Speaker 1: shut the mouths of the people that don't know the cost,
- 34:35Speaker 1: the price that I have to pay. You may have
- 34:37Speaker 1: paid that, but I may not have to pay that price.
- 34:41Speaker 1: I can learn from your mistakes. I don't have to
- 34:44Speaker 1: fall down the same ditch as you fell down. I
- 34:46Speaker 1: don't have to flop down the same stairs you flopped down.
- 34:50Speaker 1: That's your price. That's your cause. I've got another way.
- 34:53Speaker 1: I've got a different mentality. I just may be a
- 34:56Speaker 1: little bit more creative than you. I just may be
- 34:58Speaker 1: a little bit more innovative. I just may have more
- 35:00Speaker 1: faith than you. I don't have to fall like you fell.
- 35:03Speaker 1: I don't have to hurt like you hurt. I can
- 35:06Speaker 1: look up and get up. When did you get to
- 35:09Speaker 1: the point where you snapped so easily, when you let
- 35:12Speaker 1: go so easily, when you gave up so easily? I
- 35:15Speaker 1: know what it's like to feel like if I keep going,
- 35:18Speaker 1: I'm going to waste my time. We all get to
- 35:20Speaker 1: this point in our life where we ask ourselves the question,
- 35:23Speaker 1: what have I held on to that should.
- 35:24Speaker 2: Have been amputated? All of us are holding on to something.
- 35:31Speaker 1: That is familiar and we are comfortable and it has
- 35:34Speaker 1: become our paradigm, our pattern, our way of life. And
- 35:38Speaker 1: if we're honest, we can't see ourselves without this thing.
- 35:42Speaker 1: I don't know what it is for you. Everybody's got
- 35:44Speaker 1: a different thing, person, place, something that needs to be
- 35:48Speaker 1: amputated out of our life. Cut off that's no longer
- 35:51Speaker 1: serving us. And so my question to you really is,
- 35:54Speaker 1: I know you have your eyes on success, the end game,
- 35:57Speaker 1: the trophy, but.
- 36:00Speaker 2: What.
- 36:00Speaker 1: Conveniences haven't we let go of that have.
- 36:05Speaker 2: Become cancerous to us?
- 36:08Speaker 1: If we're honest, we should be able to write out
- 36:10Speaker 1: a whole list of things that we're not doing that
- 36:13Speaker 1: we were destined to do, but our forward motion has
- 36:18Speaker 1: been halted by something. Are you willing to confess to
- 36:22Speaker 1: yourself what haven't you been willing to surrender? Why is
- 36:27Speaker 1: it that you think what's killing you is helping you?
- 36:30Speaker 1: You're bleeding out. You're directionless. You don't even have an
- 36:34Speaker 1: idea where you are. And you're so comfortable, yet you're
- 36:40Speaker 1: so annoyed because there's something deep down inside of you
- 36:44Speaker 1: that knows that you're not where you're supposed to be.
- 36:49Speaker 1: So now we've got to start talking about the things
- 36:50Speaker 1: that we need to sacrifice.
- 36:51Speaker 2: What is it that needs to be amputated?
- 36:55Speaker 1: That I thought was assigned to be an aid to me.
- 37:00Speaker 1: That I thought was a help. That I thought was
- 37:03Speaker 1: an assignment is actually my assassin. It's the things in
- 37:08Speaker 1: our life that we think are helping us that we're
- 37:11Speaker 1: assigned to that are oftentimes assigned.
- 37:14Speaker 2: To kill us.
- 37:16Speaker 1: What have you clinged to that should have been amputated
- 37:19Speaker 1: years ago? I don't know what it is. You know,
- 37:21Speaker 1: I don't have to know. You need to know. Is
- 37:24Speaker 1: it laziness? Is it procrastination?
- 37:26Speaker 2: Is it ego?
- 37:26Speaker 19: Is it fear?
- 37:27Speaker 2: Is it doubt? Is it rejection? Is it abandonment? Is
- 37:32Speaker 2: it just pain? I mean, what is it? What is it? Why, why, why, why, why?
- 37:38Speaker 1: Haven't you been able to succeed in specific areas that
- 37:41Speaker 1: you've set out to conquer, that you've set out to dominate,
- 37:43Speaker 1: that you've set out to be the best?
- 37:45Speaker 2: Why is it? that you haven't been able to succeed?
- 37:48Speaker 5: Why, why, why?
- 37:49Speaker 1: Just of these questions. And what haven't you been willing
- 37:52Speaker 1: to sacrifice? We all know the list. There's no time
- 37:55Speaker 1: to get amnesia now. We all know the list of
- 37:57Speaker 1: things we got to say. Are we going to have
- 37:59Speaker 1: immediate gratification and long-term dysfunction? Or are we going to
- 38:04Speaker 1: have long-term gratification and short-term discomfort?
- 38:16Speaker 14: If you really want to be successful, if you really
- 38:19Speaker 14: want to go to the next level, if you really
- 38:22Speaker 14: want to prove all your doubters and haters and naysayers wrong,
- 38:26Speaker 14: you have to be willing to disappear for six months.
- 38:29Speaker 14: You have to be willing to disappear for seven months,
- 38:32Speaker 14: eight months, nine months, as long as it takes for
- 38:36Speaker 14: you to metamorph into the brand new you. See, the
- 38:43Speaker 14: mindset of greatness... It's what will allow you to stay
- 38:47Speaker 14: inside while you're trying to put yourself in a position
- 38:52Speaker 14: six months from now to come back outside a brand
- 38:58Speaker 14: new human being. Make the world remember your name. Make
- 39:02Speaker 14: the world say, wow, what in the world have you
- 39:05Speaker 14: been doing? It's discipline, discipline, and more discipline.
- 39:11Speaker 2: The great Zig Ziglar says.
- 39:13Speaker 14: Self-discipline is doing within while you're doing without. Oh, you
- 39:20Speaker 14: don't believe that it can happen for you? You don't
- 39:24Speaker 14: believe that if you disappear for six months and come
- 39:27Speaker 14: up with a game plan and execute that game plan
- 39:30Speaker 14: that you can change your life?
- 39:34Speaker 1: Sure, you can talk about it. Sure, you can plan it. Sure,
- 39:38Speaker 1: you can write it down. Sure, you can go to
- 39:40Speaker 1: the conference and hear about it. You can read about it.
- 39:43Speaker 1: But at some juncture, you have to disappear and put
- 39:47Speaker 1: the work in and come back and shock everybody that
- 39:52Speaker 1: doubted you.
- 39:55Speaker 14: I chose to sit my butt down. and get to
- 39:59Speaker 14: work and grind hard each and every day and celebrate
- 40:03Speaker 14: the small wins along the way. And let one day
- 40:06Speaker 14: become two and two days become three and three days
- 40:09Speaker 14: become four and four turned into a week and a
- 40:12Speaker 14: week turned into a month and a month turned into
- 40:15Speaker 14: two months and two months became three and three became
- 40:17Speaker 14: four and five became six. And when I showed myself,
- 40:23Speaker 14: the world knew I had been working. I knew I
- 40:27Speaker 14: had been working. I was a different animal. I was
- 40:31Speaker 14: a different beast. And it's now time for you to
- 40:34Speaker 14: unleash your beast to the world. But first you got
- 40:38Speaker 14: to shut yourself down for six months.
- 40:42Speaker 2: You have all this business. You got work to do.
- 40:47Speaker 1: And so one thing we are going to have to
- 40:52Speaker 1: get a crystal clear about is that if I failed,
- 40:57Speaker 1: then I can win. I'm talking to that track star,
- 41:01Speaker 1: I'm talking to that athlete, I'm talking to that student,
- 41:04Speaker 1: I'm talking to the person who failed the exam over
- 41:06Speaker 1: and over and over again. I'm talking to that individual
- 41:10Speaker 1: who feels as though all hope is lost. If you
- 41:14Speaker 1: are still alive, you've got something left.
- 41:20Speaker 31: When the war drums sound, the people that have been
- 41:22Speaker 31: to war are the ones that actually say, let's think
- 41:25Speaker 31: about this first. Like I said before, and like everyone
- 41:30Speaker 31: says all the time, and they say it like it's
- 41:32Speaker 31: no big deal, but war is hell. Before you do that,
- 41:38Speaker 31: you should think about why you're doing it and understand
- 41:43Speaker 31: if the people have the will to fight. And the
- 41:49Speaker 31: will to fight, as I've said many times before, the
- 41:52Speaker 31: will to fight is the will to kill and it's
- 41:53Speaker 31: the will to die.
- 41:54Speaker 2: And those are some pretty big wills.
- 41:55Speaker 11: That you need to have.
- 41:58Speaker 2: This is your life, my friend.
- 42:00Speaker 1: And I'm sure when it's all said and done, you
- 42:02Speaker 1: don't want to look back and see that you wasted it.
- 42:05Speaker 1: This is your life, my friend. So you stand up.
- 42:08Speaker 1: This is your life, my friend. So you rise up.
- 42:12Speaker 1: This is your life, my friend. So you keep going.
- 42:15Speaker 2: This is your life, my friend. So you never give up.
- 42:18Speaker 2: This is your life, my friend. You need to keep going.
- 42:21Speaker 2: This is your life, my friend. This is what you
- 42:24Speaker 2: take control.
- 42:30Speaker 1: Though you may fail, you refuse to tolerate it. Though
- 42:34Speaker 1: you may fall, you refuse.
- 42:36Speaker 2: To stay down. Though you may lose the battle, you
- 42:40Speaker 2: refuse to lose the war.
- 42:43Speaker 1: Reach the point of no return, my friend, where you're
- 42:46Speaker 1: always willing to give more.
- 42:51Speaker 2: My style is impetuous. My defense is impregnable. And I'm
- 42:54Speaker 2: just ferocious. I want your heart. I want to eat
- 42:56Speaker 2: his children.
- 42:57Speaker 12: Me all in the same room, they're saying nothing to
- 42:59Speaker 12: each other. Everybody's game face. Like, we're going to war
- 43:04Speaker 12: with each other. The way I look back then, you know,
- 43:13Speaker 12: that was all good and great, but I wasn't in
- 43:16Speaker 12: it to look a certain way.
- 43:17Speaker 2: I was in it to be great.
- 43:26Speaker 23: Out of the 100 men that go into war.
- 43:28Speaker 1: 10 shouldn't even fucking be there. 80 of.
- 43:34Speaker 23: Them are just targets.
- 43:38Speaker 2: Nine do most of the fighting. One is a warrior.
- 43:51Speaker 17: In bodybuilding initially, made me have to look at who
- 43:54Speaker 17: I am as an individual. Do I want to do
- 43:56Speaker 17: the training? Okay, fine, I can train. But do I
- 43:59Speaker 17: really want to diet? Do I really want to give
- 44:02Speaker 17: up time with friends? Do I want to be misunderstood?
- 44:08Speaker 2: All humans are not created equal.
- 44:11Speaker 27: Some people just have a beautiful hand of cards.
- 44:15Speaker 2: That guy's got four aces, and he puts them right
- 44:17Speaker 2: in your face.
- 44:18Speaker 13: Boom!
- 44:22Speaker 1: I know if I bet on myself, I know I
- 44:25Speaker 1: can dictate everything.
- 44:28Speaker 2: I run everything. I'm the boss.
- 44:35Speaker 9: Take ten seconds to get it again, beast.
- 44:37Speaker 2: Get it, baby.
- 44:41Speaker 1: Come on.
- 44:42Speaker 2: Yeah, there you go. There you go.
- 44:45Speaker 25: Energy.
- 44:46Speaker 7: Let it out.
- 44:47Speaker 13: Seven. Eight.
- 44:49Speaker 1: Nine.
- 44:51Speaker 2: Machine here.
- 44:52Speaker 5: There you go.
- 44:53Speaker 2: Nobody works like David in this house.
- 44:56Speaker 1: 13.
- 44:56Speaker 5: Come on.
- 44:57Speaker 28: 14.
- 44:57Speaker 2: Come on.
- 44:58Speaker 28: 15.
- 44:58Speaker 2: Shut that muscle down.
- 44:59Speaker 1: 16.
- 44:59Speaker 5: Come on.
- 45:02Speaker 4: Get it.
- 45:02Speaker 1: 17.
- 45:02Speaker 4: Come on.
- 45:03Speaker 5: We want to see it.
- 45:14Speaker 4: Good.
- 45:14Speaker 1: 22.
- 45:14Speaker 2: Who's going to carry the boats in the lawns? That's
- 45:28Speaker 2: not all you have. There's more left in you. I
- 45:32Speaker 2: know you're tired. I know you're feeling it.
- 45:35Speaker 1: I know you've been brought to tears.
- 45:38Speaker 2: All the blood, all the sweat, all the sacrifice, all
- 45:42Speaker 2: of the suffering.
- 45:43Speaker 1: I know you want to quit right now, but this
- 45:46Speaker 1: is not the time to let go.
- 45:48Speaker 2: This is not the time to doubt. This is not
- 45:51Speaker 2: the time to quit.
- 45:52Speaker 1: Keep going. Move into your advantage.
- 46:00Speaker 2: You gotta put yourself in that cage.
- 46:03Speaker 20: When you're in that cage, you are that character.
- 46:05Speaker 1: And when you leave there, it's something completely different.
- 46:07Speaker 17: But when I'm in that cage, bro, don't touch me.
- 46:10Speaker 17: Don't talk to me.
- 46:12Speaker 2: Leave me alone. Push that last rep. Push with everything
- 46:24Speaker 2: you got. Tell excuses to step aside.
- 46:28Speaker 9: Let weakness know that it is not welcome in your house.
- 46:38Speaker 2: Go get it. Go get it now. And give it
- 46:41Speaker 2: everything you got. Be productive. Be powerful. And from the
- 46:46Speaker 2: bottom of my heart, conduct your business.
- 46:55Speaker 1: The truth of the matter is, how are you so
- 46:58Speaker 1: physically fatigued that you have allowed your dream, your destiny
- 47:04Speaker 1: to take a backseat to this excuse that you don't
- 47:07Speaker 1: have what it takes, that you're not smart enough, that
- 47:09Speaker 1: you're not tall enough, that you're not wide enough, that
- 47:12Speaker 1: you're not deep enough, that you're not connected enough, that
- 47:15Speaker 1: you don't know enough people. You keep comparing yourself to
- 47:21Speaker 1: that person and this person. When will the excuses stop?
- 47:26Speaker 1: When will you see your purpose bigger than your excuse?
- 47:33Speaker 9: Understand that it takes pure grit, tenacity, passion, and pure focus.
- 47:42Speaker 2: This is what you train for.
- 47:44Speaker 9: Hours and hours and hours and hours of pain Hours
- 47:48Speaker 9: and hours and hours and hours of sweat Hours and
- 47:51Speaker 9: hours and hours.
- 47:52Speaker 24: Of working hard Do you give up now? I don't
- 47:57Speaker 24: know your name, but I know you have a dream.
- 48:00Speaker 24: I don't know where you're from or where you're listening
- 48:02Speaker 24: to me.
- 48:02Speaker 1: You may be listening to me in your closet, your bedroom,
- 48:06Speaker 1: the gym, the car, the bus, the train, the plane.
- 48:09Speaker 1: I don't know where you're going, but I know you
- 48:12Speaker 1: are going somewhere. You've got a destination. People that make excuses.
- 48:18Speaker 1: are not connected to their destination. They don't have an
- 48:22Speaker 1: end game. They don't have a goal. You have allowed
- 48:25Speaker 1: yourself to become a weak link covered under the blanket
- 48:29Speaker 1: of excuses. But I'm just wondering if there's anybody here
- 48:35Speaker 1: that has a dream. And if you've made your excuses
- 48:39Speaker 1: bigger than your dream, the time is.
- 48:41Speaker 9: Now to apply pressure. But do not depend on your flesh.
- 48:46Speaker 9: Depend on the soul. The soul of a true champion.
- 48:52Speaker 9: For the soul is eternal. And the soul never dies. Yes,
- 48:58Speaker 9: you're gonna feel like you wanna give in. Yes, you're
- 49:01Speaker 9: gonna feel like that body just ain't got it no more.
- 49:05Speaker 2: Because you worked so hard now.
- 49:07Speaker 1: This is not a I feel like it today. This
- 49:10Speaker 1: is not a I'm motivated for a week. This is
- 49:14Speaker 1: an every single day mentality.
- 49:21Speaker 19: And in the introduction you say discipline gives us freedom
- 49:24Speaker 19: which again feels like that's typically not what people think
- 49:27Speaker 19: of discipline we think of discipline as taking our freedom
- 49:29Speaker 19: and making our lives as you say more rigid yeah
- 49:31Speaker 19: you were saying then like more rigid and less less
- 49:33Speaker 19: choices less optionality but in the introduction of your book
- 49:37Speaker 19: you say discipline gives us freedom.
- 49:41Speaker 3: I think that a lot of the discussions about motivation
- 49:43Speaker 3: can cause people to believe that there's some magical state
- 49:47Speaker 3: that they need to be in before they do something.
- 49:51Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 49:51Speaker 32: And as I've said since day one, it's motivation is
- 49:54Speaker 32: a feeling that comes and goes and it doesn't matter
- 49:56Speaker 32: whether it's there or not. Discipline is infinitely more important.
- 50:00Speaker 32: So no matter how you feel, get up and do
- 50:03Speaker 32: what you're supposed to do. That's it.
- 50:05Speaker 2: And that's discipline.
- 50:05Speaker 32: It's not motivation.
- 50:07Speaker 31: If you only did what you were supposed to do
- 50:10Speaker 31: when you were motivated to do it, that's leaving it
- 50:12Speaker 31: to chance.
- 50:13Speaker 2: But if you're disciplined, you go do what you're supposed
- 50:15Speaker 2: to do. That's the way it works.
- 50:18Speaker 20: You know, you want to be a little bit better
- 50:20Speaker 20: in some way tomorrow than you are today, but it's
- 50:23Speaker 20: not going to be in a linear path. You have
- 50:25Speaker 20: to really do the work. Like, you have to back
- 50:28Speaker 20: it with hard work.
- 50:31Speaker 25: I don't care how you perceive David Goggins.
- 50:33Speaker 7: I walk in a room now and I know the
- 50:35Speaker 7: hours and years and decades.
- 50:38Speaker 2: I put in a David Goggins.
- 50:40Speaker 3: It's not on the wall.
- 50:41Speaker 25: It's not a trophy on the wall. It's not a
- 50:43Speaker 25: medal on your neck. It is actually a feeling in
- 50:46Speaker 25: your heart. Through my journey, I figured out the one
- 50:51Speaker 25: piece I was missing.
- 50:53Speaker 23: The one piece I was missing was me having the
- 50:55Speaker 23: courage to face myself.
- 50:59Speaker 26: Wake up every single day thinking about how can I
- 51:02Speaker 26: change my life? Because what you want They'll hunt you
- 51:09Speaker 26: every single night.
- 51:12Speaker 18: See, the big dogs, they won't give you the opportunity.
- 51:15Speaker 2: You're going to have to take it.
- 51:18Speaker 1: I need you to tell yourself right now, there is
- 51:20Speaker 1: no other way. There is no other way. There is
- 51:23Speaker 1: no other way. Future belongs to the discipline.
- 51:26Speaker 19: You know what I'm saying?
- 51:28Speaker 2: And you're very undisciplined.
- 51:29Speaker 19: And you're emotionally undisciplined.
- 51:31Speaker 17: And if you could develop this discipline now, you will
- 51:35Speaker 17: get much further ahead in a much faster way.
- 51:44Speaker 11: I'm scared to death. I'm totally afraid. I'm afraid of everything.
- 51:48Speaker 11: I'm afraid of losing. I'm afraid of being humiliated. But
- 51:50Speaker 11: I'm totally confident. The closer I get to the ring,
- 51:52Speaker 11: the more confidence I get. The closer, the more confidence
- 51:56Speaker 11: I get. The closer, the more confidence I get. All
- 51:59Speaker 11: during my training, I've been afraid of this man. I
- 52:02Speaker 11: thought this man might be capable of beating me. I've
- 52:04Speaker 11: dreamed of him beating me. But I always stayed afraid
- 52:08Speaker 11: of him. But the closer I get to the ring,
- 52:10Speaker 11: I'm more confident. Once I'm in the ring, I'm a god.
- 52:13Speaker 11: No one can beat me.
- 52:30Speaker 2: That's all I needed. That's all I needed for him
- 52:33Speaker 2: to do that. And it became personal with me.
- 52:36Speaker 25: For me, anger was good.
- 52:38Speaker 2: Anger was good because it was motivating. The more I
- 52:42Speaker 2: could treat an enemy, the more I wanted to go
- 52:44Speaker 2: out and kill those guys.
- 52:50Speaker 18: I'm going to kill your dreams.
- 52:53Speaker 2: I'm going to kill your dreams. Like I told him,
- 52:57Speaker 2: I'm the lion. I'm the king of the jungle.
- 53:00Speaker 1: And come February 27th, I'm going to rip his head
- 53:03Speaker 1: off his body.
- 53:04Speaker 13: You don't go in here blindly.
- 53:05Speaker 3: You go in here with a f * * *
- 53:06Speaker 3: ing purpose.
- 53:07Speaker 2: Mentally believe in it, like Muhammad Ali.
- 53:09Speaker 8: He called himself the greatest fighter before he ever won something.
- 53:11Speaker 2: He believed it.
- 53:13Speaker 1: All of you chumps are going to bow when I
- 53:15Speaker 1: whoop him. All of you.
- 53:16Speaker 2: I know you got him. I know you got him, dick.
- 53:19Speaker 2: But the man's in trouble. I'm going to show you
- 53:21Speaker 2: how great I am.
