- Jessica Figueroa: Here we are again today, doing something just for today. So we're on the reading category again today, and we are going to take a book. But I would like, if you have kids, for you to find a picture book. You can gather so much wisdom from great picture books. A lot of these books, Curious George, Winnie the Pooh, The Tale of Peter Rabbit, these books were written chalk full of wisdom. Don't always think you have to go to the most wise person or some complicated book to learn a wise lesson. So if you have one of those books at home, today we're gonna grab a children's picture book and you're gonna read it to yourself. That's it. Don't grab your kid. Just grab the picture book and read it and think about the lesson it's trying to teach. Oftentimes, the lessons we were taught as children we have forgotten, or we forget that the lessons we teach children are the same lessons that we need to be applying to our everyday lives. So are you still curious, like George? Do you still have a little spirited side like? Peter Rabbit, what is it about you that you need to be taught these same lessons that we teach our children in picture books? So today we're gonna grab a picture book, we're gonna read it, we're gonna think about the moral. If you don't have a picture book, if you don't have kids at home, I want you to go to esopsfables.gov. Okay. I want you to go to Aesops. You spell that A-E-S-O-P-S dot gov. And there you can access all the Aesops Fables from they're in the Library of Congress. And you're gonna pick one. And you're gonna read it and you're gonna think about it. That's it. Just for today, we're gonna learn a moral and a lesson from a children's story because they are timeless. I'm here for you guys. I'm rooting for you. We're doing this together just for today.
